الحاقة

La sourate Al-Haqqah (الحاقة) est le 69e chapitre du Saint Coran — une sourate Mecquoise de 52 versets. Les sourates mecquoises ont été révélées avant l'émigration du Prophète Muhammad (paix sur lui) à Médine et mettent souvent l'accent sur la foi, l'unicité de Dieu et l'au-delà.

بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
69:1
ٱلْحَآقَّةُThe Inevitable Realityal-ḥāqatu١
L’inévitable [l’Heure qui montre la vérité].
69:2
مَاWhatmāٱلْحَآقَّةُ(is) the Inevitable Realityl-ḥāqatu٢
Qu’est-ce que l’inévitable ?
69:3
وَمَآAnd whatwamāأَدْرَىٰكَwill make you knowadrākaمَاwhatmāٱلْحَآقَّةُ(is) the Inevitable Realityl-ḥāqatu٣
Et qui te dira ce que c’est que l’inévitable ?
69:4
كَذَّبَتْDeniedkadhabatثَمُودُThamudthamūduوَعَادٌۢand Aadwaʿādunبِٱلْقَارِعَةِthe Striking Calamitybil-qāriʿati٤
Les Thamûd et les 'Âd avaient traité de mensonge le cataclysme.
69:5
فَأَمَّاSo as forfa-ammāثَمُودُThamudthamūduفَأُهْلِكُوا۟they were destroyedfa-uh'likūبِٱلطَّاغِيَةِby the overpowering (blast)bil-ṭāghiyati٥
Quant aux Thamûd, ils furent détruits par le [bruit] excessivement fort.
69:6
وَأَمَّاAnd as forwa-ammāعَادٌۭAadʿādunفَأُهْلِكُوا۟they were destroyedfa-uh'likūبِرِيحٍۢby a windbirīḥinصَرْصَرٍscreamingṣarṣarinعَاتِيَةٍۢviolentʿātiyatin٦
Et quant aux 'Âd, ils furent détruits par un vent mugissant et furieux.
69:7
سَخَّرَهَاWhich He imposedsakharahāعَلَيْهِمْupon themʿalayhimسَبْعَ(for) sevensabʿaلَيَالٍۢnightslayālinوَثَمَـٰنِيَةَand eightwathamāniyataأَيَّامٍdaysayyāminحُسُومًۭا(in) successionḥusūmanفَتَرَىso you would seefatarāٱلْقَوْمَthe peoplel-qawmaفِيهَاthereinfīhāصَرْعَىٰfallenṣarʿāكَأَنَّهُمْas if they wereka-annahumأَعْجَازُtrunksaʿjāzuنَخْلٍ(of) date-palmsnakhlinخَاوِيَةٍۢhollowkhāwiyatin٧
qu’ [Allah] déchaîna contre eux pendant sept nuits et huit jours consécutifs; tu voyais alors les gens renversés par terre comme des souches de palmiers évidées.
69:8
فَهَلْThen dofahalتَرَىٰyou seetarāلَهُمof themlahumمِّنۢanyminبَاقِيَةٍۢremainsbāqiyatin٨
En vois-tu le moindre vestige ?
69:9
وَجَآءَAnd camewajāaفِرْعَوْنُFiraunfir'ʿawnuوَمَنand (those)wamanقَبْلَهُۥbefore himqablahuوَٱلْمُؤْتَفِكَـٰتُand the overturned citieswal-mu'tafikātuبِٱلْخَاطِئَةِwith sinbil-khāṭi-ati٩
Pharaon et ceux qui vécurent avant lui ainsi que les Villes renversées commirent des fautes .
69:10
فَعَصَوْا۟And they disobeyedfaʿaṣawرَسُولَ(the) Messengerrasūlaرَبِّهِمْ(of) their Lordrabbihimفَأَخَذَهُمْso He seized themfa-akhadhahumأَخْذَةًۭ(with) a seizureakhdhatanرَّابِيَةًexceedingrābiyatan١٠
Ils désobéirent au Messager de leur Seigneur. Celui-ci donc, les saisit d’une façon irrésistible.
69:11
إِنَّاIndeed, Weinnāلَمَّاwhenlammāطَغَاoverflowedṭaghāٱلْمَآءُthe waterl-māuحَمَلْنَـٰكُمْWe carried youḥamalnākumفِىinfīٱلْجَارِيَةِthe sailing (ship)l-jāriyati١١
C’est Nous qui, quand l’eau déborda , vous avons chargés sur l’Arche.
69:12
لِنَجْعَلَهَاThat We might make itlinajʿalahāلَكُمْfor youlakumتَذْكِرَةًۭa remindertadhkiratanوَتَعِيَهَآand would be conscious of itwataʿiyahāأُذُنٌۭan earudhununوَٰعِيَةٌۭconsciouswāʿiyatun١٢
afin d’en faire pour vous un rappel que toute oreille fidèle conserve.
69:13
فَإِذَاThen whenfa-idhāنُفِخَis blownnufikhaفِىinfīٱلصُّورِthe trumpet l-ṣūriنَفْخَةٌۭa blastnafkhatunوَٰحِدَةٌۭsinglewāḥidatun١٣
Puis, quand d’un seul souffle, on soufflera dans la Trompe,
69:14
وَحُمِلَتِAnd are liftedwaḥumilatiٱلْأَرْضُthe earthl-arḍuوَٱلْجِبَالُand the mountainswal-jibāluفَدُكَّتَاand crushedfadukkatāدَكَّةًۭ(with) a crushingdakkatanوَٰحِدَةًۭsinglewāḥidatan١٤
et que la terre et les montagnes seront soulevées puis tassées d’un seul coup ;
69:15
فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢThen (on) that Dayfayawma-idhinوَقَعَتِwill occurwaqaʿatiٱلْوَاقِعَةُthe Occurrencel-wāqiʿatu١٥
Ce jour-là alors, l’Evénement se produira,
69:16
وَٱنشَقَّتِAnd will splitwa-inshaqqatiٱلسَّمَآءُthe heavenl-samāuفَهِىَso itfahiyaيَوْمَئِذٍۢ(is on) that Dayyawma-idhinوَاهِيَةٌۭfrailwāhiyatun١٦
et le ciel se fendra et sera fragile, ce jour-là.
69:17
وَٱلْمَلَكُAnd the Angelswal-malakuعَلَىٰٓ(will be) onʿalāأَرْجَآئِهَا ۚits edgesarjāihāوَيَحْمِلُand will bearwayaḥmiluعَرْشَ(the) Throneʿarshaرَبِّكَ(of) your Lordrabbikaفَوْقَهُمْabove themfawqahumيَوْمَئِذٍۢthat Dayyawma-idhinثَمَـٰنِيَةٌۭeightthamāniyatun١٧
Et sur ses côtés [se tiendront] les Anges, tandis que huit, ce jour-là, porteront au-dessus d’eux le Trône de ton Seigneur.
69:18
يَوْمَئِذٍۢThat Dayyawma-idhinتُعْرَضُونَyou will be exhibitedtuʿ'raḍūnaلَاnotlāتَخْفَىٰwill be hiddentakhfāمِنكُمْamong youminkumخَافِيَةٌۭany secretkhāfiyatun١٨
Ce jour-là vous serez exposés; et rien de vous ne sera caché.
69:19
فَأَمَّاThen as forfa-ammāمَنْ(him) whomanأُوتِىَis givenūtiyaكِتَـٰبَهُۥhis recordkitābahuبِيَمِينِهِۦin his right handbiyamīnihiفَيَقُولُwill sayfayaqūluهَآؤُمُHerehāumuٱقْرَءُوا۟readiq'raūكِتَـٰبِيَهْmy recordkitābiyah١٩
Quant à celui à qui on aura remis le Livre en sa main droite, il dira : "Tenez ! Lisez mon livre.
69:20
إِنِّىIndeed, Iinnīظَنَنتُwas certainẓanantuأَنِّىthat Iannīمُلَـٰقٍ(will) meetmulāqinحِسَابِيَهْmy accountḥisābiyah٢٠
J’étais sûr d’y trouver mon compte."
69:21
فَهُوَSo hefahuwaفِى(will be) infīعِيشَةٍۢa lifeʿīshatinرَّاضِيَةٍۢpleasantrāḍiyatin٢١
Il jouira d’une vie agréable:
69:22
فِىInfīجَنَّةٍa Gardenjannatinعَالِيَةٍۢelevatedʿāliyatin٢٢
dans un Jardin haut placé.
69:23
قُطُوفُهَاIts clusters of fruitsquṭūfuhāدَانِيَةٌۭhanging neardāniyatun٢٣
dont les fruits sont à portées de la main.
69:24
كُلُوا۟Eatkulūوَٱشْرَبُوا۟and drinkwa-ish'rabūهَنِيٓـًٔۢا(in) satisfactionhanīanبِمَآfor whatbimāأَسْلَفْتُمْyou sent before youaslaftumفِىinfīٱلْأَيَّامِthe daysl-ayāmiٱلْخَالِيَةِpastl-khāliyati٢٤
"Mangez et buvez agréablement pour ce que vous avez avancé dans les jours passés."
69:25
وَأَمَّاBut as forwa-ammāمَنْ(him) whomanأُوتِىَis givenūtiyaكِتَـٰبَهُۥhis recordkitābahuبِشِمَالِهِۦin his left handbishimālihiفَيَقُولُwill sayfayaqūluيَـٰلَيْتَنِىO! I wishyālaytanīلَمْnotlamأُوتَI had been givenūtaكِتَـٰبِيَهْmy recordkitābiyah٢٥
Quant à celui à qui on aura remis le Livre en sa main gauche, il dira : "Hélas pour moi ! J’aurai souhaité qu’on ne m’ait pas remis mon livre,
69:26
وَلَمْAnd notwalamأَدْرِI had knownadriمَاwhatmāحِسَابِيَهْ(is) my accountḥisābiyah٢٦
et ne pas avoir connu mon compte...
69:27
يَـٰلَيْتَهَاO! I wish ityālaytahāكَانَتِhad beenkānatiٱلْقَاضِيَةَthe endl-qāḍiyata٢٧
Hélas, comme j’aurais souhaité que [ma première mort] fût la définitive.
69:28
مَآNotmāأَغْنَىٰhas availedaghnāعَنِّىmeʿannīمَالِيَهْ ۜmy wealthmāliyah٢٨
Ma fortune ne m’a servi à rien.
69:29
هَلَكَIs gonehalakaعَنِّىfrom meʿannīسُلْطَـٰنِيَهْmy authoritysul'ṭāniyah٢٩
Mon autorité est anéantie et m’a quitté !"
69:30
خُذُوهُSeize himkhudhūhuفَغُلُّوهُand shackle himfaghullūhu٣٠
"Saisissez-le ! Puis, mettez-lui un carcan ;
69:31
ثُمَّThenthummaٱلْجَحِيمَ(into) the Hellfirel-jaḥīmaصَلُّوهُburn himṣallūhu٣١
ensuite, brûlez-le dans la Fournaise ;
69:32
ثُمَّThenthummaفِىintofīسِلْسِلَةٍۢa chainsil'silatinذَرْعُهَاits lengthdharʿuhāسَبْعُونَ(is) seventysabʿūnaذِرَاعًۭاcubitsdhirāʿanفَٱسْلُكُوهُinsert himfa-us'lukūhu٣٢
puis, liez-le avec une chaîne de soixante-dix coudées,
69:33
إِنَّهُۥIndeed, heinnahuكَانَwaskānaلَاnotlāيُؤْمِنُbelievingyu'minuبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiٱلْعَظِيمِthe Most Greatl-ʿaẓīmi٣٣
car il ne croyait pas en Allah, le Très Grand.
69:34
وَلَاAnd (did) notwalāيَحُضُّfeel the urgeyaḥuḍḍuعَلَىٰonʿalāطَعَامِ(the) feedingṭaʿāmiٱلْمِسْكِينِ(of) the poorl-mis'kīni٣٤
Et n’incitait pas à nourrir le pauvre.
69:35
فَلَيْسَSo notfalaysaلَهُfor himlahuٱلْيَوْمَtodayl-yawmaهَـٰهُنَاherehāhunāحَمِيمٌۭany devoted friendḥamīmun٣٥
Il n’a pour lui ici, aujourd’hui, point d’ami chaleureux [pour le protéger],
69:36
وَلَاAnd notwalāطَعَامٌany foodṭaʿāmunإِلَّاexceptillāمِنْfromminغِسْلِينٍۢ(the) discharge of woundsghis'līnin٣٦
ni d’autre nourriture que du pus,
69:37
لَّاNotlāيَأْكُلُهُۥٓwill eat ityakuluhuإِلَّاexceptillāٱلْخَـٰطِـُٔونَthe sinnersl-khāṭiūna٣٧
que seuls les fautifs mangeront."
69:38
فَلَآBut nayfalāأُقْسِمُI swearuq'simuبِمَاby whatbimāتُبْصِرُونَyou seetub'ṣirūna٣٨
Mais non... Je jure par ce que vous voyez,
69:39
وَمَاAnd whatwamāلَاnotlāتُبْصِرُونَyou seetub'ṣirūna٣٩
ainsi que par ce que vous ne voyez pas,
69:40
إِنَّهُۥIndeed, it (is)innahuلَقَوْلُsurely (the) Wordlaqawluرَسُولٍۢ(of) a Messengerrasūlinكَرِيمٍۢnoblekarīmin٤٠
que ceci [le Coran] est la parole d’un noble Messager ,
69:41
وَمَاAnd notwamāهُوَithuwaبِقَوْلِ(is the) wordbiqawliشَاعِرٍۢ ۚ(of) a poetshāʿirinقَلِيلًۭاlittleqalīlanمَّا(is) whatmāتُؤْمِنُونَyou believetu'minūna٤١
et que ce n’est pas la parole d’un poète; mais vous ne croyez que très peu,
69:42
وَلَاAnd notwalāبِقَوْلِ(it is the) wordbiqawliكَاهِنٍۢ ۚ(of) a soothsayerkāhininقَلِيلًۭاlittleqalīlanمَّا(is) whatmāتَذَكَّرُونَyou take heedtadhakkarūna٤٢
ni la parole d’un devin, mais vous vous rappelez bien peu.
69:43
تَنزِيلٌۭ(It is) a revelationtanzīlunمِّنfromminرَّبِّ(the) Lordrabbiٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ(of) the worldsl-ʿālamīna٤٣
C’est une révélation du Seigneur de l’Univers.
69:44
وَلَوْAnd ifwalawتَقَوَّلَhe (had) fabricatedtaqawwalaعَلَيْنَاagainst Usʿalaynāبَعْضَsomebaʿḍaٱلْأَقَاوِيلِsayingsl-aqāwīli٤٤
Et s’il avait forgé quelques paroles qu’ils Nous avait attribuées,
69:45
لَأَخَذْنَاCertainly We (would) have seizedla-akhadhnāمِنْهُhimmin'huبِٱلْيَمِينِby the right handbil-yamīni٤٥
Nous l’aurions saisi de la main droite,
69:46
ثُمَّThenthummaلَقَطَعْنَاcertainly We (would) have cut offlaqaṭaʿnāمِنْهُfrom himmin'huٱلْوَتِينَthe aortal-watīna٤٦
ensuite, Nous lui aurions tranché l’aorte.
69:47
فَمَاAnd notfamāمِنكُمfrom youminkumمِّنْanyminأَحَدٍoneaḥadinعَنْهُ[from him]ʿanhuحَـٰجِزِينَ(who could) prevent (it)ḥājizīna٤٧
Et nul d’entre vous n’aurait pu lui servir de rempart.
69:48
وَإِنَّهُۥAnd indeed, itwa-innahuلَتَذْكِرَةٌۭ(is) surely a reminderlatadhkiratunلِّلْمُتَّقِينَfor the Allah-fearinglil'muttaqīna٤٨
C’est en vérité un rappel pour les pieux.
69:49
وَإِنَّاAnd indeed, Wewa-innāلَنَعْلَمُsurely knowlanaʿlamuأَنَّthatannaمِنكُمamong youminkumمُّكَذِّبِينَ(are) deniersmukadhibīna٤٩
Et Nous savons qu’il y a parmi vous qui le traitent de menteur ;
69:50
وَإِنَّهُۥAnd indeed, itwa-innahuلَحَسْرَةٌ(is) surely a regretlaḥasratunعَلَىuponʿalāٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَthe disbelieversl-kāfirīna٥٠
mais en vérité, ce sera un sujet de regret pour les mécréants,
69:51
وَإِنَّهُۥAnd indeed, it (is)wa-innahuلَحَقُّsurely (the) truthlaḥaqquٱلْيَقِينِ(of) certaintyl-yaqīni٥١
c’est là la véritable certitude.
69:52
فَسَبِّحْSo glorifyfasabbiḥبِٱسْمِ(the) namebi-is'miرَبِّكَ(of) your Lordrabbikaٱلْعَظِيمِthe Most Greatl-ʿaẓīmi٥٢
Glorifie donc le nom de ton Seigneur, le Très Grand !
