العصر

Surah Al-'Asr (العصر) is chapter 103 of the Holy Quran — a Meccan surah of 3 verses (ayahs). Meccan surahs were revealed before the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) migrated to Medina and most often emphasise faith, the oneness of God and the hereafter.

Bismillah
بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
103:1
وَٱلْعَصْرِBy the timewal-ʿaṣri١
By time,
103:2
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلْإِنسَـٰنَmankindl-insānaلَفِى(is) surely, inlafīخُسْرٍlosskhus'rin٢
Indeed, mankind is in loss,
103:3
إِلَّاExceptillāٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and dowaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِrighteous deedsl-ṣāliḥātiوَتَوَاصَوْا۟and enjoin (each other)watawāṣawبِٱلْحَقِّto the truthbil-ḥaqiوَتَوَاصَوْا۟and enjoin (each other)watawāṣawبِٱلصَّبْرِto [the] patiencebil-ṣabri٣
Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.
