البروج

La sourate Al-Buruj (البروج) est le 85e chapitre du Saint Coran — une sourate Mecquoise de 22 versets. Les sourates mecquoises ont été révélées avant l'émigration du Prophète Muhammad (paix sur lui) à Médine et mettent souvent l'accent sur la foi, l'unicité de Dieu et l'au-delà.

Bismillah
بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
85:1
وَٱلسَّمَآءِBy the skywal-samāiذَاتِcontainingdhātiٱلْبُرُوجِthe constellationsl-burūji١
Par le ciel aux constellations !
85:2
وَٱلْيَوْمِAnd the Daywal-yawmiٱلْمَوْعُودِPromisedl-mawʿūdi٢
et par le jour promis !
85:3
وَشَاهِدٍۢAnd (the) witnesswashāhidinوَمَشْهُودٍۢand what is witnessedwamashhūdin٣
et par le témoin et ce dont on témoigne !
85:4
قُتِلَDestroyed werequtilaأَصْحَـٰبُ(the) companionsaṣḥābuٱلْأُخْدُودِ(of) the pitl-ukh'dūdi٤
Périssent les gens ceux [qui creusèrent ] des fossés (Al Ukhdûd) ,
85:5
ٱلنَّارِ(Of) the fireal-nāriذَاتِfulldhātiٱلْوَقُودِ(of) the fuell-waqūdi٥
au feu plein de combustible,
85:6
إِذْWhenidhهُمْtheyhumعَلَيْهَاby itʿalayhāقُعُودٌۭ(were) sittingquʿūdun٦
cependant qu’ils étaient assis tout autour,
85:7
وَهُمْAnd theywahumعَلَىٰoverʿalāمَاwhatmāيَفْعَلُونَthey were doingyafʿalūnaبِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَto the believersbil-mu'minīnaشُهُودٌۭwitnessesshuhūdun٧
ils étaient ainsi témoins de ce qu’ils faisaient des croyants,
85:8
وَمَاAnd notwamāنَقَمُوا۟they resentednaqamūمِنْهُمْ[of] themmin'humإِلَّآexceptillāأَنthatanيُؤْمِنُوا۟they believedyu'minūبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiٱلْعَزِيزِthe All-Mightyl-ʿazīziٱلْحَمِيدِthe Praiseworthyl-ḥamīdi٨
à qui ils ne leur reprochaient que d’avoir cru en Allah, le Puissant, le Digne de louange,
85:9
ٱلَّذِىThe One Whoalladhīلَهُۥfor Himlahuمُلْكُ(is) the dominionmul'kuٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚand the earthwal-arḍiوَٱللَّهُand Allahwal-lahuعَلَىٰonʿalāكُلِّeverykulliشَىْءٍۢthingshayinشَهِيدٌ(is) a Witnessshahīdun٩
Auquel appartient la royauté des cieux et de la Terre. Allah est témoin de toute chose.
85:10
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaفَتَنُوا۟persecutedfatanūٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believing menl-mu'minīnaوَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِand the believing womenwal-mu'minātiثُمَّthenthummaلَمْnotlamيَتُوبُوا۟they repentedyatūbūفَلَهُمْthen for themfalahumعَذَابُ(is the) punishmentʿadhābuجَهَنَّمَ(of) Helljahannamaوَلَهُمْand for themwalahumعَذَابُ(is the) punishmentʿadhābuٱلْحَرِيقِ(of) the Burning Firel-ḥarīqi١٠
Ceux qui font subir des épreuves aux croyants et aux croyantes, puis ne se repentent pas, auront le châtiment de l’Enfer et le supplice du feu.
85:11
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and dowaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِthe righteous deedsl-ṣāliḥātiلَهُمْfor themlahumجَنَّـٰتٌۭ(will be) Gardensjannātunتَجْرِىflowtajrīمِنfromminتَحْتِهَاunderneath ittaḥtihāٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۚthe riversl-anhāruذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaٱلْفَوْزُ(is) the successl-fawzuٱلْكَبِيرُthe greatl-kabīru١١
Ceux qui croient et accomplissent les bonnes œuvres auront des Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux. Cela est le grand succès.
85:12
إِنَّIndeedinnaبَطْشَ(the) Gripbaṭshaرَبِّكَ(of) your Lordrabbikaلَشَدِيدٌ(is) surely stronglashadīdun١٢
La riposte de ton Seigneur est redoutable.
85:13
إِنَّهُۥIndeed HeinnahuهُوَHehuwaيُبْدِئُoriginatesyub'di-uوَيُعِيدُand repeatswayuʿīdu١٣
C’est Lui, certes, qui commence (la création) et la refait.
85:14
وَهُوَAnd Hewahuwaٱلْغَفُورُ(is) the Oft-Forgivingl-ghafūruٱلْوَدُودُthe Most Lovingl-wadūdu١٤
Et c’est Lui le Pardonneur, le Tout Affectueux,
85:15
ذُوOwner (of)dhūٱلْعَرْشِthe Thronel-ʿarshiٱلْمَجِيدُthe Gloriousl-majīdu١٥
Le Maître du Trône, le Tout Glorieux,
85:16
فَعَّالٌۭDoerfaʿʿālunلِّمَاof whatlimāيُرِيدُHe intendsyurīdu١٦
Il réalise parfaitement tout ce qu’Il veut.
85:17
هَلْHashalأَتَىٰكَcome to youatākaحَدِيثُ(the) storyḥadīthuٱلْجُنُودِ(of) the hostsl-junūdi١٧
T’est-il parvenu le récit des armées,
85:18
فِرْعَوْنَFiraunfir'ʿawnaوَثَمُودَand Thamudwathamūda١٨
de Pharaon, et de Thamûd ?
85:19
بَلِNaybaliٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūفِى(are) infīتَكْذِيبٍۢdenialtakdhībin١٩
Mais ceux qui ne croient pas persistent à démentir,
85:20
وَٱللَّهُBut Allahwal-lahuمِنfromminوَرَآئِهِمbehind themwarāihimمُّحِيطٌۢencompassesmuḥīṭun٢٠
alors qu’Allah, derrière eux, les cerne de toutes parts.
85:21
بَلْNaybalهُوَIthuwaقُرْءَانٌۭ(is) a Quranqur'ānunمَّجِيدٌۭGloriousmajīdun٢١
Mais c’est plutôt un Coran glorifié.
85:22
فِىInfīلَوْحٍۢa TabletlawḥinمَّحْفُوظٍۭGuardedmaḥfūẓin٢٢
préservé sur une Tablette (auprès d’Allah).
