بِسْمِ In (the) name bis'mi
In (the) name
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ the Most Gracious l-raḥmāni
the Most Gracious
ٱلرَّحِيمِ the Most Merciful l-raḥīmi
the Most Merciful
Im Namen Allahs, des Allerbarmers, des Barmherzigen
11:1
الٓر ۚ Alif Lam Ra alif-lam-ra
Alif Lam Ra
كِتَـٰبٌ (This is) a Book kitābun
(This is) a Book
أُحْكِمَتْ are perfected uḥ'kimat
are perfected
ءَايَـٰتُهُۥ its Verses āyātuhu
its Verses
ثُمَّ moreover thumma
moreover
فُصِّلَتْ explained in detail fuṣṣilat
explained in detail
مِن from (he One Who) min
from (he One Who)
لَّدُنْ from (he One Who) ladun
from (he One Who)
حَكِيمٍ (is) All-Wise ḥakīmin
(is) All-Wise
خَبِيرٍ All-Aware khabīrin
All-Aware
١ (1)
(1)
Alif-Lam-Ra. (Dies ist) ein Buch, dessen Zeichen eindeutig festgefügt und hierauf ausführlich dargelegt sind von Seiten eines Allweisen und Allkundigen:
11:2
أَلَّا That "Not allā
That "Not
تَعْبُدُوٓا۟ you worship taʿbudū
you worship
إِلَّا but illā
but
ٱللَّهَ ۚ Allah l-laha
Allah
إِنَّنِى Indeed, I am innanī
Indeed, I am
لَكُم to you lakum
to you
مِّنْهُ from Him min'hu
from Him
نَذِيرٌۭ a warner nadhīrun
a warner
وَبَشِيرٌۭ and a bearer of glad tidings wabashīrun
and a bearer of glad tidings
٢ (2)
(2)
Ihr sollt nur Allah dienen. Gewiß, ich bin euch von Ihm (aus) ein Warner und Frohbote -,
11:3
وَأَنِ And that wa-ani
And that
ٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ Seek forgiveness is'taghfirū
Seek forgiveness
رَبَّكُمْ (of) your Lord rabbakum
(of) your Lord
ثُمَّ and thumma
and
تُوبُوٓا۟ turn in repentance tūbū
turn in repentance
إِلَيْهِ to Him ilayhi
to Him
يُمَتِّعْكُم He will let you yumattiʿ'kum
He will let you
مَّتَـٰعًا enjoy matāʿan
enjoy
حَسَنًا a good ḥasanan
a good
إِلَىٰٓ for ilā
for
أَجَلٍۢ a term ajalin
a term
مُّسَمًّۭى appointed musamman
appointed
وَيُؤْتِ And give wayu'ti
And give
كُلَّ (to) every kulla
(to) every
ذِى owner dhī
owner
فَضْلٍۢ (of) grace faḍlin
(of) grace
فَضْلَهُۥ ۖ His Grace faḍlahu
His Grace
وَإِن But if wa-in
But if
تَوَلَّوْا۟ you turn away tawallaw
you turn away
فَإِنِّىٓ then indeed, I fa-innī
then indeed, I
أَخَافُ fear akhāfu
fear
عَلَيْكُمْ for you ʿalaykum
for you
عَذَابَ (the) punishment ʿadhāba
(the) punishment
يَوْمٍۢ (of) a Great Day yawmin
(of) a Great Day
كَبِيرٍ (of) a Great Day kabīrin
(of) a Great Day
٣ (3)
(3)
und: Bittet euren Herrn um Vergebung, hierauf wendet euch Ihm in Reue zu, so wird Er euch einen schönen Nießbrauch auf eine festgesetzte Frist gewähren, und Er wird jedem, der voll Huld ist, Seine Huld gewähren. Wenn sie sich jedoch abkehren, (so sag:) Gewiß, ich fürchte für euch die Strafe eines schweren Tages.
11:4
إِلَى To ilā

ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi

مَرْجِعُكُمْ ۖ (is) your return marjiʿukum
(is) your return
وَهُوَ and He wahuwa
and He
عَلَىٰ (is) on ʿalā
(is) on
كُلِّ every kulli
every
شَىْءٍۢ thing shayin
thing
قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful qadīrun
All-Powerful
٤ (4)
(4)
Zu Allah ist eure Rückkehr, und Er hat zu allem die Macht.
11:5
أَلَآ No doubt alā
No doubt
إِنَّهُمْ They innahum
They
يَثْنُونَ fold up yathnūna
fold up
صُدُورَهُمْ their breasts ṣudūrahum
their breasts
لِيَسْتَخْفُوا۟ that they may hide liyastakhfū
that they may hide
مِنْهُ ۚ from Him min'hu
from Him
أَلَا Surely alā
Surely
حِينَ when ḥīna
when
يَسْتَغْشُونَ they cover (themselves) yastaghshūna
they cover (themselves)
ثِيَابَهُمْ (with) their garments thiyābahum
(with) their garments
يَعْلَمُ He knows yaʿlamu
He knows
مَا what
what
يُسِرُّونَ they conceal yusirrūna
they conceal
وَمَا and what wamā
and what
يُعْلِنُونَ ۚ they reveal yuʿ'linūna
they reveal
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He innahu
Indeed, He
عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knower ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knower
بِذَاتِ of what bidhāti
of what
ٱلصُّدُورِ (is in) the breasts l-ṣudūri
(is in) the breasts
٥ (5)
(5)
Sicherlich, sie krümmen ihre Brüste zusammen, um sich vor Ihm zu verbergen. Sicherlich, wenn sie sich (auch) mit ihren Gewändern überdecken, Er weiß doch, was sie geheimhalten und was sie offenlegen. Gewiß, Er weiß über das Innerste der Brüste Bescheid.
11:6
۞ وَمَا And not wamā
And not
مِن any min
any
دَآبَّةٍۢ moving creature dābbatin
moving creature
فِى in
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth l-arḍi
the earth
إِلَّا but illā
but
عَلَى on ʿalā
on
ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi
Allah
رِزْقُهَا (is) its provision riz'quhā
(is) its provision
وَيَعْلَمُ And He knows wayaʿlamu
And He knows
مُسْتَقَرَّهَا its dwelling place mus'taqarrahā
its dwelling place
وَمُسْتَوْدَعَهَا ۚ and its place of storage wamus'tawdaʿahā
and its place of storage
كُلٌّۭ All kullun
All
فِى (is) in
(is) in
كِتَـٰبٍۢ a Record kitābin
a Record
مُّبِينٍۢ clear mubīnin
clear
٦ (6)
(6)
Und es gibt kein Tier auf der Erde, ohne daß Allah sein Unterhalt obläge. Und Er kennt seinen Aufenthaltsort und seinen Aufbewahrungsort. Alles ist in einem deutlichen Buch (verzeichnet).
11:7
وَهُوَ And He wahuwa
And He
ٱلَّذِى (is) the One Who alladhī
(is) the One Who
خَلَقَ created khalaqa
created
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens l-samāwāti
the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth wal-arḍa
and the earth
فِى in
in
سِتَّةِ six sittati
six
أَيَّامٍۢ epochs ayyāmin
epochs
وَكَانَ and His throne was wakāna
and His throne was
عَرْشُهُۥ and His throne was ʿarshuhu
and His throne was
عَلَى on ʿalā
on
ٱلْمَآءِ the water l-māi
the water
لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ that He might test [you] liyabluwakum
that He might test [you]
أَيُّكُمْ which of you ayyukum
which of you
أَحْسَنُ (is) best aḥsanu
(is) best
عَمَلًۭا ۗ (in) deed ʿamalan
(in) deed
وَلَئِن But if wala-in
But if
قُلْتَ you say qul'ta
you say
إِنَّكُم Indeed, you innakum
Indeed, you
مَّبْعُوثُونَ (will be) resurrected mabʿūthūna
(will be) resurrected
مِنۢ after min
after
بَعْدِ after baʿdi
after
ٱلْمَوْتِ [the] death l-mawti
[the] death
لَيَقُولَنَّ surely would say layaqūlanna
surely would say
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
كَفَرُوٓا۟ disbelieved kafarū
disbelieved
إِنْ This is not in
This is not
هَـٰذَآ This is not hādhā
This is not
إِلَّا but illā
but
سِحْرٌۭ a magic siḥ'run
a magic
مُّبِينٌۭ clear mubīnun
clear
٧ (7)
(7)
Er ist es, Der die Himmel und die Erde in sechs Tagen erschuf, und Sein Thron war auf dem Wasser, damit Er euch prüfe (und feststelle), wer von euch die besten Taten begeht. Und wenn du sagst: Ihr werdet nach dem Tod auferweckt werden, sagen diejenigen, die ungläubig sind, ganz gewiß: Das ist ja nur deutliche Zauberei.
11:8
وَلَئِنْ And if wala-in
And if
أَخَّرْنَا We delay akharnā
We delay
عَنْهُمُ from them ʿanhumu
from them
ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment l-ʿadhāba
the punishment
إِلَىٰٓ for ilā
for
أُمَّةٍۢ a time ummatin
a time
مَّعْدُودَةٍۢ determined maʿdūdatin
determined
لَّيَقُولُنَّ they will surely say layaqūlunna
they will surely say
مَا What
What
يَحْبِسُهُۥٓ ۗ detains it yaḥbisuhu
detains it
أَلَا No doubt alā
No doubt
يَوْمَ (On) the Day yawma
(On) the Day
يَأْتِيهِمْ it comes to them yatīhim
it comes to them
لَيْسَ not laysa
not
مَصْرُوفًا (will be) averted maṣrūfan
(will be) averted
عَنْهُمْ from them ʿanhum
from them
وَحَاقَ and will surround waḥāqa
and will surround
بِهِم them bihim
them
مَّا what
what
كَانُوا۟ they used (to) kānū
they used (to)
بِهِۦ mock at [it] bihi
mock at [it]
يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ mock at [it] yastahziūna
mock at [it]
٨ (8)
(8)
Und wenn Wir ihnen die Strafe für einen bestimmten Zeitraum zurückstellen, sagen sie ganz gewiß: Was hält sie zurück? Wahrlich, am Tag, an dem sie über sie kommt, kann sie nicht von ihnen abgewendet werden, und es wird sie das umschließen, worüber sie sich lustig zu machen pflegten.
11:9
وَلَئِنْ And if wala-in
And if
أَذَقْنَا We give man a taste adhaqnā
We give man a taste
ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ We give man a taste l-insāna
We give man a taste
مِنَّا (of) Mercy from Us minnā
(of) Mercy from Us
رَحْمَةًۭ (of) Mercy from Us raḥmatan
(of) Mercy from Us
ثُمَّ then thumma
then
نَزَعْنَـٰهَا We withdraw it nazaʿnāhā
We withdraw it
مِنْهُ from him min'hu
from him
إِنَّهُۥ indeed, he innahu
indeed, he
لَيَـُٔوسٌۭ (is) despairing layaūsun
(is) despairing
كَفُورٌۭ (and) ungrateful kafūrun
(and) ungrateful
٩ (9)
(9)
Und wenn Wir den Menschen von Uns (aus) Barmherzigkeit kosten lassen und sie ihm hierauf entziehen, ist er fürwahr sehr verzweifelt und sehr undankbar.
11:10
وَلَئِنْ But if wala-in
But if
أَذَقْنَـٰهُ We give him a taste adhaqnāhu
We give him a taste
نَعْمَآءَ (of) favor naʿmāa
(of) favor
بَعْدَ after baʿda
after
ضَرَّآءَ hardship ḍarrāa
hardship
مَسَّتْهُ (has) touched him massathu
(has) touched him
لَيَقُولَنَّ surely, he will say layaqūlanna
surely, he will say
ذَهَبَ Have gone dhahaba
Have gone
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتُ the evils l-sayiātu
the evils
عَنِّىٓ ۚ from me ʿannī
from me
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he innahu
Indeed, he
لَفَرِحٌۭ (is) exultant lafariḥun
(is) exultant
فَخُورٌ (and) boastful fakhūrun
(and) boastful
١٠ (10)
(10)
Und wenn Wir ihn Angenehmes kosten lassen nach Leid, das ihm widerfuhr, sagt er ganz gewiß: Das Übel ist von mir gewichen. Und er ist fürwahr froh und prahlerisch,
11:11
إِلَّا Except illā
Except
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
صَبَرُوا۟ (are) patient ṣabarū
(are) patient
وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do waʿamilū
and do
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ the good deeds l-ṣāliḥāti
the good deeds
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ those ulāika
those
لَهُم for them lahum
for them
مَّغْفِرَةٌۭ (will be) forgiveness maghfiratun
(will be) forgiveness
وَأَجْرٌۭ and a reward wa-ajrun
and a reward
كَبِيرٌۭ great kabīrun
great
١١ (11)
(11)
außer denjenigen, die standhaft sind und rechtschaffene Werke tun; für sie gibt es Vergebung und großen Lohn.
11:12
فَلَعَلَّكَ Then possibly you falaʿallaka
Then possibly you
تَارِكٌۢ (may) give up tārikun
(may) give up
بَعْضَ a part baʿḍa
a part
مَا (of) what
(of) what
يُوحَىٰٓ is revealed yūḥā
is revealed
إِلَيْكَ to you ilayka
to you
وَضَآئِقٌۢ and straitened waḍāiqun
and straitened
بِهِۦ by it bihi
by it
صَدْرُكَ your breast ṣadruka
your breast
أَن because an
because
يَقُولُوا۟ they say yaqūlū
they say
لَوْلَآ Why not lawlā
Why not
أُنزِلَ is sent down unzila
is sent down
عَلَيْهِ for him ʿalayhi
for him
كَنزٌ a treasure kanzun
a treasure
أَوْ or aw
or
جَآءَ has come jāa
has come
مَعَهُۥ with him maʿahu
with him
مَلَكٌ ۚ an Angel malakun
an Angel
إِنَّمَآ Only innamā
Only
أَنتَ you anta
you
نَذِيرٌۭ ۚ (are) a warner nadhīrun
(are) a warner
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلَىٰ (is) on ʿalā
(is) on
كُلِّ every kulli
every
شَىْءٍۢ thing shayin
thing
وَكِيلٌ a Guardian wakīlun
a Guardian
١٢ (12)
(12)
Vielleicht möchtest du einen Teil von dem, was dir (als Offenbarung) eingegeben wird, auslassen und deine Brust ist dadurch beklommen, und dies, weil sie sagen: Wäre doch ein Schatz auf ihn herabgesandt worden oder ein Engel mit ihm gekommen! Du aber bist nur ein Warner. Und Allah ist Sachwalter über alles.
11:13
أَمْ Or am
Or
يَقُولُونَ they say yaqūlūna
they say
افْتَرَاهُ ۖ He has fabricated it if'tarāhu
He has fabricated it
قُلْ Say qul
Say
فَأْتُوا۟ Then bring fatū
Then bring
بِعَشْرِ ten biʿashri
ten
سُوَرٍۢ Surahs suwarin
Surahs
مِّثْلِهِۦ like it mith'lihi
like it
مُفْتَرَيَـٰتٍۢ fabricated muf'tarayātin
fabricated
وَٱدْعُوا۟ and call wa-id'ʿū
and call
مَنِ whoever mani
whoever
ٱسْتَطَعْتُم you can is'taṭaʿtum
you can
مِّن besides Allah min
besides Allah
دُونِ besides Allah dūni
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ besides Allah l-lahi
besides Allah
إِن if in
if
كُنتُمْ you are kuntum
you are
صَـٰدِقِينَ truthful ṣādiqīna
truthful
١٣ (13)
(13)
Oder sagen sie: Er hat ihn ersonnen Sag: Dann bringt doch zehn ersonnene Suren bei, die ihm gleich sind, und ruft an, wen ihr könnt, außer Allah, wenn ihr wahrhaftig seid.
11:14
فَإِلَّمْ Then if not fa-illam
Then if not
يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ they respond yastajībū
they respond
لَكُمْ to you lakum
to you
فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ then know fa-iʿ'lamū
then know
أَنَّمَآ that annamā
that
أُنزِلَ it was sent down unzila
it was sent down
بِعِلْمِ with the knowledge of Allah biʿil'mi
with the knowledge of Allah
ٱللَّهِ with the knowledge of Allah l-lahi
with the knowledge of Allah
وَأَن and that wa-an
and that
لَّآ (there is) no
(there is) no
إِلَـٰهَ god ilāha
god
إِلَّا except illā
except
هُوَ ۖ Him huwa
Him
فَهَلْ Then, would fahal
Then, would
أَنتُم you antum
you
مُّسْلِمُونَ (be) Muslims mus'limūna
(be) Muslims
١٤ (14)
(14)
Und wenn sie euch nicht erhören, dann wisset, daß er nur mit Allahs Wissen herabgesandt worden ist und daß es keinen Gott gibt außer Ihm? Werdet ihr nun (Allah) ergeben sein?
11:15
مَن Whoever [is] man

كَانَ Whoever [is] kāna
Whoever [is]
يُرِيدُ desires yurīdu
desires
ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ the life l-ḥayata
the life
ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world l-dun'yā
(of) the world
وَزِينَتَهَا and its adornments wazīnatahā
and its adornments
نُوَفِّ We will repay in full nuwaffi
We will repay in full
إِلَيْهِمْ to them ilayhim
to them
أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ (for) their deeds aʿmālahum
(for) their deeds
فِيهَا therein fīhā
therein
وَهُمْ and they wahum
and they
فِيهَا in it fīhā
in it
لَا will not be lessened
will not be lessened
يُبْخَسُونَ will not be lessened yub'khasūna
will not be lessened
١٥ (15)
(15)
Wer immer das diesseitige Leben und seinen Schmuck will, dem lassen wir in ihm (den Lohn für) seine Werke in vollem Maß zukommen, und ihm wird darin nichts geschmälert.
11:16
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those ulāika
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ (are) the ones who alladhīna
(are) the ones who
لَيْسَ (is) not laysa
(is) not
لَهُمْ for them lahum
for them
فِى in
in
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ the Hereafter l-ākhirati
the Hereafter
إِلَّا except illā
except
ٱلنَّارُ ۖ the Fire l-nāru
the Fire
وَحَبِطَ And (has) gone in vain waḥabiṭa
And (has) gone in vain
مَا what
what
صَنَعُوا۟ they did ṣanaʿū
they did
فِيهَا therein fīhā
therein
وَبَـٰطِلٌۭ and (is) worthless wabāṭilun
and (is) worthless
مَّا what
what
كَانُوا۟ they used (to) kānū
they used (to)
يَعْمَلُونَ do yaʿmalūna
do
١٦ (16)
(16)
Das sind diejenigen, für die es im Jenseits nur das (Höllen)feuer gibt. Nutzlos ist, was sie in ihm gemacht haben, und hinfallig wird, was sie zu tun pflegten.
11:17
أَفَمَن Then is he who afaman
Then is he who
كَانَ is kāna
is
عَلَىٰ on ʿalā
on
بَيِّنَةٍۢ a clear proof bayyinatin
a clear proof
مِّن from min
from
رَّبِّهِۦ his Lord rabbihi
his Lord
وَيَتْلُوهُ and recites it wayatlūhu
and recites it
شَاهِدٌۭ a witness shāhidun
a witness
مِّنْهُ from Him min'hu
from Him
وَمِن and before it wamin
and before it
قَبْلِهِۦ and before it qablihi
and before it
كِتَـٰبُ (was) a Book kitābu
(was) a Book
مُوسَىٰٓ (of) Musa mūsā
(of) Musa
إِمَامًۭا (as) a guide imāman
(as) a guide
وَرَحْمَةً ۚ and (as) mercy waraḥmatan
and (as) mercy
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those ulāika
Those
يُؤْمِنُونَ believe yu'minūna
believe
بِهِۦ ۚ in it bihi
in it
وَمَن But whoever waman
But whoever
يَكْفُرْ disbelieves yakfur
disbelieves
بِهِۦ in it bihi
in it
مِنَ among mina
among
ٱلْأَحْزَابِ the sects l-aḥzābi
the sects
فَٱلنَّارُ then the Fire fal-nāru
then the Fire
مَوْعِدُهُۥ ۚ (will be) his promised (meeting) place mawʿiduhu
(will be) his promised (meeting) place
فَلَا So (do) not falā
So (do) not
تَكُ be taku
be
فِى in
in
مِرْيَةٍۢ doubt mir'yatin
doubt
مِّنْهُ ۚ about it min'hu
about it
إِنَّهُ Indeed, it innahu
Indeed, it
ٱلْحَقُّ (is) the truth l-ḥaqu
(is) the truth
مِن from min
from
رَّبِّكَ your Lord rabbika
your Lord
وَلَـٰكِنَّ but walākinna
but
أَكْثَرَ most akthara
most
ٱلنَّاسِ (of) the people l-nāsi
(of) the people
لَا (do) not
(do) not
يُؤْمِنُونَ believe yu'minūna
believe
١٧ (17)
(17)
Ist denn einer (den anderen gleich), der sich auf einen klaren Beweis von seinem Herrn stützt, und auf den ein Zeuge von Ihm folgt, dem die Schrift Musas vorausging als Vorbild und Barmherzigkeit? Diese glauben daran. Wer aber von den Gruppierungen ihn verleugnet, dessen Verabredung(sort) ist das (Höllen)feuer. So sei nicht über ihn im Zweifel, er ist die Wahrheit von deinem Herrn. Aber die meisten Menschen glauben nicht.
11:18
وَمَنْ And who waman
And who
أَظْلَمُ (is) more unjust aẓlamu
(is) more unjust
مِمَّنِ than (he) who mimmani
than (he) who
ٱفْتَرَىٰ invents if'tarā
invents
عَلَى against ʿalā
against
ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi
Allah
كَذِبًا ۚ a lie kadhiban
a lie
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those ulāika
Those
يُعْرَضُونَ will be presented yuʿ'raḍūna
will be presented
عَلَىٰ before ʿalā
before
رَبِّهِمْ their Lord rabbihim
their Lord
وَيَقُولُ and will say wayaqūlu
and will say
ٱلْأَشْهَـٰدُ the witnesses l-ashhādu
the witnesses
هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ These (are) hāulāi
These (are)
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
كَذَبُوا۟ lied kadhabū
lied
عَلَىٰ against ʿalā
against
رَبِّهِمْ ۚ their Lord rabbihim
their Lord
أَلَا No doubt alā
No doubt
لَعْنَةُ (The) curse of Allah laʿnatu
(The) curse of Allah
ٱللَّهِ (The) curse of Allah l-lahi
(The) curse of Allah
عَلَى (is) on ʿalā
(is) on
ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers l-ẓālimīna
the wrongdoers
١٨ (18)
(18)
Und wer ist ungerechter, als wer gegen Allah eine Lüge ersinnt? Jene werden ihrem Herrn vorgeführt, und die Zeugen werden sagen: Das sind diejenigen, die gegen ihren Herrn gelogen haben. Aber wahrlich, Allahs Fluch (kommt) über die Ungerechten,
11:19
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who alladhīna

يَصُدُّونَ hinder yaṣuddūna

عَن from ʿan

سَبِيلِ (the) way sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
وَيَبْغُونَهَا and seek (in) it wayabghūnahā
and seek (in) it

وَهُم while they wahum
while they
بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ in the Hereafter bil-ākhirati
in the Hereafter
هُمْ [they] hum

كَـٰفِرُونَ (are) disbelievers kāfirūna
(are) disbelievers
١٩ (19)
(19)
die von Allahs Weg abhalten und danach trachten, ihn krumm zu machen, und sie, die sie das Jenseits verleugnen.
11:20
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those ulāika
Those
لَمْ not lam
not
يَكُونُوا۟ will be yakūnū
will be
مُعْجِزِينَ (able to) escape muʿ'jizīna
(able to) escape
فِى in
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth l-arḍi
the earth
وَمَا and not wamā
and not
كَانَ is kāna
is
لَهُم for them lahum
for them
مِّن besides min
besides
دُونِ besides dūni
besides
ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi
Allah
مِنْ any min
any
أَوْلِيَآءَ ۘ protectors awliyāa
protectors
يُضَـٰعَفُ And will be doubled yuḍāʿafu
And will be doubled
لَهُمُ for them lahumu
for them
ٱلْعَذَابُ ۚ the punishment l-ʿadhābu
the punishment
مَا Not
Not
كَانُوا۟ they were kānū
they were
يَسْتَطِيعُونَ able yastaṭīʿūna
able
ٱلسَّمْعَ (to) hear l-samʿa
(to) hear
وَمَا and not wamā
and not
كَانُوا۟ they used (to) kānū
they used (to)
يُبْصِرُونَ see yub'ṣirūna
see
٢٠ (20)
(20)
Jene werden sich (Allah) auf der Erde nicht entziehen können, und sie werden außer Allah keine Schutzherren haben. Die Strafe wird ihnen vervielfacht. Sie konnten nicht hören, und sie pflegten nicht zu sehen.
11:21
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those ulāika
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ (are) the ones who alladhīna
(are) the ones who
خَسِرُوٓا۟ (have) lost khasirū
(have) lost
أَنفُسَهُمْ their souls anfusahum
their souls
وَضَلَّ and lost waḍalla
and lost
عَنْهُم from them ʿanhum
from them
مَّا (is) what
(is) what
كَانُوا۟ they used kānū
they used
يَفْتَرُونَ (to) invent yaftarūna
(to) invent
٢١ (21)
(21)
Das sind diejenigen, die ihre Seelen verloren haben, und es ist ihnen entschwunden, was sie zu ersinnen pflegten.
11:22
لَا No
No
جَرَمَ doubt jarama
doubt
أَنَّهُمْ that they annahum
that they
فِى in
in
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ the Hereafter l-ākhirati
the Hereafter
هُمُ [they] humu
[they]
ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ (will be) the greatest losers l-akhsarūna
(will be) the greatest losers
٢٢ (22)
(22)
Zweifellos sind sie im Jenseits die größten Verlierer.
11:23
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
ءَامَنُوا۟ believe āmanū
believe
وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do waʿamilū
and do
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ good deeds l-ṣāliḥāti
good deeds
وَأَخْبَتُوٓا۟ and humble themselves wa-akhbatū
and humble themselves
إِلَىٰ before ilā
before
رَبِّهِمْ their Lord rabbihim
their Lord
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ those ulāika
those
أَصْحَـٰبُ (are the) companions aṣḥābu
(are the) companions
ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۖ (of) Paradise l-janati
(of) Paradise
هُمْ they hum
they
فِيهَا in it fīhā
in it
خَـٰلِدُونَ (will) abide forever khālidūna
(will) abide forever
٢٣ (23)
(23)
Gewiß, diejenigen, die glauben und rechtschaffene Werke tun und sich vor ihrem Herrn demütigen, das sind die Insassen des (Paradies)gartens. Ewig werden sie darin bleiben.
11:24
۞ مَثَلُ (The) example mathalu
(The) example
ٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِ (of) the two parties l-farīqayni
(of) the two parties
كَٱلْأَعْمَىٰ (is) like the blind kal-aʿmā
(is) like the blind
وَٱلْأَصَمِّ and the deaf wal-aṣami
and the deaf
وَٱلْبَصِيرِ and the seer wal-baṣīri
and the seer
وَٱلسَّمِيعِ ۚ and the hearer wal-samīʿi
and the hearer
هَلْ Are hal
Are
يَسْتَوِيَانِ they equal yastawiyāni
they equal
مَثَلًا ۚ (in) comparison mathalan
(in) comparison
أَفَلَا Then, will not afalā
Then, will not
تَذَكَّرُونَ you take heed tadhakkarūna
you take heed
٢٤ (24)
(24)
Das Gleichnis der beiden Gruppen ist wie der Blinde und der Taube und der Sehende und der Hörende. Sind die beiden (etwa) einander gleich? Bedenkt ihr denn nicht?
11:25
وَلَقَدْ And verily walaqad
And verily
أَرْسَلْنَا We sent arsalnā

نُوحًا Nuh nūḥan

إِلَىٰ to ilā
to
قَوْمِهِۦٓ his people qawmihi
his people
إِنِّى Indeed, I am innī
Indeed, I am
لَكُمْ to you lakum

نَذِيرٌۭ a warner nadhīrun
a warner
مُّبِينٌ clear mubīnun
clear
٢٥ (25)
(25)
Und Wir sandten ja bereits Nuh zu seinem Volk: Ich bin euch ja ein deutlicher Warner:
11:26
أَن That an

تَعْبُدُوٓا۟ worship taʿbudū

إِلَّا except illā

ٱللَّهَ ۖ Allah l-laha

إِنِّىٓ Indeed, I innī

أَخَافُ [I] fear akhāfu
[I] fear
عَلَيْكُمْ for you ʿalaykum
for you
عَذَابَ (the) punishment ʿadhāba
(the) punishment
يَوْمٍ (of) a Day yawmin
(of) a Day
أَلِيمٍۢ painful alīmin
painful
٢٦ (26)
(26)
Ihr sollt keinem außer Allah dienen. Gewiß, ich fürchte für euch die Strafe eines schmerzhaften Tages.
11:27
فَقَالَ So said faqāla
So said
ٱلْمَلَأُ the chiefs l-mala-u
the chiefs
ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who alladhīna
(of) those who
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved kafarū
disbelieved
مِن from min
from
قَوْمِهِۦ his people qawmihi
his people
مَا Not
Not
نَرَىٰكَ we see you narāka
we see you
إِلَّا but illā
but
بَشَرًۭا a man basharan
a man
مِّثْلَنَا like us mith'lanā
like us
وَمَا and not wamā
and not
نَرَىٰكَ we see you narāka
we see you
ٱتَّبَعَكَ followed [you] ittabaʿaka
followed [you]
إِلَّا except illā
except
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
هُمْ [they] hum
[they]
أَرَاذِلُنَا (are) the lowest of us arādhilunā
(are) the lowest of us
بَادِىَ immature in opinion bādiya
immature in opinion
ٱلرَّأْىِ immature in opinion l-rayi
immature in opinion
وَمَا And not wamā
And not
نَرَىٰ we see narā
we see
لَكُمْ in you lakum
in you
عَلَيْنَا over us ʿalaynā
over us
مِن any min
any
فَضْلٍۭ merit faḍlin
merit
بَلْ nay bal
nay
نَظُنُّكُمْ we think you naẓunnukum
we think you
كَـٰذِبِينَ (are) liars kādhibīna
(are) liars
٢٧ (27)
(27)
Da sagte die führende Schar aus seinem Volk, die ungläubig war: Wir sehen in dir nur einen Menschen unseresgleichen. Und wir sehen, daß nur die dir folgen, die unsere Niedrigsten sind, und zwar ohne reifliche Überlegung. Und wir sehen bei euch keinen Vorzug gegenüber uns. Vielmehr meinen wir, daß ihr Lügner seid.
11:28
قَالَ He said qāla

يَـٰقَوْمِ O my people yāqawmi
O my people
أَرَءَيْتُمْ Do you see ara-aytum
Do you see
إِن if in

كُنتُ I was kuntu
I was
عَلَىٰ on ʿalā
on
بَيِّنَةٍۢ (the) clear proof bayyinatin
(the) clear proof
مِّن from min
from
رَّبِّى my Lord rabbī
my Lord
وَءَاتَىٰنِى while He has given me waātānī
while He has given me
رَحْمَةًۭ mercy raḥmatan
mercy
مِّنْ from min
from
عِندِهِۦ Himself ʿindihi
Himself
فَعُمِّيَتْ but (it) has been obscured faʿummiyat
but (it) has been obscured
عَلَيْكُمْ from you ʿalaykum
from you
أَنُلْزِمُكُمُوهَا should We compel you (to accept) it anul'zimukumūhā
should We compel you (to accept) it
وَأَنتُمْ while you (are) wa-antum
while you (are)
لَهَا averse to it lahā
averse to it
كَـٰرِهُونَ averse to it kārihūna
averse to it
٢٨ (28)
(28)
Er sagte: O mein Volk, was meint ihr, wenn ich mich auf einen klaren Beweis von meinem Herrn stütze und Er mir eine Barmherzigkeit von Sich hat zukommen lassen, die aber eurem Blick entzogen wurde, sollen wir sie euch da aufzwingen, wo sie euch zuwider ist?
11:29
وَيَـٰقَوْمِ And O my people wayāqawmi
And O my people
لَآ not
not
أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ I ask (of) you asalukum
I ask (of) you
عَلَيْهِ for it ʿalayhi
for it
مَالًا ۖ any wealth mālan
any wealth
إِنْ Not in
Not
أَجْرِىَ (is) my reward ajriya
(is) my reward
إِلَّا except illā
except
عَلَى from ʿalā
from
ٱللَّهِ ۚ Allah l-lahi
Allah
وَمَآ And not wamā
And not
أَنَا۠ I am anā
I am
بِطَارِدِ going to drive away biṭāridi
going to drive away
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
ءَامَنُوٓا۟ ۚ believed āmanū
believed
إِنَّهُم Indeed, they innahum
Indeed, they
مُّلَـٰقُوا۟ (will) be meeting mulāqū
(will) be meeting
رَبِّهِمْ their Lord rabbihim
their Lord
وَلَـٰكِنِّىٓ but I walākinnī
but I
أَرَىٰكُمْ see you arākum
see you
قَوْمًۭا (are) a people qawman
(are) a people
تَجْهَلُونَ ignorant tajhalūna
ignorant
٢٩ (29)
(29)
Und, o mein Volk, ich verlange von euch keinen Besitz dafür. Mein Lohn obliegt nur Allah. Und ich werde nicht diejenigen, die glauben, abweisen; sie werden ihrem Herrn begegnen. Aber ich sehe, ihr seid Leute, die töricht sind.
11:30
وَيَـٰقَوْمِ And O my people wayāqawmi
And O my people
مَن Who man
Who
يَنصُرُنِى would help me yanṣurunī
would help me
مِنَ against mina
against
ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi
Allah
إِن if in
if
طَرَدتُّهُمْ ۚ I drove them away ṭaradttuhum
I drove them away
أَفَلَا Then, will not afalā
Then, will not
تَذَكَّرُونَ you take heed tadhakkarūna
you take heed
٣٠ (30)
(30)
Und, o mein Volk, wer wird mir gegen Allah helfen, wenn ich sie abweise? Bedenkt ihr denn nicht?
11:31
وَلَآ And not walā
And not
أَقُولُ I say aqūlu
I say
لَكُمْ to you lakum
to you
عِندِى (that) with me ʿindī
(that) with me
خَزَآئِنُ (are the) treasures khazāinu
(are the) treasures
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلَآ and not walā
and not
أَعْلَمُ I know aʿlamu
I know
ٱلْغَيْبَ the unseen l-ghayba
the unseen
وَلَآ and not walā
and not
أَقُولُ I say aqūlu
I say
إِنِّى that I am innī
that I am
مَلَكٌۭ an Angel malakun
an Angel
وَلَآ and not walā
and not
أَقُولُ I say aqūlu
I say
لِلَّذِينَ for those whom lilladhīna
for those whom
تَزْدَرِىٓ look down upon tazdarī
look down upon
أَعْيُنُكُمْ your eyes aʿyunukum
your eyes
لَن never lan
never
يُؤْتِيَهُمُ will Allah give them yu'tiyahumu
will Allah give them
ٱللَّهُ will Allah give them l-lahu
will Allah give them
خَيْرًا ۖ any good khayran
any good
ٱللَّهُ Allah l-lahu
Allah
أَعْلَمُ knows best aʿlamu
knows best
بِمَا what bimā
what
فِىٓ (is) in
(is) in
أَنفُسِهِمْ ۖ their souls anfusihim
their souls
إِنِّىٓ Indeed, I innī
Indeed, I
إِذًۭا then idhan
then
لَّمِنَ (will be) surely of lamina
(will be) surely of
ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers l-ẓālimīna
the wrongdoers
٣١ (31)
(31)
Und ich sage nicht zu euch, ich besäße die Schatzkammern Allahs, und ich weiß auch nicht das Verborgene; und ich sage nicht, ich sei ein Engel. Noch sage ich von denen, die eure Augen verachten, Allah werde ihnen niemals etwas Gutes zukommen lassen - Allah weiß am besten, was in ihrem Innersten ist -, sonst gehörte ich wahrlich zu den Ungerechten.
11:32
قَالُوا۟ They said qālū
They said
يَـٰنُوحُ O Nuh yānūḥu
O Nuh
قَدْ Indeed qad
Indeed
جَـٰدَلْتَنَا you disputed with us jādaltanā
you disputed with us
فَأَكْثَرْتَ and you (have been) frequent fa-aktharta
and you (have been) frequent
جِدَٰلَنَا (in) dispute with us jidālanā
(in) dispute with us
فَأْتِنَا So bring us fatinā
So bring us
بِمَا what bimā
what
تَعِدُنَآ you threaten us (with) taʿidunā
you threaten us (with)
إِن if in
if
كُنتَ you are kunta
you are
مِنَ of mina
of
ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ the truthful l-ṣādiqīna
the truthful
٣٢ (32)
(32)
Sie sagten: O Nuh, du hast bereits mit uns gestritten und dabei den Streit mit uns übertrieben. Bring uns doch her, was du uns androhst, wenn du zu den Wahrhaftigen gehörst!
11:33
قَالَ He said qāla
He said
إِنَّمَا Only innamā

يَأْتِيكُم will bring it (on) you yatīkum
will bring it (on) you
بِهِ will bring it (on) you bihi
will bring it (on) you
ٱللَّهُ Allah l-lahu
Allah
إِن if in

شَآءَ He wills shāa
He wills
وَمَآ and not wamā
and not
أَنتُم you (are) antum
you (are)
بِمُعْجِزِينَ one who (can) escape (it) bimuʿ'jizīna
one who (can) escape (it)
٣٣ (33)
(33)
Er sagte: Nur Allah (allein) wird es euch bringen, wenn Er will, und ihr werdet euch (Ihm) nicht entziehen können.
11:34
وَلَا And (will) not walā
And (will) not
يَنفَعُكُمْ benefit you yanfaʿukum
benefit you
نُصْحِىٓ my advice nuṣ'ḥī
my advice
إِنْ (even) if in
(even) if
أَرَدتُّ I wish aradttu
I wish
أَنْ to an
to
أَنصَحَ [I] advise anṣaḥa
[I] advise
لَكُمْ [to] you lakum
[to] you
إِن if in
if
كَانَ it was Allah's kāna
it was Allah's
ٱللَّهُ it was Allah's l-lahu
it was Allah's
يُرِيدُ will yurīdu
will
أَن to an
to
يُغْوِيَكُمْ ۚ let you go astray yugh'wiyakum
let you go astray
هُوَ He (is) huwa
He (is)
رَبُّكُمْ your Lord rabbukum
your Lord
وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him wa-ilayhi
and to Him
تُرْجَعُونَ you will be returned tur'jaʿūna
you will be returned
٣٤ (34)
(34)
Und mein guter Rat wird, wenn ich euch gut raten will, euch nicht nützen, wenn Allah euch in Verirrung fallen lassen will. Er ist euer Herr, und zu Ihm werdet ihr zurückgebracht.
11:35
أَمْ Or am
Or
يَقُولُونَ (do) they say yaqūlūna
(do) they say
ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ ۖ He has invented it if'tarāhu
He has invented it
قُلْ Say qul
Say
إِنِ If ini
If
ٱفْتَرَيْتُهُۥ I have invented it if'taraytuhu
I have invented it
فَعَلَىَّ then on me faʿalayya
then on me
إِجْرَامِى (is) my crime ij'rāmī
(is) my crime
وَأَنَا۠ but I am wa-anā
but I am
بَرِىٓءٌۭ innocent barīon
innocent
مِّمَّا of what mimmā
of what
تُجْرِمُونَ crimes you commit tuj'rimūna
crimes you commit
٣٥ (35)
(35)
Oder sagen sie: Er hat ihn ersonnen Sag: Wenn ich ihn ersonnen habe, so lastet meine Übeltat auf mir, und ich bin unschuldig an dem, was ihr an Übeltaten begeht.
11:36
وَأُوحِىَ And it was revealed waūḥiya
And it was revealed
إِلَىٰ to ilā

نُوحٍ Nuh nūḥin
Nuh
أَنَّهُۥ That annahu
That
لَن will never lan
will never
يُؤْمِنَ believe yu'mina
believe
مِن from min
from
قَوْمِكَ your people qawmika
your people
إِلَّا except illā
except
مَن (those) who man
(those) who
قَدْ have already qad
have already
ءَامَنَ believed āmana
believed
فَلَا So (do) not falā
So (do) not
تَبْتَئِسْ (be) distressed tabta-is
(be) distressed
بِمَا by what bimā
by what
كَانُوا۟ they have been kānū
they have been
يَفْعَلُونَ doing yafʿalūna
doing
٣٦ (36)
(36)
Und Nuh wurde (als Offenbarung) eingegeben: Niemand aus deinem Volk wird glauben außer denen, die bereits geglaubt haben. So sei nicht bekümmert wegen dessen, was sie getan haben.
11:37
وَٱصْنَعِ And construct wa-iṣ'naʿi
And construct
ٱلْفُلْكَ the ship l-ful'ka
the ship
بِأَعْيُنِنَا under Our Eyes bi-aʿyuninā
under Our Eyes
وَوَحْيِنَا and Our inspiration wawaḥyinā
and Our inspiration
وَلَا and (do) not walā
and (do) not
تُخَـٰطِبْنِى address Me tukhāṭib'nī
address Me
فِى concerning
concerning
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
ظَلَمُوٓا۟ ۚ wronged ẓalamū
wronged
إِنَّهُم indeed, they (are) innahum
indeed, they (are)
مُّغْرَقُونَ the ones (to be) drowned mugh'raqūna
the ones (to be) drowned
٣٧ (37)
(37)
Und verfertige das Schiff vor Unseren Augen und nach Unserer Eingebung. Und sprich Mich nicht an zugunsten derer, die Unrecht getan haben; sie werden ertränkt werden.
11:38
وَيَصْنَعُ And he was constructing wayaṣnaʿu
And he was constructing
ٱلْفُلْكَ the ship l-ful'ka
the ship
وَكُلَّمَا and every time wakullamā
and every time
مَرَّ passed marra
passed
عَلَيْهِ by him ʿalayhi
by him
مَلَأٌۭ (the) chiefs mala-on
(the) chiefs
مِّن of min
of
قَوْمِهِۦ his people qawmihi
his people
سَخِرُوا۟ they ridiculed sakhirū
they ridiculed
مِنْهُ ۚ [of] him min'hu
[of] him
قَالَ He said qāla
He said
إِن If in
If
تَسْخَرُوا۟ you ridicule taskharū
you ridicule
مِنَّا us minnā
us
فَإِنَّا then we fa-innā
then we
نَسْخَرُ can ridicule naskharu
can ridicule
مِنكُمْ you minkum
you
كَمَا as kamā
as
تَسْخَرُونَ you ridicule taskharūna
you ridicule
٣٨ (38)
(38)
Er verfertigte das Schiff, wobei jedesmal, wenn eine führende Schar aus seinem Volk an ihm vorbeikam, sie über ihn spotteten. Er sagte: Wenn ihr über uns spottet, werden auch wir über euch spotten, so wie ihr (jetzt über uns) spottet.
11:39
فَسَوْفَ And soon fasawfa
And soon
تَعْلَمُونَ you will know taʿlamūna
you will know
مَن (on) whom man
(on) whom
يَأْتِيهِ will come yatīhi
will come
عَذَابٌۭ a punishment ʿadhābun
a punishment
يُخْزِيهِ (that) will disgrace him yukh'zīhi
(that) will disgrace him
وَيَحِلُّ and will descend wayaḥillu
and will descend
عَلَيْهِ on him ʿalayhi
on him
عَذَابٌۭ a punishment ʿadhābun
a punishment
مُّقِيمٌ lasting muqīmun
lasting
٣٩ (39)
(39)
Dann werdet ihr (noch) erfahren, über wen eine Strafe kommen, die ihn in Schande stürzt, und (über wen) eine beständige Strafe hereinbrechen wird.
11:40
حَتَّىٰٓ Till ḥattā

ٱلتَّنُّورُ the oven l-tanūru

فِيهَا in it fīhā

مِن of min

كُلٍّۢ every kind kullin
every kind
زَوْجَيْنِ a pair zawjayni
a pair
ٱثْنَيْنِ two ith'nayni
two
وَأَهْلَكَ and your family wa-ahlaka
and your family
إِلَّا except illā
except
مَن who man
who
سَبَقَ has preceded sabaqa
has preceded
عَلَيْهِ against him ʿalayhi
against him
ٱلْقَوْلُ the word l-qawlu
the word
وَمَنْ and whoever waman
and whoever
ءَامَنَ ۚ believed āmana
believed
وَمَآ And not wamā
And not
ءَامَنَ believed āmana
believed
مَعَهُۥٓ with him maʿahu
with him
إِلَّا except illā
except
قَلِيلٌۭ a few qalīlun
a few
٤٠ (40)
(40)
(So ging es,) bis nun Unser Befehl kam und der Ofen brodelte; Wir sagten: Lade darin von jeder (Art) zwei, ein Paar, und deine Angehörigen außer demjenigen, gegen den das Wort vorher ergangen ist, und diejenigen, die glauben! Mit ihm glaubten aber nur wenige.
11:41
۞ وَقَالَ And he said waqāla
And he said
ٱرْكَبُوا۟ Embark ir'kabū
Embark
فِيهَا in it fīhā
in it
بِسْمِ in the name bis'mi
in the name
ٱللَّهِ of Allah l-lahi
of Allah
مَجْر۪ىٰهَا (is) its course majrahā
(is) its course
وَمُرْسَىٰهَآ ۚ and its anchorage wamur'sāhā
and its anchorage
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
رَبِّى my Lord rabbī
my Lord
لَغَفُورٌۭ (is) certainly Oft-Forgiving laghafūrun
(is) certainly Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌۭ Most Merciful raḥīmun
Most Merciful
٤١ (41)
(41)
Und er sagte: Steigt hinein! Im Namen Allahs erfolge seine Fahrt und seine Landung. Mein Herr ist fürwahr Allvergebend und Barmherzig.
11:42
وَهِىَ And it wahiya
And it
تَجْرِى sailed tajrī
sailed
بِهِمْ with them bihim
with them
فِى on
on
مَوْجٍۢ the waves mawjin
the waves
كَٱلْجِبَالِ like mountains kal-jibāli
like mountains
وَنَادَىٰ and Nuh called out wanādā
and Nuh called out
نُوحٌ and Nuh called out nūḥun
and Nuh called out
ٱبْنَهُۥ (to) his son ib'nahu
(to) his son
وَكَانَ and he was wakāna
and he was
فِى [in]
[in]
مَعْزِلٍۢ apart maʿzilin
apart
يَـٰبُنَىَّ O my son yābunayya
O my son
ٱرْكَب Embark ir'kab
Embark
مَّعَنَا with us maʿanā
with us
وَلَا and (do) not walā
and (do) not
تَكُن be takun
be
مَّعَ with maʿa
with
ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers l-kāfirīna
the disbelievers
٤٢ (42)
(42)
Es fuhr mit ihnen dahin inmitten von Wogen wie Berge. Nuh rief seinem Sohn zu, der sich abseits hielt: O mein lieber Sohn, steig mit uns ein und sei nicht mit den Ungläubigen!
11:43
قَالَ He said qāla
He said
سَـَٔاوِىٓ I will betake myself saāwī
I will betake myself
إِلَىٰ to ilā
to
جَبَلٍۢ a mountain jabalin
a mountain
يَعْصِمُنِى (that) will save me yaʿṣimunī
(that) will save me
مِنَ from mina

ٱلْمَآءِ ۚ the water l-māi
the water
قَالَ He said qāla
He said
لَا (There is) no
(There is) no
عَاصِمَ protector ʿāṣima
protector
ٱلْيَوْمَ today l-yawma
today
مِنْ from min
from
أَمْرِ the Command of Allah amri
the Command of Allah
ٱللَّهِ the Command of Allah l-lahi
the Command of Allah
إِلَّا except illā
except
مَن (on) whom man
(on) whom
رَّحِمَ ۚ He has mercy raḥima
He has mercy
وَحَالَ And came waḥāla
And came
بَيْنَهُمَا (in) between them baynahumā
(in) between them
ٱلْمَوْجُ the waves l-mawju
the waves
فَكَانَ so he was fakāna
so he was
مِنَ among mina
among
ٱلْمُغْرَقِينَ the drowned l-mugh'raqīna
the drowned
٤٣ (43)
(43)
Er sagte: Ich werde auf einem Berg Zuflucht suchen, der mich vor dem Wasser schützt. Er sagte: Es gibt heute nichts, das vor dem Befehl Allahs schützen könnte, außer für den, dessen Er Sich erbarmt. Die Wogen trennten sie beide, und so gehörte er zu denjenigen, die ertränkt wurden.
11:44
وَقِيلَ And it was said waqīla
And it was said
يَـٰٓأَرْضُ O earth yāarḍu
O earth
ٱبْلَعِى Swallow ib'laʿī
Swallow
مَآءَكِ your water māaki
your water
وَيَـٰسَمَآءُ and O sky wayāsamāu
and O sky
أَقْلِعِى Withhold aqliʿī
Withhold
وَغِيضَ And subsided waghīḍa
And subsided
ٱلْمَآءُ the water l-māu
the water
وَقُضِىَ and was fulfilled waquḍiya
and was fulfilled
ٱلْأَمْرُ the Command l-amru
the Command
وَٱسْتَوَتْ And it rested wa-is'tawat
And it rested
عَلَى on ʿalā
on
ٱلْجُودِىِّ ۖ the Judi l-jūdiyi
the Judi
وَقِيلَ And it was said waqīla
And it was said
بُعْدًۭا Away buʿ'dan
Away
لِّلْقَوْمِ with the people lil'qawmi
with the people
ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers l-ẓālimīna
the wrongdoers
٤٤ (44)
(44)
Und es wurde gesagt: O Erde, schlucke dein Wasser! O Himmel, halt ein! Das Wasser nahm ab, und die Angelegenheit war entschieden. Es saß auf dem (Berg) Gudi auf. Und es wurde gesagt: Weg mit dem ungerechten Volk!
11:45
وَنَادَىٰ And Nuh called wanādā
And Nuh called
نُوحٌۭ And Nuh called nūḥun
And Nuh called
رَّبَّهُۥ (to) his Lord rabbahu
(to) his Lord
فَقَالَ and said faqāla
and said
رَبِّ O my Lord rabbi
O my Lord
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱبْنِى my son ib'nī
my son
مِنْ (is) of min
(is) of
أَهْلِى my family ahlī
my family
وَإِنَّ and indeed wa-inna
and indeed
وَعْدَكَ Your promise waʿdaka
Your promise
ٱلْحَقُّ (is) true l-ḥaqu
(is) true
وَأَنتَ and You wa-anta
and You
أَحْكَمُ (are) the Most Just aḥkamu
(are) the Most Just
ٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ (of) the judges l-ḥākimīna
(of) the judges
٤٥ (45)
(45)
Und Nuh rief zu seinem Herrn. Er sagte: Mein Herr, mein Sohn gehört zu meinen Angehörigen, und Dein Versprechen ist die Wahrheit, und Du bist der Weiseste derer, die richten.
11:46
قَالَ He said qāla
He said
يَـٰنُوحُ O Nuh yānūḥu
O Nuh
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he innahu
Indeed, he
لَيْسَ (is) not laysa
(is) not
مِنْ of min
of
أَهْلِكَ ۖ your family ahlika
your family
إِنَّهُۥ indeed, [he] innahu
indeed, [he]
عَمَلٌ (his) deed ʿamalun
(his) deed
غَيْرُ (is) other than ghayru
(is) other than
صَـٰلِحٍۢ ۖ righteous ṣāliḥin
righteous
فَلَا so (do) not falā
so (do) not
تَسْـَٔلْنِ ask Me tasalni
ask Me
مَا (about) what
(about) what
لَيْسَ not laysa
not
لَكَ you have laka
you have
بِهِۦ of it bihi
of it
عِلْمٌ ۖ any knowledge ʿil'mun
any knowledge
إِنِّىٓ Indeed, I innī
Indeed, I
أَعِظُكَ admonish you aʿiẓuka
admonish you
أَن lest an
lest
تَكُونَ you be takūna
you be
مِنَ among mina
among
ٱلْجَـٰهِلِينَ the ignorant l-jāhilīna
the ignorant
٤٦ (46)
(46)
Er sagte: O Nuh, er gehört nicht zu deinen Angehörigen. Er ist eine Tat, die nicht rechtschaffen ist. So bitte Mich nicht um etwas, wovon du kein Wissen hast! Ich ermahne dich, nicht zu den Toren zu gehören.
11:47
قَالَ He said qāla

رَبِّ O my Lord rabbi

أَعُوذُ seek refuge aʿūdhu
seek refuge
بِكَ in You bika

أَنْ that an

أَسْـَٔلَكَ I (should) ask You asalaka

لَيْسَ not laysa

لِى I have
I have
بِهِۦ of it bihi
of it
عِلْمٌۭ ۖ knowledge ʿil'mun
knowledge
وَإِلَّا And unless wa-illā
And unless
تَغْفِرْ You forgive taghfir
You forgive
لِى me
me
وَتَرْحَمْنِىٓ and You have mercy on me watarḥamnī
and You have mercy on me
أَكُن I will be akun
I will be
مِّنَ among mina
among
ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ the losers l-khāsirīna
the losers
٤٧ (47)
(47)
Er sagte: Mein Herr, ich suche Schutz bei Dir (davor), daß ich Dich um etwas bitte, wovon ich kein Wissen habe! Wenn Du mir nicht vergibst und Dich meiner nicht erbarmst, werde ich zu den Verlierern gehören.
11:48
قِيلَ It was said qīla

يَـٰنُوحُ O Nuh yānūḥu

ٱهْبِطْ Go down ih'biṭ

بِسَلَـٰمٍۢ with peace bisalāmin
with peace
مِّنَّا from Us minnā
from Us
وَبَرَكَـٰتٍ and blessings wabarakātin
and blessings
عَلَيْكَ on you ʿalayka
on you
وَعَلَىٰٓ and on waʿalā
and on
أُمَمٍۢ the nations umamin
the nations
مِّمَّن from those mimman
from those
مَّعَكَ ۚ with you maʿaka
with you
وَأُمَمٌۭ But (to other) nations wa-umamun
But (to other) nations
سَنُمَتِّعُهُمْ We will grant enjoyment sanumattiʿuhum
We will grant enjoyment
ثُمَّ then thumma
then
يَمَسُّهُم will touch them yamassuhum
will touch them
مِّنَّا from Us minnā
from Us
عَذَابٌ a punishment ʿadhābun
a punishment
أَلِيمٌۭ painful alīmun
painful
٤٨ (48)
(48)
Es wurde gesagt: O Nuh, steige hinunter in Frieden von Uns und mit Segnungen über dich und über Gemeinschaften von denen, die mit dir sind. Es gibt (aber auch) Gemeinschaften, denen Wir einen Nießbrauch geben werden, hierauf wird ihnen schmerzhafte Strafe von Uns widerfahren.
11:49
تِلْكَ This til'ka

أَنۢبَآءِ the news anbāi

ٱلْغَيْبِ (of) the unseen l-ghaybi
(of) the unseen
نُوحِيهَآ (which) We reveal nūḥīhā
(which) We reveal
إِلَيْكَ ۖ to you ilayka

مَا Not
Not
كُنتَ you were kunta
you were
تَعْلَمُهَآ knowing it taʿlamuhā
knowing it
أَنتَ you anta
you
وَلَا and not walā
and not
قَوْمُكَ your people qawmuka
your people
مِن from min
from
قَبْلِ before qabli
before
هَـٰذَا ۖ this hādhā
this
فَٱصْبِرْ ۖ So be patient fa-iṣ'bir
So be patient
إِنَّ indeed inna
indeed
ٱلْعَـٰقِبَةَ the end l-ʿāqibata
the end
لِلْمُتَّقِينَ (is) for the God fearing lil'muttaqīna
(is) for the God fearing
٤٩ (49)
(49)
Diese (Nachrichten) gehören zu den Nachrichten vom Verborgenen, die Wir dir (als Offenbarung) eingeben. Du wußtest sie zuvor nicht, weder du noch dein Volk. Sei nun standhaft! Das (gute) Ende gehört den Gottesfürchtigen.
11:50
وَإِلَىٰ And to wa-ilā
And to
عَادٍ Aad ʿādin
Aad
أَخَاهُمْ (We sent) their brother akhāhum
(We sent) their brother
هُودًۭا ۚ Hud hūdan
Hud
قَالَ He said qāla
He said
يَـٰقَوْمِ O my people yāqawmi
O my people
ٱعْبُدُوا۟ Worship uʿ'budū
Worship
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
مَا not
not
لَكُم (is) for you lakum
(is) for you
مِّنْ any min
any
إِلَـٰهٍ god ilāhin
god
غَيْرُهُۥٓ ۖ other than Him ghayruhu
other than Him
إِنْ Not in
Not
أَنتُمْ you antum
you
إِلَّا (are) but illā
(are) but
مُفْتَرُونَ inventors muf'tarūna
inventors
٥٠ (50)
(50)
Und (Wir sandten) zu ’Ad ihren Bruder Hud. Er sagte: O mein Volk, dient Allah! Keinen Gott habt ihr außer Ihm. Ihr ersinnt ja nur Lügen.
11:51
يَـٰقَوْمِ O my people yāqawmi
O my people
لَآ Not
Not
أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ I ask you asalukum
I ask you
عَلَيْهِ for it ʿalayhi
for it
أَجْرًا ۖ any reward ajran
any reward
إِنْ Not in
Not
أَجْرِىَ (is) my reward ajriya
(is) my reward
إِلَّا except illā
except
عَلَى from ʿalā
from
ٱلَّذِى the One Who alladhī
the One Who
فَطَرَنِىٓ ۚ created me faṭaranī
created me
أَفَلَا Then will not afalā
Then will not
تَعْقِلُونَ you use reason taʿqilūna
you use reason
٥١ (51)
(51)
O mein Volk, ich verlange von euch keinen Lohn dafür. Mein Lohn obliegt nur demjenigen, Der mich erschaffen hat. Begreift ihr denn nicht?
11:52
وَيَـٰقَوْمِ And O my people wayāqawmi
And O my people
ٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ Ask forgiveness is'taghfirū
Ask forgiveness
رَبَّكُمْ (of) your Lord rabbakum
(of) your Lord
ثُمَّ then thumma
then
تُوبُوٓا۟ turn in repentance tūbū
turn in repentance
إِلَيْهِ to Him ilayhi
to Him
يُرْسِلِ He will send yur'sili
He will send
ٱلسَّمَآءَ (from) the sky (rain) l-samāa
(from) the sky (rain)
عَلَيْكُم upon you ʿalaykum
upon you
مِّدْرَارًۭا (in) abundance mid'rāran
(in) abundance
وَيَزِدْكُمْ and increase you wayazid'kum
and increase you
قُوَّةً (in) strength quwwatan
(in) strength
إِلَىٰ (added) to ilā
(added) to
قُوَّتِكُمْ your strength quwwatikum
your strength
وَلَا And (do) not walā
And (do) not
تَتَوَلَّوْا۟ turn away tatawallaw
turn away
مُجْرِمِينَ (as) criminals muj'rimīna
(as) criminals
٥٢ (52)
(52)
Und, o mein Volk, bittet euren Herrn um Vergebung, hierauf bereut vor Ihm, so wird Er den Regen auf euch ergiebig (herab)senden und euch (noch mehr) Kraft zu eurer Kraft hinzufügen. Und kehrt euch nicht als Übeltäter ab!
11:53
قَالُوا۟ They said qālū

يَـٰهُودُ O Hud yāhūdu
O Hud
مَا You have not brought us
You have not brought us
جِئْتَنَا You have not brought us ji'tanā
You have not brought us
بِبَيِّنَةٍۢ clear proofs bibayyinatin
clear proofs
وَمَا and not wamā
and not
نَحْنُ we naḥnu
we
بِتَارِكِىٓ (will) leave bitārikī
(will) leave
ءَالِهَتِنَا our gods ālihatinā
our gods
عَن on ʿan
on
قَوْلِكَ your saying qawlika
your saying
وَمَا and not wamā
and not
نَحْنُ we (are) naḥnu
we (are)
لَكَ in you laka
in you
بِمُؤْمِنِينَ believers bimu'minīna
believers
٥٣ (53)
(53)
Sie sagten: O Hud, du hast uns keinen klaren Beweis gebracht. Wir wollen nicht unsere Götter auf dein Wort hin verlassen, und wir werden deinetwegen nicht gläubig werden.
11:54

قَالَ He said qāla
He said
إِنِّىٓ Indeed, I innī
Indeed, I
أُشْهِدُ [I] call Allah to witness ush'hidu
[I] call Allah to witness
ٱللَّهَ [I] call Allah to witness l-laha
[I] call Allah to witness
وَٱشْهَدُوٓا۟ and (you) bear witness wa-ish'hadū
and (you) bear witness
أَنِّى that I am annī
that I am
بَرِىٓءٌۭ innocent barīon
innocent
مِّمَّا of what mimmā
of what
تُشْرِكُونَ you associate tush'rikūna
you associate
٥٤ (54)
(54)
Wir können nur sagen, daß einige unserer Götter dich mit etwas Bösem heimgesucht haben. Er sagte: Ich nehme Allah zum Zeugen, und bezeugt auch ihr, daß ich mich lossage von dem, was ihr (Ihm) beigesellt
11:55

außer Ihm. So schmiedet alle gegen mich eure List und gewährt mir hierauf keinen Aufschub!
11:56

تَوَكَّلْتُ [I] put my trust tawakkaltu
[I] put my trust
عَلَى upon ʿalā

ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi

رَبِّى my Lord rabbī

وَرَبِّكُم ۚ and your Lord warabbikum
and your Lord
مَّا (There is) not

مِن of a moving creature min

دَآبَّةٍ of a moving creature dābbatin
of a moving creature
إِلَّا but illā
but
هُوَ He huwa
He
ءَاخِذٌۢ has grasp ākhidhun
has grasp
بِنَاصِيَتِهَآ ۚ of its forelock bināṣiyatihā
of its forelock
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
رَبِّى my Lord rabbī
my Lord
عَلَىٰ (is) on ʿalā
(is) on
صِرَٰطٍۢ a path ṣirāṭin
a path
مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ straight mus'taqīmin
straight
٥٦ (56)
(56)
Ich verlasse mich auf Allah, meinen Herrn und euren Herrn. Es gibt kein Tier, das Er nicht an seiner Stirnlocke hielte. Gewiß, mein Herr befindet sich auf einem geraden Weg.
11:57
فَإِن So if fa-in

تَوَلَّوْا۟ you turn away tawallaw
you turn away
فَقَدْ then verily faqad
then verily
أَبْلَغْتُكُم I have conveyed to you ablaghtukum
I have conveyed to you
مَّآ what
what
أُرْسِلْتُ I was sent ur'sil'tu
I was sent
بِهِۦٓ with [it] bihi
with [it]
إِلَيْكُمْ ۚ to you ilaykum
to you
وَيَسْتَخْلِفُ And my Lord will give succession wayastakhlifu
And my Lord will give succession
رَبِّى And my Lord will give succession rabbī
And my Lord will give succession
قَوْمًا (to) a people qawman
(to) a people
غَيْرَكُمْ other than you ghayrakum
other than you
وَلَا and not walā
and not
تَضُرُّونَهُۥ you will harm Him taḍurrūnahu
you will harm Him
شَيْـًٔا ۚ (in) anything shayan
(in) anything
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
رَبِّى my Lord rabbī
my Lord
عَلَىٰ (is) on ʿalā
(is) on
كُلِّ all kulli
all
شَىْءٍ things shayin
things
حَفِيظٌۭ a Guardian ḥafīẓun
a Guardian
٥٧ (57)
(57)
Wenn ihr euch abkehrt, so habe ich euch ja das (von der Botschaft) ausgerichtet, womit ich zu euch gesandt wurde. Mein Herr wird ein anderes Volk nach euch folgen lassen, und ihr könnt Ihm keinerlei Schaden zufügen. Gewiß, mein Herr ist Hüter über alles.
11:58
وَلَمَّا And when walammā

أَمْرُنَا Our command amrunā

نَجَّيْنَا We saved najjaynā
We saved
هُودًۭا Hud hūdan
Hud
وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who wa-alladhīna
and those who
ءَامَنُوا۟ believed āmanū
believed
مَعَهُۥ with him maʿahu
with him
بِرَحْمَةٍۢ by a Mercy biraḥmatin
by a Mercy
مِّنَّا from Us minnā
from Us
وَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُم and We saved them wanajjaynāhum
and We saved them
مِّنْ from min
from
عَذَابٍ a punishment ʿadhābin
a punishment
غَلِيظٍۢ severe ghalīẓin
severe
٥٨ (58)
(58)
Als nun Unser Befehl kam, erretteten Wir Hud und diejenigen, die mit ihm glaubten, durch Barmherzigkeit von Uns; und Wir erretteten sie vor harter Strafe.
11:59
وَتِلْكَ And this watil'ka
And this
عَادٌۭ ۖ (was) Aad ʿādun
(was) Aad
جَحَدُوا۟ they rejected jaḥadū
they rejected
بِـَٔايَـٰتِ (the) Signs biāyāti
(the) Signs
رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord rabbihim
(of) their Lord
وَعَصَوْا۟ and disobeyed waʿaṣaw
and disobeyed
رُسُلَهُۥ His Messengers rusulahu
His Messengers
وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ and followed wa-ittabaʿū
and followed
أَمْرَ (the) command amra
(the) command
كُلِّ (of) every kulli
(of) every
جَبَّارٍ tyrant jabbārin
tyrant
عَنِيدٍۢ obstinate ʿanīdin
obstinate
٥٩ (59)
(59)
Das waren die ’Ad. Sie verleugneten die Zeichen ihres Herrn und widersetzten sich Seinen Gesandten und folgten dem Befehl eines jeden trotzigen Gewalthabers.
11:60
وَأُتْبِعُوا۟ And they were followed wa-ut'biʿū
And they were followed
فِى in

هَـٰذِهِ this hādhihi
this
ٱلدُّنْيَا world l-dun'yā
world
لَعْنَةًۭ (with) a curse laʿnatan
(with) a curse
وَيَوْمَ and (on the) Day wayawma
and (on the) Day
ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗ (of) the Resurrection l-qiyāmati
(of) the Resurrection
أَلَآ No doubt alā
No doubt
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
عَادًۭا Aad ʿādan
Aad
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved kafarū
disbelieved
رَبَّهُمْ ۗ their Lord rabbahum
their Lord
أَلَا So alā
So
بُعْدًۭا away buʿ'dan
away
لِّعَادٍۢ with Aad liʿādin
with Aad
قَوْمِ (the) people qawmi
(the) people
هُودٍۢ (of) Hud hūdin
(of) Hud
٦٠ (60)
(60)
Aber ein Fluch folgte ihnen im Diesseits nach und (wird ihnen) am Tag der Auferstehung (nachfolgen). Sicherlich, die ’Ad verleugneten ihren Herrn. Aber ja, weg mit ’Ad, dem Volk von Hud!
11:61
۞ وَإِلَىٰ And to wa-ilā

أَخَاهُمْ (We sent) their brother akhāhum

صَـٰلِحًۭا ۚ Salih ṣāliḥan

ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth l-arḍi

وَٱسْتَعْمَرَكُمْ and settled you wa-is'taʿmarakum
and settled you
فِيهَا in it fīhā
in it
فَٱسْتَغْفِرُوهُ So ask forgiveness of Him fa-is'taghfirūhu
So ask forgiveness of Him
ثُمَّ then thumma
then
تُوبُوٓا۟ turn in repentance tūbū
turn in repentance
إِلَيْهِ ۚ to Him ilayhi
to Him
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
رَبِّى my Lord rabbī
my Lord
قَرِيبٌۭ (is) near qarībun
(is) near
مُّجِيبٌۭ All-Responsive mujībun
All-Responsive
٦١ (61)

Und (Wir sandten) zu Tamud ihren Bruder Salih. Er sagte: O mein Volk, dient Allah! Keinen Gott habt ihr außer Ihm. Er hat euch aus der Erde entstehen lassen und sie euch zu besiedeln gegeben. So bittet Ihn um Vergebung, hierauf bereut vor Ihm. Mein Herr ist nahe und erhört (die Gebete).
11:62
قَالُوا۟ They said qālū

يَـٰصَـٰلِحُ O Salih yāṣāliḥu

قَدْ Verily qad
Verily
كُنتَ you were kunta

فِينَا among us fīnā
among us
مَرْجُوًّۭا the one in whom hope was placed marjuwwan

قَبْلَ before qabla

هَـٰذَآ ۖ this hādhā

أَتَنْهَىٰنَآ Do you forbid us atanhānā
Do you forbid us
أَن that an
that
نَّعْبُدَ we worship naʿbuda
we worship
مَا what
what
يَعْبُدُ our forefathers worshipped yaʿbudu
our forefathers worshipped
ءَابَآؤُنَا our forefathers worshipped ābāunā
our forefathers worshipped
وَإِنَّنَا And indeed we wa-innanā
And indeed we
لَفِى surely (are) in lafī
surely (are) in
شَكٍّۢ doubt shakkin
doubt
مِّمَّا about what mimmā
about what
تَدْعُونَآ you call us tadʿūnā
you call us
إِلَيْهِ to it ilayhi
to it
مُرِيبٍۢ suspicious murībin
suspicious
٦٢ (62)
(62)
Sie sagten: O Salih, du warst zuvor unter uns einer, auf den man Hoffnung setzte. Willst du uns denn verbieten, dem zu dienen, dem unsere Väter dienen? Wir sind fürwahr über das, wozu du uns aufrufst, in einem starken Zweifel.
11:63
قَالَ He said qāla

يَـٰقَوْمِ O my people yāqawmi

أَرَءَيْتُمْ Do you see ara-aytum

كُنتُ I am kuntu

عَلَىٰ on ʿalā

بَيِّنَةٍۢ a clear proof bayyinatin

رَّبِّى my Lord rabbī

وَءَاتَىٰنِى and He has given me waātānī
and He has given me
مِنْهُ from Him min'hu
from Him
رَحْمَةًۭ a Mercy raḥmatan
a Mercy
فَمَن then who faman
then who
يَنصُرُنِى (can) help me yanṣurunī
(can) help me
مِنَ against mina
against
ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi
Allah
إِنْ if in
if
عَصَيْتُهُۥ ۖ I (were to) disobey Him ʿaṣaytuhu
I (were to) disobey Him
فَمَا So not famā
So not
تَزِيدُونَنِى you would increase me tazīdūnanī
you would increase me
غَيْرَ but ghayra
but
تَخْسِيرٍۢ (in) loss takhsīrin
(in) loss
٦٣ (63)
(63)
Er sagte: O mein Volk, was meint ihr, wenn ich mich auf einen klaren Beweis von meinem Herrn stütze und Er mir Barmherzigkeit von Sich hat zukommen lassen, wer wird mir gegen Allah helfen, wenn ich mich Ihm widersetze? Ihr würdet mir nur (meinen) Verlust mehren.
11:64
وَيَـٰقَوْمِ And O my people wayāqawmi
And O my people
هَـٰذِهِۦ This hādhihi
This
نَاقَةُ she-camel nāqatu
she-camel
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
لَكُمْ (is) for you lakum
(is) for you
ءَايَةًۭ a Sign āyatan
a Sign
فَذَرُوهَا so leave her fadharūhā
so leave her
تَأْكُلْ to eat takul
to eat
فِىٓ in
in
أَرْضِ the earth arḍi
the earth
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلَا and (do) not walā
and (do) not
تَمَسُّوهَا touch her tamassūhā
touch her
بِسُوٓءٍۢ with harm bisūin
with harm
فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ lest will seize you fayakhudhakum
lest will seize you
عَذَابٌۭ a punishment ʿadhābun
a punishment
قَرِيبٌۭ impending qarībun
impending
٦٤ (64)
(64)
Und, o mein Volk, dies ist die Kamelstute Allahs, euch zum Zeichen. Laßt sie auf Allahs Erde weiden und fügt ihr nichts Böses zu, sonst überkommt euch eine baldige Strafe.
11:65
فَعَقَرُوهَا But they hamstrung her faʿaqarūhā
But they hamstrung her
فَقَالَ So he said faqāla
So he said
تَمَتَّعُوا۟ Enjoy (yourselves) tamattaʿū
Enjoy (yourselves)
فِى in

دَارِكُمْ your home(s) dārikum
your home(s)
ثَلَـٰثَةَ (for) three thalāthata
(for) three
أَيَّامٍۢ ۖ days ayyāmin
days
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika
That
وَعْدٌ (is) a promise waʿdun
(is) a promise
غَيْرُ not ghayru
not
مَكْذُوبٍۢ (to) be belied makdhūbin
(to) be belied
٦٥ (65)
(65)
Aber sie schnitten ihr die Sehnen durch. Da sagte er: Genießt (euer Leben) in eurer Wohnstätte noch drei Tage lang. Dies ist ein Versprechen, das nicht erlogen ist.
11:66
فَلَمَّا So when falammā

أَمْرُنَا Our command amrunā

نَجَّيْنَا We saved najjaynā
We saved
صَـٰلِحًۭا Salih ṣāliḥan

وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who wa-alladhīna

ءَامَنُوا۟ believed āmanū
believed
مَعَهُۥ with him maʿahu
with him
بِرَحْمَةٍۢ by a Mercy biraḥmatin
by a Mercy
مِّنَّا from Us minnā
from Us
وَمِنْ and from wamin
and from
خِزْىِ (the) disgrace khiz'yi
(the) disgrace
يَوْمِئِذٍ ۗ (of) that Day yawmi-idhin
(of) that Day
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
رَبَّكَ your Lord rabbaka
your Lord
هُوَ He huwa
He
ٱلْقَوِىُّ (is) All-Strong l-qawiyu
(is) All-Strong
ٱلْعَزِيزُ All-Mighty l-ʿazīzu
All-Mighty
٦٦ (66)
(66)
Als nun Unser Befehl kam, erretteten Wir Salih und diejenigen, die mit ihm glaubten, durch Barmherzigkeit von Uns, auch vor der Schande jenes Tages. Gewiß, dein Herr ist ja der Starke und Allmächtige.
11:67
وَأَخَذَ And seized wa-akhadha
And seized
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
ظَلَمُوا۟ wronged ẓalamū
wronged
ٱلصَّيْحَةُ the thunderous blast l-ṣayḥatu
the thunderous blast
فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ then they became fa-aṣbaḥū
then they became
فِى in
in
دِيَـٰرِهِمْ their homes diyārihim
their homes
جَـٰثِمِينَ fallen prone jāthimīna
fallen prone
٦٧ (67)
(67)
Und es ergriff diejenigen, die Unrecht taten, der Schrei, und so lagen sie morgens in ihren Wohnstätten auf den Brüsten da,
11:68
كَأَن As if ka-an
As if
لَّمْ not lam
not
يَغْنَوْا۟ they (had) prospered yaghnaw
they (had) prospered
فِيهَآ ۗ therein fīhā

أَلَآ No doubt alā
No doubt
إِنَّ indeed inna
indeed
ثَمُودَا۟ Thamud thamūdā

كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved kafarū

رَبَّهُمْ ۗ (in) their Lord rabbahum
(in) their Lord
أَلَا so alā
so
بُعْدًۭا away buʿ'dan
away
لِّثَمُودَ with Thamud lithamūda
with Thamud
٦٨ (68)
(68)
als hätten sie (überhaupt) nicht darin gewohnt. Sicherlich, die Tamud verleugneten ihren Herrn. Aber ja, weg mit Tamud!
11:69
وَلَقَدْ And certainly walaqad
And certainly
جَآءَتْ came jāat

رُسُلُنَآ Our messengers rusulunā
Our messengers
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (to) Ibrahim ib'rāhīma
(to) Ibrahim
بِٱلْبُشْرَىٰ with glad tidings bil-bush'rā

قَالُوا۟ they said qālū
they said
سَلَـٰمًۭا ۖ Peace salāman
Peace
قَالَ He said qāla
He said
سَلَـٰمٌۭ ۖ Peace salāmun
Peace
فَمَا and not he delayed famā
and not he delayed
لَبِثَ and not he delayed labitha
and not he delayed
أَن to an
to
جَآءَ bring jāa
bring
بِعِجْلٍ a calf biʿij'lin
a calf
حَنِيذٍۢ roasted ḥanīdhin
roasted
٦٩ (69)
(69)
Unsere Gesandten kamen bereits zu Ibrahim mit der frohen Botschaft. Sie sagten: Frieden! Er sagte: Friede! Er verweilte nicht lange, da brachte er ein gebratenes Kalb herbei.
11:70
فَلَمَّا But when falammā

وَأَوْجَسَ and felt apprehension wa-awjasa

مِنْهُمْ from them min'hum

خِيفَةًۭ ۚ [a fear] khīfatan
[a fear]
قَالُوا۟ They said qālū
They said
لَا (Do) not
(Do) not
تَخَفْ fear takhaf
fear
إِنَّآ Indeed, we innā
Indeed, we
أُرْسِلْنَآ [we] have been sent ur'sil'nā
[we] have been sent
إِلَىٰ to ilā
to
قَوْمِ (the) people qawmi
(the) people
لُوطٍۢ (of) Lut lūṭin
(of) Lut
٧٠ (70)
(70)
Als er aber sah, daß ihre Hände nicht danach hinlangten, fand er es von ihnen befremdlich, und er empfand Furcht vor ihnen. Sie sagten: Fürchte dich nicht! Wir sind zu dem Volk Luts gesandt.
11:71
وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ And his wife wa-im'ra-atuhu
And his wife
قَآئِمَةٌۭ (was) standing qāimatun
(was) standing
فَضَحِكَتْ and she laughed faḍaḥikat
and she laughed
فَبَشَّرْنَـٰهَا Then We gave her glad tidings fabasharnāhā
Then We gave her glad tidings
بِإِسْحَـٰقَ of Isaac bi-is'ḥāqa
of Isaac
وَمِن and after wamin
and after
وَرَآءِ and after warāi
and after
إِسْحَـٰقَ Isaac is'ḥāqa
Isaac
يَعْقُوبَ (of) Yaqub yaʿqūba
(of) Yaqub
٧١ (71)
(71)
Seine Frau stand dabei. Sie lachte, und da verkündeten Wir ihr Ishaq, und nach Ishaq Ya’qub.
11:72
قَالَتْ She said qālat
She said
يَـٰوَيْلَتَىٰٓ Woe to me yāwaylatā
Woe to me
ءَأَلِدُ Shall I bear a child a-alidu
Shall I bear a child
وَأَنَا۠ while I am wa-anā
while I am
عَجُوزٌۭ an old woman ʿajūzun
an old woman
وَهَـٰذَا and this wahādhā
and this
بَعْلِى my husband baʿlī
my husband
شَيْخًا ۖ (is) an old man shaykhan
(is) an old man
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
هَـٰذَا this hādhā
this
لَشَىْءٌ (is) surely a thing lashayon
(is) surely a thing
عَجِيبٌۭ amazing ʿajībun
amazing
٧٢ (72)
(72)
Sie sagte: O wehe mir, soll ich noch gebären, wo ich doch alt bin, und dies ist doch mein Ehemann, schon ein Greis? Das ist fürwahr eine verwunderliche Sache.
11:73
قَالُوٓا۟ They said qālū
They said
أَتَعْجَبِينَ Are you amazed ataʿjabīna
Are you amazed
مِنْ at min
at
أَمْرِ (the) decree of Allah amri
(the) decree of Allah
ٱللَّهِ ۖ (the) decree of Allah l-lahi
(the) decree of Allah
رَحْمَتُ The Mercy of Allah raḥmatu
The Mercy of Allah
ٱللَّهِ The Mercy of Allah l-lahi
The Mercy of Allah
وَبَرَكَـٰتُهُۥ and His blessings wabarakātuhu
and His blessings
عَلَيْكُمْ (be) upon you ʿalaykum
(be) upon you
أَهْلَ people ahla
people
ٱلْبَيْتِ ۚ (of) the house l-bayti
(of) the house
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He innahu
Indeed, He
حَمِيدٌۭ (is) All-Praiseworthy ḥamīdun
(is) All-Praiseworthy
مَّجِيدٌۭ All-Glorious majīdun
All-Glorious
٧٣ (73)
(73)
Sie sagten: Wunderst du dich über den Befehl Allahs? Die Barmherzigkeit Allahs und Seine Segnungen seien auf euch, Angehörige des Hauses! Er ist Lobenswürdig und Ruhmvoll.
11:74
فَلَمَّا And when falammā

ذَهَبَ (had) gone away dhahaba
(had) gone away
عَنْ from ʿan
from
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim ib'rāhīma
Ibrahim
ٱلرَّوْعُ the fright l-rawʿu
the fright
وَجَآءَتْهُ and had reached him wajāathu
and had reached him
ٱلْبُشْرَىٰ the glad tidings l-bush'rā
the glad tidings
يُجَـٰدِلُنَا he argued with Us yujādilunā
he argued with Us
فِى concerning
concerning
قَوْمِ the people qawmi
the people
لُوطٍ of Lut lūṭin
of Lut
٧٤ (74)
(74)
Als die Angst von Ibrahim gewichen und die frohe Botschaft zu ihm gekommen war, begann er mit Uns über das Volk Luts zu streiten.
11:75
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim ib'rāhīma
Ibrahim
لَحَلِيمٌ (was) certainly forbearing laḥalīmun
(was) certainly forbearing
أَوَّٰهٌۭ imploring awwāhun
imploring
مُّنِيبٌۭ and oft-returning munībun
and oft-returning
٧٥ (75)
(75)
Ibrahim war wahrlich nachsichtig, weichherzig und reuig.
11:76
يَـٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ O Ibrahim yāib'rāhīmu
O Ibrahim
أَعْرِضْ Turn away aʿriḍ
Turn away
عَنْ from ʿan
from
هَـٰذَآ ۖ this hādhā
this
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, it innahu
Indeed, it
قَدْ certainly qad
certainly
جَآءَ has come jāa
has come
أَمْرُ (the) Command amru
(the) Command
رَبِّكَ ۖ (of) your Lord rabbika
(of) your Lord
وَإِنَّهُمْ and indeed, [they] wa-innahum
and indeed, [they]
ءَاتِيهِمْ (will) come (for) them ātīhim
(will) come (for) them
عَذَابٌ a punishment ʿadhābun
a punishment
غَيْرُ (which) cannot ghayru
(which) cannot
مَرْدُودٍۢ (be) repelled mardūdin
(be) repelled
٧٦ (76)
(76)
O Ibrahim, lasse davon ab! Der Befehl deines Herrn ist nun gekommen. Über sie kommt eine Strafe, die unwiderruflich ist.
11:77
وَلَمَّا And when walammā

جَآءَتْ came jāat

رُسُلُنَا Our messengers rusulunā
Our messengers
لُوطًۭا (to) Lut lūṭan
(to) Lut
سِىٓءَ he was distressed sīa
he was distressed
بِهِمْ for them bihim
for them
وَضَاقَ and felt straitened waḍāqa
and felt straitened
بِهِمْ for them bihim
for them
ذَرْعًۭا (and) uneasy dharʿan
(and) uneasy
وَقَالَ and said waqāla
and said
هَـٰذَا This hādhā
This
يَوْمٌ (is) a day yawmun
(is) a day
عَصِيبٌۭ distressful ʿaṣībun
distressful
٧٧ (77)
(77)
Und als Unsere Gesandten zu Lut kamen, geriet er ihretwegen in eine böse Lage und war durch ihre Anwesenheit beklommen. Er sagte: Das ist ein drangsalvoller Tag.
11:78
وَجَآءَهُۥ And came (to) him wajāahu
And came (to) him
قَوْمُهُۥ his people qawmuhu
his people
يُهْرَعُونَ rushing yuh'raʿūna
rushing
إِلَيْهِ to him ilayhi
to him
وَمِن and before wamin
and before
قَبْلُ and before qablu
and before
كَانُوا۟ they (had) been kānū
they (had) been
يَعْمَلُونَ doing yaʿmalūna
doing
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ ۚ the evil deeds l-sayiāti
the evil deeds
قَالَ He said qāla
He said
يَـٰقَوْمِ O my people yāqawmi
O my people
هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ These hāulāi
These
بَنَاتِى (are) my daughters banātī
(are) my daughters
هُنَّ they hunna
they
أَطْهَرُ (are) purer aṭharu
(are) purer
لَكُمْ ۖ for you lakum
for you
فَٱتَّقُوا۟ So fear fa-ittaqū
So fear
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
وَلَا and (do) not walā
and (do) not
تُخْزُونِ disgrace me tukh'zūni
disgrace me
فِى concerning
concerning
ضَيْفِىٓ ۖ my guests ḍayfī
my guests
أَلَيْسَ Is (there) not alaysa
Is (there) not
مِنكُمْ among you minkum
among you
رَجُلٌۭ a man rajulun
a man
رَّشِيدٌۭ right-minded rashīdun
right-minded
٧٨ (78)
(78)
Seine Leute kamen eilig zu ihm getrieben. Zuvor pflegten sie böse Taten zu begehen. Er sagte: O mein Volk, dies hier sind meine Töchter, sie sind reiner für euch. So fürchtet Allah und stürzt mich nicht um meiner Gäste willen in Schande! Gibt es denn unter euch keinen besonnenen Mann?
11:79
قَالُوا۟ They said qālū

لَقَدْ Verily laqad
Verily
عَلِمْتَ you know ʿalim'ta
you know
مَا (that) not

لَنَا we have lanā
we have
فِى concerning
concerning
بَنَاتِكَ your daughters banātika
your daughters
مِنْ any min

حَقٍّۢ right ḥaqqin
right
وَإِنَّكَ And indeed, you wa-innaka
And indeed, you
لَتَعْلَمُ surely know lataʿlamu
surely know
مَا what
what
نُرِيدُ we want nurīdu
we want

Sie sagten: Du weißt sehr wohl, daß wir kein Recht auf deine Töchter haben, und du weißt fürwahr, was wir wollen.
11:80
قَالَ He said qāla

لَوْ If law

أَنَّ that anna

لِى I had

بِكُمْ over you bikum
over you
قُوَّةً power quwwatan
power
أَوْ or aw
or
ءَاوِىٓ I could take refuge āwī
I could take refuge
إِلَىٰ in ilā

رُكْنٍۢ a support ruk'nin

شَدِيدٍۢ strong shadīdin
strong

Er sagte: Hätte ich doch Kraft (genug), um euch zu widerstehen, oder könnte ich nur bei einer starken Stütze Zuflucht finden!
11:81
قَالُوا۟ They said qālū
They said
يَـٰلُوطُ O Lut yālūṭu
O Lut
إِنَّا Indeed, we innā
Indeed, we
رُسُلُ (are) messengers rusulu
(are) messengers
رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord rabbika
(of) your Lord
لَن never lan
never
يَصِلُوٓا۟ they will reach yaṣilū
they will reach
إِلَيْكَ ۖ you ilayka
you
فَأَسْرِ So travel fa-asri
So travel
بِأَهْلِكَ with your family bi-ahlika
with your family
بِقِطْعٍۢ in a part biqiṭ'ʿin
in a part
مِّنَ of mina
of
ٱلَّيْلِ the night al-layli
the night
وَلَا and (let) not walā
and (let) not
يَلْتَفِتْ look back yaltafit
look back
مِنكُمْ anyone of you minkum
anyone of you
أَحَدٌ anyone of you aḥadun
anyone of you
إِلَّا except illā
except
ٱمْرَأَتَكَ ۖ your wife im'ra-ataka
your wife
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, it innahu
Indeed, it
مُصِيبُهَا will strike her muṣībuhā
will strike her
مَآ what
what
أَصَابَهُمْ ۚ will strike them aṣābahum
will strike them
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
مَوْعِدَهُمُ their appointed time mawʿidahumu
their appointed time
ٱلصُّبْحُ ۚ (is) morning l-ṣub'ḥu
(is) morning
أَلَيْسَ Is not alaysa
Is not
ٱلصُّبْحُ the morning l-ṣub'ḥu
the morning
بِقَرِيبٍۢ near biqarībin
near
٨١ (81)
(81)
Sie sagten: O Lut, wir sind die Gesandten deines Herrn. Sie werden nicht zu dir gelangen. So zieh mit deinen Angehörigen in einem Teil der Nacht fort, und niemand von euch soll sich umwenden - außer deiner Frau! Gewiß, es wird sie treffen, was jene trifft. Der ihnen versprochene Zeitpunkt ist der Tagesanbruch. Ist nicht der Tagesanbruch schon nahe?
11:82
فَلَمَّا So when falammā

جَعَلْنَا We made jaʿalnā

عَـٰلِيَهَا its upside ʿāliyahā
its upside
سَافِلَهَا its downside sāfilahā

وَأَمْطَرْنَا and We rained wa-amṭarnā
and We rained
عَلَيْهَا upon them ʿalayhā
upon them
حِجَارَةًۭ stones ḥijāratan
stones
مِّن of min
of
سِجِّيلٍۢ baked clay sijjīlin
baked clay
مَّنضُودٍۢ (in) layers manḍūdin
(in) layers
٨٢ (82)
(82)
Als nun Unser Befehl kam, kehrten Wir das Oberste von ihr zuunterst und ließen auf sie Steine aus vorbereitetem gebrannten Lehm regnen,
11:83
مُّسَوَّمَةً Marked musawwamatan
Marked
عِندَ from ʿinda
from
رَبِّكَ ۖ your Lord rabbika
your Lord
وَمَا And not wamā
And not
هِىَ it hiya
it
مِنَ (is) from mina
(is) from
ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers l-ẓālimīna
the wrongdoers
بِبَعِيدٍۢ far bibaʿīdin
far
٨٣ (83)
(83)
bei deinem Herrn gekennzeichnete (Steine). Und sie liegt den Ungerechten nicht fern.
11:84
۞ وَإِلَىٰ And to wa-ilā
And to
مَدْيَنَ Madyan madyana
Madyan
أَخَاهُمْ their brother akhāhum
their brother
شُعَيْبًۭا ۚ Shuaib shuʿayban
Shuaib
قَالَ He said qāla
He said
يَـٰقَوْمِ O my people yāqawmi
O my people
ٱعْبُدُوا۟ Worship uʿ'budū
Worship
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
مَا not
not
لَكُم (is) for you lakum
(is) for you
مِّنْ any min
any
إِلَـٰهٍ god ilāhin
god
غَيْرُهُۥ ۖ other than Him ghayruhu
other than Him
وَلَا And (do) not walā
And (do) not
تَنقُصُوا۟ decrease tanquṣū
decrease
ٱلْمِكْيَالَ (from) the measure l-mik'yāla
(from) the measure
وَٱلْمِيزَانَ ۚ and the scale wal-mīzāna
and the scale
إِنِّىٓ Indeed, I innī

أَرَىٰكُم see you arākum
see you
بِخَيْرٍۢ in prosperity bikhayrin
in prosperity
وَإِنِّىٓ but indeed, I wa-innī
but indeed, I
أَخَافُ fear akhāfu
fear
عَلَيْكُمْ for you ʿalaykum
for you
عَذَابَ punishment ʿadhāba
punishment
يَوْمٍۢ (of) a Day yawmin
(of) a Day
مُّحِيطٍۢ all-encompassing muḥīṭin
all-encompassing
٨٤ (84)
(84)
Und (Wir sandten) zu Madyan ihren Bruder Su’aib. Er sagte: O mein Volk, dient Allah! Keinen Gott habt ihr außer Ihm. Laßt an Maß und Gewicht nichts fehlen! Ich sehe, es geht euch gut. Aber ich fürchte für euch die Strafe eines umfassenden Tages.
11:85
وَيَـٰقَوْمِ And O my people wayāqawmi
And O my people
أَوْفُوا۟ Give full awfū
Give full
ٱلْمِكْيَالَ measure l-mik'yāla
measure
وَٱلْمِيزَانَ and weight wal-mīzāna
and weight
بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖ in justice bil-qis'ṭi
in justice
وَلَا and (do) not walā
and (do) not
تَبْخَسُوا۟ deprive tabkhasū
deprive
ٱلنَّاسَ the people l-nāsa
the people
أَشْيَآءَهُمْ (of) their things ashyāahum
(of) their things
وَلَا and (do) not walā
and (do) not
تَعْثَوْا۟ act wickedly taʿthaw
act wickedly
فِى in
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth l-arḍi
the earth
مُفْسِدِينَ spreading corruption muf'sidīna
spreading corruption
٨٥ (85)
(85)
Und, o mein Volk, gebt volles Maß und Gewicht in Gerechtigkeit und schmälert den Menschen nicht ihre Sachen und richtet auf der Erde nicht unheilstiftend Verderben an!
11:86
بَقِيَّتُ (What) remains baqiyyatu
(What) remains
ٱللَّهِ (from) Allah l-lahi

خَيْرٌۭ (is) best khayrun
(is) best
لَّكُمْ for you lakum
for you
إِن if in

كُنتُم you are kuntum

أَنَا۠ I am anā

عَلَيْكُم over you ʿalaykum

بِحَفِيظٍۢ a guardian biḥafīẓin
a guardian
٨٦ (86)
(86)
Das Bleibende (an Lohn) von Allah ist besser für euch, wenn ihr gläubig seid. Und ich bin nicht Hüter über euch.
11:87
قَالُوا۟ They said qālū
They said
يَـٰشُعَيْبُ O Shuaib yāshuʿaybu
O Shuaib
أَصَلَوٰتُكَ Does your prayer aṣalatuka
Does your prayer
تَأْمُرُكَ command you tamuruka
command you
أَن that an
that
نَّتْرُكَ we leave natruka
we leave
مَا what
what
يَعْبُدُ worship yaʿbudu
worship
ءَابَآؤُنَآ our forefathers ābāunā
our forefathers
أَوْ or aw
or
أَن that an
that
نَّفْعَلَ we do nafʿala
we do
فِىٓ concerning
concerning
أَمْوَٰلِنَا our wealth amwālinā
our wealth
مَا what
what
نَشَـٰٓؤُا۟ ۖ we will nashāu
we will
إِنَّكَ Indeed you innaka
Indeed you
لَأَنتَ surely you la-anta
surely you
ٱلْحَلِيمُ (are) the forbearing l-ḥalīmu
(are) the forbearing
ٱلرَّشِيدُ the right-minded l-rashīdu
the right-minded
٨٧ (87)
(87)
Sie sagten: O Su’aib, befiehlt dir denn dein Gebet, daß wir das verlassen, dem unsere Väter dienen, oder (davon absehen), mit unserem Besitz zu tun, was wir wollen? Du bist fürwahr der Nachsichtige und Besonnene!
11:88
قَالَ He said qāla

يَـٰقَوْمِ O my people yāqawmi

أَرَءَيْتُمْ Do you see ara-aytum

عَلَىٰ on ʿalā

بَيِّنَةٍۢ a clear evidence bayyinatin

رَّبِّى my Lord rabbī

وَرَزَقَنِى and He has provided me warazaqanī
and He has provided me
مِنْهُ from Himself min'hu
from Himself
رِزْقًا a good provision riz'qan
a good provision
حَسَنًۭا ۚ a good provision ḥasanan
a good provision
وَمَآ And not wamā
And not
أُرِيدُ I intend urīdu
I intend
أَنْ that an
that
أُخَالِفَكُمْ I differ from you ukhālifakum
I differ from you
إِلَىٰ in ilā
in
مَآ what
what
أَنْهَىٰكُمْ I forbid you anhākum
I forbid you
عَنْهُ ۚ from it ʿanhu
from it
إِنْ Not in
Not
أُرِيدُ I intend urīdu
I intend
إِلَّا except illā
except
ٱلْإِصْلَـٰحَ the reform l-iṣ'lāḥa
the reform
مَا as much as I am able
as much as I am able
ٱسْتَطَعْتُ ۚ as much as I am able is'taṭaʿtu
as much as I am able
وَمَا And not wamā
And not
تَوْفِيقِىٓ (is) my success tawfīqī
(is) my success
إِلَّا except illā
except
بِٱللَّهِ ۚ with Allah bil-lahi
with Allah
عَلَيْهِ Upon Him ʿalayhi
Upon Him
تَوَكَّلْتُ I trust tawakkaltu
I trust
وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him wa-ilayhi
and to Him
أُنِيبُ I turn unību
I turn
٨٨ (88)
(88)
Er sagte: O mein Volk, was meint ihr, wenn ich mich auf einen klaren Beweis von meinem Herrn stütze und Er mir eine schöne Versorgung gewährt hat? Und ich will mich (dann in meinem Vorhaben) von euch nicht unterscheiden, indem ich das tue, was ich euch verbiete. Ich will nur Besserung, soweit ich (sie erreichen) kann. Das Gelingen wird mir nur durch Allah (allein) beschieden. Auf Ihn verlasse ich mich, und Ihm wende ich mich reuig zu.
11:89
وَيَـٰقَوْمِ And O my people wayāqawmi
And O my people
لَا (Let) not cause you to sin

يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ (Let) not cause you to sin yajrimannakum
(Let) not cause you to sin
شِقَاقِىٓ my dissension shiqāqī
my dissension
أَن lest an
lest
يُصِيبَكُم befalls you yuṣībakum
befalls you
مِّثْلُ similar mith'lu
similar
مَآ (to) what
(to) what
أَصَابَ befell aṣāba
befell
قَوْمَ (the) people of Nuh qawma
(the) people of Nuh
نُوحٍ (the) people of Nuh nūḥin
(the) people of Nuh
أَوْ or aw
or
قَوْمَ (the) people of Hud qawma
(the) people of Hud
هُودٍ (the) people of Hud hūdin
(the) people of Hud
أَوْ or aw
or
قَوْمَ people of Salih qawma
people of Salih
صَـٰلِحٍۢ ۚ people of Salih ṣāliḥin
people of Salih
وَمَا And not wamā
And not
قَوْمُ (are the) people of Lut qawmu
(are the) people of Lut
لُوطٍۢ (are the) people of Lut lūṭin
(are the) people of Lut
مِّنكُم from you minkum
from you
بِبَعِيدٍۢ far off bibaʿīdin
far off
٨٩ (89)
(89)
Und, o mein Volk, meine Feindseligkeit soll euch ja nicht dazu bringen, daß euch das Gleiche trifft, was das Volk Nuhs oder das Volk Huds oder das Volk Salihs traf. Und das Volk Luts liegt euch nicht fern.
11:90
وَٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ And ask forgiveness wa-is'taghfirū
And ask forgiveness
رَبَّكُمْ (of) your Lord rabbakum
(of) your Lord
ثُمَّ then thumma
then
تُوبُوٓا۟ turn in repentance tūbū
turn in repentance
إِلَيْهِ ۚ to Him ilayhi
to Him
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
رَبِّى my Lord rabbī
my Lord
رَحِيمٌۭ (is) Most Merciful raḥīmun
(is) Most Merciful
وَدُودٌۭ Most Loving wadūdun
Most Loving
٩٠ (90)
(90)
Und bittet euren Herrn um Vergebung und hierauf bereut vor Ihm! Gewiß, mein Herr ist Barmherzig und Liebevoll.
11:91
قَالُوا۟ They said qālū
They said
يَـٰشُعَيْبُ O Shuaib yāshuʿaybu

مَا Not
Not
نَفْقَهُ we understand nafqahu
we understand
كَثِيرًۭا much kathīran
much
مِّمَّا of what mimmā
of what
تَقُولُ you say taqūlu
you say
وَإِنَّا and indeed, we wa-innā
and indeed, we
لَنَرَىٰكَ surely [we] see you lanarāka
surely [we] see you
فِينَا among us fīnā
among us
ضَعِيفًۭا ۖ weak ḍaʿīfan
weak
وَلَوْلَا And if not walawlā
And if not
رَهْطُكَ for your family rahṭuka
for your family
لَرَجَمْنَـٰكَ ۖ surely we would have stoned you larajamnāka
surely we would have stoned you
وَمَآ and you are not wamā
and you are not
أَنتَ and you are not anta
and you are not
عَلَيْنَا against us ʿalaynā
against us
بِعَزِيزٍۢ mighty biʿazīzin
mighty
٩١ (91)
(91)
Sie sagten: O Su’aib, wir verstehen nicht viel von dem, was du sagst. Und wir sehen wahrlich, daß du unter uns nicht wehrhaft bist. Wenn deine Sippschaft nicht wäre, hätten wir dich fürwahr gesteinigt. Du hast ja bei uns kein Ansehen.
11:92
قَالَ He said qāla

أَرَهْطِىٓ Is my family arahṭī

أَعَزُّ mightier aʿazzu
mightier
عَلَيْكُم on you ʿalaykum
on you
مِّنَ than mina

ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi

وَٱتَّخَذْتُمُوهُ And you have taken Him wa-ittakhadhtumūhu
And you have taken Him
وَرَآءَكُمْ behind your warāakum
behind your
ظِهْرِيًّا ۖ backs ẓih'riyyan
backs
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
رَبِّى my Lord rabbī
my Lord
بِمَا of what bimā
of what
تَعْمَلُونَ you do taʿmalūna
you do
مُحِيطٌۭ (is) All-Encompassing muḥīṭun
(is) All-Encompassing
٩٢ (92)
(92)
Er sagte: O mein Volk, hat meine Sippschaft bei euch mehr Ansehen als Allah, und habt ihr Ihn hinter eurem Rücken gelassen? Gewiß, mein Herr umfaßt, was ihr tut.
11:93
وَيَـٰقَوْمِ And O my people wayāqawmi
And O my people
ٱعْمَلُوا۟ Work iʿ'malū
Work
عَلَىٰ (according) to ʿalā
(according) to
مَكَانَتِكُمْ your position makānatikum
your position
إِنِّى indeed, I am innī
indeed, I am
عَـٰمِلٌۭ ۖ working ʿāmilun
working
سَوْفَ Soon sawfa
Soon
تَعْلَمُونَ you will know taʿlamūna
you will know
مَن (on) whom man
(on) whom
يَأْتِيهِ will come yatīhi
will come
عَذَابٌۭ a punishment ʿadhābun
a punishment
يُخْزِيهِ (that will) disgrace him yukh'zīhi
(that will) disgrace him
وَمَنْ and who waman
and who
هُوَ [he] huwa
[he]
كَـٰذِبٌۭ ۖ (is) a liar kādhibun
(is) a liar
وَٱرْتَقِبُوٓا۟ And watch wa-ir'taqibū
And watch
إِنِّى indeed, I am innī
indeed, I am
مَعَكُمْ with you maʿakum
with you
رَقِيبٌۭ a watcher raqībun
a watcher
٩٣ (93)
(93)
Und, o mein Volk, handelt nach eurer Stellung! Ich werde (ebenfalls so) handeln. Ihr werdet (noch) erfahren, über wen eine Strafe kommen wird, die ihn in Schande stürzt, und wer ein Lügner ist. Und wartet (es) ab! Ich bin mit euch ein Beobachter.
11:94
وَلَمَّا And when walammā

نَجَّيْنَا We saved najjaynā

شُعَيْبًۭا Shuaib shuʿayban

وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who wa-alladhīna

ءَامَنُوا۟ believed āmanū
believed
مَعَهُۥ with him maʿahu
with him
بِرَحْمَةٍۢ by a Mercy biraḥmatin
by a Mercy
مِّنَّا from Us minnā
from Us
وَأَخَذَتِ And seized wa-akhadhati
And seized
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
ظَلَمُوا۟ wronged ẓalamū
wronged
ٱلصَّيْحَةُ the thunderous blast l-ṣayḥatu
the thunderous blast
فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ then they became fa-aṣbaḥū
then they became
فِى in
in
دِيَـٰرِهِمْ their homes diyārihim
their homes
جَـٰثِمِينَ fallen prone jāthimīna
fallen prone
٩٤ (94)
(94)
Als nun Unser Befehl kam, erretteten Wir Su’aib und diejenigen, die mit ihm glaubten, durch Barmherzigkeit von Uns. Da ergriff diejenigen, die Unrecht taten, der Schrei, und so lagen sie morgens in ihren Wohnstätten auf den Brüsten da,

كَأَن As if ka-an

لَّمْ not lam

يَغْنَوْا۟ they (had) prospered yaghnaw
they (had) prospered
فِيهَآ ۗ therein fīhā

أَلَا So alā

بُعْدًۭا away buʿ'dan

لِّمَدْيَنَ with Madyan limadyana
with Madyan
كَمَا as kamā
as
بَعِدَتْ was taken away baʿidat
was taken away
ثَمُودُ the Thamud thamūdu
the Thamud
٩٥ (95)
(95)
als hätten sie (überhaupt) nicht darin gewohnt. Aber ja, weg mit Madyan, wie auch die Tamud entfernt wurden!
11:96
وَلَقَدْ And certainly walaqad
And certainly
أَرْسَلْنَا We sent arsalnā
We sent
مُوسَىٰ Musa mūsā
Musa
بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا with Our Signs biāyātinā
with Our Signs
وَسُلْطَـٰنٍۢ and an authority wasul'ṭānin
and an authority
مُّبِينٍ clear mubīnin
clear
٩٦ (96)
(96)
Und Wir sandten bereits Musa mit Unseren Zeichen und mit einer deutlichen Ermächtigung
11:97
إِلَىٰ To ilā
To
فِرْعَوْنَ Firaun fir'ʿawna
Firaun
وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦ and his chiefs wamala-ihi
and his chiefs
فَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ but they followed fa-ittabaʿū
but they followed
أَمْرَ (the) command of Firaun amra
(the) command of Firaun
فِرْعَوْنَ ۖ (the) command of Firaun fir'ʿawna
(the) command of Firaun
وَمَآ and not wamā
and not
أَمْرُ (the) command of Firaun amru
(the) command of Firaun
فِرْعَوْنَ (the) command of Firaun fir'ʿawna
(the) command of Firaun
بِرَشِيدٍۢ was right birashīdin
was right
٩٧ (97)
(97)
zu Fir’aun und seiner führenden Schar. Diese folgten dem Befehl Fir’auns; der Befehl Fir’auns aber war nicht rechtweisend.
11:98
يَقْدُمُ He will precede yaqdumu
He will precede
قَوْمَهُۥ his people qawmahu
his people
يَوْمَ (on the) Day yawma
(on the) Day
ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection l-qiyāmati
(of) the Resurrection
فَأَوْرَدَهُمُ and lead them fa-awradahumu
and lead them
ٱلنَّارَ ۖ (into) the Fire l-nāra
(into) the Fire
وَبِئْسَ And wretched wabi'sa
And wretched
ٱلْوِرْدُ (is) the place l-wir'du
(is) the place
ٱلْمَوْرُودُ to which (they are) led l-mawrūdu
to which (they are) led
٩٨ (98)
(98)
Er wird seinem Volk am Tag der Auferstehung vorangehen. Er führt sie wie zur Tränke ins (Höllen)feuer hinab - eine schlimme Tränke, zu der sie hinabgeführt werden!
11:99
وَأُتْبِعُوا۟ And they were followed wa-ut'biʿū
And they were followed
فِى in
in
هَـٰذِهِۦ this hādhihi
this
لَعْنَةًۭ (by) a curse laʿnatan
(by) a curse
وَيَوْمَ and (on the) Day wayawma
and (on the) Day
ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚ (of) the Resurrection l-qiyāmati
(of) the Resurrection
بِئْسَ Wretched bi'sa
Wretched
ٱلرِّفْدُ (is) the gift l-rif'du
(is) the gift
ٱلْمَرْفُودُ which (will) be given l-marfūdu
which (will) be given
٩٩ (99)
(99)
Und ein Fluch folgte ihnen im Diesseits nach und (wird ihnen) am Tag der Auferstehung (nachfolgen) - eine schlimme Beigabe, die (ihnen) gegeben wird!
11:100
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika
That
مِنْ (is) from min
(is) from
أَنۢبَآءِ (the) news anbāi
(the) news
ٱلْقُرَىٰ (of) the cities l-qurā
(of) the cities
نَقُصُّهُۥ (which) We relate naquṣṣuhu
(which) We relate
عَلَيْكَ ۖ to you ʿalayka
to you
مِنْهَا of them min'hā
of them
قَآئِمٌۭ some are standing qāimun
some are standing
وَحَصِيدٌۭ and (some) mown waḥaṣīdun
and (some) mown

(100)
Dies gehört zu den Nachrichten von den Städten; Wir erzählen es dir. Einige von ihnen stehen noch, andere sind abgemäht.
11:101
وَمَا And not wamā
And not
ظَلَمْنَـٰهُمْ We wronged them ẓalamnāhum
We wronged them
وَلَـٰكِن but walākin
but
ظَلَمُوٓا۟ they wronged ẓalamū
they wronged
أَنفُسَهُمْ ۖ themselves anfusahum
themselves
فَمَآ So not famā
So not
أَغْنَتْ availed aghnat
availed
عَنْهُمْ them ʿanhum
them
ءَالِهَتُهُمُ their gods ālihatuhumu
their gods
ٱلَّتِى which allatī
which
يَدْعُونَ they invoked yadʿūna
they invoked
مِن other than Allah min
other than Allah
دُونِ other than Allah dūni
other than Allah
ٱللَّهِ other than Allah l-lahi
other than Allah
مِن any min
any
شَىْءٍۢ thing shayin
thing
لَّمَّا when lammā
when
جَآءَ came jāa
came
أَمْرُ (the) command (of) your Lord amru
(the) command (of) your Lord
رَبِّكَ ۖ (the) command (of) your Lord rabbika
(the) command (of) your Lord
وَمَا And not wamā
And not
زَادُوهُمْ they increased them zādūhum
they increased them
غَيْرَ other than ghayra
other than
تَتْبِيبٍۢ ruin tatbībin
ruin
١٠١ (101)
(101)
Nicht Wir haben ihnen Unrecht getan, sondern sie selbst haben sich Unrecht zugefügt. Ihre Götter, die sie anstatt Allahs anrufen, haben ihnen nichts genützt, als der Befehl deines Herrn kam, und sie richteten sie nur noch mehr zugrunde.
11:102
وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus wakadhālika
And thus
أَخْذُ (is) the seizure (of) your Lord akhdhu
(is) the seizure (of) your Lord
رَبِّكَ (is) the seizure (of) your Lord rabbika
(is) the seizure (of) your Lord
إِذَآ when idhā
when
أَخَذَ He seizes akhadha
He seizes
ٱلْقُرَىٰ the cities l-qurā
the cities
وَهِىَ while they wahiya
while they
ظَـٰلِمَةٌ ۚ (are) doing wrong ẓālimatun
(are) doing wrong
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
أَخْذَهُۥٓ His seizure akhdhahu
His seizure
أَلِيمٌۭ (is) painful alīmun
(is) painful
شَدِيدٌ (and) severe shadīdun
(and) severe
١٠٢ (102)
(102)
So ist der Griff deines Herrn, wenn Er die Städte ergreift, während sie Unrecht tun. Gewiß, Sein Griff ist schmerzhaft und hart.
11:103
إِنَّ Indeed inna

ذَٰلِكَ that dhālika
that
لَـَٔايَةًۭ (is) surely a Sign laāyatan
(is) surely a Sign
لِّمَنْ for (those) who liman
for (those) who
خَافَ fear khāfa

عَذَابَ (the) punishment ʿadhāba
(the) punishment
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ (of) the Hereafter l-ākhirati
(of) the Hereafter
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika
That
يَوْمٌۭ (is) a Day yawmun
(is) a Day
مَّجْمُوعٌۭ (will) be gathered majmūʿun
(will) be gathered
لَّهُ on it lahu
on it
ٱلنَّاسُ the mankind l-nāsu
the mankind
وَذَٰلِكَ and that wadhālika
and that
يَوْمٌۭ (is) a Day yawmun
(is) a Day
مَّشْهُودٌۭ witnessed mashhūdun
witnessed
١٠٣ (103)
(103)
Darin ist wahrlich ein Zeichen für jemanden, der die Strafe des Jenseits fürchtet. Das ist ein Tag, zu dem die Menschen versammelt werden, und das ist ein Tag, an dem sie (alle) anwesend sein werden.
11:104
وَمَا And not wamā

نُؤَخِّرُهُۥٓ We delay it nu-akhiruhu

إِلَّا except illā

لِأَجَلٍۢ for a term li-ajalin
for a term
مَّعْدُودٍۢ limited maʿdūdin

Und Wir stellen ihn nur auf eine bestimmte Frist zurück.
11:105
يَوْمَ (The) Day yawma
(The) Day
يَأْتِ (it) comes yati

تَكَلَّمُ will speak takallamu
will speak
نَفْسٌ a soul nafsun
a soul
إِلَّا except illā

بِإِذْنِهِۦ ۚ by His leave bi-idh'nihi

فَمِنْهُمْ Then among them famin'hum
Then among them
شَقِىٌّۭ (will be the) wretched shaqiyyun
(will be the) wretched
وَسَعِيدٌۭ and (the) glad wasaʿīdun
and (the) glad
١٠٥ (105)
(105)
An dem Tag, da er eintrifft, wird keine Seele sprechen, außer mit Seiner Erlaubnis. Dann werden einige von ihnen unglücklich und andere glückselig sein.
11:106
فَأَمَّا As for fa-ammā
As for
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
شَقُوا۟ were wretched shaqū
were wretched
فَفِى then (they will be) in fafī
then (they will be) in
ٱلنَّارِ the Fire l-nāri
the Fire
لَهُمْ For them lahum
For them
فِيهَا therein fīhā
therein
زَفِيرٌۭ (is) sighing zafīrun
(is) sighing
وَشَهِيقٌ and wailing washahīqun
and wailing
١٠٦ (106)
(106)
Was nun diejenigen angeht, die unglücklich sind, so werden sie dann im (Höllen)feuer sein; darin werden sie seufzen und schluchzen,
11:107
خَـٰلِدِينَ (Will be) abiding khālidīna

فَعَّالٌۭ (is) All-Accomplisher faʿʿālun
(is) All-Accomplisher
لِّمَا of what limā
of what
يُرِيدُ He intends yurīdu
He intends

ewig darin zu bleiben, solange die Himmel und die Erde währen, außer was dein Herr will. Dein Herr tut immer, was Er will.
11:108
۞ وَأَمَّا And as for wa-ammā
And as for
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
سُعِدُوا۟ were glad suʿidū

فَفِى then (they will be) in fafī
then (they will be) in
ٱلْجَنَّةِ Paradise l-janati
Paradise
خَـٰلِدِينَ (will be) abiding khālidīna
(will be) abiding
فِيهَا therein fīhā

as long as remains

مَجْذُوذٍۢ interrupted majdhūdhin
interrupted

Was aber diejenigen angeht, die glückselig sind, so werden sie im (Paradies)garten sein, ewig darin zu bleiben, solange die Himmel und die Erde währen, außer was dein Herr will, als eine unverkürzte Gabe.
11:109
فَلَا So (do) not falā

يَعْبُدُ worship yaʿbudu

كَمَا as what kamā

يَعْبُدُ worshipped yaʿbudu
worshipped
ءَابَآؤُهُم their forefathers ābāuhum

مِّن before min
before
قَبْلُ ۚ before qablu
before
وَإِنَّا And indeed, We wa-innā
And indeed, We
لَمُوَفُّوهُمْ will surely pay them in full lamuwaffūhum
will surely pay them in full
نَصِيبَهُمْ their share naṣībahum
their share
غَيْرَ without ghayra
without
مَنقُوصٍۢ being diminished manqūṣin
being diminished
١٠٩ (109)
(109)
So sei nicht im Zweifel über das, dem diese dienen. Sie dienen nur, wie ihre Väter zuvor gedient haben. Und Wir werden ihnen ihren Anteil fürwahr unverringert zukommen lassen.
11:110
وَلَقَدْ And verily walaqad
And verily
ءَاتَيْنَا We gave ātaynā
We gave
مُوسَى Musa mūsā
Musa
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ the Book l-kitāba
the Book
فَٱخْتُلِفَ but differences arose fa-ukh'tulifa
but differences arose
فِيهِ ۚ therein fīhi
therein
وَلَوْلَا And if not walawlā
And if not
كَلِمَةٌۭ (for) a Word kalimatun
(for) a Word
سَبَقَتْ (that) preceded sabaqat
(that) preceded
مِن from min
from
رَّبِّكَ your Lord rabbika
your Lord
لَقُضِىَ surely would have been judged laquḍiya
surely would have been judged
بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ between them baynahum
between them
وَإِنَّهُمْ And indeed, they wa-innahum
And indeed, they
لَفِى surely (are) in lafī
surely (are) in
شَكٍّۢ doubt shakkin
doubt
مِّنْهُ concerning it min'hu
concerning it
مُرِيبٍۢ suspicious murībin
suspicious
١١٠ (110)
(110)
Und Wir gaben bereits Musa die Schrift, doch wurde man darüber uneinig. Und wenn es nicht ein früher ergangenes Wort von deinem Herrn gegeben hätte, so wäre zwischen ihnen wahrlich entschieden worden. Und sie sind darüber fürwahr in starkem Zweifel.
11:111
وَإِنَّ And indeed wa-inna
And indeed
كُلًّۭا to each [when] kullan
to each [when]
لَّمَّا to each [when] lammā
to each [when]
لَيُوَفِّيَنَّهُمْ surely will pay them in full layuwaffiyannahum
surely will pay them in full
رَبُّكَ your Lord rabbuka
your Lord
أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ ۚ their deeds aʿmālahum
their deeds
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He innahu
Indeed, He
بِمَا of what bimā
of what
يَعْمَلُونَ they do yaʿmalūna
they do
خَبِيرٌۭ (is) All-Aware khabīrun
(is) All-Aware
١١١ (111)
(111)
Und allen wird dein Herr ihre Werke in vollem Maß ganz sicher erstatten. Gewiß, Er ist dessen, was sie tun, Kundig.
11:112
فَٱسْتَقِمْ So stand firm fa-is'taqim
So stand firm
كَمَآ as kamā
as
أُمِرْتَ you are commanded umir'ta
you are commanded
وَمَن and (those) who waman
and (those) who
تَابَ turn (in repentance) tāba
turn (in repentance)
مَعَكَ with you maʿaka
with you
وَلَا and (do) not walā
and (do) not
تَطْغَوْا۟ ۚ transgress taṭghaw
transgress
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He innahu
Indeed, He
بِمَا of what bimā
of what
تَعْمَلُونَ you do taʿmalūna
you do
بَصِيرٌۭ (is) All-Seer baṣīrun
(is) All-Seer
١١٢ (112)
(112)
So verhalte dich recht, wie dir befohlen wurde, (du) und diejenigen, die mit dir bereuen, und lehnt euch nicht auf. Gewiß, was ihr tut, sieht Er wohl.
11:113
وَلَا And (do) not walā
And (do) not
تَرْكَنُوٓا۟ incline tarkanū

إِلَى to ilā
to
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
ظَلَمُوا۟ do wrong ẓalamū
do wrong
فَتَمَسَّكُمُ lest touches you fatamassakumu
lest touches you
ٱلنَّارُ the Fire l-nāru
the Fire
وَمَا and not wamā
and not
لَكُم (is) for you lakum
(is) for you
مِّن besides Allah min
besides Allah
دُونِ besides Allah dūni
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ besides Allah l-lahi
besides Allah
مِنْ any min
any
أَوْلِيَآءَ protectors awliyāa
protectors
ثُمَّ then thumma
then
لَا not
not
تُنصَرُونَ you will be helped tunṣarūna
you will be helped
١١٣ (113)
(113)
Und sucht nicht eine Stütze bei denen, die Unrecht tun, sonst berührt euch das (Höllen)feuer; ihr habt außer Allah keine Schutzherren. Dann wird euch keine Hilfe zuteil werden.
11:114
وَأَقِمِ And establish wa-aqimi
And establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer l-ṣalata
the prayer
طَرَفَىِ (at the) two ends ṭarafayi
(at the) two ends
ٱلنَّهَارِ (of) the day l-nahāri
(of) the day
وَزُلَفًۭا and (at) the approach wazulafan
and (at) the approach
مِّنَ of mina
of
ٱلَّيْلِ ۚ the night al-layli
the night
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱلْحَسَنَـٰتِ the good deeds l-ḥasanāti
the good deeds
يُذْهِبْنَ remove yudh'hib'na
remove
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ ۚ the evil deeds l-sayiāti
the evil deeds
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika
That
ذِكْرَىٰ (is) a reminder dhik'rā
(is) a reminder
لِلذَّٰكِرِينَ for those who remember lildhākirīna
for those who remember
١١٤ (114)
(114)
Und verrichte das Gebet an beiden Enden des Tages und in Stunden der Nacht. Die guten Taten lassen die bösen Taten vergehen. Das ist eine Ermahnung für diejenigen, die (Allahs) gedenken.
11:115
وَٱصْبِرْ And be patient wa-iṣ'bir
And be patient
فَإِنَّ for indeed fa-inna
for indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
لَا (does) not
(does) not
يُضِيعُ let go waste yuḍīʿu
let go waste
أَجْرَ (the) reward ajra
(the) reward
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ (of) the good-doers l-muḥ'sinīna
(of) the good-doers
١١٥ (115)
(115)
Und sei standhaft; denn Allah läßt den Lohn der Gutes Tuenden nicht verlorengehen.
11:116
فَلَوْلَا So why not falawlā
So why not
كَانَ had been kāna
had been
مِنَ of mina
of
ٱلْقُرُونِ the generations l-qurūni
the generations
مِن before you min
before you
قَبْلِكُمْ before you qablikum
before you
أُو۟لُوا۟ those possessing a remnant ulū
those possessing a remnant
بَقِيَّةٍۢ those possessing a remnant baqiyyatin
those possessing a remnant
يَنْهَوْنَ forbidding yanhawna
forbidding
عَنِ from ʿani
from
ٱلْفَسَادِ the corruption l-fasādi
the corruption
فِى in
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth l-arḍi
the earth
إِلَّا except illā
except
قَلِيلًۭا a few qalīlan
a few
مِّمَّنْ of those mimman
of those
أَنجَيْنَا We saved anjaynā
We saved
مِنْهُمْ ۗ among them min'hum
among them
وَٱتَّبَعَ But followed wa-ittabaʿa
But followed
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
ظَلَمُوا۟ did wrong ẓalamū
did wrong
مَآ what
what
أُتْرِفُوا۟ luxury they were given ut'rifū
luxury they were given
فِيهِ therein fīhi
therein
وَكَانُوا۟ and they were wakānū
and they were
مُجْرِمِينَ criminals muj'rimīna
criminals
١١٦ (116)
(116)
Wenn es unter den Geschlechtern vor euch doch nur Leute mit einem Rest (von Tugend) gegeben hätte, die verbieten, auf der Erde Unheil zu stiften - bis auf wenige unter denen, die Wir von ihnen retteten! Diejenigen, die Unrecht taten, folgten dem ihnen verliehenen üppigen Leben und wurden Übeltäter.
11:117
وَمَا And not wamā
And not
كَانَ would kāna
would
رَبُّكَ your Lord rabbuka
your Lord
لِيُهْلِكَ destroy liyuh'lika
destroy
ٱلْقُرَىٰ the cities l-qurā
the cities
بِظُلْمٍۢ unjustly biẓul'min
unjustly
وَأَهْلُهَا while its people wa-ahluhā
while its people
مُصْلِحُونَ (were) reformers muṣ'liḥūna
(were) reformers
١١٧ (117)
(117)
Und dein Herr hätte die Städte nimmer zu Unrecht vernichtet, während ihre Bewohner Heilstifter waren.
11:118
وَلَوْ And if walaw
And if
شَآءَ your Lord (had) willed shāa
your Lord (had) willed
رَبُّكَ your Lord (had) willed rabbuka
your Lord (had) willed
لَجَعَلَ surely He (could) have made lajaʿala
surely He (could) have made
ٱلنَّاسَ the mankind l-nāsa
the mankind
أُمَّةًۭ one community ummatan
one community
وَٰحِدَةًۭ ۖ one community wāḥidatan
one community
وَلَا but not walā
but not
يَزَالُونَ they will cease yazālūna
they will cease
مُخْتَلِفِينَ to differ mukh'talifīna
to differ
١١٨ (118)
(118)
Und wenn dein Herr wollte, hätte Er die Menschen wahrlich zu einer einzigen Gemeinschaft gemacht. Aber sie bleiben doch uneinig,
11:119
إِلَّا Except illā
Except
مَن (on) whom man
(on) whom
رَّحِمَ your Lord has bestowed Mercy raḥima
your Lord has bestowed Mercy
رَبُّكَ ۚ your Lord has bestowed Mercy rabbuka
your Lord has bestowed Mercy
وَلِذَٰلِكَ and for that walidhālika
and for that
خَلَقَهُمْ ۗ He created them khalaqahum
He created them
وَتَمَّتْ And will be fulfilled watammat
And will be fulfilled
كَلِمَةُ (the) Word of your Lord kalimatu
(the) Word of your Lord
رَبِّكَ (the) Word of your Lord rabbika
(the) Word of your Lord
لَأَمْلَأَنَّ Surely I will fill la-amla-anna
Surely I will fill
جَهَنَّمَ Hell jahannama
Hell
مِنَ with mina
with
ٱلْجِنَّةِ the Jinn l-jinati
the Jinn
وَٱلنَّاسِ and the men wal-nāsi
and the men
أَجْمَعِينَ all together ajmaʿīna
all together
١١٩ (119)
(119)
außer denen, derer Sich dein Herr erbarmt hat. Dazu hat Er sie erschaffen. Und so erfüllt sich das Wort deines Herrn: Ich werde die Hölle ganz gewiß mit den Ginn und den Menschen allesamt füllen.
11:120
وَكُلًّۭا And each wakullan
And each
نَّقُصُّ We relate naquṣṣu
We relate
عَلَيْكَ to you ʿalayka
to you
مِنْ of min
of
أَنۢبَآءِ (the) news anbāi
(the) news
ٱلرُّسُلِ (of) the Messengers l-rusuli
(of) the Messengers
مَا (for) that
(for) that
نُثَبِّتُ We may make firm nuthabbitu
We may make firm
بِهِۦ with it bihi
with it
فُؤَادَكَ ۚ your heart fuādaka
your heart
وَجَآءَكَ And has come to you wajāaka
And has come to you
فِى in
in
هَـٰذِهِ this hādhihi
this
ٱلْحَقُّ the truth l-ḥaqu
the truth
وَمَوْعِظَةٌۭ and an admonition wamawʿiẓatun
and an admonition
وَذِكْرَىٰ and a reminder wadhik'rā
and a reminder
لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ for the believers lil'mu'minīna
for the believers
١٢٠ (120)
(120)
Alles berichten Wir dir von den Nachrichten über die Gesandten, womit Wir dein Herz festigen. Darin ist dir die Wahrheit zugekommen, und eine Ermahnung und Erinnerung für die Gläubigen.
11:121
وَقُل And say waqul
And say
لِّلَّذِينَ to those who lilladhīna
to those who
لَا (do) not
(do) not
يُؤْمِنُونَ believe yu'minūna
believe
ٱعْمَلُوا۟ Work iʿ'malū
Work
عَلَىٰ (according) to ʿalā
(according) to
مَكَانَتِكُمْ your position makānatikum
your position
إِنَّا indeed, we innā
indeed, we
عَـٰمِلُونَ (are also) working ʿāmilūna
(are also) working
١٢١ (121)
(121)
Und sag zu denen, die nicht glauben: Handelt nach eurer Stellung, wir werden (ebenfalls so) handeln.
11:122
وَٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟ And wait wa-intaẓirū
And wait
إِنَّا indeed, we innā
indeed, we
مُنتَظِرُونَ (are) ones who wait muntaẓirūna
(are) ones who wait
١٢٢ (122)
(122)
Und wartet ab, wir warten ebenfalls ab.
11:123
وَلِلَّهِ And for Allah walillahi
And for Allah
غَيْبُ (is the) unseen ghaybu
(is the) unseen
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens l-samāwāti
(of) the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth wal-arḍi
and the earth
وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him wa-ilayhi
and to Him
يُرْجَعُ will be returned yur'jaʿu
will be returned
ٱلْأَمْرُ the matter l-amru
the matter
كُلُّهُۥ all (of) it kulluhu
all (of) it
فَٱعْبُدْهُ so worship Him fa-uʿ'bud'hu
so worship Him
وَتَوَكَّلْ and put your trust watawakkal
and put your trust
عَلَيْهِ ۚ upon Him ʿalayhi
upon Him
وَمَا And your Lord is not wamā
And your Lord is not
رَبُّكَ And your Lord is not rabbuka
And your Lord is not
بِغَـٰفِلٍ unaware bighāfilin
unaware
عَمَّا of what ʿammā
of what
تَعْمَلُونَ you do taʿmalūna
you do
١٢٣ (123)
(123)
Und Allahs ist das Verborgene der Himmel und der Erde, und zu Ihm wird die ganze Angelegenheit zurückgebracht. So diene Ihm und verlasse dich auf Ihn. Und dein Herr ist nicht unachtsam dessen, was ihr tut.
