In (the) name

In (the) name ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ the Most Gracious l-raḥmāni
the Most Gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِ the Most Merciful l-raḥīmi
the Most Merciful
In (the) name ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ the Most Gracious l-raḥmāni
the Most Gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِ the Most Merciful l-raḥīmi
the Most Merciful
Dengan nama Allah Yang Maha Pemurah, Maha Penyayang
55:1
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ
The Most Gracious
al-raḥmānu
The Most Gracious ١ (1)

(1)
(Tuhan) Yang Maha Pemurah serta melimpah-limpah rahmatNya.
55:2
عَلَّمَ
He taught
ʿallama
He taught ٱلْقُرْءَانَ the Quran l-qur'āna
the Quran ٢ (2)
(2)
He taught ٱلْقُرْءَانَ the Quran l-qur'āna
the Quran ٢ (2)
(2)
Dia lah yang telah mengajarkan Al-Quran.
55:3
خَلَقَ
He created
khalaqa
He created ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ [the] man l-insāna
[the] man ٣ (3)
(3)
He created ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ [the] man l-insāna
[the] man ٣ (3)
(3)
Dia lah yang telah menciptakan manusia; -
55:4
عَلَّمَهُ
He taught him
ʿallamahu
He taught him ٱلْبَيَانَ [the] speech l-bayāna
[the] speech ٤ (4)
(4)
He taught him ٱلْبَيَانَ [the] speech l-bayāna
[the] speech ٤ (4)
(4)
Dia lah yang telah membolehkan manusia (bertutur) memberi dan menerima kenyataan.
55:5
ٱلشَّمْسُ
The sun
al-shamsu
The sun وَٱلْقَمَرُ and the moon wal-qamaru
and the moon بِحُسْبَانٍۢ by (precise) calculation biḥus'bānin
by (precise) calculation ٥ (5)

The sun وَٱلْقَمَرُ and the moon wal-qamaru
and the moon بِحُسْبَانٍۢ by (precise) calculation biḥus'bānin
by (precise) calculation ٥ (5)
(5)
Matahari dan bulan beredar dengan peraturan dan hitungan yang tertentu;
55:6
وَٱلنَّجْمُ
And the stars
wal-najmu
And the stars وَٱلشَّجَرُ and the trees wal-shajaru
and the trees يَسْجُدَانِ both prostrate yasjudāni
both prostrate ٦ (6)
(6)
And the stars وَٱلشَّجَرُ and the trees wal-shajaru
and the trees يَسْجُدَانِ both prostrate yasjudāni
both prostrate ٦ (6)
(6)
Dan tumbuh-tumbuhan yang melata serta pohon-pohon kayu-kayan, masing-masing tunduk menurut peraturanNya.
55:7
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ
And the heaven
wal-samāa
And the heaven رَفَعَهَا He raised it rafaʿahā
He raised it وَوَضَعَ and He has set up wawaḍaʿa
and He has set up ٱلْمِيزَانَ the balance l-mīzāna
the balance ٧ (7)
(7)
And the heaven رَفَعَهَا He raised it rafaʿahā
He raised it وَوَضَعَ and He has set up wawaḍaʿa
and He has set up ٱلْمِيزَانَ the balance l-mīzāna
the balance ٧ (7)
(7)
Dan langit dijadikannya (bumbung) tinggi, serta Ia mengadakan undang-undang dan peraturan neraca keadilan,
55:8
أَلَّا
That not
allā
That not تَطْغَوْا۟ you may transgress taṭghaw
you may transgress فِى in fī
in ٱلْمِيزَانِ the balance l-mīzāni
the balance ٨ (8)
(8)
That not تَطْغَوْا۟ you may transgress taṭghaw
you may transgress فِى in fī
in ٱلْمِيزَانِ the balance l-mīzāni
the balance ٨ (8)
(8)
Supaya kamu tidak melampaui batas dalam menjalankan keadilan;
55:9
وَأَقِيمُوا۟
And establish
wa-aqīmū
And establish ٱلْوَزْنَ the weight l-wazna
the weight بِٱلْقِسْطِ in justice bil-qis'ṭi
in justice وَلَا and (do) not walā
and (do) not تُخْسِرُوا۟ make deficient tukh'sirū
make deficient ٱلْمِيزَانَ the balance l-mīzāna
the balance ٩ (9)
(9)
And establish ٱلْوَزْنَ the weight l-wazna
the weight بِٱلْقِسْطِ in justice bil-qis'ṭi
in justice وَلَا and (do) not walā
and (do) not تُخْسِرُوا۟ make deficient tukh'sirū
make deficient ٱلْمِيزَانَ the balance l-mīzāna
the balance ٩ (9)
(9)
Dan betulkanlah cara menimbang itu dengan adil, serta janganlah kamu mengurangi barang yang ditimbang.
55:10
وَٱلْأَرْضَ
And the earth
wal-arḍa
And the earth وَضَعَهَا He laid it waḍaʿahā
He laid it لِلْأَنَامِ for the creatures lil'anāmi
for the creatures ١٠ (10)

And the earth وَضَعَهَا He laid it waḍaʿahā
He laid it لِلْأَنَامِ for the creatures lil'anāmi
for the creatures ١٠ (10)
(10)
Dan bumi pula dijadikannya rata untuk kegunaan manusia dan makhluk-makhlukNya yang lain:
55:11
فِيهَا
Therein
fīhā
Therein فَـٰكِهَةٌۭ (is) fruit fākihatun
(is) fruit وَٱلنَّخْلُ and date-palms wal-nakhlu
and date-palms ذَاتُ having dhātu
having ٱلْأَكْمَامِ sheaths l-akmāmi
sheaths ١١ (11)
(11)
Therein فَـٰكِهَةٌۭ (is) fruit fākihatun
(is) fruit وَٱلنَّخْلُ and date-palms wal-nakhlu
and date-palms ذَاتُ having dhātu
having ٱلْأَكْمَامِ sheaths l-akmāmi
sheaths ١١ (11)
(11)
Terdapat padanya berbagai jenis buah-buahan dan pohon-pohon kurma yang ada kelopak-kelopak mayang;
55:12
وَٱلْحَبُّ
And the grain
wal-ḥabu
And the grain ذُو having dhū
having ٱلْعَصْفِ husk l-ʿaṣfi
husk وَٱلرَّيْحَانُ and scented plants wal-rayḥānu
and scented plants ١٢ (12)
(12)
And the grain ذُو having dhū
having ٱلْعَصْفِ husk l-ʿaṣfi
husk وَٱلرَّيْحَانُ and scented plants wal-rayḥānu
and scented plants ١٢ (12)
(12)
Demikian juga terdapat biji-bijian yang ada jerami serta daun, dan terdapat lagi bunga-bungaan yang harum;
55:13
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
fabi-ayyi
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ١٣ (13)
(13)
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ١٣ (13)
(13)
Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat Tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan (wahai umat manusia dan jin)?
55:14
خَلَقَ
He created
khalaqa
He created ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ the man l-insāna
the man مِن from min
from صَلْصَـٰلٍۢ clay ṣalṣālin
clay كَٱلْفَخَّارِ like the pottery kal-fakhāri
like the pottery ١٤ (14)
(14)
He created ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ the man l-insāna
the man مِن from min
from صَلْصَـٰلٍۢ clay ṣalṣālin
clay كَٱلْفَخَّارِ like the pottery kal-fakhāri
like the pottery ١٤ (14)
(14)
Ia menciptakan manusia (lembaga Adam) dari tanah liat kering seperti tembikar,
55:15
وَخَلَقَ
And He created
wakhalaqa
And He created ٱلْجَآنَّ the jinn l-jāna
the jinn مِن from min
from مَّارِجٍۢ a smokeless flame mārijin
a smokeless flame مِّن of min
of نَّارٍۢ fire nārin
fire ١٥ (15)
(15)
And He created ٱلْجَآنَّ the jinn l-jāna
the jinn مِن from min
from مَّارِجٍۢ a smokeless flame mārijin
a smokeless flame مِّن of min
of نَّارٍۢ fire nārin
fire ١٥ (15)
(15)
Dan Ia telah menciptakan jin dari lidah api yang menjulang-julang;
55:16
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
fabi-ayyi
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ١٦ (16)
(16)
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ١٦ (16)
(16)
Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat Tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan?
55:17
رَبُّ
Lord
rabbu
Lord ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ (of) the two Easts l-mashriqayni
(of) the two Easts وَرَبُّ and Lord warabbu
and Lord ٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ (of) the two Wests l-maghribayni
(of) the two Wests ١٧ (17)
(17)
Lord ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ (of) the two Easts l-mashriqayni
(of) the two Easts وَرَبُّ and Lord warabbu
and Lord ٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ (of) the two Wests l-maghribayni
(of) the two Wests ١٧ (17)
(17)
(Dia lah) Tuhan yang mentadbirkan dua timur, dan Tuhan yang mentadbirkan dua barat.
55:18
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
fabi-ayyi
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ١٨ (18)
(18)
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ١٨ (18)
(18)
Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat Tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan?
55:19
مَرَجَ
He released
maraja
He released ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ the two seas l-baḥrayni
the two seas يَلْتَقِيَانِ meeting yaltaqiyāni
meeting ١٩ (19)
(19)
He released ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ the two seas l-baḥrayni
the two seas يَلْتَقِيَانِ meeting yaltaqiyāni
meeting ١٩ (19)
(19)
Ia biarkan air dua laut (yang masin dan yang tawar) mengalir, sedang keduanya pula bertemu;
55:20
بَيْنَهُمَا
Between both of them
baynahumā
Between both of them بَرْزَخٌۭ (is) a barrier barzakhun
(is) a barrier لَّا not lā
not يَبْغِيَانِ they transgress yabghiyāni
they transgress ٢٠ (20)
(20)
Between both of them بَرْزَخٌۭ (is) a barrier barzakhun
(is) a barrier لَّا not lā
not يَبْغِيَانِ they transgress yabghiyāni
they transgress ٢٠ (20)

Di antara keduanya ada penyekat yang memisahkannya, masing-masing tidak melampaui sempadannya;
55:21
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
fabi-ayyi
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٢١ (21)
(21)
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٢١ (21)
(21)
Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat Tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan?
55:22
يَخْرُجُ
Come forth
yakhruju
Come forth مِنْهُمَا from both of them min'humā
from both of them ٱللُّؤْلُؤُ the pearl l-lu'lu-u
the pearl وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ and the coral wal-marjānu
and the coral ٢٢ (22)
(22)
Come forth مِنْهُمَا from both of them min'humā
from both of them ٱللُّؤْلُؤُ the pearl l-lu'lu-u
the pearl وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ and the coral wal-marjānu
and the coral ٢٢ (22)
(22)
Dari kedua laut itu, keluar mutiara dan marjan;
55:23
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
fabi-ayyi
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٢٣ (23)
(23)
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٢٣ (23)
(23)
Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat Tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan?
55:24
وَلَهُ
And for Him
walahu
And for Him ٱلْجَوَارِ (are) the ships l-jawāri
(are) the ships ٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُ elevated l-munshaātu
elevated فِى in fī
in ٱلْبَحْرِ the sea l-baḥri
the sea كَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِ like mountains kal-aʿlāmi
like mountains ٢٤ (24)
(24)
And for Him ٱلْجَوَارِ (are) the ships l-jawāri
(are) the ships ٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُ elevated l-munshaātu
elevated فِى in fī
in ٱلْبَحْرِ the sea l-baḥri
the sea كَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِ like mountains kal-aʿlāmi
like mountains ٢٤ (24)
(24)
Dan Dia lah yang menguasai kapal-kapal yang belayar di laut, yang kembang tinggi layarnya seperti gunung-ganang;
55:25
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
fabi-ayyi
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٢٥ (25)
(25)
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٢٥ (25)
(25)
Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat Tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan?
55:26
كُلُّ
Everyone
kullu
Everyone مَنْ who man
who عَلَيْهَا (is) on it ʿalayhā
(is) on it فَانٍۢ (will) perish fānin
(will) perish ٢٦ (26)
(26)
Everyone مَنْ who man
who عَلَيْهَا (is) on it ʿalayhā
(is) on it فَانٍۢ (will) perish fānin
(will) perish ٢٦ (26)
(26)
Segala yang ada di muka bumi itu akan binasa:
55:27
وَيَبْقَىٰ
But will remain
wayabqā
But will remain وَجْهُ (the) Face wajhu
(the) Face رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord rabbika
(of) your Lord ذُو (the) Owner dhū
(the) Owner ٱلْجَلَـٰلِ (of) Majesty l-jalāli
(of) Majesty وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ and Honor wal-ik'rāmi
and Honor ٢٧ (27)
(27)
But will remain وَجْهُ (the) Face wajhu
(the) Face رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord rabbika
(of) your Lord ذُو (the) Owner dhū
(the) Owner ٱلْجَلَـٰلِ (of) Majesty l-jalāli
(of) Majesty وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ and Honor wal-ik'rāmi
and Honor ٢٧ (27)
(27)
Dan akan kekalah Zat Tuhanmu yang mempunyai Kebesaran dan Kemuliaan:
55:28
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
fabi-ayyi
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٢٨ (28)
(28)
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٢٨ (28)
(28)
Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat Tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan?
55:29
يَسْـَٔلُهُۥ
Asks Him
yasaluhu
Asks Him مَن whoever man
whoever فِى (is) in fī
(is) in ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens l-samāwāti
the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ and the earth wal-arḍi
and the earth كُلَّ Every kulla
Every يَوْمٍ day yawmin
day هُوَ He huwa
He فِى (is) in fī
(is) in شَأْنٍۢ a matter shanin
a matter ٢٩ (29)
(29)
Asks Him مَن whoever man
whoever فِى (is) in fī
(is) in ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens l-samāwāti
the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ and the earth wal-arḍi
and the earth كُلَّ Every kulla
Every يَوْمٍ day yawmin
day هُوَ He huwa
He فِى (is) in fī
(is) in شَأْنٍۢ a matter shanin
a matter ٢٩ (29)
(29)
Sekalian makhluk yang ada di langit dan di bumi sentiasa berhajat dan memohon kepadaNya. Tiap-tiap masa Ia di dalam urusan (mencipta dan mentadbirkan makhluk-makhlukNya)!
55:30
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
fabi-ayyi
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٣٠ (30)
(30)
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٣٠ (30)
(30)
Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat Tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan)?
55:31
سَنَفْرُغُ
Soon We will attend
sanafrughu
Soon We will attend لَكُمْ to you lakum
to you أَيُّهَ O you ayyuha
O you ٱلثَّقَلَانِ two classes l-thaqalāni
two classes ٣١ (31)
(31)
Soon We will attend لَكُمْ to you lakum
to you أَيُّهَ O you ayyuha
O you ٱلثَّقَلَانِ two classes l-thaqalāni
two classes ٣١ (31)
(31)
Kami hanya akan menguruskan hitungan dan balasan amal kamu sahaja (pada hari kiamat,) wahai manusia dan jin!
55:32
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
fabi-ayyi
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٣٢ (32)
(32)
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٣٢ (32)
(32)
Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat Tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan?
55:33
يَـٰمَعْشَرَ
O assembly
yāmaʿshara
O assembly ٱلْجِنِّ (of) the jinn l-jini
(of) the jinn وَٱلْإِنسِ and the men wal-insi
and the men إِنِ If ini
If ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ you are able is'taṭaʿtum
you are able أَن to an
to تَنفُذُوا۟ pass beyond tanfudhū
pass beyond مِنْ [of] min
[of] أَقْطَارِ (the) regions aqṭāri
(the) regions ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens l-samāwāti
(of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth wal-arḍi
and the earth فَٱنفُذُوا۟ ۚ then pass fa-unfudhū
then pass لَا Not lā
Not تَنفُذُونَ you (can) pass tanfudhūna
you (can) pass إِلَّا except illā
except بِسُلْطَـٰنٍۢ by authority bisul'ṭānin
by authority ٣٣ (33)
(33)
O assembly ٱلْجِنِّ (of) the jinn l-jini
(of) the jinn وَٱلْإِنسِ and the men wal-insi
and the men إِنِ If ini
If ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ you are able is'taṭaʿtum
you are able أَن to an
to تَنفُذُوا۟ pass beyond tanfudhū
pass beyond مِنْ [of] min
[of] أَقْطَارِ (the) regions aqṭāri
(the) regions ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens l-samāwāti
(of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth wal-arḍi
and the earth فَٱنفُذُوا۟ ۚ then pass fa-unfudhū
then pass لَا Not lā
Not تَنفُذُونَ you (can) pass tanfudhūna
you (can) pass إِلَّا except illā
except بِسُلْطَـٰنٍۢ by authority bisul'ṭānin
by authority ٣٣ (33)
(33)
Wahai sekalian jin dan manusia! Kalau kamu dapat menembus keluar dari kawasan-kawasan langit dan bumi (untuk melarikan diri dari kekuasaan dan balasan Kami), maka cubalah kamu menembus keluar. Kamu tidak akan menembus keluar melainkan dengan satu kekuasaan (yang mengatasi kekuasaan Kami; masakan dapat)!
55:34
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
fabi-ayyi
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٣٤ (34)

So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٣٤ (34)

Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat Tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan?
55:35
يُرْسَلُ
Will be sent
yur'salu
Will be sent عَلَيْكُمَا against both of you ʿalaykumā
against both of you شُوَاظٌۭ a flame shuwāẓun
a flame مِّن of min
of نَّارٍۢ fire nārin
fire وَنُحَاسٌۭ and smoke wanuḥāsun
and smoke فَلَا and not falā
and not تَنتَصِرَانِ you will (be able to) defend yourselves tantaṣirāni
you will (be able to) defend yourselves ٣٥ (35)
(35)
Will be sent عَلَيْكُمَا against both of you ʿalaykumā
against both of you شُوَاظٌۭ a flame shuwāẓun
a flame مِّن of min
of نَّارٍۢ fire nārin
fire وَنُحَاسٌۭ and smoke wanuḥāsun
and smoke فَلَا and not falā
and not تَنتَصِرَانِ you will (be able to) defend yourselves tantaṣirāni
you will (be able to) defend yourselves ٣٥ (35)

Kamu (wahai golongan yang kufur ingkar dari kalangan jin dan manusia) akan ditimpakan dengan api yang menjulang-julang dan leburan tembaga cair (yang membakar); dengan yang demikian, kamu tidak akan dapat mempertahankan diri (dari azab seksa itu);

فَبِأَىِّ

Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat Tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan?

فَإِذَا

fa-idhā
Then when ٱنشَقَّتِ is split inshaqqati
is split ٱلسَّمَآءُ the heaven l-samāu
the heaven فَكَانَتْ and it becomes fakānat
and it becomes وَرْدَةًۭ rose-colored wardatan
rose-colored كَٱلدِّهَانِ like murky oil kal-dihāni
like murky oil ٣٧ (37)

the heaven فَكَانَتْ and it becomes fakānat
and it becomes وَرْدَةًۭ rose-colored wardatan

Selain itu (sungguh ngeri) ketika langit pecah-belah lalu menjadilah ia merah mawar, berkilat seperti minyak;

(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni

(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā

Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat Tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan?

فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢ
Then (on) that Day

not يُسْـَٔلُ will be asked yus'alu
will be asked عَن about ʿan
about ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ his sin dhanbihi
his sin إِنسٌۭ any man insun

and not جَآنٌّۭ any jinn jānnun

Pada masa itu tiada sesiapapun, sama ada manusia atau jin, yang akan ditanya tentang dosanya (kerana masing-masing dapat dikenal menurut keadaannya);

(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni

Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat Tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan?

يُعْرَفُ
Will be known
yuʿ'rafu
Will be known ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals l-muj'rimūna
the criminals بِسِيمَـٰهُمْ by their marks bisīmāhum
by their marks فَيُؤْخَذُ and will be seized fayu'khadhu
and will be seized بِٱلنَّوَٰصِى by the forelocks bil-nawāṣī
by the forelocks وَٱلْأَقْدَامِ and the feet wal-aqdāmi
and the feet ٤١ (41)
(41)
Will be known ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals l-muj'rimūna
the criminals بِسِيمَـٰهُمْ by their marks bisīmāhum
by their marks فَيُؤْخَذُ and will be seized fayu'khadhu
and will be seized بِٱلنَّوَٰصِى by the forelocks bil-nawāṣī

Orang-orang yang berdosa dapat dikenal dari tanda-tandanya, lalu dipegang dari atas kepala dan kakinya (serta diseret ke neraka);

فَبِأَىِّ

(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni

هَـٰذِهِۦ

This جَهَنَّمُ (is) Hell jahannamu
(is) Hell ٱلَّتِى which allatī
which يُكَذِّبُ deny yukadhibu
deny بِهَا [of it] bihā
[of it] ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals l-muj'rimūna
the criminals ٤٣ (43)

This جَهَنَّمُ (is) Hell jahannamu
(is) Hell ٱلَّتِى which allatī
which يُكَذِّبُ deny yukadhibu
deny بِهَا [of it] bihā
[of it] ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ the criminals l-muj'rimūna
the criminals ٤٣ (43)

(Lalu dikatakan kepada mereka): "Inilah neraka Jahannam yang selalu orang-orang yang berdosa mendustakannya ".

يَطُوفُونَ
They will go around

between it وَبَيْنَ and between wabayna
and between حَمِيمٍ scalding water ḥamīmin
scalding water ءَانٍۢ heated ānin

Mereka (terus diseksa) berulang-ulang di antara api neraka dengan air yang menggelegak yang cukup masak panasnya!

(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni

Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat Tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan?

وَلِمَنْ
But for (him) who

But for (him) who خَافَ fears khāfa
fears مَقَامَ (the) standing maqāma
(the) standing رَبِّهِۦ (before) his Lord rabbihi
(before) his Lord جَنَّتَانِ (are) two gardens jannatāni
(are) two gardens ٤٦ (46)

But for (him) who خَافَ fears khāfa

Dan orang yang takut akan keadaan dirinya di mahkamah Tuhannya (untuk dihitung amalnya), disediakan baginya dua Syurga, -

فَبِأَىِّ

(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni

(are) every فَـٰكِهَةٍۢ fruits fākihatin
fruits زَوْجَانِ (in) pairs zawjāni

(are) every فَـٰكِهَةٍۢ fruits fākihatin

Pada kedua Syurga itu terdapat dua macam dari tiap-tiap jenis buah-buahan (yang biasa dan yang luar biasa).

مُتَّكِـِٔينَ

Reclining عَلَىٰ on ʿalā
on فُرُشٍۭ couches furushin
couches بَطَآئِنُهَا (whose) inner linings baṭāinuhā
(whose) inner linings مِنْ (are) of min
(are) of إِسْتَبْرَقٍۢ ۚ brocade is'tabraqin
brocade وَجَنَى and (the) fruit wajanā
and (the) fruit ٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِ (of) both the gardens l-janatayni
(of) both the gardens دَانٍۢ (is) near dānin
(is) near ٥٤ (54)
(54)
Reclining عَلَىٰ on ʿalā
on فُرُشٍۭ couches furushin
couches بَطَآئِنُهَا (whose) inner linings baṭāinuhā
(whose) inner linings مِنْ (are) of min
(are) of إِسْتَبْرَقٍۢ ۚ brocade is'tabraqin
brocade وَجَنَى and (the) fruit wajanā
and (the) fruit ٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِ (of) both the gardens l-janatayni
(of) both the gardens دَانٍۢ (is) near dānin
(is) near ٥٤ (54)

Mereka (bersenang-senang di tempat masing-masing dalam Syurga itu dengan) berbaring di atas hamparan-hamparan, yang lapisan-lapisan sebelah dalamnya - dari sutera tebal yang bersulam; dan buah-buahan kedua-dua Syurga itu dekat (kepada mereka) untuk dipetik.

فَبِأَىِّ

In them قَـٰصِرَٰتُ (will be) companions of modest gaze qāṣirātu
(will be) companions of modest gaze ٱلطَّرْفِ (will be) companions of modest gaze l-ṭarfi
(will be) companions of modest gaze لَمْ not lam
not يَطْمِثْهُنَّ has touched them yaṭmith'hunna
has touched them إِنسٌۭ any man insun
any man قَبْلَهُمْ before them qablahum
before them وَلَا and not walā
and not جَآنٌّۭ any jinn jānnun
any jinn ٥٦ (56)
(56)
In them قَـٰصِرَٰتُ (will be) companions of modest gaze qāṣirātu
(will be) companions of modest gaze ٱلطَّرْفِ (will be) companions of modest gaze l-ṭarfi
(will be) companions of modest gaze لَمْ not lam
not يَطْمِثْهُنَّ has touched them yaṭmith'hunna
has touched them إِنسٌۭ any man insun
any man قَبْلَهُمْ before them qablahum
before them وَلَا and not walā
and not جَآنٌّۭ any jinn jānnun
any jinn ٥٦ (56)

Di dalam Syurga-syurga itu terdapat bidadari-bidadari yang pandangannya tertumpu (kepada mereka semata-mata), yang tidak pernah disentuh sebelum mereka oleh manusia dan jin;

فَبِأَىِّ

rubies وَٱلْمَرْجَانُ and coral wal-marjānu
and coral ٥٨ (58)

Bidadari-bidadari itu (cantik berseri) seperti permata delima dan marjan.

(the) reward ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنِ for the good l-iḥ'sāni
for the good إِلَّا but illā
but ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنُ good l-iḥ'sānu

Is جَزَآءُ (the) reward jazāu
(the) reward ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنِ for the good l-iḥ'sāni

Bukankah tidak ada balasan bagi amal yang baik - melainkan balasan yang baik juga?

Dalam kedua-dua Syurga itu terdapat dua matair yang terus menerus memancutkan airnya:

فَبِأَىِّ

(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni

and date-palms وَرُمَّانٌۭ and pomegranates warummānun

(are) fruits وَنَخْلٌۭ and date-palms wanakhlun

Pada keduanya juga terdapat buah-buahan, serta pohon-pohon kurma dan delima,

(are) good حِسَانٌۭ and beautiful ones ḥisānun

In them خَيْرَٰتٌ (are) good khayrātun
(are) good حِسَانٌۭ and beautiful ones ḥisānun
and beautiful ones ٧٠ (70)

Dalam kedua-dua Syurga itu juga terdapat (teman-teman) yang baik akhlaknya, lagi cantik parasnya;
55:71
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
fabi-ayyi
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٧١ (71)

So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni

Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan?
55:72

Fair ones

Fair ones مَّقْصُورَٰتٌۭ restrained maqṣūrātun
restrained فِى in fī
in ٱلْخِيَامِ the pavilions l-khiyāmi

Ia itu bidadari-bidadari, yang hanya tinggal tetap di tempat tinggal masing-masing;

فَبِأَىِّ
So which

So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni

Not يَطْمِثْهُنَّ has touched them yaṭmith'hunna
has touched them إِنسٌۭ any man insun
any man قَبْلَهُمْ before them qablahum
before them وَلَا and not walā
and not جَآنٌّۭ any jinn jānnun
any jinn ٧٤ (74)

Not يَطْمِثْهُنَّ has touched them yaṭmith'hunna
has touched them إِنسٌۭ any man insun
any man قَبْلَهُمْ before them qablahum
before them وَلَا and not walā
and not جَآنٌّۭ any jinn jānnun
any jinn ٧٤ (74)
(74)
(Bidadari-bidadari itu) tidak pernah disentuh sebelum mereka oleh manusia dan tidak juga oleh jin;
55:75
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
fabi-ayyi
So which ءَالَآءِ (of the) favors ālāi
(of the) favors رَبِّكُمَا (of) your Lord rabbikumā
(of) your Lord تُكَذِّبَانِ will you both deny tukadhibāni
will you both deny ٧٥ (75)

مُتَّكِـِٔينَ

muttakiīna
Reclining عَلَىٰ on ʿalā
on رَفْرَفٍ cushions rafrafin
cushions خُضْرٍۢ green khuḍ'rin
green وَعَبْقَرِىٍّ and carpets waʿabqariyyin
and carpets حِسَانٍۢ beautiful ḥisānin
beautiful ٧٦ (76)

Reclining عَلَىٰ on ʿalā
on رَفْرَفٍ cushions rafrafin
cushions خُضْرٍۢ green khuḍ'rin
green وَعَبْقَرِىٍّ and carpets waʿabqariyyin
and carpets حِسَانٍۢ beautiful ḥisānin
beautiful ٧٦ (76)
(76)
Penduduk Syurga itu (bersenang-senang di dalamnya dengan) berbaring di atas (bantal-bantal dan) cadar-cadar yang hijau warnanya serta permaidani-permaidani yang sangat indah.
55:77
فَبِأَىِّ
So which

Blessed is
tabāraka
Blessed is ٱسْمُ (the) name us'mu
(the) name رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord rabbika
(of) your Lord ذِى Owner dhī
Owner ٱلْجَلَـٰلِ (of) Majesty l-jalāli
(of) Majesty وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ and Honor wal-ik'rāmi
and Honor ٧٨ (78)

Blessed is ٱسْمُ (the) name us'mu
(the) name رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord rabbika
(of) your Lord ذِى Owner dhī
Owner ٱلْجَلَـٰلِ (of) Majesty l-jalāli
(of) Majesty وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ and Honor wal-ik'rāmi
and Honor ٧٨ (78)

Maha Sucilah nama Tuhanmu yang mempunyai Kebesaran dan Kemuliaan.
