الحديد

La sourate Al-Hadid (الحديد) est le 57e chapitre du Saint Coran — une sourate Médinoise de 29 versets. Les sourates médinoises ont été révélées après l'émigration à Médine et traitent plus souvent du culte, de la loi et de la vie de la communauté musulmane.

Bismillah
بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
57:1
سَبَّحَGlorifiessabbaḥaلِلَّهِ[to] Allahlillahiمَاwhatevermāفِى(is) infīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖand the earthwal-arḍiوَهُوَand Hewahuwaٱلْعَزِيزُ(is) the All-Mightyl-ʿazīzuٱلْحَكِيمُthe All-Wisel-ḥakīmu١
Tout ce qui est dans les cieux et la terre glorifie Allah. Et c’est Lui le Puissant, le Sage.
57:2
لَهُۥFor Himlahuمُلْكُ(is the) dominionmul'kuٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖand the earthwal-arḍiيُحْىِۦHe gives lifeyuḥ'yīوَيُمِيتُ ۖand causes deathwayumītuوَهُوَand Hewahuwaعَلَىٰ(is) overʿalāكُلِّallkulliشَىْءٍۢthingsshayinقَدِيرٌAll-Powerfulqadīrun٢
A Lui appartient la souveraineté des cieux et de la terre. Il fait vivre et il fait mourir, et Il est Omnipotent.
57:3
هُوَHehuwaٱلْأَوَّلُ(is) the Firstl-awaluوَٱلْـَٔاخِرُand the Lastwal-ākhiruوَٱلظَّـٰهِرُand the Apparentwal-ẓāhiruوَٱلْبَاطِنُ ۖand the Unapparentwal-bāṭinuوَهُوَand Hewahuwaبِكُلِّ(is) of everybikulliشَىْءٍthingshayinعَلِيمٌAll-Knowerʿalīmun٣
C’est Lui le Premier et le Dernier, l’Apparent et le Caché et Il est Omniscient.
57:4
هُوَHehuwaٱلَّذِى(is) the One Whoalladhīخَلَقَcreatedkhalaqaٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضَand the earthwal-arḍaفِىinfīسِتَّةِsixsittatiأَيَّامٍۢperiodsayyāminثُمَّthenthummaٱسْتَوَىٰHe roseis'tawāعَلَىoverʿalāٱلْعَرْشِ ۚthe Thronel-ʿarshiيَعْلَمُHe knowsyaʿlamuمَاwhatmāيَلِجُpenetratesyalijuفِىin(to)fīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiوَمَاand whatwamāيَخْرُجُcomes forthyakhrujuمِنْهَاfrom itmin'hāوَمَاand whatwamāيَنزِلُdescendsyanziluمِنَfromminaٱلسَّمَآءِthe heavenl-samāiوَمَاand whatwamāيَعْرُجُascendsyaʿrujuفِيهَا ۖthereinfīhāوَهُوَand Hewahuwaمَعَكُمْ(is) with youmaʿakumأَيْنَwhereveraynaمَاwherevermāكُنتُمْ ۚyou arekuntumوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuبِمَاof whatbimāتَعْمَلُونَyou dotaʿmalūnaبَصِيرٌۭ(is) All-seerbaṣīrun٤
C’est Lui qui a créé les cieux et la Terre en six jours puis Il S’est établi sur le Trône ; Il sait ce qui pénètre dans la terre et ce qui en sort, et ce qui descend du ciel et ce qui y monte, et Il est avec vous où que vous soyez. Et Allah observe parfaitement ce que vous faites.
57:5
لَّهُۥFor Himlahuمُلْكُ(is the) dominionmul'kuٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚand the earthwal-arḍiوَإِلَىand towa-ilāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiتُرْجَعُwill be returnedtur'jaʿuٱلْأُمُورُthe mattersl-umūru٥
A Lui appartient la souveraineté des cieux et de la Terre. Et à Allah tout est ramené.
57:6
يُولِجُHe mergesyūlijuٱلَّيْلَthe nightal-laylaفِىintofīٱلنَّهَارِthe dayl-nahāriوَيُولِجُand He mergeswayūlijuٱلنَّهَارَthe dayl-nahāraفِىintofīٱلَّيْلِ ۚthe nightal-layliوَهُوَand Hewahuwaعَلِيمٌۢ(is) All-Knowerʿalīmunبِذَاتِof what is in the breastsbidhātiٱلصُّدُورِof what is in the breastsl-ṣudūri٦
Il fait pénétrer la nuit dans le jour et fait pénétrer le jour dans la nuit, et Il sait parfaitement le contenu des poitrines.
57:7
ءَامِنُوا۟Believeāminūبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiوَرَسُولِهِۦand His Messengerwarasūlihiوَأَنفِقُوا۟and spendwa-anfiqūمِمَّاof whatmimmāجَعَلَكُمHe has made youjaʿalakumمُّسْتَخْلَفِينَtrusteesmus'takhlafīnaفِيهِ ۖthereinfīhiفَٱلَّذِينَAnd thosefa-alladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟who believeāmanūمِنكُمْamong youminkumوَأَنفَقُوا۟and spendwa-anfaqūلَهُمْfor themlahumأَجْرٌۭ(is) a rewardajrunكَبِيرٌۭgreatkabīrun٧
Croyez en Allah et en Son Messager, et dépensez de ce dont Il vous a donné la lieutenance. Ceux d’entre vous croient et dépensent [pour la cause d’Allah] auront une grande récompense.
57:8
وَمَاAnd whatwamāلَكُمْ(is) for youlakumلَا(that) notlāتُؤْمِنُونَyou believetu'minūnaبِٱللَّهِ ۙin Allahbil-lahiوَٱلرَّسُولُwhile the Messengerwal-rasūluيَدْعُوكُمْcalls youyadʿūkumلِتُؤْمِنُوا۟that you believelitu'minūبِرَبِّكُمْin your Lordbirabbikumوَقَدْand indeedwaqadأَخَذَHe has takenakhadhaمِيثَـٰقَكُمْyour covenantmīthāqakumإِنifinكُنتُمyou arekuntumمُّؤْمِنِينَbelieversmu'minīna٨
Et qu’avez-vous à ne pas croire en Allah, alors que le Messager vous appelle à croire en votre Seigneur ? Et [Allah] a déjà pris [acte] de votre engagement si vous êtes [sincères] dans votre foi.
57:9
هُوَHehuwaٱلَّذِى(is) the One Whoalladhīيُنَزِّلُsends downyunazziluعَلَىٰuponʿalāعَبْدِهِۦٓHis slaveʿabdihiءَايَـٰتٍۭVersesāyātinبَيِّنَـٰتٍۢclearbayyinātinلِّيُخْرِجَكُمthat He may bring you outliyukh'rijakumمِّنَfromminaٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِthe darkness[es]l-ẓulumātiإِلَىintoilāٱلنُّورِ ۚthe lightl-nūriوَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaبِكُمْto youbikumلَرَءُوفٌۭ(is the) Most Kindlaraūfunرَّحِيمٌۭ(the) Most Mercifulraḥīmun٩
C’est Lui qui fait descendre sur Son serviteur des versets claires, afin qu’il vous fasse sortir des ténèbres à la lumière; et assurément Allah est Compatissant envers vous, et Très Miséricordieux.
57:10
وَمَاAnd whatwamāلَكُمْ(is) for youlakumأَلَّاthat notallāتُنفِقُوا۟you spendtunfiqūفِىinfīسَبِيلِ(the) waysabīliٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَلِلَّهِwhile for Allahwalillahiمِيرَٰثُ(is the) heritagemīrāthuٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚand the earthwal-arḍiلَاNotlāيَسْتَوِىare equalyastawīمِنكُمamong youminkumمَّنْ(those) whomanأَنفَقَspentanfaqaمِنbeforeminقَبْلِbeforeqabliٱلْفَتْحِthe victoryl-fatḥiوَقَـٰتَلَ ۚand foughtwaqātalaأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَThoseulāikaأَعْظَمُ(are) greateraʿẓamuدَرَجَةًۭ(in) degreedarajatanمِّنَthanminaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaأَنفَقُوا۟spentanfaqūمِنۢafterwardsminبَعْدُafterwardsbaʿduوَقَـٰتَلُوا۟ ۚand foughtwaqātalūوَكُلًّۭاBut to allwakullanوَعَدَAllah has promisedwaʿadaٱللَّهُAllah has promisedl-lahuٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚthe bestl-ḥus'nāوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuبِمَاof whatbimāتَعْمَلُونَyou dotaʿmalūnaخَبِيرٌۭ(is) All-Awarekhabīrun١٠
Et qu’avez-vous à ne pas dépenser dans le chemin d’Allah, alors que c’est à Allah que revient l’héritage des cieux et de la Terre ? On ne peut comparer cependant celui d’entre vous qui a donné ses biens et combattu avant la conquête... ces derniers sont plus hauts en hiérarchie que ceux qui ont dépensé et ont combattu après. Or, à chacun, Allah a promis la plus belle récompense, et Allah est Grand Connaisseur de ce que vous faites.
57:11
مَّنWho (is)manذَاthe one whodhāٱلَّذِىthe one whoalladhīيُقْرِضُwill loanyuq'riḍuٱللَّهَ(to) Allahl-lahaقَرْضًاa loanqarḍanحَسَنًۭاgoodlyḥasananفَيُضَـٰعِفَهُۥso He will multiply itfayuḍāʿifahuلَهُۥfor himlahuوَلَهُۥٓand for himwalahuأَجْرٌۭ(is) a rewardajrunكَرِيمٌۭnoblekarīmun١١
Quiconque fait à Allah un prêt sincère , Allah le Lui multiplie, et il aura une généreuse récompense.
57:12
يَوْمَ(On the) Dayyawmaتَرَىyou will seetarāٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believing menl-mu'minīnaوَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِand the believing womenwal-mu'minātiيَسْعَىٰrunningyasʿāنُورُهُمtheir lightnūruhumبَيْنَbefore thembaynaأَيْدِيهِمْbefore themaydīhimوَبِأَيْمَـٰنِهِمand on their rightwabi-aymānihimبُشْرَىٰكُمُGlad tidings for youbush'rākumuٱلْيَوْمَthis Day l-yawmaجَنَّـٰتٌۭgardensjannātunتَجْرِىflowingtajrīمِنfromminتَحْتِهَاunderneath ittaḥtihāٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُthe riversl-anhāruخَـٰلِدِينَabiding foreverkhālidīnaفِيهَا ۚthereinfīhāذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaهُوَ[it] (is)huwaٱلْفَوْزُthe successl-fawzuٱلْعَظِيمُthe greatl-ʿaẓīmu١٢
Le jour où tu verras les croyants et les croyantes, leur lumière courant devant eux et à leur droite ; (on leur dira) : "Voici une bonne nouvelle pour vous aujourd’hui : des Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux pour y demeurer éternellement." Tel est l’énorme succès.
57:13
يَوْمَ(On the) Dayyawmaيَقُولُwill sayyaqūluٱلْمُنَـٰفِقُونَthe hypocrite menl-munāfiqūnaوَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتُand the hypocrite womenwal-munāfiqātuلِلَّذِينَto those wholilladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believedāmanūٱنظُرُونَاWait for usunẓurūnāنَقْتَبِسْwe may acquirenaqtabisمِنofminنُّورِكُمْyour lightnūrikumقِيلَIt will be saidqīlaٱرْجِعُوا۟Go backir'jiʿūوَرَآءَكُمْbehind youwarāakumفَٱلْتَمِسُوا۟and seekfal-tamisūنُورًۭاlightnūranفَضُرِبَThen will be put upfaḍuribaبَيْنَهُمbetween thembaynahumبِسُورٍۢa wallbisūrinلَّهُۥfor itlahuبَابٌۢa gatebābunبَاطِنُهُۥits interiorbāṭinuhuفِيهِin itfīhiٱلرَّحْمَةُ(is) mercyl-raḥmatuوَظَـٰهِرُهُۥbut its exteriorwaẓāhiruhuمِنfacing towards [it]minقِبَلِهِfacing towards [it]qibalihiٱلْعَذَابُthe punishmentl-ʿadhābu١٣
Le jour où les hypocrites, hommes et femmes, diront à ceux qui croient : "Attendez que nous empruntions [un peu] : de votre lumières." Il sera dit : "Revenez en arrière, et cherchez de la lumière". C’est alors qu’on éleva entre eux une muraille ayant une porte dont l’intérieur contient la miséricorde, et dont la face apparente a devant elle le châtiment [l’Enfer].
57:14
يُنَادُونَهُمْThey will call themyunādūnahumأَلَمْWere notalamنَكُنwenakunمَّعَكُمْ ۖwith youmaʿakumقَالُوا۟They will sayqālūبَلَىٰYesbalāوَلَـٰكِنَّكُمْbut youwalākinnakumفَتَنتُمْled to temptationfatantumأَنفُسَكُمْyourselvesanfusakumوَتَرَبَّصْتُمْand you awaitedwatarabbaṣtumوَٱرْتَبْتُمْand you doubtedwa-ir'tabtumوَغَرَّتْكُمُand deceived youwagharratkumuٱلْأَمَانِىُّthe wishful thinkingl-amāniyuحَتَّىٰuntilḥattāجَآءَcamejāaأَمْرُ(the) Commandamruٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَغَرَّكُمAnd deceived youwagharrakumبِٱللَّهِabout Allahbil-lahiٱلْغَرُورُthe deceiverl-gharūru١٤
"N’étions-nous pas avec vous ?" leur crieront-ils. "Oui, répondront [les autres] mais vous vous êtes laissés tenter, vous avez comploté (contre les croyants) et vous avez douté et de vains espoirs vous ont trompés, jusqu’à ce que vînt l’ordre d’Allah . Et le séducteur [Le diable] : vous a trompés au sujet d’Allah.
57:15
فَٱلْيَوْمَSo todayfal-yawmaلَاnotlāيُؤْخَذُwill be acceptedyu'khadhuمِنكُمْfrom youminkumفِدْيَةٌۭany ransomfid'yatunوَلَاand notwalāمِنَfromminaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟ ۚdisbelievedkafarūمَأْوَىٰكُمُYour abodemawākumuٱلنَّارُ ۖ(is) the Firel-nāruهِىَit (is)hiyaمَوْلَىٰكُمْ ۖyour protectormawlākumوَبِئْسَand wretched iswabi'saٱلْمَصِيرُthe destinationl-maṣīru١٥
Aujourd’hui donc, on n’acceptera de rançon ni de vous ni de ceux qui ont mécru. Votre asile est le Feu : c’est lui qui est votre compagnon inséparable. Et quelle mauvaise destination !
57:16
۞ أَلَمْHas notalamيَأْنِcome (the) timeyaniلِلَّذِينَfor those wholilladhīnaءَامَنُوٓا۟believedāmanūأَنthatanتَخْشَعَbecome humbletakhshaʿaقُلُوبُهُمْtheir heartsqulūbuhumلِذِكْرِat (the) remembrance (of) Allahlidhik'riٱللَّهِat (the) remembrance (of) Allahl-lahiوَمَاand whatwamāنَزَلَhas come downnazalaمِنَofminaٱلْحَقِّthe truthl-ḥaqiوَلَاAnd notwalāيَكُونُوا۟they becomeyakūnūكَٱلَّذِينَlike those whoka-alladhīnaأُوتُوا۟were givenūtūٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaمِنbeforeminقَبْلُbeforeqabluفَطَالَ(and) was prolongedfaṭālaعَلَيْهِمُfor themʿalayhimuٱلْأَمَدُthe terml-amaduفَقَسَتْso hardenedfaqasatقُلُوبُهُمْ ۖtheir heartsqulūbuhumوَكَثِيرٌۭand manywakathīrunمِّنْهُمْof themmin'humفَـٰسِقُونَ(are) defiantly disobedientfāsiqūna١٦
Le moment n’est-il pas venu pour ceux qui ont cru, que leurs cœurs s’humilient à l’évocation d’Allah et devant ce qui est descendu de la vérité [le Coran] ? Et de ne point être pareils à ceux qui ont reçu le Livre avant eux . Ceux-ci trouvèrent le temps assez long et leurs cœurs s’endurcirent, et beaucoup d’entre eux sont pervers.
57:17
ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟Knowiʿ'lamūأَنَّthatannaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيُحْىِgives lifeyuḥ'yīٱلْأَرْضَ(to) the earthl-arḍaبَعْدَafterbaʿdaمَوْتِهَا ۚits deathmawtihāقَدْIndeedqadبَيَّنَّاWe have made clearbayyannāلَكُمُto youlakumuٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِthe Signsl-āyātiلَعَلَّكُمْso that you maylaʿallakumتَعْقِلُونَunderstandtaʿqilūna١٧
Sachez qu’Allah redonne la vie à la terre une fois morte. Certes, Nous vous avons exposé les preuves clairement afin que vous raisonniez.
57:18
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلْمُصَّدِّقِينَthe men who give charityl-muṣadiqīnaوَٱلْمُصَّدِّقَـٰتِand the women who give charitywal-muṣadiqātiوَأَقْرَضُوا۟and who lendwa-aqraḍūٱللَّهَ(to) Allahl-lahaقَرْضًاa loanqarḍanحَسَنًۭاgoodlyḥasananيُضَـٰعَفُit will be multipliedyuḍāʿafuلَهُمْfor themlahumوَلَهُمْand for themwalahumأَجْرٌۭ(is) a rewardajrunكَرِيمٌۭnoblekarīmun١٨
Ceux et celles qui font la charité et qui ont fait à Allah un prêt sincère, cela leur sera multiplié et ils auront une généreuse récompense.
57:19
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiوَرُسُلِهِۦٓand His Messengerswarusulihiأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ[those]ulāikaهُمُtheyhumuٱلصِّدِّيقُونَ ۖ(are) the truthfull-ṣidīqūnaوَٱلشُّهَدَآءُand the martyrswal-shuhadāuعِندَ(are) withʿindaرَبِّهِمْtheir LordrabbihimلَهُمْFor themlahumأَجْرُهُمْ(is) their rewardajruhumوَنُورُهُمْ ۖand their lightwanūruhumوَٱلَّذِينَBut those whowa-alladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūوَكَذَّبُوا۟and denywakadhabūبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآOur Versesbiāyātināأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthoseulāikaأَصْحَـٰبُ(are the) companionsaṣḥābuٱلْجَحِيمِ(of) the Hellfirel-jaḥīmi١٩
Ceux qui ont cru en Allah et en Ses Messagers ceux-là sont les grands véridiques et les témoins auprès d’Allah . Ils auront leur récompense et leur lumière, tandis que ceux qui ont mécru et traité de mensonges Nos signes, ceux- là seront les gens de la Fournaise.
57:20
ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟Knowiʿ'lamūأَنَّمَاthatannamāٱلْحَيَوٰةُthe lifel-ḥayatuٱلدُّنْيَا(of) the worldl-dun'yāلَعِبٌۭ(is) playlaʿibunوَلَهْوٌۭand amusementwalahwunوَزِينَةٌۭand adornmentwazīnatunوَتَفَاخُرٌۢand boastingwatafākhurunبَيْنَكُمْamong youbaynakumوَتَكَاثُرٌۭand competition in increasewatakāthurunفِىoffīٱلْأَمْوَٰلِthe wealthl-amwāliوَٱلْأَوْلَـٰدِ ۖand the childrenwal-awlādiكَمَثَلِlike (the) examplekamathaliغَيْثٍ(of) a rainghaythinأَعْجَبَpleasesaʿjabaٱلْكُفَّارَthe tillersl-kufāraنَبَاتُهُۥits growthnabātuhuثُمَّthenthummaيَهِيجُit driesyahījuفَتَرَىٰهُand you see itfatarāhuمُصْفَرًّۭاturning yellowmuṣ'farranثُمَّthenthummaيَكُونُbecomesyakūnuحُطَـٰمًۭا ۖdebrisḥuṭāmanوَفِىAnd inwafīٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِthe Hereafterl-ākhiratiعَذَابٌۭ(is) a punishmentʿadhābunشَدِيدٌۭsevereshadīdunوَمَغْفِرَةٌۭand forgivenesswamaghfiratunمِّنَfromminaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَرِضْوَٰنٌۭ ۚand Pleasurewariḍ'wānunوَمَاBut notwamāٱلْحَيَوٰةُ(is) the lifel-ḥayatuٱلدُّنْيَآ(of) the worldl-dun'yāإِلَّاexceptillāمَتَـٰعُ(the) enjoymentmatāʿuٱلْغُرُورِ(of) delusionl-ghurūri٢٠
Sachez que la vie présente n’est que jeu, amusement, vaine parure, une course à l’orgueil entre vous et une rivalité dans l’acquisition des richesses et des enfants. Elle est en cela pareille à une pluie: la végétation qui en vient émerveille les cultivateurs, puis elle se fane et tu la vois donc jaunie; ensuite elle devient des débris. Et dans l’au- delà, il y a un dur châtiment, et aussi pardon et agrément d’Allah. Et la vie présente n’est que jouissance trompeuse.
57:21
سَابِقُوٓا۟Racesābiqūإِلَىٰtoilāمَغْفِرَةٍۢ(the) forgivenessmaghfiratinمِّنfromminرَّبِّكُمْyour Lordrabbikumوَجَنَّةٍand a Gardenwajannatinعَرْضُهَاits widthʿarḍuhāكَعَرْضِ(is) like (the) widthkaʿarḍiٱلسَّمَآءِ(of) the heavenl-samāiوَٱلْأَرْضِand the earthwal-arḍiأُعِدَّتْprepareduʿiddatلِلَّذِينَfor those wholilladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiوَرُسُلِهِۦ ۚand His MessengerswarusulihiذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaفَضْلُ(is the) Bountyfaḍluٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiيُؤْتِيهِHe givesyu'tīhiمَن(to) whommanيَشَآءُ ۚHe willsyashāuوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuذُو(is) the Possessor of Bountydhūٱلْفَضْلِ(is) the Possessor of Bountyl-faḍliٱلْعَظِيمِthe Greatl-ʿaẓīmi٢١
Hâtez-vous vers un pardon de votre Seigneur ainsi qu’un Paradis aussi large que le ciel et la terre, préparé pour ceux qui ont cru en Allah et en Ses Messagers. Telle est la grâce d’Allah qu’Il donne à qui Il veut. Et Allah est le Détenteur de l’énorme grâce.
57:22
مَآNotmāأَصَابَstrikesaṣābaمِنanyminمُّصِيبَةٍۢdisastermuṣībatinفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiوَلَاand notwalāفِىٓinfīأَنفُسِكُمْyourselvesanfusikumإِلَّاbutillāفِىinfīكِتَـٰبٍۢa Registerkitābinمِّنbeforeminقَبْلِbeforeqabliأَنthatanنَّبْرَأَهَآ ۚWe bring it into existencenabra-ahāإِنَّIndeedinnaذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaعَلَىforʿalāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiيَسِيرٌۭ(is) easyyasīrun٢٢
Nul malheur n’atteint la terre ni vos personnes, qui ne soit enregistré dans un Livre avant que Nous ne l’ayons créé; et cela est certes facile à Allah,
57:23
لِّكَيْلَاSo that you may notlikaylāتَأْسَوْا۟grievetasawعَلَىٰoverʿalāمَاwhatmāفَاتَكُمْhas escaped youfātakumوَلَاand (do) notwalāتَفْرَحُوا۟exulttafraḥūبِمَآat whatbimāءَاتَىٰكُمْ ۗHe has given youātākumوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuلَا(does) notlāيُحِبُّloveyuḥibbuكُلَّeverykullaمُخْتَالٍۢself-deludedmukh'tālinفَخُورٍboasterfakhūrin٢٣
afin que vous ne vous tourmentiez pas au sujet de ce qui vous a échappé, ni n’exultiez pour ce qu’Il vous a donné. Et Allah n’aime point tout présomptueux plein de gloriole.
57:24
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaيَبْخَلُونَare stingyyabkhalūnaوَيَأْمُرُونَand enjoinwayamurūnaٱلنَّاسَ(on) the peoplel-nāsaبِٱلْبُخْلِ ۗstinginessbil-bukh'liوَمَنAnd whoeverwamanيَتَوَلَّturns awayyatawallaفَإِنَّthen indeedfa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaهُوَHehuwaٱلْغَنِىُّ(is) Free of needl-ghaniyuٱلْحَمِيدُthe Praiseworthyl-ḥamīdu٢٤
Ceux qui sont avares et ordonnent aux gens l’avarice. et quiconque se détourne... Allah Se suffit alors à Lui-même et Il est Digne de louange.
57:25
لَقَدْCertainlylaqadأَرْسَلْنَاWe sentarsalnāرُسُلَنَاOur Messengersrusulanāبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِwith clear proofsbil-bayinātiوَأَنزَلْنَاand We sent downwa-anzalnāمَعَهُمُwith themmaʿahumuٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Scripturel-kitābaوَٱلْمِيزَانَand the Balancewal-mīzānaلِيَقُومَthat may establishliyaqūmaٱلنَّاسُthe peoplel-nāsuبِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖjusticebil-qis'ṭiوَأَنزَلْنَاAnd We sent downwa-anzalnāٱلْحَدِيدَ[the] ironl-ḥadīdaفِيهِwhereinfīhiبَأْسٌۭ(is) powerbasunشَدِيدٌۭmightyshadīdunوَمَنَـٰفِعُand benefitswamanāfiʿuلِلنَّاسِfor the peoplelilnnāsiوَلِيَعْلَمَand so that Allah may make evidentwaliyaʿlamaٱللَّهُand so that Allah may make evidentl-lahuمَن(he) whomanيَنصُرُهُۥhelps Himyanṣuruhuوَرُسُلَهُۥand His Messengerswarusulahuبِٱلْغَيْبِ ۚunseenbil-ghaybiإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaقَوِىٌّ(is) All-StrongqawiyyunعَزِيزٌۭAll-Mightyʿazīzun٢٥
Nous avons effectivement envoyé Nos Messagers avec des preuves évidentes, et fait descendre avec eux le Livre et la balance, afin que les gens établissent la justice. Et Nous avons fait descendre le fer, dans lequel il y a une force redoutable, aussi bien que des utilités pour les gens, et pour qu’Allah reconnaisse qui, dans l’Invisible, défendra Sa cause et celle de Ses Messagers. Certes, Allah est Fort et Puissant.
57:26
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadأَرْسَلْنَاWe sentarsalnāنُوحًۭاNuhnūḥanوَإِبْرَٰهِيمَand Ibrahimwa-ib'rāhīmaوَجَعَلْنَاand We placedwajaʿalnāفِىinfīذُرِّيَّتِهِمَاtheir offspringdhurriyyatihimāٱلنُّبُوَّةَProphethoodl-nubuwataوَٱلْكِتَـٰبَ ۖand the Scripturewal-kitābaفَمِنْهُمand among themfamin'humمُّهْتَدٍۢ ۖ(is) a guided onemuh'tadinوَكَثِيرٌۭbut mostwakathīrunمِّنْهُمْof themmin'humفَـٰسِقُونَ(are) defiantly disobedientlyfāsiqūna٢٦
Nous avons effectivement envoyé Noé et Abraham et accordé à leur descendance la prophétie et le Livre. Certains d’entre eux furent bien- guidés, tandis que beaucoup d’entre eux furent pervers.
57:27
ثُمَّThenthummaقَفَّيْنَاWe sentqaffaynāعَلَىٰٓonʿalāءَاثَـٰرِهِمtheir footstepsāthārihimبِرُسُلِنَاOur Messengersbirusulināوَقَفَّيْنَاand We followedwaqaffaynāبِعِيسَىwith Isabiʿīsāٱبْنِsonib'niمَرْيَمَ(of) Maryammaryamaوَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُand We gave himwaātaynāhuٱلْإِنجِيلَthe Injeell-injīlaوَجَعَلْنَاAnd We placedwajaʿalnāفِىinfīقُلُوبِ(the) heartsqulūbiٱلَّذِينَ(of) those whoalladhīnaٱتَّبَعُوهُfollowed himittabaʿūhuرَأْفَةًۭcompassionrafatanوَرَحْمَةًۭand mercywaraḥmatanوَرَهْبَانِيَّةًBut monasticismwarahbāniyyatanٱبْتَدَعُوهَاthey innovated ib'tadaʿūhāمَاnotmāكَتَبْنَـٰهَاWe prescribed itkatabnāhāعَلَيْهِمْfor them ʿalayhimإِلَّاonlyillāٱبْتِغَآءَseekingib'tighāaرِضْوَٰنِ(the) pleasureriḍ'wāniٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiفَمَاbut notfamāرَعَوْهَاthey observed itraʿawhāحَقَّ(with) rightḥaqqaرِعَايَتِهَا ۖobservanceriʿāyatihāفَـَٔاتَيْنَاSo We gavefaātaynāٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believedāmanūمِنْهُمْamong themmin'humأَجْرَهُمْ ۖtheir rewardajrahumوَكَثِيرٌۭbut mostwakathīrunمِّنْهُمْof themmin'humفَـٰسِقُونَ(are) defiantly disobedientlyfāsiqūna٢٧
Ensuite, sur leurs traces, Nous avons fait suivre Nos [autres] Messagers, et Nous les avons fait suivre de Jésus fils de Marie et lui avons apporté l’Evangile, et mis dans les cœurs de ceux qui le suivirent douceur et mansuétude. Le monachisme qu’ils inventèrent, Nous ne le leur avons nullement prescrit. [Ils devaient] seulement rechercher l’agrément d’Allah. Mais ils ne l’observèrent pas (ce monachisme) comme il se devait. Nous avons donné leur récompense à ceux d’entre eux qui crurent. Mais beaucoup d’entre eux furent des pervers.
57:28
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO you who believeyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَO you who believealladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟O you who believeāmanūٱتَّقُوا۟FearittaqūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaوَءَامِنُوا۟and believewaāminūبِرَسُولِهِۦin His MessengerbirasūlihiيُؤْتِكُمْHe will give youyu'tikumكِفْلَيْنِdouble portionkif'layniمِنofminرَّحْمَتِهِۦHis Mercyraḥmatihiوَيَجْعَلand He will makewayajʿalلَّكُمْfor youlakumنُورًۭاa lightnūranتَمْشُونَyou will walktamshūnaبِهِۦwith itbihiوَيَغْفِرْand He will forgivewayaghfirلَكُمْ ۚyoulakumوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuغَفُورٌۭ(is) Oft-ForgivingghafūrunرَّحِيمٌۭMost Mercifulraḥīmun٢٨
Ô Vous qui avez cru ! Craignez d’Allah et croyez en Son Messager pour qu’Il vous accorde deux parts de Sa miséricorde, et qu’Il vous assigne une lumière à l’aide de laquelle vous marcherez, et qu’Il vous pardonne, car Allah est Pardonneur et Très Miséricordieux.
57:29
لِّئَلَّاSo thatli-allāيَعْلَمَmay knowyaʿlamaأَهْلُ(the) Peopleahluٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(of) the Bookl-kitābiأَلَّاthat notallāيَقْدِرُونَthey have poweryaqdirūnaعَلَىٰoverʿalāشَىْءٍۢanythingshayinمِّنfromminفَضْلِ(the) Bountyfaḍliٱللَّهِ ۙ(of) Allahl-lahiوَأَنَّand thatwa-annaٱلْفَضْلَthe Bountyl-faḍlaبِيَدِ(is) in Allah's Handbiyadiٱللَّهِ(is) in Allah's Handl-lahiيُؤْتِيهِHe gives ityu'tīhiمَنwhommanيَشَآءُ ۚHe willsyashāuوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuذُو(is) the Possessor of Bountydhūٱلْفَضْلِ(is) the Possessor of Bountyl-faḍliٱلْعَظِيمِthe Greatl-ʿaẓīmi٢٩
Cela afin que les gens du Livre sachent qu’ils ne peuvent en rien disposer de la grâce d’Allah et que la grâce est dans la main d’Allah ; Il la donne à qui Il veut, et Allah est le Détenteur de la grâce immense.
