Die Sure At-Takathur (التكاثر) ist das 102. Kapitel des Heiligen Korans — Mekkanisch, mit 8 Versen. Mekkanische Suren wurden vor der Auswanderung des Propheten Mohammed (Friede sei mit ihm) nach Medina offenbart und betonen meist Glaube, die Einheit Gottes und das Jenseits.

بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Im Namen Allahs, des Allerbarmers, des Barmherzigen
102:1
أَلْهَىٰكُمُDiverts youalhākumuٱلتَّكَاثُرُthe competition to increasel-takāthuru١
Die Vermehrung lenkt euch ab,
102:2
حَتَّىٰUntilḥattāزُرْتُمُyou visitzur'tumuٱلْمَقَابِرَthe gravesl-maqābira٢
bis ihr die Friedhöfe besucht.
102:3
كَلَّاNaykallāسَوْفَSoonsawfaتَعْلَمُونَyou will knowtaʿlamūna٣
Keineswegs! Ihr werdet (es noch) erfahren.
102:4
ثُمَّThenthummaكَلَّاnaykallāسَوْفَSoonsawfaتَعْلَمُونَyou will knowtaʿlamūna٤
Abermals: Keineswegs! Ihr werdet (es noch) erfahren.
102:5
كَلَّاNaykallāلَوْIflawتَعْلَمُونَyou knowtaʿlamūnaعِلْمَ(with) a knowledgeʿil'maٱلْيَقِينِ(of) certaintyl-yaqīni٥
Keineswegs! Wenn ihr es nur mit dem Wissen der Gewißheit wüßtet!
102:6
لَتَرَوُنَّSurely you will seelatarawunnaٱلْجَحِيمَthe Hellfirel-jaḥīma٦
Ihr werdet ganz gewiß den Höllenbrand sehen.
102:7
ثُمَّThenthummaلَتَرَوُنَّهَاsurely you will see itlatarawunnahāعَيْنَ(with the) eyeʿaynaٱلْيَقِينِ(of) certaintyl-yaqīni٧
Abermals: Ihr werdet ihn mit dem Auge der Gewißheit sehen.
102:8
ثُمَّThenthummaلَتُسْـَٔلُنَّsurely you will be askedlatus'alunnaيَوْمَئِذٍthat Dayyawma-idhinعَنِaboutʿaniٱلنَّعِيمِthe pleasuresl-naʿīmi٨
Hierauf werdet ihr an jenem Tag ganz gewiß nach der Wonne gefragt werden.
