La sourate Al-Jumu'ah (الجمعة) est le 62e chapitre du Saint Coran — une sourate Médinoise de 11 versets. Les sourates médinoises ont été révélées après l'émigration à Médine et traitent plus souvent du culte, de la loi et de la vie de la communauté musulmane.

بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
62:1
يُسَبِّحُGlorifiesyusabbiḥuلِلَّهِAllahlillahiمَاwhatevermāفِى(is) infīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَمَاand whateverwamāفِى(is) infīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiٱلْمَلِكِthe Sovereignl-malikiٱلْقُدُّوسِthe Holyl-qudūsiٱلْعَزِيزِthe All-Mightyl-ʿazīziٱلْحَكِيمِthe All-Wisel-ḥakīmi١
Ce qui est dans les cieux et ce qui sur la Terre glorifient Allah, le Souverain, le Pur, le Puissant, le Sage.
62:2
هُوَHehuwaٱلَّذِى(is) the One Whoalladhīبَعَثَsentbaʿathaفِىamongfīٱلْأُمِّيِّـۧنَthe unletteredl-umiyīnaرَسُولًۭاa Messengerrasūlanمِّنْهُمْfrom themselvesmin'humيَتْلُوا۟recitingyatlūعَلَيْهِمْto themʿalayhimءَايَـٰتِهِۦHis Versesāyātihiوَيُزَكِّيهِمْand purifying themwayuzakkīhimوَيُعَلِّمُهُمُand teaching themwayuʿallimuhumuٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaوَٱلْحِكْمَةَand the wisdomwal-ḥik'mataوَإِنalthoughwa-inكَانُوا۟they werekānūمِنfromminقَبْلُbeforeqabluلَفِىsurely inlafīضَلَـٰلٍۢan errorḍalālinمُّبِينٍۢclearmubīnin٢
C’est Lui qui a envoyé à des gens sans Livre (les Arabes) un Messager des leurs qui leur récite Ses versets, les purifie et leur enseigne le Livre et la Sagesse, bien qu’ils étaient auparavant dans un égarement évident,
62:3
وَءَاخَرِينَAnd otherswaākharīnaمِنْهُمْamong themmin'humلَمَّاwho have not yetlammāيَلْحَقُوا۟joinedyalḥaqūبِهِمْ ۚthembihimوَهُوَand Hewahuwaٱلْعَزِيزُ(is) the All-Mightyl-ʿazīzuٱلْحَكِيمُthe All-Wisel-ḥakīmu٣
ainsi qu’à d’autres parmi ceux qui ne les ont pas encore rejoints. C’est Lui le Puissant, le Sage.
62:4
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaفَضْلُ(is the) Bountyfaḍluٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiيُؤْتِيهِHe gives ityu'tīhiمَن(to) whommanيَشَآءُ ۚHe willsyashāuوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuذُو(is the) Possessordhūٱلْفَضْلِ(of) Bountyl-faḍliٱلْعَظِيمِthe Greatl-ʿaẓīmi٤
Telle est la grâce d’Allah qu’Il donne à qui Il veut. Et Allah est le Détenteur de l’énorme grâce.
62:5
مَثَلُ(The) likenessmathaluٱلَّذِينَ(of) those whoalladhīnaحُمِّلُوا۟were entrustedḥummilūٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ(with) the Tauratl-tawrātaثُمَّthenthummaلَمْnotlamيَحْمِلُوهَاthey bore ityaḥmilūhāكَمَثَلِ(is) likekamathaliٱلْحِمَارِthe donkeyl-ḥimāriيَحْمِلُwho carriesyaḥmiluأَسْفَارًۢا ۚbooksasfāranبِئْسَWretched isbi'saمَثَلُ(the) examplemathaluٱلْقَوْمِ(of) the peoplel-qawmiٱلَّذِينَwhoalladhīnaكَذَّبُوا۟denykadhabūبِـَٔايَـٰتِ(the) Signsbiāyātiٱللَّهِ ۚ(of) Allahl-lahiوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuلَا(does) notlāيَهْدِىguideyahdīٱلْقَوْمَthe peoplel-qawmaٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَthe wrongdoersl-ẓālimīna٥
Ceux qui ont été chargés de la Thora mais qui ne l’ont pas appliquée sont pareils à l’âne qui porte des livres. Quel mauvais exemple que celui de ceux qui traitent de mensonges les versets d’Allah et Allah ne guide pas les gens injustes.
62:6
قُلْSayqulيَـٰٓأَيُّهَاOyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَyou (who)alladhīnaهَادُوٓا۟(are) JewshādūإِنIfinزَعَمْتُمْyou claimzaʿamtumأَنَّكُمْthat youannakumأَوْلِيَآءُ(are) alliesawliyāuلِلَّهِof Allahlillahiمِنfromminدُونِexcludingdūniٱلنَّاسِthe peoplel-nāsiفَتَمَنَّوُا۟then wishfatamannawūٱلْمَوْتَ(for) the deathl-mawtaإِنifinكُنتُمْyou arekuntumصَـٰدِقِينَtruthfulṣādiqīna٦
Dis : "Ô vous qui pratiquez le judaïsme! Si vous prétendez être les bien aimés d’Allah à l’exclusion des autres, souhaitez donc la mort, si vous êtes véridiques."
62:7
وَلَاBut notwalāيَتَمَنَّوْنَهُۥٓthey will wish for ityatamannawnahuأَبَدًۢاeverabadanبِمَاfor whatbimāقَدَّمَتْ(have) sent forthqaddamatأَيْدِيهِمْ ۚtheir handsaydīhimوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuعَلِيمٌۢ(is) All-Knowingʿalīmunبِٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَof the wrongdoersbil-ẓālimīna٧
Or, ils ne la souhaiteront jamais, à cause de ce que leurs mains ont préparé. Allah cependant connaît bien les injustes.
62:8
قُلْSayqulإِنَّIndeedinnaٱلْمَوْتَthe deathl-mawtaٱلَّذِىwhichalladhīتَفِرُّونَyou fleetafirrūnaمِنْهُfrom itmin'huفَإِنَّهُۥthen surely itfa-innahuمُلَـٰقِيكُمْ ۖ(will) meet youmulāqīkumثُمَّThenthummaتُرَدُّونَyou will be sent backturaddūnaإِلَىٰtoilāعَـٰلِمِ(the) All-Knowerʿālimiٱلْغَيْبِ(of) the unseenl-ghaybiوَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِand the witnessedwal-shahādatiفَيُنَبِّئُكُمand He will inform youfayunabbi-ukumبِمَا[of] whatbimāكُنتُمْyou used tokuntumتَعْمَلُونَdotaʿmalūna٨
Dis : "La mort que vous fuyez va certes vous rencontrer. Ensuite vous serez ramenés à Celui qui connaît parfaitement le monde Invisible et le monde visible et qui vous informera alors de ce que vous faisiez."
62:9
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاOyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَ(you) whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوٓا۟believeāmanūإِذَاWhenidhāنُودِىَ(the) call is madenūdiyaلِلصَّلَوٰةِfor (the) prayerlilṣṣalatiمِنonminيَوْمِ(the) dayyawmiٱلْجُمُعَةِ(of) Fridayl-jumuʿatiفَٱسْعَوْا۟then hastenfa-is'ʿawإِلَىٰtoilāذِكْرِ(the) remembrancedhik'riٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَذَرُوا۟and leavewadharūٱلْبَيْعَ ۚthe businessl-bayʿaذَٰلِكُمْThatdhālikumخَيْرٌۭ(is) betterkhayrunلَّكُمْfor youlakumإِنifinكُنتُمْyoukuntumتَعْلَمُونَknowtaʿlamūna٩
Ô vous qui avez cru ! Quand on appelle à la Ṣalāt du jour du Vendredi, accourez à l’invocation d’Allah et laissez tout négoce . Cela est bien meilleur pour vous, si vous saviez !
62:10
فَإِذَاThen whenfa-idhāقُضِيَتِis concludedquḍiyatiٱلصَّلَوٰةُthe prayerl-ṣalatuفَٱنتَشِرُوا۟then dispersefa-intashirūفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe landl-arḍiوَٱبْتَغُوا۟and seekwa-ib'taghūمِنfromminفَضْلِ(the) Bountyfaḍliٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَٱذْكُرُوا۟and rememberwa-udh'kurūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaكَثِيرًۭاmuchkathīranلَّعَلَّكُمْso that you maylaʿallakumتُفْلِحُونَsucceedtuf'liḥūna١٠
Puis quand la prière (As-Salât) est achevée, dispersez-vous sur la terre, et recherchez [quelque effet] de la grâce d’Allah, et invoquez beaucoup Allah afin que vous réussissiez.
62:11
وَإِذَاAnd whenwa-idhāرَأَوْا۟they sawra-awتِجَـٰرَةًa transactiontijāratanأَوْorawلَهْوًاa sportlahwanٱنفَضُّوٓا۟they rushedinfaḍḍūإِلَيْهَاto itilayhāوَتَرَكُوكَand left youwatarakūkaقَآئِمًۭا ۚstandingqāimanقُلْSayqulمَاWhatmāعِندَ(is) withʿindaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiخَيْرٌۭ(is) betterkhayrunمِّنَthanminaٱللَّهْوِthe sportl-lahwiوَمِنَand fromwaminaٱلتِّجَـٰرَةِ ۚ(any) transactionl-tijāratiوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuخَيْرُ(is the) Bestkhayruٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ(of) the Providersl-rāziqīna١١
Quand ils entrevoient quelque commerce ou quelque divertissement, ils s’y dispersent et te laissent debout. Dis : "Ce qui est auprès d’Allah est bien meilleur que le divertissement et le commerce, et Allah est le Meilleur des pourvoyeurs."
