طه

Bismillah

بِسْمِ In (the) name ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ the Most Gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِ the Most Merciful

Im Namen Allahs, des Allerbarmers, des Barmherzigen

20:1

طه Ta Ha ١ (1)

Ta-Ha.

20:2

مَآ Not أَنزَلْنَا We (have) sent down عَلَيْكَ to you ٱلْقُرْءَانَ the Quran لِتَشْقَىٰٓ that you be distressed ٢ (2)

Wir haben den Qur’an nicht auf dich (als Offenbarung) hinabgesandt, damit du unglücklich bist,

20:3

إِلَّا (But) تَذْكِرَةًۭ (as) a reminder لِّمَن for (those) who يَخْشَىٰ fear ٣ (3)

sondern als Erinnerung für denjenigen, der gottesfürchtig ist,

20:4

تَنزِيلًۭا A revelation مِّمَّنْ from (He) Who خَلَقَ created ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth وَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ and the heavens ٱلْعُلَى [the] high ٤ (4)

eine Offenbarung von Demjenigen, Der die Erde und die hohen Himmel erschaffen hat.

20:5

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ The Most Gracious عَلَى over ٱلْعَرْشِ the Throne ٱسْتَوَىٰ is established ٥ (5)

Der Allerbarmer ist über dem Thron erhaben.

20:6

لَهُۥ To Him (belongs) مَا whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth وَمَا and whatever بَيْنَهُمَا (is) between them وَمَا and whatever تَحْتَ (is) under ٱلثَّرَىٰ the soil ٦ (6)

Ihm gehört (alles), was in den Himmeln und was auf der Erde ist und was dazwischen und was unter dem (feuchten) Erdreich ist.

20:7

وَإِن And if تَجْهَرْ you speak aloud بِٱلْقَوْلِ the word فَإِنَّهُۥ then indeed, He يَعْلَمُ knows ٱلسِّرَّ the secret وَأَخْفَى and the more hidden ٧ (7)

Und wenn du deine Worte laut vernehmbar äußerst, gewiß so weiß Er ja das Geheime und was noch verborgener ist.

20:8

ٱللَّهُ Allah لَآ (there is) no إِلَـٰهَ god إِلَّا except هُوَ ۖ Him لَهُ To Him (belong) ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ the Names ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ the Most Beautiful ٨ (8)

Allah - es gibt keinen Gott außer Ihm. Sein sind die schönsten Namen.

20:9

وَهَلْ And has أَتَىٰكَ come to you حَدِيثُ the narration مُوسَىٰٓ (of) Musa ٩ (9)

Ist zu dir die Geschichte Musas gekommen?

20:10

إِذْ When رَءَا he saw نَارًۭا a fire فَقَالَ then he said لِأَهْلِهِ to his family ٱمْكُثُوٓا۟ Stay here إِنِّىٓ indeed, I ءَانَسْتُ [I] perceived نَارًۭا a fire لَّعَلِّىٓ perhaps I (can) ءَاتِيكُم bring you مِّنْهَا therefrom بِقَبَسٍ a burning brand أَوْ or أَجِدُ I find عَلَى at ٱلنَّارِ the fire هُدًۭى guidance ١٠ (10)

Als er ein Feuer sah und zu seinen Angehörigen sagte: „Bleibt hier. Ich habe ein Feuer wahrgenommen; vielleicht kann ich euch davon ein brennendes Stück Holz bringen oder am Feuer eine Wegweisung finden.

20:11

فَلَمَّآ Then when أَتَىٰهَا he came to it نُودِىَ he was called يَـٰمُوسَىٰٓ O Musa ١١ (11)

Als er dort hinkam, wurde ihm zugerufen: „O Musa!

20:12

إِنِّىٓ Indeed, [I] أَنَا۠ I Am رَبُّكَ your Lord فَٱخْلَعْ so remove نَعْلَيْكَ ۖ your shoes إِنَّكَ Indeed, you بِٱلْوَادِ (are) in the valley ٱلْمُقَدَّسِ the sacred طُوًۭى (of) Tuwa ١٢ (12)

Gewiß, Ich bin dein Herr, so ziehe deine Schuhe aus. Du befindest dich im geheiligten Tal Tuwa.

20:13

وَأَنَا And I ٱخْتَرْتُكَ (have) chosen you فَٱسْتَمِعْ so listen لِمَا to what يُوحَىٰٓ is revealed ١٣ (13)

Und Ich habe dich erwählt. So höre auf das, was (als Offenbarung) eingegeben wird.

20:14

إِنَّنِىٓ Indeed, [I] أَنَا I Am ٱللَّهُ Allah لَآ (There is) no إِلَـٰهَ god إِلَّآ but أَنَا۠ I فَٱعْبُدْنِى so worship Me وَأَقِمِ and establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer لِذِكْرِىٓ for My remembrance ١٤ (14)

Gewiß, Ich bin Allah. Es gibt keinen Gott außer Mir. So diene Mir und verrichte das Gebet zu Meinem Gedenken.

20:15

إِنَّ Indeed ٱلسَّاعَةَ the Hour ءَاتِيَةٌ (will be) coming أَكَادُ I almost أُخْفِيهَا [I] hide it لِتُجْزَىٰ that may be recompensed كُلُّ every نَفْسٍۭ soul بِمَا for what تَسْعَىٰ it strives ١٥ (15)

Gewiß, die Stunde kommt - Ich hielte sie beinahe (ganz) verborgen -, damit jeder Seele das vergolten wird, worum sie sich bemüht.

20:16

فَلَا So (do) not يَصُدَّنَّكَ (let) avert you عَنْهَا from it مَن (one) who لَّا (does) not يُؤْمِنُ believe بِهَا in it وَٱتَّبَعَ and follows هَوَىٰهُ his desires فَتَرْدَىٰ lest you perish ١٦ (16)

So lasse denn nicht denjenigen dich von ihr abhalten, der nicht an sie glaubt und seiner Neigung folgt, sonst würdest du dich ins Verderben stürzen.

20:17

وَمَا And what تِلْكَ (is) that بِيَمِينِكَ in your right hand يَـٰمُوسَىٰ O Musa ١٧ (17)

Und was ist das da in deiner Rechten, o Musa?

20:18

قَالَ He said هِىَ It عَصَاىَ (is) my staff أَتَوَكَّؤُا۟ I lean عَلَيْهَا upon it وَأَهُشُّ and I bring down leaves بِهَا with it عَلَىٰ for غَنَمِى my sheep وَلِىَ and for me فِيهَا in it مَـَٔارِبُ (are) uses أُخْرَىٰ other ١٨ (18)

Er sagte: „Es ist mein Stock, auf den ich mich stütze und mit dem ich für meine Schafe Blätter abschlage; und ich gebrauche ihn auch noch zu anderen Zwecken.

20:19

قَالَ He said أَلْقِهَا Throw it down يَـٰمُوسَىٰ O Musa ١٩ (19)

Er sagte: „Wirf ihn hin, o Musa!

20:20

فَأَلْقَىٰهَا So he threw it down فَإِذَا and behold هِىَ It حَيَّةٌۭ (was) a snake تَسْعَىٰ moving swiftly ٢٠ (20)

Er warf ihn hin, und sogleich war er eine Schlange, die sich rasch bewegte.

20:21

قَالَ He said خُذْهَا Seize it وَلَا and (do) not تَخَفْ ۖ fear سَنُعِيدُهَا We will return it سِيرَتَهَا (to) its state ٱلْأُولَىٰ the former ٢١ (21)

Er sagte: „Nimm sie, und fürchte dich nicht. Wir werden sie in ihren früheren Zustand zurückbringen.

20:22

وَٱضْمُمْ And draw near يَدَكَ your hand إِلَىٰ to جَنَاحِكَ your side تَخْرُجْ it will come out بَيْضَآءَ white مِنْ without any غَيْرِ without any سُوٓءٍ disease ءَايَةً (as) a sign أُخْرَىٰ another ٢٢ (22)

Und lege deine Hand dicht an deine Seite (, unter dem Oberarm), so kommt sie weiß heraus, jedoch nicht von Übel befallen. (Nimm dies) als weiteres Zeichen,

20:23

لِنُرِيَكَ That We may show you مِنْ of ءَايَـٰتِنَا Our Signs ٱلْكُبْرَى the Greatest ٢٣ (23)

auf daß Wir dich etwas von Unseren größten Zeichen sehen lassen.

20:24

ٱذْهَبْ Go إِلَىٰ to فِرْعَوْنَ Firaun إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he طَغَىٰ (has) transgressed ٢٤ (24)

Geh zu Fir’aun, denn gewiß, er überschreitet das Maß (an Frevel).

20:25

قَالَ He said رَبِّ My Lord ٱشْرَحْ Expand لِى for me صَدْرِى my breast ٢٥ (25)

Er sagte: „Mein Herr, weite mir meine Brust,

20:26

وَيَسِّرْ And ease لِىٓ for me أَمْرِى my task ٢٦ (26)

und mache mir meine Angelegenheit leicht.

20:27

وَٱحْلُلْ And untie عُقْدَةًۭ (the) knot مِّن from لِّسَانِى my tongue ٢٧ (27)

Und löse den Knoten in meiner Zunge,

20:28

يَفْقَهُوا۟ That they may understand قَوْلِى my speech ٢٨ (28)

so daß sie meine Worte verstehen.

20:29

وَٱجْعَل And appoint لِّى for me وَزِيرًۭا a minister مِّنْ from أَهْلِى my family ٢٩ (29)

Und bestelle mir von meinen Angehörigen einen, der (die Last) mitträgt,

20:30

هَـٰرُونَ Harun أَخِى my brother ٣٠ (30)

Harun, meinen Bruder.

20:31

ٱشْدُدْ Reinforce بِهِۦٓ through him أَزْرِى my strength ٣١ (31)

Festige durch ihn meine Stärke,

20:32

وَأَشْرِكْهُ And make him share فِىٓ [in] أَمْرِى my task ٣٢ (32)

und lasse ihn an meiner Angelegenheit teilhaben,

20:33

كَىْ That نُسَبِّحَكَ we may glorify You كَثِيرًۭا much ٣٣ (33)

damit wir Dich häufig preisen

20:34

وَنَذْكُرَكَ And [we] remember You كَثِيرًا much ٣٤ (34)

und Deiner häufig gedenken.

20:35

إِنَّكَ Indeed, [You] كُنتَ You are بِنَا of us بَصِيرًۭا All-Seer ٣٥ (35)

Gewiß, Du siehst uns wohl.

20:36

قَالَ He said قَدْ Verily أُوتِيتَ you are granted سُؤْلَكَ your request يَـٰمُوسَىٰ O Musa ٣٦ (36)

Er sagte: „Deine Bitte ist dir ja gewährt, o Musa!

20:37

وَلَقَدْ And indeed مَنَنَّا We conferred a favor عَلَيْكَ on you مَرَّةً another time أُخْرَىٰٓ another time ٣٧ (37)

Und Wir erwiesen dir bereits ein anderes Mal eine Wohltat,

20:38

إِذْ When أَوْحَيْنَآ We inspired إِلَىٰٓ to أُمِّكَ your mother مَا what يُوحَىٰٓ is inspired ٣٨ (38)

als Wir deiner Mutter eingaben, was (als Weisung) eingegeben werden sollte:

20:39

أَنِ That ٱقْذِفِيهِ cast him فِى in ٱلتَّابُوتِ the chest فَٱقْذِفِيهِ then cast it فِى in ٱلْيَمِّ the river فَلْيُلْقِهِ then let cast it ٱلْيَمُّ the river بِٱلسَّاحِلِ on the bank يَأْخُذْهُ will take him عَدُوٌّۭ an enemy لِّى to Me وَعَدُوٌّۭ and an enemy لَّهُۥ ۚ to him وَأَلْقَيْتُ And I cast عَلَيْكَ over you مَحَبَّةًۭ love مِّنِّى from Me وَلِتُصْنَعَ and that you may be brought up عَلَىٰ under عَيْنِىٓ My eye ٣٩ (39)

,Wirf ihn in den Kasten und wirf ihn ins Wasser’, und das Wasser soll ihn ans Ufer setzen, so daß ihn ein Feind von Mir und ein Feind von ihm aufnimmt. Und Ich habe auf dich Liebe von Mir gelegt - und damit du vor Meinem Auge aufgezogen würdest.

20:40

إِذْ When تَمْشِىٓ was going أُخْتُكَ your sister فَتَقُولُ and she said هَلْ Shall أَدُلُّكُمْ I show you عَلَىٰ [to] مَن (one) who يَكْفُلُهُۥ ۖ will nurse and rear him فَرَجَعْنَـٰكَ So We returned you إِلَىٰٓ to أُمِّكَ your mother كَىْ that تَقَرَّ may be cooled عَيْنُهَا her eyes وَلَا and not تَحْزَنَ ۚ she grieves وَقَتَلْتَ And you killed نَفْسًۭا a man فَنَجَّيْنَـٰكَ but We saved you مِنَ from ٱلْغَمِّ the distress وَفَتَنَّـٰكَ and We tried you فُتُونًۭا ۚ (with) a trial فَلَبِثْتَ Then you remained سِنِينَ (some) years فِىٓ with أَهْلِ (the) people مَدْيَنَ (of) Madyan ثُمَّ Then جِئْتَ you came عَلَىٰ at قَدَرٍۢ the decreed (time) يَـٰمُوسَىٰ O Musa ٤٠ (40)

Als deine Schwester hinging und sagte: ,Soll ich euch auf jemanden hinweisen, der ihn betreuen würde?’ So gaben Wir dich deiner Mutter wieder, damit sie frohen Mutes und nicht traurig sei. Und du tötetest eine Seele, und da erretteten Wir dich aus dem Kummer, und Wir unterzogen dich einer harten Prüfung. So verweiltest du jahrelang unter den Leuten von Madyan. Hierauf kamst du zu einer vorausbestimmten Zeit, o Musa.

20:41

وَٱصْطَنَعْتُكَ And I (have) chosen you لِنَفْسِى for Myself ٤١ (41)

Und Ich habe dich für Mich auserwählt.

20:42

ٱذْهَبْ Go أَنتَ you وَأَخُوكَ and your brother بِـَٔايَـٰتِى with My Signs وَلَا and (do) not تَنِيَا slacken فِى in ذِكْرِى My remembrance ٤٢ (42)

Geh, du und dein Bruder, mit Meinen Zeichen, und laßt nicht nach in Meinem Gedenken.

20:43

ٱذْهَبَآ Go, both of you إِلَىٰ to فِرْعَوْنَ Firaun إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he طَغَىٰ (has) transgressed ٤٣ (43)

Geht zu Fir’aun, denn er lehnt sich auf.

20:44

فَقُولَا And speak لَهُۥ to him قَوْلًۭا a word لَّيِّنًۭا gentle لَّعَلَّهُۥ perhaps he يَتَذَكَّرُ may take heed أَوْ or يَخْشَىٰ fear ٤٤ (44)

Und so redet mit ihm in sanften Worten, auf daß er bedenken oder sich fürchten möge.

20:45

قَالَا They said رَبَّنَآ Our Lord إِنَّنَا Indeed, we نَخَافُ fear أَن that يَفْرُطَ he will hasten عَلَيْنَآ against us أَوْ or أَن that يَطْغَىٰ he will transgress ٤٥ (45)

Sie sagten: „Unser Herr, gewiß, wir fürchten, daß er übereilig gegen uns vorgeht oder daß er das Maß überschreitet.

20:46

قَالَ He said لَا (Do) not تَخَافَآ ۖ fear إِنَّنِى Indeed, I Am مَعَكُمَآ with you both أَسْمَعُ I hear وَأَرَىٰ and I see ٤٦ (46)

Er sagte: „Fürchtet euch nicht. Ich bin gewiß mit euch, Ich höre und Ich sehe (, was geschieht).

20:47

فَأْتِيَاهُ So go to him فَقُولَآ and say إِنَّا Indeed, we رَسُولَا both (are) Messengers رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord فَأَرْسِلْ so send مَعَنَا with us بَنِىٓ (the) Children of Israel إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ (the) Children of Israel وَلَا and (do) not تُعَذِّبْهُمْ ۖ torment them قَدْ Verily جِئْنَـٰكَ we came to you بِـَٔايَةٍۢ with a Sign مِّن from رَّبِّكَ ۖ your Lord وَٱلسَّلَـٰمُ And peace عَلَىٰ on مَنِ (one) who ٱتَّبَعَ follows ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ the Guidance ٤٧ (47)

So kommt denn zu ihm und sagt: ,Wir beide sind Gesandte deines Herrn. Lasse die Kinder Isra’ils mit uns gehen, und strafe sie nicht. Wir sind ja mit einem Zeichen von deinem Herrn zu dir gekommen. Und Friede sei auf demjenigen, der der Rechtleitung folgt.

20:48

إِنَّا Indeed, we قَدْ verily أُوحِىَ it has been revealed إِلَيْنَآ to us أَنَّ that ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment عَلَىٰ (will be) on مَن (one) who كَذَّبَ denies وَتَوَلَّىٰ and turns away ٤٨ (48)

Uns ist ja (als Offenbarung) eingegeben worden, daß die Strafe denjenigen überkommt, der (die Botschaft) für Lüge erklärt und sich abkehrt’.

20:49

قَالَ He said فَمَن Then who رَّبُّكُمَا (is) your Lord يَـٰمُوسَىٰ O Musa ٤٩ (49)

Er sagte: „Wer ist denn euer beider Herr, o Musa?

20:50

قَالَ He said رَبُّنَا Our Lord ٱلَّذِىٓ (is) the One Who أَعْطَىٰ gave كُلَّ (to) every شَىْءٍ thing خَلْقَهُۥ its form ثُمَّ then هَدَىٰ He guided (it) ٥٠ (50)

Er sagte: „Unser Herr ist derjenige, der allem seine Natur gegeben und (es) hierauf rechtgeleitet hat.

20:51

قَالَ He said فَمَا Then what بَالُ (is the) case ٱلْقُرُونِ (of) the generations ٱلْأُولَىٰ (of) the former ٥١ (51)

Er sagte: „Wie steht es denn mit den früheren Geschlechtern?

20:52

قَالَ He said عِلْمُهَا Its knowledge عِندَ (is) with رَبِّى my Lord فِى in كِتَـٰبٍۢ ۖ a Record لَّا Not يَضِلُّ errs رَبِّى my Lord وَلَا and not يَنسَى forgets ٥٢ (52)

Er sagte: „Das Wissen um sie ist bei meinem Herrn in einem Buch. Mein Herr irrt nicht, noch vergißt Er.

20:53

ٱلَّذِى The One Who جَعَلَ made لَكُمُ for you ٱلْأَرْضَ the earth مَهْدًۭا (as) a bed وَسَلَكَ and inserted لَكُمْ for you فِيهَا therein سُبُلًۭا ways وَأَنزَلَ and sent down مِنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky مَآءًۭ water فَأَخْرَجْنَا then We (have) brought forth بِهِۦٓ with it أَزْوَٰجًۭا pairs مِّن of نَّبَاتٍۢ plants شَتَّىٰ diverse ٥٣ (53)

(Er ist es,) Der euch die Erde zu einer Lagerstatt gemacht und für euch auf ihr Wege sich hinziehen und vom Himmel Wasser herabkommen läßt, womit Wir dann Arten verschiedener Gewächse hervorbringen.

20:54

كُلُوا۟ Eat وَٱرْعَوْا۟ and pasture أَنْعَـٰمَكُمْ ۗ your cattle إِنَّ Indeed فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ surely (are) Signs لِّأُو۟لِى for possessors ٱلنُّهَىٰ (of) intelligence ٥٤ (54)

Eßt und weidet euer Vieh. Darin sind wahrlich Zeichen für Leute von Verstand.

20:55

۞ مِنْهَا From it خَلَقْنَـٰكُمْ We created you وَفِيهَا and in it نُعِيدُكُمْ We will return you وَمِنْهَا and from it نُخْرِجُكُمْ We will bring you out تَارَةً time أُخْرَىٰ another ٥٥ (55)

Aus ihr haben Wir euch erschaffen, und in sie bringen Wir euch zurück, und aus ihr bringen Wir euch ein anderes Mal hervor.

20:56

وَلَقَدْ And verily أَرَيْنَـٰهُ We showed him ءَايَـٰتِنَا Our Signs كُلَّهَا all of them فَكَذَّبَ but he denied وَأَبَىٰ and refused ٥٦ (56)

Und Wir zeigten ihm ja Unsere Zeichen alle, aber er erklärte (sie) für Lüge und weigerte sich.

20:57

قَالَ He said أَجِئْتَنَا Have you come to us لِتُخْرِجَنَا to drive us out مِنْ of أَرْضِنَا our land بِسِحْرِكَ with your magic يَـٰمُوسَىٰ O Musa ٥٧ (57)

Er sagte: „Bist du zu uns gekommen, um uns aus unserem Land mit deiner Zauberei zu vertreiben, o Musa?

20:58

فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّكَ Then we will surely produce for you بِسِحْرٍۢ magic مِّثْلِهِۦ like it فَٱجْعَلْ So make بَيْنَنَا between us وَبَيْنَكَ and between you مَوْعِدًۭا an appointment لَّا not نُخْلِفُهُۥ we will fail it نَحْنُ [we] وَلَآ and not أَنتَ you مَكَانًۭا (in) a place سُوًۭى even ٥٨ (58)

Aber wir werden dir ganz gewiß Zauberei gleicher Art bringen. So setze zwischen uns und dir eine Verabredung(szeit) fest, die weder wir noch du verfehlen werden, an einem Ort, der (uns allen) gleichermaßen recht ist.

20:59

قَالَ He said مَوْعِدُكُمْ Your appointment يَوْمُ (is on the) day ٱلزِّينَةِ (of) the festival وَأَن and that يُحْشَرَ will be assembled ٱلنَّاسُ the people ضُحًۭى (at) forenoon ٥٩ (59)

Er sagte: „Eure Verabredung(szeit) soll der Tag des Schmuckfestes sein, und die Menschen sollen am hellen Morgen versammelt werden.

20:60

فَتَوَلَّىٰ Then went away فِرْعَوْنُ Firaun فَجَمَعَ and put together كَيْدَهُۥ his plan ثُمَّ then أَتَىٰ came ٦٠ (60)

Und so kehrte sich Fir’aun ab, und dann nahm er seine ganze List zusammen. Hierauf kam er.

20:61

قَالَ Said لَهُم to them مُّوسَىٰ Musa وَيْلَكُمْ Woe to you لَا (Do) not تَفْتَرُوا۟ invent عَلَى against ٱللَّهِ Allah كَذِبًۭا a lie فَيُسْحِتَكُم lest He will destroy you بِعَذَابٍۢ ۖ with a punishment وَقَدْ And verily خَابَ he failed مَنِ who ٱفْتَرَىٰ invented ٦١ (61)

Musa sagte zu ihnen: „Wehe euch! Ersinnt gegen Allah keine Lüge, sonst vertilgt Er euch durch eine Strafe. Enttäuscht wird ja, wer Lügen ersinnt.

20:62

فَتَنَـٰزَعُوٓا۟ Then they disputed أَمْرَهُم (in) their affair بَيْنَهُمْ among them وَأَسَرُّوا۟ and they kept secret ٱلنَّجْوَىٰ the private conversation ٦٢ (62)

Da stritten sie untereinander über ihre Angelegenheit und führten insgeheim vertrauliche Gespräche.

20:63

قَالُوٓا۟ They said إِنْ Indeed هَـٰذَٰنِ these two لَسَـٰحِرَٰنِ [two] magicians يُرِيدَانِ they intend أَن that يُخْرِجَاكُم they drive you out مِّنْ of أَرْضِكُم your land بِسِحْرِهِمَا with their magic وَيَذْهَبَا and do away بِطَرِيقَتِكُمُ with your way ٱلْمُثْلَىٰ the exemplary ٦٣ (63)

Sie sagten: „Diese beiden sind wahrlich nur Zauberer, die euch aus eurem Land mit ihrem Zauber vertreiben und eure vorbildliche Lebensweise beseitigen wollen.

20:64

فَأَجْمِعُوا۟ So put together كَيْدَكُمْ your plan ثُمَّ then ٱئْتُوا۟ come صَفًّۭا ۚ (in) a line وَقَدْ And verily أَفْلَحَ (will be) successful ٱلْيَوْمَ today مَنِ who ٱسْتَعْلَىٰ overcomes ٦٤ (64)

So einigt euch auf eure List, hierauf kommt in Reihen. Und wohl ergehen wird es ja heute demjenigen, der die Oberhand gewinnt.

20:65

قَالُوا۟ They said يَـٰمُوسَىٰٓ O Musa إِمَّآ Either أَن [that] تُلْقِىَ you throw وَإِمَّآ or أَن [that] نَّكُونَ we will be أَوَّلَ the first مَنْ who أَلْقَىٰ throws ٦٥ (65)

Sie sagten: „O Musa, entweder wirfst du, oder wir werden es sein, die zuerst werfen.

20:66

قَالَ He said بَلْ Nay أَلْقُوا۟ ۖ you throw فَإِذَا Then behold حِبَالُهُمْ Their ropes وَعِصِيُّهُمْ and their staffs يُخَيَّلُ seemed إِلَيْهِ to him مِن by سِحْرِهِمْ their magic أَنَّهَا that they تَسْعَىٰ (were) moving ٦٦ (66)

Er sagte: „Nein! Vielmehr werft ihr (zuerst). Und sogleich kamen ihm ihre Stricke und Stöcke durch ihre Zauberei so vor, als ob sie sich rasch bewegten.

20:67

فَأَوْجَسَ So sensed فِى in نَفْسِهِۦ himself خِيفَةًۭ a fear مُّوسَىٰ Musa ٦٧ (67)

Und er, Musa, empfand Furcht in seiner Seele.

20:68

قُلْنَا We said لَا (Do) not تَخَفْ fear إِنَّكَ Indeed, you أَنتَ you ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ (will be) superior ٦٨ (68)

Wir sagten: „Fürchte dich nicht; du, ja gewiß du, wirst die Oberhand gewinnen.

20:69

وَأَلْقِ And throw مَا what فِى (is) in يَمِينِكَ your right hand تَلْقَفْ it will swallow up مَا what صَنَعُوٓا۟ ۖ they have made إِنَّمَا Only صَنَعُوا۟ they (have) made كَيْدُ a trick سَـٰحِرٍۢ ۖ (of) a magician وَلَا and not يُفْلِحُ will be successful ٱلسَّاحِرُ the magician حَيْثُ wherever أَتَىٰ he comes ٦٩ (69)

Wirf hin, was in deiner Rechten ist, so verschlingt es das, was sie gemacht haben. Was sie gemacht haben, ist nur die List eines Zauberers, und dem Zauberer wird es nicht wohl ergehen, wohin er auch kommen mag .

20:70

فَأُلْقِىَ So were thrown down ٱلسَّحَرَةُ the magicians سُجَّدًۭا prostrating قَالُوٓا۟ They said ءَامَنَّا We believe بِرَبِّ in (the) Lord هَـٰرُونَ (of) Harun وَمُوسَىٰ and Musa ٧٠ (70)

Da warfen sich die Zauberer ehrerbietig nieder. Sie sagten: „Wir glauben an den Herrn Haruns und Musas.

20:71

قَالَ He said ءَامَنتُمْ You believe لَهُۥ [to] him قَبْلَ before أَنْ [that] ءَاذَنَ I gave permission لَكُمْ ۖ to you إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he لَكَبِيرُكُمُ (is) your chief ٱلَّذِى the one who عَلَّمَكُمُ taught you ٱلسِّحْرَ ۖ the magic فَلَأُقَطِّعَنَّ So surely I will cut off أَيْدِيَكُمْ your hands وَأَرْجُلَكُم and your feet مِّنْ of خِلَـٰفٍۢ opposite sides وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ and surely I will crucify you فِى on جُذُوعِ (the) trunks ٱلنَّخْلِ (of) date-palms وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ and surely you will know أَيُّنَآ which of us أَشَدُّ (is) more severe عَذَابًۭا (in) punishment وَأَبْقَىٰ and more lasting ٧١ (71)

Er (Fir’aun) sagte: „Ihr glaubt an ihn, bevor ich es euch erlaube? Er ist wahrlich euer Ältester, der euch die Zauberei gelehrt hat. So werde ich ganz gewiß eure Hände und eure Füße wechselseitig abhacken und euch ganz gewiß an Palmstämmen kreuzigen (lassen). Und ihr werdet ganz gewiß erfahren, wer von uns strenger im Strafen und beständiger ist.

20:72

قَالُوا۟ They said لَن Never نُّؤْثِرَكَ we will prefer you عَلَىٰ over مَا what جَآءَنَا has come to us مِنَ of ٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ the clear proofs وَٱلَّذِى and the One Who فَطَرَنَا ۖ created us فَٱقْضِ So decree مَآ whatever أَنتَ you قَاضٍ ۖ (are) decreeing إِنَّمَا Only تَقْضِى you can decree هَـٰذِهِ (for) this ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ life ٱلدُّنْيَآ (of) the world ٧٢ (72)

Sie sagten: „Wir werden dich nicht dem vorziehen, was an klaren Beweisen zu uns gekommen ist, und (vor) Demjenigen, Der uns erschaffen hat. So entscheide, was du entscheiden magst; du entscheidest nur über dieses irdische Leben.

20:73

إِنَّآ Indeed, [we] ءَامَنَّا we believe بِرَبِّنَا in our Lord لِيَغْفِرَ that He may forgive لَنَا for us خَطَـٰيَـٰنَا our sins وَمَآ and what أَكْرَهْتَنَا you compelled us عَلَيْهِ on it مِنَ of ٱلسِّحْرِ ۗ the magic وَٱللَّهُ And Allah خَيْرٌۭ (is) Best وَأَبْقَىٰٓ and Ever Lasting ٧٣ (73)

Wir glauben an unseren Herrn, damit Er uns unsere Verfehlungen vergebe und (auch) die Zauberei, zu der du uns gezwungen hast. Allah ist besser und be ständiger.

20:74

إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, he مَن who يَأْتِ comes رَبَّهُۥ (to) his Lord مُجْرِمًۭا (as) a criminal فَإِنَّ then indeed لَهُۥ for him جَهَنَّمَ (is) Hell لَا Not يَمُوتُ he will die فِيهَا in it وَلَا and not يَحْيَىٰ live ٧٤ (74)

Gewiß, wer zu seinem Herrn als Übeltäter kommt, für den gibt es die Hölle; darin wird er weder sterben noch leben.

20:75

وَمَن But whoever يَأْتِهِۦ comes to Him مُؤْمِنًۭا (as) a believer قَدْ verily عَمِلَ he has done ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ the righteous deeds فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ then those لَهُمُ for them ٱلدَّرَجَـٰتُ (will be) the ranks ٱلْعُلَىٰ [the] high ٧٥ (75)

Wer zu Ihm als Gläubiger kommt, der rechtschaffene Werke getan hat, für jene gibt es die höchsten Rangstufen,

20:76

جَنَّـٰتُ Gardens عَدْنٍۢ (of) Eden تَجْرِى flows مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath them ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ the rivers خَـٰلِدِينَ abiding forever فِيهَا ۚ in it وَذَٰلِكَ And that جَزَآءُ (is) the reward مَن (for him) who تَزَكَّىٰ purifies himself ٧٦ (76)

die Gärten Edens, durcheilt von Bächen; ewig darin zu bleiben. Das ist der Lohn desjenigen, der sich läutert.

20:77

وَلَقَدْ And verily أَوْحَيْنَآ We inspired إِلَىٰ to مُوسَىٰٓ Musa أَنْ that أَسْرِ Travel by night بِعِبَادِى with My slaves فَٱضْرِبْ and strike لَهُمْ for them طَرِيقًۭا a path فِى in ٱلْبَحْرِ the sea يَبَسًۭا dry لَّا not تَخَـٰفُ fearing دَرَكًۭا to be overtaken وَلَا and not تَخْشَىٰ being afraid ٧٧ (77)

Und Wir gaben Musa ja (als Offenbarung) ein: „Zieh bei Nacht mit Meinen Dienern fort und schlage ihnen einen trockenen Weg durch das Meer; du befürchtest weder, eingeholt zu werden, noch hast du Angst’.

20:78

فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ Then followed them فِرْعَوْنُ Firaun بِجُنُودِهِۦ with his forces فَغَشِيَهُم but covered them مِّنَ from ٱلْيَمِّ the sea مَا what غَشِيَهُمْ covered them ٧٨ (78)

Da verfolgte sie Fir’aun mit seinen Heerscharen, und es überdeckte sie vom Meer, was sie überdeckte.

20:79

وَأَضَلَّ And led astray فِرْعَوْنُ Firaun قَوْمَهُۥ his people وَمَا and (did) not هَدَىٰ guide them ٧٩ (79)

Fir’aun hatte sein Volk in die Irre geführt und nicht rechtgeleitet.

20:80

يَـٰبَنِىٓ O Children of Israel إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ O Children of Israel قَدْ Verily أَنجَيْنَـٰكُم We delivered you مِّنْ from عَدُوِّكُمْ your enemy وَوَٰعَدْنَـٰكُمْ and We made a covenant with you جَانِبَ on (the) side ٱلطُّورِ (of) the Mount ٱلْأَيْمَنَ the right وَنَزَّلْنَا and We sent down عَلَيْكُمُ to you ٱلْمَنَّ the Manna وَٱلسَّلْوَىٰ and the quails ٨٠ (80)

O Kinder Isra’ils, Wir retteten euch ja vor eurem Feind, verabredeten Uns mit euch auf der rechten Seite des Berges und sandten das Manna und die Wachteln auf euch hinab:

20:81

كُلُوا۟ Eat مِن of طَيِّبَـٰتِ (the) good things مَا which رَزَقْنَـٰكُمْ We have provided you وَلَا and (do) not تَطْغَوْا۟ transgress فِيهِ therein فَيَحِلَّ lest should descend عَلَيْكُمْ upon you غَضَبِى ۖ My Anger وَمَن And whoever يَحْلِلْ on whom descends عَلَيْهِ on whom descends غَضَبِى My Anger فَقَدْ indeed هَوَىٰ he (has) perished ٨١ (81)

„Eßt von den guten Dingen, mit denen Wir euch versorgt haben, und lehnt euch dabei nicht (durch Undankbarkeit) auf, sonst bricht Mein Zorn über euch herein; denn derjenige, über den Mein Zorn hereinbricht, wird sicherlich stürzen.

20:82

وَإِنِّى But indeed, I Am لَغَفَّارٌۭ the Perpetual Forgiver لِّمَن of whoever تَابَ repents وَءَامَنَ and believes وَعَمِلَ and does صَـٰلِحًۭا righteous (deeds) ثُمَّ then ٱهْتَدَىٰ remains guided ٨٢ (82)

Und Ich bin wahrlich Allvergebend für denjenigen, der bereut und glaubt und rechtschaffen handelt und sich hierauf rechtleiten läßt.

20:83

۞ وَمَآ And what أَعْجَلَكَ made you hasten عَن from قَوْمِكَ your people يَـٰمُوسَىٰ O Musa ٨٣ (83)

„Und was hat dich veranlaßt, von deinem Volk fortzueilen, o Musa?

20:84

قَالَ He said هُمْ They أُو۟لَآءِ (are) close عَلَىٰٓ upon أَثَرِى my tracks وَعَجِلْتُ and I hastened إِلَيْكَ to you رَبِّ my Lord لِتَرْضَىٰ that You be pleased ٨٤ (84)

Er sagte: „Sie folgen mir doch auf der Spur. Und ich bin zu Dir geeilt, mein Herr, damit Du (mit mir) zufrieden seiest.

20:85

قَالَ He said فَإِنَّا But indeed, We قَدْ [verily] فَتَنَّا We (have) tried قَوْمَكَ your people مِنۢ after you بَعْدِكَ after you وَأَضَلَّهُمُ and has led them astray ٱلسَّامِرِىُّ the Samiri ٨٥ (85)

Er sagte: „Wir haben dein Volk der Versuchung ausgesetzt, nachdem du (weggegangen) warst, und der Samiri hat sie in die Irre geführt.

20:86

فَرَجَعَ Then Musa returned مُوسَىٰٓ Then Musa returned إِلَىٰ to قَوْمِهِۦ his people غَضْبَـٰنَ angry أَسِفًۭا ۚ (and) sorrowful قَالَ He said يَـٰقَوْمِ O my people أَلَمْ Did not يَعِدْكُمْ promise you رَبُّكُمْ your Lord وَعْدًا a promise حَسَنًا ۚ good أَفَطَالَ Then, did seem long عَلَيْكُمُ to you ٱلْعَهْدُ the promise أَمْ or أَرَدتُّمْ did you desire أَن that يَحِلَّ descend عَلَيْكُمْ upon you غَضَبٌۭ (the) Anger مِّن of رَّبِّكُمْ your Lord فَأَخْلَفْتُم so you broke مَّوْعِدِى (the) promise to me ٨٦ (86)

Da kam Musa zu seinem Volk zornig und bekümmert zurück. Er sagte: „O mein Volk, hat euch euer Herr nicht ein schönes Versprechen gegeben? Dauerte es euch mit dem Bund zu lange, oder wolltet ihr, daß Zorn von eurem Herrn über euch hereinbricht, so daß ihr die Vereinbarung mit mir gebrochen habt?

20:87

قَالُوا۟ They said مَآ Not أَخْلَفْنَا we broke مَوْعِدَكَ promise to you بِمَلْكِنَا by our will وَلَـٰكِنَّا but we حُمِّلْنَآ [we] were made to carry أَوْزَارًۭا burdens مِّن from زِينَةِ ornaments ٱلْقَوْمِ (of) the people فَقَذَفْنَـٰهَا so we threw them فَكَذَٰلِكَ and thus أَلْقَى threw ٱلسَّامِرِىُّ the Samiri ٨٧ (87)

Sie sagten: „Wir haben die Vereinbarung mit dir nicht aus unserem (eigenen) Willen gebrochen, sondern wir trugen (ganze) Lasten von den Schmucksachen des Volkes, und dann haben wir sie geworfen, und ebenso hat der Samiri (welche) hineingelegt.

20:88

فَأَخْرَجَ Then he brought forth لَهُمْ for them عِجْلًۭا a calf's جَسَدًۭا body لَّهُۥ it had خُوَارٌۭ a lowing sound فَقَالُوا۟ and they said هَـٰذَآ This إِلَـٰهُكُمْ (is) your god وَإِلَـٰهُ and the god مُوسَىٰ (of) Musa فَنَسِىَ but he forgot ٨٨ (88)

So brachte er ihnen ein Kalb hervor als Leib, das blökte. Sie sagten: ,Das ist euer Gott und der Gott Musas, aber er hat (es) vergessen’.

20:89

أَفَلَا Then, did not يَرَوْنَ they see أَلَّا that not يَرْجِعُ it (could) return إِلَيْهِمْ to them قَوْلًۭا a word وَلَا and not يَمْلِكُ possess لَهُمْ for them ضَرًّۭا any harm وَلَا and not نَفْعًۭا any benefit ٨٩ (89)

Sehen sie denn nicht, daß er ihnen kein Wort erwidert und ihnen weder Schaden noch Nutzen zu bringen vermag?

20:90

وَلَقَدْ And verily قَالَ (had) said لَهُمْ to them هَـٰرُونُ Harun مِن before قَبْلُ before يَـٰقَوْمِ O my people إِنَّمَا Only فُتِنتُم you are being tested بِهِۦ ۖ by it وَإِنَّ and indeed رَبَّكُمُ your Lord ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ (is) the Most Gracious فَٱتَّبِعُونِى so follow me وَأَطِيعُوٓا۟ and obey أَمْرِى my order ٩٠ (90)

Harun hatte ihnen ja bereits zuvor gesagt: „O mein Volk, ihr seid damit nur der Versuchung ausgesetzt worden. Gewiß, euer Herr ist der Allerbarmer; so folgt mir und gehorcht meinem Befehl.

20:91

قَالُوا۟ They said لَن Never نَّبْرَحَ we will cease عَلَيْهِ being devoted to it عَـٰكِفِينَ being devoted to it حَتَّىٰ until يَرْجِعَ returns إِلَيْنَا to us مُوسَىٰ Musa ٩١ (91)

Sie sagten: „Wir werden nicht davon ablassen, uns seiner Andacht hinzugeben, bis Musa zu uns zurückkehrt.

20:92

قَالَ He said يَـٰهَـٰرُونُ O Harun مَا What مَنَعَكَ prevented you إِذْ when رَأَيْتَهُمْ you saw them ضَلُّوٓا۟ going astray ٩٢ (92)

Er (Musa) sagte: „O Harun, was hat dich, als du sie irregehen sahst, davon abgehalten,

20:93

أَلَّا That not تَتَّبِعَنِ ۖ you follow me أَفَعَصَيْتَ Then, have you disobeyed أَمْرِى my order ٩٣ (93)

mir zu folgen? Hast du dich denn meinem Befehl widersetzt?

20:94

قَالَ He said يَبْنَؤُمَّ O son of my mother لَا (Do) not تَأْخُذْ seize (me) بِلِحْيَتِى by my beard وَلَا and not بِرَأْسِىٓ ۖ by my head إِنِّى Indeed, I خَشِيتُ [I] feared أَن that تَقُولَ you would say فَرَّقْتَ You caused division بَيْنَ between بَنِىٓ (the) Children of Israel إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ (the) Children of Israel وَلَمْ and not تَرْقُبْ you respect قَوْلِى my word ٩٤ (94)

Er sagte: „O Sohn meiner Mutter, pack mich nicht am Bart und nicht am Kopf. Ich fürchtete, du würdest sagen: ,Du hast unter den Kindern Isra’ils Zwietracht gestiftet und mein Wort nicht beachtet’.

20:95

قَالَ He said فَمَا Then what خَطْبُكَ (is) your case يَـٰسَـٰمِرِىُّ O Samiri ٩٥ (95)

Er sagte: „Doch was ist mit dir, o Samiri?

20:96

قَالَ He said بَصُرْتُ I perceived بِمَا what لَمْ not يَبْصُرُوا۟ they perceive بِهِۦ in it فَقَبَضْتُ so I took قَبْضَةًۭ a handful مِّنْ from أَثَرِ (the) track ٱلرَّسُولِ (of) the Messenger فَنَبَذْتُهَا then threw it وَكَذَٰلِكَ and thus سَوَّلَتْ suggested لِى to me نَفْسِى my soul ٩٦ (96)

Er sagte: „Ich gewahrte, was sie nicht gewahrten, und so faßte ich eine Handvoll (Erde) von der Spur des Gesandten und warf sie dann hin (ins Feuer). So habe ich es mir selbst eingeredet.

20:97

قَالَ He said فَٱذْهَبْ Then go فَإِنَّ And indeed لَكَ for you فِى in ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ the life أَن that تَقُولَ you will say لَا (Do) not مِسَاسَ ۖ touch وَإِنَّ And indeed لَكَ for you مَوْعِدًۭا (is) an appointment لَّن never تُخْلَفَهُۥ ۖ you will fail to (keep) it وَٱنظُرْ And look إِلَىٰٓ at إِلَـٰهِكَ your god ٱلَّذِى that which ظَلْتَ you have remained عَلَيْهِ to it عَاكِفًۭا ۖ devoted لَّنُحَرِّقَنَّهُۥ Surely we will burn it ثُمَّ then لَنَنسِفَنَّهُۥ certainly we will scatter it فِى in ٱلْيَمِّ the sea نَسْفًا (in) particles ٩٧ (97)

Er sagte:„Geh weg! Es ist dir im Leben beschieden, zu sagen: ,Berührt mich nicht! Und du hast eine Verabredung, die dir nicht gebrochen wird. Und schau auf deinen Gott, dessen Andacht du dich dauernd hingegeben hast. Wir werden ihn ganz gewiß verbrennen, und hierauf werden wir ihn ganz gewiß in das große Gewässer streuen.

20:98

إِنَّمَآ Only إِلَـٰهُكُمُ your God ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah ٱلَّذِى the One لَآ (there is) no إِلَـٰهَ god إِلَّا but هُوَ ۚ He وَسِعَ He has encompassed كُلَّ all شَىْءٍ things عِلْمًۭا (in) knowledge ٩٨ (98)

Euer Gott ist allein Allah, außer Dem es keinen Gott gibt. Er umfaßt alles mit (Seinem) Wissen.

20:99

كَذَٰلِكَ Thus نَقُصُّ We relate عَلَيْكَ to you مِنْ from أَنۢبَآءِ (the) news مَا (of) what قَدْ has preceded سَبَقَ ۚ has preceded وَقَدْ And certainly ءَاتَيْنَـٰكَ We have given you مِن from لَّدُنَّا Us ذِكْرًۭا a Reminder ٩٩ (99)

Auf diese Weise erzählen Wir dir (einiges) von den Berichten dessen, was früher geschah. Und Wir haben dir ja von Uns aus eine Ermahnung gegeben.

20:100

مَّنْ Whoever أَعْرَضَ turns away عَنْهُ from it فَإِنَّهُۥ then indeed, he يَحْمِلُ will bear يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ (of) Resurrection وِزْرًا a burden ١٠٠ (100)

Wer sich davon abwendet, der wird am Tag der Auferstehung eine (drückende) Last tragen,

20:101

خَـٰلِدِينَ Abiding forever فِيهِ ۖ in it وَسَآءَ and evil لَهُمْ for them يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection حِمْلًۭا (as) a load ١٠١ (101)

ewig darin zu bleiben. Wie böse wird (dies) für sie am Tag der Auferstehung als Last sein!

20:102

يَوْمَ (The) Day يُنفَخُ will be blown فِى in ٱلصُّورِ ۚ the Trumpet وَنَحْشُرُ and We will gather ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ the criminals يَوْمَئِذٍۢ that Day زُرْقًۭا blue-eyed ١٠٢ (102)

Am Tag, da ins Horn geblasen wird und Wir die Übeltäter als Leute mit blauen Augen versammeln.

20:103

يَتَخَـٰفَتُونَ They are murmuring بَيْنَهُمْ among themselves إِن Not لَّبِثْتُمْ you remained إِلَّا except (for) عَشْرًۭا ten ١٠٣ (103)

Sie flüstern einander zu: „Ihr habt nur zehn (Nächte) verweilt.

20:104

نَّحْنُ We أَعْلَمُ know best بِمَا what يَقُولُونَ they will say إِذْ when يَقُولُ will say أَمْثَلُهُمْ (the) best of them طَرِيقَةً (in) conduct إِن Not لَّبِثْتُمْ you remained إِلَّا except (for) يَوْمًۭا a day ١٠٤ (104)

Wir wissen sehr wohl, was sie sagen, wenn der Vorbildlichste von ihnen in seinem Verhalten sagen wird: „Ihr habt nur einen Tag verweilt.

20:105

وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ And they ask you عَنِ about ٱلْجِبَالِ the mountains فَقُلْ so say يَنسِفُهَا Will blast them رَبِّى my Lord نَسْفًۭا (into) particles ١٠٥ (105)

Sie fragen dich nach den Bergen. Sag: Mein Herr wird sie wie Staub zerstreuen

20:106

فَيَذَرُهَا Then He will leave it قَاعًۭا a level صَفْصَفًۭا plain ١٠٦ (106)

und sie dann als leere Ebene zurücklassen,

20:107

لَّا Not تَرَىٰ you will see فِيهَا in it عِوَجًۭا any crookedness وَلَآ and not أَمْتًۭا any curve ١٠٧ (107)

worauf du weder eine Vertiefung noch Erhebung siehst.

20:108

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ On that Day يَتَّبِعُونَ they will follow ٱلدَّاعِىَ the caller لَا no عِوَجَ deviation لَهُۥ ۖ from it وَخَشَعَتِ And (will be) humbled ٱلْأَصْوَاتُ the voices لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ for the Most Gracious فَلَا so not تَسْمَعُ you will hear إِلَّا except هَمْسًۭا a faint sound ١٠٨ (108)

An jenem Tag folgen sie dem Rufer, bei dem es nichts Krummes gibt; die Stimmen senken sich in Demut vor dem Allerbarmer, so daß du nichts hörst außer Flüstern.

20:109

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ (On) that Day لَّا not تَنفَعُ will benefit ٱلشَّفَـٰعَةُ the intercession إِلَّا except مَنْ (to) whom أَذِنَ has given permission لَهُ [to him] ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ the Most Gracious وَرَضِىَ and He has accepted لَهُۥ for him قَوْلًۭا a word ١٠٩ (109)

An jenem Tag nützt die Fürsprache nicht, außer durch denjenigen, dem es der Allerbarmer erlaubt und mit dessen Worten Er zufrieden ist.

20:110

يَعْلَمُ He knows مَا what بَيْنَ (is) before them أَيْدِيهِمْ (is) before them وَمَا and what خَلْفَهُمْ (is) behind them وَلَا while not يُحِيطُونَ they encompass بِهِۦ it عِلْمًۭا (in) knowledge ١١٠ (110)

Er weiß, was vor ihnen und was hinter ihnen liegt, sie aber umfassen es nicht mit (ihrem) Wissen.

20:111

۞ وَعَنَتِ And (will be) humbled ٱلْوُجُوهُ the faces لِلْحَىِّ before the Ever-Living ٱلْقَيُّومِ ۖ the Self-Subsisting وَقَدْ And verily خَابَ will have failed مَنْ (he) who حَمَلَ carried ظُلْمًۭا wrongdoing ١١١ (111)

Demütig werden sich die Gesichter vor dem Lebendigen und Beständigen senken. Und wirklich enttäuscht wird, wer (als Last begangenes) Unrecht trägt.

20:112

وَمَن But (he) who يَعْمَلْ does مِنَ of ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ the righteous deeds وَهُوَ while he مُؤْمِنٌۭ (is) a believer فَلَا then not يَخَافُ he will fear ظُلْمًۭا injustice وَلَا and not هَضْمًۭا deprivation ١١٢ (112)

Wer aber etwas an rechtschaffenen Werken tut und dabei gläubig ist, der wird kein Unrecht und keine (Lohn)minderung befürchten.

20:113

وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ We have sent it down قُرْءَانًا (the) Quran عَرَبِيًّۭا (in) Arabic وَصَرَّفْنَا and We have explained فِيهِ in it مِنَ of ٱلْوَعِيدِ the warnings لَعَلَّهُمْ that they may يَتَّقُونَ fear أَوْ or يُحْدِثُ it may cause لَهُمْ [for] them ذِكْرًۭا remembrance ١١٣ (113)

Und so haben Wir ihn als einen arabischen Qur’an hinabgesandt. Und Wir haben darin verschiedene Androhungen dargelegt, auf daß sie gottesfürchtig werden mögen oder er bei ihnen Gedenken (Allahs) hervorrufe.

20:114

فَتَعَـٰلَى So high (above all) ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah ٱلْمَلِكُ the King ٱلْحَقُّ ۗ the True وَلَا And (do) not تَعْجَلْ hasten بِٱلْقُرْءَانِ with the Quran مِن before قَبْلِ before أَن [that] يُقْضَىٰٓ is completed إِلَيْكَ to you وَحْيُهُۥ ۖ its revelation وَقُل and say رَّبِّ My Lord زِدْنِى Increase me عِلْمًۭا (in) knowledge ١١٤ (114)

Erhaben ist Allah, der König, der Wahre! Und übereile dich nicht mit dem Qur’an, bevor dir seine Offenbarung vollständig eingegeben worden ist. Und sag: Mein Herr, lasse mich an Wissen zunehmen.

20:115

وَلَقَدْ And verily عَهِدْنَآ We made a covenant إِلَىٰٓ with ءَادَمَ Adam مِن before قَبْلُ before فَنَسِىَ but he forgot وَلَمْ and not نَجِدْ We found لَهُۥ in him عَزْمًۭا determination ١١٥ (115)

Und Wir hatten bereits zuvor Adam eine Verpflichtung auferlegt. Aber er vergaß (sie), und Wir fanden bei ihm keine Entschlossenheit.

20:116

وَإِذْ And when قُلْنَا We said لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ to the Angels ٱسْجُدُوا۟ Prostrate لِـَٔادَمَ to Adam فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ then they prostrated إِلَّآ except إِبْلِيسَ Iblis أَبَىٰ he refused ١١٦ (116)

Und als Wir zu den Engeln sagten: „Werft euch vor Adam nieder. Da warfen sie sich nieder, außer Iblis. Er weigerte sich.

20:117

فَقُلْنَا Then We said يَـٰٓـَٔادَمُ O Adam إِنَّ Indeed هَـٰذَا this عَدُوٌّۭ (is) an enemy لَّكَ to you وَلِزَوْجِكَ and to your wife فَلَا So not يُخْرِجَنَّكُمَا (let) him drive you both مِنَ from ٱلْجَنَّةِ Paradise فَتَشْقَىٰٓ so (that) you would suffer ١١٧ (117)

Da sagten Wir: „O Adam, dieser (da) ist dir und deiner Gattin gewiß ein Feind. Daß er euch beide ja nicht aus dem (Paradies)garten vertreibt! Sonst wirst du unglücklich sein.

20:118

إِنَّ Indeed لَكَ for you أَلَّا that not تَجُوعَ you will be hungry فِيهَا therein وَلَا and not تَعْرَىٰ you will be unclothed ١١٨ (118)

Gewiß, es ist dir gewährt, daß du darin weder hungerst noch nackt bist,

20:119

وَأَنَّكَ And that you لَا not تَظْمَؤُا۟ will suffer from thirst فِيهَا therein وَلَا and not تَضْحَىٰ exposed to the sun's heat ١١٩ (119)

und daß du darin weder dürstest noch Sonnenhitze erleidest.

20:120

فَوَسْوَسَ Then whispered إِلَيْهِ to him ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ Shaitaan قَالَ he said يَـٰٓـَٔادَمُ O Adam هَلْ Shall أَدُلُّكَ I direct you عَلَىٰ to شَجَرَةِ (the) tree ٱلْخُلْدِ (of) the Eternity وَمُلْكٍۢ and a kingdom لَّا not يَبْلَىٰ (that will) deteriorate ١٢٠ (120)

Aber da flüsterte ihm der Satan ein und sagte: „O Adam, soll ich dich auf den Baum der Ewigkeit hinweisen und auf eine Herrschaft, die nicht vergeht?

20:121

فَأَكَلَا Then they both ate مِنْهَا from it فَبَدَتْ so became apparent لَهُمَا to them سَوْءَٰتُهُمَا their shame وَطَفِقَا and they began يَخْصِفَانِ (to) fasten عَلَيْهِمَا on themselves مِن from وَرَقِ (the) leaves ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۚ (of) Paradise وَعَصَىٰٓ And Adam disobeyed ءَادَمُ And Adam disobeyed رَبَّهُۥ his Lord فَغَوَىٰ and erred ١٢١ (121)

So aßen sie beide davon, und da zeigte sich ihnen ihre Blöße offenkundig, und sie begannen, Blätter des (Paradies)gartens auf sich zusammenzuheften. So widersetzte Adam sich seinem Herrn, und da fiel er in Verirrung.

20:122

ثُمَّ Then ٱجْتَبَـٰهُ chose him رَبُّهُۥ his Lord فَتَابَ and turned عَلَيْهِ to him وَهَدَىٰ and guided (him) ١٢٢ (122)

Hierauf erwählte ihn sein Herr, und so wandte Er Sich ihm Reue annehmend zu und leitete (ihn) recht.

20:123

قَالَ He said ٱهْبِطَا Go down مِنْهَا from it جَمِيعًۢا ۖ all بَعْضُكُمْ some of you لِبَعْضٍ to others عَدُوٌّۭ ۖ (as) enemy فَإِمَّا Then if يَأْتِيَنَّكُم comes to you مِّنِّى from Me هُدًۭى guidance فَمَنِ then whoever ٱتَّبَعَ follows هُدَاىَ My guidance فَلَا then not يَضِلُّ he will go astray وَلَا and not يَشْقَىٰ suffer ١٢٣ (123)

Er sagte: „Geht alle fort von ihm. Einige von euch seien des anderen Feind. Doch wenn dann von Mir Rechtleitung zu euch kommt, dann wird derjenige, der Meiner Rechtleitung folgt, nicht irregehen und nicht unglücklich sein.

20:124

وَمَنْ And whoever أَعْرَضَ turns away عَن from ذِكْرِى My remembrance فَإِنَّ then indeed لَهُۥ for him مَعِيشَةًۭ (is) a life ضَنكًۭا straitened وَنَحْشُرُهُۥ and We will gather him يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection أَعْمَىٰ blind ١٢٤ (124)

Wer sich aber von Meiner Ermahnung abwendet, der wird ein beengtes Leben führen, und Wir werden ihn am Tag der Auferstehung blind (zu den anderen) versammeln.

20:125

قَالَ He will say رَبِّ My Lord لِمَ Why حَشَرْتَنِىٓ You raised me أَعْمَىٰ blind وَقَدْ while [verily] كُنتُ I had بَصِيرًۭا sight ١٢٥ (125)

Er wird sagen: „Mein Herr, warum hast Du mich blind (zu den anderen) versammelt, wo ich doch sehen konnte?

20:126

قَالَ He will say كَذَٰلِكَ Thus أَتَتْكَ came to you ءَايَـٰتُنَا Our Signs فَنَسِيتَهَا ۖ but you forgot them وَكَذَٰلِكَ and thus ٱلْيَوْمَ today تُنسَىٰ you will be forgotten ١٢٦ (126)

Er sagt: „So sind auch zu dir Unsere Zeichen gekommen, und doch hast du sie vergessen. Ebenso wirst du heute vergessen.

20:127

وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus نَجْزِى We recompense مَنْ (he) who أَسْرَفَ transgresses وَلَمْ and not يُؤْمِنۢ believes بِـَٔايَـٰتِ in (the) Signs رَبِّهِۦ ۚ (of) his Lord وَلَعَذَابُ And surely (the) punishment ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ (of) the Hereafter أَشَدُّ (is) more severe وَأَبْقَىٰٓ and more lasting ١٢٧ (127)

So vergelten Wir demjenigen, der maßlos ist und nicht an die Zeichen seines Herrn glaubt. Die Strafe des Jenseits ist wahrlich strenger und nachhaltiger.

20:128

أَفَلَمْ Then has not يَهْدِ it guided لَهُمْ [for] them كَمْ how many أَهْلَكْنَا We (have) destroyed قَبْلَهُم before them مِّنَ of ٱلْقُرُونِ the generations يَمْشُونَ (as) they walk فِى in مَسَـٰكِنِهِمْ ۗ their dwellings إِنَّ Indeed فِى in ذَٰلِكَ that لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ surely (are) Signs لِّأُو۟لِى for possessors ٱلنُّهَىٰ (of) intelligence ١٢٨ (128)

Ist ihnen denn nicht deutlich geworden, wie viele Geschlechter Wir vor ihnen vernichtet haben, in deren Wohnorten sie (nun) umhergehen? Darin sind wahrlich Zeichen für Leute von Verstand.

20:129

وَلَوْلَا And if not كَلِمَةٌۭ (for) a Word سَبَقَتْ (that) preceded مِن from رَّبِّكَ your Lord لَكَانَ surely (would) have been لِزَامًۭا an obligation وَأَجَلٌۭ and a term مُّسَمًّۭى determined ١٢٩ (129)

Wenn es nicht ein schon früher ergangenes Wort von deinem Herrn und eine festgesetzte Frist gäbe, wäre (die sofortige Strafe) fürwahr unabwendbar.

20:130

فَٱصْبِرْ So be patient عَلَىٰ over مَا what يَقُولُونَ they say وَسَبِّحْ and glorify بِحَمْدِ with praise رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord قَبْلَ before طُلُوعِ (the) rising ٱلشَّمْسِ (of) the sun وَقَبْلَ and before غُرُوبِهَا ۖ its setting وَمِنْ and from ءَانَآئِ (the) hours ٱلَّيْلِ (of) the night فَسَبِّحْ and glorify وَأَطْرَافَ (at the) ends ٱلنَّهَارِ (of) the day لَعَلَّكَ so that you may تَرْضَىٰ be satisfied ١٣٠ (130)

So ertrage standhaft, was sie sagen, und lobpreise deinen Herrn vor dem Aufgang der Sonne und vor ihrem Untergang, und zu (verschiedenen) Stunden der Nacht preise (Ihn) und (ebenso) an den Enden des Tages, auf daß du zufrieden sein mögest.

20:131

وَلَا And (do) not تَمُدَّنَّ extend عَيْنَيْكَ your eyes إِلَىٰ towards مَا what مَتَّعْنَا We have given for enjoyment بِهِۦٓ [with it] أَزْوَٰجًۭا pairs مِّنْهُمْ of them زَهْرَةَ (the) splendor ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ (of) the life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world لِنَفْتِنَهُمْ that We may test them فِيهِ ۚ in it وَرِزْقُ And (the) provision رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord خَيْرٌۭ (is) better وَأَبْقَىٰ and more lasting ١٣١ (131)

Und richte nur nicht deine Augen auf das, was Wir manchen von ihnen paarweise als Nießbrauch gewähren - den Glanz des diesseitigen Lebens -, um sie darin der Versuchung auszusetzen. Die Versorgung deines Herrn ist besser und beständiger.

20:132

وَأْمُرْ And enjoin أَهْلَكَ (on) your family بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ the prayer وَٱصْطَبِرْ and be steadfast عَلَيْهَا ۖ therein لَا Not نَسْـَٔلُكَ We ask you رِزْقًۭا ۖ (for) provision نَّحْنُ We نَرْزُقُكَ ۗ provide (for) you وَٱلْعَـٰقِبَةُ and the outcome لِلتَّقْوَىٰ (is) for the righteous[ness] ١٣٢ (132)

Und befiehl deinen Angehörigen, das Gebet (zu verrichten), und sei beharrlich darin. Wir fordern keine Versorgung von dir; Wir versorgen dich. Und das (gute) Ende gehört der Gottesfurcht.

20:133

وَقَالُوا۟ And they say لَوْلَا Why not يَأْتِينَا he brings us بِـَٔايَةٍۢ a sign مِّن from رَّبِّهِۦٓ ۚ his Lord أَوَلَمْ Has not تَأْتِهِم come to them بَيِّنَةُ evidence مَا (of) what فِى (was) in ٱلصُّحُفِ the Scriptures ٱلْأُولَىٰ the former ١٣٣ (133)

Und sie sagen: „Wenn er uns doch ein Zeichen von seinem Herrn bringen würde! Ist nicht zu ihnen der klare Beweis dessen gekommen, was auf den früheren Blättern steht?

20:134

وَلَوْ And if أَنَّآ We أَهْلَكْنَـٰهُم (had) destroyed them بِعَذَابٍۢ with a punishment مِّن before him قَبْلِهِۦ before him لَقَالُوا۟ surely they (would) have said رَبَّنَا Our Lord لَوْلَآ why not أَرْسَلْتَ You sent إِلَيْنَا to us رَسُولًۭا a Messenger فَنَتَّبِعَ so we (could) have followed ءَايَـٰتِكَ Your signs مِن before قَبْلِ before أَن [that] نَّذِلَّ we were humiliated وَنَخْزَىٰ and disgraced ١٣٤ (134)

Hätten Wir sie vor ihm durch eine Strafe vernichtet, hätten sie fürwahr gesagt: „Unser Herr, hättest Du doch einen Gesandten zu uns gesandt, so daß wir Deinen Zeichen hätten folgen können, bevor wir erniedrigt und in Schande gestürzt würden!

20:135

قُلْ Say كُلٌّۭ Each مُّتَرَبِّصٌۭ (is) waiting فَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ ۖ so await فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ Then you will know مَنْ who أَصْحَـٰبُ (are the) companions ٱلصِّرَٰطِ (of) the way ٱلسَّوِىِّ [the] even وَمَنِ and who ٱهْتَدَىٰ is guided ١٣٥ (135)

Sag: Jeder wartet ab; so wartet auch (ihr) ab. Dann werdet ihr (noch) erfahren, wer die Leute des ebenen Weges sind und wer rechtgeleitet ist.
