9:1
بَرَآءَةٌۭ Freedom from obligations barāatun
Freedom from obligations
مِّنَ from mina
from
ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi
Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ and His Messenger warasūlihi
and His Messenger
إِلَى to ilā
to
ٱلَّذِينَ those (with) whom alladhīna
those (with) whom
عَـٰهَدتُّم you made a covenant ʿāhadttum
you made a covenant
مِّنَ from mina
from
ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists l-mush'rikīna
the polytheists
١ (1)
(1)
Désaveu de la part d’Allah et de Son Messager à l’égard des polythéistes avec qui vous avez conclu un pacte :
9:2
فَسِيحُوا۟ So move about fasīḥū
So move about
فِى in
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ the land l-arḍi
the land
أَرْبَعَةَ (during) four arbaʿata
(during) four
أَشْهُرٍۢ months ashhurin
months
وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ but know wa-iʿ'lamū
but know
أَنَّكُمْ that you annakum
that you
غَيْرُ (can) not ghayru
(can) not
مُعْجِزِى escape muʿ'jizī
escape
ٱللَّهِ ۙ Allah l-lahi
Allah
وَأَنَّ and that wa-anna
and that
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
مُخْزِى (is) the One Who (will) disgrace mukh'zī
(is) the One Who (will) disgrace
ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers l-kāfirīna
the disbelievers
٢ (2)
(2)
Parcourez la terre durant quatre mois; et sachez que vous ne réduirez pas Allah à l’impuissance et qu’Allah couvre d’ignominie les mécréants ."
9:3
وَأَذَٰنٌۭ And an announcement wa-adhānun
And an announcement
مِّنَ from Allah mina
from Allah
ٱللَّهِ from Allah l-lahi
from Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ and His Messenger warasūlihi
and His Messenger
إِلَى to ilā
to
ٱلنَّاسِ the people l-nāsi
the people
يَوْمَ (on the) day yawma
(on the) day
ٱلْحَجِّ (of) the greater Pilgrimage l-ḥaji
(of) the greater Pilgrimage
ٱلْأَكْبَرِ (of) the greater Pilgrimage l-akbari
(of) the greater Pilgrimage
أَنَّ that anna
that
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
بَرِىٓءٌۭ (is) free from obligations barīon
(is) free from obligations
مِّنَ [of] mina
[of]
ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ۙ (to) the polytheists l-mush'rikīna
(to) the polytheists
وَرَسُولُهُۥ ۚ and (so is) His Messenger warasūluhu
and (so is) His Messenger
فَإِن So if fa-in
So if
تُبْتُمْ you repent tub'tum
you repent
فَهُوَ then, it is fahuwa
then, it is
خَيْرٌۭ best khayrun
best
لَّكُمْ ۖ for you lakum
for you
وَإِن But if wa-in
But if
تَوَلَّيْتُمْ you turn away tawallaytum
you turn away
فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ then know fa-iʿ'lamū
then know
أَنَّكُمْ that you annakum
that you
غَيْرُ (can) not ghayru
(can) not
مُعْجِزِى escape muʿ'jizī
escape
ٱللَّهِ ۗ Allah l-lahi
Allah
وَبَشِّرِ And give glad tidings wabashiri
And give glad tidings
ٱلَّذِينَ (to) those who alladhīna
(to) those who
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve kafarū
disbelieve
بِعَذَابٍ of a punishment biʿadhābin
of a punishment
أَلِيمٍ painful alīmin
painful
٣ (3)
(3)
Et proclamation aux gens, de la part d’Allah et de Son Messager, au jour du Grand Pèlerinage , qu’Allah et Son Messager, désavouent les polythéistes. Si vous vous repentez, ce sera mieux pour vous. Mais si vous vous détournez, alors sachez que vous ne réduirez pas Allah à l’impuissance. Et annonce un châtiment douloureux à ceux qui ne croient pas.
9:4
إِلَّا Except illā
Except
ٱلَّذِينَ those (with) whom alladhīna
those (with) whom
عَـٰهَدتُّم you have a covenant ʿāhadttum
you have a covenant
مِّنَ among mina
among
ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists l-mush'rikīna
the polytheists
ثُمَّ then thumma
then
لَمْ not lam
not
يَنقُصُوكُمْ they have failed you yanquṣūkum
they have failed you
شَيْـًۭٔا (in any) thing shayan
(in any) thing
وَلَمْ and not walam
and not
يُظَـٰهِرُوا۟ they have supported yuẓāhirū
they have supported
عَلَيْكُمْ against you ʿalaykum
against you
أَحَدًۭا anyone aḥadan
anyone
فَأَتِمُّوٓا۟ so fulfil fa-atimmū
so fulfil
إِلَيْهِمْ to them ilayhim
to them
عَهْدَهُمْ their treaty ʿahdahum
their treaty
إِلَىٰ till ilā
till
مُدَّتِهِمْ ۚ their term muddatihim
their term
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
يُحِبُّ loves yuḥibbu
loves
ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ the righteous l-mutaqīna
the righteous
٤ (4)
(4)
A l’exception des polythéistes avec lesquels vous avez conclu un pacte, puis ils ne vous ont manqué en rien, et n’ont soutenu personne [à lutter] contre vous: respectez pleinement le pacte conclu avec eux jusqu’au terme convenu. Allah aime les pieux.
9:5
فَإِذَا Then when fa-idhā
Then when
ٱنسَلَخَ have passed insalakha
have passed
ٱلْأَشْهُرُ the sacred months l-ashhuru
the sacred months
ٱلْحُرُمُ the sacred months l-ḥurumu
the sacred months
فَٱقْتُلُوا۟ then kill fa-uq'tulū
then kill
ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists l-mush'rikīna
the polytheists
حَيْثُ wherever ḥaythu
wherever
وَجَدتُّمُوهُمْ you find them wajadttumūhum
you find them
وَخُذُوهُمْ and seize them wakhudhūhum
and seize them
وَٱحْصُرُوهُمْ and besiege them wa-uḥ'ṣurūhum
and besiege them
وَٱقْعُدُوا۟ and sit (in wait) wa-uq'ʿudū
and sit (in wait)
لَهُمْ for them lahum
for them
كُلَّ (at) every kulla
(at) every
مَرْصَدٍۢ ۚ place of ambush marṣadin
place of ambush
فَإِن But if fa-in
But if
تَابُوا۟ they repent tābū
they repent
وَأَقَامُوا۟ and establish wa-aqāmū
and establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer l-ṣalata
the prayer
وَءَاتَوُا۟ and give waātawū
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ the zakah l-zakata
the zakah
فَخَلُّوا۟ then leave fakhallū
then leave
سَبِيلَهُمْ ۚ their way sabīlahum
their way
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
غَفُورٌۭ (is) Oft-Forgiving ghafūrun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌۭ Most Merciful raḥīmun
Most Merciful
٥ (5)
(5)
Après que les mois sacrés expirent, tuez les polythéistes où que vous les trouviez. Capturez-les, assiégez-les et guettez-les dans toute embuscade. Si ensuite ils se repentent, accomplissent la prière (As-Salât) et acquittent l’aumône (Az-Zakât), alors laissez-leur la voie libre, car Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.
9:6
وَإِنْ And if wa-in
And if
أَحَدٌۭ anyone aḥadun
anyone
مِّنَ of mina
of
ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists l-mush'rikīna
the polytheists
ٱسْتَجَارَكَ seek your protection is'tajāraka
seek your protection
فَأَجِرْهُ then grant him protection fa-ajir'hu
then grant him protection
حَتَّىٰ until ḥattā
until
يَسْمَعَ he hears yasmaʿa
he hears
كَلَـٰمَ (the) Words of Allah kalāma
(the) Words of Allah
ٱللَّهِ (the) Words of Allah l-lahi
(the) Words of Allah
ثُمَّ Then thumma
Then
أَبْلِغْهُ escort him abligh'hu
escort him
مَأْمَنَهُۥ ۚ (to) his place of safety mamanahu
(to) his place of safety
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika
That
بِأَنَّهُمْ (is) because they bi-annahum
(is) because they
قَوْمٌۭ (are) a people qawmun
(are) a people
لَّا (who) do not know
(who) do not know
يَعْلَمُونَ (who) do not know yaʿlamūna
(who) do not know
٦ (6)
(6)
Et si l’un des polythéistes te demande asile, accorde-le lui, afin qu’il entende la parole d’Allah, puis fais-le parvenir à son lieu de sécurité. Car ce sont des gens qui ne savent pas.
9:7
كَيْفَ How kayfa
How
يَكُونُ can (there) be yakūnu
can (there) be
لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ for the polytheists lil'mush'rikīna
for the polytheists
عَهْدٌ a covenant ʿahdun
a covenant
عِندَ with ʿinda
with
ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi
Allah
وَعِندَ and with waʿinda
and with
رَسُولِهِۦٓ His Messenger rasūlihi
His Messenger
إِلَّا except illā
except
ٱلَّذِينَ those (with) whom alladhīna
those (with) whom
عَـٰهَدتُّمْ you made a covenant ʿāhadttum
you made a covenant
عِندَ near ʿinda
near
ٱلْمَسْجِدِ Al-Masjid l-masjidi
Al-Masjid
ٱلْحَرَامِ ۖ Al-Haraam l-ḥarāmi
Al-Haraam
فَمَا So long as famā
So long as
ٱسْتَقَـٰمُوا۟ they are upright is'taqāmū
they are upright
لَكُمْ to you lakum
to you
فَٱسْتَقِيمُوا۟ then you be upright fa-is'taqīmū
then you be upright
لَهُمْ ۚ to them lahum
to them
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
يُحِبُّ loves yuḥibbu
loves
ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ the righteous l-mutaqīna
the righteous
٧ (7)
(7)
Comment y aurait-il pour les polythéistes un pacte admis par Allah et par Son Messager ? A l’exception de ceux avec lesquels vous avez conclu un pacte près de la Mosquée Sacrée . Tant qu’ils sont droits envers vous, soyez droits envers eux. Certes, Allah aime les pieux.
9:8
كَيْفَ How kayfa
How
وَإِن while, if wa-in
while, if
يَظْهَرُوا۟ they gain dominance yaẓharū
they gain dominance
عَلَيْكُمْ over you ʿalaykum
over you
لَا they do not regard (the ties)
they do not regard (the ties)
يَرْقُبُوا۟ they do not regard (the ties) yarqubū
they do not regard (the ties)
فِيكُمْ with you fīkum
with you
إِلًّۭا (of) kinship illan
(of) kinship
وَلَا and not walā
and not
ذِمَّةًۭ ۚ covenant of protection dhimmatan
covenant of protection
يُرْضُونَكُم They satisfy you yur'ḍūnakum
They satisfy you
بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ with their mouths bi-afwāhihim
with their mouths
وَتَأْبَىٰ but refuse watabā
but refuse
قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts qulūbuhum
their hearts
وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ and most of them wa-aktharuhum
and most of them
فَـٰسِقُونَ (are) defiantly disobedient fāsiqūna
(are) defiantly disobedient
٨ (8)
(8)
Comment donc ! Quand ils triomphent de vous, ils ne respectent à votre égard, ni parenté ni pacte conclu. Ils vous satisfont de leurs bouches, tandis que leurs cœurs se refusent; et la plupart d’entre eux sont des pervers.
9:9
ٱشْتَرَوْا۟ They exchange ish'taraw
They exchange
بِـَٔايَـٰتِ [with] the Verses of Allah biāyāti
[with] the Verses of Allah
ٱللَّهِ [with] the Verses of Allah l-lahi
[with] the Verses of Allah
ثَمَنًۭا (for) a little price thamanan
(for) a little price
قَلِيلًۭا (for) a little price qalīlan
(for) a little price
فَصَدُّوا۟ and they hinder (people) faṣaddū
and they hinder (people)
عَن from ʿan
from
سَبِيلِهِۦٓ ۚ His way sabīlihi
His way
إِنَّهُمْ Indeed innahum
Indeed
سَآءَ evil sāa
evil
مَا (is) what
(is) what
كَانُوا۟ they used to kānū
they used to
يَعْمَلُونَ do yaʿmalūna
do
٩ (9)
(9)
Ils troquent à vil prix les versets d’Allah (le Coran) et obstruent Son chemin. Ce qu’ils font est très mauvais !
9:10
لَا Not
Not
يَرْقُبُونَ they respect (the ties) yarqubūna
they respect (the ties)
فِى towards
towards
مُؤْمِنٍ a believer mu'minin
a believer
إِلًّۭا (of) kinship illan
(of) kinship
وَلَا and not walā
and not
ذِمَّةًۭ ۚ covenant of protection dhimmatan
covenant of protection
وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ And those wa-ulāika
And those
هُمُ [they] humu
[they]
ٱلْمُعْتَدُونَ (are) the transgressors l-muʿ'tadūna
(are) the transgressors
١٠ (10)
(10)
Ils ne respectent, à l’égard d’un croyant, ni parenté ni pacte conclu. Et ceux-là sont les transgresseurs.
9:11
فَإِن But if fa-in
But if
تَابُوا۟ they repent tābū
they repent
وَأَقَامُوا۟ and establish wa-aqāmū
and establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer l-ṣalata
the prayer
وَءَاتَوُا۟ and give waātawū
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ the zakah l-zakata
the zakah
فَإِخْوَٰنُكُمْ then (they are) your brothers fa-ikh'wānukum
then (they are) your brothers
فِى in
in
ٱلدِّينِ ۗ [the] religion l-dīni
[the] religion
وَنُفَصِّلُ And We explain in detail wanufaṣṣilu
And We explain in detail
ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ the Verses l-āyāti
the Verses
لِقَوْمٍۢ for a people liqawmin
for a people
يَعْلَمُونَ (who) know yaʿlamūna
(who) know
١١ (11)
(11)
Mais s’ils se repentent, accomplissent la prière (As-Salât) et acquittent l’aumône (Az-Zakât), ils deviendront vos frères en religion. Nous exposons intelligiblement les versets pour des gens qui savent.
9:12
وَإِن And if wa-in
And if
نَّكَثُوٓا۟ they break nakathū
they break
أَيْمَـٰنَهُم their oaths aymānahum
their oaths
مِّنۢ after min
after
بَعْدِ after baʿdi
after
عَهْدِهِمْ their treaty ʿahdihim
their treaty
وَطَعَنُوا۟ and defame waṭaʿanū
and defame
فِى [in]
[in]
دِينِكُمْ your religion dīnikum
your religion
فَقَـٰتِلُوٓا۟ then fight faqātilū
then fight
أَئِمَّةَ the leaders a-immata
the leaders
ٱلْكُفْرِ ۙ (of) [the] disbelief l-kuf'ri
(of) [the] disbelief
إِنَّهُمْ indeed, they innahum
indeed, they
لَآ no
no
أَيْمَـٰنَ oaths aymāna
oaths
لَهُمْ for them lahum
for them
لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may laʿallahum
so that they may
يَنتَهُونَ cease yantahūna
cease
١٢ (12)
(12)
Et si, après le pacte, ils violent leurs serments et s’attaquent à votre religion, combattez alors les chefs de la mécréance - car, ils ne tiennent aucun serment - peut-être cesseront-ils ?
9:13
أَلَا Will not alā
Will not
تُقَـٰتِلُونَ you fight tuqātilūna
you fight
قَوْمًۭا a people qawman
a people
نَّكَثُوٓا۟ who broke nakathū
who broke
أَيْمَـٰنَهُمْ their oaths aymānahum
their oaths
وَهَمُّوا۟ and determined wahammū
and determined
بِإِخْرَاجِ to drive out bi-ikh'rāji
to drive out
ٱلرَّسُولِ the Messenger l-rasūli
the Messenger
وَهُم and they wahum
and they
بَدَءُوكُمْ began (to attack) you badaūkum
began (to attack) you
أَوَّلَ first awwala
first
مَرَّةٍ ۚ time marratin
time
أَتَخْشَوْنَهُمْ ۚ Do you fear them atakhshawnahum
Do you fear them
فَٱللَّهُ But Allah fal-lahu
But Allah
أَحَقُّ (has) more right aḥaqqu
(has) more right
أَن that an
that
تَخْشَوْهُ you should fear Him takhshawhu
you should fear Him
إِن if in
if
كُنتُم you are kuntum
you are
مُّؤْمِنِينَ believers mu'minīna
believers
١٣ (13)
(13)
Ne combattrez-vous pas des gens qui ont violé leurs serments, qui ont voulu bannir le Messager et alors que ce sont eux qui vous ont attaqués les premiers? Les redoutez-vous ? C’est Allah qui est plus digne de votre crainte si vous êtes croyants !
9:14
قَـٰتِلُوهُمْ Fight them qātilūhum
Fight them
يُعَذِّبْهُمُ Allah will punish them yuʿadhib'humu
Allah will punish them
ٱللَّهُ Allah will punish them l-lahu
Allah will punish them
بِأَيْدِيكُمْ by your hands bi-aydīkum
by your hands
وَيُخْزِهِمْ and disgrace them wayukh'zihim
and disgrace them
وَيَنصُرْكُمْ and give you victory wayanṣur'kum
and give you victory
عَلَيْهِمْ over them ʿalayhim
over them
وَيَشْفِ and will heal wayashfi
and will heal
صُدُورَ (the) breasts ṣudūra
(the) breasts
قَوْمٍۢ (of) a people qawmin
(of) a people
مُّؤْمِنِينَ (who are) believers mu'minīna
(who are) believers
١٤ (14)
(14)
Combattez-les. Allah ! Par vos mains, Allah les châtiera, les couvrira d’ignominie, vous donnera la victoire sur eux et guérira les poitrines d’un peuple croyant.
9:15
وَيُذْهِبْ And remove wayudh'hib
And remove
غَيْظَ (the) anger ghayẓa
(the) anger
قُلُوبِهِمْ ۗ (of) their hearts qulūbihim
(of) their hearts
وَيَتُوبُ And Allah accepts repentance wayatūbu
And Allah accepts repentance
ٱللَّهُ And Allah accepts repentance l-lahu
And Allah accepts repentance
عَلَىٰ of ʿalā
of
مَن whom man
whom
يَشَآءُ ۗ He wills yashāu
He wills
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٌ All-Wise ḥakīmun
All-Wise
١٥ (15)
(15)
Et il fera partir la colère de leurs cœurs. Allah accueille le repentir de qui Il veut. Et Allah est Omniscient et Sage.
9:16
أَمْ Or am
Or
حَسِبْتُمْ (do) you think ḥasib'tum
(do) you think
أَن that an
that
تُتْرَكُوا۟ you would be left tut'rakū
you would be left
وَلَمَّا while not walammā
while not
يَعْلَمِ Allah made evident yaʿlami
Allah made evident
ٱللَّهُ Allah made evident l-lahu
Allah made evident
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
جَـٰهَدُوا۟ strive jāhadū
strive
مِنكُمْ among you minkum
among you
وَلَمْ and not walam
and not
يَتَّخِذُوا۟ take yattakhidhū
take
مِن besides Allah min
besides Allah
دُونِ besides Allah dūni
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ besides Allah l-lahi
besides Allah
وَلَا and not walā
and not
رَسُولِهِۦ His Messenger rasūlihi
His Messenger
وَلَا and not walā
and not
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers l-mu'minīna
the believers
وَلِيجَةًۭ ۚ (as) intimates walījatan
(as) intimates
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
خَبِيرٌۢ (is) All-Aware khabīrun
(is) All-Aware
بِمَا of what bimā
of what
تَعْمَلُونَ you do taʿmalūna
you do
١٦ (16)
(16)
Pensez-vous que vous serez délaissés, cependant qu’Allah n’a pas encore distingué ceux d’entre vous qui ont lutté et qui n’ont pas cherché des alliés en dehors d’Allah, de Son Messager et des croyants ? Et Allah est Parfaitement Informé de ce que vous faites.
9:17
مَا (It) is not
(It) is not
كَانَ (It) is not kāna
(It) is not
لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ for the polytheists lil'mush'rikīna
for the polytheists
أَن that an
that
يَعْمُرُوا۟ they maintain yaʿmurū
they maintain
مَسَـٰجِدَ (the) masajid of Allah masājida
(the) masajid of Allah
ٱللَّهِ (the) masajid of Allah l-lahi
(the) masajid of Allah
شَـٰهِدِينَ (while) witnessing shāhidīna
(while) witnessing
عَلَىٰٓ against ʿalā
against
أَنفُسِهِم themselves anfusihim
themselves
بِٱلْكُفْرِ ۚ [with] disbelief bil-kuf'ri
[with] disbelief
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ (For) those ulāika
(For) those
حَبِطَتْ worthless ḥabiṭat
worthless
أَعْمَـٰلُهُمْ (are) their deeds aʿmāluhum
(are) their deeds
وَفِى and in wafī
and in
ٱلنَّارِ the Fire l-nāri
the Fire
هُمْ they hum
they
خَـٰلِدُونَ (will) abide forever khālidūna
(will) abide forever
١٧ (17)
(17)
Il n’appartient pas aux polythéistes de peupler les mosquées d’Allah, vu qu’ils témoignent contre eux-mêmes de leur mécréance. Voilà ceux dont les œuvres sont vaines; et dans le Feu ils demeureront éternellement .
9:18
إِنَّمَا Only innamā
Only
يَعْمُرُ will maintain yaʿmuru
will maintain
مَسَـٰجِدَ (the) masajid of Allah masājida
(the) masajid of Allah
ٱللَّهِ (the) masajid of Allah l-lahi
(the) masajid of Allah
مَنْ (the one) who man
(the one) who
ءَامَنَ believes āmana
believes
بِٱللَّهِ in Allah bil-lahi
in Allah
وَٱلْيَوْمِ and the Day wal-yawmi
and the Day
ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ the Last l-ākhiri
the Last
وَأَقَامَ and establishes wa-aqāma
and establishes
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer l-ṣalata
the prayer
وَءَاتَى and gives waātā
and gives
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ the zakah l-zakata
the zakah
وَلَمْ and not walam
and not
يَخْشَ fear yakhsha
fear
إِلَّا except illā
except
ٱللَّهَ ۖ Allah l-laha
Allah
فَعَسَىٰٓ Then perhaps faʿasā
Then perhaps
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ those ulāika
those
أَن [that] an
[that]
يَكُونُوا۟ they are yakūnū
they are
مِنَ of mina
of
ٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ the guided ones l-muh'tadīna
the guided ones
١٨ (18)
(18)
Ne peuplent les mosquées d’Allah que ceux qui croient en Allah et au Jour Dernier, accomplissent la prière (As-Salât), acquittent l’aumône (Az-Zakât) et ne craignent qu’Allah. Il se peut que ceux-là soient du nombre des bien-guidés.
9:19
۞ أَجَعَلْتُمْ Do you make ajaʿaltum
Do you make
سِقَايَةَ the providing of water siqāyata
the providing of water
ٱلْحَآجِّ (to) the pilgrims l-ḥāji
(to) the pilgrims
وَعِمَارَةَ and (the) maintenance waʿimārata
and (the) maintenance
ٱلْمَسْجِدِ (of) Al-Masjid Al-Haraam l-masjidi
(of) Al-Masjid Al-Haraam
ٱلْحَرَامِ (of) Al-Masjid Al-Haraam l-ḥarāmi
(of) Al-Masjid Al-Haraam
كَمَنْ like (the one) who kaman
like (the one) who
ءَامَنَ believes āmana
believes
بِٱللَّهِ in Allah bil-lahi
in Allah
وَٱلْيَوْمِ and the Day wal-yawmi
and the Day
ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ the Last l-ākhiri
the Last
وَجَـٰهَدَ and strives wajāhada
and strives
فِى in
in
سَبِيلِ (the) way sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ ۚ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
لَا They are not equal
They are not equal
يَسْتَوُۥنَ They are not equal yastawūna
They are not equal
عِندَ near ʿinda
near
ٱللَّهِ ۗ Allah l-lahi
Allah
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
لَا (does) not
(does) not
يَهْدِى guide yahdī
guide
ٱلْقَوْمَ the people l-qawma
the people
ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers l-ẓālimīna
the wrongdoers
١٩ (19)
(19)
Ferez-vous de la charge de donner à boire aux pèlerins et d’entretenir la Mosquée Sacrée (des devoirs) comparables [au mérite] de celui qui croit en Allah et au Jour Dernier et lutte dans le sentier d’Allah ? Ils ne sont pas égaux auprès d’Allah et Allah ne guide pas les gens injustes.
9:20
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who alladhīna
Those who
ءَامَنُوا۟ believed āmanū
believed
وَهَاجَرُوا۟ and emigrated wahājarū
and emigrated
وَجَـٰهَدُوا۟ and strove wajāhadū
and strove
فِى in
in
سَبِيلِ (the) way sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ with their wealth bi-amwālihim
with their wealth
وَأَنفُسِهِمْ and their lives wa-anfusihim
and their lives
أَعْظَمُ (are) greater aʿẓamu
(are) greater
دَرَجَةً (in) rank darajatan
(in) rank
عِندَ near ʿinda
near
ٱللَّهِ ۚ Allah l-lahi
Allah
وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ And those wa-ulāika
And those
هُمُ they humu
they
ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ (are) the successful l-fāizūna
(are) the successful
٢٠ (20)
(20)
Ceux qui ont cru, qui ont émigré et qui ont lutté par leurs biens et leurs personnes dans le sentier d’Allah, ont les plus hauts rangs auprès d’Allah... et ce sont eux les victorieux.
9:21
يُبَشِّرُهُمْ Their Lord gives them glad tidings yubashiruhum
Their Lord gives them glad tidings
رَبُّهُم Their Lord gives them glad tidings rabbuhum
Their Lord gives them glad tidings
بِرَحْمَةٍۢ of Mercy biraḥmatin
of Mercy
مِّنْهُ from Him min'hu
from Him
وَرِضْوَٰنٍۢ and Pleasure wariḍ'wānin
and Pleasure
وَجَنَّـٰتٍۢ and Gardens wajannātin
and Gardens
لَّهُمْ for them lahum
for them
فِيهَا in it fīhā
in it
نَعِيمٌۭ (is) bliss naʿīmun
(is) bliss
مُّقِيمٌ enduring muqīmun
enduring
٢١ (21)
(21)
Leur Seigneur leur annonce de Sa part, miséricorde et agrément, et des Jardins où il y aura pour eux un délice permanent.
9:22
خَـٰلِدِينَ (They will) abide khālidīna
(They will) abide
فِيهَآ in it fīhā
in it
أَبَدًا ۚ forever abadan
forever
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
عِندَهُۥٓ with Him ʿindahu
with Him
أَجْرٌ (is) a reward ajrun
(is) a reward
عَظِيمٌۭ great ʿaẓīmun
great
٢٢ (22)
(22)
où ils demeureront éternellement. Certes il y a auprès d’Allah une énorme récompense.
9:23
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O you yāayyuhā
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ who alladhīna
who
ءَامَنُوا۟ believe āmanū
believe
لَا (Do) not
(Do) not
تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ take tattakhidhū
take
ءَابَآءَكُمْ your fathers ābāakum
your fathers
وَإِخْوَٰنَكُمْ and your brothers wa-ikh'wānakum
and your brothers
أَوْلِيَآءَ (as) allies awliyāa
(as) allies
إِنِ if ini
if
ٱسْتَحَبُّوا۟ they prefer is'taḥabbū
they prefer
ٱلْكُفْرَ [the] disbelief l-kuf'ra
[the] disbelief
عَلَى over ʿalā
over
ٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ ۚ [the] belief l-īmāni
[the] belief
وَمَن And whoever waman
And whoever
يَتَوَلَّهُم takes them as allies yatawallahum
takes them as allies
مِّنكُمْ among you minkum
among you
فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ then those fa-ulāika
then those
هُمُ [they] humu
[they]
ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ (are) the wrongdoers l-ẓālimūna
(are) the wrongdoers
٢٣ (23)
(23)
Ô vous qui croyez ! Ne prenez pas pour alliés, vos pères et vos frères s’ils préfèrent la mécréance à la foi. Et quiconque parmi vous les prend pour alliés... ceux-là sont les injustes.
9:24
قُلْ Say qul
Say
إِن If in

كَانَ are kāna
are
ءَابَآؤُكُمْ your fathers ābāukum
your fathers
وَأَبْنَآؤُكُمْ and your sons wa-abnāukum
and your sons
وَإِخْوَٰنُكُمْ and your brothers wa-ikh'wānukum
and your brothers
وَأَزْوَٰجُكُمْ and your spouses wa-azwājukum
and your spouses
وَعَشِيرَتُكُمْ and your relatives waʿashīratukum
and your relatives
وَأَمْوَٰلٌ and wealth wa-amwālun
and wealth
ٱقْتَرَفْتُمُوهَا that you have acquired iq'taraftumūhā
that you have acquired
وَتِجَـٰرَةٌۭ and the commerce watijāratun
and the commerce
تَخْشَوْنَ you fear takhshawna
you fear
كَسَادَهَا a decline (in) it kasādahā
a decline (in) it
وَمَسَـٰكِنُ and the dwellings wamasākinu
and the dwellings
تَرْضَوْنَهَآ you delight (in) it tarḍawnahā
you delight (in) it
أَحَبَّ (are) more beloved aḥabba
(are) more beloved
إِلَيْكُم to you ilaykum
to you
مِّنَ than mina
than
ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi
Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ and His Messenger warasūlihi
and His Messenger
وَجِهَادٍۢ and striving wajihādin
and striving
فِى in
in
سَبِيلِهِۦ His way sabīlihi
His way
فَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ then wait fatarabbaṣū
then wait
حَتَّىٰ until ḥattā
until
يَأْتِىَ Allah brings yatiya
Allah brings
ٱللَّهُ Allah brings l-lahu
Allah brings
بِأَمْرِهِۦ ۗ His Command bi-amrihi
His Command
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
لَا (does) not
(does) not
يَهْدِى guide yahdī
guide
ٱلْقَوْمَ the people l-qawma
the people
ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ the defiantly disobedient l-fāsiqīna
the defiantly disobedient
٢٤ (24)
(24)
Dis : "Si vos pères, vos enfants, vos frères, vos épouses, vos clans, les biens que vous gagnez, le négoce dont vous craignez le déclin et les demeures qui vous sont agréables, vous sont plus chers qu’Allah, Son Messager et la lutte dans le sentier d’Allah, alors attendez qu’Allah fasse venir Son ordre . Et Allah ne guide pas les gens pervers."
9:25
لَقَدْ Verily laqad
Verily
نَصَرَكُمُ Allah helped you naṣarakumu
Allah helped you
ٱللَّهُ Allah helped you l-lahu
Allah helped you
فِى in
in
مَوَاطِنَ regions mawāṭina
regions
كَثِيرَةٍۢ ۙ many kathīratin
many
وَيَوْمَ and (on the) day wayawma
and (on the) day
حُنَيْنٍ ۙ (of) Hunain ḥunaynin
(of) Hunain
إِذْ when idh
when
أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ pleased you aʿjabatkum
pleased you
كَثْرَتُكُمْ your multitude kathratukum
your multitude
فَلَمْ but not falam
but not
تُغْنِ availed tugh'ni
availed
عَنكُمْ you ʿankum
you
شَيْـًۭٔا anything shayan
anything
وَضَاقَتْ and (was) straitened waḍāqat
and (was) straitened
عَلَيْكُمُ for you ʿalaykumu
for you
ٱلْأَرْضُ the earth l-arḍu
the earth
بِمَا (in spite) of its vastness bimā
(in spite) of its vastness
رَحُبَتْ (in spite) of its vastness raḥubat
(in spite) of its vastness
ثُمَّ then thumma
then
وَلَّيْتُم you turned back wallaytum
you turned back
مُّدْبِرِينَ fleeing mud'birīna
fleeing
٢٥ (25)
(25)
Allah vous a déjà secourus en maints endroits. Et [rappelez- vous] le jour de Hunayn, quand vous étiez fiers de votre grand nombre et que cela ne vous a servi à rien. La terre, malgré son étendue vous devint bien étroite; puis vous avez tourné le dos en fuyards.
9:26
ثُمَّ Then thumma
Then
أَنزَلَ Allah sent down anzala
Allah sent down
ٱللَّهُ Allah sent down l-lahu
Allah sent down
سَكِينَتَهُۥ His tranquility sakīnatahu
His tranquility
عَلَىٰ on ʿalā
on
رَسُولِهِۦ His Messenger rasūlihi
His Messenger
وَعَلَى and on waʿalā
and on
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers l-mu'minīna
the believers
وَأَنزَلَ and sent down wa-anzala
and sent down
جُنُودًۭا forces junūdan
forces
لَّمْ which you did not see lam
which you did not see
تَرَوْهَا which you did not see tarawhā
which you did not see
وَعَذَّبَ and He punished waʿadhaba
and He punished
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
كَفَرُوا۟ ۚ disbelieved kafarū
disbelieved
وَذَٰلِكَ And that wadhālika
And that
جَزَآءُ (is) the recompense jazāu
(is) the recompense
ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ (of) the disbelievers l-kāfirīna
(of) the disbelievers
٢٦ (26)
(26)
Puis, Allah fit descendre Sa quiétude (As-Sakînah) sur Son Messager et sur les croyants. Il fit descendre des troupes (Anges) que vous ne voyiez pas, et châtia ceux qui ont mécru. Telle est la rétribution des mécréants.
9:27
ثُمَّ Then thumma
Then
يَتُوبُ Allah accepts repentance yatūbu
Allah accepts repentance
ٱللَّهُ Allah accepts repentance l-lahu
Allah accepts repentance
مِنۢ after min
after
بَعْدِ after baʿdi
after
ذَٰلِكَ that dhālika
that
عَلَىٰ for ʿalā
for
مَن whom man
whom
يَشَآءُ ۗ He wills yashāu
He wills
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
غَفُورٌۭ (is) Oft-Forgiving ghafūrun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌۭ Most Merciful raḥīmun
Most Merciful
٢٧ (27)
(27)
Après cela Allah, accueillera le repentir de qui Il veut, car Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.
9:28
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe yāayyuhā
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe alladhīna
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓا۟ O you who believe āmanū
O you who believe
إِنَّمَا Indeed innamā
Indeed
ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَ the polytheists l-mush'rikūna
the polytheists
نَجَسٌۭ (are) unclean najasun
(are) unclean
فَلَا so let them not come near falā
so let them not come near
يَقْرَبُوا۟ so let them not come near yaqrabū
so let them not come near
ٱلْمَسْجِدَ Al-Masjid Al-Haraam l-masjida
Al-Masjid Al-Haraam
ٱلْحَرَامَ Al-Masjid Al-Haraam l-ḥarāma
Al-Masjid Al-Haraam
بَعْدَ after baʿda
after
عَامِهِمْ this, their (final) year ʿāmihim
this, their (final) year
هَـٰذَا ۚ this, their (final) year hādhā
this, their (final) year
وَإِنْ And if wa-in
And if
خِفْتُمْ you fear khif'tum
you fear
عَيْلَةًۭ poverty ʿaylatan
poverty
فَسَوْفَ then soon fasawfa
then soon
يُغْنِيكُمُ Allah will enrich you yugh'nīkumu
Allah will enrich you
ٱللَّهُ Allah will enrich you l-lahu
Allah will enrich you
مِن from min
from
فَضْلِهِۦٓ His Bounty faḍlihi
His Bounty
إِن if in
if
شَآءَ ۚ He wills shāa
He wills
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٌۭ All-Wise ḥakīmun
All-Wise
٢٨ (28)
(28)
Ô vous qui croyez ! Les polythéistes ne sont qu’impureté: qu’ils ne s’approchent plus de la Mosquée Sacrée, après cette année-ci . Et si vous redoutez une pénurie, Allah vous enrichira, s’Il veut, de par Sa grâce. Car Allah est Omniscient et Sage.
9:29
قَـٰتِلُوا۟ Fight qātilū
Fight
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
لَا (do) not
(do) not
يُؤْمِنُونَ believe yu'minūna
believe
بِٱللَّهِ in Allah bil-lahi
in Allah
وَلَا and not walā
and not
بِٱلْيَوْمِ in the Day bil-yawmi
in the Day
ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ the Last l-ākhiri
the Last
وَلَا and not walā
and not
يُحَرِّمُونَ they make unlawful yuḥarrimūna
they make unlawful
مَا what
what
حَرَّمَ Allah has made unlawful ḥarrama
Allah has made unlawful
ٱللَّهُ Allah has made unlawful l-lahu
Allah has made unlawful
وَرَسُولُهُۥ and His Messenger warasūluhu
and His Messenger
وَلَا and not walā
and not
يَدِينُونَ they acknowledge yadīnūna
they acknowledge
دِينَ (the) religion dīna
(the) religion
ٱلْحَقِّ (of) the truth l-ḥaqi
(of) the truth
مِنَ from mina
from
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
أُوتُوا۟ were given ūtū
were given
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ the Scripture l-kitāba
the Scripture
حَتَّىٰ until ḥattā
until
يُعْطُوا۟ they pay yuʿ'ṭū
they pay
ٱلْجِزْيَةَ the jizyah l-jiz'yata
the jizyah
عَن willingly ʿan
willingly
يَدٍۢ willingly yadin
willingly
وَهُمْ while they wahum
while they
صَـٰغِرُونَ (are) subdued ṣāghirūna
(are) subdued
٢٩ (29)
(29)
Combattez ceux qui ne croient ni en Allah ni au Jour dernier, qui n’interdisent pas ce qu’Allah et Son messager ont interdit et qui ne professent pas la religion de la vérité, parmi ceux qui ont reçu le Livre, jusqu’à ce qu’ils versent la capitation par leurs propres mains, en état d''humiliation !
9:30
وَقَالَتِ And said waqālati
And said
ٱلْيَهُودُ the Jews l-yahūdu
the Jews
عُزَيْرٌ Uzair ʿuzayrun
Uzair
ٱبْنُ (is) son ub'nu
(is) son
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
وَقَالَتِ And said waqālati
And said
ٱلنَّصَـٰرَى the Christians l-naṣārā
the Christians
ٱلْمَسِيحُ Messiah l-masīḥu
Messiah
ٱبْنُ (is) son ub'nu
(is) son
ٱللَّهِ ۖ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika
That
قَوْلُهُم (is) their saying qawluhum
(is) their saying
بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ ۖ with their mouths bi-afwāhihim
with their mouths
يُضَـٰهِـُٔونَ they imitate yuḍāhiūna
they imitate
قَوْلَ the saying qawla
the saying
ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who alladhīna
(of) those who
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved kafarū
disbelieved
مِن before min
before
قَبْلُ ۚ before qablu
before
قَـٰتَلَهُمُ (May) Allah destroy them qātalahumu
(May) Allah destroy them
ٱللَّهُ ۚ (May) Allah destroy them l-lahu
(May) Allah destroy them
أَنَّىٰ How annā
How
يُؤْفَكُونَ deluded are they yu'fakūna
deluded are they
٣٠ (30)
(30)
Les Juifs disent : “˒Uzayr est fils d’Allah !” et les Chrétiens disent : “Le Messie est fils d’Allah !” Telle est leur parole provenant de leurs bouches. Ils imitent le dire des mécréants avant eux. Qu’Allah les anéantisse ! Comment s’écartent-ils (de la vérité) ?
9:31
ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ They have taken ittakhadhū
They have taken
أَحْبَارَهُمْ their rabbis aḥbārahum
their rabbis
وَرُهْبَـٰنَهُمْ and their monks waruh'bānahum
and their monks
أَرْبَابًۭا (as) Lords arbāban
(as) Lords
مِّن besides min
besides
دُونِ besides dūni
besides
ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi
Allah
وَٱلْمَسِيحَ and the Messiah wal-masīḥa
and the Messiah
ٱبْنَ son ib'na
son
مَرْيَمَ (of) Maryam maryama
(of) Maryam
وَمَآ And not wamā
And not
أُمِرُوٓا۟ they were commanded umirū
they were commanded
إِلَّا except illā
except
لِيَعْبُدُوٓا۟ that they worship liyaʿbudū
that they worship
إِلَـٰهًۭا One God ilāhan
One God
وَٰحِدًۭا ۖ One God wāḥidan
One God
لَّآ (There) is no
(There) is no
إِلَـٰهَ god ilāha
god
إِلَّا except illā
except
هُوَ ۚ Him huwa
Him
سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ Glory be to Him sub'ḥānahu
Glory be to Him
عَمَّا from what ʿammā
from what
يُشْرِكُونَ they associate (with Him) yush'rikūna
they associate (with Him)
٣١ (31)
(31)
Ils ont pris leurs rabbins et leurs moines, ainsi que le Messie - fils de Marie - comme Seigneurs en dehors d’Allah, alors qu’on ne leur avait commandé que d’adorer un Dieu unique. Pas de divinité à part Lui ! Gloire à Lui ! Il est au-dessus de ce qu’ils [Lui] associent.
9:32
يُرِيدُونَ They want yurīdūna
They want
أَن to an

يُطْفِـُٔوا۟ extinguish yuṭ'fiū
extinguish
نُورَ Allah's light nūra
Allah's light
ٱللَّهِ Allah's light l-lahi
Allah's light
بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ with their mouths bi-afwāhihim
with their mouths
وَيَأْبَى but Allah refuses wayabā
but Allah refuses
ٱللَّهُ but Allah refuses l-lahu
but Allah refuses
إِلَّآ except illā
except
أَن to an
to
يُتِمَّ perfect yutimma
perfect
نُورَهُۥ His Light nūrahu
His Light
وَلَوْ even if walaw
even if
كَرِهَ the disbelievers dislike (it) kariha
the disbelievers dislike (it)
ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ the disbelievers dislike (it) l-kāfirūna
the disbelievers dislike (it)
٣٢ (32)
(32)
Ils veulent éteindre avec leurs bouches la lumière d’Allah, alors qu’Allah ne veut que parachever Sa lumière, quelque répulsion qu’en aient les mécréants.
9:33
هُوَ He huwa
He
ٱلَّذِىٓ (is) the One Who alladhī
(is) the One Who
أَرْسَلَ has sent arsala
has sent
رَسُولَهُۥ His Messenger rasūlahu
His Messenger
بِٱلْهُدَىٰ with the guidance bil-hudā
with the guidance
وَدِينِ and the religion wadīni
and the religion
ٱلْحَقِّ (of) [the] truth l-ḥaqi
(of) [the] truth
لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ to manifest it liyuẓ'hirahu
to manifest it
عَلَى over ʿalā
over
ٱلدِّينِ all religions l-dīni
all religions
كُلِّهِۦ all religions kullihi
all religions
وَلَوْ Even if walaw
Even if
كَرِهَ dislike (it) kariha
dislike (it)
ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَ the polytheists l-mush'rikūna
the polytheists
٣٣ (33)
(33)
C’est Lui qui a envoyé Son Messager avec la bonne direction et la religion de la vérité, afin qu’elle triomphe sur toute autre religion, quelque répulsion qu’en aient les polythéistes.
9:34
۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe yāayyuhā
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe alladhīna
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓا۟ O you who believe āmanū
O you who believe
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
كَثِيرًۭا many kathīran
many
مِّنَ of mina
of
ٱلْأَحْبَارِ the rabbis l-aḥbāri
the rabbis
وَٱلرُّهْبَانِ and the monks wal-ruh'bāni
and the monks
لَيَأْكُلُونَ surely eat layakulūna
surely eat
أَمْوَٰلَ (the) wealth amwāla
(the) wealth
ٱلنَّاسِ (of) the people l-nāsi
(of) the people
بِٱلْبَـٰطِلِ in falsehood bil-bāṭili
in falsehood
وَيَصُدُّونَ and hinder wayaṣuddūna
and hinder
عَن from ʿan
from
سَبِيلِ (the) way sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ ۗ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who wa-alladhīna
And those who
يَكْنِزُونَ hoard yaknizūna
hoard
ٱلذَّهَبَ the gold l-dhahaba
the gold
وَٱلْفِضَّةَ and the silver wal-fiḍata
and the silver
وَلَا and (do) not walā
and (do) not
يُنفِقُونَهَا spend it yunfiqūnahā
spend it
فِى in
in
سَبِيلِ (the) way sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
فَبَشِّرْهُم [so] give them tidings fabashir'hum
[so] give them tidings
بِعَذَابٍ of a punishment biʿadhābin
of a punishment
أَلِيمٍۢ painful alīmin
painful
٣٤ (34)
(34)
Ô vous qui croyez! Beaucoup de rabbins et de moines dévorent, les biens des gens illégalement et [leur] obstruent le sentier d’Allah. A ceux qui thésaurisent l’or et l’argent et ne les dépensent pas dans le sentier d’Allah, annonce un châtiment douloureux,
9:35
يَوْمَ (The) Day yawma
(The) Day
يُحْمَىٰ it will be heated [on it] yuḥ'mā
it will be heated [on it]
عَلَيْهَا it will be heated [on it] ʿalayhā
it will be heated [on it]
فِى in
in
نَارِ the Fire nāri
the Fire
جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell jahannama
(of) Hell
فَتُكْوَىٰ and will be branded fatuk'wā
and will be branded
بِهَا with it bihā
with it
جِبَاهُهُمْ their foreheads jibāhuhum
their foreheads
وَجُنُوبُهُمْ and their flanks wajunūbuhum
and their flanks
وَظُهُورُهُمْ ۖ and their backs waẓuhūruhum
and their backs
هَـٰذَا This hādhā
This
مَا (is) what
(is) what
كَنَزْتُمْ you hoarded kanaztum
you hoarded
لِأَنفُسِكُمْ for yourselves li-anfusikum
for yourselves
فَذُوقُوا۟ so taste fadhūqū
so taste
مَا what
what
كُنتُمْ you used to kuntum
you used to
تَكْنِزُونَ hoard taknizūna
hoard
٣٥ (35)
(35)
le jour où (ces trésors) seront portés à l’incandescence dans le feu de l’Enfer et qu’ils en seront cautérisés, front, flancs et dos :" Voici ce que vous avez thésaurisé pour vous-mêmes. Goûtez de ce que vous thésaurisiez !"
9:36
إِنَّ Indeed inna

ٱلشُّهُورِ (of) the months l-shuhūri

عِندَ with ʿinda

ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi

ٱثْنَا (is) twelve ith'nā

عَشَرَ (is) twelve ʿashara
(is) twelve
شَهْرًۭا months shahran
months
فِى in
in
كِتَـٰبِ (the) ordinance kitābi
(the) ordinance
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
يَوْمَ (from the) Day yawma
(from the) Day
خَلَقَ He created khalaqa
He created
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens l-samāwāti
the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضَ and the earth wal-arḍa
and the earth
مِنْهَآ of them min'hā
of them
أَرْبَعَةٌ four arbaʿatun
four
حُرُمٌۭ ۚ (are) sacred ḥurumun
(are) sacred
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika
That
ٱلدِّينُ (is) the religion l-dīnu
(is) the religion
ٱلْقَيِّمُ ۚ the upright l-qayimu
the upright
فَلَا so (do) not falā
so (do) not
تَظْلِمُوا۟ wrong taẓlimū
wrong
فِيهِنَّ therein fīhinna
therein
أَنفُسَكُمْ ۚ yourselves anfusakum
yourselves
وَقَـٰتِلُوا۟ And fight waqātilū
And fight
ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ the polytheists l-mush'rikīna
the polytheists
كَآفَّةًۭ all together kāffatan
all together
كَمَا as kamā
as
يُقَـٰتِلُونَكُمْ they fight you yuqātilūnakum
they fight you
كَآفَّةًۭ ۚ all together kāffatan
all together
وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ And know wa-iʿ'lamū
And know
أَنَّ that anna
that
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
مَعَ (is) with maʿa
(is) with
ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ the righteous l-mutaqīna
the righteous
٣٦ (36)
(36)
Le nombre de mois, auprès d’Allah, est de douze [mois], dans la prescription d’Allah, le jour où Il créa les cieux et la terre. Quatre d’entre eux sont sacrés: telle est la religion droite. [Durant ces mois], ne faites pas de tort à vous-mêmes. Combattez les associateurs sans exception, comme ils vous combattent sans exception. Et sachez qu’Allah est avec les pieux.
9:37
إِنَّمَا Indeed innamā
Indeed
ٱلنَّسِىٓءُ the postponing l-nasīu
the postponing
زِيَادَةٌۭ (is) an increase ziyādatun
(is) an increase
فِى in
in
ٱلْكُفْرِ ۖ the disbelief l-kuf'ri
the disbelief
يُضَلُّ are led astray yuḍallu
are led astray
بِهِ by it bihi
by it
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve kafarū
disbelieve
يُحِلُّونَهُۥ They make it lawful yuḥillūnahu
They make it lawful
عَامًۭا one year ʿāman
one year
وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُۥ and make it unlawful wayuḥarrimūnahu
and make it unlawful
عَامًۭا (another) year ʿāman
(another) year
لِّيُوَاطِـُٔوا۟ to adjust liyuwāṭiū
to adjust
عِدَّةَ the number ʿiddata
the number
مَا which
which
حَرَّمَ Allah has made unlawful ḥarrama
Allah has made unlawful
ٱللَّهُ Allah has made unlawful l-lahu
Allah has made unlawful
فَيُحِلُّوا۟ and making lawful fayuḥillū
and making lawful
مَا what
what
حَرَّمَ Allah has made unlawful ḥarrama
Allah has made unlawful
ٱللَّهُ ۚ Allah has made unlawful l-lahu
Allah has made unlawful
زُيِّنَ Is made fair-seeming zuyyina
Is made fair-seeming
لَهُمْ to them lahum
to them
سُوٓءُ (the) evil sūu
(the) evil
أَعْمَـٰلِهِمْ ۗ (of) their deeds aʿmālihim
(of) their deeds
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
لَا (does) not
(does) not
يَهْدِى guide yahdī
guide
ٱلْقَوْمَ the people l-qawma
the people
ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers l-kāfirīna
the disbelievers
٣٧ (37)
(37)
Le report d’un mois sacré à un autre est un surcroît de mécréance. Par là, les mécréants sont égarés: une année, ils le font profane, et une année, ils le font sacré, afin d’ajuster le nombre de mois qu’Allah a fait sacrés. Ainsi rendent-ils profane ce qu’Allah a fait sacré. Leurs méfaits leurs sont enjolivés. Et Allah ne guide pas les gens mécréants.
9:38
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe yāayyuhā
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe alladhīna
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوا۟ O you who believe āmanū
O you who believe
مَا What
What
لَكُمْ (is the matter) with you lakum
(is the matter) with you
إِذَا when idhā
when
قِيلَ it is said qīla
it is said
لَكُمُ to you lakumu
to you
ٱنفِرُوا۟ go forth infirū
go forth
فِى in
in
سَبِيلِ (the) way sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
ٱثَّاقَلْتُمْ you cling heavily ithāqaltum
you cling heavily
إِلَى to ilā
to
ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ the earth l-arḍi
the earth
أَرَضِيتُم Are you pleased araḍītum
Are you pleased
بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِ with the life bil-ḥayati
with the life
ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world l-dun'yā
(of) the world
مِنَ (rather) than mina
(rather) than
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ the Hereafter l-ākhirati
the Hereafter
فَمَا But what famā
But what
مَتَـٰعُ (is the) enjoyment matāʿu
(is the) enjoyment
ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ (of) the life l-ḥayati
(of) the life
ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world l-dun'yā
(of) the world
فِى in (comparison to)
in (comparison to)
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ the hereafter l-ākhirati
the hereafter
إِلَّا except illā
except
قَلِيلٌ a little qalīlun
a little
٣٨ (38)
(38)
Ô vous qui croyez ! Qu’avez-vous ? Lorsque l’on vous a dit : "Élancez-vous dans le sentier d’Allah !" Vous êtes-vous appesantis sur la terre. La vie présente vous agrée-t-elle plus que l’au-delà ? - Or, la jouissance de la vie présente ne sera que peu de chose, comparée à l’au-delà !
9:39
إِلَّا If not illā

يُعَذِّبْكُمْ He will punish you yuʿadhib'kum

عَذَابًا (with) a painful punishment ʿadhāban
(with) a painful punishment
أَلِيمًۭا (with) a painful punishment alīman
(with) a painful punishment
وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ and will replace you wayastabdil
and will replace you
قَوْمًا (with) a people qawman
(with) a people
غَيْرَكُمْ other than you ghayrakum
other than you
وَلَا and not walā
and not
تَضُرُّوهُ you can harm Him taḍurrūhu
you can harm Him
شَيْـًۭٔا ۗ (in) anything shayan
(in) anything
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلَىٰ (is) on ʿalā
(is) on
كُلِّ every kulli
every
شَىْءٍۢ thing shayin
thing
قَدِيرٌ All-Powerful qadīrun
All-Powerful
٣٩ (39)
(39)
Si vous ne vous lancez pas au combat, Il vous châtiera d’un châtiment douloureux et vous remplacera par un autre peuple. Et vous ne Lui nuirez en rien. Et Allah est Omnipotent .
9:40
إِلَّا If not illā

تَنصُرُوهُ you help him tanṣurūhu

فَقَدْ certainly faqad
certainly
نَصَرَهُ Allah helped him naṣarahu
Allah helped him
ٱللَّهُ Allah helped him l-lahu
Allah helped him

أَخْرَجَهُ drove him out akhrajahu
drove him out
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved kafarū
disbelieved
ثَانِىَ the second thāniya
the second
ٱثْنَيْنِ (of) the two ith'nayni
(of) the two
إِذْ when idh
when
هُمَا they both humā
they both
فِى (were) in
(were) in
ٱلْغَارِ the cave l-ghāri
the cave
إِذْ when idh
when
يَقُولُ he said yaqūlu
he said
لِصَـٰحِبِهِۦ to his companion liṣāḥibihi
to his companion
لَا (Do) not
(Do) not
تَحْزَنْ grieve taḥzan
grieve
إِنَّ indeed inna
indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
مَعَنَا ۖ (is) with us maʿanā
(is) with us
فَأَنزَلَ Then Allah sent down fa-anzala
Then Allah sent down
ٱللَّهُ Then Allah sent down l-lahu
Then Allah sent down
سَكِينَتَهُۥ His tranquility sakīnatahu
His tranquility
عَلَيْهِ upon him ʿalayhi
upon him
وَأَيَّدَهُۥ and supported him wa-ayyadahu
and supported him
بِجُنُودٍۢ with forces bijunūdin
with forces
لَّمْ which you did not see lam
which you did not see
تَرَوْهَا which you did not see tarawhā
which you did not see
وَجَعَلَ and made wajaʿala
and made
كَلِمَةَ (the) word kalimata
(the) word
ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who alladhīna
(of) those who
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved kafarū
disbelieved
ٱلسُّفْلَىٰ ۗ the lowest l-suf'lā
the lowest
وَكَلِمَةُ while (the) Word wakalimatu
while (the) Word
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
هِىَ it (is) hiya
it (is)
ٱلْعُلْيَا ۗ the highest l-ʿul'yā
the highest
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
عَزِيزٌ (is) All-Mighty ʿazīzun
(is) All-Mighty
حَكِيمٌ All-Wise ḥakīmun
All-Wise
٤٠ (40)
(40)
Si vous ne lui portez pas secours... Allah l’a déjà secouru, lorsque ceux qui avaient mécru l’avaient banni, deuxième de deux. Quand ils étaient dans la grotte et qu’il disait à son compagnon : “Ne t’afflige pas, car Allah est avec nous.” Allah fit alors descendre sur lui Sa sérénité (As-Sakînah) et le soutint de soldats (Anges) que vous ne voyiez pas, et Il abaissa ainsi la parole des mécréants, tandis que la parole d’Allah eut le dessus. Et Allah est Puissant et Sage .
9:41
ٱنفِرُوا۟ Go forth infirū

خِفَافًۭا light khifāfan
light
وَثِقَالًۭا or heavy wathiqālan
or heavy
وَجَـٰهِدُوا۟ and strive wajāhidū
and strive
بِأَمْوَٰلِكُمْ with your wealth bi-amwālikum
with your wealth
وَأَنفُسِكُمْ and your lives wa-anfusikum
and your lives
فِى in
in
سَبِيلِ (the) way sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ ۚ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
ذَٰلِكُمْ That dhālikum
That
خَيْرٌۭ (is) better khayrun
(is) better
لَّكُمْ for you lakum
for you
إِن if in
if
كُنتُمْ you kuntum
you
تَعْلَمُونَ know taʿlamūna
know
٤١ (41)
(41)
Légers ou lourds, lancez-vous au combat, et luttez avec vos biens et vos personnes dans le sentier d’Allah. Cela est meilleur pour vous, si vous saviez.
9:42
لَوْ If law
If
كَانَ it had been kāna
it had been
عَرَضًۭا a gain ʿaraḍan
a gain
قَرِيبًۭا near qarīban
near
وَسَفَرًۭا and a journey wasafaran
and a journey
قَاصِدًۭا easy qāṣidan
easy
لَّٱتَّبَعُوكَ surely they (would) have followed you la-ittabaʿūka
surely they (would) have followed you
وَلَـٰكِنۢ but walākin
but
بَعُدَتْ was long baʿudat
was long
عَلَيْهِمُ for them ʿalayhimu
for them
ٱلشُّقَّةُ ۚ the distance l-shuqatu
the distance
وَسَيَحْلِفُونَ And they will swear wasayaḥlifūna
And they will swear
بِٱللَّهِ by Allah bil-lahi
by Allah
لَوِ If lawi
If
ٱسْتَطَعْنَا we were able is'taṭaʿnā
we were able
لَخَرَجْنَا certainly we (would) have come forth lakharajnā
certainly we (would) have come forth
مَعَكُمْ with you maʿakum
with you
يُهْلِكُونَ They destroy yuh'likūna
They destroy
أَنفُسَهُمْ their own selves anfusahum
their own selves
وَٱللَّهُ and Allah wal-lahu
and Allah
يَعْلَمُ knows yaʿlamu
knows
إِنَّهُمْ (that) indeed, they innahum
(that) indeed, they
لَكَـٰذِبُونَ (are) surely liars lakādhibūna
(are) surely liars
٤٢ (42)
(42)
S’il s’était agi d’un butin facile ou d’un court voyage, ils t’auraient suivi; mais la distance leur parut longue . Et ils jureront par Allah: "Si nous avions pu, nous serions sortis en votre compagnie." Ils se perdent eux-mêmes. Et Allah sait bien qu’ils mentent.
9:43
عَفَا (May) Allah forgive ʿafā

ٱللَّهُ (May) Allah forgive l-lahu
(May) Allah forgive
عَنكَ you ʿanka
you
لِمَ Why (did) lima
Why (did)
أَذِنتَ you grant leave adhinta
you grant leave
لَهُمْ to them lahum
to them
حَتَّىٰ until ḥattā
until
يَتَبَيَّنَ (became) evident yatabayyana
(became) evident
لَكَ to you laka
to you
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
صَدَقُوا۟ were truthful ṣadaqū
were truthful
وَتَعْلَمَ and you knew wataʿlama
and you knew
ٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَ the liars l-kādhibīna
the liars
٤٣ (43)
(43)
Qu’Allah te pardonne ! Pourquoi leur as-tu donné permission avant que tu ne puisses distinguer ceux qui disaient vrai et reconnaître les menteurs ?
9:44
لَا (Would) not ask your permission
(Would) not ask your permission
يَسْتَـْٔذِنُكَ (Would) not ask your permission yastadhinuka
(Would) not ask your permission
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
يُؤْمِنُونَ believe yu'minūna
believe
بِٱللَّهِ in Allah bil-lahi
in Allah
وَٱلْيَوْمِ and the Day wal-yawmi
and the Day
ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ the Last l-ākhiri
the Last
أَن that an
that
يُجَـٰهِدُوا۟ they strive yujāhidū
they strive
بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ with their wealth bi-amwālihim
with their wealth
وَأَنفُسِهِمْ ۗ and their lives wa-anfusihim
and their lives
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knower ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knower
بِٱلْمُتَّقِينَ of the righteous bil-mutaqīna
of the righteous
٤٤ (44)
(44)
Ceux qui croient en Allah et au Jour Dernier ne te demandent pas permission quand il s’agit de mener combat avec leurs biens et leurs personnes. Et Allah connaît bien les pieux.
9:45
إِنَّمَا Only innamā

يَسْتَـْٔذِنُكَ ask your leave yastadhinuka
ask your leave
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
لَا (do) not
(do) not
يُؤْمِنُونَ believe yu'minūna
believe
بِٱللَّهِ in Allah bil-lahi
in Allah
وَٱلْيَوْمِ and the Day wal-yawmi
and the Day
ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ the Last l-ākhiri
the Last
وَٱرْتَابَتْ and (are in) doubts wa-ir'tābat
and (are in) doubts
قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts qulūbuhum
their hearts
فَهُمْ so they fahum
so they
فِى in
in
رَيْبِهِمْ their doubts raybihim
their doubts
يَتَرَدَّدُونَ they waver yataraddadūna
they waver
٤٥ (45)
(45)
Ne te demandent permission que ceux qui ne croient pas en Allah et au Jour Dernier, et dont les cœurs sont emplis de doute. Ils ne font qu’hésiter dans leur incertitude.
9:46
۞ وَلَوْ And if walaw
And if
أَرَادُوا۟ they had wished arādū
they had wished
ٱلْخُرُوجَ (to) go forth l-khurūja
(to) go forth
لَأَعَدُّوا۟ surely they (would) have prepared la-aʿaddū
surely they (would) have prepared
لَهُۥ for it lahu
for it
عُدَّةًۭ (some) preparation ʿuddatan
(some) preparation
وَلَـٰكِن But walākin
But
كَرِهَ Allah disliked kariha
Allah disliked
ٱللَّهُ Allah disliked l-lahu
Allah disliked
ٱنۢبِعَاثَهُمْ their being sent inbiʿāthahum
their being sent
فَثَبَّطَهُمْ so He made them lag behind fathabbaṭahum
so He made them lag behind
وَقِيلَ and it was said waqīla
and it was said
ٱقْعُدُوا۟ Sit uq'ʿudū
Sit
مَعَ with maʿa
with
ٱلْقَـٰعِدِينَ those who sit l-qāʿidīna
those who sit
٤٦ (46)
(46)
Et s’ils avaient voulu partir (au combat), ils lui auraient fait des préparatifs. Mais leur départ répugna à Allah; Il les a rendus paresseux. Et il leur fut dit : "Restez avec ceux qui restent !"
9:47
لَوْ If law
If
خَرَجُوا۟ they (had) gone forth kharajū
they (had) gone forth
فِيكُم with you fīkum
with you
مَّا not
not
زَادُوكُمْ they (would) have increased you zādūkum
they (would) have increased you
إِلَّا except illā
except
خَبَالًۭا (in) confusion khabālan
(in) confusion
وَلَأَوْضَعُوا۟ and would have been active wala-awḍaʿū
and would have been active
خِلَـٰلَكُمْ in your midst khilālakum
in your midst
يَبْغُونَكُمُ seeking (for) you yabghūnakumu
seeking (for) you
ٱلْفِتْنَةَ dissension l-fit'nata
dissension
وَفِيكُمْ And among you (are some) wafīkum
And among you (are some)
سَمَّـٰعُونَ who would have listened sammāʿūna
who would have listened
لَهُمْ ۗ to them lahum
to them
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌۢ (is) All-Knower ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knower
بِٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ of the wrongdoers bil-ẓālimīna
of the wrongdoers
٤٧ (47)
(47)
S’ils étaient sortis avec vous, ils n’auraient fait qu’accroître votre trouble et jeter la dissension dans vos rangs, cherchant à créer la discorde entre vous. Et il y en a parmi vous qui les écoutent. Et Allah connaît bien les injustes.
9:48
لَقَدِ Verily laqadi
Verily
ٱبْتَغَوُا۟ they had sought ib'taghawū
they had sought
ٱلْفِتْنَةَ dissension l-fit'nata
dissension
مِن before min
before
قَبْلُ before qablu
before
وَقَلَّبُوا۟ and had upset waqallabū
and had upset
لَكَ for you laka
for you
ٱلْأُمُورَ the matters l-umūra
the matters
حَتَّىٰ until ḥattā
until
جَآءَ came jāa
came
ٱلْحَقُّ the truth l-ḥaqu
the truth
وَظَهَرَ and became manifest waẓahara
and became manifest
أَمْرُ (the) Order of Allah amru
(the) Order of Allah
ٱللَّهِ (the) Order of Allah l-lahi
(the) Order of Allah
وَهُمْ while they wahum
while they
كَـٰرِهُونَ disliked (it) kārihūna
disliked (it)
٤٨ (48)
(48)
Ils ont, auparavant, cherché à semer la discorde (dans vos rangs) et à embrouiller tes affaires jusqu’à ce que vint la vérité et triomphât le commandement d’Allah, en dépit de leur hostilité.
9:49
وَمِنْهُم And among them wamin'hum
And among them
مَّن (is he) who man
(is he) who
يَقُولُ says yaqūlu
says
ٱئْذَن Grant me leave i'dhan
Grant me leave
لِّى Grant me leave
Grant me leave
وَلَا and (do) not walā
and (do) not
تَفْتِنِّىٓ ۚ put me to trial taftinnī
put me to trial
أَلَا Surely alā
Surely
فِى in
in
ٱلْفِتْنَةِ the trial l-fit'nati
the trial
سَقَطُوا۟ ۗ they have fallen saqaṭū
they have fallen
وَإِنَّ And indeed wa-inna
And indeed
جَهَنَّمَ Hell jahannama
Hell
لَمُحِيطَةٌۢ (will) surely surround lamuḥīṭatun
(will) surely surround
بِٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ the disbelievers bil-kāfirīna
the disbelievers
٤٩ (49)
(49)
Parmi eux il en est qui dit : “Donne-moi la permission (de rester) et ne m’expose pas à la tentation !” Or, c’est bien dans la tentation qu’ils sont tombés; et l’Enfer cerne de toutes parts les mécréants .
9:50
إِن If in

تُصِبْكَ befalls you tuṣib'ka

حَسَنَةٌۭ good ḥasanatun
good
تَسُؤْهُمْ ۖ it distresses them tasu'hum
it distresses them
وَإِن but if wa-in
but if
تُصِبْكَ befalls you tuṣib'ka
befalls you
مُصِيبَةٌۭ a calamity muṣībatun
a calamity
يَقُولُوا۟ they say yaqūlū
they say
قَدْ Verily qad
Verily
أَخَذْنَآ we took akhadhnā
we took
أَمْرَنَا our matter amranā
our matter
مِن before min
before
قَبْلُ before qablu
before
وَيَتَوَلَّوا۟ And they turn away wayatawallaw
And they turn away
وَّهُمْ while they wahum
while they
فَرِحُونَ (are) rejoicing fariḥūna
(are) rejoicing
٥٠ (50)
(50)
Qu’un bonheur t’atteigne, ça les afflige. Et que t’atteigne un malheur, ils disent : "Heureusement que nous avions pris d’avance nos précautions." Et ils se détournent tout en exultant.
9:51
قُل Say qul

يُصِيبَنَآ will befall us yuṣībanā

مَوْلَىٰنَا ۚ (is) our Protector mawlānā

وَعَلَى And on waʿalā
And on
ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi
Allah
فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ [so] let the believers put (their) trust falyatawakkali
[so] let the believers put (their) trust
ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ [so] let the believers put (their) trust l-mu'minūna
[so] let the believers put (their) trust
٥١ (51)
(51)
Dis : "Rien ne nous atteindra, en dehors de ce qu’Allah a prescrit pour nous. Il est notre Maître. Et c’est en Allah que les croyants doivent mettre leur confiance."
9:52
قُلْ Say qul

هَلْ Do hal
Do
تَرَبَّصُونَ you await tarabbaṣūna
you await
بِنَآ for us binā
for us
إِلَّآ except illā
except
إِحْدَى one iḥ'dā
one
ٱلْحُسْنَيَيْنِ ۖ (of) the two best (things) l-ḥus'nayayni
(of) the two best (things)
وَنَحْنُ while we wanaḥnu
while we
نَتَرَبَّصُ [we] await natarabbaṣu
[we] await
بِكُمْ for you bikum
for you
أَن that an
that
يُصِيبَكُمُ Allah will afflict you yuṣībakumu
Allah will afflict you
ٱللَّهُ Allah will afflict you l-lahu
Allah will afflict you
بِعَذَابٍۢ with a punishment biʿadhābin
with a punishment
مِّنْ from min
from
عِندِهِۦٓ [near] Him ʿindihi
[near] Him
أَوْ or aw
or
بِأَيْدِينَا ۖ by our hands bi-aydīnā
by our hands
فَتَرَبَّصُوٓا۟ So wait fatarabbaṣū
So wait
إِنَّا indeed, we innā
indeed, we
مَعَكُم with you maʿakum
with you
مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ (are) waiting mutarabbiṣūna
(are) waiting
٥٢ (52)
(52)
Dis : "Qu’attendez-vous pour nous, sinon l’une des deux meilleures choses ? Tandis que ce que nous attendons pour vous, c’est qu’Allah vous inflige un châtiment de Sa part ou par nos mains. Attendez donc ! Nous attendons aussi, avec vous."
9:53
قُلْ Say qul

أَنفِقُوا۟ Spend anfiqū
Spend
طَوْعًا willingly ṭawʿan
willingly
أَوْ or aw
or
كَرْهًۭا unwillingly karhan
unwillingly
لَّن never lan
never
يُتَقَبَّلَ will be accepted yutaqabbala
will be accepted
مِنكُمْ ۖ from you minkum
from you
إِنَّكُمْ Indeed, you innakum
Indeed, you
كُنتُمْ [you] are kuntum
[you] are
قَوْمًۭا a people qawman
a people
فَـٰسِقِينَ defiantly disobedient fāsiqīna
defiantly disobedient
٥٣ (53)
(53)
Dis : "Dépensez bon gré, mal gré : jamais cela ne sera accepté de vous, car vous êtes des gens pervers."
9:54
وَمَا And not wamā
And not
مَنَعَهُمْ prevents them manaʿahum
prevents them
أَن that an
that
تُقْبَلَ is accepted tuq'bala
is accepted
مِنْهُمْ from them min'hum
from them
نَفَقَـٰتُهُمْ their contributions nafaqātuhum
their contributions
إِلَّآ except illā
except
أَنَّهُمْ that they annahum
that they
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve kafarū
disbelieve
بِٱللَّهِ in Allah bil-lahi
in Allah
وَبِرَسُولِهِۦ and in His Messenger wabirasūlihi
and in His Messenger
وَلَا and not walā
and not
يَأْتُونَ they come yatūna
they come
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ (to) the prayer l-ṣalata
(to) the prayer
إِلَّا except illā
except
وَهُمْ while they wahum
while they
كُسَالَىٰ (are) lazy kusālā
(are) lazy
وَلَا and not walā
and not
يُنفِقُونَ they spend yunfiqūna
they spend
إِلَّا except illā
except
وَهُمْ while they wahum
while they
كَـٰرِهُونَ (are) unwilling kārihūna
(are) unwilling
٥٤ (54)
(54)
Ce qui empêche leurs dons d’être agréés, c’est le fait qu’ils n’ont pas cru en Allah et Son Messager, qu’ils ne se rendent à la prière (As-Salât) que paresseusement, et qu’ils ne dépensent (dans les bonnes œuvres) qu’à contrecœur.
9:55
فَلَا So (let) not falā
So (let) not
تُعْجِبْكَ impress you tuʿ'jib'ka
impress you
أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ their wealth amwāluhum
their wealth
وَلَآ and not walā
and not
أَوْلَـٰدُهُمْ ۚ their children awlāduhum
their children
إِنَّمَا Only innamā
Only
يُرِيدُ Allah intends yurīdu
Allah intends
ٱللَّهُ Allah intends l-lahu
Allah intends
لِيُعَذِّبَهُم to punish them liyuʿadhibahum
to punish them
بِهَا with it bihā
with it
فِى in
in
ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ the life l-ḥayati
the life
ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world l-dun'yā
(of) the world
وَتَزْهَقَ and should depart watazhaqa
and should depart
أَنفُسُهُمْ their souls anfusuhum
their souls
وَهُمْ while they wahum
while they
كَـٰفِرُونَ (are) disbelievers kāfirūna
(are) disbelievers
٥٥ (55)
(55)
Que leurs biens et leurs enfants ne t’émerveillent point ! Allah ne veut par-là que les châtier dans la vie présente, et que (les voir) rendre péniblement l’âme en état de mécréance.
9:56
وَيَحْلِفُونَ And they swear wayaḥlifūna
And they swear
بِٱللَّهِ by Allah bil-lahi
by Allah
إِنَّهُمْ indeed, they innahum
indeed, they
لَمِنكُمْ surely (are) of you laminkum
surely (are) of you
وَمَا while not wamā
while not
هُم they hum
they
مِّنكُمْ (are) of you minkum
(are) of you
وَلَـٰكِنَّهُمْ but they walākinnahum
but they
قَوْمٌۭ (are) a people qawmun
(are) a people
يَفْرَقُونَ (who) are afraid yafraqūna
(who) are afraid
٥٦ (56)
(56)
Et ils (les hypocrites) jurent par Allah qu’ils sont vraiment des vôtres ; alors qu’ils ne le sont pas. Mais ce sont des gens peureux.
9:57
لَوْ If law
If
يَجِدُونَ they could find yajidūna
they could find
مَلْجَـًٔا a refuge malja-an
a refuge
أَوْ or aw
or
مَغَـٰرَٰتٍ caves maghārātin
caves
أَوْ or aw
or
مُدَّخَلًۭا a place to enter muddakhalan
a place to enter
لَّوَلَّوْا۟ surely, they would turn lawallaw
surely, they would turn
إِلَيْهِ to it ilayhi
to it
وَهُمْ and they wahum
and they
يَجْمَحُونَ run wild yajmaḥūna
run wild
٥٧ (57)
(57)
S’ils trouvaient un refuge, des cavernes ou un souterrain, ils s’y tourneraient donc et s’y précipiteraient à bride abattue.
9:58
وَمِنْهُم And among them wamin'hum
And among them
مَّن (is he) who man
(is he) who
يَلْمِزُكَ criticizes you yalmizuka
criticizes you
فِى concerning
concerning
ٱلصَّدَقَـٰتِ the charities l-ṣadaqāti
the charities
فَإِنْ Then if fa-in
Then if
أُعْطُوا۟ they are given uʿ'ṭū
they are given
مِنْهَا from it min'hā
from it
رَضُوا۟ they are pleased raḍū
they are pleased
وَإِن but if wa-in
but if
لَّمْ not lam
not
يُعْطَوْا۟ they are given yuʿ'ṭaw
they are given
مِنْهَآ from it min'hā
from it
إِذَا then idhā
then
هُمْ they hum
they
يَسْخَطُونَ (are) enraged yaskhaṭūna
(are) enraged
٥٨ (58)
(58)
Il en est parmi eux qui te critiquent au sujet des aumônes (As-Sadaqât) : s’il leur en est donné, les voilà satisfaits; mais s’il ne leur en est pas donné, les voilà pleins de rancœur.
9:59
وَلَوْ And if walaw
And if
أَنَّهُمْ [that] they annahum
[that] they
رَضُوا۟ (were) satisfied raḍū
(were) satisfied
مَآ (with) what
(with) what
ءَاتَىٰهُمُ Allah gave them ātāhumu
Allah gave them
ٱللَّهُ Allah gave them l-lahu
Allah gave them
وَرَسُولُهُۥ and His Messenger warasūluhu
and His Messenger
وَقَالُوا۟ and said waqālū
and said
حَسْبُنَا Sufficient for us ḥasbunā
Sufficient for us
ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah l-lahu
(is) Allah
سَيُؤْتِينَا Allah will give us sayu'tīnā
Allah will give us
ٱللَّهُ Allah will give us l-lahu
Allah will give us
مِن of min
of
فَضْلِهِۦ His Bounty faḍlihi
His Bounty
وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ and His Messenger warasūluhu
and His Messenger
إِنَّآ Indeed, we innā
Indeed, we
إِلَى to ilā
to
ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi
Allah
رَٰغِبُونَ turn our hopes rāghibūna
turn our hopes
٥٩ (59)
(59)
S’ils s’étaient contentés de ce qu’Allah leur avait donné ainsi que Son Messager et avaient dit : "Allah nous suffit. Bientôt Allah nous accordera Sa faveur de même que Son Messager !... C’est vers Allah que va tout notre désir."
9:60
۞ إِنَّمَا Only innamā
Only
ٱلصَّدَقَـٰتُ the charities l-ṣadaqātu
the charities
لِلْفُقَرَآءِ (are) for the poor lil'fuqarāi
(are) for the poor
وَٱلْمَسَـٰكِينِ and the needy wal-masākīni
and the needy
وَٱلْعَـٰمِلِينَ and those who collect wal-ʿāmilīna
and those who collect
عَلَيْهَا them ʿalayhā
them
وَٱلْمُؤَلَّفَةِ and the ones inclined wal-mu-alafati
and the ones inclined
قُلُوبُهُمْ their hearts qulūbuhum
their hearts
وَفِى and in wafī
and in
ٱلرِّقَابِ the (freeing of) the necks l-riqābi
the (freeing of) the necks
وَٱلْغَـٰرِمِينَ and for those in debt wal-ghārimīna
and for those in debt
وَفِى and in wafī
and in
سَبِيلِ (the) way sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
وَٱبْنِ and the wayfarer wa-ib'ni
and the wayfarer
ٱلسَّبِيلِ ۖ and the wayfarer l-sabīli
and the wayfarer
فَرِيضَةًۭ an obligation farīḍatan
an obligation
مِّنَ from mina
from
ٱللَّهِ ۗ Allah l-lahi
Allah
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knowing ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knowing
حَكِيمٌۭ All-Wise ḥakīmun
All-Wise
٦٠ (60)
(60)
Les aumônes (As-Sadaqât) ne sont destinées que pour les pauvres, les indigents, ceux qui y travaillent, ceux dont les cœurs sont à gagner (à l’islam), l’affranchissement des jougs, ceux qui sont lourdement endettés, dans le sentier d’Allah, et pour le voyageur (en détresse). C’est un décret d’Allah ! Et Allah est Omniscient et Sage .
9:61
وَمِنْهُمُ And among them wamin'humu
And among them
ٱلَّذِينَ (are) those who alladhīna
(are) those who
يُؤْذُونَ hurt yu'dhūna
hurt
ٱلنَّبِىَّ the Prophet l-nabiya
the Prophet
وَيَقُولُونَ and they say wayaqūlūna
and they say
هُوَ He is huwa
He is
أُذُنٌۭ ۚ (all) ear udhunun
(all) ear
قُلْ Say qul
Say
أُذُنُ An ear udhunu
An ear
خَيْرٍۢ (of) goodness khayrin
(of) goodness
لَّكُمْ for you lakum
for you
يُؤْمِنُ he believes yu'minu
he believes
بِٱللَّهِ in Allah bil-lahi
in Allah
وَيُؤْمِنُ and believes wayu'minu
and believes
لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers lil'mu'minīna
the believers
وَرَحْمَةٌۭ and (is) a mercy waraḥmatun
and (is) a mercy
لِّلَّذِينَ to those who lilladhīna
to those who
ءَامَنُوا۟ believe āmanū
believe
مِنكُمْ ۚ among you minkum
among you
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who wa-alladhīna
And those who
يُؤْذُونَ hurt yu'dhūna
hurt
رَسُولَ (the) Messenger rasūla
(the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
لَهُمْ for them lahum
for them
عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment ʿadhābun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٌۭ painful alīmun
painful
٦١ (61)
(61)
Et il en est parmi eux ceux qui font du tort au Prophète et disent : "Il est tout oreille ." - Dis : "Une oreille pour votre bien. Il croit en Allah et fait confiance aux croyants, et il est une miséricorde pour ceux d’entre vous qui croient. Et ceux qui font du tort au Messager d’Allah auront un châtiment douloureux.
9:62
يَحْلِفُونَ They swear yaḥlifūna
They swear
بِٱللَّهِ by Allah bil-lahi
by Allah
لَكُمْ to you lakum
to you
لِيُرْضُوكُمْ to please you liyur'ḍūkum
to please you
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ and His Messenger warasūluhu
and His Messenger
أَحَقُّ (have) more right aḥaqqu
(have) more right
أَن that an
that
يُرْضُوهُ they should please Him yur'ḍūhu
they should please Him
إِن if in
if
كَانُوا۟ they are kānū
they are
مُؤْمِنِينَ believers mu'minīna
believers
٦٢ (62)
(62)
Ils vous jurent par Allah pour vous satisfaire alors qu’Allah - ainsi que Son Messager - est plus en droit qu’ils Le satisfassent, s’ils sont vraiment croyants.
9:63
أَلَمْ Do not alam
Do not
يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ they know yaʿlamū
they know
أَنَّهُۥ that he annahu
that he
مَن who man
who
يُحَادِدِ opposes yuḥādidi
opposes
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ and His Messenger warasūlahu
and His Messenger
فَأَنَّ [then] that fa-anna
[then] that
لَهُۥ for him lahu
for him
نَارَ (is the) Fire nāra
(is the) Fire
جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell jahannama
(of) Hell
خَـٰلِدًۭا (will) abide forever khālidan
(will) abide forever
فِيهَا ۚ in it fīhā
in it
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika
That
ٱلْخِزْىُ (is) the disgrace l-khiz'yu
(is) the disgrace
ٱلْعَظِيمُ the great l-ʿaẓīmu
the great
٦٣ (63)
(63)
Ne savent-ils pas qu’en vérité quiconque s’oppose à Allah et à Son Messager, aura le feu de l’Enfer pour y demeurer éternellement ? Et voilà l’immense opprobre.
9:64
يَحْذَرُ Fear yaḥdharu
Fear
ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقُونَ the hypocrites l-munāfiqūna
the hypocrites
أَن lest an
lest
تُنَزَّلَ be revealed tunazzala
be revealed
عَلَيْهِمْ about them ʿalayhim
about them
سُورَةٌۭ a Surah sūratun
a Surah
تُنَبِّئُهُم informing them tunabbi-uhum
informing them
بِمَا of what bimā
of what
فِى (is) in
(is) in
قُلُوبِهِمْ ۚ their hearts qulūbihim
their hearts
قُلِ Say quli
Say
ٱسْتَهْزِءُوٓا۟ Mock is'tahziū
Mock
إِنَّ indeed inna
indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
مُخْرِجٌۭ (will) bring forth mukh'rijun
(will) bring forth
مَّا what
what
تَحْذَرُونَ you fear taḥdharūna
you fear
٦٤ (64)
(64)
Les hypocrites craignent que l’on fasse descendre sur eux une sourate leur dévoilant ce qu’il y a dans leurs cœurs. Dis : "Moquez-vous ! Allah fera surgir ce que vous prenez la précaution (de cacher)."
9:65
وَلَئِن And if wala-in
And if
سَأَلْتَهُمْ you ask them sa-altahum
you ask them
لَيَقُولُنَّ surely they will say layaqūlunna
surely they will say
إِنَّمَا Only innamā
Only
كُنَّا we were kunnā
we were
نَخُوضُ conversing nakhūḍu
conversing
وَنَلْعَبُ ۚ and playing wanalʿabu
and playing
قُلْ Say qul
Say
أَبِٱللَّهِ Is it Allah abil-lahi
Is it Allah
وَءَايَـٰتِهِۦ and His Verses waāyātihi
and His Verses
وَرَسُولِهِۦ and His Messenger warasūlihi
and His Messenger
كُنتُمْ (that) you were kuntum
(that) you were
تَسْتَهْزِءُونَ mocking tastahziūna
mocking
٦٥ (65)
(65)
Et si tu les interrogeais, ils diraient très certainement: "Vraiment, nous ne faisions que bavarder et jouer." Dis : "Est-ce d’Allah, de Ses versets (le Coran) et de Son Messager que vous vous moquiez ?"
9:66
لَا (Do) not
(Do) not
تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ make excuse taʿtadhirū
make excuse
قَدْ verily qad
verily
كَفَرْتُم you have disbelieved kafartum
you have disbelieved
بَعْدَ after baʿda
after
إِيمَـٰنِكُمْ ۚ your belief īmānikum
your belief
إِن If in
If
نَّعْفُ We pardon naʿfu
We pardon
عَن [on] ʿan
[on]
طَآئِفَةٍۢ a party ṭāifatin
a party
مِّنكُمْ of you minkum
of you
نُعَذِّبْ We will punish nuʿadhib
We will punish
طَآئِفَةًۢ a party ṭāifatan
a party
بِأَنَّهُمْ because they bi-annahum
because they
كَانُوا۟ were kānū
were
مُجْرِمِينَ criminals muj'rimīna
criminals
٦٦ (66)
(66)
Ne vous excusez pas : vous avez bel et bien rejeté la foi après avoir cru. Si Nous pardonnons à une partie des vôtres , Nous en châtierons une autre pour avoir été des criminels.
9:67
ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقُونَ The hypocrite men al-munāfiqūna
The hypocrite men
وَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتُ and the hypocrite women wal-munāfiqātu
and the hypocrite women
بَعْضُهُم some of them baʿḍuhum
some of them
مِّنۢ (are) of min
(are) of
بَعْضٍۢ ۚ others baʿḍin
others
يَأْمُرُونَ They enjoin yamurūna
They enjoin
بِٱلْمُنكَرِ the wrong bil-munkari
the wrong
وَيَنْهَوْنَ and forbid wayanhawna
and forbid
عَنِ what ʿani
what
ٱلْمَعْرُوفِ (is) the right l-maʿrūfi
(is) the right
وَيَقْبِضُونَ and they close wayaqbiḍūna
and they close
أَيْدِيَهُمْ ۚ their hands aydiyahum
their hands
نَسُوا۟ They forget nasū
They forget
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
فَنَسِيَهُمْ ۗ so He has forgotten them fanasiyahum
so He has forgotten them
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ the hypocrites l-munāfiqīna
the hypocrites
هُمُ they (are) humu
they (are)
ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ the defiantly disobedient l-fāsiqūna
the defiantly disobedient
٦٧ (67)
(67)
Les hypocrites, hommes et femmes, appartiennent les uns aux autres. Ils commandent le blâmable, interdisent le convenable, et replient leurs mains (d’avarice). Ils ont oublié Allah et Il les a alors oubliés. En vérité, les hypocrites sont les pervers.
9:68
وَعَدَ Allah has promised waʿada
Allah has promised
ٱللَّهُ Allah has promised l-lahu
Allah has promised
ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ the hypocrite men l-munāfiqīna
the hypocrite men
وَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتِ and the hypocrite women wal-munāfiqāti
and the hypocrite women
وَٱلْكُفَّارَ and the disbelievers wal-kufāra
and the disbelievers
نَارَ Fire nāra
Fire
جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell jahannama
(of) Hell
خَـٰلِدِينَ they (will) abide forever khālidīna
they (will) abide forever
فِيهَا ۚ in it fīhā
in it
هِىَ It (is) hiya
It (is)
حَسْبُهُمْ ۚ sufficient for them ḥasbuhum
sufficient for them
وَلَعَنَهُمُ And Allah has cursed them walaʿanahumu
And Allah has cursed them
ٱللَّهُ ۖ And Allah has cursed them l-lahu
And Allah has cursed them
وَلَهُمْ and for them walahum
and for them
عَذَابٌۭ (is) a punishment ʿadhābun
(is) a punishment
مُّقِيمٌۭ enduring muqīmun
enduring
٦٨ (68)
(68)
Aux hypocrites, hommes et femmes, et aux mécréants, Allah a promis le feu de l’Enfer pour qu’ils y demeurent éternellement. C’est suffisant pour eux. Allah les a maudits. Et pour eux, il y aura un châtiment permanent.
9:69
كَٱلَّذِينَ Like those ka-alladhīna
Like those
مِن before you min
before you
قَبْلِكُمْ before you qablikum
before you
كَانُوٓا۟ they were kānū
they were
أَشَدَّ mightier ashadda
mightier
مِنكُمْ than you minkum
than you
قُوَّةًۭ (in) strength quwwatan
(in) strength
وَأَكْثَرَ and more abundant wa-akthara
and more abundant
أَمْوَٰلًۭا (in) wealth amwālan
(in) wealth
وَأَوْلَـٰدًۭا and children wa-awlādan
and children
فَٱسْتَمْتَعُوا۟ So they enjoyed fa-is'tamtaʿū
So they enjoyed
بِخَلَـٰقِهِمْ their portion bikhalāqihim
their portion
فَٱسْتَمْتَعْتُم and you have enjoyed fa-is'tamtaʿtum
and you have enjoyed
بِخَلَـٰقِكُمْ your portion bikhalāqikum
your portion
كَمَا like kamā
like
ٱسْتَمْتَعَ enjoyed is'tamtaʿa
enjoyed
ٱلَّذِينَ those alladhīna
those
مِن before you min
before you
قَبْلِكُم before you qablikum
before you
بِخَلَـٰقِهِمْ their portion bikhalāqihim
their portion
وَخُضْتُمْ and you indulge wakhuḍ'tum
and you indulge
كَٱلَّذِى like the one who ka-alladhī
like the one who
خَاضُوٓا۟ ۚ indulges (in idle talk) khāḍū
indulges (in idle talk)
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those ulāika
Those
حَبِطَتْ worthless ḥabiṭat
worthless
أَعْمَـٰلُهُمْ (are) their deeds aʿmāluhum
(are) their deeds
فِى in
in
ٱلدُّنْيَا the world l-dun'yā
the world
وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖ and (in) the Hereafter wal-ākhirati
and (in) the Hereafter
وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ And those wa-ulāika
And those
هُمُ they humu
they
ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ (are) the losers l-khāsirūna
(are) the losers
٦٩ (69)
(69)
[Il en fut] de même de ceux qui vous ont précédés: ils étaient plus forts que vous, plus riches et avaient plus d’enfants. Ils jouirent de leur lot [en ce monde] et vous avez joui de votre lot comme ont joui vos prédécesseurs de leur lot. Et vous avez discuté à tort et à travers comme ce qu’ils avaient discuté. Ceux-là verront leurs œuvres anéantis dans ce monde et dans l’autre et ceux-là sont les perdants.
9:70
أَلَمْ Has not alam
Has not
يَأْتِهِمْ come to them yatihim
come to them
نَبَأُ (the) news naba-u
(the) news
ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who alladhīna
(of) those who
مِن (were) before them min
(were) before them
قَبْلِهِمْ (were) before them qablihim
(were) before them
قَوْمِ (the) people qawmi
(the) people
نُوحٍۢ (of) Nuh nūḥin
(of) Nuh
وَعَادٍۢ and Aad waʿādin
and Aad
وَثَمُودَ and Thamud wathamūda
and Thamud
وَقَوْمِ and (the) people waqawmi
and (the) people
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (of) Ibrahim ib'rāhīma
(of) Ibrahim
وَأَصْحَـٰبِ and (the) companions wa-aṣḥābi
and (the) companions
مَدْيَنَ (of) Madyan madyana
(of) Madyan
وَٱلْمُؤْتَفِكَـٰتِ ۚ and the towns overturned wal-mu'tafikāti
and the towns overturned
أَتَتْهُمْ Came to them atathum
Came to them
رُسُلُهُم their Messengers rusuluhum
their Messengers
بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ ۖ with clear proofs bil-bayināti
with clear proofs
فَمَا And not famā
And not
كَانَ was kāna
was
ٱللَّهُ Allah l-lahu
Allah
لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ to wrong them liyaẓlimahum
to wrong them
وَلَـٰكِن but walākin
but
كَانُوٓا۟ they were (to) kānū
they were (to)
أَنفُسَهُمْ themselves anfusahum
themselves
يَظْلِمُونَ doing wrong yaẓlimūna
doing wrong
٧٠ (70)
(70)
Est-ce que ne leur est pas parvenue l’histoire de ceux qui les ont précédés: le peuple de Noé, des ˒Ād, des Thamûd, d’Abraham, des gens de Madyan, et des Villes renversées? Leurs messagers leur avaient apporté des preuves évidentes. Ce ne fut pas Allah qui leur fit du tort, mais ils se firent du tort à eux-mêmes.
9:71
وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ And the believing men wal-mu'minūna
And the believing men
وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتُ and the believing women wal-mu'minātu
and the believing women
بَعْضُهُمْ some of them baʿḍuhum
some of them
أَوْلِيَآءُ (are) allies awliyāu
(are) allies
بَعْضٍۢ ۚ (of) others baʿḍin
(of) others
يَأْمُرُونَ They enjoin yamurūna
They enjoin
بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ the right bil-maʿrūfi
the right
وَيَنْهَوْنَ and forbid wayanhawna
and forbid
عَنِ from ʿani
from
ٱلْمُنكَرِ the wrong l-munkari
the wrong
وَيُقِيمُونَ and they establish wayuqīmūna
and they establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer l-ṣalata
the prayer
وَيُؤْتُونَ and give wayu'tūna
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ the zakah l-zakata
the zakah
وَيُطِيعُونَ and they obey wayuṭīʿūna
and they obey
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ ۚ and His Messenger warasūlahu
and His Messenger
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those ulāika
Those
سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ Allah will have mercy on them sayarḥamuhumu
Allah will have mercy on them
ٱللَّهُ ۗ Allah will have mercy on them l-lahu
Allah will have mercy on them
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
عَزِيزٌ (is) All-Mighty ʿazīzun
(is) All-Mighty
حَكِيمٌۭ All-Wise ḥakīmun
All-Wise
٧١ (71)
(71)
Les croyants et les croyantes sont alliés les uns des autres. Ils commandent le convenable, interdisent le blâmable accomplissent la prière (As-Salât), acquittent l’aumône (Az-Zakât) et obéissent à Allah et à Son Messager. Voilà ceux auxquels Allah fera miséricorde, car Allah est Puissant et Sage.
9:72
وَعَدَ (Has been) promised waʿada
(Has been) promised
ٱللَّهُ (by) Allah l-lahu
(by) Allah
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ (to) the believing men l-mu'minīna
(to) the believing men
وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ and the believing women wal-mu'mināti
and the believing women
جَنَّـٰتٍۢ Gardens jannātin
Gardens
تَجْرِى flow tajrī
flow
مِن from min
from
تَحْتِهَا underneath it taḥtihā
underneath it
ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ the rivers l-anhāru
the rivers
خَـٰلِدِينَ (will) abide forever khālidīna
(will) abide forever
فِيهَا in it fīhā
in it
وَمَسَـٰكِنَ and dwellings wamasākina
and dwellings
طَيِّبَةًۭ blessed ṭayyibatan
blessed
فِى in
in
جَنَّـٰتِ Gardens jannāti
Gardens
عَدْنٍۢ ۚ (of) everlasting bliss ʿadnin
(of) everlasting bliss
وَرِضْوَٰنٌۭ But the pleasure wariḍ'wānun
But the pleasure
مِّنَ of mina
of
ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi
Allah
أَكْبَرُ ۚ (is) greater akbaru
(is) greater
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika
That
هُوَ it huwa
it
ٱلْفَوْزُ (is) the success l-fawzu
(is) the success
ٱلْعَظِيمُ great l-ʿaẓīmu
great
٧٢ (72)
(72)
Aux croyants et aux croyantes, Allah a promis des Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux, pour qu’ils y demeurent éternellement, et des demeures excellentes, aux jardins d’Eden [du séjour permanent]. Et la satisfaction d’Allah est plus grande encore, et c’est là l’énorme succès.
9:73
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O Prophet yāayyuhā
O Prophet
ٱلنَّبِىُّ O Prophet l-nabiyu
O Prophet
جَـٰهِدِ Strive (against) jāhidi
Strive (against)
ٱلْكُفَّارَ the disbelievers l-kufāra
the disbelievers
وَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ and the hypocrites wal-munāfiqīna
and the hypocrites
وَٱغْلُظْ and be stern wa-ugh'luẓ
and be stern
عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ with them ʿalayhim
with them
وَمَأْوَىٰهُمْ And their abode wamawāhum
And their abode
جَهَنَّمُ ۖ (is) Hell jahannamu
(is) Hell
وَبِئْسَ and wretched wabi'sa
and wretched
ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the destination l-maṣīru
(is) the destination
٧٣ (73)
(73)
Ô Prophète ! Lutte contre les mécréants et les hypocrites, et sois rude avec eux ; l’Enfer sera leur refuge, et quelle mauvaise destination !
9:74
يَحْلِفُونَ They swear yaḥlifūna
They swear
بِٱللَّهِ by Allah bil-lahi
by Allah
مَا (that) they said nothing
(that) they said nothing
قَالُوا۟ (that) they said nothing qālū
(that) they said nothing
وَلَقَدْ while certainly walaqad
while certainly
قَالُوا۟ they said qālū
they said
كَلِمَةَ (the) word kalimata
(the) word
ٱلْكُفْرِ (of) the disbelief l-kuf'ri
(of) the disbelief
وَكَفَرُوا۟ and disbelieved wakafarū
and disbelieved
بَعْدَ after baʿda
after
إِسْلَـٰمِهِمْ their (pretense of) Islam is'lāmihim
their (pretense of) Islam
وَهَمُّوا۟ and planned wahammū
and planned
بِمَا [of] what bimā
[of] what
لَمْ not lam
not
يَنَالُوا۟ ۚ they could attain yanālū
they could attain
وَمَا And not wamā
And not
نَقَمُوٓا۟ they were resentful naqamū
they were resentful
إِلَّآ except illā
except
أَنْ that an
that
أَغْنَىٰهُمُ Allah had enriched them aghnāhumu
Allah had enriched them
ٱللَّهُ Allah had enriched them l-lahu
Allah had enriched them
وَرَسُولُهُۥ and His Messenger warasūluhu
and His Messenger
مِن of min
of
فَضْلِهِۦ ۚ His Bounty faḍlihi
His Bounty
فَإِن So if fa-in
So if
يَتُوبُوا۟ they repent yatūbū
they repent
يَكُ it is yaku
it is
خَيْرًۭا better khayran
better
لَّهُمْ ۖ for them lahum
for them
وَإِن and if wa-in
and if
يَتَوَلَّوْا۟ they turn away yatawallaw
they turn away
يُعَذِّبْهُمُ Allah will punish them yuʿadhib'humu
Allah will punish them
ٱللَّهُ Allah will punish them l-lahu
Allah will punish them
عَذَابًا (with) a punishment ʿadhāban
(with) a punishment
أَلِيمًۭا painful alīman
painful
فِى in
in
ٱلدُّنْيَا the world l-dun'yā
the world
وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ and (in) the Hereafter wal-ākhirati
and (in) the Hereafter
وَمَا And not wamā
And not
لَهُمْ for them lahum
for them
فِى in
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ the earth l-arḍi
the earth
مِن any min
any
وَلِىٍّۢ protector waliyyin
protector
وَلَا and not walā
and not
نَصِيرٍۢ a helper naṣīrin
a helper
٧٤ (74)
(74)
Ils jurent par Allah qu’ils n’ont pas dit (ce qu’ils ont proféré), alors qu’en vérité ils ont dit la parole de la mécréance et ils ont rejeté la foi après avoir été musulmans. Ils ont projeté ce qu’ils n’ont pu accomplir. Mais ils n’ont pas de reproche à faire si ce n’est qu’Allah - ainsi que Son Messager - les a enrichis par Sa grâce. S’ils se repentaient, ce serait mieux pour eux. Et s’ils tournent le dos, Allah les châtiera d’un douloureux châtiment, ici-bas et dans l’au-delà; et ils n’auront sur Terre ni allié ni secoureur .
9:75
۞ وَمِنْهُم And among them wamin'hum
And among them
مَّنْ (is he) who man
(is he) who
عَـٰهَدَ made a covenant ʿāhada
made a covenant
ٱللَّهَ (with) Allah l-laha
(with) Allah
لَئِنْ If la-in
If
ءَاتَىٰنَا He gives us ātānā
He gives us
مِن of min
of
فَضْلِهِۦ His bounty faḍlihi
His bounty
لَنَصَّدَّقَنَّ surely we will give charity lanaṣṣaddaqanna
surely we will give charity
وَلَنَكُونَنَّ and surely we will be walanakūnanna
and surely we will be
مِنَ among mina
among
ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ the righteous l-ṣāliḥīna
the righteous
٧٥ (75)
(75)
Et parmi eux il en est qui avaient pris l’engagement envers Allah : "S’il nous donne de Sa grâce, nous payerons, certes, l’aumône (Az-Zakât), et serons du nombre des gens de bien."
9:76
فَلَمَّآ But when falammā
But when
ءَاتَىٰهُم He gave them ātāhum
He gave them
مِّن of min
of
فَضْلِهِۦ His Bounty faḍlihi
His Bounty
بَخِلُوا۟ they became stingy bakhilū
they became stingy
بِهِۦ with it bihi
with it
وَتَوَلَّوا۟ and turned away watawallaw
and turned away
وَّهُم while they wahum
while they
مُّعْرِضُونَ (were) averse muʿ'riḍūna
(were) averse
٧٦ (76)
(76)
Mais, lorsqu’Il leur donna de Sa grâce, ils s’en montrèrent avares et tournèrent le dos en faisant volte-face.
9:77
فَأَعْقَبَهُمْ So He penalized them fa-aʿqabahum
So He penalized them
نِفَاقًۭا (with) hypocrisy nifāqan
(with) hypocrisy
فِى in
in
قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts qulūbihim
their hearts
إِلَىٰ until ilā
until
يَوْمِ the day yawmi
the day
يَلْقَوْنَهُۥ when they will meet Him yalqawnahu
when they will meet Him
بِمَآ because bimā
because
أَخْلَفُوا۟ they broke akhlafū
they broke
ٱللَّهَ (the covenant with) Allah l-laha
(the covenant with) Allah
مَا what
what
وَعَدُوهُ they had promised Him waʿadūhu
they had promised Him
وَبِمَا and because wabimā
and because
كَانُوا۟ they used to kānū
they used to
يَكْذِبُونَ lie yakdhibūna
lie
٧٧ (77)
(77)
Il a donc suscité l’hypocrisie dans leurs cœurs, et cela jusqu’au jour où ils Le rencontreront, pour avoir violé ce qu’ils avaient promis à Allah et pour avoir menti.
9:78
أَلَمْ Do not alam
Do not
يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ they know yaʿlamū
they know
أَنَّ that anna
that
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
يَعْلَمُ knows yaʿlamu
knows
سِرَّهُمْ their secret sirrahum
their secret
وَنَجْوَىٰهُمْ and their secret conversation wanajwāhum
and their secret conversation
وَأَنَّ and that wa-anna
and that
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
عَلَّـٰمُ (is) All-Knower ʿallāmu
(is) All-Knower
ٱلْغُيُوبِ (of) the unseen l-ghuyūbi
(of) the unseen
٧٨ (78)
(78)
Ne savent-ils pas qu’Allah connaît leur secret et leurs conversations confidentielles et qu’Allah connaît parfaitement les (choses) inconnaissables.
9:79
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who alladhīna
Those who
يَلْمِزُونَ criticize yalmizūna
criticize
ٱلْمُطَّوِّعِينَ the ones who give willingly l-muṭawiʿīna
the ones who give willingly
مِنَ of mina
of
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers l-mu'minīna
the believers
فِى concerning
concerning
ٱلصَّدَقَـٰتِ the charities l-ṣadaqāti
the charities
وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who wa-alladhīna
and those who
لَا not
not
يَجِدُونَ find yajidūna
find
إِلَّا except illā
except
جُهْدَهُمْ their effort juh'dahum
their effort
فَيَسْخَرُونَ so they ridicule fayaskharūna
so they ridicule
مِنْهُمْ ۙ them min'hum
them
سَخِرَ Allah will ridicule sakhira
Allah will ridicule
ٱللَّهُ Allah will ridicule l-lahu
Allah will ridicule
مِنْهُمْ them min'hum
them
وَلَهُمْ and for them walahum
and for them
عَذَابٌ (is) a punishment ʿadhābun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٌ painful alīmun
painful
٧٩ (79)
(79)
Ceux-là qui dirigent leurs calomnies contre les croyants qui font des aumônes volontaires et contre ceux qui ne trouvent que leurs faibles moyens (à offrir), et ils se moquent alors d’eux. Qu’Allah les raille ! Et ils auront un châtiment douloureux.
9:80
ٱسْتَغْفِرْ Ask forgiveness is'taghfir

تَسْتَغْفِرْ ask forgiveness tastaghfir
ask forgiveness
لَهُمْ for them lahum

لَهُمْ for them lahum
for them
سَبْعِينَ seventy sabʿīna
seventy
مَرَّةًۭ times marratan
times
فَلَن never falan
never
يَغْفِرَ will Allah forgive yaghfira
will Allah forgive
ٱللَّهُ will Allah forgive l-lahu
will Allah forgive
لَهُمْ ۚ [for] them lahum
[for] them
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika
That
بِأَنَّهُمْ (is) because they bi-annahum
(is) because they
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved kafarū
disbelieved
بِٱللَّهِ in Allah bil-lahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ ۗ and His Messenger warasūlihi
and His Messenger
وَٱللَّهُ and Allah wal-lahu
and Allah
لَا (does) not
(does) not
يَهْدِى guide yahdī
guide
ٱلْقَوْمَ the people l-qawma
the people
ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ the defiantly disobedient l-fāsiqīna
the defiantly disobedient
٨٠ (80)
(80)
Que tu demandes pardon pour eux, ou que tu ne le demandes pas - et si tu demandais pardon pour eux soixante-dix fois - Allah ne leur pardonnerait point. Et ce parce qu’ils n’ont pas cru en Allah et en Son Messager et Allah ne guide pas les gens pervers.
9:81
فَرِحَ Rejoice fariḥa
Rejoice
ٱلْمُخَلَّفُونَ those who remained behind l-mukhalafūna
those who remained behind
بِمَقْعَدِهِمْ in their staying bimaqʿadihim
in their staying
خِلَـٰفَ behind khilāfa
behind
رَسُولِ (the) Messenger rasūli
(the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
وَكَرِهُوٓا۟ and they disliked wakarihū
and they disliked
أَن to an
to
يُجَـٰهِدُوا۟ strive yujāhidū
strive
بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ with their wealth bi-amwālihim
with their wealth
وَأَنفُسِهِمْ and their lives wa-anfusihim
and their lives
فِى in
in
سَبِيلِ (the) way sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
وَقَالُوا۟ and they said waqālū
and they said
لَا (Do) not
(Do) not
تَنفِرُوا۟ go forth tanfirū
go forth
فِى in
in
ٱلْحَرِّ ۗ the heat l-ḥari
the heat
قُلْ Say qul
Say
نَارُ (The) Fire nāru
(The) Fire
جَهَنَّمَ (of) Hell jahannama
(of) Hell
أَشَدُّ (is) more intense ashaddu
(is) more intense
حَرًّۭا ۚ (in) heat ḥarran
(in) heat
لَّوْ If (only) law
If (only)
كَانُوا۟ they could kānū
they could
يَفْقَهُونَ understand yafqahūna
understand
٨١ (81)
(81)
Ceux qui ont été laissés à l’arrière se sont réjouis de pouvoir rester chez eux à l’arrière du Messager d’Allah, et ils ont répugné à lutter par leurs biens et leurs personnes dans le sentier d’Allah, et ont dit : "Ne partez pas au combat pendant cette chaleur !" Dis : "Le feu de l’Enfer est plus intense en chaleur." - S’ils comprenaient ! -
9:82
فَلْيَضْحَكُوا۟ So let them laugh falyaḍḥakū
So let them laugh
قَلِيلًۭا a little qalīlan
a little
وَلْيَبْكُوا۟ and let them weep walyabkū
and let them weep
كَثِيرًۭا much kathīran
much
جَزَآءًۢ (as) a recompense jazāan
(as) a recompense
بِمَا for what bimā
for what
كَانُوا۟ they used to kānū
they used to
يَكْسِبُونَ earn yaksibūna
earn
٨٢ (82)
(82)
Qu’ils rient donc un peu et qu’ils pleurent beaucoup en récompense de ce qu’ils ont acquis.
9:83
فَإِن Then if fa-in
Then if
رَّجَعَكَ Allah returns you rajaʿaka
Allah returns you
ٱللَّهُ Allah returns you l-lahu
Allah returns you
إِلَىٰ to ilā
to
طَآئِفَةٍۢ a group ṭāifatin
a group
مِّنْهُمْ of them min'hum
of them
فَٱسْتَـْٔذَنُوكَ and they ask you permission fa-is'tadhanūka
and they ask you permission
لِلْخُرُوجِ to go out lil'khurūji
to go out
فَقُل then say faqul
then say
لَّن Never lan
Never
تَخْرُجُوا۟ will you come out takhrujū
will you come out
مَعِىَ with me maʿiya
with me
أَبَدًۭا ever abadan
ever
وَلَن and never walan
and never
تُقَـٰتِلُوا۟ will you fight tuqātilū
will you fight
مَعِىَ with me maʿiya
with me
عَدُوًّا ۖ any enemy ʿaduwwan
any enemy
إِنَّكُمْ Indeed, you innakum
Indeed, you
رَضِيتُم were satisfied raḍītum
were satisfied
بِٱلْقُعُودِ with sitting bil-quʿūdi
with sitting
أَوَّلَ (the) first awwala
(the) first
مَرَّةٍۢ time marratin
time
فَٱقْعُدُوا۟ so sit fa-uq'ʿudū
so sit
مَعَ with maʿa
with
ٱلْخَـٰلِفِينَ those who stay behind l-khālifīna
those who stay behind
٨٣ (83)
(83)
Si Allah te ramène vers un groupe de ces (gens-là), et qu’ils te demandent permission de partir au combat, alors dis : "Vous ne sortirez plus jamais en ma compagnie, et vous ne combattrez plus jamais d’ennemis avec moi. Vous avez été plus contents de rester chez vous la première fois. Demeurez donc chez vous en compagnie de ceux qui se tiennent à l’arrière !"
9:84
وَلَا And not walā
And not
تُصَلِّ you pray tuṣalli
you pray
عَلَىٰٓ for ʿalā
for
أَحَدٍۢ any aḥadin
any
مِّنْهُم of them min'hum
of them
مَّاتَ who dies māta
who dies
أَبَدًۭا ever abadan
ever
وَلَا and not walā
and not
تَقُمْ you stand taqum
you stand
عَلَىٰ by ʿalā
by
قَبْرِهِۦٓ ۖ his grave qabrihi
his grave
إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they innahum
Indeed, they
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved kafarū
disbelieved
بِٱللَّهِ in Allah bil-lahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ and His Messenger warasūlihi
and His Messenger
وَمَاتُوا۟ and died wamātū
and died
وَهُمْ while they were wahum
while they were
فَـٰسِقُونَ defiantly disobedient fāsiqūna
defiantly disobedient
٨٤ (84)
(84)
Et ne fais jamais la prière (As-Salât) sur l’un d’entre eux qui meurt, et ne te tiens pas debout auprès de sa tombe, parce qu’ils n’ont pas cru en Allah et en Son Messager, et ils sont morts tout en étant pervers .
9:85
وَلَا And (let) not walā
And (let) not
تُعْجِبْكَ impress you tuʿ'jib'ka
impress you
أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ their wealth amwāluhum
their wealth
وَأَوْلَـٰدُهُمْ ۚ and their children wa-awlāduhum
and their children
إِنَّمَا Only innamā
Only
يُرِيدُ Allah intends yurīdu
Allah intends
ٱللَّهُ Allah intends l-lahu
Allah intends
أَن to an
to
يُعَذِّبَهُم punish them yuʿadhibahum
punish them
بِهَا with it bihā
with it
فِى in
in
ٱلدُّنْيَا the world l-dun'yā
the world
وَتَزْهَقَ and will depart watazhaqa
and will depart
أَنفُسُهُمْ their souls anfusuhum
their souls
وَهُمْ while they wahum
while they
كَـٰفِرُونَ (are) disbelievers kāfirūna
(are) disbelievers
٨٥ (85)
(85)
Et que ni leurs biens ni leurs enfants ne t’émerveillent! Allah ne veut par-là, que les châtier ici-bas, et qu’ils rendent péniblement l’âme en mécréants.
9:86
وَإِذَآ And when wa-idhā
And when
أُنزِلَتْ was revealed unzilat
was revealed
سُورَةٌ a Surah sūratun
a Surah
أَنْ that an
that
ءَامِنُوا۟ believe āminū
believe
بِٱللَّهِ in Allah bil-lahi
in Allah
وَجَـٰهِدُوا۟ and strive wajāhidū
and strive
مَعَ with maʿa
with
رَسُولِهِ His Messenger rasūlihi
His Messenger
ٱسْتَـْٔذَنَكَ ask your permission is'tadhanaka
ask your permission
أُو۟لُوا۟ (the) men ulū
(the) men
ٱلطَّوْلِ (of) wealth l-ṭawli

مِنْهُمْ among them min'hum

وَقَالُوا۟ and said waqālū

نَكُن (to) be nakun

مَّعَ with maʿa

ٱلْقَـٰعِدِينَ those who sit l-qāʿidīna
those who sit

Et lorsqu’une sourate est révélée : "Croyez en Allah et luttez en compagnie de Son Messager !" Les gens qui ont tous les moyens (de combattre) parmi eux te demandent de les dispenser (du combat), et disent : "Laisse-nous avec ceux qui restent !"
9:87
رَضُوا۟ They (were) satisfied raḍū
They (were) satisfied
بِأَن to bi-an
to
يَكُونُوا۟ be yakūnū
be
مَعَ with maʿa
with
ٱلْخَوَالِفِ those who stay behind l-khawālifi
those who stay behind
وَطُبِعَ and were sealed waṭubiʿa
and were sealed
عَلَىٰ [on] ʿalā
[on]
قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts qulūbihim
their hearts
فَهُمْ so they fahum
so they
لَا (do) not
(do) not
يَفْقَهُونَ understand yafqahūna
understand
٨٧ (87)
(87)
Il leur plaît, (après le départ des combattants) de demeurer avec celles qui sont restées à l’arrière. Leurs cœurs ont été scellés et ils ne comprennent rien .
9:88
لَـٰكِنِ But lākini
But
ٱلرَّسُولُ the Messenger l-rasūlu
the Messenger
وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who wa-alladhīna
and those who
ءَامَنُوا۟ believed āmanū
believed
مَعَهُۥ with him maʿahu
with him
جَـٰهَدُوا۟ strove jāhadū
strove
بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ with their wealth bi-amwālihim
with their wealth
وَأَنفُسِهِمْ ۚ and their lives wa-anfusihim
and their lives
وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ And those wa-ulāika
And those
لَهُمُ for them lahumu
for them
ٱلْخَيْرَٰتُ ۖ (are) the good things l-khayrātu
(are) the good things
وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ and those wa-ulāika
and those
هُمُ they humu
they
ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ (are) the successful ones l-muf'liḥūna
(are) the successful ones
٨٨ (88)
(88)
Mais le Messager et ceux qui ont cru avec lui ont lutté avec leurs biens et leurs personnes. Ceux-là auront les bonnes choses et ce sont eux qui réussiront.
9:89
أَعَدَّ Allah has prepared aʿadda
Allah has prepared
ٱللَّهُ Allah has prepared l-lahu
Allah has prepared
لَهُمْ for them lahum
for them
جَنَّـٰتٍۢ Gardens jannātin
Gardens
تَجْرِى flows tajrī
flows
مِن from min
from
تَحْتِهَا underneath it taḥtihā
underneath it
ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ the rivers l-anhāru
the rivers
خَـٰلِدِينَ (will) abide forever khālidīna
(will) abide forever
فِيهَا ۚ in it fīhā
in it
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika
That
ٱلْفَوْزُ (is) the success l-fawzu
(is) the success
ٱلْعَظِيمُ the great l-ʿaẓīmu
the great
٨٩ (89)
(89)
Allah a préparé pour eux des Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux, pour qu’ils y demeurent éternellement. Voilà l’énorme succès!
9:90
وَجَآءَ And came wajāa
And came
ٱلْمُعَذِّرُونَ the ones who make excuses l-muʿadhirūna
the ones who make excuses
مِنَ of mina
of
ٱلْأَعْرَابِ the bedouins l-aʿrābi
the bedouins
لِيُؤْذَنَ that permission be granted liyu'dhana
that permission be granted
لَهُمْ to them lahum
to them
وَقَعَدَ and sat waqaʿada
and sat
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
كَذَبُوا۟ lied kadhabū
lied
ٱللَّهَ (to) Allah l-laha
(to) Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ ۚ and His Messenger warasūlahu
and His Messenger
سَيُصِيبُ Will strike sayuṣību
Will strike
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved kafarū
disbelieved
مِنْهُمْ among them min'hum
among them
عَذَابٌ a punishment ʿadhābun
a punishment
أَلِيمٌۭ painful alīmun
painful
٩٠ (90)
(90)
Et parmi les Bédouins, certains sont venus demander d’être dispensés (du combat). Et ceux qui ont menti à Allah et à Son messager sont restés chez eux. Un châtiment douloureux affligera les mécréants d’entre eux.
9:91
لَّيْسَ Not laysa

ٱلضُّعَفَآءِ the weak l-ḍuʿafāi
the weak

ٱلْمَرْضَىٰ the sick l-marḍā

ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna

لَا not

يَجِدُونَ they find yajidūna

يُنفِقُونَ they (can) spend yunfiqūna
they (can) spend
حَرَجٌ any blame ḥarajun
any blame
إِذَا if idhā
if
نَصَحُوا۟ they (are) sincere naṣaḥū
they (are) sincere
لِلَّهِ to Allah lillahi
to Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ ۚ and His Messenger warasūlihi
and His Messenger
مَا Not
Not
عَلَى (is) on ʿalā
(is) on
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ the good-doers l-muḥ'sinīna
the good-doers
مِن any min
any
سَبِيلٍۢ ۚ way (for blame) sabīlin
way (for blame)
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
غَفُورٌۭ (is) Oft-Forgiving ghafūrun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌۭ Most Merciful raḥīmun
Most Merciful
٩١ (91)
(91)
Nul grief sur les faibles, ni sur les malades, ni sur ceux qui ne trouvent pas de quoi dépenser (pour la cause d’Allah), s’ils sont sincères envers Allah et Son Messager. Pas de reproche [aussi] contre les bienfaiteurs. Et Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.
9:92

وَّأَعْيُنُهُمْ with their eyes wa-aʿyunuhum
with their eyes
تَفِيضُ flowing tafīḍu
flowing
مِنَ [of] mina
[of]
ٱلدَّمْعِ (with) the tears l-damʿi
(with) the tears
حَزَنًا (of) sorrow ḥazanan
(of) sorrow
أَلَّا that not allā
that not
يَجِدُوا۟ they find yajidū
they find
مَا what
what
يُنفِقُونَ they (could) spend yunfiqūna
they (could) spend
٩٢ (92)
(92)
(Pas de reproche) non plus à ceux qui vinrent te trouver pour que tu leur fournisses une monture et à qui tu dis : "Je ne trouve pas de monture pour vous." Ils retournèrent, les yeux débordant de larmes, tristes de ne pas trouver de quoi dépenser.
9:93
۞ إِنَّمَا Only innamā
Only
ٱلسَّبِيلُ the way (blame) l-sabīlu
the way (blame)
عَلَى (is) on ʿalā
(is) on
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
يَسْتَـْٔذِنُونَكَ ask your permission yastadhinūnaka
ask your permission
وَهُمْ while they wahum
while they
أَغْنِيَآءُ ۚ (are) rich aghniyāu
(are) rich
رَضُوا۟ They (are) satisfied raḍū
They (are) satisfied
بِأَن to bi-an
to
يَكُونُوا۟ be yakūnū
be
مَعَ with maʿa
with
ٱلْخَوَالِفِ those who stay behind l-khawālifi
those who stay behind
وَطَبَعَ and Allah sealed waṭabaʿa
and Allah sealed
ٱللَّهُ and Allah sealed l-lahu
and Allah sealed
عَلَىٰ [on] ʿalā
[on]
قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts qulūbihim
their hearts
فَهُمْ so they fahum
so they
لَا (do) not
(do) not
يَعْلَمُونَ know yaʿlamūna
know
٩٣ (93)
(93)
Il n’y a de voie (de reproche à), vraiment, que contre ceux qui demandent d’être dispensés, alors qu’ils sont riches. Il leur plaît de demeurer avec celles qui sont restées à l’arrière. Et Allah a scellé leurs cœurs et ils ne savent pas.
9:94
يَعْتَذِرُونَ They will make excuses yaʿtadhirūna
They will make excuses
إِلَيْكُمْ to you ilaykum
to you
إِذَا when idhā
when
رَجَعْتُمْ you (have) returned rajaʿtum
you (have) returned
إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ to them ilayhim
to them
قُل Say qul

لَّا (Do) not
(Do) not
تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ make excuse taʿtadhirū
make excuse
لَن never lan
never
نُّؤْمِنَ we will believe nu'mina
we will believe
لَكُمْ you lakum
you
قَدْ Verily qad
Verily
نَبَّأَنَا Allah (has) informed us nabba-anā
Allah (has) informed us
ٱللَّهُ Allah (has) informed us l-lahu
Allah (has) informed us
مِنْ of min
of
أَخْبَارِكُمْ ۚ your news akhbārikum
your news
وَسَيَرَى and Allah will see wasayarā
and Allah will see
ٱللَّهُ and Allah will see l-lahu
and Allah will see
عَمَلَكُمْ your deeds ʿamalakum
your deeds
وَرَسُولُهُۥ and His Messenger warasūluhu
and His Messenger
ثُمَّ Then thumma
Then
تُرَدُّونَ you will be brought back turaddūna
you will be brought back
إِلَىٰ to ilā
to
عَـٰلِمِ (the) Knower ʿālimi
(the) Knower
ٱلْغَيْبِ (of) the unseen l-ghaybi
(of) the unseen
وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ and the seen wal-shahādati
and the seen
فَيُنَبِّئُكُم then He will inform you fayunabbi-ukum
then He will inform you
بِمَا of what bimā
of what
كُنتُمْ you used (to) kuntum
you used (to)
تَعْمَلُونَ do taʿmalūna
do
٩٤ (94)
(94)
Ils vous présentent des excuses quand vous revenez à eux. Dis : "Ne présentez pas d’excuses: nous ne vous croyons pas. Allah nous a déjà informés de vos nouvelles. Et Allah verra votre œuvre, ainsi que Son Messager. Puis vous serez ramenés vers Celui qui connaît bien l’invisible et le visible, et alors, Il vous informera de ce que vous faisiez.
9:95
سَيَحْلِفُونَ They will swear sayaḥlifūna
They will swear
بِٱللَّهِ by Allah bil-lahi
by Allah
لَكُمْ to you lakum
to you
إِذَا when idhā
when
ٱنقَلَبْتُمْ you returned inqalabtum
you returned
إِلَيْهِمْ to them ilayhim
to them
لِتُعْرِضُوا۟ that you may turn away lituʿ'riḍū
that you may turn away
عَنْهُمْ ۖ from them ʿanhum
from them
فَأَعْرِضُوا۟ So turn away fa-aʿriḍū
So turn away
عَنْهُمْ ۖ from them ʿanhum
from them
إِنَّهُمْ indeed, they innahum
indeed, they
رِجْسٌۭ ۖ (are) impure rij'sun
(are) impure
وَمَأْوَىٰهُمْ and their abode wamawāhum
and their abode
جَهَنَّمُ (is) Hell jahannamu
(is) Hell
جَزَآءًۢ a recompense jazāan
a recompense
بِمَا for what bimā
for what
كَانُوا۟ they used (to) kānū
they used (to)
يَكْسِبُونَ earn yaksibūna
earn
٩٥ (95)
(95)
Ils vous feront des serments par Allah, quand vous êtes de retour vers eux, afin que vous passiez (sur leur tort). Détournez-vous d’eux ! Ils sont une souillure et leur refuge est l’Enfer, en rétribution de ce qu’ils acquéraient.
9:96
يَحْلِفُونَ They swear yaḥlifūna

لِتَرْضَوْا۟ that you may be pleased litarḍaw
that you may be pleased
عَنْهُمْ ۖ with them ʿanhum

فَإِن But if fa-in

عَنْهُمْ with them ʿanhum
with them
فَإِنَّ then indeed fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
لَا (is) not pleased
(is) not pleased
يَرْضَىٰ (is) not pleased yarḍā
(is) not pleased
عَنِ with ʿani
with
ٱلْقَوْمِ the people l-qawmi
the people
ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ (who are) defiantly disobedient l-fāsiqīna
(who are) defiantly disobedient
٩٦ (96)
(96)
Ils vous font des serments pour se faire agréer de vous, même si vous les agréez, Allah n’agrée pas les gens pervers.
9:97
ٱلْأَعْرَابُ The bedouins al-aʿrābu
The bedouins
أَشَدُّ (are) stronger ashaddu
(are) stronger
كُفْرًۭا (in) disbelief kuf'ran
(in) disbelief
وَنِفَاقًۭا and hypocrisy wanifāqan
and hypocrisy
وَأَجْدَرُ and more likely wa-ajdaru
and more likely
أَلَّا that not allā
that not
يَعْلَمُوا۟ they know yaʿlamū
they know
حُدُودَ (the) limits ḥudūda
(the) limits
مَآ (of) what
(of) what
أَنزَلَ Allah (has) revealed anzala
Allah (has) revealed
ٱللَّهُ Allah (has) revealed l-lahu
Allah (has) revealed
عَلَىٰ to ʿalā
to
رَسُولِهِۦ ۗ His Messenger rasūlihi
His Messenger
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٌۭ All-Wise ḥakīmun
All-Wise
٩٧ (97)
(97)
Les Bédouins sont plus endurcis dans leur impiété et dans leur hypocrisie, et les plus enclins à méconnaître les préceptes qu’Allah a révélés à Son Messager. Et Allah est Omniscient et Sage.
9:98
وَمِنَ And among wamina
And among
ٱلْأَعْرَابِ the bedouins l-aʿrābi
the bedouins
مَن (is he) who man
(is he) who
يَتَّخِذُ takes yattakhidhu
takes
مَا what
what
يُنفِقُ he spends yunfiqu
he spends
مَغْرَمًۭا (as) a loss maghraman
(as) a loss
وَيَتَرَبَّصُ and he awaits wayatarabbaṣu
and he awaits
بِكُمُ for you bikumu
for you
ٱلدَّوَآئِرَ ۚ the turns (of misfortune) l-dawāira
the turns (of misfortune)
عَلَيْهِمْ Upon them ʿalayhim
Upon them
دَآئِرَةُ (will be) the turn dāiratu
(will be) the turn
ٱلسَّوْءِ ۗ (of) the evil l-sawi
(of) the evil
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
سَمِيعٌ (is) All-Hearer samīʿun
(is) All-Hearer
عَلِيمٌۭ All-Knower ʿalīmun
All-Knower
٩٨ (98)
(98)
Parmi les Bédouins, certains prennent leur dépense (en aumône ou à la guerre) comme une charge onéreuse, et attendent pour vous un revers de fortune. Que le malheur retombe sur eux ! Et Allah est Audient et Omniscient.
9:99
وَمِنَ But among wamina
But among
ٱلْأَعْرَابِ the bedouins l-aʿrābi
the bedouins
مَن (is he) who man
(is he) who
يُؤْمِنُ believes yu'minu
believes
بِٱللَّهِ in Allah bil-lahi
in Allah
وَٱلْيَوْمِ and the Day wal-yawmi
and the Day
ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ the Last l-ākhiri
the Last
وَيَتَّخِذُ and takes wayattakhidhu
and takes
مَا what
what
يُنفِقُ he spends yunfiqu
he spends
قُرُبَـٰتٍ (as) means of nearness qurubātin
(as) means of nearness
عِندَ with ʿinda
with
ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi
Allah
وَصَلَوَٰتِ and blessings waṣalawāti
and blessings
ٱلرَّسُولِ ۚ (of) the Messenger l-rasūli
(of) the Messenger
أَلَآ Behold alā
Behold
إِنَّهَا Indeed, it innahā
Indeed, it
قُرْبَةٌۭ (is) a means of nearness qur'batun
(is) a means of nearness
لَّهُمْ ۚ for them lahum
for them
سَيُدْخِلُهُمُ Allah will admit them sayud'khiluhumu
Allah will admit them
ٱللَّهُ Allah will admit them l-lahu
Allah will admit them
فِى to
to
رَحْمَتِهِۦٓ ۗ His Mercy raḥmatihi
His Mercy
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
غَفُورٌۭ (is) Oft-Forgiving ghafūrun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌۭ Most Merciful raḥīmun
Most Merciful
٩٩ (99)
(99)
Et (tel autre,) parmi les Bédouins, croit en Allah et au Jour Dernier et prend ce qu’il dépense comme moyen de se rapprocher d’Allah et afin de bénéficier des invocations du Messager. C’est vraiment pour eux (un moyen) de se rapprocher (d’Allah) et Allah les admettra en Sa miséricorde. Car Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.
9:100
وَٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ And the forerunners wal-sābiqūna
And the forerunners
ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ the first l-awalūna
the first
مِنَ among mina
among
ٱلْمُهَـٰجِرِينَ the emigrants l-muhājirīna
the emigrants
وَٱلْأَنصَارِ and the helpers wal-anṣāri
and the helpers
وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who wa-alladhīna
and those who
ٱتَّبَعُوهُم followed them ittabaʿūhum
followed them
بِإِحْسَـٰنٍۢ in righteousness bi-iḥ'sānin
in righteousness
رَّضِىَ Allah is pleased raḍiya
Allah is pleased
ٱللَّهُ Allah is pleased l-lahu
Allah is pleased
عَنْهُمْ with them ʿanhum
with them
وَرَضُوا۟ and they are pleased waraḍū
and they are pleased
عَنْهُ with Him ʿanhu
with Him
وَأَعَدَّ And He has prepared wa-aʿadda
And He has prepared
لَهُمْ for them lahum
for them
جَنَّـٰتٍۢ Gardens jannātin
Gardens
تَجْرِى flows tajrī
flows
تَحْتَهَا underneath it taḥtahā
underneath it
ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ the rivers l-anhāru
the rivers
خَـٰلِدِينَ will abide khālidīna
will abide
فِيهَآ in it fīhā
in it
أَبَدًۭا ۚ forever abadan
forever
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika
That
ٱلْفَوْزُ (is) the success l-fawzu
(is) the success
ٱلْعَظِيمُ the great l-ʿaẓīmu
the great

(100)
Les tout premiers [croyants] parmi les Emigrés (Al Muhâjirîn) et les Auxiliaires (Al Ansâr) et ceux qui les ont suivis en toute vertu, Allah les agrée, et ils L’agréent. Il a préparé pour eux des Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux, et ils y demeureront éternellement. Voilà l’énorme succès !
9:101
وَمِمَّنْ And among those wamimman
And among those
حَوْلَكُم around you ḥawlakum
around you
مِّنَ of mina
of
ٱلْأَعْرَابِ the bedouins l-aʿrābi
the bedouins
مُنَـٰفِقُونَ ۖ (are) hypocrites munāfiqūna
(are) hypocrites
وَمِنْ and (also) from wamin
and (also) from
أَهْلِ people ahli
people
ٱلْمَدِينَةِ ۖ (of) the Madinah l-madīnati
(of) the Madinah
مَرَدُوا۟ They persist maradū
They persist
عَلَى in ʿalā
in
ٱلنِّفَاقِ the hypocrisy l-nifāqi
the hypocrisy
لَا not
not
تَعْلَمُهُمْ ۖ you know them taʿlamuhum
you know them
نَحْنُ We naḥnu
We
نَعْلَمُهُمْ ۚ [We] know them naʿlamuhum
[We] know them
سَنُعَذِّبُهُم We will punish them sanuʿadhibuhum
We will punish them
مَّرَّتَيْنِ twice marratayni
twice
ثُمَّ then thumma
then
يُرَدُّونَ they will be returned yuraddūna
they will be returned
إِلَىٰ to ilā
to
عَذَابٍ a punishment ʿadhābin
a punishment
عَظِيمٍۢ great ʿaẓīmin
great
١٠١ (101)
(101)
Et parmi les Bédouins qui vous entourent, il y a des hypocrites, tout comme une partie des habitants de Médine. Ils s’obstinent dans l’hypocrisie. Tu ne les connais pas mais Nous les connaissons. Nous les châtierons deux fois puis ils seront ramenés vers un énorme châtiment.
9:102
وَءَاخَرُونَ And others waākharūna
And others
ٱعْتَرَفُوا۟ (who have) acknowledged iʿ'tarafū
(who have) acknowledged
بِذُنُوبِهِمْ their sins bidhunūbihim
their sins
خَلَطُوا۟ They had mixed khalaṭū
They had mixed
عَمَلًۭا a deed ʿamalan
a deed
صَـٰلِحًۭا righteous ṣāliḥan
righteous
وَءَاخَرَ (with) other waākhara
(with) other
سَيِّئًا (that was) evil sayyi-an
(that was) evil
عَسَى Perhaps ʿasā
Perhaps
ٱللَّهُ Allah l-lahu
Allah
أَن [that] an
[that]
يَتُوبَ will turn (in mercy) yatūba
will turn (in mercy)
عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ to them ʿalayhim
to them
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
غَفُورٌۭ (is) Oft-Forgiving ghafūrun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌ Most Merciful raḥīmun
Most Merciful
١٠٢ (102)
(102)
D’autres ont reconnu leurs péchés, ils ont mêlé de bonnes actions à d’autres mauvaises. Il se peut qu’Allah accueille leur repentir. Car Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.
9:103
خُذْ Take khudh

مِنْ from min

أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ their wealth amwālihim
their wealth
صَدَقَةًۭ a charity ṣadaqatan
a charity
تُطَهِّرُهُمْ purifying them tuṭahhiruhum
purifying them
وَتُزَكِّيهِم and cause them increase watuzakkīhim
and cause them increase
بِهَا by it bihā
by it
وَصَلِّ and bless waṣalli
and bless
عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ [upon] them ʿalayhim
[upon] them
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
صَلَوٰتَكَ your blessings ṣalataka
your blessings
سَكَنٌۭ (are a) reassurance sakanun
(are a) reassurance
لَّهُمْ ۗ for them lahum
for them
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
سَمِيعٌ (is) All-Hearer samīʿun

عَلِيمٌ All-Knower ʿalīmun
All-Knower
١٠٣ (103)
(103)
Prélève de leurs biens une aumône (As-Sadaqâh) par laquelle tu les purifies et les bénis, et prie pour eux. Ta prière est une quiétude pour eux. Et Allah est Audient et Omniscient.
9:104
أَلَمْ Do not alam
Do not
يَعْلَمُوٓا۟ they know yaʿlamū
they know
أَنَّ that anna
that
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
هُوَ (is) He huwa
(is) He
يَقْبَلُ (Who) accepts yaqbalu
(Who) accepts
ٱلتَّوْبَةَ the repentance l-tawbata
the repentance
عَنْ from ʿan
from
عِبَادِهِۦ His slaves ʿibādihi
His slaves
وَيَأْخُذُ and takes wayakhudhu
and takes
ٱلصَّدَقَـٰتِ the charities l-ṣadaqāti
the charities
وَأَنَّ and that wa-anna
and that
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
هُوَ He huwa
He
ٱلتَّوَّابُ (is) the Acceptor of repentance l-tawābu
(is) the Acceptor of repentance
ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful l-raḥīmu
the Most Merciful
١٠٤ (104)
(104)
Ne savent-ils pas que c’est Allah qui accueille le repentir de Ses serviteurs, et qui reçoit les aumône (As-Sadaqâh) , et qu’Allah est L’Accueillant au repentir et le Miséricordieux.
9:105
وَقُلِ And say waquli
And say
ٱعْمَلُوا۟ Do iʿ'malū
Do
فَسَيَرَى then Allah will see fasayarā
then Allah will see
ٱللَّهُ then Allah will see l-lahu
then Allah will see
عَمَلَكُمْ your deed ʿamalakum
your deed
وَرَسُولُهُۥ and His Messenger warasūluhu
and His Messenger
وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۖ and the believers wal-mu'minūna
and the believers
وَسَتُرَدُّونَ And you will be brought back wasaturaddūna
And you will be brought back
إِلَىٰ to ilā
to
عَـٰلِمِ (the) Knower ʿālimi
(the) Knower
ٱلْغَيْبِ (of) the unseen l-ghaybi
(of) the unseen
وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ and the seen wal-shahādati
and the seen
فَيُنَبِّئُكُم then He will inform you fayunabbi-ukum
then He will inform you
بِمَا of what bimā
of what
كُنتُمْ you used (to) kuntum
you used (to)
تَعْمَلُونَ do taʿmalūna
do
١٠٥ (105)
(105)
Et dis : “Œuvrez, car Allah va voir votre œuvre, de même que Son Messager et les croyants, et vous serez ramenés vers Celui qui connaît bien l’invisible et le visible. Alors, Il vous informera de ce que vous faisiez.”
9:106
وَءَاخَرُونَ And others waākharūna
And others
مُرْجَوْنَ deferred mur'jawna
deferred
لِأَمْرِ for the Command of Allah li-amri
for the Command of Allah
ٱللَّهِ for the Command of Allah l-lahi
for the Command of Allah
إِمَّا whether immā
whether
يُعَذِّبُهُمْ He will punish them yuʿadhibuhum
He will punish them
وَإِمَّا or wa-immā
or
يَتُوبُ He will turn (in mercy) yatūbu
He will turn (in mercy)
عَلَيْهِمْ ۗ to them ʿalayhim
to them
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٌۭ All-Wise ḥakīmun
All-Wise
١٠٦ (106)
(106)
Et d’autres sont laissés dans l’attente de la décision d’Allah, soit qu’Il les punisse, soit qu’Il leur pardonne. Et Allah est Omniscient et Sage.
9:107
وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who wa-alladhīna
And those who
ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ take ittakhadhū
take
مَسْجِدًۭا a masjid masjidan
a masjid
ضِرَارًۭا (for causing) harm ḍirāran
(for causing) harm
وَكُفْرًۭا and (for) disbelief wakuf'ran
and (for) disbelief
وَتَفْرِيقًۢا and (for) division watafrīqan
and (for) division
بَيْنَ among bayna
among
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers l-mu'minīna
the believers
وَإِرْصَادًۭا and (as) a station wa-ir'ṣādan
and (as) a station
لِّمَنْ for whoever liman
for whoever
حَارَبَ warred ḥāraba
warred
ٱللَّهَ (against) Allah l-laha
(against) Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ and His Messenger warasūlahu
and His Messenger
مِن before min
before
قَبْلُ ۚ before qablu
before
وَلَيَحْلِفُنَّ And surely they will swear walayaḥlifunna
And surely they will swear
إِنْ Not in
Not
أَرَدْنَآ we wish aradnā
we wish
إِلَّا except illā
except
ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۖ the good l-ḥus'nā
the good
وَٱللَّهُ But Allah wal-lahu
But Allah
يَشْهَدُ bears witness yashhadu
bears witness
إِنَّهُمْ indeed, they innahum
indeed, they
لَكَـٰذِبُونَ (are) surely liars lakādhibūna
(are) surely liars
١٠٧ (107)
(107)
Ceux qui ont édifié une mosquée pour en faire [un mobile] de rivalité, d’impiété et de division entre les croyants, qui la préparent pour celui qui auparavant avait combattu Allah et Son Messager et jurent en disant : "Nous ne voulions que le bien !" [Ceux-là], Allah atteste qu’ils mentent .
9:108
لَا (Do) not

أَبَدًۭا ۚ ever abadan

لَّمَسْجِدٌ A masjid lamasjidun
A masjid
أُسِّسَ founded ussisa
founded
عَلَى on ʿalā

ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ the righteousness l-taqwā
the righteousness
مِنْ from min
from
أَوَّلِ (the) first awwali
(the) first
يَوْمٍ day yawmin
day
أَحَقُّ (is) more worthy aḥaqqu
(is) more worthy
أَن that an
that
تَقُومَ you stand taqūma
you stand
فِيهِ ۚ in it fīhi
in it
فِيهِ Within it fīhi
Within it
رِجَالٌۭ (are) men rijālun
(are) men
يُحِبُّونَ who love yuḥibbūna
who love
أَن to an
to
يَتَطَهَّرُوا۟ ۚ purify themselves yataṭahharū
purify themselves
وَٱللَّهُ and Allah wal-lahu
and Allah
يُحِبُّ loves yuḥibbu
loves
ٱلْمُطَّهِّرِينَ the ones who purify themselves l-muṭahirīna
the ones who purify themselves
١٠٨ (108)
(108)
Ne te tient jamais dans (cette mosquée). Car une Mosquée fondée dès le premier jour, sur la piété, est plus digne que tu t’y tiennes debout [pour y prier]. On y trouve des gens qui aiment bien se purifier, et Allah aime ceux qui se purifient .
9:109
أَفَمَنْ Then is (one) who afaman

أَسَّسَ founded assasa

بُنْيَـٰنَهُۥ his building bun'yānahu

عَلَىٰ on ʿalā

تَقْوَىٰ righteousness taqwā
righteousness
مِنَ from mina

ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi

وَرِضْوَٰنٍ and (His) pleasure wariḍ'wānin
and (His) pleasure
خَيْرٌ better khayrun
better
أَم or am
or
مَّنْ (one) who man
(one) who
أَسَّسَ founded assasa
founded
بُنْيَـٰنَهُۥ his building bun'yānahu
his building
عَلَىٰ on ʿalā
on
شَفَا edge shafā
edge
جُرُفٍ (of) a cliff jurufin
(of) a cliff
هَارٍۢ (about to) collapse hārin
(about to) collapse
فَٱنْهَارَ so it collapsed fa-in'hāra
so it collapsed
بِهِۦ with him bihi
with him
فِى in
in
نَارِ (the) Fire nāri
(the) Fire
جَهَنَّمَ ۗ (of) Hell jahannama
(of) Hell
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
لَا (does) not
(does) not
يَهْدِى guide yahdī
guide
ٱلْقَوْمَ the wrongdoing people l-qawma
the wrongdoing people
ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoing people l-ẓālimīna
the wrongdoing people
١٠٩ (109)
(109)
Lequel est plus méritant ? Est-ce celui qui a fondé son édifice sur la piété et l’agrément d’Allah, ou bien celui qui a placé les assises de sa construction sur le bord d’une falaise croulante et qui croula avec lui dans le feu de l’Enfer ? Et Allah ne guide pas les gens injustes.
9:110
لَا Not

يَزَالُ (will) cease yazālu

بُنْيَـٰنُهُمُ their building bun'yānuhumu
their building
ٱلَّذِى which alladhī
which
بَنَوْا۟ they built banaw
they built
رِيبَةًۭ a (cause of) doubt rībatan
a (cause of) doubt
فِى in
in
قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts qulūbihim
their hearts
إِلَّآ except illā
except
أَن that an
that
تَقَطَّعَ (are) cut into pieces taqaṭṭaʿa
(are) cut into pieces
قُلُوبُهُمْ ۗ their hearts qulūbuhum
their hearts
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٌ All-Wise ḥakīmun
All-Wise
١١٠ (110)
(110)
La construction qu’ils ont édifiée sera toujours une source de doute dans leurs cœurs, jusqu’à ce que leurs cœurs se déchirent. Et Allah est Omniscient et Sage.
9:111
۞ إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
ٱشْتَرَىٰ (has) purchased ish'tarā
(has) purchased
مِنَ from mina
from
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ the believers l-mu'minīna
the believers
أَنفُسَهُمْ their lives anfusahum
their lives
وَأَمْوَٰلَهُم and their wealth wa-amwālahum
and their wealth
بِأَنَّ because bi-anna
because
لَهُمُ for them lahumu
for them
ٱلْجَنَّةَ ۚ (is) Paradise l-janata
(is) Paradise
يُقَـٰتِلُونَ They fight yuqātilūna
They fight
فِى in
in
سَبِيلِ (the) way sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
فَيَقْتُلُونَ they slay fayaqtulūna
they slay
وَيُقْتَلُونَ ۖ and they are slain wayuq'talūna
and they are slain
وَعْدًا A promise waʿdan
A promise
عَلَيْهِ upon Him ʿalayhi
upon Him
حَقًّۭا true ḥaqqan
true
فِى in
in
ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ the Taurat l-tawrāti
the Taurat
وَٱلْإِنجِيلِ and the Injeel wal-injīli
and the Injeel
وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ۚ and the Quran wal-qur'āni
and the Quran
وَمَنْ And who waman
And who
أَوْفَىٰ (is) more faithful awfā
(is) more faithful
بِعَهْدِهِۦ to his promise biʿahdihi
to his promise
مِنَ than mina
than
ٱللَّهِ ۚ Allah l-lahi
Allah
فَٱسْتَبْشِرُوا۟ So rejoice fa-is'tabshirū
So rejoice
بِبَيْعِكُمُ in your transaction bibayʿikumu
in your transaction
ٱلَّذِى which alladhī
which
بَايَعْتُم you have contracted bāyaʿtum
you have contracted
بِهِۦ ۚ [with it] bihi
[with it]
وَذَٰلِكَ And that wadhālika
And that
هُوَ it huwa
it
ٱلْفَوْزُ (is) the success l-fawzu
(is) the success
ٱلْعَظِيمُ the great l-ʿaẓīmu
the great
١١١ (111)
(111)
Certes, Allah a acheté des croyants, leurs personnes et leurs biens en échange du Paradis. Ils combattent dans le sentier d’Allah: ils tuent, et ils se font tuer. C’est une promesse authentique qu’Il a prise sur Lui-même dans la Thora, l’Évangile et le Coran. Et qui est plus fidèle qu’Allah à son engagement ? Réjouissez-vous donc de l’échange que vous avez fait : Et c’est là le très grand succès .
9:112
ٱلتَّـٰٓئِبُونَ Those who turn in repentance al-tāibūna
Those who turn in repentance
ٱلْعَـٰبِدُونَ those who worship l-ʿābidūna
those who worship
ٱلْحَـٰمِدُونَ those who praise l-ḥāmidūna
those who praise
ٱلسَّـٰٓئِحُونَ those who go out l-sāiḥūna
those who go out
ٱلرَّٰكِعُونَ those who bow down l-rākiʿūna
those who bow down
ٱلسَّـٰجِدُونَ those who prostrate l-sājidūna
those who prostrate
ٱلْـَٔامِرُونَ those who enjoin l-āmirūna
those who enjoin
بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ the right bil-maʿrūfi
the right
وَٱلنَّاهُونَ and those who forbid wal-nāhūna
and those who forbid
عَنِ [on] ʿani
[on]
ٱلْمُنكَرِ the wrong l-munkari
the wrong
وَٱلْحَـٰفِظُونَ and those who observe wal-ḥāfiẓūna
and those who observe
لِحُدُودِ (the) limits liḥudūdi
(the) limits
ٱللَّهِ ۗ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
وَبَشِّرِ And give glad tidings wabashiri
And give glad tidings
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ (to) the believers l-mu'minīna
(to) the believers
١١٢ (112)
(112)
Ils sont ceux qui se repentent, qui adorent, qui louent, qui parcourent la terre (ou qui jeûnent), qui s’inclinent, qui se prosternent, qui commandent le convenable et interdisent le blâmable et qui observent les lois d’Allah... et fais bonne annonce aux croyants .
9:113
مَا Not

كَانَ (it) is kāna

لِلنَّبِىِّ for the Prophet lilnnabiyyi
for the Prophet
وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who wa-alladhīna
and those who
ءَامَنُوٓا۟ believe āmanū
believe
أَن that an
that
يَسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ they ask forgiveness yastaghfirū
they ask forgiveness
لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ for the polytheists lil'mush'rikīna
for the polytheists
وَلَوْ even though walaw
even though
كَانُوٓا۟ they be kānū
they be
أُو۟لِى near of kin ulī
near of kin
قُرْبَىٰ near of kin qur'bā
near of kin
مِنۢ after min
after
بَعْدِ after baʿdi
after
مَا [what]
[what]
تَبَيَّنَ has become clear tabayyana
has become clear
لَهُمْ to them lahum
to them
أَنَّهُمْ that they annahum
that they
أَصْحَـٰبُ (are the) companions aṣḥābu
(are the) companions
ٱلْجَحِيمِ (of) the Hellfire l-jaḥīmi
(of) the Hellfire
١١٣ (113)
(113)
Il n’appartient pas au Prophète et aux croyants d’implorer le pardon en faveur des polythéistes, fussent-ils des proches alors qu’il leur est apparu clairement que ce sont des gens de l’Enfer.
9:114
وَمَا And not wamā
And not
كَانَ was kāna
was
ٱسْتِغْفَارُ (the) asking of forgiveness is'tigh'fāru
(the) asking of forgiveness
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ (by) Ibrahim ib'rāhīma
(by) Ibrahim
لِأَبِيهِ for his father li-abīhi
for his father
إِلَّا except illā
except
عَن because ʿan
because
مَّوْعِدَةٍۢ (of) a promise mawʿidatin
(of) a promise
وَعَدَهَآ he had promised it waʿadahā
he had promised it
إِيَّاهُ (to) him iyyāhu
(to) him
فَلَمَّا But when falammā
But when
تَبَيَّنَ it became clear tabayyana
it became clear
لَهُۥٓ to him lahu
to him
أَنَّهُۥ that he annahu
that he
عَدُوٌّۭ (was) an enemy ʿaduwwun
(was) an enemy
لِّلَّهِ to Allah lillahi
to Allah
تَبَرَّأَ he disassociated tabarra-a
he disassociated
مِنْهُ ۚ from him min'hu
from him
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ Ibrahim ib'rāhīma
Ibrahim
لَأَوَّٰهٌ (was) compassionate la-awwāhun
(was) compassionate
حَلِيمٌۭ forbearing ḥalīmun
forbearing
١١٤ (114)
(114)
Abraham ne demanda pardon en faveur de son père qu’à cause d’une promesse qu’il lui avait faite. Mais, dès qu’il lui apparut clairement qu’il était un ennemi d’Allah, il le désavoua. Abraham était certes plein de sollicitude et indulgent.
9:115
وَمَا And not wamā
And not
كَانَ is kāna

ٱللَّهُ (for) Allah l-lahu
(for) Allah
لِيُضِلَّ that He lets go astray liyuḍilla
that He lets go astray
قَوْمًۢا a people qawman
a people
بَعْدَ after baʿda
after
إِذْ [when] idh
[when]
هَدَىٰهُمْ He has guided them hadāhum
He has guided them
حَتَّىٰ until ḥattā
until
يُبَيِّنَ He makes clear yubayyina
He makes clear
لَهُم to them lahum
to them
مَّا what
what
يَتَّقُونَ ۚ they should fear yattaqūna
they should fear
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
بِكُلِّ (of) every bikulli
(of) every
شَىْءٍ thing shayin
thing
عَلِيمٌ (is) All-Knower ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knower
١١٥ (115)
(115)
Allah n’est point tel à égarer un peuple après qu’Il les a guidés, jusqu’à ce qu’Il leur ait montré clairement ce qu’ils doivent éviter. Certes, Allah est Omniscient.
9:116
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
لَهُۥ to Him (belongs) lahu
to Him (belongs)
مُلْكُ the dominion mul'ku
the dominion
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens l-samāwāti
(of) the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ and the earth wal-arḍi
and the earth
يُحْىِۦ He gives life yuḥ'yī
He gives life
وَيُمِيتُ ۚ and He causes death wayumītu
and He causes death
وَمَا And not wamā
And not
لَكُم for you lakum
for you
مِّن besides Allah min
besides Allah
دُونِ besides Allah dūni
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ besides Allah l-lahi
besides Allah
مِن any min
any
وَلِىٍّۢ protector waliyyin
protector
وَلَا and not walā
and not
نَصِيرٍۢ any helper naṣīrin
any helper
١١٦ (116)
(116)
À Allah appartient la royauté des cieux et de la Terre. Il donne la vie et Il donne la mort. Et il n’y a pour vous, en dehors d’Allah, ni allié ni protecteur (et secoureur).
9:117
لَّقَد Verily laqad
Verily
تَّابَ Allah turned (in mercy) tāba
Allah turned (in mercy)
ٱللَّهُ Allah turned (in mercy) l-lahu
Allah turned (in mercy)
عَلَى to ʿalā
to
ٱلنَّبِىِّ the Prophet l-nabiyi
the Prophet
وَٱلْمُهَـٰجِرِينَ and the emigrants wal-muhājirīna
and the emigrants
وَٱلْأَنصَارِ and the helpers wal-anṣāri
and the helpers
ٱلَّذِينَ [those] who alladhīna
[those] who
ٱتَّبَعُوهُ followed him ittabaʿūhu
followed him
فِى in
in
سَاعَةِ (the) hour sāʿati
(the) hour
ٱلْعُسْرَةِ (of) difficulty l-ʿus'rati
(of) difficulty
مِنۢ after min
after
بَعْدِ after baʿdi
after
مَا [what]
[what]
كَادَ had nearly kāda
had nearly
يَزِيغُ deviated yazīghu
deviated
قُلُوبُ (the) hearts qulūbu
(the) hearts
فَرِيقٍۢ (of) a party farīqin
(of) a party
مِّنْهُمْ of them min'hum
of them
ثُمَّ then thumma
then
تَابَ He turned (in mercy) tāba
He turned (in mercy)
عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ to them ʿalayhim
to them
إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He innahu
Indeed, He
بِهِمْ to them bihim
to them
رَءُوفٌۭ (is) Most Kind raūfun
(is) Most Kind
رَّحِيمٌۭ Most Merciful raḥīmun
Most Merciful
١١٧ (117)
(117)
Allah a accueilli le repentir du Prophète, celui des Émigrés (Al Muhâjirîn) et des Auxiliaires (Al Ansâr) qui l’ont suivi à un moment difficile, après que les cœurs d’un groupe d’entre eux étaient sur le point de dévier. Puis, Il accueillit leur repentir car Il est Compatissant et Miséricordieux à leur égard.
9:118
وَعَلَى And on waʿalā
And on
ٱلثَّلَـٰثَةِ the three l-thalāthati
the three
ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who alladhīna
(of) those who
خُلِّفُوا۟ were left behind khullifū
were left behind
حَتَّىٰٓ until ḥattā
until
إِذَا when idhā
when
ضَاقَتْ (was) straitened ḍāqat
(was) straitened
عَلَيْهِمُ for them ʿalayhimu
for them
ٱلْأَرْضُ the earth l-arḍu
the earth
بِمَا though bimā
though
رَحُبَتْ it was vast raḥubat
it was vast
وَضَاقَتْ And (was) straitened waḍāqat
And (was) straitened
عَلَيْهِمْ for them ʿalayhim
for them
أَنفُسُهُمْ their own souls anfusuhum
their own souls
وَظَنُّوٓا۟ and they were certain waẓannū
and they were certain
أَن that an
that
لَّا (there is) no
(there is) no
مَلْجَأَ refuge malja-a
refuge
مِنَ from mina
from
ٱللَّهِ Allah l-lahi
Allah
إِلَّآ except illā
except
إِلَيْهِ to Him ilayhi
to Him
ثُمَّ Then thumma
Then
تَابَ He turned (in mercy) tāba
He turned (in mercy)
عَلَيْهِمْ to them ʿalayhim
to them
لِيَتُوبُوٓا۟ ۚ that they may repent liyatūbū
that they may repent
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
هُوَ He huwa
He
ٱلتَّوَّابُ (is) the Acceptor of repentance l-tawābu
(is) the Acceptor of repentance
ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful l-raḥīmu
the Most Merciful
١١٨ (118)
(118)
Et [Il accueillit le repentir] des trois qui étaient restés à l’arrière si bien que, toute vaste qu’elle fût, la terre leur paraissait exiguë ; et ils se sentaient à l’étroit, dans leur propre personne et ils pensaient qu’il n’y avait d’autre refuge d’Allah qu’auprès de Lui. Puis, Il agréa leur repentir pour qu’ils reviennent [à Lui], car Allah est L’Accueillant au repentir, le Miséricordieux .
9:119
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe yāayyuhā
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe alladhīna
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوا۟ O you who believe āmanū
O you who believe
ٱتَّقُوا۟ Fear ittaqū
Fear
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
وَكُونُوا۟ and be wakūnū
and be
مَعَ with maʿa
with
ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ those who are truthful l-ṣādiqīna
those who are truthful
١١٩ (119)
(119)
Ô vous qui croyez ! Craignez Allah et soyez avec les véridiques !
9:120
مَا Not
Not
كَانَ it was kāna
it was
لِأَهْلِ (for) the people li-ahli
(for) the people
ٱلْمَدِينَةِ of the Madinah l-madīnati
of the Madinah
وَمَنْ and who waman
and who
حَوْلَهُم were around them ḥawlahum
were around them
مِّنَ of mina
of
ٱلْأَعْرَابِ the bedouins l-aʿrābi
the bedouins
أَن that an
that
يَتَخَلَّفُوا۟ they remain behind yatakhallafū
they remain behind
عَن after ʿan
after
رَّسُولِ the Messenger rasūli
the Messenger
ٱللَّهِ of Allah l-lahi
of Allah
وَلَا and not walā
and not
يَرْغَبُوا۟ they prefer yarghabū
they prefer
بِأَنفُسِهِمْ their lives bi-anfusihim
their lives
عَن to ʿan
to
نَّفْسِهِۦ ۚ his life nafsihi
his life
ذَٰلِكَ That is dhālika
That is
بِأَنَّهُمْ because [they] bi-annahum
because [they]
لَا (does) not
(does) not
يُصِيبُهُمْ afflict them yuṣībuhum
afflict them
ظَمَأٌۭ thirst ẓama-on
thirst
وَلَا and not walā
and not
نَصَبٌۭ fatigue naṣabun
fatigue
وَلَا and not walā
and not
مَخْمَصَةٌۭ hunger makhmaṣatun
hunger
فِى in
in
سَبِيلِ (the) way sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلَا and not walā
and not
يَطَـُٔونَ they step yaṭaūna
they step
مَوْطِئًۭا any step mawṭi-an
any step
يَغِيظُ that angers yaghīẓu
that angers
ٱلْكُفَّارَ the disbelievers l-kufāra
the disbelievers
وَلَا and not walā
and not
يَنَالُونَ they inflict yanālūna
they inflict
مِنْ on min
on
عَدُوٍّۢ an enemy ʿaduwwin
an enemy
نَّيْلًا an infliction naylan
an infliction
إِلَّا except illā
except
كُتِبَ is recorded kutiba
is recorded
لَهُم for them lahum
for them
بِهِۦ in it bihi
in it
عَمَلٌۭ (as) a deed ʿamalun
(as) a deed
صَـٰلِحٌ ۚ righteous ṣāliḥun
righteous
إِنَّ Indeed inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
لَا (does) not
(does) not
يُضِيعُ allow to be lost yuḍīʿu
allow to be lost
أَجْرَ the reward ajra
the reward
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ (of) the good-doers l-muḥ'sinīna
(of) the good-doers
١٢٠ (120)
(120)
Il n’appartient pas aux habitants de Médine, ni aux Bédouins qui sont autour d’eux, de traîner loin derrière le Messager d’Allah, ni de préférer leur propre vie à la sienne. Car ils n’éprouveront ni soif, ni fatigue, ni faim dans le sentier d’Allah, ils ne fouleront aucune terre en provoquant la colère des infidèles, et n’obtiendront aucun avantage sur un ennemi, sans qu’il ne leur soit écrit pour cela une bonne action. En vérité Allah ne laisse pas perdre la récompense des bienfaiteurs.
9:121
وَلَا And not walā
And not
يُنفِقُونَ they spend yunfiqūna
they spend
نَفَقَةًۭ any spending nafaqatan
any spending
صَغِيرَةًۭ small ṣaghīratan
small
وَلَا and not walā
and not
كَبِيرَةًۭ big kabīratan
big
وَلَا and not walā
and not
يَقْطَعُونَ they cross yaqṭaʿūna
they cross
وَادِيًا a valley wādiyan
a valley
إِلَّا but illā
but
كُتِبَ is recorded kutiba
is recorded
لَهُمْ for them lahum
for them
لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ that Allah may reward them liyajziyahumu
that Allah may reward them
ٱللَّهُ that Allah may reward them l-lahu
that Allah may reward them
أَحْسَنَ the best aḥsana
the best
مَا (of) what
(of) what
كَانُوا۟ they used (to) kānū
they used (to)
يَعْمَلُونَ do yaʿmalūna
do
١٢١ (121)
(121)
Ils ne supporteront aucune dépense, minime ou importante, ne traverseront aucune vallée, sans que (cela) ne soit inscrit à leur actif, en sorte qu’Allah les récompense pour le meilleur de ce qu’ils faisaient.
9:122
۞ وَمَا And not wamā
And not
كَانَ is kāna
is
ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ (for) the believers l-mu'minūna
(for) the believers
لِيَنفِرُوا۟ that they go forth liyanfirū
that they go forth
كَآفَّةًۭ ۚ all together kāffatan
all together
فَلَوْلَا So if not falawlā
So if not
نَفَرَ go forth nafara
go forth
مِن from min
from
كُلِّ every kulli
every
فِرْقَةٍۢ group fir'qatin
group
مِّنْهُمْ among them min'hum
among them
طَآئِفَةٌۭ a party ṭāifatun
a party
لِّيَتَفَقَّهُوا۟ that they may obtain understanding liyatafaqqahū
that they may obtain understanding
فِى in
in
ٱلدِّينِ the religion l-dīni
the religion
وَلِيُنذِرُوا۟ and that they may warn waliyundhirū
and that they may warn
قَوْمَهُمْ their people qawmahum
their people
إِذَا when idhā
when
رَجَعُوٓا۟ they return rajaʿū
they return
إِلَيْهِمْ to them ilayhim
to them
لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may laʿallahum
so that they may
يَحْذَرُونَ beware yaḥdharūna
beware
١٢٢ (122)
(122)
Les croyants n’ont pas à quitter tous leurs foyers. Pourquoi de chaque clan quelques hommes ne viendraient-il pas s’instruire dans la religion, pour pouvoir à leur retour, avertir leur peuple afin qu’ils soient sur leur garde .
9:123
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe yāayyuhā
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe alladhīna
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوا۟ O you who believe āmanū
O you who believe
قَـٰتِلُوا۟ Fight qātilū
Fight
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
يَلُونَكُم (are) close to you yalūnakum
(are) close to you
مِّنَ of mina
of
ٱلْكُفَّارِ the disbelievers l-kufāri
the disbelievers
وَلْيَجِدُوا۟ and let them find walyajidū
and let them find
فِيكُمْ in you fīkum
in you
غِلْظَةًۭ ۚ harshness ghil'ẓatan
harshness
وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ And know wa-iʿ'lamū
And know
أَنَّ that anna
that
ٱللَّهَ Allah l-laha
Allah
مَعَ (is) with maʿa
(is) with
ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ those who fear (Him) l-mutaqīna
those who fear (Him)
١٢٣ (123)
(123)
Ô vous qui croyez ! Combattez ceux des mécréants qui sont près de vous; et qu’ils trouvent de la dureté en vous. Et sachez qu’Allah est avec les pieux.
9:124
وَإِذَا And whenever wa-idhā
And whenever
مَآ And whenever
And whenever
أُنزِلَتْ is revealed unzilat
is revealed
سُورَةٌۭ a Surah sūratun
a Surah
فَمِنْهُم among them famin'hum
among them
مَّن (are some) who man
(are some) who
يَقُولُ say yaqūlu
say
أَيُّكُمْ Which of you ayyukum
Which of you
زَادَتْهُ (has) increased [it] zādathu
(has) increased [it]
هَـٰذِهِۦٓ (by) this hādhihi
(by) this
إِيمَـٰنًۭا ۚ (in) faith īmānan
(in) faith
فَأَمَّا As for fa-ammā
As for
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
ءَامَنُوا۟ believe āmanū
believe
فَزَادَتْهُمْ then it has increased them fazādathum
then it has increased them
إِيمَـٰنًۭا (in) faith īmānan
(in) faith
وَهُمْ and they wahum
and they
يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ rejoice yastabshirūna
rejoice
١٢٤ (124)
(124)
Et lorsqu’une sourate est révélée, il en est parmi eux qui dit: “Quel est celui d’entre vous dont elle fait croître la foi ? ” Quant aux croyants, elle fait certes croître leur foi, et ils s’en réjouissent.
9:125
وَأَمَّا But as for wa-ammā
But as for
ٱلَّذِينَ those alladhīna
those
فِى in
in
قُلُوبِهِم their hearts qulūbihim
their hearts
مَّرَضٌۭ (is) a disease maraḍun
(is) a disease
فَزَادَتْهُمْ (it) increases them fazādathum
(it) increases them
رِجْسًا (in) evil rij'san
(in) evil
إِلَىٰ to ilā
to
رِجْسِهِمْ their evil rij'sihim
their evil
وَمَاتُوا۟ And they die wamātū
And they die
وَهُمْ while they wahum
while they
كَـٰفِرُونَ (are) disbelievers kāfirūna
(are) disbelievers
١٢٥ (125)
(125)
Mais quant à ceux dont les cœurs sont malades, elle ajoute une souillure à leur souillure , et ils meurent en étant mécréants.
9:126
أَوَلَا Do not awalā
Do not
يَرَوْنَ they see yarawna
they see
أَنَّهُمْ that they annahum
that they
يُفْتَنُونَ are tried yuf'tanūna
are tried
فِى [in]
[in]
كُلِّ every kulli
every
عَامٍۢ year ʿāmin
year
مَّرَّةً once marratan
once
أَوْ or aw
or
مَرَّتَيْنِ twice marratayni
twice
ثُمَّ Yet thumma
Yet
لَا not
not
يَتُوبُونَ they turn (in repentance) yatūbūna
they turn (in repentance)
وَلَا and not walā
and not
هُمْ they hum
they
يَذَّكَّرُونَ pay heed yadhakkarūna
pay heed
١٢٦ (126)
(126)
Ne voient-ils pas que chaque année on les éprouve une ou deux fois? Malgré cela, ils ne se repentent, ni ne se souviennent.
9:127
وَإِذَا And whenever wa-idhā

ثُمَّ Then thumma
Then
ٱنصَرَفُوا۟ ۚ they turn away inṣarafū
they turn away
صَرَفَ Allah has turned away ṣarafa
Allah has turned away
ٱللَّهُ Allah has turned away l-lahu
Allah has turned away
قُلُوبَهُم their hearts qulūbahum
their hearts
بِأَنَّهُمْ because they bi-annahum
because they
قَوْمٌۭ (are) a people qawmun
(are) a people
لَّا not
not
يَفْقَهُونَ they understand yafqahūna
they understand
١٢٧ (127)
(127)
Et lorsqu'une sourate est révélée, ils se regardent les uns les autres [et se disent] : "Quelqu’un vous voit-il ?" Puis, ils se détournent. Qu’Allah détourne leurs cœurs, puisque ce sont des gens qui ne comprennent rien.
9:128
لَقَدْ Certainly laqad
Certainly
جَآءَكُمْ (has) come to you jāakum
(has) come to you
رَسُولٌۭ a Messenger rasūlun
a Messenger
مِّنْ from min
from
أَنفُسِكُمْ yourselves anfusikum
yourselves
عَزِيزٌ Grievous ʿazīzun
Grievous
عَلَيْهِ to him ʿalayhi
to him
مَا (is) what
(is) what
عَنِتُّمْ you suffer ʿanittum
you suffer
حَرِيصٌ (he is) concerned ḥarīṣun
(he is) concerned
عَلَيْكُم over you ʿalaykum
over you
بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ to the believers bil-mu'minīna
to the believers
رَءُوفٌۭ (he is) kind raūfun
(he is) kind
رَّحِيمٌۭ (and) merciful raḥīmun
(and) merciful
١٢٨ (128)
(128)
Certes, un Messager pris parmi vous, est venu à vous, auquel pèsent lourd les difficultés que vous subissez, qui est plein de sollicitude pour vous, qui est compatissant et miséricordieux envers les croyants.
9:129
فَإِن But if fa-in

تَوَلَّوْا۟ they turn away tawallaw
they turn away
فَقُلْ then say faqul
then say
حَسْبِىَ Sufficient for me ḥasbiya
Sufficient for me
ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah l-lahu
(is) Allah
لَآ (There is) no
(There is) no
إِلَـٰهَ god ilāha
god
إِلَّا except illā
except
هُوَ ۖ Him huwa
Him
عَلَيْهِ On Him ʿalayhi
On Him
تَوَكَّلْتُ ۖ I put my trust tawakkaltu
I put my trust
وَهُوَ And He wahuwa
And He
رَبُّ (is the) Lord rabbu
(is the) Lord
ٱلْعَرْشِ (of) the Throne l-ʿarshi
(of) the Throne
ٱلْعَظِيمِ the Great l-ʿaẓīmi
the Great
١٢٩ (129)
(129)
Alors, s’ils se détournent, dis : "Allah me suffit ! Il n’y a de divinité que Lui. En Lui je place ma confiance; et Il est Seigneur du Trône immense !"
