بِسْمِ In (the) name bis'mi

ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ the Most Gracious l-raḥmāni
the Most Gracious
ٱلرَّحِيمِ the Most Merciful l-raḥīmi
the Most Merciful
Im Namen Allahs, des Allerbarmers, des Barmherzigen
34:1
ٱلْحَمْدُ All praises al-ḥamdu
All praises
لِلَّهِ (be) to Allah lillahi
(be) to Allah
ٱلَّذِى the One to Whom belongs alladhī
the One to Whom belongs
لَهُۥ the One to Whom belongs lahu
the One to Whom belongs
مَا whatever
whatever
فِى (is) in
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens l-samāwāti
the heavens
وَمَا and whatever wamā
and whatever
فِى (is) in
(is) in
ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth l-arḍi
the earth
وَلَهُ and for Him walahu
and for Him
ٱلْحَمْدُ (are) all praises l-ḥamdu
(are) all praises
فِى in
in
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ the Hereafter l-ākhirati
the Hereafter
وَهُوَ And He wahuwa
And He
ٱلْحَكِيمُ (is) the All-Wise l-ḥakīmu
(is) the All-Wise
ٱلْخَبِيرُ the All-Aware l-khabīru
the All-Aware

Alles) Lob gehört Allah, Dem gehört, was in den Himmeln und was auf der Erde ist, und (alles) Lob gehört Ihm im Jenseits. Er ist der Allweise und Allkundige.
34:2
يَعْلَمُ He knows yaʿlamu
He knows
مَا what

يَلِجُ penetrates yaliju

فِى in

ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth l-arḍi

وَمَا and what wamā
and what
يَخْرُجُ comes out yakhruju

يَنزِلُ descends yanzilu
descends
مِنَ from mina
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heaven l-samāi
the heaven
وَمَا and what wamā
and what
يَعْرُجُ ascends yaʿruju
ascends
فِيهَا ۚ therein fīhā
therein
وَهُوَ And He wahuwa
And He
ٱلرَّحِيمُ (is) the Most Merciful l-raḥīmu
(is) the Most Merciful
ٱلْغَفُورُ the Oft-Forgiving l-ghafūru
the Oft-Forgiving

(2)
Er weiß, was in die Erde eindringt und was aus ihr herauskommt, was vom Himmel herabkommt und was dorthin aufsteigt. Und Er ist der Barmherzige und Allvergebende.
34:3
وَقَالَ But say waqāla
But say
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna

كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve kafarū
disbelieve
لَا Not
Not
تَأْتِينَا will come to us tatīnā
will come to us
ٱلسَّاعَةُ ۖ the Hour l-sāʿatu
the Hour
قُلْ Say qul

بَلَىٰ Nay balā
Nay
وَرَبِّى by my Lord warabbī
by my Lord
لَتَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ surely it will come to you latatiyannakum
surely it will come to you
عَـٰلِمِ (He is the) Knower ʿālimi
(He is the) Knower
ٱلْغَيْبِ ۖ (of) the unseen l-ghaybi
(of) the unseen
لَا Not
Not
يَعْزُبُ escapes yaʿzubu
escapes
عَنْهُ from Him ʿanhu
from Him
مِثْقَالُ (the) weight mith'qālu
(the) weight
ذَرَّةٍۢ (of) an atom dharratin
(of) an atom
فِى in
in
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens l-samāwāti
the heavens
وَلَا and not walā
and not
فِى in
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth l-arḍi
the earth
وَلَآ and not walā
and not
أَصْغَرُ smaller aṣgharu
smaller
مِن than min
than
ذَٰلِكَ that dhālika
that
وَلَآ and not walā
and not
أَكْبَرُ greater akbaru
greater
إِلَّا but illā
but
فِى (is) in
(is) in
كِتَـٰبٍۢ a Record kitābin
a Record
مُّبِينٍۢ Clear mubīnin
Clear
٣ (3)
(3)
Diejenigen, die ungläubig sind, sagen: „Die Stunde kommt nicht über uns. Sag: Doch bei meinem Herrn - sie kommt ganz gewiß über euch -, (bei Ihm,) dem Kenner des Verborgenen! Es entgeht Ihm nicht das Gewicht eines Stäubchens, weder in den Himmeln noch auf der Erde. Und es gibt nichts, was kleiner ist als dies oder größer, das nicht in einem deutlichen Buch (verzeichnet) wäre,
34:4
لِّيَجْزِىَ That He may reward liyajziya
That He may reward
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
ءَامَنُوا۟ believe āmanū
believe
وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do waʿamilū
and do
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ ۚ righteous deeds l-ṣāliḥāti
righteous deeds
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those ulāika
Those
لَهُم for them lahum
for them
مَّغْفِرَةٌۭ (will be) forgiveness maghfiratun
(will be) forgiveness
وَرِزْقٌۭ and a provision wariz'qun
and a provision
كَرِيمٌۭ noble karīmun
noble
٤ (4)
(4)
damit Er (es) denjenigen, die glauben und rechtschaffene Werke tun, vergelte. Für diese wird es Vergebung und ehrenvolle Versorgung geben.
34:5
وَٱلَّذِينَ But those who wa-alladhīna
But those who
سَعَوْ strive saʿaw
strive
فِىٓ against
against
ءَايَـٰتِنَا Our Verses āyātinā
Our Verses
مُعَـٰجِزِينَ (to) cause failure muʿājizīna
(to) cause failure
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ those ulāika
those
لَهُمْ for them lahum
for them
عَذَابٌۭ (is) a punishment ʿadhābun
(is) a punishment
مِّن of min
of
رِّجْزٍ foul nature rij'zin
foul nature
أَلِيمٌۭ painful alīmun
painful
٥ (5)
(5)
Und diejenigen, die ständig gegen Unsere Zeichen eifern und ihnen Machtlosigkeit nachweisen wollen, für sie wird es schmerzhafte Strafe von Züchtigung geben.
34:6
وَيَرَى And see wayarā
And see
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
أُوتُوا۟ have been given ūtū
have been given
ٱلْعِلْمَ the knowledge l-ʿil'ma
the knowledge
ٱلَّذِىٓ (that) what alladhī
(that) what
أُنزِلَ is revealed unzila
is revealed
إِلَيْكَ to you ilayka
to you
مِن from min
from
رَّبِّكَ your Lord rabbika
your Lord
هُوَ [it] huwa
[it]
ٱلْحَقَّ (is) the Truth l-ḥaqa
(is) the Truth
وَيَهْدِىٓ and it guides wayahdī
and it guides
إِلَىٰ to ilā
to
صِرَٰطِ (the) Path ṣirāṭi
(the) Path
ٱلْعَزِيزِ (of) the All-Mighty l-ʿazīzi
(of) the All-Mighty
ٱلْحَمِيدِ the Praiseworthy l-ḥamīdi
the Praiseworthy
٦ (6)
(6)
Und diejenigen, denen das Wissen gegeben worden ist, sehen, (daß) das, was zu dir von deinem Herrn (als Offenbarung) herabgesandt worden ist, die Wahrheit ist und zum Weg des Allmächtigen und Lobenswürdigen führt.
34:7
وَقَالَ But say waqāla

ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna

كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve kafarū
disbelieve
هَلْ Shall hal
Shall
نَدُلُّكُمْ we direct you nadullukum
we direct you
عَلَىٰ to ʿalā
to
رَجُلٍۢ a man rajulin
a man
يُنَبِّئُكُمْ who informs you yunabbi-ukum
who informs you
إِذَا when idhā
when
مُزِّقْتُمْ you have disintegrated muzziq'tum
you have disintegrated
كُلَّ (in) total kulla
(in) total
مُمَزَّقٍ disintegration mumazzaqin
disintegration
إِنَّكُمْ indeed you innakum
indeed you
لَفِى surely (will be) in lafī
surely (will be) in
خَلْقٍۢ a creation khalqin
a creation
جَدِيدٍ new jadīdin
new
٧ (7)
(7)
Und diejenigen, die ungläubig sind, sagen: „Sollen wir euch auf einen Mann hinweisen, der euch kundtut, daß ihr, wenn ihr vollständig in Stücke gerissen worden seid, doch wirklich in neuer Schöpfung (erstehen) werdet?
34:8
أَفْتَرَىٰ Has he invented aftarā

عَلَى about ʿalā

ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi
Allah
كَذِبًا a lie kadhiban
a lie
أَم or am
or
بِهِۦ in him bihi
in him
جِنَّةٌۢ ۗ (is) madness jinnatun
(is) madness
بَلِ Nay bali
Nay
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
لَا (do) not
(do) not
يُؤْمِنُونَ believe yu'minūna
believe
بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ in the Hereafter bil-ākhirati
in the Hereafter
فِى (will be) in
(will be) in
ٱلْعَذَابِ the punishment l-ʿadhābi
the punishment
وَٱلضَّلَـٰلِ and error wal-ḍalāli
and error
ٱلْبَعِيدِ far l-baʿīdi
far
٨ (8)
(8)
Hat er gegen Allah eine Lüge ersonnen, oder leidet er an Besessenheit? Nein! Vielmehr stecken diejenigen, die an das Jenseits nicht glauben, in der Strafe und befinden sich im tiefen Irrtum.
34:9
أَفَلَمْ Then, do not afalam

أَيْدِيهِمْ (is) before them aydīhim

ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heaven l-samāi
the heaven
وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ and the earth wal-arḍi
and the earth
إِن If in
If
نَّشَأْ We will nasha
We will
نَخْسِفْ We (could) cause to swallow them nakhsif
We (could) cause to swallow them
بِهِمُ We (could) cause to swallow them bihimu
We (could) cause to swallow them
ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth l-arḍa
the earth
أَوْ or aw
or
نُسْقِطْ cause to fall nus'qiṭ
cause to fall
عَلَيْهِمْ upon them ʿalayhim
upon them
كِسَفًۭا fragments kisafan
fragments
مِّنَ from mina
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ ۚ the sky l-samāi
the sky
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
فِى in
in
ذَٰلِكَ that dhālika
that
لَـَٔايَةًۭ surely, is a Sign laāyatan
surely, is a Sign
لِّكُلِّ for every likulli
for every
عَبْدٍۢ slave ʿabdin
slave
مُّنِيبٍۢ who turns (to Allah) munībin
who turns (to Allah)
٩ (9)
(9)
Sehen sie denn nicht auf das, was vom Himmel und von der Erde vor ihnen und was hinter ihnen ist? Wenn Wir wollen, lassen Wir die Erde mit ihnen versinken oder Stücke vom Himmel auf sie herabfallen. Darin ist wahrlich ein Zeichen für jeden Diener, der sich (Allah) reuig zuwendet.
34:10
۞ وَلَقَدْ And certainly walaqad
And certainly
ءَاتَيْنَا We gave ātaynā
We gave
دَاوُۥدَ Dawood dāwūda
Dawood
مِنَّا from Us minnā
from Us
فَضْلًۭا ۖ Bounty faḍlan
Bounty
يَـٰجِبَالُ O mountains yājibālu
O mountains
أَوِّبِى Repeat praises awwibī
Repeat praises
مَعَهُۥ with him maʿahu
with him
وَٱلطَّيْرَ ۖ and the birds wal-ṭayra
and the birds
وَأَلَنَّا And We made pliable wa-alannā
And We made pliable
لَهُ for him lahu
for him
ٱلْحَدِيدَ [the] iron l-ḥadīda
[the] iron
١٠ (10)
(10)
Und Wir gaben ja Dawud eine Huld von Uns. - „Ihr Berge, preist (Allah) im Widerhall mit ihm, und auch ihr Vögel. Und Wir machten für ihn das Eisen geschmeidig:
34:11
أَنِ That ani
That
ٱعْمَلْ make iʿ'mal
make
سَـٰبِغَـٰتٍۢ full coats of mail sābighātin
full coats of mail
وَقَدِّرْ and measure precisely waqaddir
and measure precisely
فِى [of]
[of]
ٱلسَّرْدِ ۖ the links (of armor) l-sardi
the links (of armor)
وَٱعْمَلُوا۟ and work wa-iʿ'malū
and work
صَـٰلِحًا ۖ righteousness ṣāliḥan
righteousness
إِنِّى Indeed, I Am innī
Indeed, I Am
بِمَا of what bimā
of what
تَعْمَلُونَ you do taʿmalūna
you do
بَصِيرٌۭ All-Seer baṣīrun
All-Seer
١١ (11)
(11)
„Fertige Panzergewänder an und füge im richtigen Maß die Panzermaschen aneinander. Und handelt rechtschaffen, denn Ich sehe wohl, was ihr tut.
34:12
وَلِسُلَيْمَـٰنَ And to Sulaiman walisulaymāna
And to Sulaiman
ٱلرِّيحَ the wind l-rīḥa
the wind
غُدُوُّهَا its morning course ghuduwwuhā
its morning course
شَهْرٌۭ (was) a month shahrun
(was) a month
وَرَوَاحُهَا and its afternoon course warawāḥuhā
and its afternoon course
شَهْرٌۭ ۖ (was) a month shahrun
(was) a month
وَأَسَلْنَا and We caused to flow wa-asalnā
and We caused to flow
لَهُۥ for him lahu
for him
عَيْنَ a spring ʿayna
a spring
ٱلْقِطْرِ ۖ (of) molten copper l-qiṭ'ri
(of) molten copper
وَمِنَ And [of] wamina
And [of]
ٱلْجِنِّ the jinn l-jini
the jinn
مَن who man
who
يَعْمَلُ worked yaʿmalu
worked
بَيْنَ before him bayna
before him
يَدَيْهِ before him yadayhi
before him
بِإِذْنِ by the permission bi-idh'ni
by the permission
رَبِّهِۦ ۖ (of) his Lord rabbihi
(of) his Lord
وَمَن And whoever waman
And whoever
يَزِغْ deviated yazigh
deviated
مِنْهُمْ among them min'hum
among them
عَنْ from ʿan
from
أَمْرِنَا Our Command amrinā
Our Command
نُذِقْهُ We will make him taste nudhiq'hu
We will make him taste
مِنْ of min
of
عَذَابِ (the) punishment ʿadhābi
(the) punishment
ٱلسَّعِيرِ (of) the Blaze l-saʿīri
(of) the Blaze
١٢ (12)
(12)
Und Sulaiman (machten Wir) den Wind (dienstbar), dessen Morgenlauf einen Monat und dessen Abendlauf einen Monat beträgt. Und Wir ließen die Quelle des geschmolzenen Kupfers für ihn fließen. Und unter den Ginn gab es manche, die mit der Erlaubnis seines Herrn vor ihm tätig waren. Wer von ihnen von Unserem Befehl abweicht, den lassen Wir von der Strafe der Feuerglut kosten.
34:13
يَعْمَلُونَ They worked yaʿmalūna

مَّحَـٰرِيبَ elevated chambers maḥārība

وَتَمَـٰثِيلَ and statues watamāthīla

وَجِفَانٍۢ and bowls wajifānin
and bowls
كَٱلْجَوَابِ like reservoirs kal-jawābi
like reservoirs
وَقُدُورٍۢ and cooking-pots waqudūrin
and cooking-pots
رَّاسِيَـٰتٍ ۚ fixed rāsiyātin
fixed
ٱعْمَلُوٓا۟ Work iʿ'malū
Work
ءَالَ O family āla
O family
دَاوُۥدَ (of) Dawood dāwūda
(of) Dawood
شُكْرًۭا ۚ (in) gratitude shuk'ran
(in) gratitude
وَقَلِيلٌۭ But few waqalīlun
But few
مِّنْ of min
of
عِبَادِىَ My slaves ʿibādiya
My slaves
ٱلشَّكُورُ (are) grateful l-shakūru
(are) grateful
١٣ (13)
(13)
Sie machten ihm, was er wollte, an Gebetsräumen, Bildwerken, Schüsseln wie Wasserbecken und feststehenden Kesseln. - „Verrichtet, ihr Sippe Dawuds, eure Arbeit in Dankbarkeit, denn (nur) wenige von Meinen Dienern sind wirklich dankbar.
34:14
فَلَمَّا Then when falammā

دَآبَّةُ a creature dābbatu

ٱلْأَرْضِ (of) the earth l-arḍi
(of) the earth
تَأْكُلُ eating takulu
eating
مِنسَأَتَهُۥ ۖ his staff minsa-atahu
his staff
فَلَمَّا But when falammā
But when
خَرَّ he fell down kharra
he fell down
تَبَيَّنَتِ became clear tabayyanati
became clear
ٱلْجِنُّ (to) the jinn l-jinu
(to) the jinn
أَن that an
that
لَّوْ if law
if
كَانُوا۟ they had kānū
they had
يَعْلَمُونَ known yaʿlamūna
known
ٱلْغَيْبَ the unseen l-ghayba
the unseen
مَا not
not
لَبِثُوا۟ they (would have) remained labithū
they (would have) remained
فِى in
in
ٱلْعَذَابِ the punishment l-ʿadhābi
the punishment
ٱلْمُهِينِ humiliating l-muhīni
humiliating
١٤ (14)
(14)
Und als Wir für ihn den Tod bestimmt hatten, wies sie auf sein Ableben nur das Tier der Erde hin, das seinen Stab fraß. Als er dann niederstürzte, wurde den Ginn klar, daß sie, wenn sie das Verborgene gewußt, nicht (weiter) in der schmachvollen Strafe verweilt hätten.
34:15
لَقَدْ Certainly laqad

لِسَبَإٍۢ for Saba lisaba-in

مَسْكَنِهِمْ their dwelling place maskanihim
their dwelling place
ءَايَةٌۭ ۖ a sign: āyatun

جَنَّتَانِ Two gardens jannatāni
Two gardens
عَن on ʿan
on
يَمِينٍۢ (the) right yamīnin
(the) right
وَشِمَالٍۢ ۖ and (on the) left washimālin
and (on the) left
كُلُوا۟ Eat kulū
Eat
مِن from min
from
رِّزْقِ (the) provision riz'qi
(the) provision
رَبِّكُمْ (of) your Lord rabbikum
(of) your Lord
وَٱشْكُرُوا۟ and be grateful wa-ush'kurū
and be grateful
لَهُۥ ۚ to Him lahu
to Him
بَلْدَةٌۭ A land baldatun
A land
طَيِّبَةٌۭ good ṭayyibatun
good
وَرَبٌّ and a Lord warabbun
and a Lord
غَفُورٌۭ Oft-Forgiving ghafūrun
Oft-Forgiving
١٥ (15)
(15)
Die Sabäer hatten ja in ihrem Wohnort ein Zeichen: zwei Gärten zur Rechten und zur Linken. - „Eßt von der Versorgung eures Herrn und dankt Ihm. Eine gute Ortschaft (ist es) und ein Allvergebender Herr.
34:16
فَأَعْرَضُوا۟ But they turned away fa-aʿraḍū
But they turned away
فَأَرْسَلْنَا so We sent fa-arsalnā
so We sent
عَلَيْهِمْ upon them ʿalayhim
upon them
سَيْلَ (the) flood sayla
(the) flood
ٱلْعَرِمِ (of) the dam l-ʿarimi
(of) the dam
وَبَدَّلْنَـٰهُم and We changed for them wabaddalnāhum
and We changed for them
بِجَنَّتَيْهِمْ their two gardens bijannatayhim
their two gardens
جَنَّتَيْنِ (with) two gardens jannatayni
(with) two gardens
ذَوَاتَىْ producing fruit dhawātay
producing fruit
أُكُلٍ producing fruit ukulin
producing fruit
خَمْطٍۢ bitter khamṭin
bitter
وَأَثْلٍۢ and tamarisks wa-athlin
and tamarisks
وَشَىْءٍۢ and (some)thing washayin
and (some)thing
مِّن of min
of
سِدْرٍۢ lote trees sid'rin
lote trees
قَلِيلٍۢ few qalīlin
few
١٦ (16)
(16)
Aber sie wandten sich ab. Da sandten Wir gegen sie die Flut des Staudammes, und Wir tauschten ihnen ihre zwei Gärten aus gegen zwei Gärten mit bitterem Ernteertrag und Tamarisken und einigen wenigen Zizyphusbäumen.
34:17
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika
That
جَزَيْنَـٰهُم We recompensed them jazaynāhum
We recompensed them
بِمَا because bimā
because
كَفَرُوا۟ ۖ they disbelieved kafarū
they disbelieved
وَهَلْ And not wahal
And not
نُجَـٰزِىٓ We recompense nujāzī
We recompense
إِلَّا except illā
except
ٱلْكَفُورَ the ungrateful l-kafūra
the ungrateful
١٧ (17)
(17)
Das vergalten Wir ihnen, daß sie undankbar waren. Vergelten Wir denn sonst jemand anderem als dem Undankbaren?
34:18
وَجَعَلْنَا And We made wajaʿalnā
And We made
بَيْنَهُمْ between them baynahum
between them
وَبَيْنَ and between wabayna
and between
ٱلْقُرَى the towns l-qurā
the towns
ٱلَّتِى which allatī
which
بَـٰرَكْنَا We had blessed bāraknā
We had blessed
فِيهَا in it fīhā
in it
قُرًۭى towns quran
towns
ظَـٰهِرَةًۭ visible ẓāhiratan
visible
وَقَدَّرْنَا And We determined waqaddarnā
And We determined
فِيهَا between them fīhā
between them
ٱلسَّيْرَ ۖ the journey l-sayra
the journey
سِيرُوا۟ Travel sīrū
Travel
فِيهَا between them fīhā
between them
لَيَالِىَ (by) night layāliya
(by) night
وَأَيَّامًا and (by) day wa-ayyāman
and (by) day
ءَامِنِينَ safely āminīna
safely
١٨ (18)
(18)
Und Wir legten zwischen ihnen und den Städten, die Wir gesegnet haben, sichtbare Städte an. Und Wir setzten das rechte Maß der Reise zwischen ihnen fest: „Reist in ihnen - Nächte und Tage - in Sicherheit umher.
34:19
فَقَالُوا۟ But they said faqālū

رَبَّنَا Our Lord rabbanā

بَـٰعِدْ lengthen (the distance) bāʿid
lengthen (the distance)
بَيْنَ between bayna
between
أَسْفَارِنَا our journeys asfārinā
our journeys
وَظَلَمُوٓا۟ And they wronged waẓalamū
And they wronged
أَنفُسَهُمْ themselves anfusahum
themselves
فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْ so We made them fajaʿalnāhum
so We made them
أَحَادِيثَ narrations aḥādītha
narrations
وَمَزَّقْنَـٰهُمْ and We dispersed them wamazzaqnāhum
and We dispersed them
كُلَّ (in) a total kulla
(in) a total
مُمَزَّقٍ ۚ dispersion mumazzaqin
dispersion
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
فِى in
in
ذَٰلِكَ that dhālika
that
لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ surely (are) Signs laāyātin
surely (are) Signs
لِّكُلِّ for everyone likulli
for everyone
صَبَّارٍۢ patient ṣabbārin
patient
شَكُورٍۢ (and) grateful shakūrin
(and) grateful
١٩ (19)
(19)
Sie aber sagten: „Unser Herr, vergrößere die Entfernungen zwischen unseren Reise(abschnitte)n. Sie taten sich selbst Unrecht. So machten Wir sie zu(m Gegenstand von) Geschichten und rissen sie vollständig in Stücke. Darin sind wahrlich Zeichen für jeden sehr Standhaften und sehr Dankbaren.
34:20
وَلَقَدْ And certainly walaqad
And certainly
صَدَّقَ found true ṣaddaqa
found true
عَلَيْهِمْ about them ʿalayhim
about them
إِبْلِيسُ Iblis ib'līsu
Iblis
ظَنَّهُۥ his assumption ẓannahu
his assumption
فَٱتَّبَعُوهُ so they followed him fa-ittabaʿūhu
so they followed him
إِلَّا except illā
except
فَرِيقًۭا a group farīqan
a group
مِّنَ of mina
of
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers l-mu'minīna
the believers
٢٠ (20)
(20)
Wahrlich, Iblis fand seine Meinung von ihnen bestätigt. Sie folgten ihm, außer einer Gruppe der Gläubigen.
34:21
وَمَا And not wamā
And not
كَانَ was kāna
was
لَهُۥ for him lahu
for him
عَلَيْهِم over them ʿalayhim
over them
مِّن any min
any
سُلْطَـٰنٍ authority sul'ṭānin
authority
إِلَّا except illā
except
لِنَعْلَمَ that We (might) make evident linaʿlama
that We (might) make evident
مَن who man
who
يُؤْمِنُ believes yu'minu
believes
بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ in the Hereafter bil-ākhirati
in the Hereafter
مِمَّنْ from (one) who mimman
from (one) who
هُوَ [he] huwa
[he]
مِنْهَا about it min'hā
about it
فِى (is) in
(is) in
شَكٍّۢ ۗ doubt shakkin
doubt
وَرَبُّكَ And your Lord warabbuka
And your Lord
عَلَىٰ over ʿalā
over
كُلِّ all kulli
all
شَىْءٍ things shayin
things
حَفِيظٌۭ (is) a Guardian ḥafīẓun
(is) a Guardian
٢١ (21)
(21)
Doch hatte er keine Macht über sie; (es geschah) nur, damit Wir in Erfahrung bringen, wer an das Jenseits glaubt, und (ihn unterscheiden) von demjenigen, der darüber im Zweifel ist. Dein Herr ist Hüter über alles.
34:22
قُلِ Say quli
Say
ٱدْعُوا۟ Call upon id'ʿū
Call upon
ٱلَّذِينَ those whom alladhīna
those whom
زَعَمْتُم you claim zaʿamtum
you claim
مِّن besides min
besides
دُونِ besides dūni
besides
ٱللَّهِ ۖ Allah l-lahi
Allah
لَا Not
Not
يَمْلِكُونَ they possess yamlikūna
they possess
مِثْقَالَ (the) weight mith'qāla
(the) weight
ذَرَّةٍۢ (of) an atom dharratin
(of) an atom
فِى in
in
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens l-samāwāti
the heavens
وَلَا and not walā
and not
فِى in
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth l-arḍi
the earth
وَمَا and not wamā
and not
لَهُمْ for them lahum
for them
فِيهِمَا in both of them fīhimā
in both of them
مِن any min
any
شِرْكٍۢ partnership shir'kin
partnership
وَمَا and not wamā
and not
لَهُۥ for Him lahu
for Him
مِنْهُم from them min'hum
from them
مِّن any min
any
ظَهِيرٍۢ supporter ẓahīrin
supporter
٢٢ (22)
(22)
Sag: Ruft diejenigen an, die ihr anstatt Allahs angebt. Sie verfügen nicht (einmal) über das Gewicht eines Stäubchens weder in den Himmeln noch auf der Erde. Und sie haben an ihnen beiden keinen Anteil, noch nahm Er sich unter ihnen jemanden, der Ihm Beistand leisten sollte.
34:23
وَلَا And not walā

ٱلشَّفَـٰعَةُ the intercession l-shafāʿatu
the intercession
عِندَهُۥٓ with Him ʿindahu
with Him
إِلَّا except illā
except
لِمَنْ for (one) whom liman
for (one) whom
أَذِنَ He permits adhina
He permits
لَهُۥ ۚ for him lahu
for him
حَتَّىٰٓ Until ḥattā
Until
إِذَا when idhā
when
فُزِّعَ fear is removed fuzziʿa
fear is removed
عَن on ʿan
on
قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts qulūbihim
their hearts
قَالُوا۟ they will say qālū
they will say
مَاذَا What is that mādhā
What is that
قَالَ your Lord has said qāla
your Lord has said
رَبُّكُمْ ۖ your Lord has said rabbukum
your Lord has said
قَالُوا۟ They will say qālū
They will say
ٱلْحَقَّ ۖ The truth l-ḥaqa
The truth
وَهُوَ And He wahuwa
And He
ٱلْعَلِىُّ (is) the Most High l-ʿaliyu
(is) the Most High
ٱلْكَبِيرُ the Most Great l-kabīru
the Most Great
٢٣ (23)
(23)
Auch nützt bei Ihm die Fürsprache nicht - außer, wem Er es erlaubt. Wenn dann der Schrecken von ihren Herzen genommen ist, sagen sie: „Was hat euer Herr gesagt? Sie sagen: „Die Wahrheit, und Er ist der Erhabene, der Große.
34:24
۞ قُلْ Say qul

يَرْزُقُكُم provides (for) you yarzuqukum

مِّنَ from mina

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens l-samāwāti
the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ and the earth wal-arḍi
and the earth
قُلِ Say quli
Say
ٱللَّهُ ۖ Allah l-lahu
Allah
وَإِنَّآ And indeed, we wa-innā
And indeed, we
أَوْ or aw
or
إِيَّاكُمْ you iyyākum
you
لَعَلَىٰ (are) surely upon laʿalā
(are) surely upon
هُدًى guidance hudan
guidance
أَوْ or aw
or
فِى in
in
ضَلَـٰلٍۢ error ḍalālin
error
مُّبِينٍۢ clear mubīnin
clear
٢٤ (24)
(24)
Sag: Wer versorgt euch von den Himmeln und der Erde? Sag: Allah. Fürwahr, entweder wir oder ihr (die einen von uns) befinden sich in Rechtleitung oder in deutlichem Irrtum.
34:25
قُل Say qul

تُسْـَٔلُونَ you will be asked tus'alūna
you will be asked
عَمَّآ about what ʿammā
about what
أَجْرَمْنَا sins we committed ajramnā
sins we committed
وَلَا and not walā
and not
نُسْـَٔلُ we will be asked nus'alu
we will be asked
عَمَّا about what ʿammā
about what
تَعْمَلُونَ you do taʿmalūna
you do
٢٥ (25)
(25)
Sag: Ihr werdet nicht danach befragt werden, was wir an Übeltaten begangen haben, noch werden wir danach befragt werden, was ihr tut.
34:26
قُلْ Say qul
Say
يَجْمَعُ Will gather yajmaʿu
Will gather
بَيْنَنَا us together baynanā
us together
رَبُّنَا our Lord rabbunā
our Lord
ثُمَّ then thumma
then
يَفْتَحُ He will judge yaftaḥu
He will judge
بَيْنَنَا between us baynanā
between us
بِٱلْحَقِّ in truth bil-ḥaqi
in truth
وَهُوَ And He wahuwa
And He
ٱلْفَتَّاحُ (is) the Judge l-fatāḥu
(is) the Judge
ٱلْعَلِيمُ the All-Knowing l-ʿalīmu
the All-Knowing
٢٦ (26)
(26)
Sag: Zusammenbringen wird uns unser Herr, hierauf wird Er zwischen uns der Wahrheit entsprechend entscheiden. Er ist der wahrhaft gerechte Entscheider, der Allwissende.
34:27
قُلْ Say qul
Say
أَرُونِىَ Show me arūniya
Show me
ٱلَّذِينَ those whom alladhīna
those whom
أَلْحَقْتُم you have joined alḥaqtum
you have joined
بِهِۦ with Him bihi
with Him
شُرَكَآءَ ۖ (as) partners shurakāa
(as) partners
كَلَّا ۚ By no means kallā
By no means
بَلْ Nay bal
Nay
هُوَ He huwa
He
ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah l-lahu
(is) Allah
ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty l-ʿazīzu
the All-Mighty
ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise l-ḥakīmu
the All-Wise
٢٧ (27)
(27)
Sag: Zeigt mir diejenigen, die ihr Ihm als Teilhaber beigegeben habt. Keineswegs! Vielmehr ist Er Allah, der Allmächtige und Allweise.
34:28
وَمَآ And not wamā
And not
أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ We have sent you arsalnāka
We have sent you
إِلَّا except illā
except
كَآفَّةًۭ comprehensively kāffatan
comprehensively
لِّلنَّاسِ to mankind lilnnāsi
to mankind
بَشِيرًۭا (as) a giver of glad tidings bashīran
(as) a giver of glad tidings
وَنَذِيرًۭا and (as) a warner wanadhīran
and (as) a warner
وَلَـٰكِنَّ But walākinna
But
أَكْثَرَ most akthara
most
ٱلنَّاسِ [the] people l-nāsi
[the] people
لَا (do) not
(do) not
يَعْلَمُونَ know yaʿlamūna
know
٢٨ (28)
(28)
Und Wir haben dich für die Menschen allesamt nur als Frohboten und Warner gesandt. Aber die meisten Menschen wissen nicht.
34:29
وَيَقُولُونَ And they say wayaqūlūna
And they say
مَتَىٰ When matā
When
هَـٰذَا (is) this hādhā
(is) this
ٱلْوَعْدُ promise l-waʿdu
promise
إِن if in
if
كُنتُمْ you are kuntum
you are
صَـٰدِقِينَ truthful ṣādiqīna
truthful
٢٩ (29)
(29)
Und sie sagen: „Wann wird dieses Versprechen eintreten, wenn ihr wahrhaftig seid?
34:30
قُل Say qul
Say
لَّكُم For you lakum
For you
مِّيعَادُ (is the) appointment mīʿādu
(is the) appointment
يَوْمٍۢ (of) a Day yawmin
(of) a Day
لَّا not
not
تَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ you can postpone tastakhirūna
you can postpone
عَنْهُ [of] it ʿanhu
[of] it
سَاعَةًۭ (for) an hour sāʿatan
(for) an hour
وَلَا and not walā
and not
تَسْتَقْدِمُونَ (can) you precede (it) tastaqdimūna
(can) you precede (it)
٣٠ (30)
(30)
Sag: Für euch ist eine Verabredung auf einen Tag (festgelegt), von dem ihr (euer Schicksal) weder um eine Stunde hinausschieben noch vorverlegen könnt.
34:31
وَقَالَ And say waqāla
And say
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve kafarū
disbelieve
لَن Never will lan
Never will
نُّؤْمِنَ we believe nu'mina
we believe
بِهَـٰذَا in this bihādhā
in this
ٱلْقُرْءَانِ Quran l-qur'āni
Quran
وَلَا and not walā
and not
بِٱلَّذِى in (that) which bi-alladhī
in (that) which
بَيْنَ (was) before it bayna
(was) before it
يَدَيْهِ ۗ (was) before it yadayhi
(was) before it
وَلَوْ But if walaw
But if
تَرَىٰٓ you (could) see tarā
you (could) see
إِذِ when idhi
when
ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ the wrongdoers l-ẓālimūna
the wrongdoers
مَوْقُوفُونَ will be made to stand mawqūfūna
will be made to stand
عِندَ before ʿinda
before
رَبِّهِمْ their Lord rabbihim
their Lord
يَرْجِعُ will throw back yarjiʿu
will throw back
بَعْضُهُمْ some of them baʿḍuhum
some of them
إِلَىٰ to ilā
to
بَعْضٍ others baʿḍin
others
ٱلْقَوْلَ the word l-qawla
the word
يَقُولُ Will say yaqūlu
Will say
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟ were oppressed us'tuḍ'ʿifū
were oppressed
لِلَّذِينَ to those who lilladhīna
to those who
ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ were arrogant is'takbarū
were arrogant
لَوْلَآ If not lawlā
If not
أَنتُمْ (for) you antum
(for) you
لَكُنَّا certainly we (would) have been lakunnā
certainly we (would) have been
مُؤْمِنِينَ believers mu'minīna
believers
٣١ (31)
(31)
Und diejenigen, die ungläubig sind, sagen: „Wir werden nicht an diesen Qur’an glauben und auch nicht an das, was (an Offenbarungen) vor ihm da war. Könntest du nur sehen, wenn die Ungerechten vor ihren Herrn gestellt werden und untereinander die Worte wechseln! Diejenigen, die unterdrückt wurden, sagen zu denjenigen, die sich hochmütig verhielten: „Wenn ihr nicht gewesen wäret, so wären wir wahrlich gläubig gewesen.
34:32
قَالَ Will say qāla
Will say
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ were arrogant is'takbarū
were arrogant
لِلَّذِينَ to those lilladhīna
to those
ٱسْتُضْعِفُوٓا۟ who were oppressed us'tuḍ'ʿifū
who were oppressed
أَنَحْنُ Did we anaḥnu
Did we
صَدَدْنَـٰكُمْ avert you ṣadadnākum
avert you
عَنِ from ʿani
from
ٱلْهُدَىٰ the guidance l-hudā
the guidance
بَعْدَ after baʿda
after
إِذْ when idh
when
جَآءَكُم ۖ it had come to you jāakum
it had come to you
بَلْ Nay bal
Nay
كُنتُم you were kuntum
you were
مُّجْرِمِينَ criminals muj'rimīna
criminals
٣٢ (32)
(32)
Diejenigen, die sich hochmütig verhielten, sagen zu denjenigen, die unterdrückt wurden: „Sind wir es gewesen, die euch von der Rechtleitung abgehalten haben, nachdem sie zu euch gekommen war? Nein! Vielmehr wart ihr Übeltäter.
34:33
وَقَالَ And will say waqāla
And will say
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟ were oppressed us'tuḍ'ʿifū
were oppressed
لِلَّذِينَ to those who lilladhīna
to those who
ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ were arrogant is'takbarū
were arrogant
بَلْ Nay bal
Nay
مَكْرُ (it was) a plot makru
(it was) a plot
ٱلَّيْلِ (by) night al-layli
(by) night
وَٱلنَّهَارِ and (by) day wal-nahāri
and (by) day
إِذْ when idh
when
تَأْمُرُونَنَآ you were ordering us tamurūnanā
you were ordering us
أَن that an
that
نَّكْفُرَ we disbelieve nakfura
we disbelieve
بِٱللَّهِ in Allah bil-lahi
in Allah
وَنَجْعَلَ and we set up wanajʿala
and we set up
لَهُۥٓ for Him lahu
for Him
أَندَادًۭا ۚ equals andādan
equals
وَأَسَرُّوا۟ But they will conceal wa-asarrū
But they will conceal
ٱلنَّدَامَةَ the regret l-nadāmata
the regret
لَمَّا when lammā
when
رَأَوُا۟ they see ra-awū
they see
ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment l-ʿadhāba
the punishment
وَجَعَلْنَا And We will put wajaʿalnā
And We will put
ٱلْأَغْلَـٰلَ shackles l-aghlāla
shackles
فِىٓ on
on
أَعْنَاقِ (the) necks aʿnāqi
(the) necks
ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who alladhīna
(of) those who
كَفَرُوا۟ ۚ disbelieved kafarū
disbelieved
هَلْ Will hal
Will
يُجْزَوْنَ they be recompensed yuj'zawna
they be recompensed
إِلَّا except illā
except
مَا (for) what
(for) what
كَانُوا۟ they used to kānū
they used to
يَعْمَلُونَ do yaʿmalūna
do
٣٣ (33)
(33)
Und diejenigen, die unterdrückt wurden, sagen zu denjenigen, die sich hochmütig verhielten: „Nein! Vielmehr waren es (eure) Ränke bei Nacht und bei Tag, da ihr uns befohlen hattet, Allah zu verleugnen und Ihm andere als Seinesgleichen zur Seite zu stellen. Und sie werden insgeheim Reue hegen, wenn sie die Strafe sehen. Und Wir werden die Fesseln um die Hälse derjenigen legen, die ungläubig waren. Wird ihnen (denn) etwas anderes vergolten als das, was sie zu tun pflegten?
34:34
وَمَآ And not wamā
And not
أَرْسَلْنَا We sent arsalnā
We sent
فِى to

قَرْيَةٍۢ a town qaryatin
a town
مِّن any min
any
نَّذِيرٍ warner nadhīrin
warner
إِلَّا but illā
but
قَالَ said qāla
said
مُتْرَفُوهَآ its wealthy ones mut'rafūhā
its wealthy ones
إِنَّا Indeed we innā
Indeed we
بِمَآ in what bimā
in what
أُرْسِلْتُم you have been sent ur'sil'tum
you have been sent
بِهِۦ with bihi
with
كَـٰفِرُونَ (are) disbelievers kāfirūna
(are) disbelievers
٣٤ (34)
(34)
Wir haben in keine Stadt einen Warner gesandt, ohne daß diejenigen, die in ihr üppig lebten, gesagt hätten: „Gewiß, das, womit ihr gesandt seid, verleugnen wir.
34:35
وَقَالُوا۟ And they say waqālū
And they say
نَحْنُ We naḥnu
We
أَكْثَرُ (have) more aktharu
(have) more
أَمْوَٰلًۭا wealth amwālan
wealth
وَأَوْلَـٰدًۭا and children wa-awlādan
and children
وَمَا and not wamā
and not
نَحْنُ we naḥnu
we
بِمُعَذَّبِينَ will be punished bimuʿadhabīna
will be punished
٣٥ (35)
(35)
Und sie sagen: „Wir haben mehr Besitz und Kinder, und wir werden nicht gestraft werden.
34:36
قُلْ Say qul
Say
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
رَبِّى my Lord rabbī
my Lord
يَبْسُطُ extends yabsuṭu
extends
ٱلرِّزْقَ the provision l-riz'qa
the provision
لِمَن for whom liman
for whom
يَشَآءُ He wills yashāu
He wills
وَيَقْدِرُ and restricts wayaqdiru
and restricts
وَلَـٰكِنَّ but walākinna
but
أَكْثَرَ most akthara
most
ٱلنَّاسِ [the] people l-nāsi
[the] people
لَا (do) not
(do) not
يَعْلَمُونَ know yaʿlamūna
know
٣٦ (36)
(36)
Sag: Gewiß, mein Herr gewährt die Versorgung großzügig, wem Er will, und bemißt auch. Aber die meisten Menschen wissen nicht.
34:37
وَمَآ And not wamā
And not
أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ your wealth amwālukum
your wealth
وَلَآ and not walā
and not
أَوْلَـٰدُكُم your children awlādukum
your children
بِٱلَّتِى [that] bi-allatī
[that]
تُقَرِّبُكُمْ will bring you close tuqarribukum
will bring you close
عِندَنَا to Us ʿindanā
to Us
زُلْفَىٰٓ (in) position zul'fā
(in) position
إِلَّا but illā
but
مَنْ whoever man
whoever
ءَامَنَ believes āmana
believes
وَعَمِلَ and does waʿamila
and does
صَـٰلِحًۭا righteousness ṣāliḥan
righteousness
فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ then those fa-ulāika
then those
لَهُمْ for them lahum
for them
جَزَآءُ (will be) reward jazāu
(will be) reward
ٱلضِّعْفِ two-fold l-ḍiʿ'fi
two-fold
بِمَا for what bimā
for what
عَمِلُوا۟ they did ʿamilū
they did
وَهُمْ and they wahum
and they
فِى (will be) in
(will be) in
ٱلْغُرُفَـٰتِ the high dwellings l-ghurufāti
the high dwellings
ءَامِنُونَ secure āminūna
secure
٣٧ (37)
(37)
Nicht euer Besitz ist es, und auch nicht eure Kinder sind es, die euch Zutritt in Unsere Nähe verschaffen, außer jemandem, der glaubt und rechtschaffen handelt. Diese erhalten mehrfachen Lohn für das, was sie getan haben, und sie werden in den Obergemächern in Sicherheit sein.
34:38
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who wa-alladhīna
And those who
يَسْعَوْنَ strive yasʿawna
strive
فِىٓ against
against
ءَايَـٰتِنَا Our Verses āyātinā
Our Verses
مُعَـٰجِزِينَ (to) cause failure muʿājizīna
(to) cause failure
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ those ulāika
those
فِى into
into
ٱلْعَذَابِ the punishment l-ʿadhābi
the punishment
مُحْضَرُونَ (will be) brought muḥ'ḍarūna
(will be) brought
٣٨ (38)
(38)
Diejenigen aber, die ständig gegen Unsere Zeichen eifern und ihnen Machtlosigkeit nachweisen wollen, sie werden zur Strafe vorgeführt werden.
34:39
قُلْ Say qul
Say
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
رَبِّى my Lord rabbī
my Lord
يَبْسُطُ extends yabsuṭu
extends
ٱلرِّزْقَ the provision l-riz'qa
the provision
لِمَن for whom liman
for whom
يَشَآءُ He wills yashāu
He wills
مِنْ of min
of
عِبَادِهِۦ His slaves ʿibādihi
His slaves
وَيَقْدِرُ and restricts wayaqdiru
and restricts
لَهُۥ ۚ for him lahu
for him
وَمَآ But what wamā
But what
أَنفَقْتُم you spend anfaqtum
you spend
مِّن of min
of
شَىْءٍۢ anything shayin
anything
فَهُوَ then He fahuwa
then He
يُخْلِفُهُۥ ۖ will compensate it yukh'lifuhu
will compensate it
وَهُوَ and He wahuwa
and He
خَيْرُ (is the) Best khayru
(is the) Best
ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ (of) the Providers l-rāziqīna
(of) the Providers
٣٩ (39)
(39)
Sag: Gewiß, mein Herr gewährt die Versorgung großzügig, wem von Seinen Dienern Er will, und bemißt auch. Und was immer ihr auch ausgebt, so wird Er es euch ersetzen, und Er ist der Beste der Versorger.
34:40
وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day wayawma
And (the) Day
يَحْشُرُهُمْ He will gather them yaḥshuruhum
He will gather them
جَمِيعًۭا all jamīʿan
all
ثُمَّ then thumma
then
يَقُولُ He will say yaqūlu
He will say
لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ to the Angels lil'malāikati
to the Angels
أَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ Were these you ahāulāi
Were these you
إِيَّاكُمْ Were these you iyyākum
Were these you
كَانُوا۟ they were kānū
they were
يَعْبُدُونَ worshipping yaʿbudūna
worshipping
٤٠ (40)
(40)
Und am Tag, da Er sie alle versammelt, hierauf Er zu den Engeln sagen wird: „Diese da, pflegten sie euch zu dienen?,
34:41
قَالُوا۟ They will say qālū

سُبْحَـٰنَكَ Glory be to You sub'ḥānaka

أَنتَ You anta
You
وَلِيُّنَا (are) our Protector waliyyunā
(are) our Protector
مِن not them min

دُونِهِم ۖ not them dūnihim

بَلْ Nay bal
Nay
كَانُوا۟ they used kānū
they used
يَعْبُدُونَ (to) worship yaʿbudūna
(to) worship
ٱلْجِنَّ ۖ the jinn l-jina
the jinn
أَكْثَرُهُم most of them aktharuhum
most of them
بِهِم in them bihim
in them
مُّؤْمِنُونَ (were) believers mu'minūna
(were) believers
٤١ (41)
(41)
werden sie sagen:„Preis sei Dir! Du bist unser Schutzherr, nicht sie. Nein! Vielmehr dienten sie den Ginn; die meisten von ihnen glauben an sie.
34:42
فَٱلْيَوْمَ But today fal-yawma
But today
لَا not

يَمْلِكُ possess power yamliku
possess power
بَعْضُكُمْ some of you baʿḍukum
some of you
لِبَعْضٍۢ on others libaʿḍin
on others
نَّفْعًۭا to benefit nafʿan
to benefit
وَلَا and not walā
and not
ضَرًّۭا to harm ḍarran
to harm
وَنَقُولُ and We will say wanaqūlu
and We will say
لِلَّذِينَ to those lilladhīna
to those
ظَلَمُوا۟ who wronged ẓalamū
who wronged
ذُوقُوا۟ Taste dhūqū
Taste
عَذَابَ (the) punishment ʿadhāba
(the) punishment
ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire l-nāri
(of) the Fire
ٱلَّتِى which allatī
which
كُنتُم you used kuntum
you used
بِهَا to [it] bihā
to [it]
تُكَذِّبُونَ deny tukadhibūna
deny
٤٢ (42)
(42)
„Heute vermögt ihr einer dem anderen weder Nutzen noch Schaden zu bringen. Und Wir sagen zu denjenigen, die Unrecht getan haben: „Kostet die Strafe des (Höllen)feuers, das ihr für Lüge zu erklären pflegtet.
34:43
وَإِذَا And when wa-idhā
And when
تُتْلَىٰ are recited tut'lā

عَلَيْهِمْ to them ʿalayhim
to them
ءَايَـٰتُنَا Our Verses āyātunā
Our Verses
بَيِّنَـٰتٍۢ clear bayyinātin

قَالُوا۟ they say qālū
they say
مَا Not

هَـٰذَآ (is) this hādhā
(is) this
إِلَّا but illā
but
رَجُلٌۭ a man rajulun
a man
يُرِيدُ who wishes yurīdu
who wishes
أَن to an

يَصُدَّكُمْ hinder you yaṣuddakum
hinder you
عَمَّا from what ʿammā
from what
كَانَ used kāna
used
يَعْبُدُ (to) worship yaʿbudu
(to) worship
ءَابَآؤُكُمْ your forefathers ābāukum
your forefathers
وَقَالُوا۟ And they say waqālū
And they say
مَا Not
Not
هَـٰذَآ (is) this hādhā
(is) this
إِلَّآ except illā
except
إِفْكٌۭ a lie if'kun
a lie
مُّفْتَرًۭى ۚ invented muf'taran
invented
وَقَالَ And said waqāla
And said
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved kafarū
disbelieved
لِلْحَقِّ about the truth lil'ḥaqqi
about the truth
لَمَّا when lammā
when
جَآءَهُمْ it came to them jāahum
it came to them
إِنْ Not in
Not
هَـٰذَآ (is) this hādhā
(is) this
إِلَّا except illā
except
سِحْرٌۭ a magic siḥ'run
a magic
مُّبِينٌۭ obvious mubīnun
obvious
٤٣ (43)
(43)
Und wenn ihnen Unsere Zeichen als klare Beweise verlesen werden, sagen sie: „Dieser ist nur ein Mann, der euch von dem abhalten will, dem eure Väter dienten. Und sie sagen: „Das ist nur eine ersonnene ungeheuerliche Lüge. Und diejenigen, die ungläubig sind, sagen von der Wahrheit, nachdem sie zu ihnen gekommen ist: „Das ist nur deutliche Zauberei.
34:44
وَمَآ And not wamā
And not
ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُم We (had) given them ātaynāhum
We (had) given them
مِّن any min
any
كُتُبٍۢ Scriptures kutubin
Scriptures
يَدْرُسُونَهَا ۖ which they could study yadrusūnahā
which they could study
وَمَآ and not wamā
and not
أَرْسَلْنَآ We sent arsalnā
We sent
إِلَيْهِمْ to them ilayhim
to them
قَبْلَكَ before you qablaka
before you
مِن any min
any
نَّذِيرٍۢ warner nadhīrin
warner
٤٤ (44)
(44)
Und wir haben ihnen weder Schriften gegeben, die sie (hätten) eingehend lesen (können), noch haben Wir vor dir einen Warner zu ihnen gesandt.
34:45
وَكَذَّبَ And denied wakadhaba
And denied
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
مِن (were) before them min
(were) before them
قَبْلِهِمْ (were) before them qablihim
(were) before them
وَمَا and not wamā
and not
بَلَغُوا۟ they have attained balaghū
they have attained
مِعْشَارَ a tenth miʿ'shāra
a tenth
مَآ (of) what
(of) what
ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ We (had) given them ātaynāhum
We (had) given them
فَكَذَّبُوا۟ But they denied fakadhabū
But they denied
رُسُلِى ۖ My Messengers rusulī
My Messengers
فَكَيْفَ so how fakayfa
so how
كَانَ was kāna
was
نَكِيرِ My rejection nakīri
My rejection
٤٥ (45)
(45)
Für Lüge erklärt haben (es auch) diejenigen, die vor ihnen waren, wobei diese nicht einmal das Zehntel dessen erreichten, was Wir jenen gegeben hatten. Sie bezichtigten Meine Gesandten der Lüge. Wie war da Meine Mißbilligung!
34:46
۞ قُلْ Say qul
Say
إِنَّمَآ Only innamā
Only
أَعِظُكُم I advise you aʿiẓukum
I advise you
بِوَٰحِدَةٍ ۖ for one (thing) biwāḥidatin
for one (thing)
أَن that an
that
تَقُومُوا۟ you stand taqūmū
you stand
لِلَّهِ for Allah lillahi
for Allah
مَثْنَىٰ (in) pairs mathnā
(in) pairs
وَفُرَٰدَىٰ and (as) individuals wafurādā
and (as) individuals
ثُمَّ then thumma
then
تَتَفَكَّرُوا۟ ۚ reflect tatafakkarū
reflect
مَا Not
Not
بِصَاحِبِكُم (is in) your companion biṣāḥibikum
(is in) your companion
مِّن any min
any
جِنَّةٍ ۚ madness jinnatin
madness
إِنْ Not in
Not
هُوَ he huwa
he
إِلَّا (is) except illā
(is) except
نَذِيرٌۭ a warner nadhīrun
a warner
لَّكُم for you lakum
for you
بَيْنَ before bayna
before
يَدَىْ before yaday
before
عَذَابٍۢ a punishment ʿadhābin
a punishment
شَدِيدٍۢ severe shadīdin
severe
٤٦ (46)
(46)
Sag: Ich ermahne euch nur zu einem: daß ihr euch zu zweit und einzeln um Allahs willen hinstellt und hierauf nachdenkt. Euer Gefährte leidet nicht an Besessenheit. Er ist euch nur ein Warner vor einer (bevorstehenden) strengen Strafe.
34:47

فَهُوَ but it (is) fahuwa

عَلَى from ʿalā

ٱللَّهِ ۖ Allah l-lahi

وَهُوَ And He wahuwa

عَلَىٰ (is) over ʿalā
(is) over
كُلِّ all kulli
all
شَىْءٍۢ things shayin
things
شَهِيدٌۭ a Witness shahīdun
a Witness
٤٧ (47)
(47)
Sag: Was auch immer an Lohn ich von euch hätte verlangen können, das gehört euch. Mein Lohn obliegt nur Allah. Und Er ist über alles Zeuge.
34:48
قُلْ Say qul

رَبِّى my Lord rabbī

يَقْذِفُ projects yaqdhifu
projects
بِٱلْحَقِّ the truth bil-ḥaqi
the truth
عَلَّـٰمُ (the) All-Knower ʿallāmu
(the) All-Knower
ٱلْغُيُوبِ (of) the unseen l-ghuyūbi
(of) the unseen
٤٨ (48)
(48)
Sag: Mein Herr kommt mit der Wahrheit, (Er,) der Allwisser der verborgenen Dinge.
34:49
قُلْ Say qul

جَآءَ Has come jāa
Has come
ٱلْحَقُّ the truth l-ḥaqu
the truth
وَمَا and not wamā
and not
يُبْدِئُ (can) originate yub'di-u
(can) originate
ٱلْبَـٰطِلُ the falsehood l-bāṭilu
the falsehood
وَمَا and not wamā
and not
يُعِيدُ repeat yuʿīdu
repeat
٤٩ (49)
(49)
Sag: Die Wahrheit ist gekommen. Das Falsche kann weder (etwas) neu von Anfang an machen noch es wiederholen.
34:50
قُلْ Say qul

إِن If in

ضَلَلْتُ I err ḍalaltu

فَإِنَّمَآ then only fa-innamā
then only
أَضِلُّ I will err aḍillu
I will err
عَلَىٰ against ʿalā

نَفْسِى ۖ myself nafsī

وَإِنِ But if wa-ini
But if
ٱهْتَدَيْتُ I am guided ih'tadaytu
I am guided
فَبِمَا then it is by what fabimā
then it is by what
يُوحِىٓ reveals yūḥī
reveals
إِلَىَّ to me ilayya
to me
رَبِّىٓ ۚ my Lord rabbī
my Lord
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He innahu
Indeed, He
سَمِيعٌۭ (is) All-Hearer samīʿun
(is) All-Hearer
قَرِيبٌۭ Ever-Near qarībun
Ever-Near
٥٠ (50)
(50)
Sag: Wenn ich irregehe, gehe ich nur zu meinem eigenen Nachteil irre, und wenn ich rechtgeleitet bin, so ist es durch das, was mir mein Herr (als Offenbarung) eingibt. Gewiß, Er ist Allhörend und nahe.
34:51
وَلَوْ And if walaw
And if
تَرَىٰٓ you (could) see tarā
you (could) see
إِذْ when idh
when
فَزِعُوا۟ they will be terrified faziʿū
they will be terrified
فَلَا but (there will be) no falā
but (there will be) no
فَوْتَ escape fawta
escape
وَأُخِذُوا۟ and they will be seized wa-ukhidhū
and they will be seized
مِن from min
from
مَّكَانٍۢ a place makānin
a place
قَرِيبٍۢ near qarībin
near
٥١ (51)
(51)
Könntest du nur sehen, wenn sie erschrecken! - Da gibt es kein Entrinnen -, und sie werden von einem nahen Ort aus weggenommen.
34:52
وَقَالُوٓا۟ And they will say waqālū
And they will say
ءَامَنَّا We believe āmannā
We believe
بِهِۦ in it bihi
in it
وَأَنَّىٰ But how wa-annā
But how
لَهُمُ for them lahumu
for them
ٱلتَّنَاوُشُ (will be) the receiving l-tanāwushu
(will be) the receiving
مِن from min
from
مَّكَانٍۭ a place makānin
a place
بَعِيدٍۢ far off baʿīdin
far off
٥٢ (52)

Und sie sagen: „Wir glauben daran. Aber wie könnten sie (den Glauben) von einem fernen Ort aus erlangen,
34:53
وَقَدْ And certainly waqad
And certainly
كَفَرُوا۟ they disbelieved kafarū
they disbelieved
بِهِۦ in it bihi
in it
مِن before min
before
قَبْلُ ۖ before qablu
before
وَيَقْذِفُونَ And they utter conjectures wayaqdhifūna
And they utter conjectures
بِٱلْغَيْبِ about the unseen bil-ghaybi
about the unseen
مِن from min
from
مَّكَانٍۭ a place makānin
a place
بَعِيدٍۢ far off baʿīdin
far off
٥٣ (53)
(53)
wo sie ihn doch zuvor verleugnet haben? Und sie schleudern (Vermutungen) auf das Verborgene von einem fernen Ort aus.
34:54
وَحِيلَ And a barrier will be placed waḥīla
And a barrier will be placed
بَيْنَهُمْ between them baynahum
between them
وَبَيْنَ and between wabayna
and between
مَا what
what
يَشْتَهُونَ they desire yashtahūna
they desire
كَمَا as kamā
as
فُعِلَ was done fuʿila
was done
بِأَشْيَاعِهِم with their kind bi-ashyāʿihim
with their kind
مِّن before min
before
قَبْلُ ۚ before qablu
before
إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they innahum
Indeed, they
كَانُوا۟ were kānū
were
فِى in
in
شَكٍّۢ doubt shakkin
doubt
مُّرِيبٍۭ disquieting murībin
disquieting
٥٤ (54)
(54)
Und es wird eine Trennung vorgenommen zwischen ihnen und dem, was sie begehren, so wie es zuvor mit ihresgleichen gemacht wurde; sie waren ja in starkem Zweifel.
