الفاتحة

سورة الفاتحة (الفاتحة) هي السورة رقم ١ في القرآن الكريم — وهي سورة مكية تتألف من ٧ آية. السور المكية نزلت قبل هجرة النبي محمد ﷺ إلى المدينة، وتركّز غالبًا على الإيمان وتوحيد الله والآخرة.

١:١
بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi١
In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
١:٢
ٱلْحَمْدُAll praises and thanksal-ḥamduلِلَّهِ(be) to Allahlillahiرَبِّthe Lordrabbiٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَof the universel-ʿālamīna٢
[All] praise is [due] to Allāh, Lord of the worlds -
١:٣
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِThe Most Graciousal-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi٣
The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
١:٤
مَـٰلِكِ(The) Mastermālikiيَوْمِ(of the) Dayyawmiٱلدِّينِ(of the) Judgmentl-dīni٤
Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.
١:٥
إِيَّاكَYou Aloneiyyākaنَعْبُدُwe worshipnaʿbuduوَإِيَّاكَand You Alonewa-iyyākaنَسْتَعِينُwe ask for helpnastaʿīnu٥
It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
١:٦
ٱهْدِنَاGuide usih'dināٱلصِّرَٰطَ(to) the pathl-ṣirāṭaٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَthe straightl-mus'taqīma٦
Guide us to the straight path -
١:٧
صِرَٰطَ(The) pathṣirāṭaٱلَّذِينَ(of) thosealladhīnaأَنْعَمْتَYou have bestowed (Your) Favorsanʿamtaعَلَيْهِمْon themʿalayhimغَيْرِnot (of)ghayriٱلْمَغْضُوبِthose who earned (Your) wrathl-maghḍūbiعَلَيْهِمْon themselvesʿalayhimوَلَاand notwalāٱلضَّآلِّينَ(of) those who go astrayl-ḍālīna٧
The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have earned [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
