الشرح

La sourate Ash-Sharh (الشرح) est le 94e chapitre du Saint Coran — une sourate Mecquoise de 8 versets. Les sourates mecquoises ont été révélées avant l'émigration du Prophète Muhammad (paix sur lui) à Médine et mettent souvent l'accent sur la foi, l'unicité de Dieu et l'au-delà.

بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
94:1
أَلَمْHave notalamنَشْرَحْWe expandednashraḥلَكَfor youlakaصَدْرَكَyour breastṣadraka١
N’avons-Nous pas ouvert pour toi ta poitrine ?
94:2
وَوَضَعْنَاAnd We removedwawaḍaʿnāعَنكَfrom youʿankaوِزْرَكَyour burdenwiz'raka٢
Et ne t’avons-Nous pas déchargé du fardeau.
94:3
ٱلَّذِىٓWhichalladhīأَنقَضَweighed uponanqaḍaظَهْرَكَyour backẓahraka٣
qui accablait ton dos ?
94:4
وَرَفَعْنَاAnd We raised highwarafaʿnāلَكَfor youlakaذِكْرَكَyour reputationdhik'raka٤
Et exalté pour toi ta renommée ?
94:5
فَإِنَّSo indeedfa-innaمَعَwithmaʿaٱلْعُسْرِthe hardshipl-ʿus'riيُسْرًا(is) easeyus'ran٥
A côté de la difficulté est, certes, une facilité !
94:6
إِنَّIndeedinnaمَعَwithmaʿaٱلْعُسْرِthe hardshipl-ʿus'riيُسْرًۭا(is) easeyus'ran٦

فَإِذَاSo whenfa-idhāفَرَغْتَyou have finishedfaraghtaفَٱنصَبْthen labor hardfa-inṣab٧
Quand tu te libères, donc, lève-toi ,
94:8
وَإِلَىٰAnd towa-ilāرَبِّكَyour Lordrabbikaفَٱرْغَبturn your attentionfa-ir'ghab٨
et à ton Seigneur aspire.
