الجاثية

La sourate Al-Jathiyah (الجاثية) est le 45e chapitre du Saint Coran — une sourate Mecquoise de 37 versets. Les sourates mecquoises ont été révélées avant l'émigration du Prophète Muhammad (paix sur lui) à Médine et mettent souvent l'accent sur la foi, l'unicité de Dieu et l'au-delà.

بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
45:1
حمٓHa Meemhha-meem١
Hâ, Mîm .
45:2
تَنزِيلُ(The) revelationtanzīluٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(of) the Bookl-kitābiمِنَ(is) fromminaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiٱلْعَزِيزِthe All-Mightyl-ʿazīziٱلْحَكِيمِthe All-Wisel-ḥakīmi٢
La révélation du Livre émane d’Allah, le Puissant, le Sage.
45:3
إِنَّIndeedinnaفِىinfīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِand the earthwal-arḍiلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢsurely (are) Signslaāyātinلِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَfor the believerslil'mu'minīna٣
Il y a certes dans les cieux et la terre des preuves pour les croyants.
45:4
وَفِىAnd inwafīخَلْقِكُمْyour creationkhalqikumوَمَاand whatwamāيَبُثُّHe dispersesyabuthuمِنofminدَآبَّةٍ(the) moving creaturesdābbatinءَايَـٰتٌۭ(are) Signsāyātunلِّقَوْمٍۢfor a peopleliqawminيُوقِنُونَwho are certainyūqinūna٤
Et dans votre propre création, et dans ce qu’Il dissémine comme animaux, il y a des signes pour des gens qui croient avec certitude.
45:5
وَٱخْتِلَـٰفِAnd (in the) alternationwa-ikh'tilāfiٱلَّيْلِ(of) the nightal-layliوَٱلنَّهَارِand the daywal-nahāriوَمَآand whatwamāأَنزَلَAllah sends downanzalaٱللَّهُAllah sends downl-lahuمِنَfromminaٱلسَّمَآءِthe skyl-samāiمِنofminرِّزْقٍۢ(the) provisionriz'qinفَأَحْيَاand gives lifefa-aḥyāبِهِtherebybihiٱلْأَرْضَ(to) the earthl-arḍaبَعْدَafterbaʿdaمَوْتِهَاits deathmawtihāوَتَصْرِيفِand (in) directingwataṣrīfiٱلرِّيَـٰحِ(the) windsl-riyāḥiءَايَـٰتٌۭ(are) Signsāyātunلِّقَوْمٍۢfor a peopleliqawminيَعْقِلُونَwho reasonyaʿqilūna٥
De même dans l’alternance de la nuit et du jour, et dans ce qu’Allah fait descendre du ciel, comme subsistance [pluie] par laquelle Il redonne la vie à la terre une fois morte, et dans la distribution des vents, il y a des signes pour des gens qui raisonnent.
45:6
تِلْكَThesetil'kaءَايَـٰتُ(are the) Versesāyātuٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiنَتْلُوهَاWe recite themnatlūhāعَلَيْكَto youʿalaykaبِٱلْحَقِّ ۖin truthbil-ḥaqiفَبِأَىِّThen in whatfabi-ayyiحَدِيثٍۭstatementḥadīthinبَعْدَafterbaʿdaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَءَايَـٰتِهِۦand His Verseswaāyātihiيُؤْمِنُونَwill they believeyu'minūna٦
Voilà les versets d’Allah que Nous te récitons en toute vérité. Alors dans quelle parole croiront-ils après [la parole] d’Allah et après Ses signes ?
45:7
وَيْلٌۭWoewaylunلِّكُلِّto everylikulliأَفَّاكٍliaraffākinأَثِيمٍۢsinfulathīmin٧
Malheur à tout grand imposteur pécheur !
45:8
يَسْمَعُWho hearsyasmaʿuءَايَـٰتِ(the) Versesāyātiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiتُتْلَىٰrecitedtut'lāعَلَيْهِto himʿalayhiثُمَّthenthummaيُصِرُّpersistsyuṣirruمُسْتَكْبِرًۭاarrogantlymus'takbiranكَأَنas ifka-anلَّمْnotlamيَسْمَعْهَا ۖhe heard themyasmaʿhāفَبَشِّرْهُSo give him tidingsfabashir'huبِعَذَابٍ(of) a punishmentbiʿadhābinأَلِيمٍۢpainfulalīmin٨
Il entend les versets d’Allah qu’on lui récite puis persiste dans son orgueil, comme s’il ne les avait jamais entendus. Annonce-lui donc un châtiment douloureux.
45:9
وَإِذَاAnd whenwa-idhāعَلِمَhe knowsʿalimaمِنْofminءَايَـٰتِنَاOur Versesāyātināشَيْـًٔاanythingshayanٱتَّخَذَهَاhe takes themittakhadhahāهُزُوًا ۚ(in) ridiculehuzuwanأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَThose ulāikaلَهُمْfor themlahumعَذَابٌۭ(is) a punishmentʿadhābunمُّهِينٌۭhumiliatingmuhīnun٩
S’il a connaissance de quelques-uns de Nos versets, il les tourne en dérision. Ceux-là auront un châtiment avilissant :
45:10
مِّنBefore themminوَرَآئِهِمْBefore themwarāihimجَهَنَّمُ ۖ(is) Helljahannamuوَلَاand notwalāيُغْنِىwill availyugh'nīعَنْهُمthemʿanhumمَّاwhatmāكَسَبُوا۟they had earnedkasabūشَيْـًۭٔاanythingshayanوَلَاand notwalāمَاwhatmāٱتَّخَذُوا۟they had takenittakhadhūمِنbesidesminدُونِbesidesdūniٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiأَوْلِيَآءَ ۖ(as) protectorsawliyāaوَلَهُمْAnd for themwalahumعَذَابٌ(is) a punishmentʿadhābunعَظِيمٌgreatʿaẓīmun١٠
L’Enfer est à leurs trousses. Ce qu’ils auront acquis ne leur servira à rien, ni ce qu’ils auront pris comme protecteurs, en dehors d’Allah. Ils auront un énorme châtiment.
45:11
هَـٰذَاThishādhāهُدًۭى ۖ(is) guidancehudanوَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūبِـَٔايَـٰتِin (the) Versesbiāyātiرَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lordrabbihimلَهُمْfor themlahumعَذَابٌۭ(is) a punishmentʿadhābunمِّنofminرِّجْزٍfilthrij'zinأَلِيمٌpainfulalīmun١١
Ceci [le Coran] est un guide. Et ceux qui récusent les versets de leur Seigneur auront le supplice d’un châtiment douloureux.
45:12
۞ ٱللَّهُAllahal-lahuٱلَّذِى(is) the One Whoalladhīسَخَّرَsubjectedsakharaلَكُمُto youlakumuٱلْبَحْرَthe seal-baḥraلِتَجْرِىَthat may saillitajriyaٱلْفُلْكُthe shipsl-ful'kuفِيهِthereinfīhiبِأَمْرِهِۦby His Commandbi-amrihiوَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟and that you may seekwalitabtaghūمِنofminفَضْلِهِۦHis Bountyfaḍlihiوَلَعَلَّكُمْand that you maywalaʿallakumتَشْكُرُونَgive thankstashkurūna١٢
Allah, c’est Lui qui vous a assujetti la mer, afin que les vaisseaux y voguent, par Son ordre, et que vous alliez en quête de Sa grâce afin que vous soyez reconnaissants.
45:13
وَسَخَّرَAnd He has subjectedwasakharaلَكُمto youlakumمَّاwhatevermāفِى(is) infīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَمَاand whateverwamāفِى(is) infīٱلْأَرْضِthe earth l-arḍiجَمِيعًۭاalljamīʿanمِّنْهُ ۚfrom Himmin'huإِنَّIndeedinnaفِىinfīذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢsurely are Signslaāyātinلِّقَوْمٍۢfor a peopleliqawminيَتَفَكَّرُونَwho give thoughtyatafakkarūna١٣
Et Il vous a assujetti tout ce qui est dans les cieux et sur la terre, le tout venant de Lui. Il y a là des signes pour des gens qui réfléchissent .
45:14
قُلSayqulلِّلَّذِينَto those wholilladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūيَغْفِرُوا۟(to) forgiveyaghfirūلِلَّذِينَthose wholilladhīnaلَا(do) notlāيَرْجُونَhopeyarjūnaأَيَّامَ(for the) daysayyāmaٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiلِيَجْزِىَthat He may recompenseliyajziyaقَوْمًۢاa peopleqawmanبِمَاfor whatbimāكَانُوا۟they used tokānūيَكْسِبُونَearnyaksibūna١٤
Dis à ceux qui ont cru de pardonner à ceux qui n’espèrent pas les jours d’Allah afin qu’Il rétribue [chaque] peuple pour les acquis qu’ils faisaient.
45:15
مَنْWhoevermanعَمِلَdoesʿamilaصَـٰلِحًۭاa righteous deedṣāliḥanفَلِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖthen it is for his soulfalinafsihiوَمَنْand whoeverwamanأَسَآءَdoes evilasāaفَعَلَيْهَا ۖthen it (is) against itfaʿalayhāثُمَّThenthummaإِلَىٰtoilāرَبِّكُمْyour Lordrabbikumتُرْجَعُونَyou will be returnedtur'jaʿūna١٥
Quiconque fait le bien, le fait pour lui-même; et quiconque agit mal, agit contre lui-même. Puis vous serez ramenés vers votre Seigneur.
45:16
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadءَاتَيْنَاWe gaveātaynāبَنِىٓ(the) Children of Israelbanīإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ(the) Children of Israelis'rāīlaٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaوَٱلْحُكْمَand the wisdomwal-ḥuk'maوَٱلنُّبُوَّةَand the Prophethoodwal-nubuwataوَرَزَقْنَـٰهُمand We provided themwarazaqnāhumمِّنَofminaٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتِthe good thingsl-ṭayibātiوَفَضَّلْنَـٰهُمْand We preferred themwafaḍḍalnāhumعَلَىoverʿalāٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَthe worldsl-ʿālamīna١٦
Nous avons effectivement apporté aux Enfants d’Israël le Livre, la sagesse, la prophétie, et leur avons attribué de bonnes choses, et les préférâmes aux autres humains [leurs contemporains] ;
45:17
وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمAnd We gave themwaātaynāhumبَيِّنَـٰتٍۢclear proofsbayyinātinمِّنَofminaٱلْأَمْرِ ۖthe matterl-amriفَمَاAnd notfamāٱخْتَلَفُوٓا۟they differedikh'talafūإِلَّاexceptillāمِنۢafterminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiمَا[what]māجَآءَهُمُcame to themjāahumuٱلْعِلْمُthe knowledgel-ʿil'muبَغْيًۢا(out of) envybaghyanبَيْنَهُمْ ۚbetween themselvesbaynahumإِنَّIndeedinnaرَبَّكَyour Lordrabbakaيَقْضِىwill judgeyaqḍīبَيْنَهُمْbetween thembaynahumيَوْمَ(on the) Dayyawmaٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrectionl-qiyāmatiفِيمَاabout whatfīmāكَانُوا۟they used tokānūفِيهِthereinfīhiيَخْتَلِفُونَdifferyakhtalifūna١٧
Et Nous leur avons apporté des preuves évidentes de l’Ordre . Ils ne divergèrent qu’après que la science leur fut venue, par agressivité entre eux. Ton Seigneur décidera parmi eux, au Jour de la Résurrection, sur ce en quoi ils divergeaient.
45:18
ثُمَّThenthummaجَعَلْنَـٰكَWe put youjaʿalnākaعَلَىٰonʿalāشَرِيعَةٍۢan ordained waysharīʿatinمِّنَofminaٱلْأَمْرِthe matterl-amriفَٱتَّبِعْهَاso follow itfa-ittabiʿ'hāوَلَاand (do) notwalāتَتَّبِعْfollowtattabiʿأَهْوَآءَ(the) desiresahwāaٱلَّذِينَ(of) those whoalladhīnaلَا(do) notlāيَعْلَمُونَknowyaʿlamūna١٨
Puis Nous t’avons mis sur la voie de l’Ordre [une religion claire et parfaite]. Suis-la donc et ne suis pas les passions de ceux qui ne savent pas.
45:19
إِنَّهُمْIndeed, theyinnahumلَنneverlanيُغْنُوا۟will availyugh'nūعَنكَyouʿankaمِنَagainstminaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiشَيْـًۭٔا ۚ(in) anythingshayanوَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَthe wrongdoersl-ẓālimīnaبَعْضُهُمْsome of thembaʿḍuhumأَوْلِيَآءُ(are) alliesawliyāuبَعْضٍۢ ۖ(of) othersbaʿḍinوَٱللَّهُand Allahwal-lahuوَلِىُّ(is the) Protectorwaliyyuٱلْمُتَّقِينَ(of) the righteousl-mutaqīna١٩
Ils ne te seront d’aucune utilité vis-à-vis d’Allah. Les injustes sont vraiment alliés les uns des autres ; tandis qu’Allah est le Protecteur des pieux.
45:20
هَـٰذَاThishādhāبَصَـٰٓئِرُ(is) enlightenmentbaṣāiruلِلنَّاسِfor mankindlilnnāsiوَهُدًۭىand guidancewahudanوَرَحْمَةٌۭand mercywaraḥmatunلِّقَوْمٍۢfor a peopleliqawminيُوقِنُونَwho are certainyūqinūna٢٠
Ceci [le Coran] constitue pour les hommes une source de clarté, un guide et une miséricorde pour les gens qui croient avec certitude.
45:21
أَمْDoamحَسِبَthinkḥasibaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaٱجْتَرَحُوا۟commitij'taraḥūٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِevil deedsl-sayiātiأَنthatanنَّجْعَلَهُمْWe will make themnajʿalahumكَٱلَّذِينَlike those whoka-alladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believedāmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and didwaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِrighteous deedsl-ṣāliḥātiسَوَآءًۭequalsawāanمَّحْيَاهُمْ(in) their lifemaḥyāhumوَمَمَاتُهُمْ ۚand their deathwamamātuhumسَآءَEvil issāaمَاwhatmāيَحْكُمُونَthey judgeyaḥkumūna٢١
Ceux qui commettent des mauvaises actions comptent-ils que Nous allons les traiter comme ceux qui croient et accomplissent les bonnes œuvres, dans leur vie et dans leur mort? Comme ils jugent mal !
45:22
وَخَلَقَAnd Allah createdwakhalaqaٱللَّهُAnd Allah createdl-lahuٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضَand the earthwal-arḍaبِٱلْحَقِّin truthbil-ḥaqiوَلِتُجْزَىٰand that may be recompensedwalituj'zāكُلُّeverykulluنَفْسٍۭsoulnafsinبِمَاfor whatbimāكَسَبَتْit has earnedkasabatوَهُمْand theywahumلَاwill not be wrongedlāيُظْلَمُونَwill not be wrongedyuẓ'lamūna٢٢
Et Allah a créé les cieux et la terre en toute vérité et afin que chaque âme soit rétribuée selon ce qu’elle a acquis. Ils ne seront cependant pas lésés.
45:23
أَفَرَءَيْتَHave you seenafara-aytaمَنِ(he) whomaniٱتَّخَذَtakesittakhadhaإِلَـٰهَهُۥ(as) his godilāhahuهَوَىٰهُhis desirehawāhuوَأَضَلَّهُand Allah lets him go astraywa-aḍallahuٱللَّهُand Allah lets him go astrayl-lahuعَلَىٰknowinglyʿalāعِلْمٍۢknowinglyʿil'minوَخَتَمَand He sets a sealwakhatamaعَلَىٰuponʿalāسَمْعِهِۦhis hearingsamʿihiوَقَلْبِهِۦand his heartwaqalbihiوَجَعَلَand putswajaʿalaعَلَىٰoverʿalāبَصَرِهِۦhis visionbaṣarihiغِشَـٰوَةًۭa veilghishāwatanفَمَنThen whofamanيَهْدِيهِwill guide himyahdīhiمِنۢafterminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiٱللَّهِ ۚAllahl-lahiأَفَلَاThen will notafalāتَذَكَّرُونَyou receive admonitiontadhakkarūna٢٣
Vois-tu celui qui prend sa passion pour sa propre divinité ? Et Allah l’égare sciemment et scelle son ouïe et son cœur et étend un voile sur sa vue. Qui donc peut le guider après Allah ? Ne vous rappelez-vous donc pas ?
45:24
وَقَالُوا۟And they saywaqālūمَاNotmāهِىَithiyaإِلَّا(is) butillāحَيَاتُنَاour lifeḥayātunāٱلدُّنْيَا(of) the worldl-dun'yāنَمُوتُwe dienamūtuوَنَحْيَاand we livewanaḥyāوَمَاand notwamāيُهْلِكُنَآdestroys usyuh'likunāإِلَّاexceptillāٱلدَّهْرُ ۚthe timel-dahruوَمَاAnd notwamāلَهُمfor themlahumبِذَٰلِكَof thatbidhālikaمِنْanyminعِلْمٍ ۖknowledgeʿil'minإِنْnotinهُمْtheyhumإِلَّا(do) butillāيَظُنُّونَguessyaẓunnūna٢٤
Et ils dirent : "Il n’y a pour nous que la vie d’ici-bas: nous mourons et nous vivons et seul le temps nous fait périr." Ils n’ont de cela aucune connaissance : ils ne font qu’émettre des conjectures.
45:25
وَإِذَاAnd whenwa-idhāتُتْلَىٰare recitedtut'lāعَلَيْهِمْto themʿalayhimءَايَـٰتُنَاOur Versesāyātunāبَيِّنَـٰتٍۢclearbayyinātinمَّاnotmāكَانَiskānaحُجَّتَهُمْtheir argumentḥujjatahumإِلَّآexceptillāأَنthatanقَالُوا۟they sayqālūٱئْتُوا۟Bringi'tūبِـَٔابَآئِنَآour forefathersbiābāināإِنifinكُنتُمْyou arekuntumصَـٰدِقِينَtruthfulṣādiqīna٢٥
Et quand on leur récite Nos versets bien clairs, leur seul argument est de dire : "Faites revenir nos ancêtres si vous êtes véridiques."
45:26
قُلِSayquliٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuيُحْيِيكُمْgives you lifeyuḥ'yīkumثُمَّthenthummaيُمِيتُكُمْcauses you to dieyumītukumثُمَّthenthummaيَجْمَعُكُمْHe will gather youyajmaʿukumإِلَىٰtoilāيَوْمِ(the) Dayyawmiٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrectionl-qiyāmatiلَاnolāرَيْبَdoubtraybaفِيهِabout itfīhiوَلَـٰكِنَّButwalākinnaأَكْثَرَmostaktharaٱلنَّاسِ(of) the peoplel-nāsiلَا(do) notlāيَعْلَمُونَknowyaʿlamūna٢٦
Dis : "Allah vous donne la vie puis Il vous donne la mort. Ensuite Il vous réunira le Jour de la Résurrection, il n’y a pas de doute à ce sujet, mais la plupart des gens ne savent pas.
45:27
وَلِلَّهِAnd for Allahwalillahiمُلْكُ(is the) dominionmul'kuٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚand the earthwal-arḍiوَيَوْمَand (the) Daywayawmaتَقُومُis establishedtaqūmuٱلسَّاعَةُthe Hourl-sāʿatuيَوْمَئِذٍۢthat Dayyawma-idhinيَخْسَرُwill loseyakhsaruٱلْمُبْطِلُونَthe falsifiersl-mub'ṭilūna٢٧
A Allah appartient le royaume des cieux et de la terre. Et le jour où l’Heure arrivera, ce jour-là, les imposteurs seront perdus.
45:28
وَتَرَىٰAnd you will seewatarāكُلَّeverykullaأُمَّةٍۢnationummatinجَاثِيَةًۭ ۚkneelingjāthiyatanكُلُّEverykulluأُمَّةٍۢnationummatinتُدْعَىٰٓwill be calledtud'ʿāإِلَىٰtoilāكِتَـٰبِهَاits recordkitābihāٱلْيَوْمَTodayl-yawmaتُجْزَوْنَyou will be recompensedtuj'zawnaمَا(for) whatmāكُنتُمْyou used tokuntumتَعْمَلُونَdotaʿmalūna٢٨
Et tu verras chaque communauté agenouillée. Chaque communauté sera appelée vers son livre. On vous rétribuera aujourd’hui selon ce que vous œuvriez.
45:29
هَـٰذَاThishādhāكِتَـٰبُنَاOur Recordkitābunāيَنطِقُspeaksyanṭiquعَلَيْكُمabout youʿalaykumبِٱلْحَقِّ ۚin truthbil-ḥaqiإِنَّاIndeed, Weinnāكُنَّا[We] used tokunnāنَسْتَنسِخُtranscribenastansikhuمَاwhatmāكُنتُمْyou used tokuntumتَعْمَلُونَdotaʿmalūna٢٩
Voilà Notre Livre. Il parle de vous en toute vérité car Nous enregistrions [tout] ce que vous faisiez."
45:30
فَأَمَّاThen as forfa-ammāٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believedāmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and didwaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ[the] righteous deedsl-ṣāliḥātiفَيُدْخِلُهُمْwill admit themfayud'khiluhumرَبُّهُمْtheir Lordrabbuhumفِىin(to)fīرَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚHis mercyraḥmatihiذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaهُوَ[it]huwaٱلْفَوْزُ(is) the successl-fawzuٱلْمُبِينُclearl-mubīnu٣٠
Ceux qui ont cru et fait de bonnes œuvres, leur Seigneur les fera entrer dans sa miséricorde. Voilà le succès évident.
45:31
وَأَمَّاBut as forwa-ammāٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوٓا۟disbelievedkafarūأَفَلَمْThen were notafalamتَكُنْThen were nottakunءَايَـٰتِىMy Versesāyātīتُتْلَىٰrecitedtut'lāعَلَيْكُمْto youʿalaykumفَٱسْتَكْبَرْتُمْbut you were proudfa-is'takbartumوَكُنتُمْand you becamewakuntumقَوْمًۭاa peopleqawmanمُّجْرِمِينَcriminalsmuj'rimīna٣١
Et quant à ceux qui ont mécru [il sera dit] : "Mes versets ne vous étaient-ils pas récités ? Mais vous vous enfliez d’orgueil et vous étiez des gens criminels."
45:32
وَإِذَاAnd whenwa-idhāقِيلَit was saidqīlaإِنَّIndeedinnaوَعْدَ(the) Promisewaʿdaٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiحَقٌّۭ(is) trueḥaqqunوَٱلسَّاعَةُand the Hour wal-sāʿatuلَا(there is) nolāرَيْبَdoubtraybaفِيهَاabout itfīhāقُلْتُمyou saidqul'tumمَّاNotmāنَدْرِىwe knownadrīمَاwhatmāٱلسَّاعَةُthe Hour (is)l-sāʿatuإِنNotinنَّظُنُّwe thinknaẓunnuإِلَّاexceptillāظَنًّۭاan assumptionẓannanوَمَاand notwamāنَحْنُwenaḥnuبِمُسْتَيْقِنِينَ(are) convincedbimus'tayqinīna٣٢
Et quand on disait : "la promesse d’Allah est vérité ; et l’Heure n’est pas l’objet d’un doute", vous disiez : "Nous ne savons pas ce que c’est que l’Heure ; et nous ne faisions à son sujet que de simples conjectures et nous ne sommes pas convaincus [qu’elle arrivera].
45:33
وَبَدَاAnd (will) appearwabadāلَهُمْto themlahumسَيِّـَٔاتُ(the) evilsayyiātuمَا(of) whatmāعَمِلُوا۟they didʿamilūوَحَاقَand (will) envelopwaḥāqaبِهِمthembihimمَّاwhatmāكَانُوا۟they usedkānūبِهِۦ[at it]bihiيَسْتَهْزِءُونَ(to) mockyastahziūna٣٣
Et leur apparaîtra [la laideur] de leurs mauvaises actions. Et ce dont ils se moquaient les cernera.
45:34
وَقِيلَAnd it will be saidwaqīlaٱلْيَوْمَTodayl-yawmaنَنسَىٰكُمْWe forget younansākumكَمَاaskamāنَسِيتُمْyou forgotnasītumلِقَآءَ(the) meetingliqāaيَوْمِكُمْ(of) this Day of yoursyawmikumهَـٰذَا(of) this Day of yourshādhāوَمَأْوَىٰكُمُand your abodewamawākumuٱلنَّارُ(is) the Firel-nāruوَمَاand notwamāلَكُمfor youlakumمِّنanyminنَّـٰصِرِينَhelpersnāṣirīna٣٤
Et on leur dira : "Aujourd’hui Nous vous oublions comme vous avez oublié la rencontre de votre jour que voici. Votre refuge est le Feu ; et vous n’aurez point de secoureurs.
45:35
ذَٰلِكُمThatdhālikumبِأَنَّكُمُ(is) because youbi-annakumuٱتَّخَذْتُمْtookittakhadhtumءَايَـٰتِ(the) Versesāyātiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiهُزُوًۭا(in) ridiculehuzuwanوَغَرَّتْكُمُand deceived youwagharratkumuٱلْحَيَوٰةُthe lifel-ḥayatuٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ(of) the worldl-dun'yāفَٱلْيَوْمَSo this Dayfal-yawmaلَاnotlāيُخْرَجُونَthey will be brought forthyukh'rajūnaمِنْهَاfrom itmin'hāوَلَاand notwalāهُمْtheyhumيُسْتَعْتَبُونَwill be asked to appeaseyus'taʿtabūna٣٥
Cela parce que vous preniez en raillerie les versets d’Allah et que la vie d’ici- bas vous trompait." Ce jour-là on ne les en fera pas sortir et on ne les excusera pas non plus.
45:36
فَلِلَّهِThen for Allahfalillahiٱلْحَمْدُ(is) all the praisel-ḥamduرَبِّ(the) Lordrabbiٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَرَبِّand (the) Lordwarabbiٱلْأَرْضِ(of) the earthl-arḍiرَبِّ(the) lordrabbiٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ(of) the worldsl-ʿālamīna٣٦
Louange à Allah, Seigneur des cieux et Seigneur de la terre : Seigneur de l’univers.
45:37
وَلَهُAnd for Himwalahuٱلْكِبْرِيَآءُ(is) the greatnessl-kib'riyāuفِىinfīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖand the earthwal-arḍiوَهُوَand Hewahuwaٱلْعَزِيزُ(is) the All-Mightyl-ʿazīzuٱلْحَكِيمُthe All-Wisel-ḥakīmu٣٧
Et à Lui la grandeur dans les cieux et la terre. Et c’est Lui le Puissant, le Sage.
