بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
55:1
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُThe Most Graciousal-raḥmānu١
Le Tout Miséricordieux.
55:2
عَلَّمَHe taughtʿallamaٱلْقُرْءَانَthe Quranl-qur'āna٢
Il a enseigné le Coran.
55:3
خَلَقَHe createdkhalaqaٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ[the] manl-insāna٣
Il a créé l’homme.
55:4
عَلَّمَهُHe taught himʿallamahuٱلْبَيَانَ[the] speechl-bayāna٤
Il lui a appris à s’exprimer clairement.
55:5
ٱلشَّمْسُThe sunal-shamsuوَٱلْقَمَرُand the moonwal-qamaruبِحُسْبَانٍۢby (precise) calculationbiḥus'bānin٥
Le soleil et la lune [évoluent] selon un calcul [minutieux]
55:6
وَٱلنَّجْمُAnd the starswal-najmuوَٱلشَّجَرُand the treeswal-shajaruيَسْجُدَانِboth prostrateyasjudāni٦
et les étoiles et les arbres se prosternent .
55:7
وَٱلسَّمَآءَAnd the heavenwal-samāaرَفَعَهَاHe raised itrafaʿahāوَوَضَعَand He has set upwawaḍaʿaٱلْمِيزَانَthe balancel-mīzāna٧
Et quant au ciel, Il l’a élevé bien haut. Et Il a établi la balance,
55:8
أَلَّاThat notallāتَطْغَوْا۟you may transgresstaṭghawفِىinfīٱلْمِيزَانِthe balancel-mīzāni٨
afin que vous ne transgressiez pas dans la pesée :
55:9
وَأَقِيمُوا۟And establishwa-aqīmūٱلْوَزْنَthe weightl-waznaبِٱلْقِسْطِin justicebil-qis'ṭiوَلَاand (do) notwalāتُخْسِرُوا۟make deficienttukh'sirūٱلْمِيزَانَthe balancel-mīzāna٩
Donnez [toujours] le poids exact et ne faussez pas la pesée.
55:10
وَٱلْأَرْضَAnd the earthwal-arḍaوَضَعَهَاHe laid itwaḍaʿahāلِلْأَنَامِfor the creatureslil'anāmi١٠
Quant à la terre, Il l’a étendue pour les êtres vivants :
55:11
فِيهَاThereinfīhāفَـٰكِهَةٌۭ(is) fruitfākihatunوَٱلنَّخْلُand date-palmswal-nakhluذَاتُhavingdhātuٱلْأَكْمَامِsheathsl-akmāmi١١
il s’y trouve des fruits, et aussi les palmiers aux fruits recouverts d’enveloppes,
55:12
وَٱلْحَبُّAnd the grainwal-ḥabuذُوhavingdhūٱلْعَصْفِhuskl-ʿaṣfiوَٱلرَّيْحَانُand scented plantswal-rayḥānu١٢
tout comme les grains dans leurs balles, et les plantes aromatiques.
55:13
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni١٣
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:14
خَلَقَHe createdkhalaqaٱلْإِنسَـٰنَthe manl-insānaمِنfromminصَلْصَـٰلٍۢclayṣalṣālinكَٱلْفَخَّارِlike the potterykal-fakhāri١٤
Il a créé l’homme d’argile sonnante comme la poterie ;
55:15
وَخَلَقَAnd He createdwakhalaqaٱلْجَآنَّthe jinnl-jānaمِنfromminمَّارِجٍۢa smokeless flamemārijinمِّنofminنَّارٍۢfirenārin١٥
et Il a créé les djinns de la flamme d’un feu sans fumée ;
55:16
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni١٦
lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:17
رَبُّLordrabbuٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ(of) the two Eastsl-mashriqayniوَرَبُّand Lordwarabbuٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ(of) the two Westsl-maghribayni١٧
Seigneur des deux Levants et Seigneur des deux Couchants !
55:18
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni١٨
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:19
مَرَجَHe releasedmarajaٱلْبَحْرَيْنِthe two seasl-baḥrayniيَلْتَقِيَانِmeetingyaltaqiyāni١٩
Il a donné libre cours aux deux mers pour se rencontrer ;
55:20
بَيْنَهُمَاBetween both of thembaynahumāبَرْزَخٌۭ(is) a barrierbarzakhunلَّاnotlāيَبْغِيَانِthey transgressyabghiyāni٢٠
il y a entre elles une barrière qu’elles ne dépassent pas .
55:21
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٢١
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:22
يَخْرُجُCome forthyakhrujuمِنْهُمَاfrom both of themmin'humāٱللُّؤْلُؤُthe pearll-lu'lu-uوَٱلْمَرْجَانُand the coralwal-marjānu٢٢
De ces deux [mers] : sortent la perle et le corail.
55:23
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٢٣
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:24
وَلَهُAnd for Himwalahuٱلْجَوَارِ(are) the shipsl-jawāriٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُelevatedl-munshaātuفِىinfīٱلْبَحْرِthe seal-baḥriكَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِlike mountainskal-aʿlāmi٢٤
A Lui appartiennent les vaisseaux élevés sur la mer comme des montagnes ;
55:25
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٢٥
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:26
كُلُّEveryonekulluمَنْwhomanعَلَيْهَا(is) on itʿalayhāفَانٍۢ(will) perishfānin٢٦
Tout ce qui est sur elle [la terre] doit disparaître,
55:27
وَيَبْقَىٰBut will remainwayabqāوَجْهُ(the) Facewajhuرَبِّكَ(of) your Lordrabbikaذُو(the) Ownerdhūٱلْجَلَـٰلِ(of) Majestyl-jalāliوَٱلْإِكْرَامِand Honorwal-ik'rāmi٢٧
[Seule] subsistera La Face [Wajh] de ton Seigneur, plein de majesté et de noblesse.
55:28
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٢٨
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:29
يَسْـَٔلُهُۥAsks Himyasaluhuمَنwhoevermanفِى(is) infīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚand the earthwal-arḍiكُلَّEverykullaيَوْمٍdayyawminهُوَHehuwaفِى(is) infīشَأْنٍۢa mattershanin٢٩
Ceux qui sont dans les cieux et la Terre L’implorent. Chaque jour, Il accomplit une œuvre nouvelle.
55:30
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٣٠
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous?
55:31
سَنَفْرُغُSoon We will attendsanafrughuلَكُمْto youlakumأَيُّهَO youayyuhaٱلثَّقَلَانِtwo classesl-thaqalāni٣١
Nous allons bientôt entreprendre votre jugement, ô vous les deux charges [hommes et djinns]
55:32
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٣٢
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:33
يَـٰمَعْشَرَO assemblyyāmaʿsharaٱلْجِنِّ(of) the jinnl-jiniوَٱلْإِنسِand the menwal-insiإِنِIfiniٱسْتَطَعْتُمْyou are ableis'taṭaʿtumأَنtoanتَنفُذُوا۟pass beyondtanfudhūمِنْ[of]minأَقْطَارِ(the) regionsaqṭāriٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِand the earthwal-arḍiفَٱنفُذُوا۟ ۚthen passfa-unfudhūلَاNotlāتَنفُذُونَyou (can) passtanfudhūnaإِلَّاexceptillāبِسُلْطَـٰنٍۢby authoritybisul'ṭānin٣٣
Ô peuple de djinns et d’hommes ! si vous pouvez sortir du domaine des cieux et de la Terre, alors faites-le. Mais vous ne pourrez en sortir qu’à l’aide d’un pouvoir [illimité].
55:34
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٣٤
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:35
يُرْسَلُWill be sentyur'saluعَلَيْكُمَاagainst both of youʿalaykumāشُوَاظٌۭa flameshuwāẓunمِّنofminنَّارٍۢfirenārinوَنُحَاسٌۭand smokewanuḥāsunفَلَاand notfalāتَنتَصِرَانِyou will (be able to) defend yourselvestantaṣirāni٣٥
Il sera lancé contre vous un jet de feu et de fumée [ou de cuivre fondu], et vous ne serez pas secourus.
55:36
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٣٦
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:37
فَإِذَاThen whenfa-idhāٱنشَقَّتِis splitinshaqqatiٱلسَّمَآءُthe heavenl-samāuفَكَانَتْand it becomesfakānatوَرْدَةًۭrose-coloredwardatanكَٱلدِّهَانِlike murky oilkal-dihāni٣٧
Puis quand le ciel se fendra et deviendra alors écarlate comme le cuir rouge.
55:38
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٣٨
Lequel des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:39
فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢThen (on) that Dayfayawma-idhinلَّاnotlāيُسْـَٔلُwill be askedyus'aluعَنaboutʿanذَنۢبِهِۦٓhis sindhanbihiإِنسٌۭany maninsunوَلَاand notwalāجَآنٌّۭany jinnjānnun٣٩
Alors, ni aux hommes ni aux djinns, on ne posera des questions à propos de leurs péchés.
55:40
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٤٠
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:41
يُعْرَفُWill be knownyuʿ'rafuٱلْمُجْرِمُونَthe criminalsl-muj'rimūnaبِسِيمَـٰهُمْby their marksbisīmāhumفَيُؤْخَذُand will be seizedfayu'khadhuبِٱلنَّوَٰصِىby the forelocksbil-nawāṣīوَٱلْأَقْدَامِand the feetwal-aqdāmi٤١
On reconnaîtra les criminels à leurs traits. Ils seront donc saisis par les toupets et les pieds.
55:42
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٤٢
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:43
هَـٰذِهِۦThishādhihiجَهَنَّمُ(is) Helljahannamuٱلَّتِىwhichallatīيُكَذِّبُdenyyukadhibuبِهَا[of it]bihāٱلْمُجْرِمُونَthe criminalsl-muj'rimūna٤٣
Voilà l’Enfer que les criminels traitaient de mensonge.
55:44
يَطُوفُونَThey will go aroundyaṭūfūnaبَيْنَهَاbetween itbaynahāوَبَيْنَand betweenwabaynaحَمِيمٍscalding waterḥamīminءَانٍۢheatedānin٤٤
Ils feront le va-et-vient entre lui (l’Enfer) et une eau bouillante extrêmement chaude.
55:45
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٤٥
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:46
وَلِمَنْBut for (him) whowalimanخَافَfearskhāfaمَقَامَ(the) standingmaqāmaرَبِّهِۦ(before) his Lordrabbihiجَنَّتَانِ(are) two gardensjannatāni٤٦
et pour celui qui aura craint de comparaître devant son Seigneur, il y aura deux jardins ;
55:47
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٤٧
lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:48
ذَوَاتَآHavingdhawātāأَفْنَانٍۢbranchesafnānin٤٨
Aux branches touffues.
55:49
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٤٩
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous?
55:50
فِيهِمَاIn both of themfīhimāعَيْنَانِ(are) two springsʿaynāniتَجْرِيَانِflowingtajriyāni٥٠
Ils y trouveront deux sources courantes.
55:51
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٥١
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:52
فِيهِمَاIn both of themfīhimāمِن[of]minكُلِّ(are) everykulliفَـٰكِهَةٍۢfruitsfākihatinزَوْجَانِ(in) pairszawjāni٥٢
Ils contiennent deux espèces de chaque fruit.
55:53
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٥٣
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:54
مُتَّكِـِٔينَRecliningmuttakiīnaعَلَىٰonʿalāفُرُشٍۭcouchesfurushinبَطَآئِنُهَا(whose) inner liningsbaṭāinuhāمِنْ(are) ofminإِسْتَبْرَقٍۢ ۚbrocadeis'tabraqinوَجَنَىand (the) fruitwajanāٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِ(of) both the gardensl-janatayniدَانٍۢ(is) neardānin٥٤
ils seront accoudés sur des tapis doublés de brocart, et les fruits des deux jardins seront à leur portée (pour être cueillis).
55:55
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٥٥
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:56
فِيهِنَّIn themfīhinnaقَـٰصِرَٰتُ(will be) companions of modest gazeqāṣirātuٱلطَّرْفِ(will be) companions of modest gazel-ṭarfiلَمْnotlamيَطْمِثْهُنَّhas touched themyaṭmith'hunnaإِنسٌۭany maninsunقَبْلَهُمْbefore themqablahumوَلَاand notwalāجَآنٌّۭany jinnjānnun٥٦
Ils y trouveront celles [les houris] aux regards chastes, qu’avant eux aucun homme ou djinn n’aura déflorées.
55:57
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٥٧
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:58
كَأَنَّهُنَّAs if they wereka-annahunnaٱلْيَاقُوتُrubiesl-yāqūtuوَٱلْمَرْجَانُand coralwal-marjānu٥٨
Elles seront telles le rubis et le corail.
55:59
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٥٩
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:60
هَلْIshalجَزَآءُ(the) rewardjazāuٱلْإِحْسَـٰنِfor the goodl-iḥ'sāniإِلَّاbutillāٱلْإِحْسَـٰنُgoodl-iḥ'sānu٦٠
Y a-t-il d’autre récompense pour le bien, que le bien ?
55:61
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٦١
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:62
وَمِنBesides these twowaminدُونِهِمَاBesides these twodūnihimāجَنَّتَانِ(are) two gardensjannatāni٦٢
En deçà de ces deux jardins il y aura deux autres jardins.
55:63
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٦٣
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:64
مُدْهَآمَّتَانِDark greenmud'hāmmatāni٦٤
Ils sont d’un vert sombre.
55:65
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٦٥
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:66
فِيهِمَاIn both of themfīhimāعَيْنَانِ(are) two springsʿaynāniنَضَّاخَتَانِgushing forthnaḍḍākhatāni٦٦
Dans lesquelles il y aura deux sources jaillissantes.
55:67
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٦٧
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:68
فِيهِمَاIn both of themfīhimāفَـٰكِهَةٌۭ(are) fruitsfākihatunوَنَخْلٌۭand date-palmswanakhlunوَرُمَّانٌۭand pomegranateswarummānun٦٨
ils contiennent des fruits, des palmiers, et des grenadiers.
55:69
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٦٩
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:70
فِيهِنَّIn themfīhinnaخَيْرَٰتٌ(are) goodkhayrātunحِسَانٌۭand beautiful onesḥisānun٧٠
Là, il y aura des vertueuses et des belles.
55:71
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٧١
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:72
حُورٌۭFair onesḥūrunمَّقْصُورَٰتٌۭrestrainedmaqṣūrātunفِىinfīٱلْخِيَامِthe pavilionsl-khiyāmi٧٢
Des femmes aux grands yeux noirs cloîtrées dans les tentes,
55:73
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٧٣
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:74
لَمْNotlamيَطْمِثْهُنَّhas touched themyaṭmith'hunnaإِنسٌۭany maninsunقَبْلَهُمْbefore themqablahumوَلَاand notwalāجَآنٌّۭany jinnjānnun٧٤
Qu’avant eux aucun homme ou djinn n’a déflorées.
55:75
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٧٥
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:76
مُتَّكِـِٔينَRecliningmuttakiīnaعَلَىٰonʿalāرَفْرَفٍcushionsrafrafinخُضْرٍۢgreenkhuḍ'rinوَعَبْقَرِىٍّand carpetswaʿabqariyyinحِسَانٍۢbeautifulḥisānin٧٦
Ils seront accoudés sur des coussins verts et des tapis épais et jolis.
55:77
فَبِأَىِّSo whichfabi-ayyiءَالَآءِ(of the) favorsālāiرَبِّكُمَا(of) your Lordrabbikumāتُكَذِّبَانِwill you both denytukadhibāni٧٧
Lequel donc des bienfaits de votre Seigneur nierez-vous ?
55:78
