المسد

سورة المسد (المسد) هي السورة رقم ١١١ في القرآن الكريم — وهي سورة مكية تتألف من ٥ آية. السور المكية نزلت قبل هجرة النبي محمد ﷺ إلى المدينة، وتركّز غالبًا على الإيمان وتوحيد الله والآخرة.

بسملة
بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
١١١:١
تَبَّتْPerishtabbatيَدَآ(the) handsyadāأَبِى(of) AbuabīلَهَبٍۢLahablahabinوَتَبَّand perish hewatabba١
May the hands of Abū Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.
١١١:٢
مَآNotmāأَغْنَىٰ(will) availaghnāعَنْهُhimʿanhuمَالُهُۥhis wealthmāluhuوَمَاand whatwamāكَسَبَhe earnedkasaba٢
His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.
١١١:٣
سَيَصْلَىٰHe will be burntsayaṣlāنَارًۭا(in) a FirenāranذَاتَofdhātaلَهَبٍۢBlazing Flameslahabin٣
He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame
١١١:٤
وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥAnd his wifewa-im'ra-atuhuحَمَّالَةَ(the) carrierḥammālataٱلْحَطَبِ(of) firewoodl-ḥaṭabi٤
And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood.
١١١:٥
فِىInfīجِيدِهَاher neckjīdihāحَبْلٌۭ(will be) a ropeḥablunمِّنofminمَّسَدٍۭpalm-fibermasadin٥
Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
