Original Work Declaration
SalatWaqt is an independently developed platform. Our prayer time calculation engine was built from scratch using Jean Meeus's astronomical algorithms ("Astronomical Algorithms", Willmann-Bell, 1991) and standard solar position formulas from the US Naval Observatory. Our source code, database schema, API architecture, multilingual translation system, UI/UX design, and all associated creative works are original works of authorship created by the SalatWaqt development team. No portion of this website was copied, cloned, or derived from any other website or service.

SalatWaqt provides hadith from recognized and authentic collections including Sahih Al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Jami' at-Tirmidhi, Sunan Abu Dawud, Sunan An-Nasa'i, Sunan Ibn Majah, Muwatta Malik, Riyad as-Salihin, Bulugh al-Maram, Mishkat al-Masabih, and other trusted sources. Our hadith database contains over 48,000 narrations from 46 authentic books.
Accuracy & Verification
While SalatWaqt strives to maintain the highest accuracy in hadith texts, translations, and grading, we recommend verifying critical religious rulings with qualified Islamic scholars. The grading system (Sahih, Hasan, Da'if) is based on established hadith science methodology. Automated translations may contain minor inaccuracies.
Hadith Search Feature
Our Hadith Search (Ask Hadith) feature uses keyword-based full-text search to help users find relevant narrations. Search results are ranked by relevance and popularity. This feature is provided as a research tool and should not replace consultation with Islamic scholars for religious rulings.
Sharing & Image Generation
Users may share hadith via social media platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook, X/Twitter) using our built-in sharing tools. Hadith images generated by SalatWaqt are free to share for non-commercial, educational, and da'wah purposes with proper attribution to the source. Bulk downloading, scraping, or automated collection of hadith content is strictly prohibited.
Translations
Hadith texts are available in up to 10 languages: English, Bangla, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Turkish, Indonesian, Malay, French, and German. Translations are sourced from published Islamic works and supplemented with automated translation where necessary. The original Arabic text is the authoritative version.
