تَبَّتْ
Perish

Perish يَدَآ (the) hands yadā
(the) hands أَبِى (of) Abu abī
(of) Abu لَهَبٍۢ Lahab lahabin
Lahab وَتَبَّ and perish he watabba

Zugrunde gehen sollen die Hände Abu Lahabs, und zugrunde gehen soll er (selbst)!
111:2

Not أَغْنَىٰ (will) avail aghnā
(will) avail عَنْهُ him ʿanhu
him مَالُهُۥ his wealth māluhu

and what كَسَبَ he earned kasaba

Was nützt ihm sein Besitz und das, was er erworben hat?
111:3
سَيَصْلَىٰ
He will be burnt
sayaṣlā
He will be burnt نَارًۭا (in) a Fire nāran
(in) a Fire ذَاتَ of dhāta
of لَهَبٍۢ Blazing Flames lahabin

وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ
And his wife
wa-im'ra-atuhu
And his wife حَمَّالَةَ (the) carrier ḥammālata
(the) carrier ٱلْحَطَبِ (of) firewood l-ḥaṭabi
