الفرقان
سورة الفرقان (الفرقان) هي السورة رقم ٢٥ في القرآن الكريم — وهي سورة مكية تتألف من ٧٧ آية. السور المكية نزلت قبل هجرة النبي محمد ﷺ إلى المدينة، وتركّز غالبًا على الإيمان وتوحيد الله والآخرة.

بسملة
بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
٢٥:١
تَبَارَكَBlessed is HetabārakaٱلَّذِىWhoalladhīنَزَّلَsent downnazzalaٱلْفُرْقَانَthe Criterionl-fur'qānaعَلَىٰuponʿalāعَبْدِهِۦHis slaveʿabdihiلِيَكُونَthat he may beliyakūnaلِلْعَـٰلَمِينَto the worldslil'ʿālamīnaنَذِيرًاa warner nadhīran١
Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His Servant that he may be to the worlds a warner -
٢٥:٢
ٱلَّذِىThe One Who alladhīلَهُۥto Him (belongs)lahuمُلْكُ(the) dominionmul'kuٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِand the earthwal-arḍiوَلَمْand notwalamيَتَّخِذْHe has takenyattakhidhوَلَدًۭاa sonwaladanوَلَمْand notwalamيَكُنHe hasyakunلَّهُۥfor Himlahuشَرِيكٌۭa partnersharīkunفِىinfīٱلْمُلْكِthe dominionl-mul'kiوَخَلَقَand He (has) createdwakhalaqaكُلَّeverykullaشَىْءٍۢthingshayinفَقَدَّرَهُۥand determined itfaqaddarahuتَقْدِيرًۭا(with) determinationtaqdīran٢
He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and who has not taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination.
٢٥:٣
وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟Yet they have takenwa-ittakhadhūمِنbesides Himminدُونِهِۦٓbesides Himdūnihiءَالِهَةًۭgodsālihatanلَّاnotlāيَخْلُقُونَthey createyakhluqūnaشَيْـًۭٔاanythingshayanوَهُمْwhile theywahumيُخْلَقُونَare createdyukh'laqūnaوَلَاand notwalāيَمْلِكُونَthey possessyamlikūnaلِأَنفُسِهِمْfor themselvesli-anfusihimضَرًّۭاany harmḍarranوَلَاand notwalāنَفْعًۭاany benefitnafʿanوَلَاand notwalāيَمْلِكُونَthey controlyamlikūnaمَوْتًۭاdeathmawtanوَلَاand notwalāحَيَوٰةًۭlifeḥayatanوَلَاand notwalāنُشُورًۭاresurrectionnushūran٣
But they have taken besides Him gods which create nothing, while they are created, and possess not for themselves any harm or benefit and possess not [power to cause] death or life or resurrection.
٢٥:٤
وَقَالَAnd saywaqālaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوٓا۟disbelievekafarūإِنْNotinهَـٰذَآthishādhāإِلَّآ(is) butillāإِفْكٌa lieif'kunٱفْتَرَىٰهُhe invented itif'tarāhuوَأَعَانَهُۥand helped himwa-aʿānahuعَلَيْهِat itʿalayhiقَوْمٌpeopleqawmunءَاخَرُونَ ۖotherākharūnaفَقَدْBut verilyfaqadجَآءُوthey (have) producedjāūظُلْمًۭاan injusticeẓul'manوَزُورًۭاand a liewazūran٤
And those who disbelieve say, "This [Qur’ān] is not except a falsehood he invented, and another people assisted him in it." But they have committed an injustice and a lie.
٢٥:٥
وَقَالُوٓا۟And they saywaqālūأَسَـٰطِيرُTalesasāṭīruٱلْأَوَّلِينَ(of) the former peoplel-awalīnaٱكْتَتَبَهَاwhich he has had writtenik'tatabahāفَهِىَand theyfahiyaتُمْلَىٰare dictatedtum'lāعَلَيْهِto himʿalayhiبُكْرَةًۭmorningbuk'ratanوَأَصِيلًۭاand eveningwa-aṣīlan٥
And they say, "Legends of the former peoples which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon."
٢٥:٦
قُلْSayqulأَنزَلَهُHas sent it downanzalahuٱلَّذِىthe One Whoalladhīيَعْلَمُknowsyaʿlamuٱلسِّرَّthe secretl-siraفِىinfīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚand the earthwal-arḍiإِنَّهُۥIndeed, HeinnahuكَانَiskānaغَفُورًۭاOft-ForgivingghafūranرَّحِيمًۭاMost Mercifulraḥīman٦
Say, [O Muḥammad], "It has been revealed by He who knows [every] secret within the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He is ever Forgiving and Merciful."
٢٥:٧
وَقَالُوا۟And they saywaqālūمَالِWhy doesmāliهَـٰذَاthishādhāٱلرَّسُولِMessengerl-rasūliيَأْكُلُeatyakuluٱلطَّعَامَ[the] foodl-ṭaʿāmaوَيَمْشِىand walkwayamshīفِىinfīٱلْأَسْوَاقِ ۙthe marketsl-aswāqiلَوْلَآWhy notlawlāأُنزِلَis sent downunzilaإِلَيْهِto himilayhiمَلَكٌۭan Angelmalakunفَيَكُونَthen he befayakūnaمَعَهُۥwith himmaʿahuنَذِيرًاa warnernadhīran٧
And they say, "What is this messenger that eats food and walks in the markets? Why was there not sent down to him an angel so he would be with him a warner?
٢٥:٨
أَوْOrawيُلْقَىٰٓis deliveredyul'qāإِلَيْهِto himilayhiكَنزٌa treasurekanzunأَوْorawتَكُونُistakūnuلَهُۥfor himlahuجَنَّةٌۭa gardenjannatunيَأْكُلُhe may eatyakuluمِنْهَا ۚfrom itmin'hāوَقَالَAnd saywaqālaٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَthe wrongdoersl-ẓālimūnaإِنNotinتَتَّبِعُونَyou followtattabiʿūnaإِلَّاbutillāرَجُلًۭاa manrajulanمَّسْحُورًاbewitchedmasḥūran٨
Or [why is not] a treasure presented to him [from heaven], or does he [not] have a garden from which he eats?" And the wrongdoers say, "You follow not but a man affected by magic."
٢٥:٩
ٱنظُرْSeeunẓurكَيْفَhowkayfaضَرَبُوا۟they set forthḍarabūلَكَfor youlakaٱلْأَمْثَـٰلَthe similitudesl-amthālaفَضَلُّوا۟but they have gone astrayfaḍallūفَلَاso notfalāيَسْتَطِيعُونَthey are able (to find)yastaṭīʿūnaسَبِيلًۭاa waysabīlan٩
Look how they strike for you comparisons; but they have strayed, so they cannot [find] a way.
٢٥:١٠
تَبَارَكَBlessed is HetabārakaٱلَّذِىٓWhoalladhīإِنifinشَآءَHe willedshāaجَعَلَ(could have) madejaʿalaلَكَfor youlakaخَيْرًۭاbetterkhayranمِّنthanminذَٰلِكَthat dhālikaجَنَّـٰتٍۢgardens jannātinتَجْرِىflowtajrīمِنfromminتَحْتِهَاunderneath ittaḥtihāٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُthe riversl-anhāruوَيَجْعَلand He (could) makewayajʿalلَّكَfor youlakaقُصُورًۢاpalacesquṣūran١٠
Blessed is He who, if He willed, could have made for you [something] better than that - gardens beneath which rivers flow - and could make for you palaces.
٢٥:١١
بَلْNaybalكَذَّبُوا۟they denykadhabūبِٱلسَّاعَةِ ۖthe Hourbil-sāʿatiوَأَعْتَدْنَاand We have preparedwa-aʿtadnāلِمَنfor (those) wholimanكَذَّبَdenykadhabaبِٱلسَّاعَةِthe Hourbil-sāʿatiسَعِيرًاa Blazing Firesaʿīran١١
But they have denied the Hour, and We have prepared for those who deny the Hour a Blaze.
٢٥:١٢
إِذَاWhenidhāرَأَتْهُمit sees themra-athumمِّنfromminمَّكَانٍۭa placemakāninبَعِيدٍۢfarbaʿīdinسَمِعُوا۟they will hearsamiʿūلَهَاitslahāتَغَيُّظًۭاragingtaghayyuẓanوَزَفِيرًۭاand roaringwazafīran١٢
When it [i.e., the Hellfire] sees them from a distant place, they will hear its fury and roaring.
٢٥:١٣
وَإِذَآAnd whenwa-idhāأُلْقُوا۟they are thrownul'qūمِنْهَاthereofmin'hāمَكَانًۭا(in) a placemakānanضَيِّقًۭاnarrowḍayyiqanمُّقَرَّنِينَbound in chainsmuqarranīnaدَعَوْا۟they will calldaʿawهُنَالِكَtherehunālikaثُبُورًۭا(for) destructionthubūran١٣
And when they are thrown into a narrow place therein bound in chains, they will cry out thereupon for destruction.
٢٥:١٤
لَّا(Do) notlāتَدْعُوا۟calltadʿūٱلْيَوْمَthis dayl-yawmaثُبُورًۭا(for) destructionthubūranوَٰحِدًۭاonewāḥidanوَٱدْعُوا۟but callwa-id'ʿūثُبُورًۭا(for) destructionsthubūranكَثِيرًۭاmanykathīran١٤
[They will be told], "Do not cry this Day for one destruction but cry for much destruction."
٢٥:١٥
قُلْSayqulأَذَٰلِكَIs thatadhālikaخَيْرٌbetterkhayrunأَمْoramجَنَّةُGardenjannatuٱلْخُلْدِ(of) Eternityl-khul'diٱلَّتِىwhichallatīوُعِدَis promisedwuʿidaٱلْمُتَّقُونَ ۚ(to) the righteousl-mutaqūnaكَانَتْIt will bekānatلَهُمْfor themlahumجَزَآءًۭa rewardjazāanوَمَصِيرًۭاand destinationwamaṣīran١٥
Say, "Is that better or the Garden of Eternity which is promised to the righteous? It will be for them a reward and destination.
٢٥:١٦
لَّهُمْFor themlahumفِيهَاthereinfīhāمَا(is) whatevermāيَشَآءُونَthey wishyashāūnaخَـٰلِدِينَ ۚthey will abide foreverkhālidīnaكَانَIt iskānaعَلَىٰonʿalāرَبِّكَyour Lordrabbikaوَعْدًۭاa promisewaʿdanمَّسْـُٔولًۭاrequestedmasūlan١٦
For them therein is whatever they wish, [while] abiding eternally. It is ever upon your Lord a promise [worthy to be] requested.
٢٥:١٧
وَيَوْمَAnd (the) DaywayawmaيَحْشُرُهُمْHe will gather themyaḥshuruhumوَمَاand whatwamāيَعْبُدُونَthey worshipyaʿbudūnaمِنbesides Allahminدُونِbesides Allahdūniٱللَّهِbesides Allahl-lahiفَيَقُولُand He will sayfayaqūluءَأَنتُمْDid youa-antumأَضْلَلْتُمْ[you] misleadaḍlaltumعِبَادِىMy slavesʿibādīهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِthesehāulāiأَمْoramهُمْtheyhumضَلُّوا۟went astrayḍallūٱلسَّبِيلَ(from) the wayl-sabīla١٧
And [mention] the Day He will gather them and that which they worship besides Allāh and will say, "Did you mislead these, My servants, or did they [themselves] stray from the way?"
٢٥:١٨
قَالُوا۟They sayqālūسُبْحَـٰنَكَGlory be to Yousub'ḥānakaمَاNotmāكَانَit was properkānaيَنۢبَغِىit was properyanbaghīلَنَآfor uslanāأَنthatanنَّتَّخِذَwe takenattakhidhaمِنbesides Youminدُونِكَbesides YoudūnikaمِنْanyminأَوْلِيَآءَprotectorsawliyāaوَلَـٰكِنButwalākinمَّتَّعْتَهُمْYou gave them comfortsmattaʿtahumوَءَابَآءَهُمْand their forefatherswaābāahumحَتَّىٰuntilḥattāنَسُوا۟they forgotnasūٱلذِّكْرَthe Messagel-dhik'raوَكَانُوا۟and becamewakānūقَوْمًۢاa peopleqawmanبُورًۭاruinedbūran١٨
They will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for us to take besides You any allies [i.e., protectors]. But You provided comforts for them and their fathers until they forgot the message and became a people ruined."
٢٥:١٩
فَقَدْSo verilyfaqadكَذَّبُوكُمthey deny youkadhabūkumبِمَاin whatbimāتَقُولُونَyou saytaqūlūnaفَمَاso notfamāتَسْتَطِيعُونَyou are abletastaṭīʿūnaصَرْفًۭا(to) avertṣarfanوَلَاand notwalāنَصْرًۭا ۚ(to) helpnaṣranوَمَنAnd whoeverwamanيَظْلِمdoes wrongyaẓlimمِّنكُمْamong youminkumنُذِقْهُWe will make him tastenudhiq'huعَذَابًۭاa punishmentʿadhābanكَبِيرًۭاgreatkabīran١٩
So they will deny you, [disbelievers], in what you say, and you cannot avert [punishment] or [find] help. And whoever commits injustice among you - We will make him taste a great punishment.
٢٥:٢٠
وَمَآAnd notwamāأَرْسَلْنَاWe sentarsalnāقَبْلَكَbefore youqablakaمِنَanyminaٱلْمُرْسَلِينَMessengersl-mur'salīnaإِلَّآbutillāإِنَّهُمْindeed, theyinnahumلَيَأْكُلُونَ[surely] atelayakulūnaٱلطَّعَامَfoodl-ṭaʿāmaوَيَمْشُونَand walkedwayamshūnaفِىinfīٱلْأَسْوَاقِ ۗthe marketsl-aswāqiوَجَعَلْنَاAnd We have madewajaʿalnāبَعْضَكُمْsome of youbaʿḍakumلِبَعْضٍۢfor otherslibaʿḍinفِتْنَةًa trialfit'natanأَتَصْبِرُونَ ۗwill you have patienceataṣbirūnaوَكَانَAnd iswakānaرَبُّكَyour LordrabbukaبَصِيرًۭاAll-Seerbaṣīran٢٠
And We did not send before you, [O Muḥammad], any of the messengers except that they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you [people] as trial for others - will you have patience? And ever is your Lord, Seeing.
٢٥:٢١
۞ وَقَالَAnd saidwaqālaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaلَا(do) notlāيَرْجُونَexpectyarjūnaلِقَآءَنَا(the) meeting with UsliqāanāلَوْلَآWhy notlawlāأُنزِلَare sent downunzilaعَلَيْنَاto usʿalaynāٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُthe Angelsl-malāikatuأَوْorawنَرَىٰwe seenarāرَبَّنَا ۗour LordrabbanāلَقَدِIndeedlaqadiٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟they have become arrogantis'takbarūفِىٓwithinfīأَنفُسِهِمْthemselvesanfusihimوَعَتَوْand (become) insolentwaʿatawعُتُوًّۭا(with) insolenceʿutuwwanكَبِيرًۭاgreatkabīran٢١
And those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?" They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence.
٢٥:٢٢
يَوْمَ(The) Dayyawmaيَرَوْنَthey seeyarawnaٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَthe Angelsl-malāikataلَاnolāبُشْرَىٰglad tidingsbush'rāيَوْمَئِذٍۢ(will be) that Dayyawma-idhinلِّلْمُجْرِمِينَfor the criminalslil'muj'rimīnaوَيَقُولُونَand they will saywayaqūlūnaحِجْرًۭاA partitionḥij'ranمَّحْجُورًۭاforbiddenmaḥjūran٢٢
The day they see the angels - no good tidings will there be that day for the criminals, and [the angels] will say, "Prevented and inaccessible."2
٢٥:٢٣
وَقَدِمْنَآAnd We will proceedwaqadim'nāإِلَىٰtoilāمَاwhatevermāعَمِلُوا۟they didʿamilūمِنْofminعَمَلٍۢ(the) deed(s)ʿamalinفَجَعَلْنَـٰهُand We will make themfajaʿalnāhuهَبَآءًۭ(as) dusthabāanمَّنثُورًاdispersedmanthūran٢٣
And We will approach [i.e., regard]1 what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed.
٢٥:٢٤
أَصْحَـٰبُ(The) companionsaṣḥābuٱلْجَنَّةِ(of) Paradisel-janatiيَوْمَئِذٍthat Dayyawma-idhinخَيْرٌۭ(will be in) a betterkhayrunمُّسْتَقَرًّۭاabodemus'taqarranوَأَحْسَنُand a betterwa-aḥsanuمَقِيلًۭاresting-placemaqīlan٢٤
The companions of Paradise, that Day, are [in] a better settlement and better resting place.
٢٥:٢٥
وَيَوْمَAnd (the) Daywayawmaتَشَقَّقُwill split opentashaqqaquٱلسَّمَآءُthe heavensl-samāuبِٱلْغَمَـٰمِwith the cloudsbil-ghamāmiوَنُزِّلَand (will be) sent downwanuzzilaٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُthe Angelsl-malāikatuتَنزِيلًاdescendingtanzīlan٢٥
And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down in successive descent.
٢٥:٢٦
ٱلْمُلْكُThe Sovereigntyal-mul'kuيَوْمَئِذٍthat Dayyawma-idhinٱلْحَقُّ(will be) trulyl-ḥaquلِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ۚfor the Most GraciouslilrraḥmāniوَكَانَAnd (it will) bewakānaيَوْمًاa Dayyawmanعَلَىforʿalāٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَthe disbelieversl-kāfirīnaعَسِيرًۭاdifficultʿasīran٢٦
True sovereignty, that Day, is for the Most Merciful. And it will be upon the disbelievers a difficult Day.
٢٥:٢٧
وَيَوْمَAnd (the) Daywayawmaيَعَضُّwill biteyaʿaḍḍuٱلظَّالِمُthe wrongdoerl-ẓālimuعَلَىٰ[on]ʿalāيَدَيْهِhis handsyadayhiيَقُولُhe will sayyaqūluيَـٰلَيْتَنِىO I wishyālaytanīٱتَّخَذْتُI had takenittakhadhtuمَعَwithmaʿaٱلرَّسُولِthe Messengerl-rasūliسَبِيلًۭاa waysabīlan٢٧
And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, "Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way.
٢٥:٢٨
يَـٰوَيْلَتَىٰO woe to meyāwaylatāلَيْتَنِىI wishlaytanīلَمْnotlamأَتَّخِذْI had takenattakhidhفُلَانًاthat onefulānanخَلِيلًۭا(as) a friendkhalīlan٢٨
Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend.
٢٥:٢٩
لَّقَدْVerilylaqadأَضَلَّنِىhe led me astrayaḍallanīعَنِfromʿaniٱلذِّكْرِthe Reminderl-dhik'riبَعْدَafterbaʿdaإِذْ[when]idhجَآءَنِى ۗit (had) come to mejāanīوَكَانَAnd iswakānaٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُthe Shaitaanl-shayṭānuلِلْإِنسَـٰنِto the manlil'insāniخَذُولًۭاa deserterkhadhūlan٢٩
He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter."2
٢٥:٣٠
وَقَالَAnd saidwaqālaٱلرَّسُولُthe Messengerl-rasūluيَـٰرَبِّO my LordyārabbiإِنَّIndeedinnaقَوْمِىmy peopleqawmīٱتَّخَذُوا۟tookittakhadhūهَـٰذَاthishādhāٱلْقُرْءَانَthe Quranl-qur'ānaمَهْجُورًۭا(as) a forsaken thingmahjūran٣٠
And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur’ān as [a thing] abandoned."1
٢٥:٣١
وَكَذَٰلِكَAnd thuswakadhālikaجَعَلْنَاWe have madejaʿalnāلِكُلِّfor everylikulliنَبِىٍّProphetnabiyyinعَدُوًّۭاan enemyʿaduwwanمِّنَamongminaٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ۗthe criminalsl-muj'rimīnaوَكَفَىٰBut sufficient iswakafāبِرَبِّكَyour Lordbirabbikaهَادِيًۭا(as) a Guidehādiyanوَنَصِيرًۭاand a Helperwanaṣīran٣١
And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and a helper.
٢٥:٣٢
وَقَالَAnd saidwaqālaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūلَوْلَاWhy notlawlāنُزِّلَwas revealednuzzilaعَلَيْهِto himʿalayhiٱلْقُرْءَانُthe Quranl-qur'ānuجُمْلَةًۭall at oncejum'latanوَٰحِدَةًۭ ۚall at oncewāḥidatanكَذَٰلِكَThuskadhālikaلِنُثَبِّتَthat We may strengthenlinuthabbitaبِهِۦtherebybihiفُؤَادَكَ ۖyour heartfuādakaوَرَتَّلْنَـٰهُand We have recited itwarattalnāhuتَرْتِيلًۭا(with distinct) recitationtartīlan٣٢
And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur’ān not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly.
٢٥:٣٣
وَلَاAnd notwalāيَأْتُونَكَthey come to youyatūnakaبِمَثَلٍwith an examplebimathalinإِلَّاbutillāجِئْنَـٰكَWe bring youji'nākaبِٱلْحَقِّthe truthbil-ḥaqiوَأَحْسَنَand (the) bestwa-aḥsanaتَفْسِيرًاexplanationtafsīran٣٣
And they do not come to you with an example [i.e., argument] except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation.
٢٥:٣٤
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaيُحْشَرُونَwill be gatheredyuḥ'sharūnaعَلَىٰonʿalāوُجُوهِهِمْtheir faceswujūhihimإِلَىٰtoilāجَهَنَّمَHelljahannamaأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthoseulāikaشَرٌّۭ(are the) worstsharrunمَّكَانًۭا(in) positionmakānanوَأَضَلُّand most astraywa-aḍalluسَبِيلًۭا(from the) waysabīlan٣٤
The ones who are gathered on their faces to Hell - those are the worst in position and farthest astray in [their] way.
٢٥:٣٥
وَلَقَدْAnd verilywalaqadءَاتَيْنَاWe gaveātaynāمُوسَىMusamūsāٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Scripturel-kitābaوَجَعَلْنَاand We appointedwajaʿalnāمَعَهُۥٓwith himmaʿahuأَخَاهُhis brotherakhāhuهَـٰرُونَHarunhārūnaوَزِيرًۭا(as) an assistantwazīran٣٥
And We had certainly given Moses the Scripture and appointed with him his brother Aaron as an assistant.
٢٥:٣٦
فَقُلْنَاThen We saidfaqul'nāٱذْهَبَآGo both of youidh'habāإِلَىtoilāٱلْقَوْمِthe peoplel-qawmiٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَذَّبُوا۟have deniedkadhabūبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاOur SignsbiāyātināفَدَمَّرْنَـٰهُمْThen We destroyed themfadammarnāhumتَدْمِيرًۭا(with) destructiontadmīran٣٦
And We said, "Go both of you to the people who have denied Our signs." Then We destroyed them with [complete] destruction.
٢٥:٣٧
وَقَوْمَAnd (the) peoplewaqawmaنُوحٍۢ(of) Nuhnūḥinلَّمَّاwhenlammāكَذَّبُوا۟they deniedkadhabūٱلرُّسُلَthe Messengersl-rusulaأَغْرَقْنَـٰهُمْWe drowned themaghraqnāhumوَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْand We made themwajaʿalnāhumلِلنَّاسِfor mankindlilnnāsiءَايَةًۭ ۖa signāyatanوَأَعْتَدْنَاAnd We have preparedwa-aʿtadnāلِلظَّـٰلِمِينَfor the wrongdoerslilẓẓālimīnaعَذَابًاa punishmentʿadhābanأَلِيمًۭاpainfulalīman٣٧
And the people of Noah - when they denied the messengers, We drowned them, and We made them for mankind a sign. And We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment.
٢٥:٣٨
وَعَادًۭاAnd Adwaʿādanوَثَمُودَا۟and Thamudwathamūdāوَأَصْحَـٰبَand (the) dwellerswa-aṣḥābaٱلرَّسِّ(of) Ar-rassl-rasiوَقُرُونًۢاand generationswaqurūnanبَيْنَbetweenbaynaذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaكَثِيرًۭاmanykathīran٣٨
And [We destroyed] ʿAad and Thamūd and the companions of the well and many generations between them.
٢٥:٣٩
وَكُلًّۭاAnd eachwakullanضَرَبْنَاWe have set forthḍarabnāلَهُfor himlahuٱلْأَمْثَـٰلَ ۖthe examplesl-amthālaوَكُلًّۭاand eachwakullanتَبَّرْنَاWe destroyedtabbarnāتَتْبِيرًۭا(with) destructiontatbīran٣٩
And for each We presented examples [as warnings], and each We destroyed with [total] destruction.
٢٥:٤٠
وَلَقَدْAnd verilywalaqadأَتَوْا۟they have comeatawعَلَىuponʿalāٱلْقَرْيَةِthe townl-qaryatiٱلَّتِىٓwhichallatīأُمْطِرَتْwas showeredum'ṭiratمَطَرَ(with) a rainmaṭaraٱلسَّوْءِ ۚ(of) evill-sawiأَفَلَمْThen do notafalamيَكُونُوا۟they [were]yakūnūيَرَوْنَهَا ۚsee ityarawnahāبَلْNaybalكَانُوا۟they arekānūلَاnotlāيَرْجُونَexpectingyarjūnaنُشُورًۭاResurrectionnushūran٤٠
And they have already come upon the town which was showered with a rain of evil [i.e., stones]. So have they not seen it? But they are not expecting resurrection.
٢٥:٤١
وَإِذَاAnd whenwa-idhāرَأَوْكَthey see youra-awkaإِنnotinيَتَّخِذُونَكَthey take youyattakhidhūnakaإِلَّاexceptillāهُزُوًا(in) mockeryhuzuwanأَهَـٰذَاIs thisahādhāٱلَّذِىthe one whomalladhīبَعَثَAllah has sentbaʿathaٱللَّهُAllah has sentl-lahuرَسُولًا(as) a Messengerrasūlan٤١
And when they see you, [O Muḥammad], they take you not except in ridicule, [saying], "Is this the one whom Allāh has sent as a messenger?
٢٥:٤٢
إِنHe would have almostinكَادَHe would have almostkādaلَيُضِلُّنَا[surely] misled uslayuḍillunāعَنْfromʿanءَالِهَتِنَاour godsālihatināلَوْلَآif notlawlāأَنthatanصَبَرْنَاwe had been steadfastṣabarnāعَلَيْهَا ۚto themʿalayhāوَسَوْفَAnd soonwasawfaيَعْلَمُونَwill knowyaʿlamūnaحِينَwhenḥīnaيَرَوْنَthey will seeyarawnaٱلْعَذَابَthe punishmentl-ʿadhābaمَنْwhomanأَضَلُّ(is) more astrayaḍalluسَبِيلًا(from the) waysabīlan٤٢
He almost would have misled us from our gods had we not been steadfast in [worship of] them." But they are going to know, when they see the punishment, who is farthest astray in [his] way.
٢٥:٤٣
أَرَءَيْتَHave you seenara-aytaمَنِ(one) whomaniٱتَّخَذَtakesittakhadhaإِلَـٰهَهُۥ(as) his godilāhahuهَوَىٰهُhis own desirehawāhuأَفَأَنتَThen would youafa-antaتَكُونُbetakūnuعَلَيْهِover himʿalayhiوَكِيلًاa guardianwakīlan٤٣
Have you seen the one who takes as his god his own desire? Then would you be responsible for him?
٢٥:٤٤
أَمْOramتَحْسَبُdo you thinktaḥsabuأَنَّthatannaأَكْثَرَهُمْmost of themaktharahumيَسْمَعُونَhearyasmaʿūnaأَوْorawيَعْقِلُونَ ۚunderstandyaʿqilūnaإِنْNotinهُمْtheyhumإِلَّا(are) exceptillāكَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ ۖlike cattlekal-anʿāmiبَلْNaybalهُمْtheyhumأَضَلُّ(are) more astrayaḍalluسَبِيلًا(from the) waysabīlan٤٤
Or do you think that most of them hear or reason? They are not except like livestock. Rather, they are [even] more astray in [their] way.
٢٥:٤٥
أَلَمْDo you notalamتَرَseetaraإِلَىٰ[to]ilāرَبِّكَyour LordrabbikaكَيْفَhowkayfaمَدَّHe extendsmaddaٱلظِّلَّthe shadowl-ẓilaوَلَوْAnd ifwalawشَآءَHe willedshāaلَجَعَلَهُۥsurely He (could) have made itlajaʿalahuسَاكِنًۭاstationarysākinanثُمَّThenthummaجَعَلْنَاWe madejaʿalnāٱلشَّمْسَthe sunl-shamsaعَلَيْهِfor itʿalayhiدَلِيلًۭاan indicationdalīlan٤٥
Have you not considered your Lord - how He extends the shadow, and if He willed, He could have made it stationary? Then We made the sun for it an indication.
٢٥:٤٦
ثُمَّThenthummaقَبَضْنَـٰهُWe withdraw itqabaḍnāhuإِلَيْنَاto Usilaynāقَبْضًۭاa withdrawalqabḍanيَسِيرًۭاgradualyasīran٤٦
Then We [retract and] hold it with Us for a brief grasp.
٢٥:٤٧
وَهُوَAnd Hewahuwaٱلَّذِى(is) the One Whoalladhīجَعَلَmadejaʿalaلَكُمُfor youlakumuٱلَّيْلَthe nightal-laylaلِبَاسًۭا(as) a coveringlibāsanوَٱلنَّوْمَand the sleepwal-nawmaسُبَاتًۭاa restsubātanوَجَعَلَand madewajaʿalaٱلنَّهَارَthe dayl-nahāraنُشُورًۭاa resurrectionnushūran٤٧
And it is He who has made the night for you as clothing and sleep [a means for] rest and has made the day a resurrection.
٢٥:٤٨
وَهُوَAnd Hewahuwaٱلَّذِىٓ(is) the One Whoalladhīأَرْسَلَsendsarsalaٱلرِّيَـٰحَthe windsl-riyāḥaبُشْرًۢا(as) glad tidingsbush'ranبَيْنَbeforebaynaيَدَىْbeforeyadayرَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚHis Mercyraḥmatihiوَأَنزَلْنَاand We send downwa-anzalnāمِنَfromminaٱلسَّمَآءِthe skyl-samāiمَآءًۭwatermāanطَهُورًۭاpureṭahūran٤٨
And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy [i.e., rainfall], and We send down from the sky pure water
٢٥:٤٩
لِّنُحْـِۧىَThat We may give lifelinuḥ'yiyaبِهِۦtherebybihiبَلْدَةًۭ(to) a landbaldatanمَّيْتًۭاdeadmaytanوَنُسْقِيَهُۥand We give drinkwanus'qiyahuمِمَّاthereofmimmāخَلَقْنَآ(to those) We createdkhalaqnāأَنْعَـٰمًۭاcattleanʿāmanوَأَنَاسِىَّand menwa-anāsiyyaكَثِيرًۭاmanykathīran٤٩
That We may bring to life thereby a dead land and give it as drink to those We created of numerous livestock and men.
٢٥:٥٠
وَلَقَدْAnd verilywalaqadصَرَّفْنَـٰهُWe have distributed itṣarrafnāhuبَيْنَهُمْamong thembaynahumلِيَذَّكَّرُوا۟that they may rememberliyadhakkarūفَأَبَىٰٓbut refusefa-abāأَكْثَرُmostaktharuٱلنَّاسِ(of) the peoplel-nāsiإِلَّاexceptillāكُفُورًۭاdisbeliefkufūran٥٠
And We have certainly distributed it among them that they might be reminded, but most of the people refuse except disbelief.
٢٥:٥١
وَلَوْAnd ifwalawشِئْنَاWe willedshi'nāلَبَعَثْنَاsurely, We (would) have raisedlabaʿathnāفِىinfīكُلِّeverykulliقَرْيَةٍۢtownqaryatinنَّذِيرًۭاa warnernadhīran٥١
And if We had willed, We could have sent into every city a warner.
٢٥:٥٢
فَلَاSo (do) notfalāتُطِعِobeytuṭiʿiٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَthe disbelieversl-kāfirīnaوَجَـٰهِدْهُمand strive (against) themwajāhid'humبِهِۦwith itbihiجِهَادًۭاa strivingjihādanكَبِيرًۭاgreatkabīran٥٢
So do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with it [i.e., the Qur’ān] a great striving.
٢٥:٥٣
۞ وَهُوَAnd Hewahuwaٱلَّذِى(is) the One Whoalladhīمَرَجَ(has) releasedmarajaٱلْبَحْرَيْنِthe two seasl-baḥrayniهَـٰذَا[this] (one)hādhāعَذْبٌۭpalatableʿadhbunفُرَاتٌۭand sweetfurātunوَهَـٰذَاand [this] (one)wahādhāمِلْحٌsaltymil'ḥunأُجَاجٌۭ(and) bitterujājunوَجَعَلَand He has madewajaʿalaبَيْنَهُمَاbetween thembaynahumāبَرْزَخًۭاa barrierbarzakhanوَحِجْرًۭاand a partitionwaḥij'ranمَّحْجُورًۭاforbiddenmaḥjūran٥٣
And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas [i.e., bodies of water], one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition.
٢٥:٥٤
وَهُوَAnd Hewahuwaٱلَّذِى(is) the One Whoalladhīخَلَقَhas createdkhalaqaمِنَfromminaٱلْمَآءِthe waterl-māiبَشَرًۭاhuman beingbasharanفَجَعَلَهُۥand has made (for) himfajaʿalahuنَسَبًۭاblood relationshipnasabanوَصِهْرًۭا ۗand marriage relationshipwaṣih'ranوَكَانَAnd iswakānaرَبُّكَyour LordrabbukaقَدِيرًۭاAll-Powerfulqadīran٥٤
And it is He who has created from water [i.e., semen] a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation].
٢٥:٥٥
وَيَعْبُدُونَBut they worshipwayaʿbudūnaمِنbesides Allahminدُونِbesides Allahdūniٱللَّهِbesides Allahl-lahiمَاwhatmāلَاnot profits themlāيَنفَعُهُمْnot profits themyanfaʿuhumوَلَاand notwalāيَضُرُّهُمْ ۗharms themyaḍurruhumوَكَانَand iswakānaٱلْكَافِرُthe disbelieverl-kāfiruعَلَىٰagainstʿalāرَبِّهِۦhis Lordrabbihiظَهِيرًۭاa helperẓahīran٥٥
But they worship rather than Allāh that which does not benefit them or harm them, and the disbeliever is ever, against his Lord, an assistant [to Satan].
٢٥:٥٦
وَمَآAnd notwamāأَرْسَلْنَـٰكَWe sent youarsalnākaإِلَّاexceptillāمُبَشِّرًۭا(as) a bearer of glad tidingsmubashiranوَنَذِيرًۭاand a warnerwanadhīran٥٦
And We have not sent you, [O Muḥammad], except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner.
٢٥:٥٧
قُلْSayqulمَآNotmāأَسْـَٔلُكُمْI ask (of) youasalukumعَلَيْهِfor itʿalayhiمِنْanyminأَجْرٍpaymentajrinإِلَّاexceptillāمَن(that) whoever willsmanشَآءَ(that) whoever willsshāaأَنtoanيَتَّخِذَtakeyattakhidhaإِلَىٰtoilāرَبِّهِۦhis Lordrabbihiسَبِيلًۭاa waysabīlan٥٧
Say, "I do not ask of you for it any payment - only that whoever wills might take to his Lord a way."
٢٥:٥٨
وَتَوَكَّلْAnd put your trustwatawakkalعَلَىinʿalāٱلْحَىِّthe Ever-Livingl-ḥayiٱلَّذِىthe One Whoalladhīلَاdoes not dielāيَمُوتُdoes not dieyamūtuوَسَبِّحْand glorifywasabbiḥبِحَمْدِهِۦ ۚwith His PraisebiḥamdihiوَكَفَىٰAnd sufficient iswakafāبِهِۦHebihiبِذُنُوبِregarding the sinsbidhunūbiعِبَادِهِۦ(of) His slavesʿibādihiخَبِيرًاAll-Awarekhabīran٥٨
And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [Allāh] with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, [fully] Aware -
٢٥:٥٩
ٱلَّذِىThe One Whoalladhīخَلَقَcreatedkhalaqaٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضَand the earthwal-arḍaوَمَاand whateverwamāبَيْنَهُمَا(is) between thembaynahumāفِىinfīسِتَّةِsixsittatiأَيَّامٍۢperiodsayyāminثُمَّthenthummaٱسْتَوَىٰHe established Himselfis'tawāعَلَىoverʿalāٱلْعَرْشِ ۚthe Throne l-ʿarshiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُthe Most Graciousl-raḥmānuفَسْـَٔلْso askfasalبِهِۦHimbihiخَبِيرًۭا(as He is) All-Awarekhabīran٥٩
He who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days and then established Himself above the Throne - the Most Merciful, so ask about Him one well informed [i.e., the Prophet (ﷺ)].
٢٥:٦٠
وَإِذَاAnd whenwa-idhāقِيلَit is saidqīlaلَهُمُto themlahumuٱسْجُدُوا۟Prostrateus'judūلِلرَّحْمَـٰنِto the Most Graciouslilrraḥmāniقَالُوا۟They sayqālūوَمَاAnd whatwamāٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ(is) the Most Graciousl-raḥmānuأَنَسْجُدُShould we prostrateanasjuduلِمَاto whatlimāتَأْمُرُنَاyou order ustamurunāوَزَادَهُمْAnd it increases themwazādahumنُفُورًۭا ۩(in) aversionnufūran٦٠
And when it is said to them, "Prostrate to the Most Merciful," they say, "And what is the Most Merciful? Should we prostrate to that which you order us?" And it increases them in aversion.
٢٥:٦١
تَبَارَكَBlessed is HetabārakaٱلَّذِىWhoalladhīجَعَلَhas placedjaʿalaفِىinfīٱلسَّمَآءِthe skiesl-samāiبُرُوجًۭاconstellationsburūjanوَجَعَلَand has placedwajaʿalaفِيهَاthereinfīhāسِرَٰجًۭاa lampsirājanوَقَمَرًۭاand a moonwaqamaranمُّنِيرًۭاshiningmunīran٦١
Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon.
٢٥:٦٢
وَهُوَAnd Hewahuwaٱلَّذِى(is) the One Whoalladhīجَعَلَmadejaʿalaٱلَّيْلَthe nightal-laylaوَٱلنَّهَارَand the daywal-nahāraخِلْفَةًۭ(in) successionkhil'fatanلِّمَنْfor whoeverlimanأَرَادَdesiresarādaأَنtoanيَذَّكَّرَrememberyadhakkaraأَوْorawأَرَادَdesiresarādaشُكُورًۭاto be thankfulshukūran٦٢
And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude.
٢٥:٦٣
وَعِبَادُAnd (the) slaveswaʿibāduٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ(of) the Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلَّذِينَ(are) those whoalladhīnaيَمْشُونَwalkyamshūnaعَلَىonʿalāٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiهَوْنًۭا(in) humblenesshawnanوَإِذَاand whenwa-idhāخَاطَبَهُمُaddress themkhāṭabahumuٱلْجَـٰهِلُونَthe ignorant onesl-jāhilūnaقَالُوا۟they sayqālūسَلَـٰمًۭاPeacesalāman٦٣
And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace,
٢٥:٦٤
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaيَبِيتُونَspend (the) nightyabītūnaلِرَبِّهِمْbefore their Lordlirabbihimسُجَّدًۭاprostratingsujjadanوَقِيَـٰمًۭاand standingwaqiyāman٦٤
And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer]
٢٥:٦٥
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaيَقُولُونَsayyaqūlūnaرَبَّنَاOur LordrabbanāٱصْرِفْAvertiṣ'rifعَنَّاfrom usʿannāعَذَابَthe punishmentʿadhābaجَهَنَّمَ ۖ(of) HelljahannamaإِنَّIndeedinnaعَذَابَهَاits punishmentʿadhābahāكَانَiskānaغَرَامًاinseparablegharāman٦٥
And those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering;
٢٥:٦٦
إِنَّهَاIndeed, itinnahāسَآءَتْ(is) an evilsāatمُسْتَقَرًّۭاabodemus'taqarranوَمُقَامًۭاand resting placewamuqāman٦٦
Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence."
٢٥:٦٧
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaإِذَآwhenidhāأَنفَقُوا۟they spendanfaqūلَمْ(are) not extravagantlamيُسْرِفُوا۟(are) not extravagantyus'rifūوَلَمْand are not stingywalamيَقْتُرُوا۟and are not stingyyaqturūوَكَانَbut arewakānaبَيْنَbetweenbaynaذَٰلِكَthat dhālikaقَوَامًۭاmoderateqawāman٦٧
And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate
٢٥:٦٨
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaلَا(do) notlāيَدْعُونَinvokeyadʿūnaمَعَwithmaʿaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiإِلَـٰهًاgodilāhanءَاخَرَanotherākharaوَلَاand (do) notwalāيَقْتُلُونَ[they] killyaqtulūnaٱلنَّفْسَthe soull-nafsaٱلَّتِىwhichallatīحَرَّمَAllah has forbiddenḥarramaٱللَّهُAllah has forbiddenl-lahuإِلَّاexceptillāبِٱلْحَقِّby rightbil-ḥaqiوَلَاand (do) notwalāيَزْنُونَ ۚcommit unlawful sexual intercourseyaznūnaوَمَنAnd whoeverwamanيَفْعَلْdoesyafʿalذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaيَلْقَwill meetyalqaأَثَامًۭاa penaltyathāman٦٨
And those who do not invoke with Allāh another deity or kill the soul which Allāh has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty.
٢٥:٦٩
يُضَـٰعَفْWill be doubledyuḍāʿafلَهُfor himlahuٱلْعَذَابُthe punishmentl-ʿadhābuيَوْمَ(on the) Dayyawmaٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ(of) Resurrectionl-qiyāmatiوَيَخْلُدْand he will abide foreverwayakhludفِيهِۦthereinfīhiمُهَانًاhumiliatedmuhānan٦٩
Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated -
٢٥:٧٠
إِلَّاExceptillāمَن(he) whomanتَابَrepentstābaوَءَامَنَand believeswaāmanaوَعَمِلَand doeswaʿamilaعَمَلًۭاrighteous deedsʿamalanصَـٰلِحًۭاrighteous deedsṣāliḥanفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthen (for) thosefa-ulāikaيُبَدِّلُAllah will replaceyubaddiluٱللَّهُAllah will replacel-lahuسَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْtheir evil deedssayyiātihimحَسَنَـٰتٍۢ ۗ(with) good onesḥasanātinوَكَانَAnd iswakānaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuغَفُورًۭاOft-ForgivingghafūranرَّحِيمًۭاMost Mercifulraḥīman٧٠
Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allāh will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allāh Forgiving and Merciful.
٢٥:٧١
وَمَنAnd whoeverwamanتَابَrepentstābaوَعَمِلَand doeswaʿamilaصَـٰلِحًۭاrighteous (deeds)ṣāliḥanفَإِنَّهُۥthen indeed, hefa-innahuيَتُوبُturnsyatūbuإِلَىtoilāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiمَتَابًۭا(with) repentancematāban٧١
And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allāh with [accepted] repentance.
٢٥:٧٢
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaلَا(do) notlāيَشْهَدُونَbear witnessyashhadūnaٱلزُّورَ(to) the falsehoodl-zūraوَإِذَاand whenwa-idhāمَرُّوا۟they passmarrūبِٱللَّغْوِby futilitybil-laghwiمَرُّوا۟they passmarrūكِرَامًۭا(as) dignified oneskirāman٧٢
And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity.
٢٥:٧٣
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaإِذَاwhenidhāذُكِّرُوا۟they are remindeddhukkirūبِـَٔايَـٰتِof (the) Versesbiāyātiرَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lordrabbihimلَمْ(do) notlamيَخِرُّوا۟fallyakhirrūعَلَيْهَاupon themʿalayhāصُمًّۭاdeafṣummanوَعُمْيَانًۭاand blindwaʿum'yānan٧٣
And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind.
٢٥:٧٤
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaيَقُولُونَsayyaqūlūnaرَبَّنَاOur LordrabbanāهَبْGranthabلَنَاto uslanāمِنْfromminأَزْوَٰجِنَاour spousesazwājināوَذُرِّيَّـٰتِنَاand our offspringwadhurriyyātināقُرَّةَcomfortqurrataأَعْيُنٍۢ(to) our eyesaʿyuninوَٱجْعَلْنَاand make uswa-ij'ʿalnāلِلْمُتَّقِينَfor the righteouslil'muttaqīnaإِمَامًاa leaderimāman٧٤
And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us a leader [i.e., example] for the righteous."
٢٥:٧٥
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَThoseulāikaيُجْزَوْنَwill be awardedyuj'zawnaٱلْغُرْفَةَthe Chamberl-ghur'fataبِمَاbecausebimāصَبَرُوا۟they were patientṣabarūوَيُلَقَّوْنَand they will be metwayulaqqawnaفِيهَاthereinfīhāتَحِيَّةًۭ(with) greetingstaḥiyyatanوَسَلَـٰمًاand peacewasalāman٧٥
Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace,
٢٥:٧٦
خَـٰلِدِينَWill abide foreverkhālidīnaفِيهَا ۚin itfīhāحَسُنَتْGoodḥasunatمُسْتَقَرًّۭا(is) the settlementmus'taqarranوَمُقَامًۭاand a resting placewamuqāman٧٦
Abiding eternally therein. Good is the settlement and residence.
٢٥:٧٧
قُلْSayqulمَاNotmāيَعْبَؤُا۟will careyaʿba-uبِكُمْfor youbikumرَبِّىmy Lordrabbīلَوْلَاif notlawlāدُعَآؤُكُمْ ۖyour prayer (is to Him)duʿāukumفَقَدْBut verilyfaqadكَذَّبْتُمْyou have deniedkadhabtumفَسَوْفَso soonfasawfaيَكُونُwill beyakūnuلِزَامًۢاthe inevitable (punishment)lizāman٧٧
Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?"1 For you [disbelievers] have denied, so it [i.e., your denial] is going to be adherent.
