Ash-Shamail Al-Muhammadiyah # 10/74
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: كَيْفَ كَانَ نَعْلُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ قَالَ: لَهُمَا قِبَالانِ.
Muhammad ibn Bashar told us, saying: Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi told us, saying: Hammam told us, on the authority of, saying: I said to Anas ibn Malik: What were the sandals of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, like? He said: They had two straps.

Ash-Shamail Al-Muhammadiyah # 10/75
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ لِنَعْلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قِبَالانِ، مَثْنِيٌّ شِرَاكَهُمَا.
Abu Kurayb Muhammad ibn al-Ala’ told us: Waki’ told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Khalid al-Hadhdha’, on the authority of Abdullah ibn al-Harith, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, who said: The sandal of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, had two straps, and their thongs were folded.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، قَالَ: أَخْرَجَ إِلَيْنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ نَعْلَيْنِ جَرْدَاوَيْنِ، لَهُمَا قِبَالانِ. قَالَ : فَحَدَّثَنِي ثَابِتٌ بَعْدُ عَنْ أَنَسُ ، أَنَّهُمَا كَانَتَا نَعْلَيِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Ahmad ibn Mani’ told us, saying: Abu Ahmad al-Zubayri told us, saying: Isa ibn Tahman told us, saying: Anas ibn Malik brought out to us two bare sandals with two straps. He said: Thabit then told me, on the authority of Anas, that they were the sandals of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى الأَنْصَارِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لابْنِ عُمَرَ: رَأَيْتُكَ تَلْبَسُ النِّعَالَ السِّبْتِيَّةَ، قَالَ: إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَلْبَسُ النِّعَالَ الَّتِي لَيْسَ فِيهَا شَعَرٌ، وَيَتَوَضَّأُ فِيهَا، فَأَنَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَلْبَسَهَا.
Ishaq ibn Musa al-Ansari told us: Ma'n told us: Malik told us: Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id al-Maqburi told us, on the authority of 'Ubayd ibn Jurayj, that he said to Ibn 'Umar: I saw you wearing leather sandals. He said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, wearing sandals that had no hair on them, and he would perform ablution in them, so I like them. To wear it.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ مَوْلَى التَّوْءَمَةِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: كَانَ لِنَعْلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قِبَالانِ.
Ishaq bin Mansur told us, saying: Abd al-Razzaq told us, on the authority of Ma’mar, on the authority of Ibn Abi Dhi’b, on the authority of Salih, the freed slave of al-Taw’amah, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, who said: The sandal of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, had two straps.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ، سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ حُرَيْثٍ، يَقُولُ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْنِ مَخْصُوفَتَيْنِ.
Ahmad ibn Mani’ told us, saying: Abu Ahmad told us, saying: Sufyan told us, on the authority of al-Suddi, saying: Someone told me that he heard Amr ibn Hurayth say: I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, praying in two patched sandals.

Ash-Shamail Al-Muhammadiyah # 10/81
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى الأَنْصَارِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، قَالَ: لا يَمْشِيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدَةٍ، لِيُنْعِلْهُمَا جَمِيعًا، أَوْ لِيُحْفِهِمَا جَمِيعًا.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ نَحْوَهُ.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ نَحْوَهُ.
Ishaq ibn Musa al-Ansari narrated to us, saying: Ma'n narrated to us, saying: Malik narrated to us, on the authority of Abu al-Zinad, on the authority of al-A'raj, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "None of you should walk in one sandal; either wear both sandals or go barefoot."
Qutaybah narrated to us, on the authority of Malik ibn Anas, on the authority of Abu al-Zinad, something similar.

Ash-Shamail Al-Muhammadiyah # 10/82
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَ، يَعْنِي الرَّجُلَ، بِشِمَالِهِ، أَوْ يَمْشِيَ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدَةٍ.
Ishaq bin Musa told us, saying: Ma’n told us, saying: Malik told us, on the authority of Abu al-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade a man from eating with his left hand or walking in one sandal.

Ash-Shamail Al-Muhammadiyah # 10/83
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حوَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، قَالَ: إِذَا انْتَعَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْيَمِينِ، وَإِذَا نَزَعَ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالشِّمَالِ، فَلْتَكُنِ الْيَمِينُ أَوَّلَهُمَا تُنْعَلُ، وَآخِرَهُمَا تُنْزَعُ.
Qutaybah told us, and Ishaq bin Musa told us, saying: Ma’n told us, saying: Malik told us, on the authority of Abu al-Zinad, on the authority of al-A’raj, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: When one of you puts on his shoes, let him start with the right foot, and when he takes them off, let him start with the left foot. So let the right foot be the first to be shod and the last to be unshoeed.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُحِبُّ التَّيَمُّنَ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ فِي تَرَجُّلِهِ، وَتَنَعُّلِهِ وَطُهُورِهِ.
Abu Musa Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna told us: Muhammad ibn Ja`far told us: Shu`bah told us: Ash`ath, who is Ibn Abi al-Sha`tha`, told us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Masruq, on the authority of `A`ishah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, loved to start with the right side whenever possible in combing his hair, putting on his shoes, and performing ablution.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ قَيْسٍ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: كَانَ لِنَعْلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قِبَالانِ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ، وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ عَقَدَ عَقْدًا وَاحِدًا عُثْمَانُ رضي الله عنه..
Muhammad ibn Marzuq Abu Abdullah told us: Abd al-Rahman ibn Qays Abu Muawiyah told us: Hisham told us, on the authority of Muhammad, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, who said: The sandal of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, had two straps, and so did those of Abu Bakr and Umar, and the first to tie it with a single strap was Uthman, may God be pleased with him.
