القمر

La sourate Al-Qamar (القمر) est le 54e chapitre du Saint Coran — une sourate Mecquoise de 55 versets. Les sourates mecquoises ont été révélées avant l'émigration du Prophète Muhammad (paix sur lui) à Médine et mettent souvent l'accent sur la foi, l'unicité de Dieu et l'au-delà.

بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
54:1
ٱقْتَرَبَتِHas come neariq'tarabatiٱلسَّاعَةُthe Hourl-sāʿatuوَٱنشَقَّand has splitwa-inshaqqaٱلْقَمَرُthe moonl-qamaru١
L’Heure approche et la lune s’est fendue.
54:2
وَإِنAnd ifwa-inيَرَوْا۟they seeyarawءَايَةًۭa Signāyatanيُعْرِضُوا۟they turn awayyuʿ'riḍūوَيَقُولُوا۟and saywayaqūlūسِحْرٌۭMagicsiḥ'runمُّسْتَمِرٌّۭcontinuingmus'tamirrun٢
Et s’ils voient un prodige, ils s’en détournent et disent : "Une magie éphémère."
54:3
وَكَذَّبُوا۟And they deniedwakadhabūوَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟and followedwa-ittabaʿūأَهْوَآءَهُمْ ۚtheir desiresahwāahumوَكُلُّbut (for) everywakulluأَمْرٍۢmatteramrinمُّسْتَقِرٌّۭ(will be a) settlementmus'taqirrun٣
Et ils [le] traitent de mensonge et suivent leurs propres impulsions, or chaque chose arrivera à son terme [et son but]
54:4
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadجَآءَهُمhas come to themjāahumمِّنَofminaٱلْأَنۢبَآءِthe informationl-anbāiمَاwhereinmāفِيهِwhereinfīhiمُزْدَجَرٌ(is) deterrencemuz'dajarun٤
Ils ont pourtant reçu comme nouvelles de quoi les empêcher (du mal) ;
54:5
حِكْمَةٌۢWisdomḥik'matunبَـٰلِغَةٌۭ ۖperfectbālighatunفَمَاbut notfamāتُغْنِwill availtugh'niٱلنُّذُرُthe warningsl-nudhuru٥
[Cela est] une sagesse parfaite. Mais les avertissements ne [leur] servent à rien.
54:6
فَتَوَلَّSo turn awayfatawallaعَنْهُمْ ۘfrom themʿanhumيَوْمَ(The) Dayyawmaيَدْعُwill callyadʿuٱلدَّاعِthe callerl-dāʿiإِلَىٰtoilāشَىْءٍۢa thingshayinنُّكُرٍterriblenukurin٦
Détourne-toi d’eux. Le jour où l’appeleur appellera vers une chose affreuse,
54:7
خُشَّعًا(Will be) humbledkhushaʿanأَبْصَـٰرُهُمْtheir eyesabṣāruhumيَخْرُجُونَthey will come forthyakhrujūnaمِنَfromminaٱلْأَجْدَاثِthe gravesl-ajdāthiكَأَنَّهُمْas if they (were)ka-annahumجَرَادٌۭlocustsjarādunمُّنتَشِرٌۭspreadingmuntashirun٧
les regards baissés, ils sortiront des tombes comme des sauterelles éparpillées,
54:8
مُّهْطِعِينَRacing aheadmuh'ṭiʿīnaإِلَىtowardsilāٱلدَّاعِ ۖthe callerl-dāʿiيَقُولُWill sayyaqūluٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَthe disbelieversl-kāfirūnaهَـٰذَاThishādhāيَوْمٌ(is) a Dayyawmunعَسِرٌۭdifficultʿasirun٨
courant, le cou tendu, vers l’appeleur. Les mécréants diront : "Voilà un jour difficile."
54:9
۞ كَذَّبَتْDeniedkadhabatقَبْلَهُمْbefore themqablahumقَوْمُ(the) peopleqawmuنُوحٍۢ(of) Nuhnūḥinفَكَذَّبُوا۟and they deniedfakadhabūعَبْدَنَاOur slaveʿabdanāوَقَالُوا۟and saidwaqālūمَجْنُونٌۭA madmanmajnūnunوَٱزْدُجِرَand he was repelledwa-uz'dujira٩
Avant eux, le peuple de Noé avait crié au mensonge. Ils traitèrent Notre serviteur de menteur et dirent : "C’est un possédé !" Et il fut repoussé.
54:10
فَدَعَاSo he calledfadaʿāرَبَّهُۥٓhis LordrabbahuأَنِّىI amannīمَغْلُوبٌۭone overpoweredmaghlūbunفَٱنتَصِرْso helpfa-intaṣir١٠
il invoqua donc son Seigneur : "Moi, je suis vaincu. Fais triompher (Ta cause)."
54:11
فَفَتَحْنَآSo We openedfafataḥnāأَبْوَٰبَ(the) gatesabwābaٱلسَّمَآءِ(of) heavenl-samāiبِمَآءٍۢwith waterbimāinمُّنْهَمِرٍۢpouring downmun'hamirin١١
Nous ouvrîmes alors les portes du ciel à une eau torrentielle,
54:12
وَفَجَّرْنَاAnd We caused to burstwafajjarnāٱلْأَرْضَthe earthl-arḍaعُيُونًۭا(with) springsʿuyūnanفَٱلْتَقَىso metfal-taqāٱلْمَآءُthe water(s)l-māuعَلَىٰٓforʿalāأَمْرٍۢa matteramrinقَدْalreadyqadقُدِرَpredestinedqudira١٢
et fîmes jaillir la terre en sources. Les eaux se rencontrèrent d’après un ordre qui était déjà décrété.
54:13
وَحَمَلْنَـٰهُAnd We carried himwaḥamalnāhuعَلَىٰonʿalāذَاتِ(ark) made of planksdhātiأَلْوَٰحٍۢ(ark) made of planksalwāḥinوَدُسُرٍۢand nailswadusurin١٣
Et Nous le portâmes sur un objet [fait] de planches et de clous [l’arche],
54:14
تَجْرِىSailingtajrīبِأَعْيُنِنَاbefore Our eyesbi-aʿyunināجَزَآءًۭa rewardjazāanلِّمَنfor (he) wholimanكَانَwaskānaكُفِرَdeniedkufira١٤
voguant sous Nos yeux : récompense pour celui qu’on avait renié [Noé].
54:15
وَلَقَدAnd certainlywalaqadتَّرَكْنَـٰهَآWe left ittaraknāhāءَايَةًۭ(as) a Signāyatanفَهَلْso is (there)fahalمِنanyminمُّدَّكِرٍۢwho will receive admonitionmuddakirin١٥
Et Nous la laissâmes, comme un signe [d’avertissement]. Y a-t-il quelqu’un pour réfléchir ?
54:16
فَكَيْفَSo howfakayfaكَانَwaskānaعَذَابِىMy punishmentʿadhābīوَنُذُرِand My warningswanudhuri١٦
Comment furent Mon châtiment et Mes avertissements?
54:17
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadيَسَّرْنَاWe have made easyyassarnāٱلْقُرْءَانَthe Quranl-qur'ānaلِلذِّكْرِfor remembrancelildhik'riفَهَلْso is (there)fahalمِنanyminمُّدَّكِرٍۢwho will receive admonitionmuddakirin١٧
En effet, Nous avons rendu le Coran facile pour la médiation. Y a-t- il quelqu’un pour réfléchir?
54:18
كَذَّبَتْDeniedkadhabatعَادٌۭAadʿādunفَكَيْفَso howfakayfaكَانَwaskānaعَذَابِىMy punishmentʿadhābīوَنُذُرِand My warningswanudhuri١٨
Les ˒Ād ont traité de menteur (leur Messager). Comment furent Mon châtiment et Mes avertissements?
54:19
إِنَّآIndeed, Weinnāأَرْسَلْنَا[We] sentarsalnāعَلَيْهِمْupon themʿalayhimرِيحًۭاa windrīḥanصَرْصَرًۭاfuriousṣarṣaranفِىonfīيَوْمِa dayyawmiنَحْسٍۢ(of) misfortunenaḥsinمُّسْتَمِرٍّۢcontinuousmus'tamirrin١٩
Nous avons envoyé contre eux un vent violent et glacial, en un jour néfaste et interminable ;
54:20
تَنزِعُPlucking outtanziʿuٱلنَّاسَmenl-nāsaكَأَنَّهُمْas if they (were)ka-annahumأَعْجَازُtrunksaʿjāzuنَخْلٍۢ(of) date-palmsnakhlinمُّنقَعِرٍۢuprootedmunqaʿirin٢٠
il arrachait les gens comme des souches de palmiers déracinés.
54:21
فَكَيْفَSo howfakayfaكَانَwaskānaعَذَابِىMy punishmentʿadhābīوَنُذُرِand My warningswanudhuri٢١
Comment furent Mon châtiment et Mes avertissements ?
54:22
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadيَسَّرْنَاWe have made easyyassarnāٱلْقُرْءَانَthe Quranl-qur'ānaلِلذِّكْرِfor remembrancelildhik'riفَهَلْso is (there)fahalمِنanyminمُّدَّكِرٍۢwho will receive admonitionmuddakirin٢٢
En effet, Nous avons rendu le Coran facile pour la médiation. Y a-t-il quelqu’un pour réfléchir ?
54:23
كَذَّبَتْDeniedkadhabatثَمُودُThamudthamūduبِٱلنُّذُرِthe warningsbil-nudhuri٢٣
Les Thamûd ont traité de mensonges les avertissements?
54:24
فَقَالُوٓا۟And saidfaqālūأَبَشَرًۭاIs (it) a human beingabasharanمِّنَّاamong usminnāوَٰحِدًۭاonewāḥidanنَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓ(that) we should follow himnattabiʿuhuإِنَّآIndeed, weinnāإِذًۭاthenidhanلَّفِى(will be) surely inlafīضَلَـٰلٍۢerrorḍalālinوَسُعُرٍand madnesswasuʿurin٢٤
Ils dirent: "Allons-nous suivre un seul homme (Sâlîh) d’entre nous- mêmes ? Nous serions alors dans l’égarement et la folie.
54:25
أَءُلْقِىَHas been senta-ul'qiyaٱلذِّكْرُthe Reminderl-dhik'ruعَلَيْهِto himʿalayhiمِنۢfromminبَيْنِنَاamong usbaynināبَلْNaybalهُوَhehuwaكَذَّابٌ(is) a liarkadhābunأَشِرٌۭinsolentashirun٢٥
Est-ce que le message a été envoyé à lui à l’exception de nous tous ? C’est plutôt un grand menteur, plein de prétention et d’orgueil."
54:26
سَيَعْلَمُونَThey will knowsayaʿlamūnaغَدًۭاtomorrowghadanمَّنِwhomaniٱلْكَذَّابُ(is) the liarl-kadhābuٱلْأَشِرُthe insolent onel-ashiru٢٦
Demain, ils sauront qui est le grand menteur plein de prétention et d’orgueil.
54:27
إِنَّاIndeed, Weinnāمُرْسِلُوا۟(are) sendingmur'silūٱلنَّاقَةِthe she-camell-nāqatiفِتْنَةًۭ(as) a trialfit'natanلَّهُمْfor themlahumفَٱرْتَقِبْهُمْso watch themfa-ir'taqib'humوَٱصْطَبِرْand be patientwa-iṣ'ṭabir٢٧
Nous leur enverrons la chamelle, comme épreuve . Surveille-les donc et sois patient.
54:28
وَنَبِّئْهُمْAnd inform themwanabbi'humأَنَّthatannaٱلْمَآءَthe waterl-māaقِسْمَةٌۢ(is) to be sharedqis'matunبَيْنَهُمْ ۖbetween thembaynahumكُلُّeachkulluشِرْبٍۢdrinkshir'binمُّحْتَضَرٌۭattendedmuḥ'taḍarun٢٨
Et informe-les que l’eau sera en partage entre eux [et la chamelle]; chacun boira à son tour.
54:29
فَنَادَوْا۟But they calledfanādawصَاحِبَهُمْtheir companionṣāḥibahumفَتَعَاطَىٰand he tookfataʿāṭāفَعَقَرَand hamstrungfaʿaqara٢٩
Puis ils appelèrent leur camarade qui prit [son épée] et [la] tua.
54:30
فَكَيْفَSo howfakayfaكَانَwaskānaعَذَابِىMy punishmentʿadhābīوَنُذُرِand My warningswanudhuri٣٠
Comment furent donc Mon châtiment et Mes avertissements ?
54:31
إِنَّآIndeed, Weinnāأَرْسَلْنَا[We] sentarsalnāعَلَيْهِمْupon themʿalayhimصَيْحَةًۭthunderous blastṣayḥatanوَٰحِدَةًۭsinglewāḥidatanفَكَانُوا۟and they becamefakānūكَهَشِيمِlike dry twig fragmentskahashīmiٱلْمُحْتَظِرِ(used by) a fence builderl-muḥ'taẓiri٣١
Nous lâchâmes sur eux un seul Cri, et voilà qu’ils furent réduits à l’état de paille d’étable.
54:32
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadيَسَّرْنَاWe have made easyyassarnāٱلْقُرْءَانَthe Quranl-qur'ānaلِلذِّكْرِfor remembrancelildhik'riفَهَلْso is (there)fahalمِنanyminمُّدَّكِرٍۢwho will receive admonitionmuddakirin٣٢
Et vraiment, Nous avons rendu le Coran facile pour la médiation. Y a-t-il quelqu’un pour réfléchir ?
54:33
كَذَّبَتْDeniedkadhabatقَوْمُ(the) peopleqawmuلُوطٍۭ(of) Lutlūṭinبِٱلنُّذُرِthe warningsbil-nudhuri٣٣
Le peuple de Lot traita de mensonges les avertissements.
54:34
إِنَّآIndeed, Weinnāأَرْسَلْنَا[We] sentarsalnāعَلَيْهِمْupon themʿalayhimحَاصِبًاa storm of stonesḥāṣibanإِلَّآexceptillāءَالَ(the) familyālaلُوطٍۢ ۖ(of) LutlūṭinنَّجَّيْنَـٰهُمWe saved themnajjaynāhumبِسَحَرٍۢby dawnbisaḥarin٣٤
Nous lâchâmes sur eux un ouragan, excepté la famille de Lot que Nous sauvâmes avant l’aube,
54:35
نِّعْمَةًۭ(As) a favorniʿ'matanمِّنْfromminعِندِنَا ۚUsʿindināكَذَٰلِكَThuskadhālikaنَجْزِىWe rewardnajzīمَن(one) whomanشَكَرَ(is) gratefulshakara٣٥
à titre de bienfait de Notre part : ainsi récompensons-Nous celui qui est reconnaissant.
54:36
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadأَنذَرَهُمhe warned themandharahumبَطْشَتَنَا(of) Our seizurebaṭshatanāفَتَمَارَوْا۟but they disputedfatamārawبِٱلنُّذُرِthe warningsbil-nudhuri٣٦
Il les avait pourtant avertis de Nos représailles. Mais ils mirent les avertissements en doute.
54:37
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadرَٰوَدُوهُthey demanded from himrāwadūhuعَنthey demanded from himʿanضَيْفِهِۦhis guestsḍayfihiفَطَمَسْنَآso We blindedfaṭamasnāأَعْيُنَهُمْtheir eyesaʿyunahumفَذُوقُوا۟So tastefadhūqūعَذَابِىMy punishmentʿadhābīوَنُذُرِand My warningswanudhuri٣٧
En effet, ils voulaient séduire ses hôtes. Nous aveuglâmes leurs yeux "Goûtez donc Mon châtiment et Mes avertissements."
54:38
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadصَبَّحَهُمseized them in the morningṣabbaḥahumبُكْرَةًearlybuk'ratanعَذَابٌۭa punishmentʿadhābunمُّسْتَقِرٌّۭabidingmus'taqirrun٣٨
En effet, au petit matin, un châtiment persistant les surprit.
54:39
فَذُوقُوا۟So tastefadhūqūعَذَابِىMy punishmentʿadhābīوَنُذُرِand My warningswanudhuri٣٩
Goûtez donc Mon châtiment et Mes avertissements.
54:40
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadيَسَّرْنَاWe have made easyyassarnāٱلْقُرْءَانَthe Quranl-qur'ānaلِلذِّكْرِfor remembrancelildhik'riفَهَلْso is (there)fahalمِنanyminمُّدَّكِرٍۢwho will receive admonitionmuddakirin٤٠
Et vraiment, Nous avons rendu le Coran facile pour la médiation. Y a-t-il quelqu’un pour réfléchir ?
54:41
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadجَآءَcamejāaءَالَ(to the) peopleālaفِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaunfir'ʿawnaٱلنُّذُرُwarningsl-nudhuru٤١
Les avertissements vinrent certes, aux gens de Pharaon.
54:42
كَذَّبُوا۟They deniedkadhabūبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاOur Signsbiāyātināكُلِّهَاall of themkullihāفَأَخَذْنَـٰهُمْso We seized themfa-akhadhnāhumأَخْذَ(with) a seizureakhdhaعَزِيزٍۢ(of) All-Mightyʿazīzinمُّقْتَدِرٍ(the) Powerful Onemuq'tadirin٤٢
Ils traitèrent de mensonges tous Nos prodiges. Nous les saisîmes donc, de la saisie d’un Puissant Omnipotent.
54:43
أَكُفَّارُكُمْAre your disbelieversakuffārukumخَيْرٌۭbetterkhayrunمِّنْthanminأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكُمْthoseulāikumأَمْoramلَكُمfor youlakumبَرَآءَةٌۭ(is) an exemptionbarāatunفِىinfīٱلزُّبُرِthe Scripturesl-zuburi٤٣
Vos mécréants sont-ils meilleurs que ceux-là ? Ou bien y a-t-il dans les Ecritures une immunité pour vous ?
54:44
أَمْOramيَقُولُونَ(do) they sayyaqūlūnaنَحْنُWenaḥnuجَمِيعٌۭ(are) an assemblyjamīʿunمُّنتَصِرٌۭhelping (each other)muntaṣirun٤٤
Ou bien ils disent : "Nous formons un groupe [fort] et nous vaincrons."
54:45
سَيُهْزَمُSoon will be defeatedsayuh'zamuٱلْجَمْعُ(their) assemblyl-jamʿuوَيُوَلُّونَand they will turnwayuwallūnaٱلدُّبُرَ(their) backsl-dubura٤٥
Leur rassemblement sera bientôt mis en déroute, et ils fuiront.
54:46
بَلِNaybaliٱلسَّاعَةُthe Hourl-sāʿatuمَوْعِدُهُمْ(is) their promised timemawʿiduhumوَٱلسَّاعَةُand the Hourwal-sāʿatuأَدْهَىٰ(will be) more grievousadhāوَأَمَرُّand more bitterwa-amarru٤٦
L’Heure, plutôt, sera leur rendez-vous, et l’Heure sera plus terrible et plus amère.
54:47
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلْمُجْرِمِينَthe criminalsl-muj'rimīnaفِى(are) infīضَلَـٰلٍۢan errorḍalālinوَسُعُرٍۢand madnesswasuʿurin٤٧
Les criminels sont certes, dans l’égarement et la folie.
54:48
يَوْمَ(The) Dayyawmaيُسْحَبُونَthey will be draggedyus'ḥabūnaفِىintofīٱلنَّارِthe Firel-nāriعَلَىٰonʿalāوُجُوهِهِمْtheir faceswujūhihimذُوقُوا۟Tastedhūqūمَسَّ(the) touchmassaسَقَرَ(of) Hellsaqara٤٨
Le jour où on les traînera dans le Feu sur leurs visages, (on leur dira) : "Goûtez au contact de Saqar [la chaleur brûlante de l’Enfer]."
54:49
إِنَّاIndeed, [We]innāكُلَّeverykullaشَىْءٍthingshayinخَلَقْنَـٰهُWe created itkhalaqnāhuبِقَدَرٍۢby a measurebiqadarin٤٩
Nous avons créé toute chose avec mesure,
54:50
وَمَآAnd notwamāأَمْرُنَآ(is) Our Commandamrunāإِلَّاbutillāوَٰحِدَةٌۭonewāḥidatunكَلَمْحٍۭlike the twinklingkalamḥinبِٱلْبَصَرِ(of) the eyebil-baṣari٥٠
et Notre ordre est une seule [parole] ; [il est prompt] comme un clin d’œil.
54:51
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadأَهْلَكْنَآWe destroyedahlaknāأَشْيَاعَكُمْyour kindsashyāʿakumفَهَلْso is (there)fahalمِنanyminمُّدَّكِرٍۢwho will receive admonitionmuddakirin٥١
En effet, nous avons fait périr des peuples semblables à vous. Y a-t-il quelqu’un pour s’en souvenir ?
54:52
وَكُلُّAnd everywakulluشَىْءٍۢthingshayinفَعَلُوهُthey didfaʿalūhuفِى(is) infīٱلزُّبُرِthe written recordsl-zuburi٥٢
Et tout ce qu’ils ont fait est mentionné dans les registres,
54:53
وَكُلُّAnd everywakulluصَغِيرٍۢsmallṣaghīrinوَكَبِيرٍۢand bigwakabīrinمُّسْتَطَرٌ(is) written downmus'taṭarun٥٣
et tout fait, petit et grand, est consigné.
54:54
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلْمُتَّقِينَthe righteousl-mutaqīnaفِى(will be) infīجَنَّـٰتٍۢgardensjannātinوَنَهَرٍۢand riverwanaharin٥٤
Les pieux seront dans des Jardins et parmi des ruisseaux,
54:55
فِىInfīمَقْعَدِa seatmaqʿadiصِدْقٍ(of) honorṣid'qinعِندَnearʿindaمَلِيكٍۢa KingmalīkinمُّقْتَدِرٍۭMost Powerfulmuq'tadirin٥٥
dans un séjour de vérité, auprès d’un Souverain Omnipotent.
