الفجر
سورة الفجر (الفجر) هي السورة رقم ٨٩ في القرآن الكريم — وهي سورة مكية تتألف من ٣٠ آية. السور المكية نزلت قبل هجرة النبي محمد ﷺ إلى المدينة، وتركّز غالبًا على الإيمان وتوحيد الله والآخرة.

بسملة
بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
٨٩:١
وَٱلْفَجْرِBy the dawnwal-fajri١
By the dawn
٨٩:٢
وَلَيَالٍAnd the nightswalayālinعَشْرٍۢtenʿashrin٢
And [by] ten nights
٨٩:٣
وَٱلشَّفْعِAnd the evenwal-shafʿiوَٱلْوَتْرِand the oddwal-watri٣
And [by] the even [number] and the odd
٨٩:٤
وَٱلَّيْلِAnd the nightwa-al-layliإِذَاwhenidhāيَسْرِit passesyasri٤
And [by] the night when it passes,
٨٩:٥
هَلْIshalفِىinfīذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaقَسَمٌۭ(not) an oathqasamunلِّذِىfor thoselidhīحِجْرٍwho understandḥij'rin٥
Is there [not] in [all] that an oath [sufficient] for one of perception?
٨٩:٦
أَلَمْDid notalamتَرَyou seetaraكَيْفَhowkayfaفَعَلَdealtfaʿalaرَبُّكَyour Lordrabbukaبِعَادٍwith Aadbiʿādin٦
Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with ʿAad -
٨٩:٧
إِرَمَIramiramaذَاتِpossessors (of)dhātiٱلْعِمَادِlofty pillarsl-ʿimādi٧
[With] Iram - who had lofty pillars,
٨٩:٨
ٱلَّتِىWhichallatīلَمْnotlamيُخْلَقْhad been createdyukh'laqمِثْلُهَاlike themmith'luhāفِىinfīٱلْبِلَـٰدِthe citiesl-bilādi٨
The likes of whom had never been created in the land?
٨٩:٩
وَثَمُودَAnd Thamudwathamūdaٱلَّذِينَwhoalladhīnaجَابُوا۟carved outjābūٱلصَّخْرَthe rocksl-ṣakhraبِٱلْوَادِin the valleybil-wādi٩
And [with] Thamūd, who carved out the rocks in the valley?
٨٩:١٠
وَفِرْعَوْنَAnd Firaunwafir'ʿawnaذِىowner ofdhīٱلْأَوْتَادِstakesl-awtādi١٠
And [with] Pharaoh, owner of the stakes?
٨٩:١١
ٱلَّذِينَWhoalladhīnaطَغَوْا۟transgressedṭaghawفِىinfīٱلْبِلَـٰدِthe landsl-bilādi١١
[All of] whom oppressed within the lands
٨٩:١٢
فَأَكْثَرُوا۟And (made) muchfa-aktharūفِيهَاthereinfīhāٱلْفَسَادَcorruptionl-fasāda١٢
And increased therein the corruption.
٨٩:١٣
فَصَبَّSo pouredfaṣabbaعَلَيْهِمْon themʿalayhimرَبُّكَyour Lordrabbukaسَوْطَscourgesawṭaعَذَابٍ(of) punishmentʿadhābin١٣
So your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment.
٨٩:١٤
إِنَّIndeedinnaرَبَّكَyour Lordrabbakaلَبِٱلْمِرْصَادِ(is) surely Ever Watchfullabil-mir'ṣādi١٤
Indeed, your Lord is in observation.
٨٩:١٥
فَأَمَّاAnd as forfa-ammāٱلْإِنسَـٰنُmanl-insānuإِذَاwhenidhāمَاdoesmāٱبْتَلَىٰهُtry himib'talāhuرَبُّهُۥhis Lordrabbuhuفَأَكْرَمَهُۥand is generous to himfa-akramahuوَنَعَّمَهُۥand favors himwanaʿʿamahuفَيَقُولُhe saysfayaqūluرَبِّىٓMy Lordrabbīأَكْرَمَنِhas honored meakramani١٥
And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me."1
٨٩:١٦
وَأَمَّآButwa-ammāإِذَاwhenidhāمَاdoesmāٱبْتَلَىٰهُHe try himib'talāhuفَقَدَرَand restrictsfaqadaraعَلَيْهِfor himʿalayhiرِزْقَهُۥhis provisionriz'qahuفَيَقُولُthen he saysfayaqūluرَبِّىٓMy Lordrabbīأَهَـٰنَنِ(has) humiliated meahānani١٦
But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me."
٨٩:١٧
كَلَّا ۖNaykallāبَلButbalلَّاnotlāتُكْرِمُونَyou honortuk'rimūnaٱلْيَتِيمَthe orphanl-yatīma١٧
No! But you do not honor the orphan
٨٩:١٨
وَلَاAnd notwalāتَحَـٰٓضُّونَyou feel the urgetaḥāḍḍūnaعَلَىٰtoʿalāطَعَامِfeedṭaʿāmiٱلْمِسْكِينِthe poorl-mis'kīni١٨
And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor.
٨٩:١٩
وَتَأْكُلُونَAnd you consumewatakulūnaٱلتُّرَاثَthe inheritancel-turāthaأَكْلًۭاdevouringaklanلَّمًّۭاaltogetherlamman١٩
And you consume inheritance, devouring [it] altogether,
٨٩:٢٠
وَتُحِبُّونَAnd you lovewatuḥibbūnaٱلْمَالَwealthl-mālaحُبًّۭا(with) loveḥubbanجَمًّۭاimmensejamman٢٠
And you love wealth with immense love.
٨٩:٢١
كَلَّآNaykallāإِذَاWhenidhāدُكَّتِis leveleddukkatiٱلْأَرْضُthe earthl-arḍuدَكًّۭاpoundeddakkanدَكًّۭا(and) crusheddakkan٢١
No! When the earth has been leveled - pounded and crushed
٨٩:٢٢
وَجَآءَAnd comeswajāaرَبُّكَyour Lordrabbukaوَٱلْمَلَكُand the Angelswal-malakuصَفًّۭاrankṣaffanصَفًّۭا(upon) rankṣaffan٢٢
And your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank,
٨٩:٢٣
وَجِا۟ىٓءَAnd is broughtwajīaيَوْمَئِذٍۭthat Dayyawma-idhinبِجَهَنَّمَ ۚHellbijahannamaيَوْمَئِذٍۢThat Dayyawma-idhinيَتَذَكَّرُwill rememberyatadhakkaruٱلْإِنسَـٰنُmanl-insānuوَأَنَّىٰbut howwa-annāلَهُ(will be) for himlahuٱلذِّكْرَىٰthe remembrancel-dhik'rā٢٣
And brought [within view], that Day, is Hell - that Day, man will remember, but how [i.e., what good] to him will be the remembrance?
٨٩:٢٤
يَقُولُHe will sayyaqūluيَـٰلَيْتَنِىO I wishyālaytanīقَدَّمْتُI had sent forthqaddamtuلِحَيَاتِىfor my lifeliḥayātī٢٤
He will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life."1
٨٩:٢٥
فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢSo that Dayfayawma-idhinلَّاnotlāيُعَذِّبُwill punishyuʿadhibuعَذَابَهُۥٓ(as) His punishmentʿadhābahuأَحَدٌۭanyoneaḥadun٢٥
So on that Day, none will punish [as severely] as His punishment,
٨٩:٢٦
وَلَاAnd notwalāيُوثِقُwill bindyūthiquوَثَاقَهُۥٓ(as) His bindingwathāqahuأَحَدٌۭanyoneaḥadun٢٦
And none will bind [as severely] as His binding [of the evildoers].
٨٩:٢٧
يَـٰٓأَيَّتُهَاOyāayyatuhāٱلنَّفْسُsoull-nafsuٱلْمُطْمَئِنَّةُwho is satisfiedl-muṭ'ma-inatu٢٧
[To the righteous it will be said], "O reassured soul,
٨٩:٢٨
ٱرْجِعِىٓReturnir'jiʿīإِلَىٰtoilāرَبِّكِyour Lordrabbikiرَاضِيَةًۭwell pleasedrāḍiyatanمَّرْضِيَّةًۭand pleasingmarḍiyyatan٢٨
Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him],
٨٩:٢٩
فَٱدْخُلِىSo enterfa-ud'khulīفِىamongfīعِبَـٰدِىMy slavesʿibādī٢٩
And enter among My [righteous] servants
٨٩:٣٠
وَٱدْخُلِىAnd enterwa-ud'khulīجَنَّتِىMy Paradisejannatī٣٠
And enter My Paradise."
