La sourate Muhammad (محمد) est le 47e chapitre du Saint Coran — une sourate Médinoise de 38 versets. Les sourates médinoises ont été révélées après l'émigration à Médine et traitent plus souvent du culte, de la loi et de la vie de la communauté musulmane.

Bismillah
بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
47:1
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūوَصَدُّوا۟and turn awaywaṣaddūعَنfromʿanسَبِيلِ(the) way of Allahsabīliٱللَّهِ(the) way of Allahl-lahiأَضَلَّHe will cause to be lostaḍallaأَعْمَـٰلَهُمْtheir deedsaʿmālahum١
Ceux qui ont mécru et obstrué le chemin d’Allah, Il a rendu leurs œuvres vaines.
47:2
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and dowaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِrighteous deedsl-ṣāliḥātiوَءَامَنُوا۟and believewaāmanūبِمَاin whatbimāنُزِّلَis revealednuzzilaعَلَىٰtoʿalāمُحَمَّدٍۢMuhammadmuḥammadinوَهُوَand itwahuwaٱلْحَقُّ(is) the truthl-ḥaquمِنfromminرَّبِّهِمْ ۙtheir LordrabbihimكَفَّرَHe will removekaffaraعَنْهُمْfrom themʿanhumسَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْtheir misdeedssayyiātihimوَأَصْلَحَand improvewa-aṣlaḥaبَالَهُمْtheir conditionbālahum٢
Et ceux qui ont cru et accompli de bonnes œuvres et ont cru en ce qui a été descendu sur Mohammed - et c’est la vérité venant de leur Seigneur - Il leur efface leurs méfaits et améliore leur condition.
47:3
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaبِأَنَّ(is) becausebi-annaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūٱتَّبَعُوا۟followittabaʿūٱلْبَـٰطِلَfalsehoodl-bāṭilaوَأَنَّand thatwa-annaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūٱتَّبَعُوا۟followittabaʿūٱلْحَقَّ(the) truthl-ḥaqaمِنfromminرَّبِّهِمْ ۚtheir LordrabbihimكَذَٰلِكَThuskadhālikaيَضْرِبُAllah presentsyaḍribuٱللَّهُAllah presentsl-lahuلِلنَّاسِto the peoplelilnnāsiأَمْثَـٰلَهُمْtheir similitudesamthālahum٣
Il en est ainsi parce que ceux qui ont mécru ont suivi le Faux et que ceux qui ont cru ont suivi la Vérité émanant de leur Seigneur. C’est ainsi qu’Allah propose leurs exemples aux gens.
47:4
فَإِذَاSo whenfa-idhāلَقِيتُمُyou meetlaqītumuٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūفَضَرْبَthen strikefaḍarbaٱلرِّقَابِthe necksl-riqābiحَتَّىٰٓuntilḥattāإِذَآwhenidhāأَثْخَنتُمُوهُمْyou have subdued themathkhantumūhumفَشُدُّوا۟then bind firmlyfashuddūٱلْوَثَاقَthe bondl-wathāqaفَإِمَّاthen eitherfa-immāمَنًّۢاa favormannanبَعْدُafterwardsbaʿduوَإِمَّاorwa-immāفِدَآءًransomfidāanحَتَّىٰuntilḥattāتَضَعَlays downtaḍaʿaٱلْحَرْبُthe warl-ḥarbuأَوْزَارَهَا ۚits burdensawzārahāذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaوَلَوْAnd ifwalawيَشَآءُAllah had willedyashāuٱللَّهُAllah had willedl-lahuلَٱنتَصَرَsurely, He could have taken retributionla-intaṣaraمِنْهُمْfrom themmin'humوَلَـٰكِنbutwalākinلِّيَبْلُوَا۟to testliyabluwāبَعْضَكُمsome of youbaʿḍakumبِبَعْضٍۢ ۗwith othersbibaʿḍinوَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaقُتِلُوا۟are killedqutilūفِىinfīسَبِيلِ(the) way of Allahsabīliٱللَّهِ(the) way of Allahl-lahiفَلَنthen neverfalanيُضِلَّHe will cause to be lostyuḍillaأَعْمَـٰلَهُمْtheir deedsaʿmālahum٤
Lorsque vous rencontrez (au combat) ceux qui ont mécru frappez-en les cous. Puis, quand vous les avez dominés , enchaînez-les solidement. Ensuite, c’est soit la libération gratuite, soit la rançon, jusqu’à ce que la guerre dépose ses fardeaux. Il en est ainsi, car si Allah voulait, Il se vengerait Lui-même contre eux, mais c’est pour vous éprouver les uns par les autres. Et ceux qui seront tués dans le chemin d’Allah, Il ne rendra jamais vaines leurs actions.
47:5
سَيَهْدِيهِمْHe will guide themsayahdīhimوَيُصْلِحُand improvewayuṣ'liḥuبَالَهُمْtheir conditionbālahum٥
Il les guidera et améliorera leur condition,
47:6
وَيُدْخِلُهُمُAnd admit themwayud'khiluhumuٱلْجَنَّةَ(to) Paradisel-janataعَرَّفَهَاHe has made it knownʿarrafahāلَهُمْto themlahum٦
et les fera entrer au Paradis qu’Il leur aura fait connaître.
47:7
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO you who believeyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَO you who believealladhīnaءَامَنُوٓا۟O you who believeāmanūإِنIfinتَنصُرُوا۟you helptanṣurūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيَنصُرْكُمْHe will help youyanṣur'kumوَيُثَبِّتْand make firmwayuthabbitأَقْدَامَكُمْyour feetaqdāmakum٧
Ô vous qui croyez ! si vous faites triompher (la cause d’) Allah, Il vous fera triompher et raffermira vos pas.
47:8
وَٱلَّذِينَBut those whowa-alladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūفَتَعْسًۭاdestruction (is)fataʿsanلَّهُمْfor themlahumوَأَضَلَّand He will cause to be lostwa-aḍallaأَعْمَـٰلَهُمْtheir deedsaʿmālahum٨
Et quand à ceux qui ont mécru, il y aura un malheur pour eux, et Il rendra leurs œuvres vaines.
47:9
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaبِأَنَّهُمْ(is) because theybi-annahumكَرِهُوا۟hatekarihūمَآwhatmāأَنزَلَAllah has revealedanzalaٱللَّهُAllah has revealedl-lahuفَأَحْبَطَso He has made worthlessfa-aḥbaṭaأَعْمَـٰلَهُمْtheir deedsaʿmālahum٩
C’est parce qu’ils ont de la répulsion pour ce qu’Allah a fait descendre. Il a rendu donc vaines leurs œuvres.
47:10
۞ أَفَلَمْDo notafalamيَسِيرُوا۟they travelyasīrūفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiفَيَنظُرُوا۟and seefayanẓurūكَيْفَhowkayfaكَانَwaskānaعَـٰقِبَةُ(the) endʿāqibatuٱلَّذِينَ(of) thosealladhīnaمِنbefore themminقَبْلِهِمْ ۚbefore themqablihimدَمَّرَAllah destroyeddammaraٱللَّهُAllah destroyedl-lahuعَلَيْهِمْ ۖ[over] themʿalayhimوَلِلْكَـٰفِرِينَand for the disbelieverswalil'kāfirīnaأَمْثَـٰلُهَاits likenessamthāluhā١٠
N’ont-il pas parcouru la terre pour voir ce qu’il est advenu de leurs prédécesseurs ? Allah les a détruits. Pareilles fins sont réservées aux mécréants.
47:11
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaبِأَنَّ(is) becausebi-annaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaمَوْلَى(is the) Protectormawlāٱلَّذِينَ(of) those whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūوَأَنَّand thatwa-annaٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَthe disbelievers l-kāfirīnaلَا(there is) nolāمَوْلَىٰprotectormawlāلَهُمْfor themlahum١١
C’est qu’Allah est vraiment le Protecteur de ceux qui ont cru; tandis que les mécréants n’ont pas de protecteur.
47:12
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيُدْخِلُwill admityud'khiluٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and dowaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِrighteous deedsl-ṣāliḥātiجَنَّـٰتٍۢ(to) Gardensjannātinتَجْرِىflowtajrīمِنfromminتَحْتِهَاunderneath ittaḥtihāٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۖthe riversl-anhāruوَٱلَّذِينَbut those whowa-alladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūيَتَمَتَّعُونَthey enjoyyatamattaʿūnaوَيَأْكُلُونَand eatwayakulūnaكَمَاaskamāتَأْكُلُeattakuluٱلْأَنْعَـٰمُthe cattlel-anʿāmuوَٱلنَّارُand the Firewal-nāruمَثْوًۭى(will be) an abodemathwanلَّهُمْfor themlahum١٢
Ceux qui croient et accomplissent de bonnes œuvres, Allah les fera entrer dans des Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux. Et ceux qui mécroient jouissent et mangent comme mangent les bestiaux ; et le Feu sera leur lieu de séjour.
47:13
وَكَأَيِّنAnd how manywaka-ayyinمِّنofminقَرْيَةٍa townqaryatinهِىَwhichhiyaأَشَدُّ(was) strongerashadduقُوَّةًۭ(in) strengthquwwatanمِّنthanminقَرْيَتِكَyour townqaryatikaٱلَّتِىٓwhichallatīأَخْرَجَتْكَhas driven you outakhrajatkaأَهْلَكْنَـٰهُمْWe destroyed themahlaknāhumفَلَاso nofalāنَاصِرَhelpernāṣiraلَهُمْfor themlahum١٣
Et que de cités, bien plus fortes que ta cité qui t’a expulsé, avons-Nous fait périr, et ils n’eurent point de secoureur.
47:14
أَفَمَنThen is (he) whoafamanكَانَiskānaعَلَىٰonʿalāبَيِّنَةٍۢa clear proofbayyinatinمِّنfromminرَّبِّهِۦhis Lordrabbihiكَمَنlike (he) whokamanزُيِّنَis made attractivezuyyinaلَهُۥto himlahuسُوٓءُ(the) evilsūuعَمَلِهِۦ(of) his deedsʿamalihiوَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟while they followwa-ittabaʿūأَهْوَآءَهُمtheir desiresahwāahum١٤
Est-ce que celui qui se base sur une preuve claire venant de son Seigneur est comparable à ceux dont on a embelli les mauvaises actions et qui ont suivi leurs propres passions.
47:15
مَّثَلُA parablemathaluٱلْجَنَّةِ(of) Paradisel-janatiٱلَّتِىwhichallatīوُعِدَis promisedwuʿidaٱلْمُتَّقُونَ ۖ(to) the righteousl-mutaqūnaفِيهَآThereinfīhāأَنْهَـٰرٌۭ(are) riversanhārunمِّنofminمَّآءٍwatermāinغَيْرِnotghayriءَاسِنٍۢpollutedāsininوَأَنْهَـٰرٌۭand riverswa-anhārunمِّنofminلَّبَنٍۢmilklabaninلَّمْnotlamيَتَغَيَّرْchangesyataghayyarطَعْمُهُۥits tasteṭaʿmuhuوَأَنْهَـٰرٌۭand riverswa-anhārunمِّنْofminخَمْرٍۢwinekhamrinلَّذَّةٍۢdeliciousladhatinلِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَfor (the) drinkerslilshāribīnaوَأَنْهَـٰرٌۭand riverswa-anhārunمِّنْofminعَسَلٍۢhoneyʿasalinمُّصَفًّۭى ۖpurifiedmuṣaffanوَلَهُمْand for themwalahumفِيهَاthereinfīhāمِنofminكُلِّallkulliٱلثَّمَرَٰتِfruitsl-thamarātiوَمَغْفِرَةٌۭand forgivenesswamaghfiratunمِّنfromminرَّبِّهِمْ ۖtheir Lordrabbihimكَمَنْlike he whokamanهُوَlike he whohuwaخَـٰلِدٌۭ(will) abide foreverkhālidunفِىinfīٱلنَّارِthe Firel-nāriوَسُقُوا۟and they will be given to drinkwasuqūمَآءًwatermāanحَمِيمًۭاboilingḥamīmanفَقَطَّعَso it cuts into piecesfaqaṭṭaʿaأَمْعَآءَهُمْtheir intestinesamʿāahum١٥
Voici la description du Paradis qui a été promis aux pieux : il y aura là des ruisseaux d’une eau jamais malodorante, et des ruisseaux d’un lait au goût inaltérable, et des ruisseaux d’un vin délicieux à boire, ainsi que des ruisseaux d’un miel purifié. Et il y a là, pour eux, des fruits de toutes sortes, ainsi qu’un pardon de la part de leur Seigneur. [Ceux-là] seront-ils pareils à ceux qui s’éternisent dans le Feu et qui sont abreuvés d’une eau bouillante qui leur déchire les entrailles ?
47:16
وَمِنْهُمAnd among themwamin'humمَّن(are some) whomanيَسْتَمِعُlistenyastamiʿuإِلَيْكَto youilaykaحَتَّىٰٓuntilḥattāإِذَاwhenidhāخَرَجُوا۟they departkharajūمِنْfromminعِندِكَyouʿindikaقَالُوا۟they sayqālūلِلَّذِينَto those wholilladhīnaأُوتُوا۟were givenūtūٱلْعِلْمَthe knowledgel-ʿil'maمَاذَاWhatmādhāقَالَ(has) he saidqālaءَانِفًا ۚjust nowānifanأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَThose ulāikaٱلَّذِينَ(are) the onesalladhīnaطَبَعَAllah has set a sealṭabaʿaٱللَّهُAllah has set a seall-lahuعَلَىٰuponʿalāقُلُوبِهِمْtheir heartsqulūbihimوَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟and they followwa-ittabaʿūأَهْوَآءَهُمْtheir desiresahwāahum١٦
Et il en est parmi eux qui t’écoutent. Une fois sortis de chez toi, ils disent à ceux qui ont reçu la science : "Qu’a-t-il dit, tantôt ?" Ce sont ceux- là dont Allah a scellé les cœurs et qui suivent leurs propres passions.
47:17
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaٱهْتَدَوْا۟accept guidanceih'tadawزَادَهُمْHe increases themzādahumهُدًۭى(in) guidancehudanوَءَاتَىٰهُمْand gives themwaātāhumتَقْوَىٰهُمْtheir righteousnesstaqwāhum١٧
Quant à ceux qui se mirent sur la bonne voie, Il les guida encore plus et leur inspira leur piété.
47:18
فَهَلْThen dofahalيَنظُرُونَthey waityanẓurūnaإِلَّاbutillāٱلسَّاعَةَ(for) the Hourl-sāʿataأَنthatanتَأْتِيَهُمit should come to themtatiyahumبَغْتَةًۭ ۖsuddenlybaghtatanفَقَدْBut indeedfaqadجَآءَhave comejāaأَشْرَاطُهَا ۚits indicationsashrāṭuhāفَأَنَّىٰThen howfa-annāلَهُمْto themlahumإِذَاwhenidhāجَآءَتْهُمْhas come to themjāathumذِكْرَىٰهُمْtheir reminderdhik'rāhum١٨
Qu’est-ce qu’ils attendent sinon que l’Heure leur vienne à l’improviste ? Or ses signes avant-coureurs sont certes déjà venus. Et comment pourront-ils se rappeler quand elle leur viendra (à l’improviste) ?
47:19
فَٱعْلَمْSo knowfa-iʿ'lamأَنَّهُۥthat [He] annahuلَآ(there is) nolāإِلَـٰهَgodilāhaإِلَّاbutillāٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuوَٱسْتَغْفِرْand ask forgivenesswa-is'taghfirلِذَنۢبِكَfor your sinlidhanbikaوَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَand for the believing menwalil'mu'minīnaوَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ ۗand the believing womenwal-mu'minātiوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuيَعْلَمُknowsyaʿlamuمُتَقَلَّبَكُمْyour movementmutaqallabakumوَمَثْوَىٰكُمْand your resting placeswamathwākum١٩
Sache donc qu’en vérité, il n’y a point de divinité à part Allah, et implore le pardon pour ton péché, ainsi que pour les croyants et les croyantes. Allah connaît vos activités (sur terre) et votre lieu de repos (dans l’au-delà) .
47:20
وَيَقُولُAnd saywayaqūluٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūلَوْلَاWhy notlawlāنُزِّلَتْhas been revealednuzzilatسُورَةٌۭ ۖa SurahsūratunفَإِذَآBut whenfa-idhāأُنزِلَتْis revealedunzilatسُورَةٌۭa Surahsūratunمُّحْكَمَةٌۭprecisemuḥ'kamatunوَذُكِرَand is mentionedwadhukiraفِيهَاin itfīhāٱلْقِتَالُ ۙthe fightingl-qitāluرَأَيْتَyou seera-aytaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaفِىinfīقُلُوبِهِمtheir heartsqulūbihimمَّرَضٌۭ(is) a diseasemaraḍunيَنظُرُونَlookingyanẓurūnaإِلَيْكَat you ilaykaنَظَرَa looknaẓaraٱلْمَغْشِىِّ(of) one faintingl-maghshiyiعَلَيْهِ(of) one faintingʿalayhiمِنَfromminaٱلْمَوْتِ ۖthe deathl-mawtiفَأَوْلَىٰBut more appropriatefa-awlāلَهُمْfor themlahum٢٠
Ceux qui ont cru disent : "Ah ! Si une Sourate descendait !" Puis, quand on fait descendre une Sourate explicite et qu’on y mentionne le combat, tu vois ceux qui ont une maladie au cœur te regarder du regard de celui qui s’évanouit devant la mort. Seraient bien préférables pour eux
47:21
طَاعَةٌۭ(Is) obedienceṭāʿatunوَقَوْلٌۭand a wordwaqawlunمَّعْرُوفٌۭ ۚkindmaʿrūfunفَإِذَاAnd whenfa-idhāعَزَمَ(is) determinedʿazamaٱلْأَمْرُthe matterl-amruفَلَوْthen iffalawصَدَقُوا۟they had been trueṣadaqūٱللَّهَ(to) Allahl-lahaلَكَانَsurely, it would have beenlakānaخَيْرًۭاbetterkhayranلَّهُمْfor themlahum٢١
une obéissance et une parole convenable. Puis, quand l’affaire est décidée , il serait mieux pour eux certes, de se montrer sincères vis-à-vis d’Allah.
47:22
فَهَلْThen wouldfahalعَسَيْتُمْyou perhapsʿasaytumإِنifinتَوَلَّيْتُمْyou are given authoritytawallaytumأَنthatanتُفْسِدُوا۟you cause corruptiontuf'sidūفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiوَتُقَطِّعُوٓا۟and cut offwatuqaṭṭiʿūأَرْحَامَكُمْyour ties of kinshiparḥāmakum٢٢
Si vous détournez , ne risquez-vous pas de semer la corruption sur terre et de rompre vos liens de parenté ?
47:23
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَThoseulāikaٱلَّذِينَ(are) the onesalladhīnaلَعَنَهُمُAllah has cursed themlaʿanahumuٱللَّهُAllah has cursed theml-lahuفَأَصَمَّهُمْso He made them deaffa-aṣammahumوَأَعْمَىٰٓand blindedwa-aʿmāأَبْصَـٰرَهُمْtheir visionabṣārahum٢٣
Ce sont ceux-là qu’Allah a maudits, a rendus sourds et a rendu leurs yeux aveugles.
47:24
أَفَلَاThen do notafalāيَتَدَبَّرُونَthey ponderyatadabbarūnaٱلْقُرْءَانَ(over) the Quranl-qur'ānaأَمْoramعَلَىٰuponʿalāقُلُوبٍ(their) heartsqulūbinأَقْفَالُهَآ(are) locksaqfāluhā٢٤
Ne méditent-ils pas sur le Coran ? Ou y a-t-il des cadenas sur leurs cœurs ?
47:25
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaٱرْتَدُّوا۟returnir'taddūعَلَىٰٓonʿalāأَدْبَـٰرِهِمtheir backsadbārihimمِّنۢafterminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiمَاwhatmāتَبَيَّنَ(has) become cleartabayyanaلَهُمُto themlahumuٱلْهُدَى ۙ(of) the guidancel-hudāٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُShaitaanl-shayṭānuسَوَّلَenticedsawwalaلَهُمْ[for] themlahumوَأَمْلَىٰand prolonged hopewa-amlāلَهُمْfor themlahum٢٥
Ceux qui sont revenus sur leurs pas après que le droit chemin leur a été clairement exposé, le Diable (Satan) les a séduits et trompés.
47:26
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaبِأَنَّهُمْ(is) because theybi-annahumقَالُوا۟[they] saidqālūلِلَّذِينَto those wholilladhīnaكَرِهُوا۟hatekarihūمَاwhatmāنَزَّلَAllah has revealednazzalaٱللَّهُAllah has revealedl-lahuسَنُطِيعُكُمْWe will obey yousanuṭīʿukumفِىinfīبَعْضِpartbaʿḍiٱلْأَمْرِ ۖ(of) the matterl-amriوَٱللَّهُBut Allahwal-lahuيَعْلَمُknowsyaʿlamuإِسْرَارَهُمْtheir secretsis'rārahum٢٦
C’est parce qu’ils ont dit à ceux qui ont de la répulsion pour la révélation d’Allah : "Nous allons vous obéir dans certaines choses." Allah cependant connaît ce qu’ils cachent.
47:27
فَكَيْفَThen howfakayfaإِذَاwhenidhāتَوَفَّتْهُمُtake them in deathtawaffathumuٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُthe Angelsl-malāikatuيَضْرِبُونَstrikingyaḍribūnaوُجُوهَهُمْtheir faceswujūhahumوَأَدْبَـٰرَهُمْand their backswa-adbārahum٢٧
Qu’adviendra-t-il d’eux quand les Anges les achèveront, frappant leurs faces et leurs dos ?
47:28
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaبِأَنَّهُمُ(is) because theybi-annahumuٱتَّبَعُوا۟followedittabaʿūمَآwhatmāأَسْخَطَangeredaskhaṭaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaوَكَرِهُوا۟and hatedwakarihūرِضْوَٰنَهُۥHis pleasureriḍ'wānahuفَأَحْبَطَso He made worthlessfa-aḥbaṭaأَعْمَـٰلَهُمْtheir deedsaʿmālahum٢٨
Cela parce qu’ils ont suivi ce qui courrouce Allah, et qu’ils ont de la répulsion pour [ce qui attire] Son agrément. Il a donc rendu vaines leurs œuvres.
47:29
أَمْOr doamحَسِبَthinkḥasibaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaفِىinfīقُلُوبِهِمtheir heartsqulūbihimمَّرَضٌ(is) a diseasemaraḍunأَنthatanلَّنneverlanيُخْرِجَwill Allah bring forthyukh'rijaٱللَّهُwill Allah bring forthl-lahuأَضْغَـٰنَهُمْtheir hatredaḍghānahum٢٩
Ou bien est-ce que ceux qui ont une maladie au cœur escomptent qu’Allah ne saura jamais faire apparaître leur haine ?
47:30
وَلَوْAnd ifwalawنَشَآءُWe willednashāuلَأَرَيْنَـٰكَهُمْsurely, We could show them to youla-araynākahumفَلَعَرَفْتَهُمand you would know themfalaʿaraftahumبِسِيمَـٰهُمْ ۚby their marksbisīmāhumوَلَتَعْرِفَنَّهُمْbut surely, you will know themwalataʿrifannahumفِىbyfīلَحْنِ(the) tonelaḥniٱلْقَوْلِ ۚ(of their) speechl-qawliوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuيَعْلَمُknowsyaʿlamuأَعْمَـٰلَكُمْyour deedsaʿmālakum٣٠
Or, si Nous voulions Nous te les montrerions. Tu les reconnaîtrais certes à leurs traits ; et tu les reconnaîtrais très certainement au ton de leur parler. Et Allah connaît bien vos actions.
47:31
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْAnd surely We will test youwalanabluwannakumحَتَّىٰuntilḥattāنَعْلَمَWe make evidentnaʿlamaٱلْمُجَـٰهِدِينَthose who strivel-mujāhidīnaمِنكُمْamong youminkumوَٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَand the patient oneswal-ṣābirīnaوَنَبْلُوَا۟and We will testwanabluwāأَخْبَارَكُمْyour affairsakhbārakum٣١
Nous vous éprouverons certes afin de distinguer ceux d’entre vous qui luttent [pour la cause d’Allah] et qui endurent, et afin d’éprouver [faire apparaître] vos nouvelles.
47:32
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūوَصَدُّوا۟and turn awaywaṣaddūعَنfromʿanسَبِيلِ(the) way of Allahsabīliٱللَّهِ(the) way of Allahl-lahiوَشَآقُّوا۟and opposewashāqqūٱلرَّسُولَthe Messengerl-rasūlaمِنۢafterminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiمَا[what]māتَبَيَّنَ(has been) made cleartabayyanaلَهُمُto themlahumuٱلْهُدَىٰthe guidancel-hudāلَنneverlanيَضُرُّوا۟will they harmyaḍurrūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaشَيْـًۭٔا(in) anythingshayanوَسَيُحْبِطُand He will make worthlesswasayuḥ'biṭuأَعْمَـٰلَهُمْtheir deedsaʿmālahum٣٢
Ceux qui ont mécru et obstrué le chemin d’Allah et se sont mis dans le clan opposé au Messager après que le droit chemin leur fut clairement exposé, ne sauront nuire à Allah en quoi que ce soit. Il rendra vaines leurs œuvres.
47:33
۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO you who believeyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَO you who believealladhīnaءَامَنُوٓا۟O you who believeāmanūأَطِيعُوا۟ObeyaṭīʿūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaوَأَطِيعُوا۟and obeywa-aṭīʿūٱلرَّسُولَthe Messengerl-rasūlaوَلَاand (do) notwalāتُبْطِلُوٓا۟make vaintub'ṭilūأَعْمَـٰلَكُمْyour deedsaʿmālakum٣٣
Ô vous qui avez cru ! Obéissez à Allah, obéissez au Messager, et ne rendez pas vaines vos œuvres.
47:34
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūوَصَدُّوا۟and turn awaywaṣaddūعَنfromʿanسَبِيلِ(the) waysabīliٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiثُمَّthenthummaمَاتُوا۟diedmātūوَهُمْwhile theywahumكُفَّارٌۭ(were) disbelieverskuffārunفَلَنneverfalanيَغْفِرَwill Allah forgiveyaghfiraٱللَّهُwill Allah forgivel-lahuلَهُمْthemlahum٣٤
Ceux qui ont mécru et obstrué le chemin d’Allah puis sont morts tout en étant mécréants, Allah ne leur pardonnera jamais.
47:35
فَلَاSo (do) notfalāتَهِنُوا۟weakentahinūوَتَدْعُوٓا۟and callwatadʿūإِلَىforilāٱلسَّلْمِpeacel-salmiوَأَنتُمُwhile youwa-antumuٱلْأَعْلَوْنَ(are) superiorl-aʿlawnaوَٱللَّهُand Allahwal-lahuمَعَكُمْ(is) with youmaʿakumوَلَنand neverwalanيَتِرَكُمْwill deprive youyatirakumأَعْمَـٰلَكُمْ(of) your deedsaʿmālakum٣٥
Ne faiblissez donc pas et n’appelez pas à la paix alors que vous êtes les plus hauts, qu’Allah est avec vous, et qu’Il ne vous frustrera jamais [du mérite] de vos œuvres.
47:36
إِنَّمَاOnlyinnamāٱلْحَيَوٰةُthe lifel-ḥayatuٱلدُّنْيَا(of) the worldl-dun'yāلَعِبٌۭ(is) playlaʿibunوَلَهْوٌۭ ۚand amusementwalahwunوَإِنAnd ifwa-inتُؤْمِنُوا۟you believetu'minūوَتَتَّقُوا۟and fear (Allah)watattaqūيُؤْتِكُمْHe will give youyu'tikumأُجُورَكُمْyour rewardsujūrakumوَلَاand notwalāيَسْـَٔلْكُمْwill ask youyasalkumأَمْوَٰلَكُمْ(for) your wealthamwālakum٣٦
La vie présente n’est que jeu et amusement; alors que si vous croyez et craignez [Allah], Il vous accordera vos récompenses et ne vous demandera pas vos biens .
47:37
إِنIfinيَسْـَٔلْكُمُوهَاHe were to ask you for ityasalkumūhāفَيُحْفِكُمْand press youfayuḥ'fikumتَبْخَلُوا۟you will withholdtabkhalūوَيُخْرِجْand He will bring forthwayukh'rijأَضْغَـٰنَكُمْyour hatredaḍghānakum٣٧
S’Il vous les demandait importunément, vous deviendriez avares et Il ferait apparaître vos haines.
47:38
هَـٰٓأَنتُمْHere you are hāantumهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِthesehāulāiتُدْعَوْنَcalledtud'ʿawnaلِتُنفِقُوا۟to spendlitunfiqūفِىinfīسَبِيلِ(the) waysabīliٱللَّهِ(of) Allah l-lahiفَمِنكُمbut among youfaminkumمَّن(are some) whomanيَبْخَلُ ۖwithholdyabkhaluوَمَنand whoeverwamanيَبْخَلْwithholdsyabkhalفَإِنَّمَاthen onlyfa-innamāيَبْخَلُhe withholdsyabkhaluعَنfromʿanنَّفْسِهِۦ ۚhimselfnafsihiوَٱللَّهُBut Allahwal-lahuٱلْغَنِىُّ(is) Free of needl-ghaniyuوَأَنتُمُwhile youwa-antumuٱلْفُقَرَآءُ ۚ(are) the needyl-fuqarāuوَإِنAnd ifwa-inتَتَوَلَّوْا۟you turn awaytatawallawيَسْتَبْدِلْHe will replace youyastabdilقَوْمًا(with) a peopleqawmanغَيْرَكُمْother than youghayrakumثُمَّthenthummaلَاnotlāيَكُونُوٓا۟they will beyakūnūأَمْثَـٰلَكُم(the) likes of youamthālakum٣٨
Vous voilà appelés à faire des dépenses dans le chemin d’Allah. Certains parmi vous se montrent avares. Quiconque cependant est avare, l’est à son détriment. Allah est le Suffisant à Soi-même alors que vous êtes les besogneux. Et si vous vous détournez, Il vous remplacera par un peuple autre que vous, et ils ne seront pas comme vous.
