الماعون

سورة الماعون (الماعون) هي السورة رقم ١٠٧ في القرآن الكريم — وهي سورة مكية تتألف من ٧ آية. السور المكية نزلت قبل هجرة النبي محمد ﷺ إلى المدينة، وتركّز غالبًا على الإيمان وتوحيد الله والآخرة.

بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
١٠٧:١
أَرَءَيْتَHave you seenara-aytaٱلَّذِىthe one whoalladhīيُكَذِّبُdeniesyukadhibuبِٱلدِّينِthe Judgmentbil-dīni١
Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?
١٠٧:٢
فَذَٰلِكَThen thatfadhālikaٱلَّذِى(is) the one whoalladhīيَدُعُّrepulsesyaduʿʿuٱلْيَتِيمَthe orphanl-yatīma٢
For that is the one who drives away the orphan
١٠٧:٣
وَلَاAnd (does) notwalāيَحُضُّfeel the urgeyaḥuḍḍuعَلَىٰtoʿalāطَعَامِfeedṭaʿāmiٱلْمِسْكِينِthe poorl-mis'kīni٣
And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.
١٠٧:٤
فَوَيْلٌۭSo woefawaylunلِّلْمُصَلِّينَto those who praylil'muṣallīna٤
So woe to those who pray
١٠٧:٥
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaهُمْ[they]humعَنaboutʿanصَلَاتِهِمْtheir prayersṣalātihimسَاهُونَ(are) neglectfulsāhūna٥
[But] who are heedless of their prayer -
١٠٧:٦
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaهُمْ[they]humيُرَآءُونَmake showyurāūna٦
Those who make show [of their deeds]
١٠٧:٧
وَيَمْنَعُونَAnd they denywayamnaʿūnaٱلْمَاعُونَ[the] small kindnessesl-māʿūna٧
And withhold [simple] assistance.
