At-Takathur

Mekkanisch 8 Verse Juz 1
التكاثر
Bismillah
بِسْمِ In (the) name bis'mi
In (the) name ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ the Most Gracious l-raḥmāni
the Most Gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِ the Most Merciful l-raḥīmi
the Most Merciful
Im Namen Allahs, des Allerbarmers, des Barmherzigen
102:1
أَلْهَىٰكُمُ Diverts you alhākumu
Diverts you ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ the competition to increase l-takāthuru
the competition to increase ١ (1)

Die Vermehrung lenkt euch ab,
102:2
حَتَّىٰ Until ḥattā
Until زُرْتُمُ you visit zur'tumu
you visit ٱلْمَقَابِرَ the graves l-maqābira
the graves ٢ (2)
(2)
bis ihr die Friedhöfe besucht.
102:3
كَلَّا Nay kallā
Nay سَوْفَ Soon sawfa
Soon تَعْلَمُونَ you will know taʿlamūna
you will know ٣ (3)
(3)
Keineswegs! Ihr werdet (es noch) erfahren.
102:4
ثُمَّ Then thumma
Then كَلَّا nay kallā
nay سَوْفَ Soon sawfa
Soon تَعْلَمُونَ you will know taʿlamūna
you will know ٤ (4)

Abermals: Keineswegs! Ihr werdet (es noch) erfahren.
102:5
كَلَّا Nay kallā
Nay لَوْ If law
If تَعْلَمُونَ you know taʿlamūna
you know عِلْمَ (with) a knowledge ʿil'ma
(with) a knowledge ٱلْيَقِينِ (of) certainty l-yaqīni
(of) certainty ٥ (5)

Keineswegs! Wenn ihr es nur mit dem Wissen der Gewißheit wüßtet!
102:6
لَتَرَوُنَّ Surely you will see latarawunna
Surely you will see ٱلْجَحِيمَ the Hellfire l-jaḥīma
the Hellfire ٦ (6)
(6)
Ihr werdet ganz gewiß den Höllenbrand sehen.
102:7
ثُمَّ Then thumma
Then لَتَرَوُنَّهَا surely you will see it latarawunnahā
surely you will see it عَيْنَ (with the) eye ʿayna
(with the) eye ٱلْيَقِينِ (of) certainty l-yaqīni
(of) certainty ٧ (7)

Abermals: Ihr werdet ihn mit dem Auge der Gewißheit sehen.
102:8
ثُمَّ Then thumma
Then لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ surely you will be asked latus'alunna
surely you will be asked يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day yawma-idhin
that Day عَنِ about ʿani
about ٱلنَّعِيمِ the pleasures l-naʿīmi
the pleasures ٨ (8)

Hierauf werdet ihr an jenem Tag ganz gewiß nach der Wonne gefragt werden.
