الفلق

Surah Al-Falaq (الفلق) is chapter 113 of the Holy Quran — a Meccan surah of 5 verses (ayahs). Meccan surahs were revealed before the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) migrated to Medina and most often emphasise faith, the oneness of God and the hereafter.

Bismillah
بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
113:1
قُلْSayqulأَعُوذُI seek refugeaʿūdhuبِرَبِّin (the) Lordbirabbiٱلْفَلَقِ(of) the dawnl-falaqi١
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
113:2
مِنFromminشَرِّ(the) evilsharriمَا(of) whatخَلَقَHe createdkhalaqa٢
From the evil of that which He created
113:3
وَمِنAnd fromwaminشَرِّ(the) evilsharriغَاسِقٍ(of) darknessghāsiqinإِذَاwhenidhāوَقَبَit spreadswaqaba٣
And from the evil of darkness when it settles
113:4
وَمِنAnd fromwaminشَرِّ(the) evilsharriٱلنَّفَّـٰثَـٰتِ(of) the blowersl-nafāthātiفِىinٱلْعُقَدِthe knotsl-ʿuqadi٤
And from the evil of the blowers in knots
113:5
وَمِنAnd fromwaminشَرِّ(the) evilsharriحَاسِدٍ(of) an envierḥāsidinإِذَاwhenidhāحَسَدَhe enviesḥasada٥
And from the evil of an envier when he envies."
