الدخان

سورة الدخان (الدخان) هي السورة رقم ٤٤ في القرآن الكريم — وهي سورة مكية تتألف من ٥٩ آية. السور المكية نزلت قبل هجرة النبي محمد ﷺ إلى المدينة، وتركّز غالبًا على الإيمان وتوحيد الله والآخرة.

بسملة
بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
٤٤:١
حمٓHa Meemhha-meem١
Ḥā, Meem.
٤٤:٢
وَٱلْكِتَـٰبِBy the Bookwal-kitābiٱلْمُبِينِthe clearl-mubīni٢
By the clear Book,
٤٤:٣
إِنَّآIndeed, Weinnāأَنزَلْنَـٰهُrevealed itanzalnāhuفِىinلَيْلَةٍۢa Nightlaylatinمُّبَـٰرَكَةٍ ۚBlessedmubārakatinإِنَّاIndeed, Weinnāكُنَّا[We] arekunnāمُنذِرِينَ(ever) warningmundhirīna٣
Indeed, We sent it down during a blessed night. Indeed, We were to warn [mankind].
٤٤:٤
فِيهَاThereinfīhāيُفْرَقُis made distinctyuf'raquكُلُّeverykulluأَمْرٍaffairamrinحَكِيمٍwiseḥakīmin٤
Therein [i.e., on that night] is made distinct every precise matter -
٤٤:٥
أَمْرًۭاA commandamranمِّنْfromminعِندِنَآ ۚUsʿindināإِنَّاIndeed, Weinnāكُنَّا[We] arekunnāمُرْسِلِينَ(ever) sendingmur'silīna٥
[Every] matter [proceeding] from Us. Indeed, We were to send [a messenger]
٤٤:٦
رَحْمَةًۭAs Mercyraḥmatanمِّنfromminرَّبِّكَ ۚyour LordrabbikaإِنَّهُۥIndeed, Heinnahuهُوَ[He]huwaٱلسَّمِيعُ(is) the All-Hearerl-samīʿuٱلْعَلِيمُthe All-Knowerl-ʿalīmu٦
As mercy from your Lord. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing,
٤٤:٧
رَبِّLordrabbiٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِand the earthwal-arḍiوَمَاand whateverwamāبَيْنَهُمَآ ۖ(is) between both of thembaynahumāإِنifinكُنتُمyou arekuntumمُّوقِنِينَcertainmūqinīna٧
Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them, if you would be certain.
٤٤:٨
لَآ(There is) noإِلَـٰهَgodilāhaإِلَّاexceptillāهُوَHimhuwaيُحْىِۦHe gives lifeyuḥ'yīوَيُمِيتُ ۖand causes deathwayumītuرَبُّكُمْyour Lordrabbukumوَرَبُّand (the) Lordwarabbuءَابَآئِكُمُ(of) your fathersābāikumuٱلْأَوَّلِينَthe formerl-awalīna٨
There is no deity except Him; He gives life and causes death. [He is] your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers.
٤٤:٩
بَلْNaybalهُمْtheyhumفِى(are) inشَكٍّۢdoubt shakkinيَلْعَبُونَplayingyalʿabūna٩
But they are in doubt, amusing themselves.
٤٤:١٠
فَٱرْتَقِبْThen watchfa-ir'taqibيَوْمَ(for the) Dayyawmaتَأْتِى(when) will bringtatīٱلسَّمَآءُthe skyl-samāuبِدُخَانٍۢsmokebidukhāninمُّبِينٍۢvisiblemubīnin١٠
Then watch for the Day when the sky will bring a visible smoke
٤٤:١١
يَغْشَىEnvelopingyaghshāٱلنَّاسَ ۖthe peoplel-nāsaهَـٰذَاThishādhāعَذَابٌ(will be) a punishmentʿadhābunأَلِيمٌۭpainfulalīmun١١
Covering the people; this is a painful torment.
٤٤:١٢
رَّبَّنَاOur LordrabbanāٱكْشِفْRemoveik'shifعَنَّاfrom usʿannāٱلْعَذَابَthe punishmentl-ʿadhābaإِنَّاindeed, weinnāمُؤْمِنُونَ(are) believersmu'minūna١٢
[They will say], "Our Lord, remove from us the torment; indeed, we are believers."
٤٤:١٣
أَنَّىٰHow canannāلَهُمُ(there be) for themlahumuٱلذِّكْرَىٰthe reminderl-dhik'rāوَقَدْwhen verilywaqadجَآءَهُمْhad come to themjāahumرَسُولٌۭa Messengerrasūlunمُّبِينٌۭclearmubīnun١٣
How will there be for them a reminder [at that time]? And there had come to them a clear Messenger.
٤٤:١٤
ثُمَّThenthummaتَوَلَّوْا۟they turned awaytawallawعَنْهُfrom himʿanhuوَقَالُوا۟and saidwaqālūمُعَلَّمٌۭOne taughtmuʿallamunمَّجْنُونٌa mad manmajnūnun١٤
Then they turned away from him and said, "[He was] taught [and is] a madman."
٤٤:١٥
إِنَّاIndeed, Weinnāكَاشِفُوا۟(will) removekāshifūٱلْعَذَابِthe punishmentl-ʿadhābiقَلِيلًا ۚa littleqalīlanإِنَّكُمْindeed, youinnakumعَآئِدُونَ(will) returnʿāidūna١٥
Indeed, We will remove the torment for a little. Indeed, you [disbelievers] will return [to disbelief].
٤٤:١٦
يَوْمَ(The) DayyawmaنَبْطِشُWe will seizenabṭishuٱلْبَطْشَةَ(with) the seizurel-baṭshataٱلْكُبْرَىٰٓthe greatestl-kub'rāإِنَّاindeed, Weinnāمُنتَقِمُونَ(will) take retributionmuntaqimūna١٦
The Day We will strike with the greatest assault, indeed, We will take retribution.
٤٤:١٧
۞ وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadفَتَنَّاWe triedfatannāقَبْلَهُمْbefore themqablahumقَوْمَ(the) peopleqawmaفِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaunfir'ʿawnaوَجَآءَهُمْand came to themwajāahumرَسُولٌۭa Messengerrasūlunكَرِيمٌnoblekarīmun١٧
And We had already tried before them the people of Pharaoh, and there came to them a noble messenger [i.e., Moses],
٤٤:١٨
أَنْThatanأَدُّوٓا۟Deliveraddūإِلَىَّto meilayyaعِبَادَ(the) servantsʿibādaٱللَّهِ ۖ(of) Allahl-lahiإِنِّىIndeed, I aminnīلَكُمْto youlakumرَسُولٌa Messengerrasūlunأَمِينٌۭtrustworthyamīnun١٨
[Saying], "Render to me the servants of Allāh. Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger,"
٤٤:١٩
وَأَنAnd thatwa-anلَّا(do) notتَعْلُوا۟exalt yourselvestaʿlūعَلَىagainstʿalāٱللَّهِ ۖAllahl-lahiإِنِّىٓIndeed, Iinnīءَاتِيكُم[I] have come to youātīkumبِسُلْطَـٰنٍۢwith an authoritybisul'ṭāninمُّبِينٍۢclearmubīnin١٩
And [saying], "Be not haughty with Allāh. Indeed, I have come to you with clear evidence.
٤٤:٢٠
وَإِنِّىAnd indeed, Iwa-innīعُذْتُ[I] seek refugeʿudh'tuبِرَبِّىwith my Lordbirabbīوَرَبِّكُمْand your Lordwarabbikumأَنlestanتَرْجُمُونِyou stone metarjumūni٢٠
And indeed, I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord, lest you stone me.
٤٤:٢١
وَإِنAnd ifwa-inلَّمْnotlamتُؤْمِنُوا۟you believetu'minūلِىmeفَٱعْتَزِلُونِthen leave me alonefa-iʿ'tazilūni٢١
But if you do not believe me, then leave me alone."
٤٤:٢٢
فَدَعَاSo he calledfadaʿāرَبَّهُۥٓhis LordrabbahuأَنَّThatannaهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِthesehāulāiقَوْمٌۭ(are) a peopleqawmunمُّجْرِمُونَcriminalsmuj'rimūna٢٢
And [finally] he called to his Lord that these were a criminal people.
٤٤:٢٣
فَأَسْرِThen "Set outfa-asriبِعِبَادِىwith My slavesbiʿibādīلَيْلًا(by) nightlaylanإِنَّكُمIndeed, youinnakumمُّتَّبَعُونَ(will be) followedmuttabaʿūna٢٣
[Allāh said], "Then set out with My servants by night. Indeed, you are to be pursued.
٤٤:٢٤
وَٱتْرُكِAnd leavewa-ut'rukiٱلْبَحْرَthe seal-baḥraرَهْوًا ۖat restrahwanإِنَّهُمْIndeed, theyinnahumجُندٌۭ(are) an armyjundunمُّغْرَقُونَ(to be) drownedmugh'raqūna٢٤
And leave the sea in stillness. Indeed, they are an army to be drowned."
٤٤:٢٥
كَمْHow manykamتَرَكُوا۟(did) they leavetarakūمِنofminجَنَّـٰتٍۢgardensjannātinوَعُيُونٍۢand springswaʿuyūnin٢٥
How much they left behind of gardens and springs
٤٤:٢٦
وَزُرُوعٍۢAnd cornfieldswazurūʿinوَمَقَامٍۢand placeswamaqāminكَرِيمٍۢnoblekarīmin٢٦
And crops and noble sites
٤٤:٢٧
وَنَعْمَةٍۢAnd pleasant thingswanaʿmatinكَانُوا۟they used tokānūفِيهَاthereinfīhāفَـٰكِهِينَtake delightfākihīna٢٧
And comfort wherein they were amused.
٤٤:٢٨
كَذَٰلِكَ ۖThuskadhālikaوَأَوْرَثْنَـٰهَاAnd We made it (an) inherit(ance)wa-awrathnāhāقَوْمًا(for) a peopleqawmanءَاخَرِينَanotherākharīna٢٨
Thus. And We caused to inherit it another people.
٤٤:٢٩
فَمَاAnd notfamāبَكَتْweptbakatعَلَيْهِمُfor themʿalayhimuٱلسَّمَآءُthe heavenl-samāuوَٱلْأَرْضُand the earthwal-arḍuوَمَاand notwamāكَانُوا۟they werekānūمُنظَرِينَgiven respitemunẓarīna٢٩
And the heaven and earth wept not for them, nor were they reprieved.
٤٤:٣٠
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadنَجَّيْنَاWe savednajjaynāبَنِىٓ(the) Children of Israelbanīإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ(the) Children of Israelis'rāīlaمِنَfromminaٱلْعَذَابِthe punishmentl-ʿadhābiٱلْمُهِينِthe humiliatingl-muhīni٣٠
And We certainly saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment -
٤٤:٣١
مِنFromminفِرْعَوْنَ ۚFiraunfir'ʿawnaإِنَّهُۥIndeed, heinnahuكَانَwaskānaعَالِيًۭاarrogantʿāliyanمِّنَamongminaٱلْمُسْرِفِينَthe transgressorsl-mus'rifīna٣١
From Pharaoh. Indeed, he was a haughty one among the transgressors.
٤٤:٣٢
وَلَقَدِAnd certainlywalaqadiٱخْتَرْنَـٰهُمْWe chose themikh'tarnāhumعَلَىٰbyʿalāعِلْمٍknowledgeʿil'minعَلَىoverʿalāٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَthe worldsl-ʿālamīna٣٢
And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds.
٤٤:٣٣
وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمAnd We gave themwaātaynāhumمِّنَofminaٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِthe Signsl-āyātiمَاthatفِيهِin itfīhiبَلَـٰٓؤٌۭا۟(was) a trialbalāonمُّبِينٌclearmubīnun٣٣
And We gave them of signs that in which there was a clear trial.
٤٤:٣٤
إِنَّIndeedinnaهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِthesehāulāiلَيَقُولُونَsurely, they saylayaqūlūna٣٤
Indeed, these [disbelievers] are saying,
٤٤:٣٥
إِنْNotinهِىَithiyaإِلَّا(is) butillāمَوْتَتُنَاour deathmawtatunāٱلْأُولَىٰthe firstl-ūlāوَمَاand notwamāنَحْنُwenaḥnuبِمُنشَرِينَ(will be) raised againbimunsharīna٣٥
"There is not but our first death, and we will not be resurrected.
٤٤:٣٦
فَأْتُوا۟Then bringfatūبِـَٔابَآئِنَآour forefathersbiābāināإِنifinكُنتُمْyou arekuntumصَـٰدِقِينَtruthfulṣādiqīna٣٦
Then bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful."
٤٤:٣٧
أَهُمْAre theyahumخَيْرٌbetterkhayrunأَمْoramقَوْمُ(the) peopleqawmuتُبَّعٍۢ(of) Tubbatubbaʿinوَٱلَّذِينَand thosewa-alladhīnaمِنbefore themminقَبْلِهِمْ ۚbefore themqablihimأَهْلَكْنَـٰهُمْ ۖWe destroyed themahlaknāhumإِنَّهُمْindeed, theyinnahumكَانُوا۟werekānūمُجْرِمِينَcriminalsmuj'rimīna٣٧
Are they better or the people of Tubbaʿ1 and those before them? We destroyed them, [for] indeed, they were criminals.
٤٤:٣٨
وَمَاAnd notwamāخَلَقْنَاWe createdkhalaqnāٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضَand the earthwal-arḍaوَمَاand whateverwamāبَيْنَهُمَا(is) between thembaynahumāلَـٰعِبِينَ(in) playlāʿibīna٣٨
And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play.
٤٤:٣٩
مَاNotخَلَقْنَـٰهُمَآWe created both of themkhalaqnāhumāإِلَّاbutillāبِٱلْحَقِّin [the] truthbil-ḥaqiوَلَـٰكِنَّbutwalākinnaأَكْثَرَهُمْmost of themaktharahumلَا(do) notيَعْلَمُونَknowyaʿlamūna٣٩
We did not create them except in truth, but most of them do not know.
٤٤:٤٠
إِنَّIndeedinnaيَوْمَ(the) Day of Judgmentyawmaٱلْفَصْلِ(the) Day of Judgmentl-faṣliمِيقَـٰتُهُمْ(is) an appointed term for themmīqātuhumأَجْمَعِينَallajmaʿīna٤٠
Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all -
٤٤:٤١
يَوْمَ(The) Dayyawmaلَاnotيُغْنِىwill availyugh'nīمَوْلًىa relationmawlanعَنforʿanمَّوْلًۭىa relationmawlanشَيْـًۭٔاanythingshayanوَلَاand notwalāهُمْtheyhumيُنصَرُونَwill be helpedyunṣarūna٤١
The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped -
٤٤:٤٢
إِلَّاExceptillāمَن(on) whommanرَّحِمَAllah has mercyraḥimaٱللَّهُ ۚAllah has mercyl-lahuإِنَّهُۥIndeed, Heinnahuهُوَ[He]huwaٱلْعَزِيزُ(is) the All-Mightyl-ʿazīzuٱلرَّحِيمُthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmu٤٢
Except those [believers] on whom Allāh has mercy. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.
٤٤:٤٣
إِنَّIndeedinnaشَجَرَتَ(the) treeshajarataٱلزَّقُّومِ(of) Zaqquml-zaqūmi٤٣
Indeed, the tree of zaqqūm
٤٤:٤٤
طَعَامُ(Will be) foodṭaʿāmuٱلْأَثِيمِ(of) the sinner(s)l-athīmi٤٤
Is food for the sinful.
٤٤:٤٥
كَٱلْمُهْلِLike the murky oilkal-muh'liيَغْلِىit will boilyaghlīفِىinٱلْبُطُونِthe belliesl-buṭūni٤٥
Like murky oil, it boils within bellies
٤٤:٤٦
كَغَلْىِLike boilingkaghalyiٱلْحَمِيمِ(of) scalding waterl-ḥamīmi٤٦
Like the boiling of scalding water.
٤٤:٤٧
خُذُوهُSeize himkhudhūhuفَٱعْتِلُوهُand drag himfa-iʿ'tilūhuإِلَىٰintoilāسَوَآءِ(the) midstsawāiٱلْجَحِيمِ(of) the Hellfirel-jaḥīmi٤٧
[It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire,
٤٤:٤٨
ثُمَّThenthummaصُبُّوا۟pourṣubbūفَوْقَoverfawqaرَأْسِهِۦhis headrasihiمِنْofminعَذَابِ(the) punishmentʿadhābiٱلْحَمِيمِ(of) the scalding waterl-ḥamīmi٤٨
Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water."
٤٤:٤٩
ذُقْTastedhuqإِنَّكَIndeed, youinnakaأَنتَ[you] (were)antaٱلْعَزِيزُthe mightyl-ʿazīzuٱلْكَرِيمُthe noblel-karīmu٤٩
[It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble!
٤٤:٥٠
إِنَّIndeedinnaهَـٰذَاthishādhāمَا(is) whatكُنتُمyou used tokuntumبِهِۦ[about it]bihiتَمْتَرُونَdoubttamtarūna٥٠
Indeed, this is what you used to dispute."
٤٤:٥١
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلْمُتَّقِينَthe righteousl-mutaqīnaفِى(will be) inمَقَامٍa placemaqāminأَمِينٍۢsecureamīnin٥١
Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place:
٤٤:٥٢
فِىInجَنَّـٰتٍۢgardensjannātinوَعُيُونٍۢand springswaʿuyūnin٥٢
Within gardens and springs,
٤٤:٥٣
يَلْبَسُونَWearing garmentsyalbasūnaمِنofminسُندُسٍۢfine silksundusinوَإِسْتَبْرَقٍۢand heavy silkwa-is'tabraqinمُّتَقَـٰبِلِينَfacing each othermutaqābilīna٥٣
Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other.
٤٤:٥٤
كَذَٰلِكَThuskadhālikaوَزَوَّجْنَـٰهُمAnd We will marry themwazawwajnāhumبِحُورٍ(to) companions with beautiful eyesbiḥūrinعِينٍۢ(to) companions with beautiful eyesʿīnin٥٤
Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes.
٤٤:٥٥
يَدْعُونَThey will callyadʿūnaفِيهَاthereinfīhāبِكُلِّfor every (kind)bikulliفَـٰكِهَةٍ(of) fruitfākihatinءَامِنِينَsecureāminīna٥٥
They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure.
٤٤:٥٦
لَاNotيَذُوقُونَthey will tasteyadhūqūnaفِيهَاthereinfīhāٱلْمَوْتَthe deathl-mawtaإِلَّاexceptillāٱلْمَوْتَةَthe deathl-mawtataٱلْأُولَىٰ ۖthe firstl-ūlāوَوَقَىٰهُمْAnd He will protect themwawaqāhumعَذَابَ(from the) punishmentʿadhābaٱلْجَحِيمِ(of) the Hellfirel-jaḥīmi٥٦
They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire
٤٤:٥٧
فَضْلًۭاA Bountyfaḍlanمِّنfromminرَّبِّكَ ۚyour LordrabbikaذَٰلِكَThat dhālikaهُوَithuwaٱلْفَوْزُ(will be) the successl-fawzuٱلْعَظِيمُthe greatl-ʿaẓīmu٥٧
As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment.
٤٤:٥٨
فَإِنَّمَاIndeedfa-innamāيَسَّرْنَـٰهُWe have made it easyyassarnāhuبِلِسَانِكَin your tonguebilisānikaلَعَلَّهُمْso that they maylaʿallahumيَتَذَكَّرُونَtake heedyatadhakkarūna٥٨
And indeed, We have eased it [i.e., the Qur’ān] in your tongue that they might be reminded.
٤٤:٥٩
فَٱرْتَقِبْSo watchfa-ir'taqibإِنَّهُمindeed, theyinnahumمُّرْتَقِبُونَ(too are) watchingmur'taqibūna٥٩
So watch, [O Muḥammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end].
