Mecquoise 83 Versets Juz 22

يس

Bismillah

بِسْمِ In (the) name ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ the Most Gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِ the Most Merciful

Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux

36:1

يسٓ Ya Seen ١ (1)

Yâ-Sîn.

36:2

وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ By the Quran ٱلْحَكِيمِ the Wise ٢ (2)

Par le Coran plein de sagesse.

36:3

إِنَّكَ Indeed, you لَمِنَ (are) among ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ the Messengers ٣ (3)

Tu (Mohammed) es certes du nombre des messagers.

36:4

عَلَىٰ On صِرَٰطٍۢ a Path مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ Straight ٤ (4)

sur un chemin droit.

36:5

تَنزِيلَ A revelation ٱلْعَزِيزِ (of) the All-Mighty ٱلرَّحِيمِ the Most Merciful ٥ (5)

C’est une révélation de la part du Tout-Puissant, du Très Miséricordieux.

36:6

لِتُنذِرَ That you may warn قَوْمًۭا a people مَّآ not أُنذِرَ were warned ءَابَآؤُهُمْ their forefathers فَهُمْ so they غَـٰفِلُونَ (are) heedless ٦ (6)

Pour que tu avertisses un peuple dont les ancêtres n’ont pas été avertis: ils sont donc insouciants.

36:7

لَقَدْ Certainly حَقَّ (has) proved true ٱلْقَوْلُ the word عَلَىٰٓ upon أَكْثَرِهِمْ most of them فَهُمْ so they لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe ٧ (7)

En effet, la Parole contre la plupart d’entre eux s’est réalisée: ils ne croiront donc pas.

36:8

إِنَّا Indeed, We جَعَلْنَا [We] have placed فِىٓ on أَعْنَـٰقِهِمْ their necks أَغْلَـٰلًۭا iron collars فَهِىَ and they إِلَى (are up) to ٱلْأَذْقَانِ the chins فَهُم so they مُّقْمَحُونَ (are with) heads raised up ٨ (8)

Nous mettrons des carcans à leurs cous, et il y en aura jusqu’aux mentons: et voilà qu’ils iront têtes dressées.

36:9

وَجَعَلْنَا And We have made مِنۢ from بَيْنِ before/between أَيْدِيهِمْ their hands/their front سَدًّۭا a barrier وَمِنْ and from خَلْفِهِمْ behind them سَدًّۭا a barrier فَأَغْشَيْنَـٰهُمْ and We covered them فَهُمْ so they لَا (do) not يُبْصِرُونَ see ٩ (9)

et Nous mettrons une barrière devant eux et une barrière derrière eux; Nous les recouvrirons d’un voile : et voilà qu’ils ne pourront rien voir.

36:10

وَسَوَآءٌ And it (is) same عَلَيْهِمْ to them ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ whether you warn them أَمْ or لَمْ (do) not تُنذِرْهُمْ warn them لَا not يُؤْمِنُونَ they will believe ١٠ (10)

Cela leur est égal que tu les avertisses ou que tu ne les avertisses pas : ils ne croiront jamais.

36:11

إِنَّمَا Only تُنذِرُ you (can) warn مَنِ (him) who ٱتَّبَعَ follows ٱلذِّكْرَ the Reminder وَخَشِىَ and fears ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَ the Most Gracious بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۖ in the unseen فَبَشِّرْهُ So give him glad tidings بِمَغْفِرَةٍۢ of forgiveness وَأَجْرٍۢ and a reward كَرِيمٍ noble ١١ (11)

Tu avertis seulement celui qui suit le Rappel (le Coran), et craint le Tout Miséricordieux, malgré qu’il ne Le voit pas. Annonce-lui un pardon et une récompense généreuse.

36:12

إِنَّا Indeed, We نَحْنُ [We] نُحْىِ [We] give life ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ (to) the dead وَنَكْتُبُ and We record مَا what قَدَّمُوا۟ they have sent before وَءَاثَـٰرَهُمْ ۚ and their footprints وَكُلَّ and every شَىْءٍ thing أَحْصَيْنَـٰهُ We have enumerated it فِىٓ in إِمَامٍۢ a Register مُّبِينٍۢ clear ١٢ (12)

C’est Nous qui ressuscitons les morts et écrivons ce qu’ils ont fait [pour l’au-delà] ainsi que leurs traces . Et Nous avons dénombré toute chose dans un registre explicite.

36:13

وَٱضْرِبْ And set forth لَهُم to them مَّثَلًا an example أَصْحَـٰبَ (of the) companions ٱلْقَرْيَةِ (of) the city إِذْ when جَآءَهَا came to it ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ the Messengers ١٣ (13)

Donne-leur comme exemple les habitants de la cité, quand leur vinrent les Envoyés .

36:14

إِذْ When أَرْسَلْنَآ We sent إِلَيْهِمُ to them ٱثْنَيْنِ two (Messengers) فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا but they denied both of them فَعَزَّزْنَا so We strengthened them بِثَالِثٍۢ with a third فَقَالُوٓا۟ and they said إِنَّآ Indeed, We إِلَيْكُم to you مُّرْسَلُونَ (are) Messengers ١٤ (14)

Quand Nous leur envoyâmes deux [envoyés] et qu’ils les traitèrent de menteurs. Nous [les] renforçâmes alors par un troisième et ils dirent : "Vraiment, nous sommes envoyés à vous."

36:15

قَالُوا۟ They said مَآ Not أَنتُمْ you إِلَّا (are) but بَشَرٌۭ human beings مِّثْلُنَا like us وَمَآ and not أَنزَلَ has revealed ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ the Most Gracious مِن any شَىْءٍ thing إِنْ Not أَنتُمْ you إِلَّا (are) but تَكْذِبُونَ lying ١٥ (15)

Mais ils [les gens] dirent : "Vous n’êtes que des hommes comme nous. Le Tout Miséricordieux n’a rien fait descendre et vous ne faites que mentir."

36:16

قَالُوا۟ They said رَبُّنَا Our Lord يَعْلَمُ knows إِنَّآ that we إِلَيْكُمْ to you لَمُرْسَلُونَ (are) surely Messengers ١٦ (16)

Ils [les Messagers] dirent : "Notre Seigneur sait qu’en vérité nous sommes envoyés à vous.

36:17

وَمَا And not عَلَيْنَآ (is) on us إِلَّا except ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ the conveyance ٱلْمُبِينُ clear ١٧ (17)

et il ne nous incombe que de transmettre clairement (notre message)."

36:18

قَالُوٓا۟ They said إِنَّا Indeed, we تَطَيَّرْنَا [we] see an evil omen بِكُمْ ۖ from you لَئِن If لَّمْ not تَنتَهُوا۟ you desist لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ surely, we will stone you وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم and surely will touch you مِّنَّا from us عَذَابٌ a punishment أَلِيمٌۭ painful ١٨ (18)

Ils dirent : "Nous voyons en vous un mauvais présage. Si vous ne cessez pas, nous vous lapideront et un douloureux châtiment de notre part vous touchera."

36:19

قَالُوا۟ They said طَـٰٓئِرُكُم Your evil omen مَّعَكُمْ ۚ (be) with you أَئِن Is it because ذُكِّرْتُم ۚ you are admonished بَلْ Nay أَنتُمْ you قَوْمٌۭ (are) a people مُّسْرِفُونَ transgressing ١٩ (19)

Ils dirent : "Votre mauvais présage est avec vous-mêmes. Est-ce ainsi [que vous agissez] quand le rappel vous est fait ? Vous êtes assurément des gens outranciers !"

36:20

وَجَآءَ And came مِنْ from أَقْصَا (the) farthest end ٱلْمَدِينَةِ (of) the city رَجُلٌۭ a man يَسْعَىٰ running قَالَ He said يَـٰقَوْمِ O my People ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ Follow ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ the Messengers ٢٠ (20)

Et du bout de la ville, un homme vint en toute hâte et il dit : "Ô mon peuple ! Suivez les Messagers :

36:21

ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ Follow مَن (those) who لَّا (do) not يَسْـَٔلُكُمْ ask (of) you أَجْرًۭا any payment وَهُم and they مُّهْتَدُونَ (are) rightly guided ٢١ (21)

suivez ceux qui ne vous demandent aucun salaire et qui sont sur la bonne voie.

36:22

وَمَا And what لِىَ (is) for me لَآ (that) not أَعْبُدُ I worship ٱلَّذِى the One Who فَطَرَنِى created me وَإِلَيْهِ and to Whom تُرْجَعُونَ you will be returned ٢٢ (22)

et qu’aurais-je à ne pas adorer Celui qui m’a créé ? Et c’est vers Lui que vous serez ramenés.

36:23

ءَأَتَّخِذُ Should I take مِن besides Him دُونِهِۦٓ besides Him ءَالِهَةً gods إِن If يُرِدْنِ intends for me ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ the Most Gracious بِضُرٍّۢ any harm لَّا not تُغْنِ will avail عَنِّى [from] me شَفَـٰعَتُهُمْ their intercession شَيْـًۭٔا (in) anything وَلَا and not يُنقِذُونِ they (can) save me ٢٣ (23)

Prendrais-je en dehors de Lui des divinités ? Si le Tout Miséricordieux me veut du mal, leur intercession ne me servira à rien et ils ne me sauveront pas.

36:24

إِنِّىٓ Indeed, I إِذًۭا then لَّفِى surely would be in ضَلَـٰلٍۢ an error مُّبِينٍ clear ٢٤ (24)

Je serais alors dans un égarement évident.

36:25

إِنِّىٓ Indeed, I ءَامَنتُ [I] have believed بِرَبِّكُمْ in your Lord فَٱسْمَعُونِ so listen to me ٢٥ (25)

[Mais] je crois en votre Seigneur, Ecoutez-moi donc."

36:26

قِيلَ It was said ٱدْخُلِ Enter ٱلْجَنَّةَ ۖ Paradise قَالَ He said يَـٰلَيْتَ I wish قَوْمِى my people يَعْلَمُونَ knew ٢٦ (26)

Alors il [lui] fut dit : "Entre au Paradis." Il dit : "Ah si seulement mon peuple savait !

36:27

بِمَا Of how غَفَرَ has forgiven لِى me رَبِّى my Lord وَجَعَلَنِى and placed me مِنَ among ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ the honored ones ٢٧ (27)

... en raison de quoi mon Seigneur m’a pardonné et mis au nombre des honorés."

36:28

۞ وَمَآ And not أَنزَلْنَا We sent down عَلَىٰ upon قَوْمِهِۦ his people مِنۢ after him بَعْدِهِۦ after him مِن any جُندٍۢ host مِّنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heaven وَمَا and not كُنَّا were We مُنزِلِينَ (to) send down ٢٨ (28)

Et après lui Nous ne fîmes descendre du ciel aucune armée. Nous ne voulions rien faire descendre sur son peuple.

36:29

إِن Not كَانَتْ it was إِلَّا but صَيْحَةًۭ a shout وَٰحِدَةًۭ one فَإِذَا then behold هُمْ They خَـٰمِدُونَ (were) extinguished ٢٩ (29)

Ce ne fut qu’un seul Cri et les voilà éteints.

36:30

يَـٰحَسْرَةً Alas عَلَى for ٱلْعِبَادِ ۚ the servants مَا Not يَأْتِيهِم came to them مِّن any رَّسُولٍ Messenger إِلَّا but كَانُوا۟ they did بِهِۦ mock at him يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ mock at him ٣٠ (30)

Hélas pour les esclaves [les humains]! Jamais il ne leur vient de messager sans qu’ils ne s’en raillent.

36:31

أَلَمْ Do not يَرَوْا۟ they see كَمْ how many أَهْلَكْنَا We destroyed قَبْلَهُم before them مِّنَ of ٱلْقُرُونِ the generations أَنَّهُمْ That they إِلَيْهِمْ to them لَا will not return يَرْجِعُونَ will not return ٣١ (31)

Ne voient-ils pas combien de générations avant eux Nous avons fait périr ? Lesquelles ne retourneront jamais parmi eux.

36:32

وَإِن And surely كُلٌّۭ all لَّمَّا then جَمِيعٌۭ together لَّدَيْنَا before Us مُحْضَرُونَ (will be) brought ٣٢ (32)

Et tous sans exception comparaîtront devant Nous.

36:33

وَءَايَةٌۭ And a Sign لَّهُمُ for them ٱلْأَرْضُ (is) the earth ٱلْمَيْتَةُ dead أَحْيَيْنَـٰهَا We give it life وَأَخْرَجْنَا and We bring forth مِنْهَا from it حَبًّۭا grain فَمِنْهُ and from it يَأْكُلُونَ they eat ٣٣ (33)

Une preuve pour eux est la terre morte, à laquelle Nous redonnons la vie, et d’où Nous faisons sortir des grains dont ils mangent.

36:34

وَجَعَلْنَا And We placed فِيهَا therein جَنَّـٰتٍۢ gardens مِّن of نَّخِيلٍۢ date-palms وَأَعْنَـٰبٍۢ and grapevines وَفَجَّرْنَا and We caused to gush forth فِيهَا in it مِنَ of ٱلْعُيُونِ the springs ٣٤ (34)

Nous y avons mis des jardins de palmiers et de vignes et y avons fait jaillir des sources,

36:35

لِيَأْكُلُوا۟ That they may eat مِن of ثَمَرِهِۦ its fruit وَمَا And not عَمِلَتْهُ made it أَيْدِيهِمْ ۖ their hands أَفَلَا So will not يَشْكُرُونَ they be grateful ٣٥ (35)

afin qu’ils mangent de Ses fruits et de ce que leurs mains ont produit . Ne seront-ils pas reconnaissants?

36:36

سُبْحَـٰنَ Glory be ٱلَّذِى (to) the One Who خَلَقَ created ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ (in) pairs كُلَّهَا all مِمَّا of what تُنۢبِتُ grows ٱلْأَرْضُ the earth وَمِنْ and of أَنفُسِهِمْ themselves وَمِمَّا and of what لَا not يَعْلَمُونَ they know ٣٦ (36)

Louange à Celui qui a créé tous les couples de ce que la terre fait pousser, d’eux-mêmes, et de ce qu’ils ne savent pas !

36:37

وَءَايَةٌۭ And a Sign لَّهُمُ for them ٱلَّيْلُ (is) the night نَسْلَخُ We withdraw مِنْهُ from it ٱلنَّهَارَ the day فَإِذَا Then behold هُم They مُّظْلِمُونَ (are) those in darkness ٣٧ (37)

Et une preuve pour eux est la nuit, dont Nous dépouillons le jour, et les voilà alors dans les ténèbres.

36:38

وَٱلشَّمْسُ And the sun تَجْرِى runs لِمُسْتَقَرٍّۢ to a term appointed لَّهَا ۚ for it ذَٰلِكَ That تَقْدِيرُ (is the) Decree ٱلْعَزِيزِ (of) the All-Mighty ٱلْعَلِيمِ the All-Knowing ٣٨ (38)

et le soleil court vers un gîte qui lui est assigné; telle est la détermination du Tout-Puissant, de l’Omniscient.

36:39

وَٱلْقَمَرَ And the moon قَدَّرْنَـٰهُ We have ordained for it مَنَازِلَ phases حَتَّىٰ until عَادَ it returns كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ like the date stalk ٱلْقَدِيمِ the old ٣٩ (39)

Et la lune, Nous lui avons déterminé des phases jusqu’à ce qu’elle devienne comme la palme vieillie .

36:40

لَا Not ٱلشَّمْسُ the sun يَنۢبَغِى is permitted لَهَآ for it أَن that تُدْرِكَ it overtakes ٱلْقَمَرَ the moon وَلَا and not ٱلَّيْلُ the night سَابِقُ (can) outstrip ٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ the day وَكُلٌّۭ but all فِى in فَلَكٍۢ an orbit يَسْبَحُونَ they are floating ٤٠ (40)

Le soleil ne peut rattraper la lune, ni la nuit devancer le jour ; et chacun vogue dans une orbite.

36:41

وَءَايَةٌۭ And a Sign لَّهُمْ for them أَنَّا (is) that حَمَلْنَا We carried ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ their offspring فِى in ٱلْفُلْكِ the ship ٱلْمَشْحُونِ laden ٤١ (41)

Et un (autre) signe pour eux est que Nous avons transporté leur descendance sur le bateau chargé ;

36:42

وَخَلَقْنَا And We created لَهُم for them مِّن from مِّثْلِهِۦ (the) likes of it مَا what يَرْكَبُونَ they ride ٤٢ (42)

et Nous leur créâmes des semblables sur lesquels ils montent.

36:43

وَإِن And if نَّشَأْ We will نُغْرِقْهُمْ We could drown them فَلَا then not صَرِيخَ (would be) a responder to a cry لَهُمْ for them وَلَا and not هُمْ they يُنقَذُونَ would be saved ٤٣ (43)

Et si Nous le voulons, Nous les noyons; pour eux alors, pas de secoureur et ils ne seront pas sauvés,

36:44

إِلَّا Except رَحْمَةًۭ (by) Mercy مِّنَّا from Us وَمَتَـٰعًا and provision إِلَىٰ for حِينٍۢ a time ٤٤ (44)

sauf par une miséricorde de Notre part, et à titre de jouissance pour un temps.

36:45

وَإِذَا And when قِيلَ it is said لَهُمُ to them ٱتَّقُوا۟ Fear مَا what بَيْنَ (is) before you أَيْدِيكُمْ (is) before you وَمَا and what خَلْفَكُمْ (is) behind you لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تُرْحَمُونَ receive mercy ٤٥ (45)

Et quand on leur dit : "Craignez ce qu’il y a devant vous et ce qu’il y a derrière vous afin que vous ayez la miséricorde !"

36:46

وَمَا And not تَأْتِيهِم comes to them مِّنْ of ءَايَةٍۢ a Sign مِّنْ from ءَايَـٰتِ (the) Signs رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord إِلَّا but كَانُوا۟ they عَنْهَا from it مُعْرِضِينَ turn away ٤٦ (46)

Or, pas une preuve ne leur vient, parmi les preuves de leur Seigneur sans qu’ils ne s’en détournent.

36:47

وَإِذَا And when قِيلَ it is said لَهُمْ to them أَنفِقُوا۟ Spend مِمَّا from what رَزَقَكُمُ (has) provided you ٱللَّهُ Allah قَالَ Said ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved لِلَّذِينَ to those who ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believed أَنُطْعِمُ Should we feed مَن whom لَّوْ if يَشَآءُ Allah willed ٱللَّهُ Allah willed أَطْعَمَهُۥٓ He would have fed him إِنْ Not أَنتُمْ (are) you إِلَّا except فِى in ضَلَـٰلٍۢ an error مُّبِينٍۢ clear ٤٧ (47)

Et quand on leur dit : "Dépensez de ce qu’Allah vous a attribué", ceux qui ont mécru disent à ceux qui ont cru : "Nourrirons- nous quelqu’un qu’Allah aurait nourri s’Il avait voulu ? Vous n’êtes que dans un égarement évident."

36:48

وَيَقُولُونَ And they say مَتَىٰ When (is) هَـٰذَا this ٱلْوَعْدُ promise إِن if كُنتُمْ you are صَـٰدِقِينَ truthful ٤٨ (48)

Et ils disent : "A quand cette promesse si vous êtes véridiques ?"

36:49

مَا Not يَنظُرُونَ they await إِلَّا except صَيْحَةًۭ a shout وَٰحِدَةًۭ one تَأْخُذُهُمْ it will seize them وَهُمْ while they يَخِصِّمُونَ are disputing ٤٩ (49)

Ils n’attendent qu’un seul Cri qui les saisira alors qu’ils seront en train de disputer.

36:50

فَلَا Then not يَسْتَطِيعُونَ they will be able تَوْصِيَةًۭ (to) make a will وَلَآ and not إِلَىٰٓ to أَهْلِهِمْ their people يَرْجِعُونَ they (can) return ٥٠ (50)

Ils ne pourront donc ni faire de testament, ni retourner chez leurs familles.

36:51

وَنُفِخَ And will be blown فِى [in] ٱلصُّورِ the trumpet فَإِذَا and behold هُم They مِّنَ from ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ the graves إِلَىٰ to رَبِّهِمْ their Lord يَنسِلُونَ [they] will hasten ٥١ (51)

Et on soufflera dans la Trompe, et voilà que, des tombes, ils se précipiteront vers leur Seigneur,

36:52

قَالُوا۟ They [will] say يَـٰوَيْلَنَا O woe to us مَنۢ Who بَعَثَنَا has raised us مِن from مَّرْقَدِنَا ۜ ۗ our sleeping place هَـٰذَا This (is) مَا What وَعَدَ (had) promised ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ the Most Gracious وَصَدَقَ and told (the) truth ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ the Messengers ٥٢ (52)

en disant : "Malheur à nous ! Qui nous a ressuscités de là où nous dormions ?" C’est ce que le Tout Miséricordieux avait promis; et les Messagers avaient dit vrai.

36:53

إِن Not كَانَتْ it will be إِلَّا but صَيْحَةًۭ a shout وَٰحِدَةًۭ single فَإِذَا so behold هُمْ They جَمِيعٌۭ all لَّدَيْنَا before Us مُحْضَرُونَ (will be) brought ٥٣ (53)

Ce ne sera qu’un seul Cri, et voilà qu’ils seront tous amenés devant Nous.

36:54

فَٱلْيَوْمَ So this Day لَا not تُظْلَمُ will be wronged نَفْسٌۭ a soul شَيْـًۭٔا (in) anything وَلَا and not تُجْزَوْنَ you will be recompensed إِلَّا except مَا (for) what كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَعْمَلُونَ do ٥٤ (54)

Ce jour-là, aucune âme ne sera lésée en rien. Et vous ne serez rétribués que selon ce que vous faisiez.

36:55

إِنَّ Indeed أَصْحَـٰبَ (the) companions ٱلْجَنَّةِ (of) Paradise ٱلْيَوْمَ this Day فِى [in] شُغُلٍۢ will be occupied فَـٰكِهُونَ (in) amusement ٥٥ (55)

Les gens du Paradis seront, ce jour-là, dans une occupation qui les remplira de bonheur ;

36:56

هُمْ They وَأَزْوَٰجُهُمْ and their spouses فِى in ظِلَـٰلٍ shades عَلَى on ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ [the] couches مُتَّكِـُٔونَ reclining ٥٦ (56)

eux et leurs épouses seront sous des ombrages, accoudés sur les divans.

36:57

لَهُمْ For them فِيهَا therein فَـٰكِهَةٌۭ (are) fruits وَلَهُم and for them مَّا (is) whatever يَدَّعُونَ they call for ٥٧ (57)

Là ils auront des fruits et ils auront ce qu’ils réclameront,

36:58

سَلَـٰمٌۭ Peace قَوْلًۭا A word مِّن from رَّبٍّۢ a Lord رَّحِيمٍۢ Most Merciful ٥٨ (58)

"Paix [Salâm] !" Parole de la part d’un Seigneur Très Miséricordieux.

36:59

وَٱمْتَـٰزُوا۟ But stand apart ٱلْيَوْمَ today أَيُّهَا O criminals ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ O criminals ٥٩ (59)

"Ô injustes ! Tenez-vous à l’écart ce jour- là !

36:60

۞ أَلَمْ Did not أَعْهَدْ I enjoin إِلَيْكُمْ upon you يَـٰبَنِىٓ O Children of Adam ءَادَمَ O Children of Adam أَن That لَّا (do) not تَعْبُدُوا۟ worship ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَ ۖ the Shaitaan إِنَّهُۥ indeed, he لَكُمْ (is) for you عَدُوٌّۭ an enemy مُّبِينٌۭ clear ٦٠ (60)

Ne vous ai-Je pas engagés, enfants d’Adam, à ne pas adorer le Diable ? Car il est vraiment pour vous un ennemi déclaré,

36:61

وَأَنِ And that ٱعْبُدُونِى ۚ you worship Me هَـٰذَا This صِرَٰطٌۭ (is) a Path مُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ Straight ٦١ (61)

et [ne vous ai-Je pas engagés] à M’adorer ? Voilà un chemin bien droit.

36:62

وَلَقَدْ And indeed أَضَلَّ he led astray مِنكُمْ from you جِبِلًّۭا a multitude كَثِيرًا ۖ great أَفَلَمْ Then did not تَكُونُوا۟ you تَعْقِلُونَ use reason ٦٢ (62)

Et il a très certainement égaré un grand nombre d’entre vous. Ne raisonniez-vous donc pas ?

36:63

هَـٰذِهِۦ This (is) جَهَنَّمُ (the) Hell ٱلَّتِى which كُنتُمْ you were تُوعَدُونَ promised ٦٣ (63)

Voici l’Enfer qu’on vous promettait.

36:64

ٱصْلَوْهَا Burn therein ٱلْيَوْمَ today بِمَا because كُنتُمْ you used to تَكْفُرُونَ disbelieve ٦٤ (64)

Brûlez-y aujourd’hui, pour avoir mécru."

36:65

ٱلْيَوْمَ This Day نَخْتِمُ We will seal عَلَىٰٓ [on] أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ their mouths وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ and will speak to Us أَيْدِيهِمْ their hands وَتَشْهَدُ and will bear witness أَرْجُلُهُم their feet بِمَا about what كَانُوا۟ they used to يَكْسِبُونَ earn ٦٥ (65)

Ce jour-là, Nous scellerons leurs bouches, tandis que leurs mains Nous parleront et que leurs jambes témoigneront de ce qu’ils avaient accompli.

36:66

وَلَوْ And if نَشَآءُ We willed لَطَمَسْنَا We (would have) surely obliterated عَلَىٰٓ [over] أَعْيُنِهِمْ their eyes فَٱسْتَبَقُوا۟ then they (would) race ٱلصِّرَٰطَ (to find) the path فَأَنَّىٰ then how يُبْصِرُونَ (could) they see ٦٦ (66)

Et si Nous voulions, Nous effacerions leurs yeux et ils courront vers le chemin. Mais comment alors pourront-ils voir ?

36:67

وَلَوْ And if نَشَآءُ We willed لَمَسَخْنَـٰهُمْ surely, We (would have) transformed them عَلَىٰ in مَكَانَتِهِمْ their places فَمَا then not ٱسْتَطَـٰعُوا۟ they would have been able مُضِيًّۭا to proceed وَلَا and not يَرْجِعُونَ return ٦٧ (67)

Et si Nous voulions, Nous les métamorphoserions sur place; alors ils ne sauront ni avancer ni revenir.

36:68

وَمَن And (he) whom نُّعَمِّرْهُ We grant him long life نُنَكِّسْهُ We reverse him فِى in ٱلْخَلْقِ ۖ the creation أَفَلَا Then will not يَعْقِلُونَ they use intellect ٦٨ (68)

A quiconque Nous accordons une longue vie, Nous faisons baisser sa forme. Ne comprennent-ils donc pas ?

36:69

وَمَا And not عَلَّمْنَـٰهُ We taught him ٱلشِّعْرَ [the] poetry وَمَا and not يَنۢبَغِى it is befitting لَهُۥٓ ۚ for him إِنْ Not هُوَ it إِلَّا (is) except ذِكْرٌۭ a Reminder وَقُرْءَانٌۭ and a Quran مُّبِينٌۭ clear ٦٩ (69)

Nous ne lui (à Mohammed) avons pas enseigné la poésie ; cela ne lui convient pas non plus. Ceci n’est qu’un rappel et une Lecture [Coran] claire,

36:70

لِّيُنذِرَ To warn مَن (him) who كَانَ is حَيًّۭا alive وَيَحِقَّ and may be proved true ٱلْقَوْلُ the Word عَلَى against ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers ٧٠ (70)

pour qu’ils avertisse celui qui est vivant et que la Parole se réalise contre les mécréants.

36:71

أَوَلَمْ Do not يَرَوْا۟ they see أَنَّا that We خَلَقْنَا [We] created لَهُم for them مِّمَّا from what عَمِلَتْ have made أَيْدِينَآ Our hands أَنْعَـٰمًۭا cattle فَهُمْ then they لَهَا [for them] مَـٰلِكُونَ (are the) owners ٧١ (71)

Ne voient-ils donc pas que, parmi ce que Nos mains ont fait, Nous leur avons créé des bestiaux dont ils sont propriétaires ;

36:72

وَذَلَّلْنَـٰهَا And We have tamed them لَهُمْ for them فَمِنْهَا so some of them رَكُوبُهُمْ they ride them وَمِنْهَا and some of them يَأْكُلُونَ they eat ٧٢ (72)

et Nous les leurs avons soumis ; certains leur servent de monture et d’autre de nourriture ;

36:73

وَلَهُمْ And for them فِيهَا therein مَنَـٰفِعُ (are) benefits وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ and drinks أَفَلَا so (will) not يَشْكُرُونَ they give thanks ٧٣ (73)

et ils en retirent d’autres utilités et des boissons. Ne seront-ils donc pas reconnaissants ?

36:74

وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ But they have taken مِن besides دُونِ besides ٱللَّهِ Allah ءَالِهَةًۭ gods لَّعَلَّهُمْ that they may يُنصَرُونَ be helped ٧٤ (74)

Et ils adoptèrent des divinités en dehors d’Allah, dans l’espoir d’être secourus...

36:75

لَا Not يَسْتَطِيعُونَ they are able نَصْرَهُمْ to help them وَهُمْ but they لَهُمْ for them جُندٌۭ (are) hosts مُّحْضَرُونَ (who will) be brought ٧٥ (75)

Celles-ci ne pourront pas les secourir, elles formeront au contraire une armée dressée contre eux.

36:76

فَلَا So (let) not يَحْزُنكَ grieve you قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ their speech إِنَّا Indeed, We نَعْلَمُ [We] know مَا what يُسِرُّونَ they conceal وَمَا and what يُعْلِنُونَ they declare ٧٦ (76)

Que leurs paroles ne t’affligent donc pas! Nous savons ce qu’ils cachent et ce qu’ils divulguent.

36:77

أَوَلَمْ Does not يَرَ see ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ [the] man أَنَّا that We خَلَقْنَـٰهُ [We] created him مِن from نُّطْفَةٍۢ a semen-drop فَإِذَا Then behold هُوَ He خَصِيمٌۭ (is) an opponent مُّبِينٌۭ clear ٧٧ (77)

L’homme ne voit-il pas que Nous l’avons créé d’une goutte de sperme? Et le voilà [devenu] un adversaire déclaré !

36:78

وَضَرَبَ And he sets forth لَنَا for Us مَثَلًۭا an example وَنَسِىَ and forgets خَلْقَهُۥ ۖ his (own) creation قَالَ He says مَن Who يُحْىِ will give life ٱلْعِظَـٰمَ (to) the bones وَهِىَ while they رَمِيمٌۭ (are) decomposed ٧٨ (78)

Il cite pour Nous un exemple, tandis qu’il oublie sa propre création; il dit : "Qui va redonner la vie à des ossements une fois réduits en poussière ?"

36:79

قُلْ Say يُحْيِيهَا He will give them life ٱلَّذِىٓ Who أَنشَأَهَآ produced them أَوَّلَ (the) first مَرَّةٍۢ ۖ time وَهُوَ and He بِكُلِّ (is) of every خَلْقٍ creation عَلِيمٌ All-Knower ٧٩ (79)

Dis : "Celui qui les a créés une première fois, leur redonnera la vie. Il connaît parfaitement toute la création ;

36:80

ٱلَّذِى The One Who جَعَلَ made لَكُم for you مِّنَ from ٱلشَّجَرِ the tree ٱلْأَخْضَرِ [the] green نَارًۭا fire فَإِذَآ and behold أَنتُم You مِّنْهُ from it تُوقِدُونَ ignite ٨٠ (80)

c’est Lui qui, de l’arbre vert, a fait pour vous du feu, et voilà que de cela vous allumez.

36:81

أَوَلَيْسَ Is it not ٱلَّذِى (He) Who خَلَقَ created ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth بِقَـٰدِرٍ Able عَلَىٰٓ to أَن [that] يَخْلُقَ create مِثْلَهُم ۚ (the) like of them بَلَىٰ Yes, indeed وَهُوَ and He ٱلْخَلَّـٰقُ (is) the Supreme Creator ٱلْعَلِيمُ the All-Knower ٨١ (81)

Celui qui a créé les cieux et la Terre ne serait-Il pas capable de créer leur pareil ? Oh que si ! et Il est le grand Créateur, l'Omniscient.

36:82

إِنَّمَآ Only أَمْرُهُۥٓ His Command إِذَآ when أَرَادَ He intends شَيْـًٔا a thing أَن that يَقُولَ He says لَهُۥ to it كُن Be فَيَكُونُ and it is ٨٢ (82)

Quand Il veut une chose, Son commandement consiste à dire : "Sois", et c’est.

36:83

فَسُبْحَـٰنَ So glory be ٱلَّذِى (to) the One who بِيَدِهِۦ in Whose hand مَلَكُوتُ is (the) dominion كُلِّ (of) all شَىْءٍۢ things وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him تُرْجَعُونَ you will be returned ٨٣ (83)

Louange donc, à Celui qui détient en sa main la royauté sur toute chose ! Et c’est vers Lui que vous serez ramenés.
