النور

La sourate An-Nur (النور) est le 24e chapitre du Saint Coran — une sourate Médinoise de 64 versets. Les sourates médinoises ont été révélées après l'émigration à Médine et traitent plus souvent du culte, de la loi et de la vie de la communauté musulmane.

Bismillah
بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
24:1
سُورَةٌA Surah sūratunأَنزَلْنَـٰهَاWe (have) sent it downanzalnāhāوَفَرَضْنَـٰهَاand We (have) made it obligatorywafaraḍnāhāوَأَنزَلْنَاand We (have) revealedwa-anzalnāفِيهَآthereinfīhāءَايَـٰتٍۭVersesāyātinبَيِّنَـٰتٍۢclearbayyinātinلَّعَلَّكُمْso that you maylaʿallakumتَذَكَّرُونَtake heedtadhakkarūna١
Voici une sourate que Nous avons fait descendre et que Nous avons imposée, et Nous y avons fait descendre des versets explicites afin que vous vous souveniez."
24:2
ٱلزَّانِيَةُThe fornicatressal-zāniyatuوَٱلزَّانِىand the fornicatorwal-zānīفَٱجْلِدُوا۟[then] flogfa-ij'lidūكُلَّeachkullaوَٰحِدٍۢonewāḥidinمِّنْهُمَاof themmin'humāمِا۟ئَةَ(with) hundredmi-ataجَلْدَةٍۢ ۖlash(es)jaldatinوَلَاAnd (let) notwalāتَأْخُذْكُمwithhold youtakhudh'kumبِهِمَاpity for thembihimāرَأْفَةٌۭpity for themrafatunفِىconcerningfīدِينِ(the) religion of Allahdīniٱللَّهِ(the) religion of Allahl-lahiإِنifinكُنتُمْyoukuntumتُؤْمِنُونَbelievetu'minūnaبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiوَٱلْيَوْمِand the Daywal-yawmiٱلْـَٔاخِرِ ۖthe Lastl-ākhiriوَلْيَشْهَدْAnd let witnesswalyashhadعَذَابَهُمَاtheir punishmentʿadhābahumāطَآئِفَةٌۭa groupṭāifatunمِّنَofminaٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believersl-mu'minīna٢
La fornicatrice et le fornicateur, fouettez-les chacun de cent coups de fouet ! Et ne soyez point pris de pitié pour eux dans l’exécution de la loi d’Allah - si vous croyez en Allah et au Jour Dernier. Et qu’un groupe de croyants assiste à leur punition.
24:3
ٱلزَّانِىThe fornicatoral-zānīلَا(will) notlāيَنكِحُmarryyankiḥuإِلَّاexceptillāزَانِيَةًa fornicatresszāniyatanأَوْorawمُشْرِكَةًۭa polytheist womanmush'rikatanوَٱلزَّانِيَةُand the fornicatress wal-zāniyatuلَا(will) notlāيَنكِحُهَآmarry heryankiḥuhāإِلَّاexceptillāزَانٍa fornicatorzāninأَوْorawمُشْرِكٌۭ ۚa polytheist manmush'rikunوَحُرِّمَAnd is forbiddenwaḥurrimaذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaعَلَىtoʿalāٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believersl-mu'minīna٣
Le fornicateur n’épousera qu’une fornicatrice ou une associatrice. Et la fornicatrice ne sera épousée que par un fornicateur ou un associateur; et cela a été interdit aux croyants .
24:4
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaيَرْمُونَaccuseyarmūnaٱلْمُحْصَنَـٰتِthe chaste womenl-muḥ'ṣanātiثُمَّthenthummaلَمْnotlamيَأْتُوا۟they bringyatūبِأَرْبَعَةِfourbi-arbaʿatiشُهَدَآءَwitnessesshuhadāaفَٱجْلِدُوهُمْthen flog themfa-ij'lidūhumثَمَـٰنِينَ(with) eightythamānīnaجَلْدَةًۭlashe(s)jaldatanوَلَاand (do) notwalāتَقْبَلُوا۟accepttaqbalūلَهُمْtheirlahumشَهَـٰدَةًtestimonyshahādatanأَبَدًۭا ۚeverabadanوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَAnd thosewa-ulāikaهُمُtheyhumuٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ(are) the defiantly disobedientl-fāsiqūna٤
Et ceux qui lancent des accusations contre des femmes chastes sans produire par la suite quatre témoins, fouettez-les de quatre-vingts coups de fouet ! Et n’acceptez plus jamais leur témoignage. Et ceux-là sont les pervers,
24:5
إِلَّاExceptillāٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaتَابُوا۟repenttābūمِنۢafterminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaوَأَصْلَحُوا۟and reformwa-aṣlaḥūفَإِنَّThen indeedfa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaغَفُورٌۭ(is) Oft-ForgivingghafūrunرَّحِيمٌۭMost Mercifulraḥīmun٥
à l’exception de ceux qui, après cela, se repentent et se réforment, car Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.
24:6
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaيَرْمُونَaccuseyarmūnaأَزْوَٰجَهُمْtheir spousesazwājahumوَلَمْand notwalamيَكُنhaveyakunلَّهُمْfor themlahumشُهَدَآءُwitnessesshuhadāuإِلَّآexceptillāأَنفُسُهُمْthemselvesanfusuhumفَشَهَـٰدَةُthen (the) testimonyfashahādatuأَحَدِهِمْ(of) one of themaḥadihimأَرْبَعُ(is) fourarbaʿuشَهَـٰدَٰتٍۭtestimoniesshahādātinبِٱللَّهِ ۙby Allahbil-lahiإِنَّهُۥthat heinnahuلَمِنَ(is) surely oflaminaٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَthe truthfull-ṣādiqīna٦
Et quant à ceux qui lancent des accusations contre leurs propres épouses, sans avoir d’autres témoins qu’eux-mêmes, le témoignage de l’un d’eux doit être une quadruple attestation par Allah qu’il est du nombre des véridiques,
24:7
وَٱلْخَـٰمِسَةُAnd the fifthwal-khāmisatuأَنَّthatannaلَعْنَتَ(the) curse of Allahlaʿnataٱللَّهِ(the) curse of Allahl-lahiعَلَيْهِ(be) upon himʿalayhiإِنifinكَانَhe iskānaمِنَofminaٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَthe liarsl-kādhibīna٧
et la cinquième [attestation] est "que la malédiction d’Allah tombe sur lui s’il est du nombre des menteurs."
24:8
وَيَدْرَؤُا۟But it would preventwayadra-uعَنْهَاfrom herʿanhāٱلْعَذَابَthe punishmentl-ʿadhābaأَنthatanتَشْهَدَshe bears witnesstashhadaأَرْبَعَfourarbaʿaشَهَـٰدَٰتٍۭtestimoniesshahādātinبِٱللَّهِ ۙby Allahbil-lahiإِنَّهُۥthat heinnahuلَمِنَ(is) surely oflaminaٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَthe liarsl-kādhibīna٨
Et on ne lui infligera pas le châtiment [de la lapidation] si elle atteste quatre fois par Allah qu’il [son mari] est certainement du nombre des menteurs,
24:9
وَٱلْخَـٰمِسَةَAnd the fifthwal-khāmisataأَنَّthatannaغَضَبَthe wrath of Allahghaḍabaٱللَّهِthe wrath of Allahl-lahiعَلَيْهَآ(be) upon herʿalayhāإِنifinكَانَhe iskānaمِنَofminaٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَthe truthfull-ṣādiqīna٩
et la cinquième [attestation] est que la colère d’Allah soit sur elle, s’il était du nombre des véridiques .
24:10
وَلَوْلَاAnd if notwalawlāفَضْلُ(for) the Grace of Allahfaḍluٱللَّهِ(for) the Grace of Allahl-lahiعَلَيْكُمْupon youʿalaykumوَرَحْمَتُهُۥand His Mercy waraḥmatuhuوَأَنَّand thatwa-annaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaتَوَّابٌ(is) Oft-Returning (to Mercy)tawwābunحَكِيمٌAll-Wiseḥakīmun١٠
Et, n'étaient la grâce d'Allah sur vous et Sa miséricorde... Allah est Grand accueillant au repentir et Sage !
24:11
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaجَآءُوbroughtjāūبِٱلْإِفْكِthe liebil-if'kiعُصْبَةٌۭ(are) a groupʿuṣ'batunمِّنكُمْ ۚamong youminkumلَا(Do) notlāتَحْسَبُوهُthink ittaḥsabūhuشَرًّۭاbadsharranلَّكُم ۖfor youlakumبَلْnaybalهُوَithuwaخَيْرٌۭ(is) goodkhayrunلَّكُمْ ۚfor youlakumلِكُلِّFor everylikulliٱمْرِئٍۢpersonim'ri-inمِّنْهُمamong themmin'humمَّا(is) whatmāٱكْتَسَبَhe earnedik'tasabaمِنَofminaٱلْإِثْمِ ۚthe sinl-ith'miوَٱلَّذِىand the one whowa-alladhīتَوَلَّىٰtook upon himself a greater share of ittawallāكِبْرَهُۥtook upon himself a greater share of itkib'rahuمِنْهُمْamong them min'humلَهُۥfor himlahuعَذَابٌ(is) a punishmentʿadhābunعَظِيمٌۭgreatʿaẓīmun١١
Ceux qui sont venus avec la calomnie sont un groupe d’entre vous. Ne pensez pas que c’est un mal pour vous, plutôt, c’est un bien pour vous. À chacun d’eux ce qu’il a acquis comme pêché. Et celui d’entre eux qui s’est chargé de la plus grande part aura un énorme châtiment.
24:12
لَّوْلَآWhy notlawlāإِذْwhenidhسَمِعْتُمُوهُyou heard itsamiʿ'tumūhuظَنَّthinkẓannaٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَthe believing menl-mu'minūnaوَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتُand the believing womenwal-mu'minātuبِأَنفُسِهِمْgood of themselvesbi-anfusihimخَيْرًۭاgood of themselveskhayranوَقَالُوا۟and saywaqālūهَـٰذَآThishādhāإِفْكٌۭ(is) a lieif'kunمُّبِينٌۭclearmubīnun١٢
Pourquoi, lorsque vous l’avez entendue [cette calomnie], les croyants et les croyantes n’ont-ils pas, en eux-mêmes, conjecturé favorablement, et n’ont-ils pas dit : "C’est une calomnie évidente ?"
24:13
لَّوْلَاWhy (did) notlawlāجَآءُوthey bringjāūعَلَيْهِfor itʿalayhiبِأَرْبَعَةِfourbi-arbaʿatiشُهَدَآءَ ۚwitnessesshuhadāaفَإِذْThen whenfa-idhلَمْnotlamيَأْتُوا۟they broughtyatūبِٱلشُّهَدَآءِthe witnessesbil-shuhadāiفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthen thosefa-ulāikaعِندَnear Allahʿindaٱللَّهِnear Allahl-lahiهُمُtheyhumuٱلْكَـٰذِبُونَ(are) the liarsl-kādhibūna١٣
Pourquoi n’ont-ils pas produit [à l’appui de leurs accusations] quatre témoins ? S’ils ne produisent pas de témoins, alors ce sont eux, auprès d’Allah, les menteurs.
24:14
وَلَوْلَاAnd if notwalawlāفَضْلُ(for the) Gracefaḍluٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiعَلَيْكُمْupon youʿalaykumوَرَحْمَتُهُۥand His Mercywaraḥmatuhuفِىinfīٱلدُّنْيَاthe worldl-dun'yāوَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِand the Hereafterwal-ākhiratiلَمَسَّكُمْsurely would have touched youlamassakumفِىinfīمَآwhatmāأَفَضْتُمْyou had rushed gliblyafaḍtumفِيهِconcerning itfīhiعَذَابٌa punishmentʿadhābunعَظِيمٌgreatʿaẓīmun١٤
N’eussent-été la grâce d’Allah sur vous et Sa miséricorde ici-bas comme dans l’au-delà, un énorme châtiment vous aurait touchés pour cette (calomnie) dans laquelle vous vous êtes lancés,
24:15
إِذْWhenidhتَلَقَّوْنَهُۥyou received ittalaqqawnahuبِأَلْسِنَتِكُمْwith your tonguesbi-alsinatikumوَتَقُولُونَand you saidwataqūlūnaبِأَفْوَاهِكُمwith your mouthsbi-afwāhikumمَّاwhatmāلَيْسَnotlaysaلَكُمfor youlakumبِهِۦof itbihiعِلْمٌۭany knowledgeʿil'munوَتَحْسَبُونَهُۥand you thought itwataḥsabūnahuهَيِّنًۭا(was) insignificanthayyinanوَهُوَwhile itwahuwaعِندَ(was) near Allahʿindaٱللَّهِ(was) near Allahl-lahiعَظِيمٌۭgreatʿaẓīmun١٥
quand vous colportiez la nouvelle avec vos langues et disiez de vos bouches ce dont vous n’aviez aucun savoir ; et vous le comptiez comme insignifiant alors qu’auprès d’Allah cela était énorme.
24:16
وَلَوْلَآAnd why notwalawlāإِذْwhenidhسَمِعْتُمُوهُyou heard itsamiʿ'tumūhuقُلْتُمyou saidqul'tumمَّاNotmāيَكُونُit isyakūnuلَنَآfor uslanāأَنthatanنَّتَكَلَّمَwe speaknatakallamaبِهَـٰذَاof thisbihādhāسُبْحَـٰنَكَGlory be to Yousub'ḥānakaهَـٰذَاThishādhāبُهْتَـٰنٌ(is) a slanderbuh'tānunعَظِيمٌۭgreatʿaẓīmun١٦
Et pourquoi, lorsque vous l’entendiez, ne disiez-vous pas : "Nous ne devons pas en parler. Gloire à Toi (ô Allah) ! C’est une énorme calomnie !"
24:17
يَعِظُكُمُAllah warns youyaʿiẓukumuٱللَّهُAllah warns youl-lahuأَنthatanتَعُودُوا۟you returntaʿūdūلِمِثْلِهِۦٓ(to the) like of itlimith'lihiأَبَدًاeverabadanإِنifinكُنتُمyou arekuntumمُّؤْمِنِينَbelieversmu'minīna١٧
Allah vous exhorte à ne plus jamais revenir à une chose pareille si vous êtes croyants.
24:18
وَيُبَيِّنُAnd Allah makes clearwayubayyinuٱللَّهُAnd Allah makes clearl-lahuلَكُمُto youlakumuٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ ۚthe Versesl-āyātiوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuعَلِيمٌ(is) All-KnowerʿalīmunحَكِيمٌAll-Wiseḥakīmun١٨
Et Allah vous expose clairement les versets et Allah est Omniscient et Sage.
24:19
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaيُحِبُّونَlikeyuḥibbūnaأَنthatanتَشِيعَ(should) spreadtashīʿaٱلْفَـٰحِشَةُthe immoralityl-fāḥishatuفِىamongfīٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūلَهُمْfor themlahumعَذَابٌ(is) a punishmentʿadhābunأَلِيمٌۭpainfulalīmunفِىinfīٱلدُّنْيَاthe worldl-dun'yāوَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚand the Hereafterwal-ākhiratiوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuيَعْلَمُknowsyaʿlamuوَأَنتُمْwhile youwa-antumلَا(do) notlāتَعْلَمُونَknowtaʿlamūna١٩
Ceux qui aiment que la turpitude se propage parmi les croyants auront un châtiment douloureux, ici-bas comme dans l’au-delà. Allah sait, et vous, vous ne savez pas.
24:20
وَلَوْلَاAnd if notwalawlāفَضْلُ(for the) Grace of Allahfaḍluٱللَّهِ(for the) Grace of Allahl-lahiعَلَيْكُمْupon youʿalaykumوَرَحْمَتُهُۥand His MercywaraḥmatuhuوَأَنَّAnd thatwa-annaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaرَءُوفٌۭ(is) Full of KindnessraūfunرَّحِيمٌۭMost Mercifulraḥīmun٢٠
Et n’eussent été la grâce d’Allah sur vous et Sa miséricorde et (n’eût été) qu’Allah est Compatissant et Miséricordieux....
24:21
۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO you who believeyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَO you who believealladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟O you who believeāmanūلَا(Do) notlāتَتَّبِعُوا۟followtattabiʿūخُطُوَٰتِ(the) footstepskhuṭuwātiٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ ۚ(of) the Shaitaanl-shayṭāniوَمَنand whoeverwamanيَتَّبِعْfollowsyattabiʿخُطُوَٰتِ(the) footstepskhuṭuwātiٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ(of) the Shaitaanl-shayṭāniفَإِنَّهُۥthen indeed, hefa-innahuيَأْمُرُcommandsyamuruبِٱلْفَحْشَآءِthe immoralitybil-faḥshāiوَٱلْمُنكَرِ ۚand the evilwal-munkariوَلَوْلَاAnd if notwalawlāفَضْلُ(for the) Grace of Allahfaḍluٱللَّهِ(for the) Grace of Allahl-lahiعَلَيْكُمْupon youʿalaykumوَرَحْمَتُهُۥand His Mercywaraḥmatuhuمَاnotmāزَكَىٰ(would) have been purezakāمِنكُمamong youminkumمِّنْanyoneminأَحَدٍanyoneaḥadinأَبَدًۭاeverabadanوَلَـٰكِنَّbutwalākinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيُزَكِّىpurifiesyuzakkīمَنwhommanيَشَآءُ ۗHe willsyashāuوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuسَمِيعٌ(is) All-HearersamīʿunعَلِيمٌۭAll-Knowerʿalīmun٢١
Ô vous qui avez cru! Ne suivez pas les pas du Diable (Satan). Quiconque suit les pas du Diable (Satan), alors [sachez que] celui-ci ordonne la turpitude et le blâmable. Et n’eussent été la grâce d’Allah envers vous et Sa miséricorde, nul d’entre vous n’aurait jamais été pur. Mais Allah purifie qui Il veut. Et Allah est Audient et Omniscient.
24:22
وَلَاAnd notwalāيَأْتَلِlet swearyataliأُو۟لُوا۟those of virtueulūٱلْفَضْلِthose of virtuel-faḍliمِنكُمْamong youminkumوَٱلسَّعَةِand the amplitude of meanswal-saʿatiأَنthatanيُؤْتُوٓا۟they giveyu'tūأُو۟لِى(to) the near of kinulīٱلْقُرْبَىٰ(to) the near of kinl-qur'bāوَٱلْمَسَـٰكِينَand the needywal-masākīnaوَٱلْمُهَـٰجِرِينَand the emigrantswal-muhājirīnaفِىinfīسَبِيلِ(the) waysabīliٱللَّهِ ۖ(of) Allahl-lahiوَلْيَعْفُوا۟And let them pardonwalyaʿfūوَلْيَصْفَحُوٓا۟ ۗand let them overlookwalyaṣfaḥūأَلَا(Do) notalāتُحِبُّونَyou liketuḥibbūnaأَنthatanيَغْفِرَAllah should forgiveyaghfiraٱللَّهُAllah should forgivel-lahuلَكُمْ ۗyoulakumوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuغَفُورٌۭ(is) Oft-ForgivingghafūrunرَّحِيمٌMost Mercifulraḥīmun٢٢
Et que les détenteurs de richesse et d’aisance parmi vous, ne jurent pas de ne plus faire des dons aux proches, aux pauvres, et à ceux qui émigrent dans le sentier d’Allah. Qu’ils pardonnent et absolvent. N’aimez-vous pas qu’Allah vous pardonne ? Et Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux !
24:23
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaيَرْمُونَaccuseyarmūnaٱلْمُحْصَنَـٰتِthe chaste womenl-muḥ'ṣanātiٱلْغَـٰفِلَـٰتِthe unaware womenl-ghāfilātiٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ(and) the believing womenl-mu'minātiلُعِنُوا۟are cursedluʿinūفِىinfīٱلدُّنْيَاthe worldl-dun'yāوَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِand the Hereafterwal-ākhiratiوَلَهُمْAnd for themwalahumعَذَابٌ(is) a punishmentʿadhābunعَظِيمٌۭgreatʿaẓīmun٢٣
Ceux qui lancent des accusations contre des femmes vertueuses, chastes [qui ne pensent même pas à commettre la turpitude] et croyantes sont maudits ici-bas comme dans l’au-delà; et ils auront un énorme châtiment,
24:24
يَوْمَ(On a) Dayyawmaتَشْهَدُwill bear witnesstashhaduعَلَيْهِمْagainst themʿalayhimأَلْسِنَتُهُمْtheir tonguesalsinatuhumوَأَيْدِيهِمْand their handswa-aydīhimوَأَرْجُلُهُمand their feetwa-arjuluhumبِمَاfor whatbimāكَانُوا۟they usedkānūيَعْمَلُونَ(to) doyaʿmalūna٢٤
Le jour où leurs langues, leurs mains et leurs pieds témoigneront contre eux de ce qu’ils faisaient.
24:25
يَوْمَئِذٍۢThat Dayyawma-idhinيُوَفِّيهِمُAllah will pay them in fullyuwaffīhimuٱللَّهُAllah will pay them in fulll-lahuدِينَهُمُtheir recompensedīnahumuٱلْحَقَّthe duel-ḥaqaوَيَعْلَمُونَand they will knowwayaʿlamūnaأَنَّthatannaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaهُوَHehuwaٱلْحَقُّ(is) the Truthl-ḥaquٱلْمُبِينُthe Manifestl-mubīnu٢٥
Ce jour-là, Allah leur donnera leur pleine et vraie rétribution; et ils sauront que c’est Allah qui est le Vrai de toute évidence.
24:26
ٱلْخَبِيثَـٰتُEvil womenal-khabīthātuلِلْخَبِيثِينَ(are) for evil menlil'khabīthīnaوَٱلْخَبِيثُونَand evil menwal-khabīthūnaلِلْخَبِيثَـٰتِ ۖ(are) for evil womenlil'khabīthātiوَٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتُAnd good womenwal-ṭayibātuلِلطَّيِّبِينَ(are) for good menlilṭṭayyibīnaوَٱلطَّيِّبُونَand good menwal-ṭayibūnaلِلطَّيِّبَـٰتِ ۚ(are) for good womenlilṭṭayyibātiأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَThoseulāikaمُبَرَّءُونَ(are) innocentmubarraūnaمِمَّاof whatmimmāيَقُولُونَ ۖthey sayyaqūlūnaلَهُمFor themlahumمَّغْفِرَةٌۭ(is) forgivenessmaghfiratunوَرِزْقٌۭand a provisionwariz'qunكَرِيمٌۭnoblekarīmun٢٦
Les mauvaises [femmes] aux mauvais [hommes], et les mauvais [hommes] aux mauvaises [femmes]. De même, les bonnes [femmes] aux bons [hommes], et les bons [hommes] aux bonnes [femmes]. Ceux-là sont innocents de ce que les autres disent. Ils ont un pardon et une récompense généreuse (le Paradis).
24:27
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO youyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَwhoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūلَا(Do) notlāتَدْخُلُوا۟entertadkhulūبُيُوتًاhousesbuyūtanغَيْرَother (than)ghayraبُيُوتِكُمْyour housesbuyūtikumحَتَّىٰuntilḥattāتَسْتَأْنِسُوا۟you have asked permissiontastanisūوَتُسَلِّمُوا۟and you have greetedwatusallimūعَلَىٰٓ[on]ʿalāأَهْلِهَا ۚits inhabitantsahlihāذَٰلِكُمْThatdhālikumخَيْرٌۭ(is) bestkhayrunلَّكُمْfor youlakumلَعَلَّكُمْso that you maylaʿallakumتَذَكَّرُونَpay heedtadhakkarūna٢٧
Ô vous qui croyez ! N’entrez pas dans des maisons autres que les vôtres avant de demander la permission [d’une façon délicate] et de saluer leurs habitants. Cela est meilleur pour vous. Peut-être vous souviendrez-vous ?
24:28
فَإِنBut iffa-inلَّمْnotlamتَجِدُوا۟you findtajidūفِيهَآin itfīhāأَحَدًۭاanyoneaḥadanفَلَاthen (do) notfalāتَدْخُلُوهَاenter ittadkhulūhāحَتَّىٰuntilḥattāيُؤْذَنَpermission has been givenyu'dhanaلَكُمْ ۖto youlakumوَإِنAnd ifwa-inقِيلَit is saidqīlaلَكُمُto youlakumuٱرْجِعُوا۟Go backir'jiʿūفَٱرْجِعُوا۟ ۖthen go backfa-ir'jiʿūهُوَithuwaأَزْكَىٰ(is) purerazkāلَكُمْ ۚfor youlakumوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuبِمَاof whatbimāتَعْمَلُونَyou dotaʿmalūnaعَلِيمٌۭ(is) All-Knowerʿalīmun٢٨
Si vous n’y trouvez personne, alors n’y entrez pas avant que permission vous soit donnée. Et si on vous dit : "Retournez !" Eh bien, Retournez. Cela est plus pur pour vous. Et Allah, de ce que vous faites est Omniscient.
24:29
لَّيْسَNotlaysaعَلَيْكُمْupon youʿalaykumجُنَاحٌ(is) any blamejunāḥunأَنthatanتَدْخُلُوا۟you entertadkhulūبُيُوتًاhousesbuyūtanغَيْرَnotghayraمَسْكُونَةٍۢinhabitedmaskūnatinفِيهَاin itfīhāمَتَـٰعٌۭ(is) a provisionmatāʿunلَّكُمْ ۚfor youlakumوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuيَعْلَمُknowsyaʿlamuمَاwhatmāتُبْدُونَyou revealtub'dūnaوَمَاand whatwamāتَكْتُمُونَyou concealtaktumūna٢٩
Nul grief contre vous à entrer dans des maisons inhabitées où se trouve un bien pour vous. Allah sait ce que vous divulguez et ce que vous cachez.
24:30
قُلSayqulلِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَto the believing menlil'mu'minīnaيَغُضُّوا۟they should loweryaghuḍḍūمِنْtheir gazeminأَبْصَـٰرِهِمْtheir gazeabṣārihimوَيَحْفَظُوا۟and they should guardwayaḥfaẓūفُرُوجَهُمْ ۚtheir chastityfurūjahumذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaأَزْكَىٰ(is) purerazkāلَهُمْ ۗfor themlahumإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaخَبِيرٌۢ(is) All-Awarekhabīrunبِمَاof whatbimāيَصْنَعُونَthey doyaṣnaʿūna٣٠
Dis aux croyants de baisser leurs regards et de garder leur chasteté. C’est plus pur pour eux. Allah est, certes, Parfaitement Informé de ce qu’ils font.
24:31
وَقُلAnd saywaqulلِّلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِto the believing womenlil'mu'minātiيَغْضُضْنَ(that) they should loweryaghḍuḍ'naمِنْ[of]minأَبْصَـٰرِهِنَّtheir gazeabṣārihinnaوَيَحْفَظْنَand they should guardwayaḥfaẓnaفُرُوجَهُنَّtheir chastityfurūjahunnaوَلَاand notwalāيُبْدِينَ(to) displayyub'dīnaزِينَتَهُنَّtheir adornmentzīnatahunnaإِلَّاexceptillāمَاwhatmāظَهَرَis apparentẓaharaمِنْهَا ۖof itmin'hāوَلْيَضْرِبْنَAnd let them drawwalyaḍrib'naبِخُمُرِهِنَّtheir head coversbikhumurihinnaعَلَىٰoverʿalāجُيُوبِهِنَّ ۖtheir bosomsjuyūbihinnaوَلَاand notwalāيُبْدِينَ(to) displayyub'dīnaزِينَتَهُنَّtheir adornmentzīnatahunnaإِلَّاexceptillāلِبُعُولَتِهِنَّto their husbandslibuʿūlatihinnaأَوْorawءَابَآئِهِنَّtheir fathersābāihinnaأَوْorawءَابَآءِfathersābāiبُعُولَتِهِنَّ(of) their husbandsbuʿūlatihinnaأَوْorawأَبْنَآئِهِنَّtheir sonsabnāihinnaأَوْorawأَبْنَآءِsonsabnāiبُعُولَتِهِنَّ(of) their husbandsbuʿūlatihinnaأَوْorawإِخْوَٰنِهِنَّtheir brothersikh'wānihinnaأَوْorawبَنِىٓsonsbanīإِخْوَٰنِهِنَّ(of) their brothersikh'wānihinnaأَوْorawبَنِىٓsonsbanīأَخَوَٰتِهِنَّ(of) their sistersakhawātihinnaأَوْorawنِسَآئِهِنَّtheir womennisāihinnaأَوْorawمَاwhatmāمَلَكَتْpossessmalakatأَيْمَـٰنُهُنَّtheir right handsaymānuhunnaأَوِorawiٱلتَّـٰبِعِينَthe attendantsl-tābiʿīnaغَيْرِhaving no physical desireghayriأُو۟لِىhaving no physical desireulīٱلْإِرْبَةِhaving no physical desirel-ir'batiمِنَamongminaٱلرِّجَالِ[the] menl-rijāliأَوِorawiٱلطِّفْلِ[the] childrenl-ṭif'liٱلَّذِينَwhoalladhīnaلَمْ(are) notlamيَظْهَرُوا۟awareyaẓharūعَلَىٰofʿalāعَوْرَٰتِprivate aspectsʿawrātiٱلنِّسَآءِ ۖ(of) the womenl-nisāiوَلَاAnd notwalāيَضْرِبْنَlet them stampyaḍrib'naبِأَرْجُلِهِنَّtheir feetbi-arjulihinnaلِيُعْلَمَto make knownliyuʿ'lamaمَاwhatmāيُخْفِينَthey concealyukh'fīnaمِنofminزِينَتِهِنَّ ۚtheir adornmentzīnatihinnaوَتُوبُوٓا۟And turnwatūbūإِلَىtoilāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiجَمِيعًاaltogetherjamīʿanأَيُّهَO believersayyuhaٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَO believersl-mu'minūnaلَعَلَّكُمْSo that you maylaʿallakumتُفْلِحُونَsucceedtuf'liḥūna٣١
Et dis aux croyantes de baisser leurs regards, de garder leur chasteté, et de ne montrer de leurs atours que ce qui en paraît et qu’elles rabattent leur voile sur leurs poitrines ; et qu’elles ne montrent leurs atours qu’à leurs maris, ou à leurs pères, ou aux pères de leurs maris, ou à leurs fils, ou aux fils de leurs maris, ou à leurs frères, ou aux fils de leurs frères, ou aux fils de leurs sœurs, ou aux femmes musulmanes, ou aux esclaves qu’elles possèdent, ou aux domestiques mâles impuissants, ou aux garçons impubères qui ignorent tout des parties cachées des femmes. Et qu’elles ne frappent pas avec leurs pieds de façon que l’on sache ce qu’elles cachent de leurs parures. Et repentez-vous tous devant Allah, ô croyants, afin que vous récoltiez le succès .
24:32
وَأَنكِحُوا۟And marrywa-ankiḥūٱلْأَيَـٰمَىٰthe singlel-ayāmāمِنكُمْamong youminkumوَٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَand the righteouswal-ṣāliḥīnaمِنْamongminعِبَادِكُمْyour male slavesʿibādikumوَإِمَآئِكُمْ ۚand your female slaveswa-imāikumإِنIfinيَكُونُوا۟they areyakūnūفُقَرَآءَpoorfuqarāaيُغْنِهِمُAllah will enrich themyugh'nihimuٱللَّهُAllah will enrich theml-lahuمِنfromminفَضْلِهِۦ ۗHis BountyfaḍlihiوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuوَٰسِعٌ(is) All-EncompassingwāsiʿunعَلِيمٌۭAll-Knowingʿalīmun٣٢
Mariez les célibataires d’entre vous et les gens de bien parmi vos esclaves, hommes et femmes . S’ils sont besogneux, Allah les rendra riches par Sa grâce. Car (la grâce d’) Allah est Immense et Il est Omniscient.
24:33
وَلْيَسْتَعْفِفِAnd let be chastewalyastaʿfifiٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaلَا(do) notlāيَجِدُونَfindyajidūnaنِكَاحًا(means for) marriagenikāḥanحَتَّىٰuntilḥattāيُغْنِيَهُمُAllah enriches themyugh'niyahumuٱللَّهُAllah enriches theml-lahuمِنfromminفَضْلِهِۦ ۗHis BountyfaḍlihiوَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaيَبْتَغُونَseekyabtaghūnaٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe writingl-kitābaمِمَّاfrom (those) whommimmāمَلَكَتْpossessmalakatأَيْمَـٰنُكُمْyour right handsaymānukumفَكَاتِبُوهُمْthen give them (the) writingfakātibūhumإِنْifinعَلِمْتُمْyou knowʿalim'tumفِيهِمْin themfīhimخَيْرًۭا ۖany goodkhayranوَءَاتُوهُمand give themwaātūhumمِّنfromminمَّالِthe wealth of Allahmāliٱللَّهِthe wealth of Allahl-lahiٱلَّذِىٓwhichalladhīءَاتَىٰكُمْ ۚHe has given youātākumوَلَاAnd (do) notwalāتُكْرِهُوا۟compeltuk'rihūفَتَيَـٰتِكُمْyour slave girlsfatayātikumعَلَىtoʿalāٱلْبِغَآءِ[the] prostitutionl-bighāiإِنْifinأَرَدْنَthey desirearadnaتَحَصُّنًۭاchastitytaḥaṣṣunanلِّتَبْتَغُوا۟that you may seeklitabtaghūعَرَضَtemporary gainʿaraḍaٱلْحَيَوٰةِ(of) the lifel-ḥayatiٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ(of) the worldl-dun'yāوَمَنAnd whoeverwamanيُكْرِههُّنَّcompels themyuk'rihhunnaفَإِنَّthen indeedfa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaمِنۢafterminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiإِكْرَٰهِهِنَّtheir compulsionik'rāhihinnaغَفُورٌۭ(is) Oft-ForgivingghafūrunرَّحِيمٌۭMost Mercifulraḥīmun٣٣
Et que ceux qui n’ont pas de quoi se marier, cherchent à rester chastes jusqu’à ce qu’Allah les enrichisse par Sa grâce. Et ceux de vos esclaves qui cherchent un contrat d’affranchissement, concluez ce contrat avec eux si vous reconnaissez du bien en eux; et donnez-leur des biens d’Allah qu’Il vous a accordés. Et dans votre recherche des profits passagers de la vie présente, ne contraignez pas vos femmes esclaves à la prostitution, si elles veulent rester chastes . Si on les y contraint, Allah leur accordera après qu’elles aient été contraintes, Son pardon et Sa miséricorde.
24:34
وَلَقَدْAnd verilywalaqadأَنزَلْنَآWe have sent downanzalnāإِلَيْكُمْto youilaykumءَايَـٰتٍۢVersesāyātinمُّبَيِّنَـٰتٍۢclearmubayyinātinوَمَثَلًۭاand an examplewamathalanمِّنَofminaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaخَلَوْا۟passed awaykhalawمِنbefore youminقَبْلِكُمْbefore youqablikumوَمَوْعِظَةًۭand an admonitionwamawʿiẓatanلِّلْمُتَّقِينَfor those who fear (Allah)lil'muttaqīna٣٤
Nous avons effectivement fait descendre vers vous des versets clairs, donnant une parabole de ceux qui ont vécu avant vous, et une exhortation pour les pieux!
24:35
۞ ٱللَّهُAllahal-lahuنُورُ(is the) Lightnūruٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚand the earthwal-arḍiمَثَلُ(The) examplemathaluنُورِهِۦ(of) His Lightnūrihiكَمِشْكَوٰةٍۢ(is) like a nichekamish'katinفِيهَاin itfīhāمِصْبَاحٌ ۖ(is) a lampmiṣ'bāḥunٱلْمِصْبَاحُthe lampl-miṣ'bāḥuفِى(is) infīزُجَاجَةٍ ۖa glasszujājatinٱلزُّجَاجَةُthe glassl-zujājatuكَأَنَّهَاas if it wereka-annahāكَوْكَبٌۭa starkawkabunدُرِّىٌّۭbrilliantdurriyyunيُوقَدُ(which) is lityūqaduمِنfromminشَجَرَةٍۢa treeshajaratinمُّبَـٰرَكَةٍۢblessed mubārakatinزَيْتُونَةٍۢan olivezaytūnatinلَّاnotlāشَرْقِيَّةٍۢ(of the) eastsharqiyyatinوَلَاand notwalāغَرْبِيَّةٍۢ(of the) westgharbiyyatinيَكَادُwould almostyakāduزَيْتُهَاits oilzaytuhāيُضِىٓءُglowyuḍīuوَلَوْeven ifwalawلَمْnotlamتَمْسَسْهُtouched ittamsashuنَارٌۭ ۚfirenārunنُّورٌLightnūrunعَلَىٰuponʿalāنُورٍۢ ۗLightnūrinيَهْدِىAllah guidesyahdīٱللَّهُAllah guidesl-lahuلِنُورِهِۦto His Lightlinūrihiمَنwhommanيَشَآءُ ۚHe willsyashāuوَيَضْرِبُAnd Allah sets forthwayaḍribuٱللَّهُAnd Allah sets forthl-lahuٱلْأَمْثَـٰلَthe examplesl-amthālaلِلنَّاسِ ۗfor the mankindlilnnāsiوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuبِكُلِّof everybikulliشَىْءٍthingshayinعَلِيمٌۭ(is) All-Knowerʿalīmun٣٥
Allah est la Lumière des cieux et de la terre. Sa lumière est semblable à une niche où se trouve une lampe. La lampe est dans un (récipient de) cristal et celui-ci ressemble à un astre de grand éclat ; son combustible vient d’un arbre béni: un olivier ni oriental ni occidental dont l’huile semble éclairer sans même que le feu la touche. Lumière sur lumière. Allah guide vers Sa lumière qui Il veut. Et Allah propose aux hommes des paraboles et Allah est Omniscient.
24:36
فِىInfīبُيُوتٍhousesbuyūtinأَذِنَ(which) Allah orderedadhinaٱللَّهُ(which) Allah orderedl-lahuأَنthatanتُرْفَعَthey be raisedtur'faʿaوَيُذْكَرَand be mentionedwayudh'karaفِيهَاin themfīhāٱسْمُهُۥHis nameus'muhuيُسَبِّحُGlorifyyusabbiḥuلَهُۥ[to] Himlahuفِيهَاin themfīhāبِٱلْغُدُوِّin the morningsbil-ghuduwiوَٱلْـَٔاصَالِand (in) the eveningswal-āṣāli٣٦
Dans des maisons [des mosquées] qu’Allah a permis que L’on élève, et où Son Nom est invoqué ; Le glorifient en elles matin et après- midi,
24:37
رِجَالٌۭMen rijālunلَّاnotlāتُلْهِيهِمْdistracts themtul'hīhimتِجَـٰرَةٌۭtradetijāratunوَلَاand notwalāبَيْعٌsalebayʿunعَنfromʿanذِكْرِ(the) remembrance of Allahdhik'riٱللَّهِ(the) remembrance of Allahl-lahiوَإِقَامِand (from) establishingwa-iqāmiٱلصَّلَوٰةِthe prayerl-ṣalatiوَإِيتَآءِand givingwaītāiٱلزَّكَوٰةِ ۙzakahl-zakatiيَخَافُونَThey fearyakhāfūnaيَوْمًۭاa Dayyawmanتَتَقَلَّبُwill turn abouttataqallabuفِيهِthereinfīhiٱلْقُلُوبُthe heartsl-qulūbuوَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُand the eyeswal-abṣāru٣٧
des hommes que ni le négoce, ni le troc ne distraient de l’invocation d’Allah, de l’accomplissement de la prière (As-Salât) et de l’acquittement de l’aumône (Az-Zakât), et qui redoutent un Jour où les cœurs seront bouleversés ainsi que les regards.
24:38
لِيَجْزِيَهُمُThat Allah may reward themliyajziyahumuٱللَّهُThat Allah may reward theml-lahuأَحْسَنَ(with the) bestaḥsanaمَا(of) whatmāعَمِلُوا۟they didʿamilūوَيَزِيدَهُمand increase themwayazīdahumمِّنfromminفَضْلِهِۦ ۗHis BountyfaḍlihiوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuيَرْزُقُprovidesyarzuquمَنwhommanيَشَآءُHe willsyashāuبِغَيْرِwithoutbighayriحِسَابٍۢmeasureḥisābin٣٨
Afin qu’Allah les récompense de la meilleure façon pour ce qu’ils ont fait [de bien]. Et Il leur ajoutera de Sa grâce. Et Allah attribue à qui Il veut sans compter.
24:39
وَٱلَّذِينَBut those whowa-alladhīnaكَفَرُوٓا۟disbelievekafarūأَعْمَـٰلُهُمْtheir deedsaʿmāluhumكَسَرَابٍۭ(are) like a miragekasarābinبِقِيعَةٍۢin a lowlandbiqīʿatinيَحْسَبُهُthinks ityaḥsabuhuٱلظَّمْـَٔانُthe thirsty onel-ẓamānuمَآءً(to be) watermāanحَتَّىٰٓuntilḥattāإِذَاwhenidhāجَآءَهُۥhe comes to itjāahuلَمْnotlamيَجِدْهُhe finds ityajid'huشَيْـًۭٔا(to be) anythingshayanوَوَجَدَbut he findswawajadaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaعِندَهُۥbefore himʿindahuفَوَفَّىٰهُHe will pay him in fullfawaffāhuحِسَابَهُۥ ۗhis dueḥisābahuوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuسَرِيعُ(is) swiftsarīʿuٱلْحِسَابِ(in) the accountl-ḥisābi٣٩
Quant à ceux qui ont mécru, leurs actions sont comme un mirage dans une plaine désertique que l’assoiffé prend pour de l’eau. Puis quand il y arrive, il s’aperçoit que ce n’était rien; mais y trouve Allah qui lui règle son compte en entier, car Allah est prompt à compter.
24:40
أَوْOrawكَظُلُمَـٰتٍۢ(is) like (the) darkness[es]kaẓulumātinفِىinfīبَحْرٍۢa seabaḥrinلُّجِّىٍّۢdeeplujjiyyinيَغْشَىٰهُcovers ityaghshāhuمَوْجٌۭa wavemawjunمِّنon itminفَوْقِهِۦon itfawqihiمَوْجٌۭa wavemawjunمِّنon itminفَوْقِهِۦon itfawqihiسَحَابٌۭ ۚa cloudsaḥābunظُلُمَـٰتٌۢdarkness[es]ẓulumātunبَعْضُهَاsome of itbaʿḍuhāفَوْقَonfawqaبَعْضٍothersbaʿḍinإِذَآWhenidhāأَخْرَجَhe puts outakhrajaيَدَهُۥhis handyadahuلَمْhardlylamيَكَدْhardlyyakadيَرَىٰهَا ۗhe (can) see ityarāhāوَمَنAnd (for) whomwamanلَّمْnotlamيَجْعَلِAllah (has) madeyajʿaliٱللَّهُAllah (has) madel-lahuلَهُۥfor himlahuنُورًۭاa lightnūranفَمَاthen notfamāلَهُۥfor himlahuمِن(is) anyminنُّورٍlightnūrin٤٠
[Les actions des mécréants] sont encore semblables à des ténèbres sur une mer profonde : des vagues la recouvrent, [vagues] au-dessus desquelles s’élèvent [d’autres] vagues, sur lesquelles il y a [d’épais] nuages. Ténèbres [entassées] les unes au-dessus des autres. Quand quelqu’un étend la main, il ne la distingue presque pas. Et celui qu’Allah prive de lumière n’a aucune lumière.
24:41
أَلَمْDo notalamتَرَyou seetaraأَنَّthatannaٱللَّهَAllah l-lahaيُسَبِّحُglorifyyusabbiḥuلَهُۥHimlahuمَنwhoevermanفِى(is) infīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِand the earthwal-arḍiوَٱلطَّيْرُand the birdswal-ṭayruصَـٰٓفَّـٰتٍۢ ۖ(with) wings outspreadṣāffātinكُلٌّۭEach onekullunقَدْverilyqadعَلِمَknowsʿalimaصَلَاتَهُۥits prayerṣalātahuوَتَسْبِيحَهُۥ ۗand its glorificationwatasbīḥahuوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuعَلِيمٌۢ(is) All-Knowerʿalīmunبِمَاof whatbimāيَفْعَلُونَthey doyafʿalūna٤١
N’as-tu pas vu qu’Allah est glorifié par tous ceux qui sont dans les cieux et la Terre ; ainsi que par les oiseaux déployant leurs ailes ? Chacun, certes, a appris sa façon de L’adorer et de Le glorifier. Et Allah sait parfaitement ce qu’ils font.
24:42
وَلِلَّهِAnd to Allah (belongs)walillahiمُلْكُ(the) dominionmul'kuٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖand the earthwal-arḍiوَإِلَىAnd towa-ilāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiٱلْمَصِيرُ(is) the destinationl-maṣīru٤٢
C’est à Allah qu’appartient la royauté des cieux et de la Terre. Et vers Allah sera le retour final.
24:43
أَلَمْDo notalamتَرَyou seetaraأَنَّthatannaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيُزْجِىdrivesyuz'jīسَحَابًۭاcloudssaḥābanثُمَّthenthummaيُؤَلِّفُjoinsyu-allifuبَيْنَهُۥbetween thembaynahuثُمَّthenthummaيَجْعَلُهُۥmakes themyajʿaluhuرُكَامًۭا(into) a massrukāmanفَتَرَىthen you seefatarāٱلْوَدْقَthe rainl-wadqaيَخْرُجُcome forthyakhrujuمِنْfromminخِلَـٰلِهِۦtheir midstkhilālihiوَيُنَزِّلُAnd He sends downwayunazziluمِنَfromminaٱلسَّمَآءِ(the) skyl-samāiمِن[from]minجِبَالٍۢmountainsjibālinفِيهَاwithin itfīhāمِنۢ[of]minبَرَدٍۢ(is) hailbaradinفَيُصِيبُand He strikesfayuṣībuبِهِۦwith itbihiمَنwhommanيَشَآءُHe willsyashāuوَيَصْرِفُهُۥand averts itwayaṣrifuhuعَنfromʿanمَّنwhommanيَشَآءُ ۖHe willsyashāuيَكَادُNearlyyakāduسَنَا(the) flashsanāبَرْقِهِۦ(of) its lightingbarqihiيَذْهَبُtakes awayyadhhabuبِٱلْأَبْصَـٰرِthe sightbil-abṣāri٤٣
N’as-tu pas vu qu’Allah pousse les nuages ? Ensuite, Il les réunit et Il en fait un amas, et tu vois la pluie sortir de son sein. Et Il fait descendre du ciel, de la grêle [provenant] des nuages [comparables] à des montagnes. Il en frappe qui Il veut et l’écarte de qui Il veut. Peu s’en faut que l’éclat de son éclair ne ravisse la vue.
24:44
يُقَلِّبُAllah alternatesyuqallibuٱللَّهُAllah alternatesl-lahuٱلَّيْلَthe nightal-laylaوَٱلنَّهَارَ ۚand the daywal-nahāraإِنَّIndeedinnaفِىinfīذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaلَعِبْرَةًۭsurely is a lessonlaʿib'ratanلِّأُو۟لِىfor those who have visionli-ulīٱلْأَبْصَـٰرِfor those who have visionl-abṣāri٤٤
Allah fait alterner la nuit et le jour. Il y a là un sujet de réflexion pour ceux qui sont clairvoyants.
24:45
وَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuخَلَقَcreatedkhalaqaكُلَّeverykullaدَآبَّةٍۢmoving creaturedābbatinمِّنfromminمَّآءٍۢ ۖwatermāinفَمِنْهُمOf themfamin'humمَّن(is a kind) whomanيَمْشِىwalksyamshīعَلَىٰonʿalāبَطْنِهِۦits bellybaṭnihiوَمِنْهُمand of themwamin'humمَّن(is a kind) whomanيَمْشِىwalksyamshīعَلَىٰonʿalāرِجْلَيْنِtwo legsrij'layniوَمِنْهُمand of themwamin'humمَّن(is a kind) whomanيَمْشِىwalksyamshīعَلَىٰٓonʿalāأَرْبَعٍۢ ۚfourarbaʿinيَخْلُقُAllah createsyakhluquٱللَّهُAllah createsl-lahuمَاwhatmāيَشَآءُ ۚHe willsyashāuإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaعَلَىٰonʿalāكُلِّeverykulliشَىْءٍۢthingshayinقَدِيرٌۭ(is) All-Powerfulqadīrun٤٥
Et Allah a créé d’eau tout animal . Il y en a qui marche sur le ventre, d’autres marchent sur deux pattes, et d’autres encore marchent sur quatre. Allah créé ce qu’Il veut car Allah est Omnipotent.
24:46
لَّقَدْVerilylaqadأَنزَلْنَآWe have sent downanzalnāءَايَـٰتٍۢVersesāyātinمُّبَيِّنَـٰتٍۢ ۚclearmubayyinātinوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuيَهْدِىguidesyahdīمَنwhommanيَشَآءُHe willsyashāuإِلَىٰtoilāصِرَٰطٍۢa pathṣirāṭinمُّسْتَقِيمٍۢstraightmus'taqīmin٤٦
Nous avons certes fait descendre des versets explicites. Et Allah guide qui Il veut vers un droit chemin.
24:47
وَيَقُولُونَAnd they saywayaqūlūnaءَامَنَّاWe believeāmannāبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiوَبِٱلرَّسُولِand in the Messengerwabil-rasūliوَأَطَعْنَاand we obeywa-aṭaʿnāثُمَّThenthummaيَتَوَلَّىٰturns awayyatawallāفَرِيقٌۭa partyfarīqunمِّنْهُمof themmin'humمِّنۢafterminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiذَٰلِكَ ۚthatdhālikaوَمَآAnd notwamāأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthoseulāikaبِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ(are) believersbil-mu'minīna٤٧
Et ils disent : "Nous croyons en Allah et au Messager et nous obéissons." Puis, après cela, une partie d’entre eux fait volte-face. Et ce ne sont point ceux-là les croyants.
24:48
وَإِذَاAnd whenwa-idhāدُعُوٓا۟they are calledduʿūإِلَىtoilāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَرَسُولِهِۦand His Messengerwarasūlihiلِيَحْكُمَto judgeliyaḥkumaبَيْنَهُمْbetween thembaynahumإِذَاbeholdidhāفَرِيقٌۭa partyfarīqunمِّنْهُمof themmin'humمُّعْرِضُونَ(is) aversemuʿ'riḍūna٤٨
Et quand on les appelle vers Allah et Son Messager pour que celui-ci juge parmi eux, voilà que quelques-uns d’entre eux se détournent.
24:49
وَإِنBut ifwa-inيَكُنisyakunلَّهُمُwith themlahumuٱلْحَقُّthe truthl-ḥaquيَأْتُوٓا۟they comeyatūإِلَيْهِto himilayhiمُذْعِنِينَ(as) promptly obedientmudh'ʿinīna٤٩
Mais s’ils ont le droit en leur faveur, ils viennent à lui, soumis.
24:50
أَفِىIs (there) inafīقُلُوبِهِمtheir heartsqulūbihimمَّرَضٌa diseasemaraḍunأَمِoramiٱرْتَابُوٓا۟do they doubtir'tābūأَمْoramيَخَافُونَthey fearyakhāfūnaأَنthatanيَحِيفَAllah will be unjustyaḥīfaٱللَّهُAllah will be unjustl-lahuعَلَيْهِمْto themʿalayhimوَرَسُولُهُۥ ۚand His MessengerwarasūluhuبَلْNaybalأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthoseulāikaهُمُ[they]humuٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ(are) the wrongdoersl-ẓālimūna٥٠
Y a-t-il une maladie dans leurs cœurs ? Ou doutent-ils ? Ou craignent-ils qu’Allah les opprime, ainsi que Son Messager ? Non ! Plutôt, ce sont eux les injustes.
24:51
إِنَّمَاOnlyinnamāكَانَiskānaقَوْلَ(the) statementqawlaٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ(of) the believersl-mu'minīnaإِذَاwhenidhāدُعُوٓا۟they are calledduʿūإِلَىtoilāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَرَسُولِهِۦand His Messengerwarasūlihiلِيَحْكُمَto judgeliyaḥkumaبَيْنَهُمْbetween thembaynahumأَن(is) thatanيَقُولُوا۟they sayyaqūlūسَمِعْنَاWe hearsamiʿ'nāوَأَطَعْنَا ۚand we obeywa-aṭaʿnāوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَAnd thosewa-ulāikaهُمُ[they]humuٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ(are) the successfull-muf'liḥūna٥١
La seule parole des croyants, quand on les appelle vers Allah et Son Messager, pour que celui-ci juge parmi eux, est : "Nous avons entendu et nous avons obéi." Et voilà ceux qui réussissent.
24:52
وَمَنAnd whoeverwamanيُطِعِobeysyuṭiʿiٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaوَرَسُولَهُۥand His Messengerwarasūlahuوَيَخْشَand fearswayakhshaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaوَيَتَّقْهِand (is) conscious of Himwayattaqhiفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthen thosefa-ulāikaهُمُ[they]humuٱلْفَآئِزُونَ(are) the successful onesl-fāizūna٥٢
Et quiconque obéit à Allah et à Son Messager, et craint Allah et Le redoute... alors, voilà ceux qui récoltent le succès.
24:53
۞ وَأَقْسَمُوا۟And they swearwa-aqsamūبِٱللَّهِby Allahbil-lahiجَهْدَstrongjahdaأَيْمَـٰنِهِمْtheir oathsaymānihimلَئِنْthat ifla-inأَمَرْتَهُمْyou ordered themamartahumلَيَخْرُجُنَّ ۖsurely they (would) go forthlayakhrujunnaقُلSayqulلَّا(Do) notlāتُقْسِمُوا۟ ۖsweartuq'simūطَاعَةٌۭObedienceṭāʿatunمَّعْرُوفَةٌ ۚ(is) knownmaʿrūfatunإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaخَبِيرٌۢ(is) All-Awarekhabīrunبِمَاof whatbimāتَعْمَلُونَyou dotaʿmalūna٥٣
Et ils jurent par Allah en serments solennels que si tu le leur ordonnais, ils sortiraient à coup sûr (au combat). Dis : "Ne jurez donc pas. [Votre] obéissance [verbale] est bien connue. Allah est Parfaitement Informé de ce que vous faites."
24:54
قُلْSayqulأَطِيعُوا۟ObeyaṭīʿūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaوَأَطِيعُوا۟and obeywa-aṭīʿūٱلرَّسُولَ ۖthe Messengerl-rasūlaفَإِنbut iffa-inتَوَلَّوْا۟you turn awaytawallawفَإِنَّمَاthen onlyfa-innamāعَلَيْهِupon himʿalayhiمَا(is) whatmāحُمِّلَ(is) placed on himḥummilaوَعَلَيْكُمand on youwaʿalaykumمَّا(is) whatmāحُمِّلْتُمْ ۖ(is) placed on youḥummil'tumوَإِنAnd ifwa-inتُطِيعُوهُyou obey himtuṭīʿūhuتَهْتَدُوا۟ ۚyou will be guidedtahtadūوَمَاAnd notwamāعَلَى(is) onʿalāٱلرَّسُولِthe Messengerl-rasūliإِلَّاexceptillāٱلْبَلَـٰغُthe conveyancel-balāghuٱلْمُبِينُ[the] clearl-mubīnu٥٤
Dis : “Obéissez à Allah et obéissez au Messager. S’ils se détournent, ... il [le Messager] n’est alors responsable que de ce dont il est chargé; et vous assumerez ce dont vous êtes chargés. Et si vous lui obéissez, vous serez bien guidés.” Et il n’incombe au Messager que de transmettre explicitement (son message) .
24:55
وَعَدَAllah (has) promisedwaʿadaٱللَّهُAllah (has) promisedl-lahuٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūمِنكُمْamong youminkumوَعَمِلُوا۟and dowaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِrighteous deedsl-ṣāliḥātiلَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْsurely He will grant them successionlayastakhlifannahumفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiكَمَاaskamāٱسْتَخْلَفَHe gave successionis'takhlafaٱلَّذِينَto those whoalladhīnaمِن(were) before themminقَبْلِهِمْ(were) before themqablihimوَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّand that He will surely establishwalayumakkinannaلَهُمْfor themlahumدِينَهُمُtheir religiondīnahumuٱلَّذِىwhichalladhīٱرْتَضَىٰHe has approvedir'taḍāلَهُمْfor themlahumوَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُمand surely He will change for themwalayubaddilannahumمِّنۢafterminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiخَوْفِهِمْtheir fearkhawfihimأَمْنًۭا ۚsecurityamnanيَعْبُدُونَنِى(for) they worship Meyaʿbudūnanīلَاnotlāيُشْرِكُونَthey associateyush'rikūnaبِىwith Mebīشَيْـًۭٔا ۚanythingshayanوَمَنBut whoeverwamanكَفَرَdisbelievedkafaraبَعْدَafterbaʿdaذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthen thosefa-ulāikaهُمُ[they]humuٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ(are) the defiantly disobedientl-fāsiqūna٥٥
Allah a promis à ceux d’entre vous qui ont cru et fait de bonnes œuvres qu’Il leur donnerait la succession sur Terre comme Il l’a donnée à ceux qui les ont précédés. Il donnerait force et suprématie à leur religion qu’Il a agréée pour eux. Et Il leur changerait leur ancienne peur en sécurité. Ils M’adorent et ne M’associent rien et quiconque mécroit par la suite, alors ce sont ceux-là les pervers.
24:56
وَأَقِيمُوا۟And establishwa-aqīmūٱلصَّلَوٰةَthe prayerl-ṣalataوَءَاتُوا۟and givewaātūٱلزَّكَوٰةَzakahl-zakataوَأَطِيعُوا۟and obeywa-aṭīʿūٱلرَّسُولَthe Messengerl-rasūlaلَعَلَّكُمْso that you maylaʿallakumتُرْحَمُونَreceive mercytur'ḥamūna٥٦
Accomplissez la Ṣalāt, acquittez la Zakāt et obéissez au messager, afin que vous ayez la miséricorde.
24:57
لَا(Do) notlāتَحْسَبَنَّthinktaḥsabannaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūمُعْجِزِينَ(can) escapemuʿ'jizīnaفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِ ۚthe earthl-arḍiوَمَأْوَىٰهُمُAnd their abodewamawāhumuٱلنَّارُ ۖ(will be) the Firel-nāruوَلَبِئْسَand wretched iswalabi'saٱلْمَصِيرُthe destinationl-maṣīru٥٧
Ne pense point que ceux qui ne croient pas puissent s’opposer à l’autorité d’Allah sur terre. Le Feu sera leur refuge. Quelle mauvaise destination.
24:58
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO you who believeyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَO you who believealladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟O you who believeāmanūلِيَسْتَـْٔذِنكُمُLet ask your permissionliyastadhinkumuٱلَّذِينَthose whomalladhīnaمَلَكَتْpossessmalakatأَيْمَـٰنُكُمْyour right handsaymānukumوَٱلَّذِينَand those whowa-alladhīnaلَمْ(have) notlamيَبْلُغُوا۟reachedyablughūٱلْحُلُمَpubertyl-ḥulumaمِنكُمْamong youminkumثَلَـٰثَ(at) threethalāthaمَرَّٰتٍۢ ۚtimesmarrātinمِّنbeforeminقَبْلِbeforeqabliصَلَوٰةِ(the) prayerṣalatiٱلْفَجْرِ(of) dawnl-fajriوَحِينَand whenwaḥīnaتَضَعُونَyou put asidetaḍaʿūnaثِيَابَكُمyour garmentsthiyābakumمِّنَatminaٱلظَّهِيرَةِnoonl-ẓahīratiوَمِنۢand afterwaminبَعْدِand afterbaʿdiصَلَوٰةِ(the) prayerṣalatiٱلْعِشَآءِ ۚ(of) nightl-ʿishāiثَلَـٰثُ(These) threethalāthuعَوْرَٰتٍۢ(are) times of privacyʿawrātinلَّكُمْ ۚfor youlakumلَيْسَNotlaysaعَلَيْكُمْon youʿalaykumوَلَاand notwalāعَلَيْهِمْon themʿalayhimجُنَاحٌۢany blamejunāḥunبَعْدَهُنَّ ۚafter thatbaʿdahunnaطَوَّٰفُونَ(as) moving aboutṭawwāfūnaعَلَيْكُمamong youʿalaykumبَعْضُكُمْsome of youbaʿḍukumعَلَىٰamongʿalāبَعْضٍۢ ۚothersbaʿḍinكَذَٰلِكَThuskadhālikaيُبَيِّنُAllah makes clearyubayyinuٱللَّهُAllah makes clearl-lahuلَكُمُfor youlakumuٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ ۗthe Versesl-āyātiوَٱللَّهُand Allahwal-lahuعَلِيمٌ(is) All-KnowerʿalīmunحَكِيمٌۭAll-Wiseḥakīmun٥٨
Ô vous qui avez cru ! Que les esclaves que vous possédez vous demandent permission avant d’entrer, ainsi que ceux des vôtres qui n’ont pas encore atteint la puberté, à trois moments: avant la prière de l’aube (Salât Al Fajr), à midi quand vous enlevez vos vêtements, ainsi qu’après la prière de la nuit (Salât Al ‘Ichâ’) ; trois occasions de vous dévêtir. En dehors de ces moments, nul reproche ni à vous ni à eux d’aller et venir, les uns chez les autres. C’est ainsi qu’Allah vous expose clairement Ses versets, et Allah est Omniscient et Sage.
24:59
وَإِذَاAnd whenwa-idhāبَلَغَreachbalaghaٱلْأَطْفَـٰلُthe childrenl-aṭfāluمِنكُمُamong youminkumuٱلْحُلُمَthe pubertyl-ḥulumaفَلْيَسْتَـْٔذِنُوا۟then let them ask permissionfalyastadhinūكَمَاaskamāٱسْتَـْٔذَنَasked permissionis'tadhanaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaمِن(were) before themminقَبْلِهِمْ ۚ(were) before themqablihimكَذَٰلِكَThuskadhālikaيُبَيِّنُAllah makes clearyubayyinuٱللَّهُAllah makes clearl-lahuلَكُمْfor youlakumءَايَـٰتِهِۦ ۗHis VersesāyātihiوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuعَلِيمٌ(is) All-KnowerʿalīmunحَكِيمٌۭAll-Wiseḥakīmun٥٩
Et quand les enfants parmi vous atteignent la puberté, qu’ils demandent permission avant d’entrer, comme font leurs aînés. C’est ainsi qu’Allah vous expose clairement Ses versets, et Allah est Omniscient et Sage.
24:60
وَٱلْقَوَٰعِدُAnd postmenopausalwal-qawāʿiduمِنَamongminaٱلنِّسَآءِthe womenl-nisāiٱلَّـٰتِىwhoallātīلَا(do) notlāيَرْجُونَhave desireyarjūnaنِكَاحًۭا(for) marriagenikāḥanفَلَيْسَthen not isfalaysaعَلَيْهِنَّon themʿalayhinnaجُنَاحٌany blamejunāḥunأَنthatanيَضَعْنَthey put asideyaḍaʿnaثِيَابَهُنَّtheir (outer) garmentsthiyābahunnaغَيْرَnotghayraمُتَبَرِّجَـٰتٍۭdisplayingmutabarrijātinبِزِينَةٍۢ ۖtheir adornmentbizīnatinوَأَنAnd thatwa-anيَسْتَعْفِفْنَthey modestly refrainyastaʿfif'naخَيْرٌۭ(is) betterkhayrunلَّهُنَّ ۗfor themlahunnaوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuسَمِيعٌ(is) All-HearersamīʿunعَلِيمٌۭAll-Knowerʿalīmun٦٠
Et quant aux femmes atteintes par la ménopause qui n’espèrent plus le mariage, nul reproche à elles d’enlever leurs vêtements de [sortie], sans cependant exhiber leurs atours et si elles cherchent la chasteté c’est mieux pour elles. Et Allah est Audient et Omniscient.
24:61
لَّيْسَNot islaysaعَلَىonʿalāٱلْأَعْمَىٰthe blindl-aʿmāحَرَجٌۭany blameḥarajunوَلَاand notwalāعَلَىonʿalāٱلْأَعْرَجِthe lamel-aʿrajiحَرَجٌۭany blameḥarajunوَلَاand notwalāعَلَىonʿalāٱلْمَرِيضِthe sickl-marīḍiحَرَجٌۭany blameḥarajunوَلَاand notwalāعَلَىٰٓonʿalāأَنفُسِكُمْyourselvesanfusikumأَنthatanتَأْكُلُوا۟you eattakulūمِنۢfromminبُيُوتِكُمْyour housesbuyūtikumأَوْorawبُيُوتِhousesbuyūtiءَابَآئِكُمْ(of) your fathersābāikumأَوْorawبُيُوتِhousesbuyūtiأُمَّهَـٰتِكُمْ(of) your mothersummahātikumأَوْorawبُيُوتِhousesbuyūtiإِخْوَٰنِكُمْ(of) your brothersikh'wānikumأَوْorawبُيُوتِhousesbuyūtiأَخَوَٰتِكُمْ(of) your sistersakhawātikumأَوْorawبُيُوتِhousesbuyūtiأَعْمَـٰمِكُمْ(of) your paternal unclesaʿmāmikumأَوْorawبُيُوتِhousesbuyūtiعَمَّـٰتِكُمْ(of) your paternal auntsʿammātikumأَوْorawبُيُوتِhousesbuyūtiأَخْوَٰلِكُمْ(of) your maternal unclesakhwālikumأَوْorawبُيُوتِhousesbuyūtiخَـٰلَـٰتِكُمْ(of) your maternal auntskhālātikumأَوْorawمَاwhatmāمَلَكْتُمyou possessmalaktumمَّفَاتِحَهُۥٓits keysmafātiḥahuأَوْorawصَدِيقِكُمْ ۚyour friendṣadīqikumلَيْسَNot islaysaعَلَيْكُمْon youʿalaykumجُنَاحٌany blamejunāḥunأَنthatanتَأْكُلُوا۟you eattakulūجَمِيعًاtogetherjamīʿanأَوْorawأَشْتَاتًۭا ۚseparatelyashtātanفَإِذَاBut whenfa-idhāدَخَلْتُمyou enterdakhaltumبُيُوتًۭاhousesbuyūtanفَسَلِّمُوا۟then greetfasallimūعَلَىٰٓ[on]ʿalāأَنفُسِكُمْyourselvesanfusikumتَحِيَّةًۭa greetingtaḥiyyatanمِّنْfromminعِندِfromʿindiٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiمُبَـٰرَكَةًۭblessedmubārakatanطَيِّبَةًۭ ۚ(and) goodṭayyibatanكَذَٰلِكَThuskadhālikaيُبَيِّنُAllah makes clearyubayyinuٱللَّهُAllah makes clearl-lahuلَكُمُfor youlakumuٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِthe Versesl-āyātiلَعَلَّكُمْso that you maylaʿallakumتَعْقِلُونَunderstandtaʿqilūna٦١
Il n’y a pas d’empêchement à l’aveugle, au boiteux, au malade, ainsi qu’à vous-mêmes de manger dans vos maisons, ou dans les maisons de vos pères, ou dans celles de vos mères, ou de vos frères, ou de vos sœurs, ou de vos oncles paternels, ou de vos tantes paternelles ou de vos oncles maternels, ou de vos tantes maternelles, ou dans celles dont vous possédez les clefs, ou chez vos amis. Nul empêchement à vous, non plus, de manger ensemble, ou séparément. Quand donc vous entrez dans des maisons, adressez-vous mutuellement des salutations venant d’Allah, bénies et agréables. C’est ainsi qu’Allah vous expose Ses versets, afin que vous compreniez .
24:62
إِنَّمَاOnlyinnamāٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَthe believersl-mu'minūnaٱلَّذِينَ(are) those whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiوَرَسُولِهِۦand His Messengerwarasūlihiوَإِذَاand whenwa-idhāكَانُوا۟they arekānūمَعَهُۥwith himmaʿahuعَلَىٰٓforʿalāأَمْرٍۢa matteramrinجَامِعٍۢ(of) collective actionjāmiʿinلَّمْnotlamيَذْهَبُوا۟they goyadhhabūحَتَّىٰuntilḥattāيَسْتَـْٔذِنُوهُ ۚthey (have) asked his permissionyastadhinūhuإِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaيَسْتَـْٔذِنُونَكَask your permissionyastadhinūnakaأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthoseulāikaٱلَّذِينَ[those who]alladhīnaيُؤْمِنُونَbelieveyu'minūnaبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiوَرَسُولِهِۦ ۚand His MessengerwarasūlihiفَإِذَاSo whenfa-idhāٱسْتَـْٔذَنُوكَthey ask your permissionis'tadhanūkaلِبَعْضِfor somelibaʿḍiشَأْنِهِمْaffair of theirsshanihimفَأْذَنthen give permissionfadhanلِّمَنto whomlimanشِئْتَyou willshi'taمِنْهُمْamong themmin'humوَٱسْتَغْفِرْand ask forgivenesswa-is'taghfirلَهُمُfor themlahumuٱللَّهَ ۚ(of) Allahl-lahaإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaغَفُورٌۭ(is) Oft-ForgivingghafūrunرَّحِيمٌۭMost Mercifulraḥīmun٦٢
Les vrais croyants sont ceux qui croient en Allah et en Son Messager, et qui, lorsqu’ils sont en sa compagnie pour une affaire d’intérêt général, ne s’en vont pas avant de lui avoir demandé la permission. Ceux qui te demandent cette permission sont ceux qui croient en Allah et en Son Messager. Si donc ils te demandent la permission pour une affaire personnelle, alors donne-la à qui tu veux d’entre eux; et implore le pardon d’Allah pour eux, car Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.
24:63
لَّا(Do) notlāتَجْعَلُوا۟maketajʿalūدُعَآءَ(the) callingduʿāaٱلرَّسُولِ(of) the Messengerl-rasūliبَيْنَكُمْamong youbaynakumكَدُعَآءِas (the) callkaduʿāiبَعْضِكُم(of) some of youbaʿḍikumبَعْضًۭا ۚ(to) othersbaʿḍanقَدْVerilyqadيَعْلَمُAllah knowsyaʿlamuٱللَّهُAllah knowsl-lahuٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaيَتَسَلَّلُونَslip awayyatasallalūnaمِنكُمْamong youminkumلِوَاذًۭا ۚunder shelterliwādhanفَلْيَحْذَرِSo let bewarefalyaḥdhariٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaيُخَالِفُونَopposeyukhālifūnaعَنْ[from]ʿanأَمْرِهِۦٓhis ordersamrihiأَنlestanتُصِيبَهُمْbefalls themtuṣībahumفِتْنَةٌa trialfit'natunأَوْorawيُصِيبَهُمْbefalls themyuṣībahumعَذَابٌa punishmentʿadhābunأَلِيمٌpainfulalīmun٦٣
Ne considérez pas l’appel du Messager comme un appel que vous vous adresseriez les uns aux autres. Allah connaît certes ceux des vôtres qui s’en vont secrètement en s’entrecachant. Que ceux, donc, qui s’opposent à son commandement prennent garde qu’une épreuve ne les atteigne, ou que ne les atteigne un châtiment douloureux.
24:64
أَلَآNo doubtalāإِنَّIndeedinnaلِلَّهِto Allah (belongs)lillahiمَاwhatevermāفِى(is) infīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖand the earthwal-arḍiقَدْVerilyqadيَعْلَمُHe knowsyaʿlamuمَآwhatmāأَنتُمْyouantumعَلَيْهِ(are) on [it]ʿalayhiوَيَوْمَAnd (the) Daywayawmaيُرْجَعُونَthey will be returnedyur'jaʿūnaإِلَيْهِto Himilayhiفَيُنَبِّئُهُمthen He will inform themfayunabbi-uhumبِمَاof whatbimāعَمِلُوا۟ ۗthey didʿamilūوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuبِكُلِّof everybikulliشَىْءٍthingshayinعَلِيمٌۢ(is) All-Knowerʿalīmun٦٤
C’est à Allah, vraiment, qu’appartient tout ce qui est dans les cieux et sur la terre. Il sait parfaitement l’état dans lequel vous êtes, et le Jour où les hommes seront ramenés vers Lui, Il les informera alors de ce qu’ils œuvraient. Allah est Omniscient.
