ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ the Most Gracious l-raḥmāni
the Most Gracious
ٱلرَّحِيمِ the Most Merciful l-raḥīmi
the Most Merciful
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
٣٢:١
الٓمٓ Alif Lam Meem alif-lam-meem
Alif Lam Meem
١ (1)
(1)
Alif, Lām, Meem.
٣٢:٢
تَنزِيلُ (The) revelation tanzīlu
(The) revelation
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ (of) the Book l-kitābi
(of) the Book
لَا (there is) no
(there is) no
رَيْبَ doubt rayba
doubt
فِيهِ about it fīhi
about it
مِن from min
from
رَّبِّ (the) Lord rabbi
(the) Lord
ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ (of) the worlds l-ʿālamīna
(of) the worlds
٢ (2)
(2)
[This is] the revelation of the Book about which there is no doubt from the Lord of the worlds.
٣٢:٣
أَمْ Or am
Or
يَقُولُونَ (do) they say yaqūlūna
(do) they say
ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ ۚ He invented it if'tarāhu
He invented it
بَلْ Nay bal
Nay
هُوَ it huwa
it
ٱلْحَقُّ (is) the truth l-ḥaqu
(is) the truth
مِن from min
from
رَّبِّكَ your Lord rabbika
your Lord
لِتُنذِرَ that you may warn litundhira
that you may warn
قَوْمًۭا a people qawman
a people
مَّآ not
not
أَتَىٰهُم has come to them atāhum
has come to them
مِّن any min
any
نَّذِيرٍۢ warner nadhīrin
warner
مِّن before you min
before you
قَبْلِكَ before you qablika
before you
لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may laʿallahum
so that they may
يَهْتَدُونَ be guided yahtadūna
be guided
٣ (3)
(3)
Or do they say, "He invented it"? Rather, it is the truth from your Lord, [O Muḥammad], that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you [so] perhaps they will be guided.
٣٢:٤
ٱللَّهُ Allah al-lahu
Allah
ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who alladhī
(is) the One Who
خَلَقَ created khalaqa
created
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens l-samāwāti
the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth wal-arḍa
and the earth
وَمَا and whatever wamā
and whatever
بَيْنَهُمَا (is) between them baynahumā
(is) between them
فِى in
in
سِتَّةِ six sittati
six
أَيَّامٍۢ periods ayyāmin
periods
ثُمَّ Then thumma
Then
ٱسْتَوَىٰ established Himself is'tawā
established Himself
عَلَى on ʿalā
on
ٱلْعَرْشِ ۖ the Throne l-ʿarshi
the Throne
مَا Not
Not
لَكُم for you lakum
for you
مِّن besides Him min
besides Him
دُونِهِۦ besides Him dūnihi
besides Him
مِن any min
any
وَلِىٍّۢ protector waliyyin
protector
وَلَا and not walā
and not
شَفِيعٍ ۚ any intercessor shafīʿin
any intercessor
أَفَلَا Then will not afalā
Then will not
تَتَذَكَّرُونَ you take heed tatadhakkarūna
you take heed
٤ (4)
(4)
It is Allāh who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days; then He established Himself above the Throne. You have not besides Him any protector or any intercessor; so will you not be reminded?
٣٢:٥
يُدَبِّرُ He regulates yudabbiru
He regulates
ٱلْأَمْرَ the affair l-amra
the affair
مِنَ of mina
of
ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heaven l-samāi
the heaven
إِلَى to ilā
to
ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth l-arḍi
the earth
ثُمَّ then thumma
then
يَعْرُجُ it will ascend yaʿruju
it will ascend
إِلَيْهِ to Him ilayhi
to Him
فِى in
in
يَوْمٍۢ a Day yawmin
a Day
كَانَ (the) measure of which is kāna
(the) measure of which is
مِقْدَارُهُۥٓ (the) measure of which is miq'dāruhu
(the) measure of which is
أَلْفَ a thousand alfa
a thousand
سَنَةٍۢ years sanatin
years
مِّمَّا of what mimmā
of what
تَعُدُّونَ you count taʿuddūna
you count
٥ (5)
(5)
He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count.
٣٢:٦
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika
That
عَـٰلِمُ (is the) Knower ʿālimu
(is the) Knower
ٱلْغَيْبِ (of) the hidden l-ghaybi
(of) the hidden
وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ and the witnessed wal-shahādati
and the witnessed
ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty l-ʿazīzu
the All-Mighty
ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful l-raḥīmu
the Most Merciful
٦ (6)
(6)
That is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,
٣٢:٧
ٱلَّذِىٓ The One Who alladhī
The One Who
أَحْسَنَ made good aḥsana
made good
كُلَّ every kulla
every
شَىْءٍ thing shayin
thing
خَلَقَهُۥ ۖ He created khalaqahu
He created
وَبَدَأَ and He began wabada-a
and He began
خَلْقَ (the) creation khalqa
(the) creation
ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ (of) man l-insāni
(of) man
مِن from min
from
طِينٍۢ clay ṭīnin
clay
٧ (7)
(7)
Who perfected everything which He created and began the creation of man from clay.
٣٢:٨
ثُمَّ Then thumma
Then
جَعَلَ He made jaʿala
He made
نَسْلَهُۥ his progeny naslahu
his progeny
مِن from min
from
سُلَـٰلَةٍۢ an extract sulālatin
an extract
مِّن of min
of
مَّآءٍۢ water māin
water
مَّهِينٍۢ despised mahīnin
despised
٨ (8)
(8)
Then He made his posterity out of the extract of a liquid disdained.
٣٢:٩
ثُمَّ Then thumma
Then
سَوَّىٰهُ He fashioned him sawwāhu
He fashioned him
وَنَفَخَ and breathed wanafakha
and breathed
فِيهِ into him fīhi
into him
مِن from min
from
رُّوحِهِۦ ۖ His spirit rūḥihi
His spirit
وَجَعَلَ and made wajaʿala
and made
لَكُمُ for you lakumu
for you
ٱلسَّمْعَ the hearing l-samʿa
the hearing
وَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ and the sight wal-abṣāra
and the sight
وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۚ and feelings wal-afidata
and feelings
قَلِيلًۭا little qalīlan
little
مَّا [what]
[what]
تَشْكُرُونَ thanks you give tashkurūna
thanks you give
٩ (9)
(9)
Then He proportioned him and breathed into him from His [created] soul and made for you hearing and vision and hearts [i.e., intellect]; little are you grateful.
٣٢:١٠
وَقَالُوٓا۟ And they say waqālū
And they say
أَءِذَا Is (it) when a-idhā
Is (it) when
ضَلَلْنَا we are lost ḍalalnā
we are lost
فِى in
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth l-arḍi
the earth
أَءِنَّا will we a-innā
will we
لَفِى certainly be in lafī
certainly be in
خَلْقٍۢ a creation khalqin
a creation
جَدِيدٍۭ ۚ new jadīdin
new
بَلْ Nay bal
Nay
هُم they hum
they
بِلِقَآءِ in (the) meeting biliqāi
in (the) meeting
رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord rabbihim
(of) their Lord
كَـٰفِرُونَ (are) disbelievers kāfirūna
(are) disbelievers
١٠ (10)
(10)
And they say, "When we are lost [i.e., disintegrated] within the earth, will we indeed be [recreated] in a new creation?" Rather, they are, in the meeting with their Lord, disbelievers.
٣٢:١١
۞ قُلْ Say qul
Say
يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم Will take your soul yatawaffākum
Will take your soul
مَّلَكُ (the) Angel malaku
(the) Angel
ٱلْمَوْتِ (of) the death l-mawti
(of) the death
ٱلَّذِى the one who alladhī
the one who
وُكِّلَ has been put in charge wukkila
has been put in charge
بِكُمْ of you bikum
of you
ثُمَّ Then thumma
Then
إِلَىٰ to ilā
to
رَبِّكُمْ your Lord rabbikum
your Lord
تُرْجَعُونَ you will be returned tur'jaʿūna
you will be returned
١١ (11)
(11)
Say, "The angel of death who has been entrusted with you will take you. Then to your Lord you will be returned."
٣٢:١٢
وَلَوْ And if walaw
And if
تَرَىٰٓ you (could) see tarā
you (could) see
إِذِ when idhi
when
ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals l-muj'rimūna
the criminals
نَاكِسُوا۟ (will) hang nākisū
(will) hang
رُءُوسِهِمْ their heads ruūsihim
their heads
عِندَ before ʿinda
before
رَبِّهِمْ their Lord rabbihim
their Lord
رَبَّنَآ Our Lord rabbanā
Our Lord
أَبْصَرْنَا we have seen abṣarnā
we have seen
وَسَمِعْنَا and we have heard wasamiʿ'nā
and we have heard
فَٱرْجِعْنَا so return us fa-ir'jiʿ'nā
so return us
نَعْمَلْ we will do naʿmal
we will do
صَـٰلِحًا righteous (deeds) ṣāliḥan
righteous (deeds)
إِنَّا Indeed, we innā
Indeed, we
مُوقِنُونَ (are now) certain mūqinūna
(are now) certain
١٢ (12)
(12)
If you could but see when the criminals are hanging their heads before their Lord, [saying], "Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so return us [to the world]; we will work righteousness. Indeed, we are [now] certain."
٣٢:١٣
وَلَوْ And if walaw
And if
شِئْنَا We (had) willed shi'nā
We (had) willed
لَـَٔاتَيْنَا surely We (would) have given laātaynā
surely We (would) have given
كُلَّ every kulla
every
نَفْسٍ soul nafsin
soul
هُدَىٰهَا its guidance hudāhā
its guidance
وَلَـٰكِنْ but walākin
but
حَقَّ (is) true ḥaqqa
(is) true
ٱلْقَوْلُ the Word l-qawlu
the Word
مِنِّى from Me minnī
from Me
لَأَمْلَأَنَّ that I will surely fill la-amla-anna
that I will surely fill
جَهَنَّمَ Hell jahannama
Hell
مِنَ with mina
with
ٱلْجِنَّةِ the jinn l-jinati
the jinn
وَٱلنَّاسِ and the men wal-nāsi
and the men
أَجْمَعِينَ together ajmaʿīna
together
١٣ (13)
(13)
And if We had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together.
٣٢:١٤
فَذُوقُوا۟ So taste fadhūqū
So taste
بِمَا because bimā
because
نَسِيتُمْ you forgot nasītum
you forgot
لِقَآءَ (the) meeting liqāa
(the) meeting
يَوْمِكُمْ (of) this Day of yours yawmikum
(of) this Day of yours
هَـٰذَآ (of) this Day of yours hādhā
(of) this Day of yours
إِنَّا Indeed, We innā
Indeed, We
نَسِينَـٰكُمْ ۖ have forgotten you nasīnākum
have forgotten you
وَذُوقُوا۟ And taste wadhūqū
And taste
عَذَابَ (the) punishment ʿadhāba
(the) punishment
ٱلْخُلْدِ (of) eternity l-khul'di
(of) eternity
بِمَا for what bimā
for what
كُنتُمْ you used (to) kuntum
you used (to)
تَعْمَلُونَ do taʿmalūna
do
١٤ (14)
(14)
So taste [punishment] because you forgot the meeting of this, your Day; indeed, We have [accordingly] forgotten you. And taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do."
٣٢:١٥
إِنَّمَا Only innamā
Only
يُؤْمِنُ believe yu'minu
believe
بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا in Our Verses biāyātinā
in Our Verses
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
إِذَا when idhā
when
ذُكِّرُوا۟ they are reminded dhukkirū
they are reminded
بِهَا of them bihā
of them
خَرُّوا۟ fall down kharrū
fall down
سُجَّدًۭا prostrating sujjadan
prostrating
وَسَبَّحُوا۟ and glorify wasabbaḥū
and glorify
بِحَمْدِ (the) praises biḥamdi
(the) praises
رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord rabbihim
(of) their Lord
وَهُمْ and they wahum
and they
لَا are not arrogant
are not arrogant
يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ ۩ are not arrogant yastakbirūna
are not arrogant
١٥ (15)
(15)
Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration and exalt [Allāh] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant.
٣٢:١٦
تَتَجَافَىٰ Forsake tatajāfā
Forsake
جُنُوبُهُمْ their sides junūbuhum
their sides
عَنِ from ʿani
from
ٱلْمَضَاجِعِ (their) beds l-maḍājiʿi
(their) beds
يَدْعُونَ they call yadʿūna
they call
رَبَّهُمْ their Lord rabbahum
their Lord
خَوْفًۭا (in) fear khawfan
(in) fear
وَطَمَعًۭا and hope waṭamaʿan
and hope
وَمِمَّا and out of what wamimmā
and out of what
رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ We have provided them razaqnāhum
We have provided them
يُنفِقُونَ they spend yunfiqūna
they spend
١٦ (16)
(16)
Their sides part [i.e., they arise] from [their] beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration, and from what We have provided them, they spend.
٣٢:١٧
فَلَا And not falā
And not
تَعْلَمُ knows taʿlamu
knows
نَفْسٌۭ a soul nafsun
a soul
مَّآ what
what
أُخْفِىَ is hidden ukh'fiya
is hidden
لَهُم for them lahum
for them
مِّن of min
of
قُرَّةِ (the) comfort qurrati
(the) comfort
أَعْيُنٍۢ (for) the eyes aʿyunin
(for) the eyes
جَزَآءًۢ (as) a reward jazāan
(as) a reward
بِمَا for what bimā
for what
كَانُوا۟ they used (to) kānū
they used (to)
يَعْمَلُونَ do yaʿmalūna
do
١٧ (17)
(17)
And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes [i.e., satisfaction] as reward for what they used to do.
٣٢:١٨
أَفَمَن Then is one who afaman
Then is one who
كَانَ is kāna
is
مُؤْمِنًۭا a believer mu'minan
a believer
كَمَن like (him) who kaman
like (him) who
كَانَ is kāna
is
فَاسِقًۭا ۚ defiantly disobedient fāsiqan
defiantly disobedient
لَّا Not
Not
يَسْتَوُۥنَ they are equal yastawūna
they are equal
١٨ (18)
(18)
Then is one who was a believer like one who was defiantly disobedient? They are not equal.
٣٢:١٩
أَمَّا As for ammā
As for
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
ءَامَنُوا۟ believe āmanū
believe
وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do waʿamilū
and do
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ righteous deeds l-ṣāliḥāti
righteous deeds
فَلَهُمْ then for them falahum
then for them
جَنَّـٰتُ (are) Gardens jannātu
(are) Gardens
ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ (of) Refuge l-mawā
(of) Refuge
نُزُلًۢا (as) hospitality nuzulan
(as) hospitality
بِمَا for what bimā
for what
كَانُوا۟ they used (to) kānū
they used (to)
يَعْمَلُونَ do yaʿmalūna
do
١٩ (19)
(19)
As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them will be the Gardens of Refuge as accommodation for what they used to do.
٣٢:٢٠
وَأَمَّا But as for wa-ammā
But as for
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
فَسَقُوا۟ are defiantly disobedient fasaqū
are defiantly disobedient
فَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ then their refuge famawāhumu
then their refuge
ٱلنَّارُ ۖ (is) the Fire l-nāru
(is) the Fire
كُلَّمَآ Every time kullamā
Every time
أَرَادُوٓا۟ they wish arādū
they wish
أَن to an
to
يَخْرُجُوا۟ come out yakhrujū
come out
مِنْهَآ from it min'hā
from it
أُعِيدُوا۟ they (will) be returned uʿīdū
they (will) be returned
فِيهَا in it fīhā
in it
وَقِيلَ and it (will) be said waqīla
and it (will) be said
لَهُمْ to them lahum
to them
ذُوقُوا۟ Taste dhūqū
Taste
عَذَابَ (the) punishment ʿadhāba
(the) punishment
ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire l-nāri
(of) the Fire
ٱلَّذِى which alladhī
which
كُنتُم you used (to) kuntum
you used (to)
بِهِۦ [in it] bihi
[in it]
تُكَذِّبُونَ deny tukadhibūna
deny
٢٠ (20)
(20)
But as for those who defiantly disobeyed, their refuge is the Fire. Every time they wish to emerge from it, they will be returned to it while it is said to them, "Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny."
٣٢:٢١
وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم And surely, We will let them taste walanudhīqannahum
And surely, We will let them taste
مِّنَ of mina
of
ٱلْعَذَابِ the punishment l-ʿadhābi
the punishment
ٱلْأَدْنَىٰ the nearer l-adnā
the nearer
دُونَ before dūna
before
ٱلْعَذَابِ the punishment l-ʿadhābi
the punishment
ٱلْأَكْبَرِ the greater l-akbari
the greater
لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may laʿallahum
so that they may
يَرْجِعُونَ return yarjiʿūna
return
٢١ (21)
(21)
And We will surely let them taste the nearer punishment short of the greater punishment that perhaps they will return [i.e., repent].
٣٢:٢٢
وَمَنْ And who waman
And who
أَظْلَمُ (is) more unjust aẓlamu
(is) more unjust
مِمَّن than (he) who mimman
than (he) who
ذُكِّرَ is reminded dhukkira
is reminded
بِـَٔايَـٰتِ of (the) Verses biāyāti
of (the) Verses
رَبِّهِۦ (of) his Lord rabbihi
(of) his Lord
ثُمَّ then thumma
then
أَعْرَضَ he turns away aʿraḍa
he turns away
عَنْهَآ ۚ from them ʿanhā
from them
إِنَّا Indeed, We innā
Indeed, We
مِنَ from mina
from
ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ the criminals l-muj'rimīna
the criminals
مُنتَقِمُونَ (will) take retribution muntaqimūna
(will) take retribution
٢٢ (22)
(22)
And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord; then he turns away from them? Indeed We, from the criminals, will take retribution.
٣٢:٢٣
وَلَقَدْ And certainly walaqad
And certainly
ءَاتَيْنَا We gave ātaynā
We gave
مُوسَى Musa mūsā
Musa
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ the Scripture l-kitāba
the Scripture
فَلَا so (do) not falā
so (do) not
تَكُن be takun
be
فِى in
in
مِرْيَةٍۢ doubt mir'yatin
doubt
مِّن about min
about
لِّقَآئِهِۦ ۖ receiving it liqāihi
receiving it
وَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ And We made it wajaʿalnāhu
And We made it
هُدًۭى a guide hudan
a guide
لِّبَنِىٓ for the Children of Israel libanī
for the Children of Israel
إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ for the Children of Israel is'rāīla
for the Children of Israel
٢٣ (23)
(23)
And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture, so do not be in doubt over his meeting. And We made it [i.e., the Torah] guidance for the Children of Israel.
٣٢:٢٤
وَجَعَلْنَا And We made wajaʿalnā
And We made
مِنْهُمْ from them min'hum
from them
أَئِمَّةًۭ leaders a-immatan
leaders
يَهْدُونَ guiding yahdūna
guiding
بِأَمْرِنَا by Our Command bi-amrinā
by Our Command
لَمَّا when lammā
when
صَبَرُوا۟ ۖ they were patient ṣabarū
they were patient
وَكَانُوا۟ and they were wakānū
and they were
بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا of Our Verses biāyātinā
of Our Verses
يُوقِنُونَ certain yūqinūna
certain
٢٤ (24)
(24)
And We made from among them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient and [when] they were certain of Our signs.
٣٢:٢٥
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
رَبَّكَ your Lord rabbaka
your Lord
هُوَ [He] huwa
[He]
يَفْصِلُ will judge yafṣilu
will judge
بَيْنَهُمْ between them baynahum
between them
يَوْمَ (on the) Day yawma
(on the) Day
ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ (of) Resurrection l-qiyāmati
(of) Resurrection
فِيمَا in what fīmā
in what
كَانُوا۟ they used (to) kānū
they used (to)
فِيهِ [in it] fīhi
[in it]
يَخْتَلِفُونَ differ yakhtalifūna
differ
٢٥ (25)
(25)
Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.
٣٢:٢٦
أَوَلَمْ Does it not awalam
Does it not
يَهْدِ guide yahdi
guide
لَهُمْ [for] them lahum
[for] them
كَمْ (that) how many kam
(that) how many
أَهْلَكْنَا We have destroyed ahlaknā
We have destroyed
مِن before them min
before them
قَبْلِهِم before them qablihim
before them
مِّنَ of mina
of
ٱلْقُرُونِ the generations l-qurūni
the generations
يَمْشُونَ they walk about yamshūna
they walk about
فِى in
in
مَسَـٰكِنِهِمْ ۚ their dwellings masākinihim
their dwellings
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
فِى in
in
ذَٰلِكَ that dhālika
that
لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ ۖ surely, are Signs laāyātin
surely, are Signs
أَفَلَا Then do not afalā
Then do not
يَسْمَعُونَ they hear yasmaʿūna
they hear
٢٦ (26)
(26)
Has it not become clear to them how many generations We destroyed before them, [as] they walk among their dwellings? Indeed in that are signs; then do they not hear?
٣٢:٢٧
أَوَلَمْ Do not awalam
Do not
يَرَوْا۟ they see yaraw
they see
أَنَّا that We annā
that We
نَسُوقُ drive nasūqu
drive
ٱلْمَآءَ water l-māa
water
إِلَى to ilā
to
ٱلْأَرْضِ the land l-arḍi
the land
ٱلْجُرُزِ [the] barren l-juruzi
[the] barren
فَنُخْرِجُ then We bring forth fanukh'riju
then We bring forth
بِهِۦ thereby bihi
thereby
زَرْعًۭا crops zarʿan
crops
تَأْكُلُ eat takulu
eat
مِنْهُ from it min'hu
from it
أَنْعَـٰمُهُمْ their cattle anʿāmuhum
their cattle
وَأَنفُسُهُمْ ۖ and they themselves wa-anfusuhum
and they themselves
أَفَلَا Then do not afalā
Then do not
يُبْصِرُونَ they see yub'ṣirūna
they see
٢٧ (27)
(27)
Have they not seen that We drive water [in clouds] to barren land and bring forth thereby crops from which their livestock eat and [they] themselves? Then do they not see?
٣٢:٢٨
وَيَقُولُونَ And they say wayaqūlūna
And they say
مَتَىٰ When (will be) matā
When (will be)
هَـٰذَا this hādhā
this
ٱلْفَتْحُ decision l-fatḥu
decision

٢٨ (28)
(28)
And they say, "When will be this conquest, if you should be truthful?"
٣٢:٢٩
قُلْ Say qul
Say
يَوْمَ (On the) Day yawma
(On the) Day
ٱلْفَتْحِ (of) the Decision l-fatḥi
(of) the Decision
لَا not
not
يَنفَعُ will benefit yanfaʿu
will benefit
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
كَفَرُوٓا۟ disbelieve kafarū
disbelieve
إِيمَـٰنُهُمْ their belief īmānuhum
their belief
وَلَا and not walā
and not
هُمْ they hum
they
يُنظَرُونَ will be granted respite yunẓarūna
will be granted respite
٢٩ (29)
(29)
Say, [O Muḥammad], "On the Day of Conquest the belief of those who had disbelieved will not benefit them, nor will they be reprieved."
٣٢:٣٠
فَأَعْرِضْ So turn away fa-aʿriḍ
So turn away
عَنْهُمْ from them ʿanhum
from them
وَٱنتَظِرْ and wait wa-intaẓir
and wait
إِنَّهُم Indeed, they innahum
Indeed, they
مُّنتَظِرُونَ (are) waiting muntaẓirūna
(are) waiting
٣٠ (30)
(30)
So turn away from them and wait. Indeed, they are waiting.
