Mecquoise 44 Versets Juz 29

المعارج

Bismillah

بِسْمِ In (the) name ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ the Most Gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِ the Most Merciful

Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux

70:1

سَأَلَ Asked سَآئِلٌۢ a questioner بِعَذَابٍۢ about a punishment وَاقِعٍۢ bound to happen ١ (1)

Un demandeur a réclamé un châtiment inéluctable,

70:2

لِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَ To the disbelievers لَيْسَ not لَهُۥ of it دَافِعٌۭ any preventer ٢ (2)

pour les mécréants, que nul ne pourrait repousser,

70:3

مِّنَ From ٱللَّهِ Allah ذِى Owner ٱلْمَعَارِجِ (of) the ways of ascent ٣ (3)

et qui vient d’Allah, le Maître des voies d’ascension.

70:4

تَعْرُجُ Ascend ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels وَٱلرُّوحُ and the Spirit إِلَيْهِ to Him فِى in يَوْمٍۢ a Day كَانَ [is] مِقْدَارُهُۥ its measure خَمْسِينَ (is) fifty أَلْفَ thousand سَنَةٍۢ year(s) ٤ (4)

Les Anges ainsi que l’Esprit montent vers Lui en un jour dont la durée est de cinquante mille ans.

70:5

فَٱصْبِرْ So be patient صَبْرًۭا a patience جَمِيلًا good ٥ (5)

Supporte donc, d’une belle patience.

70:6

إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they يَرَوْنَهُۥ see it بَعِيدًۭا (as) far off ٦ (6)

Ils le (le châtiment) voient bien loin,

70:7

وَنَرَىٰهُ But We see it قَرِيبًۭا near ٧ (7)

alors que Nous le voyons bien proche,

70:8

يَوْمَ (The) Day تَكُونُ will be ٱلسَّمَآءُ the sky كَٱلْمُهْلِ like molten copper ٨ (8)

le jour où le ciel sera comme du métal en fusion.

70:9

وَتَكُونُ And will be ٱلْجِبَالُ the mountains كَٱلْعِهْنِ like wool ٩ (9)

Et les montagnes comme de la laine,

70:10

وَلَا And not يَسْـَٔلُ will ask حَمِيمٌ a friend حَمِيمًۭا (about) a friend ١٠ (10)

où nul ami dévoué ne s’enquerra d’un ami,

70:11

يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ ۚ They will be made to see each other يَوَدُّ Would wish ٱلْمُجْرِمُ the criminal لَوْ if يَفْتَدِى he (could be) ransomed مِنْ from عَذَابِ (the) punishment يَوْمِئِذٍۭ (of) that Day بِبَنِيهِ by his children ١١ (11)

bien qu’ils se voient l’un l’autre. Le criminel aimerait pouvoir se racheter du châtiment de ce jour, en livrant ses enfants,

70:12

وَصَـٰحِبَتِهِۦ And his spouse وَأَخِيهِ and his brother ١٢ (12)

sa compagne, son frère,

70:13

وَفَصِيلَتِهِ And his nearest kindred ٱلَّتِى who تُـْٔوِيهِ sheltered him ١٣ (13)

même son clan qui lui donnait asile,

70:14

وَمَن And whoever فِى (is) on ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth جَمِيعًۭا all ثُمَّ then يُنجِيهِ it (could) save him ١٤ (14)

et tout ce qui est sur la terre, tout, qui pourrait le sauver.

70:15

كَلَّآ ۖ By no means إِنَّهَا Indeed, it (is) لَظَىٰ surely a Flame of Hell ١٥ (15)

Mais rien [ne le sauvera]. [L’Enfer] est un brasier.

70:16

نَزَّاعَةًۭ A remover لِّلشَّوَىٰ of the skin of the head ١٦ (16)

arrachant brutalement la peau du crâne.

70:17

تَدْعُوا۟ Inviting مَنْ (him) who أَدْبَرَ turned his back وَتَوَلَّىٰ and went away ١٧ (17)

Il appellera celui qui tournait le dos et s’en allait,

70:18

وَجَمَعَ And collected فَأَوْعَىٰٓ and hoarded ١٨ (18)

amassait et thésaurisait.

70:19

۞ إِنَّ Indeed ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ the man خُلِقَ was created هَلُوعًا anxious ١٩ (19)

Oui, l’homme a été créé instable [très inquiet] ;

70:20

إِذَا When مَسَّهُ touches him ٱلشَّرُّ the evil جَزُوعًۭا distressed ٢٠ (20)

quand le malheur le touche, il est abattu ;

70:21

وَإِذَا And when مَسَّهُ touches him ٱلْخَيْرُ the good مَنُوعًا withholding ٢١ (21)

et quand le bonheur le touche, il est grand refuseur.

70:22

إِلَّا Except ٱلْمُصَلِّينَ those who pray ٢٢ (22)

Sauf ceux qui pratiquent la prière (As-Salât).

70:23

ٱلَّذِينَ Those who هُمْ [they] عَلَىٰ at صَلَاتِهِمْ their prayer دَآئِمُونَ (are) constant ٢٣ (23)

qui sont assidu à leurs prières,

70:24

وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who فِىٓ in أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ their wealth حَقٌّۭ (is) a right مَّعْلُومٌۭ known ٢٤ (24)

et sur les bien desquels il y a un droit bien déterminé [l'aumône]

70:25

لِّلسَّآئِلِ For the one who asks وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ and the deprived ٢٥ (25)

pour le mendiant et le déshérité ;

70:26

وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who يُصَدِّقُونَ accept (the) truth بِيَوْمِ (of the) Day ٱلدِّينِ (of) the Judgment ٢٦ (26)

et qui déclarent véridique le Jour de la Rétribution,

70:27

وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who هُم [they] مِّنْ of عَذَابِ (the) punishment رَبِّهِم (of) their Lord مُّشْفِقُونَ (are) fearful ٢٧ (27)

et ceux qui craignent le châtiment de leur Seigneur.

70:28

إِنَّ Indeed عَذَابَ (the) punishment رَبِّهِمْ (of) your Lord غَيْرُ (is) not مَأْمُونٍۢ to be felt secure (of) ٢٨ (28)

Car vraiment, il n’y a nulle assurance contre le châtiment de leur Seigneur ;

70:29

وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who هُمْ [they] لِفُرُوجِهِمْ their modesty حَـٰفِظُونَ (are) guardians ٢٩ (29)

et qui se maintiennent dans la chasteté.

70:30

إِلَّا Except عَلَىٰٓ from أَزْوَٰجِهِمْ their spouses أَوْ or مَا what مَلَكَتْ they possess أَيْمَـٰنُهُمْ rightfully فَإِنَّهُمْ then indeed, they غَيْرُ (are) not مَلُومِينَ blameworthy ٣٠ (30)

Et n’ont pas de rapports qu’avec leurs épouses ou les esclaves qu’ils possèdent car dans ce cas, ils ne sont pas blâmables,

70:31

فَمَنِ But whoever ٱبْتَغَىٰ seeks وَرَآءَ beyond ذَٰلِكَ that فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ then those هُمُ [they] ٱلْعَادُونَ (are) the transgressors ٣١ (31)

mais ceux qui cherchent [leur plaisir] en dehors de cela, sont des transgresseurs ;

70:32

وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who هُمْ [they] لِأَمَـٰنَـٰتِهِمْ of their trusts وَعَهْدِهِمْ and their promise رَٰعُونَ (are) observers ٣٢ (32)

et qui gardent les dépôts confiés à eux, et respectent leurs engagements scrupuleusement.

70:33

وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who هُم [they] بِشَهَـٰدَٰتِهِمْ in their testimonies قَآئِمُونَ stand firm ٣٣ (33)

Et qui témoignent de la stricte vérité,

70:34

وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who هُمْ [they] عَلَىٰ on صَلَاتِهِمْ their prayer يُحَافِظُونَ keep a guard ٣٤ (34)

et qui sont régulier dans leur prière (As-Salât).

70:35

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those فِى (will be) in جَنَّـٰتٍۢ Gardens مُّكْرَمُونَ honored ٣٥ (35)

Ceux-là seront honorés dans des Jardins.

70:36

فَمَالِ So what is with ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve قِبَلَكَ before you مُهْطِعِينَ (they) hasten ٣٦ (36)

Qu’ont donc, ceux qui ont mécru, à courir vers toi, le cou tendu,

70:37

عَنِ On ٱلْيَمِينِ the right وَعَنِ and on ٱلشِّمَالِ the left عِزِينَ (in) separate groups ٣٧ (37)

de droite et de gauche, [venant] par bandes ?

70:38

أَيَطْمَعُ Does long كُلُّ every ٱمْرِئٍۢ person مِّنْهُمْ among them أَن that يُدْخَلَ he enters جَنَّةَ a Garden نَعِيمٍۢ (of) Delight ٣٨ (38)

Chacun d’eux convoite-t-il qu’on le laisse entrer au Jardin des délices ?

70:39

كَلَّآ ۖ By no means إِنَّا Indeed, We خَلَقْنَـٰهُم [We] have created them مِّمَّا from what يَعْلَمُونَ they know ٣٩ (39)

Mais non ! Nous les avons créés de ce qu’ils savent .

70:40

فَلَآ But nay أُقْسِمُ I swear بِرَبِّ by (the) Lord ٱلْمَشَـٰرِقِ (of) the risings وَٱلْمَغَـٰرِبِ and the settings إِنَّا that We لَقَـٰدِرُونَ (are) surely Able ٤٠ (40)

Eh Non !... Je jure par le Seigneur des Levants et des Couchants que Nous sommes capables

70:41

عَلَىٰٓ [On] أَن to نُّبَدِّلَ [We] replace خَيْرًۭا (with) better مِّنْهُمْ than them وَمَا and not نَحْنُ We بِمَسْبُوقِينَ (are) to be outrun ٤١ (41)

de les remplacer par de meilleurs qu’eux, et nul ne peut Nous en empêcher.

70:42

فَذَرْهُمْ So leave them يَخُوضُوا۟ (to) converse vainly وَيَلْعَبُوا۟ and amuse themselves حَتَّىٰ until يُلَـٰقُوا۟ they meet يَوْمَهُمُ their Day ٱلَّذِى which يُوعَدُونَ they are promised ٤٢ (42)

Laisse-les donc s’enfoncer (dans leur mécréance) et se divertir jusqu’à ce qu’ils rencontrent leur jour dont on les menaçait,

70:43

يَوْمَ (The) Day يَخْرُجُونَ they will come out مِنَ from ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ the graves سِرَاعًۭا rapidly كَأَنَّهُمْ as if they (were) إِلَىٰ to نُصُبٍۢ a goal يُوفِضُونَ hastening ٤٣ (43)

le jour où ils sortiront des tombes, rapides comme s’ils couraient vers des pierres dressées ;

70:44

خَـٰشِعَةً Humbled أَبْصَـٰرُهُمْ their eyesights تَرْهَقُهُمْ will cover them ذِلَّةٌۭ ۚ humiliation ذَٰلِكَ That ٱلْيَوْمُ (is) the Day ٱلَّذِى which كَانُوا۟ they were يُوعَدُونَ promised ٤٤ (44)

leurs yeux seront abaissés, l’avilissement les couvrira. C’est cela le jour dont on les menaçait !
