الحج

La sourate Al-Hajj (الحج) est le 22e chapitre du Saint Coran — une sourate Médinoise de 78 versets. Les sourates médinoises ont été révélées après l'émigration à Médine et traitent plus souvent du culte, de la loi et de la vie de la communauté musulmane.

Bismillah
بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
22:1
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO mankindyāayyuhāٱلنَّاسُO mankindl-nāsuٱتَّقُوا۟Fearittaqūرَبَّكُمْ ۚyour LordrabbakumإِنَّIndeedinnaزَلْزَلَةَ(the) convulsionzalzalataٱلسَّاعَةِ(of) the Hourl-sāʿatiشَىْءٌ(is) a thingshayonعَظِيمٌۭgreatʿaẓīmun١
Ô hommes ! Craignez votre Seigneur ! Certes, le séisme [qui précédera] l’Heure est une chose terrible .
22:2
يَوْمَ(The) Dayyawmaتَرَوْنَهَاyou will see ittarawnahāتَذْهَلُwill forgettadhhaluكُلُّeverykulluمُرْضِعَةٍnursing mothermur'ḍiʿatinعَمَّآthat whichʿammāأَرْضَعَتْshe was nursingarḍaʿatوَتَضَعُand will deliverwataḍaʿuكُلُّeverykulluذَاتِpregnant womandhātiحَمْلٍpregnant womanḥamlinحَمْلَهَاher loadḥamlahāوَتَرَىand you will seewatarāٱلنَّاسَ[the] mankindl-nāsaسُكَـٰرَىٰintoxicatedsukārāوَمَاwhile notwamāهُمtheyhumبِسُكَـٰرَىٰ(are) intoxicatedbisukārāوَلَـٰكِنَّbutwalākinnaعَذَابَ(the) punishmentʿadhābaٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiشَدِيدٌۭ(will be) severeshadīdun٢
Le jour où vous le verrez, toute nourrice oubliera ce qu’elle allaitait, et toute femelle enceinte avortera de ce qu’elle portait. Et tu verras les gens ivres, alors qu’ils ne le sont pas. Mais le châtiment d’Allah est dur.
22:3
وَمِنَAnd amongwaminaٱلنَّاسِthe mankindl-nāsiمَن(is he) whomanيُجَـٰدِلُdisputesyujādiluفِىconcerningfīٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiبِغَيْرِwithoutbighayriعِلْمٍۢknowledgeʿil'minوَيَتَّبِعُand followswayattabiʿuكُلَّeverykullaشَيْطَـٰنٍۢdevilshayṭāninمَّرِيدٍۢrebelliousmarīdin٣
Et il y a des gens qui discutent au sujet d’Allah sans aucune science, et qui suivent tout diable rebelle.
22:4
كُتِبَIt has been decreedkutibaعَلَيْهِfor himʿalayhiأَنَّهُۥthat heannahuمَنwhomanتَوَلَّاهُbefriends himtawallāhuفَأَنَّهُۥthen indeed, hefa-annahuيُضِلُّهُۥwill misguide himyuḍilluhuوَيَهْدِيهِand will guide himwayahdīhiإِلَىٰtoilāعَذَابِ(the) punishmentʿadhābiٱلسَّعِيرِ(of) the Blazel-saʿīri٤
Il a été prescrit à l’égard de ce dernier qu’il égarera quiconque le prendra pour maître, et qu’il le guidera vers le châtiment de la Fournaise.
22:5
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO mankindyāayyuhāٱلنَّاسُO mankindl-nāsuإِنIfinكُنتُمْyou arekuntumفِىinfīرَيْبٍۢdoubtraybinمِّنَaboutminaٱلْبَعْثِthe Resurrectionl-baʿthiفَإِنَّاthen indeed, Wefa-innāخَلَقْنَـٰكُمWe created youkhalaqnākumمِّنfromminتُرَابٍۢdustturābinثُمَّthenthummaمِنfromminنُّطْفَةٍۢa semen-dropnuṭ'fatinثُمَّthenthummaمِنْfromminعَلَقَةٍۢa clinging substanceʿalaqatinثُمَّthenthummaمِنfromminمُّضْغَةٍۢan embryonic lumpmuḍ'ghatinمُّخَلَّقَةٍۢformedmukhallaqatinوَغَيْرِand unformedwaghayriمُخَلَّقَةٍۢand unformedmukhallaqatinلِّنُبَيِّنَthat We may make clearlinubayyinaلَكُمْ ۚto youlakumوَنُقِرُّAnd We cause to remainwanuqirruفِىinfīٱلْأَرْحَامِthe wombsl-arḥāmiمَاwhatmāنَشَآءُWe willnashāuإِلَىٰٓforilāأَجَلٍۢa termajalinمُّسَمًّۭىappointedmusammanثُمَّthenthummaنُخْرِجُكُمْWe bring you outnukh'rijukumطِفْلًۭا(as) a childṭif'lanثُمَّ[then]thummaلِتَبْلُغُوٓا۟that you may reachlitablughūأَشُدَّكُمْ ۖ[your] maturityashuddakumوَمِنكُمAnd among youwaminkumمَّن(is he) whomanيُتَوَفَّىٰdiesyutawaffāوَمِنكُمand among youwaminkumمَّن(is he) whomanيُرَدُّis returnedyuradduإِلَىٰٓtoilāأَرْذَلِthe most abjectardhaliٱلْعُمُرِagel-ʿumuriلِكَيْلَاso that notlikaylāيَعْلَمَhe knowsyaʿlamaمِنۢafterminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiعِلْمٍۢhaving knownʿil'minشَيْـًۭٔا ۚanythingshayanوَتَرَىAnd you seewatarāٱلْأَرْضَthe earthl-arḍaهَامِدَةًۭbarrenhāmidatanفَإِذَآthen whenfa-idhāأَنزَلْنَاWe send downanzalnāعَلَيْهَاon itʿalayhāٱلْمَآءَwaterl-māaٱهْتَزَّتْit gets stirredih'tazzatوَرَبَتْand it swellswarabatوَأَنۢبَتَتْand growswa-anbatatمِنofminكُلِّeverykulliزَوْجٍۭkindzawjinبَهِيجٍۢbeautifulbahījin٥
Ô hommes ! Si vous doutez au sujet de la Résurrection, c’est Nous qui vous avons créés de terre, puis d’une goutte de sperme, puis d’une adhérence puis d’un embryon [normalement] formé aussi bien qu’informe pour vous montrer [Notre Omnipotence] et Nous déposons dans les matrices ce que Nous voulons jusqu’à un terme fixé. Puis Nous vous en faisons sortir [à l’état] de bébé, pour qu’ensuite vous atteigniez votre maturité. Il en est parmi vous qui meurent [jeunes] tandis que d’autres parviennent au plus vil de l’âge si bien qu’ils ne savent plus rien de ce qu’ils connaissaient auparavant. De même tu vois la terre desséchée [mais] dès que Nous y faisons descendre de l’eau elle remue, se gonfle, et fait pousser toutes sortes de splendides couples de végétaux.
22:6
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaبِأَنَّ(is) becausebi-annaٱللَّهَAllah l-lahaهُوَHehuwaٱلْحَقُّ(is) the Truthl-ḥaquوَأَنَّهُۥAnd that Hewa-annahuيُحْىِ[He] gives lifeyuḥ'yīٱلْمَوْتَىٰ(to) the deadl-mawtāوَأَنَّهُۥand that Hewa-annahuعَلَىٰ(is) overʿalāكُلِّeverykulliشَىْءٍۢthingshayinقَدِيرٌۭAll-Powerfulqadīrun٦
Il en est ainsi parce qu’Allah est la vérité; et c’est Lui qui rend la vie aux morts; et c’est Lui qui est Omnipotent.
22:7
وَأَنَّAnd thatwa-annaٱلسَّاعَةَthe Hourl-sāʿataءَاتِيَةٌۭwill comeātiyatunلَّا(there is) nolāرَيْبَdoubtraybaفِيهَاabout itfīhāوَأَنَّand thatwa-annaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيَبْعَثُwill resurrectyabʿathuمَن(those) whomanفِى(are) infīٱلْقُبُورِthe gravesl-qubūri٧
Et que l’Heure arrivera, pas de doute à son sujet, et qu’Allah ressuscitera ceux qui sont dans les tombes.
22:8
وَمِنَAnd amongwaminaٱلنَّاسِmankindl-nāsiمَن(is he) whomanيُجَـٰدِلُdisputesyujādiluفِىconcerningfīٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiبِغَيْرِwithoutbighayriعِلْمٍۢany knowledgeʿil'minوَلَاand notwalāهُدًۭىany guidancehudanوَلَاand notwalāكِتَـٰبٍۢa Bookkitābinمُّنِيرٍۢenlighteningmunīrin٨
Or, il y a des gens qui discutent au sujet d’Allah sans aucune science, ni guide, ni Livre pour les éclairer,
22:9
ثَانِىَTwistingthāniyaعِطْفِهِۦhis neckʿiṭ'fihiلِيُضِلَّto misleadliyuḍillaعَنfromʿanسَبِيلِ(the) waysabīliٱللَّهِ ۖ(of) Allahl-lahiلَهُۥFor himlahuفِىinfīٱلدُّنْيَاthe worldl-dun'yāخِزْىٌۭ ۖ(is) disgracekhiz'yunوَنُذِيقُهُۥand We will make him tastewanudhīquhuيَوْمَ(on the) Dayyawmaٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ(of) Resurrectionl-qiyāmatiعَذَابَ(the) punishmentʿadhābaٱلْحَرِيقِ(of) the Burning Firel-ḥarīqi٩
affichant une attitude orgueilleuse pour égarer les gens du sentier d’Allah. A lui l’ignominie ici-bas; et Nous Lui ferons goûter le Jour de la Résurrection, le châtiment de la fournaise.
22:10
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaبِمَا(is) for whatbimāقَدَّمَتْhave sent forthqaddamatيَدَاكَyour handsyadākaوَأَنَّand thatwa-annaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَيْسَis notlaysaبِظَلَّـٰمٍۢunjustbiẓallāminلِّلْعَبِيدِto His slaveslil'ʿabīdi١٠
Voilà, pour ce que tes deux mains ont préparé (ici- bas) ! Cependant, Allah n’est point injuste envers les serviteurs.
22:11
وَمِنَAnd amongwaminaٱلنَّاسِthe mankindl-nāsiمَن(is he) whomanيَعْبُدُworshipsyaʿbuduٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaعَلَىٰonʿalāحَرْفٍۢ ۖan edgeḥarfinفَإِنْAnd iffa-inأَصَابَهُۥbefalls himaṣābahuخَيْرٌgoodkhayrunٱطْمَأَنَّhe is contentiṭ'ma-annaبِهِۦ ۖwith itbihiوَإِنْand ifwa-inأَصَابَتْهُbefalls himaṣābathuفِتْنَةٌa trialfit'natunٱنقَلَبَhe turnsinqalabaعَلَىٰonʿalāوَجْهِهِۦhis facewajhihiخَسِرَHe has lostkhasiraٱلدُّنْيَاthe worldl-dun'yāوَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ ۚand the Hereafterwal-ākhirataذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaهُوَ[it]huwaٱلْخُسْرَانُ(is) the lossl-khus'rānuٱلْمُبِينُclearl-mubīnu١١
Il en est parmi les gens qui adorent Allah marginalement . S’il leur arrive un bien, ils s’en tranquillisent, et s’il leur arrive une épreuve, ils détournent leur visage, perdant ainsi (le bien) de l’ici-bas et l’au-delà. Telle est la perte évidente !
22:12
يَدْعُوا۟He callsyadʿūمِنbesidesminدُونِbesidesdūniٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiمَاwhatmāلَاnotlāيَضُرُّهُۥharms himyaḍurruhuوَمَاand whatwamāلَاnotlāيَنفَعُهُۥ ۚbenefits himyanfaʿuhuذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaهُوَ[it]huwaٱلضَّلَـٰلُ(is) the strayingl-ḍalāluٱلْبَعِيدُfar awayl-baʿīdu١٢
Ils invoquent en dehors d’Allah, ce qui ne peut ni leur nuire ni leur profiter. Tel est l’égarement profond !
22:13
يَدْعُوا۟He callsyadʿūلَمَن(one) who lamanضَرُّهُۥٓhis harmḍarruhuأَقْرَبُ(is) closeraqrabuمِنthanminنَّفْعِهِۦ ۚhis benefitnafʿihiلَبِئْسَSurely, an evillabi'saٱلْمَوْلَىٰprotectorl-mawlāوَلَبِئْسَand surely an evilwalabi'saٱلْعَشِيرُfriendl-ʿashīru١٣
Ils invoquent ce dont le préjudice est certainement plus proche que le bénéfice. Quel mauvais allié, et quel mauvais compagnon !
22:14
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيُدْخِلُwill admityud'khiluٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and dowaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِthe righteous deedsl-ṣāliḥātiجَنَّـٰتٍۢ(to) Gardensjannātinتَجْرِىflowtajrīمِنfromminتَحْتِهَاunderneath ittaḥtihāٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۚthe riversl-anhāruإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيَفْعَلُdoesyafʿaluمَاwhatmāيُرِيدُHe intendsyurīdu١٤
Ceux qui croient et font de bonnes œuvres, Allah les fait entrer aux Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux, car Allah fait certes ce qu’Il veut.
22:15
مَنWhoevermanكَانَ[is]kānaيَظُنُّthinksyaẓunnuأَنthatanلَّنnotlanيَنصُرَهُAllah will help himyanṣurahuٱللَّهُAllah will help himl-lahuفِىinfīٱلدُّنْيَاthe worldl-dun'yāوَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِand the Hereafterwal-ākhiratiفَلْيَمْدُدْthen let him extendfalyamdudبِسَبَبٍa ropebisababinإِلَىtoilāٱلسَّمَآءِthe skyl-samāiثُمَّthenthummaلْيَقْطَعْlet him cut offl'yaqṭaʿفَلْيَنظُرْthen let him seefalyanẓurهَلْwhetherhalيُذْهِبَنَّwill removeyudh'hibannaكَيْدُهُۥhis plankayduhuمَاwhatmāيَغِيظُenragesyaghīẓu١٥
Celui qui pense qu’Allah ne le secourra pas (Son Prophète) ici-bas et dans l’au-delà, qu’il tende alors une corde jusqu’au ciel, puis qu’il la coupe, et qu’il voit si sa ruse va faire disparaître ce qui l’enrage .
22:16
وَكَذَٰلِكَAnd thuswakadhālikaأَنزَلْنَـٰهُWe sent it downanzalnāhuءَايَـٰتٍۭ(as) clear Versesāyātinبَيِّنَـٰتٍۢ(as) clear Versesbayyinātinوَأَنَّand thatwa-annaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيَهْدِىguidesyahdīمَنwhommanيُرِيدُHe intendsyurīdu١٦
C’est ainsi que Nous le fîmes descendre (le Coran) en versets clairs et Allah guide qui Il veut.
22:17
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟have believedāmanūوَٱلَّذِينَand those whowa-alladhīnaهَادُوا۟were Jewshādūوَٱلصَّـٰبِـِٔينَand the Sabianswal-ṣābiīnaوَٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰand the Christianswal-naṣārāوَٱلْمَجُوسَand the Magianswal-majūsaوَٱلَّذِينَand those whowa-alladhīnaأَشْرَكُوٓا۟(are) polytheistsashrakūإِنَّindeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيَفْصِلُwill judgeyafṣiluبَيْنَهُمْbetween thembaynahumيَوْمَ(on) the Dayyawmaٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚ(of) the Resurrectionl-qiyāmatiإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaعَلَىٰoverʿalāكُلِّeverykulliشَىْءٍۢthingshayinشَهِيدٌ(is) a Witnessshahīdun١٧
Certes, ceux qui ont cru, les Juifs, les Sabéens [les adorateurs des étoiles], les Nazaréens, les Mages et ceux qui donnent à Allah des associés, Allah tranchera entre eux le Jour de la Résurrection, car Allah est certes témoin de toute chose.
22:18
أَلَمْDo notalamتَرَyou seetaraأَنَّthatannaٱللَّهَ(to) Allahl-lahaيَسْجُدُprostratesyasjuduلَهُۥto Himlahuمَنwhoevermanفِى(is) infīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَمَنand whoeverwamanفِى(is) infīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiوَٱلشَّمْسُand the sunwal-shamsuوَٱلْقَمَرُand the moonwal-qamaruوَٱلنُّجُومُand the starswal-nujūmuوَٱلْجِبَالُand the mountainswal-jibāluوَٱلشَّجَرُand the treeswal-shajaruوَٱلدَّوَآبُّand the moving creatureswal-dawābuوَكَثِيرٌۭand manywakathīrunمِّنَofminaٱلنَّاسِ ۖthe peoplel-nāsiوَكَثِيرٌBut many wakathīrunحَقَّ(is) justly dueḥaqqaعَلَيْهِon himʿalayhiٱلْعَذَابُ ۗthe punishmentl-ʿadhābuوَمَنAnd whoeverwamanيُهِنِAllah humiliatesyuhiniٱللَّهُAllah humiliatesl-lahuفَمَاthen notfamāلَهُۥfor himlahuمِنanyminمُّكْرِمٍ ۚbestower of honormuk'riminإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيَفْعَلُdoesyafʿaluمَاwhatmāيَشَآءُ ۩He willsyashāu١٨
N’as-tu pas vu que c’est devant Allah que se prosternent tous ceux qui sont dans les cieux et tous ceux qui sont sur la Terre, le soleil, la lune, les étoiles les montagnes, les arbres, les animaux, ainsi que beaucoup de gens ? Et il y en a aussi beaucoup qui méritent le châtiment. Et quiconque Allah avilit n’a personne pour l’honorer, car Allah fait ce qu’Il veut .
22:19
۞ هَـٰذَانِThese twohādhāniخَصْمَانِopponentskhaṣmāniٱخْتَصَمُوا۟disputeikh'taṣamūفِىconcerningfīرَبِّهِمْ ۖtheir LordrabbihimفَٱلَّذِينَBut those whofa-alladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievedkafarūقُطِّعَتْwill be cut outquṭṭiʿatلَهُمْfor themlahumثِيَابٌۭgarmentsthiyābunمِّنofminنَّارٍۢfirenārinيُصَبُّWill be pouredyuṣabbuمِنoverminفَوْقِoverfawqiرُءُوسِهِمُtheir headsruūsihimuٱلْحَمِيمُ[the] scalding waterl-ḥamīmu١٩
Voici deux clans adverses qui disputaient au sujet de leur Seigneur. À ceux qui ont mécru, on taillera des vêtements de feu, tandis que sur leurs têtes on versera de l’eau bouillante.
22:20
يُصْهَرُWill be meltedyuṣ'haruبِهِۦwith itbihiمَاwhatmāفِى(is) infīبُطُونِهِمْtheir belliesbuṭūnihimوَٱلْجُلُودُand the skinswal-julūdu٢٠
qui fera fondre ce qui est dans leurs ventres de même que leurs peaux.
22:21
وَلَهُمAnd for themwalahumمَّقَـٰمِعُ(are) hooked rodsmaqāmiʿuمِنْofminحَدِيدٍۢironḥadīdin٢١
Et il y aura pour eux des maillets de fer.
22:22
كُلَّمَآEvery timekullamāأَرَادُوٓا۟they wantarādūأَنtoanيَخْرُجُوا۟come outyakhrujūمِنْهَاfrom itmin'hāمِنْfromminغَمٍّanguishghamminأُعِيدُوا۟they will be returneduʿīdūفِيهَاthereinfīhāوَذُوقُوا۟Tastewadhūqūعَذَابَ(the) punishmentʿadhābaٱلْحَرِيقِ(of) the Burning Firel-ḥarīqi٢٢
Toutes les fois qu’ils voudront en sortir (pour échapper) à la détresse, on les y remettra et (on leur dira) : "Goûtez au châtiment de la Fournaise !"
22:23
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيُدْخِلُwill admityud'khiluٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and dowaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِthe righteous deedsl-ṣāliḥātiجَنَّـٰتٍۢ(to) Gardensjannātinتَجْرِىflowtajrīمِنfromminتَحْتِهَاunderneath ittaḥtihāٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُthe riversl-anhāruيُحَلَّوْنَThey will be adornedyuḥallawnaفِيهَاthereinfīhāمِنْwithminأَسَاوِرَbraceletsasāwiraمِنofminذَهَبٍۢgolddhahabinوَلُؤْلُؤًۭا ۖand pearlwalu'lu-anوَلِبَاسُهُمْand their garmentswalibāsuhumفِيهَاthereinfīhāحَرِيرٌۭ(will be of) silkḥarīrun٢٣
Certes Allah introduit ceux qui croient et font de bonnes œuvres aux Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux. Là, ils seront parés de bracelets d’or, et aussi de perles; et leurs vêtements y seront de soie.
22:24
وَهُدُوٓا۟And they were guidedwahudūإِلَىtoilāٱلطَّيِّبِthe goodl-ṭayibiمِنَofminaٱلْقَوْلِthe speechl-qawliوَهُدُوٓا۟and they were guidedwahudūإِلَىٰtoilāصِرَٰطِ(the) pathṣirāṭiٱلْحَمِيدِ(of) the Praiseworthyl-ḥamīdi٢٤
Ils ont été guidés vers la bonne parole et ils ont été guidés vers le chemin du Digne des louanges.
22:25
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievedkafarūوَيَصُدُّونَand hinderwayaṣuddūnaعَنfromʿanسَبِيلِ(the) waysabīliٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَٱلْمَسْجِدِand Al-Masjid Al-Haraamwal-masjidiٱلْحَرَامِand Al-Masjid Al-Haraaml-ḥarāmiٱلَّذِىwhichalladhīجَعَلْنَـٰهُWe made itjaʿalnāhuلِلنَّاسِfor the mankindlilnnāsiسَوَآءًequalsawāanٱلْعَـٰكِفُ(are) the residentl-ʿākifuفِيهِthereinfīhiوَٱلْبَادِ ۚand the visitorwal-bādiوَمَنand whoeverwamanيُرِدْintendsyuridفِيهِthereinfīhiبِإِلْحَادٍۭof deviationbi-il'ḥādinبِظُلْمٍۢ(or) wrongdoingbiẓul'minنُّذِقْهُWe will make him tastenudhiq'huمِنْofminعَذَابٍa punishmentʿadhābinأَلِيمٍۢpainfulalīmin٢٥
Mais ceux qui mécroient et qui obstruent le sentier d’Allah et celui de la Mosquée Sacrée, que Nous avons établie pour les gens: aussi bien les résidents que ceux de passage. Et quiconque cherche à y commettre un sacrilège injustement, Nous lui ferons goûter un châtiment douloureux.
22:26
وَإِذْAnd whenwa-idhبَوَّأْنَاWe assignedbawwanāلِإِبْرَٰهِيمَto Ibrahimli-ib'rāhīmaمَكَانَ(the) sitemakānaٱلْبَيْتِ(of) the Housel-baytiأَنThatanلَّا(do) notlāتُشْرِكْassociatetush'rikبِىwith Mebīشَيْـًۭٔاanythingshayanوَطَهِّرْand purifywaṭahhirبَيْتِىَMy Housebaytiyaلِلطَّآئِفِينَfor those who circumambulatelilṭṭāifīnaوَٱلْقَآئِمِينَand those who standwal-qāimīnaوَٱلرُّكَّعِand those who bowwal-rukaʿiٱلسُّجُودِ(and) those who prostratel-sujūdi٢٦
Et quand Nous indiquâmes pour Abraham le lieu de la Maison (Al Ka'bah) [en lui disant] : "Ne M’associe rien ! Et purifie Ma Maison pour ceux qui tournent autour, pour qui s’y tiennent debout et pour ceux qui s’y inclinent et se prosternent."
22:27
وَأَذِّنAnd proclaimwa-adhinفِىtofīٱلنَّاسِ[the] mankindl-nāsiبِٱلْحَجِّ[of] the Pilgrimagebil-ḥajiيَأْتُوكَthey will come to youyatūkaرِجَالًۭا(on) footrijālanوَعَلَىٰand onwaʿalāكُلِّeverykulliضَامِرٍۢlean camelḍāmirinيَأْتِينَthey will comeyatīnaمِنfromminكُلِّeverykulliفَجٍّmountain highwayfajjinعَمِيقٍۢdistantʿamīqin٢٧
Et fais aux gens une annonce pour le pèlerinage (Al Hajj) . Ils viendront à toi, à pied, et aussi sur toute monture, venant de tout chemin éloigné,
22:28
لِّيَشْهَدُوا۟That they may witnessliyashhadūمَنَـٰفِعَbenefitsmanāfiʿaلَهُمْfor themlahumوَيَذْكُرُوا۟and mentionwayadhkurūٱسْمَ(the) nameis'maٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiفِىٓonfīأَيَّامٍۢdaysayyāminمَّعْلُومَـٰتٍknownmaʿlūmātinعَلَىٰoverʿalāمَاwhatmāرَزَقَهُمHe has provided themrazaqahumمِّنۢofminبَهِيمَةِ(the) beastbahīmatiٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ ۖ(of) cattlel-anʿāmiفَكُلُوا۟So eatfakulūمِنْهَاof themmin'hāوَأَطْعِمُوا۟and feedwa-aṭʿimūٱلْبَآئِسَthe miserablel-bāisaٱلْفَقِيرَthe poorl-faqīra٢٨
pour participer aux avantages qui leur ont été accordés et pour invoquer le nom d’Allah aux jours fixés, sur la bête de cheptel qu’Il leur a attribuée , “Mangez-en vous-mêmes et nourrissez-en le besogneux misérable !
22:29
ثُمَّThenthummaلْيَقْضُوا۟let them endl'yaqḍūتَفَثَهُمْtheir prescribed dutiestafathahumوَلْيُوفُوا۟and fulfilwalyūfūنُذُورَهُمْtheir vowsnudhūrahumوَلْيَطَّوَّفُوا۟and circumambulatewalyaṭṭawwafūبِٱلْبَيْتِthe Housebil-baytiٱلْعَتِيقِ[the] Ancientl-ʿatīqi٢٩
Puis qu’ils mettent fin à leurs interdits (qu’ils nettoient leurs corps), qu’ils remplissent leurs vœux, et qu’ils fassent les circuits autour de l’Antique Maison."
22:30
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaوَمَنand whoeverwamanيُعَظِّمْhonorsyuʿaẓẓimحُرُمَـٰتِ(the) sacred ritesḥurumātiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiفَهُوَthen itfahuwaخَيْرٌۭ(is) bestkhayrunلَّهُۥfor himlahuعِندَnearʿindaرَبِّهِۦ ۗhis LordrabbihiوَأُحِلَّتْAnd are made lawfulwa-uḥillatلَكُمُto youlakumuٱلْأَنْعَـٰمُthe cattlel-anʿāmuإِلَّاexceptillāمَاwhatmāيُتْلَىٰis recitedyut'lāعَلَيْكُمْ ۖto youʿalaykumفَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟So avoidfa-ij'tanibūٱلرِّجْسَthe abominationl-rij'saمِنَofminaٱلْأَوْثَـٰنِthe idolsl-awthāniوَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟and avoidwa-ij'tanibūقَوْلَ(the) wordqawlaٱلزُّورِfalsel-zūri٣٠
Voilà [ce qui doit être observé] et quiconque prend en haute considération les limites sacrées d’Allah, alors cela lui sera meilleur auprès de Son Seigneur. Le bétail, sauf ce qu’on vous a cité, vous a été rendu licite. Abstenez- vous donc de la souillure des idoles et abstenez-vous des paroles mensongères !
22:31
حُنَفَآءَBeing uprightḥunafāaلِلَّهِto Allahlillahiغَيْرَnotghayraمُشْرِكِينَassociating partnersmush'rikīnaبِهِۦ ۚwith HimbihiوَمَنAnd whoeverwamanيُشْرِكْassociates partnersyush'rikبِٱللَّهِwith Allahbil-lahiفَكَأَنَّمَاthen (it is) as thoughfaka-annamāخَرَّhe had fallenkharraمِنَfromminaٱلسَّمَآءِthe skyl-samāiفَتَخْطَفُهُand (had) snatched himfatakhṭafuhuٱلطَّيْرُthe birdsl-ṭayruأَوْorawتَهْوِىhad blowntahwīبِهِhimbihiٱلرِّيحُthe windl-rīḥuفِىtofīمَكَانٍۢa placemakāninسَحِيقٍۢfar offsaḥīqin٣١
(Soyez) exclusivement [acquis à la religion] d’Allah sans rien Lui associer ! Et quiconque associe à Allah, c’est comme s’il tombait du haut du ciel et que les oiseaux le happaient, ou que le vent le précipitait dans un abîme très profond.
22:32
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaوَمَنand whoeverwamanيُعَظِّمْhonorsyuʿaẓẓimشَعَـٰٓئِرَ(the) Symbolsshaʿāiraٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiفَإِنَّهَاthen indeed, itfa-innahāمِن(is) fromminتَقْوَى(the) pietytaqwāٱلْقُلُوبِ(of) the heartsl-qulūbi٣٢
Et quiconque exalte les injonctions sacrées d’Allah, alors cela fait partie de la piété des cœurs.
22:33
لَكُمْFor youlakumفِيهَاthereinfīhāمَنَـٰفِعُ(are) benefitsmanāfiʿuإِلَىٰٓforilāأَجَلٍۢa termajalinمُّسَمًّۭىappointedmusammanثُمَّthenthummaمَحِلُّهَآtheir place of sacrificemaḥilluhāإِلَى(is) atilāٱلْبَيْتِthe Housel-baytiٱلْعَتِيقِthe Ancientl-ʿatīqi٣٣
[De ces bêtes-là] vous tirez des avantages jusqu’à un terme fixé ; puis son lieu d’immolation est auprès de l’Antique Maison.
22:34
وَلِكُلِّAnd for everywalikulliأُمَّةٍۢnationummatinجَعَلْنَاWe have appointedjaʿalnāمَنسَكًۭاa ritemansakanلِّيَذْكُرُوا۟that they may mentionliyadhkurūٱسْمَ(the) nameis'maٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiعَلَىٰoverʿalāمَاwhatmāرَزَقَهُمHe (has) provided themrazaqahumمِّنۢofminبَهِيمَةِ(the) beastbahīmatiٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ ۗ(of) cattlel-anʿāmiفَإِلَـٰهُكُمْAnd your Godfa-ilāhukumإِلَـٰهٌۭ(is) GodilāhunوَٰحِدٌۭOnewāḥidunفَلَهُۥٓso to Himfalahuأَسْلِمُوا۟ ۗsubmitaslimūوَبَشِّرِAnd give glad tidingswabashiriٱلْمُخْبِتِينَ(to) the humble onesl-mukh'bitīna٣٤
À chaque communauté, Nous avons assigné un rite sacrificiel, afin qu’ils prononcent le nom d’Allah sur la bête de cheptel qu’Il leur a attribuée. Votre Dieu est certes un Dieu unique. Soumettez-vous donc à Lui ! Et fais bonne annonce à ceux qui s’humilient,
22:35
ٱلَّذِينَThosealladhīnaإِذَاwhenidhāذُكِرَis mentioneddhukiraٱللَّهُAllah l-lahuوَجِلَتْfearwajilatقُلُوبُهُمْtheir heartsqulūbuhumوَٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَand those who are patientwal-ṣābirīnaعَلَىٰoverʿalāمَآwhatevermāأَصَابَهُمْhas afflicted themaṣābahumوَٱلْمُقِيمِىand those who establishwal-muqīmīٱلصَّلَوٰةِthe prayerl-ṣalatiوَمِمَّاand out of whatwamimmāرَزَقْنَـٰهُمْWe have provided themrazaqnāhumيُنفِقُونَthey spendyunfiqūna٣٥
ceux dont les cœurs frémissent quand le nom d’Allah est mentionné, ceux qui endurent ce qui les atteint et ceux qui accomplissent la prière (As-Salât) et dépensent de ce que Nous leur avons attribué.
22:36
وَٱلْبُدْنَAnd the camels and cattle wal-bud'naجَعَلْنَـٰهَاWe have made themjaʿalnāhāلَكُمfor youlakumمِّنamongminشَعَـٰٓئِرِ(the) Symbolsshaʿāiriٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiلَكُمْfor youlakumفِيهَاthereinfīhāخَيْرٌۭ ۖ(is) goodkhayrunفَٱذْكُرُوا۟So mentionfa-udh'kurūٱسْمَ(the) nameis'maٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiعَلَيْهَاover themʿalayhāصَوَآفَّ ۖ(when) lined upṣawāffaفَإِذَاand whenfa-idhāوَجَبَتْare downwajabatجُنُوبُهَاtheir sidesjunūbuhāفَكُلُوا۟then eatfakulūمِنْهَاfrom themmin'hāوَأَطْعِمُوا۟and feedwa-aṭʿimūٱلْقَانِعَthe needy who do not askl-qāniʿaوَٱلْمُعْتَرَّ ۚand the needy who askwal-muʿ'taraكَذَٰلِكَThuskadhālikaسَخَّرْنَـٰهَاWe have subjected themsakharnāhāلَكُمْto youlakumلَعَلَّكُمْso that you maylaʿallakumتَشْكُرُونَbe gratefultashkurūna٣٦
Nous vous avons désigné les chameaux (et les vaches) bien portants pour certains rites établis par Allah. Il y a en eux pour vous un bien. Prononcez donc sur eux le nom d’Allah, quand ils ont eu la patte attachée, [prêts à être immolés]. Puis, lorsqu’ils gisent sur le flanc mangez-en, et nourrissez-en le besogneux discret et le mendiant. Ainsi Nous vous les avons assujettis afin que vous soyez reconnaissants.
22:37
لَنWill notlanيَنَالَreachyanālaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلُحُومُهَاtheir meatluḥūmuhāوَلَاand notwalāدِمَآؤُهَاtheir blooddimāuhāوَلَـٰكِنbutwalākinيَنَالُهُreaches Himyanāluhuٱلتَّقْوَىٰthe pietyl-taqwāمِنكُمْ ۚfrom youminkumكَذَٰلِكَThuskadhālikaسَخَّرَهَاHe subjected themsakharahāلَكُمْto youlakumلِتُكَبِّرُوا۟so that you may magnifylitukabbirūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaعَلَىٰforʿalāمَاwhatmāهَدَىٰكُمْ ۗHe has guided youhadākumوَبَشِّرِAnd give glad tidingswabashiriٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ(to) the good-doersl-muḥ'sinīna٣٧
Ni leurs chairs ni leurs sangs n’atteignent Allah, mais ce qui L’atteint de votre part c’est la piété. Ainsi vous les a-t-Il assujettis afin que vous proclamiez la grandeur d’Allah, pour vous avoir mis sur le droit chemin. Et annonce la bonne nouvelle aux bienfaisants.
22:38
۞ إِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيُدَٰفِعُdefendsyudāfiʿuعَنِdefendsʿaniٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوٓا۟ ۗbelieveāmanūإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَا(does) notlāيُحِبُّlikeyuḥibbuكُلَّeverykullaخَوَّانٍۢtreacherouskhawwāninكَفُورٍungratefulkafūrin٣٨
Allah prend la défense de ceux qui croient. Allah n’aime aucun traître ingrat.
22:39
أُذِنَPermission is givenudhinaلِلَّذِينَto those wholilladhīnaيُقَـٰتَلُونَare being foughtyuqātalūnaبِأَنَّهُمْbecause theybi-annahumظُلِمُوا۟ ۚwere wrongedẓulimūوَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaعَلَىٰforʿalāنَصْرِهِمْtheir victorynaṣrihimلَقَدِيرٌ(is) surely Ablelaqadīrun٣٩
Autorisation est donnée à ceux qui sont attaqués (de se défendre) - parce que vraiment ils sont lésés ; et Allah est certes Capable de les secourir -
22:40
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaأُخْرِجُوا۟have been evictedukh'rijūمِنfromminدِيَـٰرِهِمtheir homesdiyārihimبِغَيْرِwithoutbighayriحَقٍّrightḥaqqinإِلَّآexceptillāأَنthatanيَقُولُوا۟they saidyaqūlūرَبُّنَاOur Lordrabbunāٱللَّهُ ۗ(is) Allahl-lahuوَلَوْلَاAnd if notwalawlāدَفْعُAllah checksdafʿuٱللَّهِAllah checksl-lahiٱلنَّاسَthe peoplel-nāsaبَعْضَهُمsome of thembaʿḍahumبِبَعْضٍۢby othersbibaʿḍinلَّهُدِّمَتْsurely (would) have been demolishedlahuddimatصَوَٰمِعُmonasteriesṣawāmiʿuوَبِيَعٌۭand churcheswabiyaʿunوَصَلَوَٰتٌۭand synagogueswaṣalawātunوَمَسَـٰجِدُand masajid wamasājiduيُذْكَرُis mentionedyudh'karuفِيهَاin itfīhāٱسْمُ(the) name of Allahus'muٱللَّهِ(the) name of Allahl-lahiكَثِيرًۭا ۗmuchkathīranوَلَيَنصُرَنَّAnd surely Allah will helpwalayanṣurannaٱللَّهُAnd surely Allah will helpl-lahuمَن(those) whomanيَنصُرُهُۥٓ ۗhelp HimyanṣuruhuإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَقَوِىٌّ(is) surely All-StronglaqawiyyunعَزِيزٌAll-Mightyʿazīzun٤٠
ceux qui ont été expulsés de leurs demeures, - contre toute justice, simplement parce qu’ils disaient : “Allah est notre Seigneur.” - Si Allah ne repoussait pas les gens les uns par les autres, des ermitages seraient démolis, ainsi que des églises, des synagogues et des mosquées où le nom d’Allah est beaucoup invoqué. Allah soutient, certes, ceux qui soutiennent (Sa Religion). Allah est assurément Fort et Puissant,
22:41
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaإِنifinمَّكَّنَّـٰهُمْWe establish themmakkannāhumفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe landl-arḍiأَقَامُوا۟they establishaqāmūٱلصَّلَوٰةَthe prayerl-ṣalataوَءَاتَوُا۟and they givewaātawūٱلزَّكَوٰةَzakahl-zakataوَأَمَرُوا۟and they enjoinwa-amarūبِٱلْمَعْرُوفِthe rightbil-maʿrūfiوَنَهَوْا۟and forbidwanahawعَنِfromʿaniٱلْمُنكَرِ ۗthe wrongl-munkariوَلِلَّهِAnd for Allahwalillahiعَـٰقِبَةُ(is the) endʿāqibatuٱلْأُمُورِ(of) the mattersl-umūri٤١
ceux qui, si Nous leur donnons la puissance sur Terre, accomplissent la prière (As-Salât), acquittent l’aumône (Az-Zakât), ordonnent le convenable et interdisent le blâmable. Et l’issue finale de toute chose appartient à Allah.
22:42
وَإِنAnd ifwa-inيُكَذِّبُوكَthey deny youyukadhibūkaفَقَدْso verilyfaqadكَذَّبَتْdeniedkadhabatقَبْلَهُمْbefore themqablahumقَوْمُ(the) peopleqawmuنُوحٍۢ(of) Nuhnūḥinوَعَادٌۭand Aadwaʿādunوَثَمُودُand Thamudwathamūdu٤٢
Et s’ils te traitent de menteur, [sache que] le peuple de Noé, les 'Âd, les Thamûd avant eux, ont aussi crié au mensonge (à l’égard de leurs Messagers),
22:43
وَقَوْمُAnd (the) peoplewaqawmuإِبْرَٰهِيمَ(of) Ibrahimib'rāhīmaوَقَوْمُand (the) peoplewaqawmuلُوطٍۢ(of) Lutlūṭin٤٣
de même que le peuple d’Abraham, le peuple de Lot,
22:44
وَأَصْحَـٰبُAnd the inhabitantswa-aṣḥābuمَدْيَنَ ۖ(of) MadyanmadyanaوَكُذِّبَAnd Musa was deniedwakudhibaمُوسَىٰAnd Musa was deniedmūsāفَأَمْلَيْتُso I granted respitefa-amlaytuلِلْكَـٰفِرِينَto the disbelieverslil'kāfirīnaثُمَّthenthummaأَخَذْتُهُمْ ۖI seized themakhadhtuhumفَكَيْفَand howfakayfaكَانَwaskānaنَكِيرِMy punishmentnakīri٤٤
et les gens de Madyan. Et Moïse fut traité de menteur ; Puis, J’ai donné un répit aux mécréants, ensuite Je les ai saisis. Et quelle fut Ma réprobation !
22:45
فَكَأَيِّنAnd how manyfaka-ayyinمِّنofminقَرْيَةٍa townshipqaryatinأَهْلَكْنَـٰهَاWe have destroyed itahlaknāhāوَهِىَwhile itwahiyaظَالِمَةٌۭwas doing wrongẓālimatunفَهِىَso itfahiyaخَاوِيَةٌfellkhāwiyatunعَلَىٰonʿalāعُرُوشِهَاits roofsʿurūshihāوَبِئْرٍۢand wellwabi'rinمُّعَطَّلَةٍۢabandonedmuʿaṭṭalatinوَقَصْرٍۢand castlewaqaṣrinمَّشِيدٍloftymashīdin٤٥
Que de cités, donc, avons-Nous fait périr, parce qu’elles commettaient des tyrannies. Elles sont réduites à des toits écroulés ! Que de puits désertés ! Que de palais édifiés (et désertés aussi) !
22:46
أَفَلَمْSo have notafalamيَسِيرُوا۟they traveledyasīrūفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe landl-arḍiفَتَكُونَand isfatakūnaلَهُمْfor themlahumقُلُوبٌۭheartsqulūbunيَعْقِلُونَ(to) reasonyaʿqilūnaبِهَآwith itbihāأَوْorawءَاذَانٌۭearsādhānunيَسْمَعُونَ(to) hearyasmaʿūnaبِهَا ۖwith itbihāفَإِنَّهَاFor indeed, [it]fa-innahāلَاnotlāتَعْمَى(are) blindedtaʿmāٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُthe eyesl-abṣāruوَلَـٰكِنbutwalākinتَعْمَى(are) blindedtaʿmāٱلْقُلُوبُthe heartsl-qulūbuٱلَّتِىwhichallatīفِى(are) infīٱلصُّدُورِthe breastsl-ṣudūri٤٦
Que ne parcourent-ils sur la Terre afin d’avoir des cœurs pour comprendre, et des oreilles pour entendre ? Car ce ne sont pas les yeux qui s’aveuglent, mais, ce sont les cœurs dans les poitrines qui s’aveuglent.
22:47
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَAnd they ask you to hastenwayastaʿjilūnakaبِٱلْعَذَابِthe punishmentbil-ʿadhābiوَلَنBut never willwalanيُخْلِفَfail/violateyukh'lifaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuوَعْدَهُۥ ۚ(in) His PromisewaʿdahuوَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaيَوْمًاa dayyawmanعِندَwithʿindaرَبِّكَyour Lordrabbikaكَأَلْفِ(is) like a thousandka-alfiسَنَةٍۢyear(s)sanatinمِّمَّاof whatmimmāتَعُدُّونَyou counttaʿuddūna٤٧
Et ils te demandent de hâter [l’arrivée] du châtiment. Jamais Allah ne manquera à Sa promesse. Cependant, un jour auprès de ton Seigneur équivaut à mille ans de ce que vous comptez.
22:48
وَكَأَيِّنAnd how manywaka-ayyinمِّنofminقَرْيَةٍa townshipqaryatinأَمْلَيْتُI gave respiteamlaytuلَهَاto itlahāوَهِىَwhile itwahiyaظَالِمَةٌۭ(was) doing wrongẓālimatunثُمَّThenthummaأَخَذْتُهَاI seized itakhadhtuhāوَإِلَىَّand to Mewa-ilayyaٱلْمَصِيرُ(is) the destinationl-maṣīru٤٨
À combien de cités n’ai-Je pas donné répit alors qu’elles commettaient des tyrannies ? Ensuite, Je les ai saisies. Et vers Moi est le devenir.
22:49
قُلْSayqulيَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO mankindyāayyuhāٱلنَّاسُO mankindl-nāsuإِنَّمَآOnlyinnamāأَنَا۠I amanāلَكُمْto youlakumنَذِيرٌۭa warnernadhīrunمُّبِينٌۭclearmubīnun٤٩
Dis : "Ô hommes ! Je ne suis pour vous, en vérité, qu’un avertisseur explicite."
22:50
فَٱلَّذِينَSo those whofa-alladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and dowaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِrighteous deeds l-ṣāliḥātiلَهُمfor themlahumمَّغْفِرَةٌۭ(is) forgivenessmaghfiratunوَرِزْقٌۭand a provisionwariz'qunكَرِيمٌۭnoblekarīmun٥٠
Ceux donc qui croient et font de bonnes œuvres auront un pardon et une provision généreuse,
22:51
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaسَعَوْا۟strovesaʿawفِىٓagainstfīءَايَـٰتِنَاOur Versesāyātināمُعَـٰجِزِينَ(to) cause failuremuʿājizīnaأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthoseulāikaأَصْحَـٰبُ(are the) companionsaṣḥābuٱلْجَحِيمِ(of) the Hellfirel-jaḥīmi٥١
tandis que ceux qui, sournoisement, s'efforcent de rendre inaptes Nos versets, ceux-là sont les gens de l'Enfer.
22:52
وَمَآAnd notwamāأَرْسَلْنَاWe sentarsalnāمِنbefore youminقَبْلِكَbefore youqablikaمِنanyminرَّسُولٍۢMessengerrasūlinوَلَاand notwalāنَبِىٍّa Prophetnabiyyinإِلَّآbutillāإِذَاwhenidhāتَمَنَّىٰٓhe recitedtamannāأَلْقَىthrewalqāٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُthe Shaitaanl-shayṭānuفِىٓinfīأُمْنِيَّتِهِۦhis recitationum'niyyatihiفَيَنسَخُBut Allah abolishesfayansakhuٱللَّهُBut Allah abolishesl-lahuمَاwhatmāيُلْقِىthrowsyul'qīٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُthe Shaitaanl-shayṭānuثُمَّthenthummaيُحْكِمُAllah will establishyuḥ'kimuٱللَّهُAllah will establishl-lahuءَايَـٰتِهِۦ ۗHis VersesāyātihiوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuعَلِيمٌ(is) All-KnowerʿalīmunحَكِيمٌۭAll-Wiseḥakīmun٥٢
Nous n’avons envoyé, avant toi, ni Messager ni Prophète qui n’ait récité (ce qui lui a été révélé) sans que le Diable (Satan) n’ait essayé d’intervenir [pour semer le doute dans le cœur des gens au sujet] de sa récitation. Allah abroge ce que le Diable (Satan) suggère, ensuite Allah renforce Ses versets. Et Allah est Omniscient et Sage.
22:53
لِّيَجْعَلَThat He may makeliyajʿalaمَاwhatmāيُلْقِىthe Shaitaan throwsyul'qīٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُthe Shaitaan throwsl-shayṭānuفِتْنَةًۭa trialfit'natanلِّلَّذِينَfor thoselilladhīnaفِىinfīقُلُوبِهِمtheir heartsqulūbihimمَّرَضٌۭ(is) a diseasemaraḍunوَٱلْقَاسِيَةِand (are) hardenedwal-qāsiyatiقُلُوبُهُمْ ۗtheir heartsqulūbuhumوَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَthe wrongdoersl-ẓālimīnaلَفِى(are) surely, inlafīشِقَاقٍۭschismshiqāqinبَعِيدٍۢfarbaʿīdin٥٣
Afin de faire, de ce que suggère le Diable (Satan), une tentation pour ceux qui ont une maladie au cœur et ceux qui ont le cœur dur. Et les injustes sont certes dans un schisme profond.
22:54
وَلِيَعْلَمَAnd that may knowwaliyaʿlamaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaأُوتُوا۟have been givenūtūٱلْعِلْمَthe knowledgel-ʿil'maأَنَّهُthat itannahuٱلْحَقُّ(is) the truthl-ḥaquمِنfromminرَّبِّكَyour Lordrabbikaفَيُؤْمِنُوا۟and they believefayu'minūبِهِۦin itbihiفَتُخْبِتَand may humbly submitfatukh'bitaلَهُۥto itlahuقُلُوبُهُمْ ۗtheir heartsqulūbuhumوَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَهَادِ(is) surely (the) Guidelahādiٱلَّذِينَ(of) those whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوٓا۟believeāmanūإِلَىٰtoilāصِرَٰطٍۢa PathṣirāṭinمُّسْتَقِيمٍۢStraightmus'taqīmin٥٤
Et afin que ceux à qui le savoir a été donné sachent que (le Coran) est en effet, la Vérité venant de ton Seigneur. Qu’ils y croient alors, et que leurs cœurs s’y soumettent en toute humilité ! Et Allah guide certes vers le droit chemin ceux qui croient.
22:55
وَلَاAnd notwalāيَزَالُwill ceaseyazāluٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūفِى(to be) infīمِرْيَةٍۢdoubtmir'yatinمِّنْهُof itmin'huحَتَّىٰuntilḥattāتَأْتِيَهُمُcomes to themtatiyahumuٱلسَّاعَةُthe Hourl-sāʿatuبَغْتَةًsuddenlybaghtatanأَوْorawيَأْتِيَهُمْcomes to themyatiyahumعَذَابُ(the) punishmentʿadhābuيَوْمٍ(of) a Dayyawminعَقِيمٍbarrenʿaqīmin٥٥
Et ceux qui mécroient ne cesseront d’être en doute à son sujet, jusqu’à ce que l’Heure les surprenne à l’improviste ou que les atteigne le châtiment d’un jour terrifiant.
22:56
ٱلْمُلْكُThe Sovereigntyal-mul'kuيَوْمَئِذٍۢ(on) that Dayyawma-idhinلِّلَّهِ(will be) for AllahlillahiيَحْكُمُHe will judgeyaḥkumuبَيْنَهُمْ ۚbetween thembaynahumفَٱلَّذِينَSo those whofa-alladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and didwaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِrighteous deedsl-ṣāliḥātiفِى(will be) infīجَنَّـٰتِGardensjannātiٱلنَّعِيمِ(of) Delightl-naʿīmi٥٦
La souveraineté ce jour-là appartiendra à Allah qui jugera parmi eux. Alors, ceux qui auront cru et fait de bonnes œuvres seront dans les Jardins de délice,
22:57
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievedkafarūوَكَذَّبُوا۟and deniedwakadhabūبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاOur Versesbiāyātināفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthen thosefa-ulāikaلَهُمْfor themlahumعَذَابٌۭ(will be) a punishmentʿadhābunمُّهِينٌۭhumiliatingmuhīnun٥٧
et quant aux infidèles qui auront traité Nos versets de mensonges, alors ils auront un châtiment avilissant !
22:58
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaهَاجَرُوا۟emigratedhājarūفِىinfīسَبِيلِ(the) waysabīliٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiثُمَّthenthummaقُتِلُوٓا۟were killedqutilūأَوْorawمَاتُوا۟diedmātūلَيَرْزُقَنَّهُمُsurely, Allah will provide themlayarzuqannahumuٱللَّهُsurely, Allah will provide theml-lahuرِزْقًاa provisionriz'qanحَسَنًۭا ۚgoodḥasananوَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَهُوَsurely, Helahuwaخَيْرُ(is the) Bestkhayruٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ(of) the Providersl-rāziqīna٥٨
Quant à ceux qui ont émigré dans le sentier d’Allah et qui ont été tués ou sont morts, Allah leur accordera certes une belle récompense, car Allah est le meilleur des pourvoyeurs.
22:59
لَيُدْخِلَنَّهُمSurely, He will admit themlayud'khilannahumمُّدْخَلًۭا(to) an entrancemud'khalanيَرْضَوْنَهُۥ ۗthey will be pleased (with) ityarḍawnahuوَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَعَلِيمٌsurely, (is) All-KnowinglaʿalīmunحَلِيمٌۭMost Forbearingḥalīmun٥٩
Il les fera, certes, entrer en un lieu qu’ils agréeront, et Allah est certes Omniscient et Indulgent.
22:60
۞ ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaوَمَنْand whoeverwamanعَاقَبَhas retaliatedʿāqabaبِمِثْلِwith the likebimith'liمَا(of) thatmāعُوقِبَhe was made to sufferʿūqibaبِهِۦby itbihiثُمَّthenthummaبُغِىَhe was oppressedbughiyaعَلَيْهِ[on him]ʿalayhiلَيَنصُرَنَّهُAllah will surely help himlayanṣurannahuٱللَّهُ ۗAllah will surely help himl-lahuإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَعَفُوٌّ(is) surely Oft-PardoninglaʿafuwwunغَفُورٌۭOft-Forgivingghafūrun٦٠
Ainsi en est-il. Et quiconque châtie de la même façon dont il a été châtié, et qu’ensuite il est victime d’un nouvel outrage, Allah l’aidera, car Allah est certainement Absoluteur et Pardonneur.
22:61
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaبِأَنَّ(is) becausebi-annaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيُولِجُcauses to enteryūlijuٱلَّيْلَthe nightal-laylaفِىin (to)fīٱلنَّهَارِthe dayl-nahāriوَيُولِجُand causes to enterwayūlijuٱلنَّهَارَthe dayl-nahāraفِىin (to)fīٱلَّيْلِthe nightal-layliوَأَنَّAnd indeedwa-annaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaسَمِيعٌۢ(is) All-HearersamīʿunبَصِيرٌۭAll-Seerbaṣīrun٦١
C’est ainsi qu’Allah fait pénétrer la nuit dans le jour, et fait pénétrer le jour dans la nuit. Et Allah est, certes, Audient et Clairvoyant.
22:62
ذَٰلِكَThat (is)dhālikaبِأَنَّbecausebi-annaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaهُوَHehuwaٱلْحَقُّ(is) the Truthl-ḥaquوَأَنَّand thatwa-annaمَاwhatmāيَدْعُونَthey invokeyadʿūnaمِنbesides Himminدُونِهِۦbesides Himdūnihiهُوَithuwaٱلْبَـٰطِلُ(is) the falsehoodl-bāṭiluوَأَنَّAnd thatwa-annaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaهُوَHehuwaٱلْعَلِىُّ(is) the Most Highl-ʿaliyuٱلْكَبِيرُthe Most Greatl-kabīru٦٢
C’est ainsi qu’Allah est Lui le Vrai, alors que ce qu’ils invoquent en dehors de Lui est le Faux ; et c’est Allah qui est le Sublime, le Grand.
22:63
أَلَمْDo notalamتَرَyou seetaraأَنَّthatannaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaأَنزَلَsends downanzalaمِنَfromminaٱلسَّمَآءِthe skyl-samāiمَآءًۭwatermāanفَتُصْبِحُthen becomesfatuṣ'biḥuٱلْأَرْضُthe earthl-arḍuمُخْضَرَّةً ۗgreenmukh'ḍarratanإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَطِيفٌ(is) surely SubtlelaṭīfunخَبِيرٌۭAll-Awarekhabīrun٦٣
N’as-tu pas vu qu’Allah fait descendre une eau du ciel, et la Terre devient alors verte ? Allah est Plein de bonté et Parfaitement Connaisseur.
22:64
لَّهُۥFor Himlahuمَا(is) whatevermāفِى(is) infīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَمَاand whateverwamāفِى(is) infīٱلْأَرْضِ ۗthe earthl-arḍiوَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَهُوَsurely, Helahuwaٱلْغَنِىُّ(is) Free of needl-ghaniyuٱلْحَمِيدُthe Praiseworthyl-ḥamīdu٦٤
À Lui appartient ce qui est dans les cieux et sur la Terre. Allah est le seul qui se suffit à Lui-Même et qui est Le Digne de louange !
22:65
أَلَمْDo notalamتَرَyou seetaraأَنَّthatannaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaسَخَّرَ(has) subjectedsakharaلَكُمto youlakumمَّاwhatmāفِى(is) infīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiوَٱلْفُلْكَand the shipswal-ful'kaتَجْرِىthat sailtajrīفِىthroughfīٱلْبَحْرِthe seal-baḥriبِأَمْرِهِۦby His Commandbi-amrihiوَيُمْسِكُAnd He withholdswayum'sikuٱلسَّمَآءَthe skyl-samāaأَنlestanتَقَعَit fallstaqaʿaعَلَىonʿalāٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiإِلَّاexceptillāبِإِذْنِهِۦٓ ۗby His permissionbi-idh'nihiإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaبِٱلنَّاسِto mankindbil-nāsiلَرَءُوفٌۭ(is) Full of KindnesslaraūfunرَّحِيمٌۭMost Mercifulraḥīmun٦٥
N’as-tu pas vu qu’Allah vous a soumis tout ce qui est sur la terre ainsi que le vaisseau qui vogue sur la mer par Son ordre ? Il retient le ciel de tomber sur la terre, sauf quand Il le permettra. Car Allah est Plein de bonté et de miséricorde envers les hommes.
22:66
وَهُوَAnd Hewahuwaٱلَّذِىٓ(is) the One Whoalladhīأَحْيَاكُمْgave you lifeaḥyākumثُمَّthenthummaيُمِيتُكُمْHe will cause you to dieyumītukumثُمَّthenthummaيُحْيِيكُمْ ۗHe will give you life (again)yuḥ'yīkumإِنَّIndeedinnaٱلْإِنسَـٰنَmanl-insānaلَكَفُورٌۭ(is) surely ungratefullakafūrun٦٦
Et c’est Lui qui vous donne la vie puis vous donne la mort, puis vous fait revivre. Vraiment l’homme est très ingrat.
22:67
لِّكُلِّFor everylikulliأُمَّةٍۢnationummatinجَعَلْنَاWe have madejaʿalnāمَنسَكًاrite(s)mansakanهُمْtheyhumنَاسِكُوهُ ۖperform itnāsikūhuفَلَاSo let them not dispute with youfalāيُنَـٰزِعُنَّكَSo let them not dispute with youyunāziʿunnakaفِىinfīٱلْأَمْرِ ۚthe matterl-amriوَٱدْعُbut invite (them)wa-ud'ʿuإِلَىٰtoilāرَبِّكَ ۖyour LordrabbikaإِنَّكَIndeed, youinnakaلَعَلَىٰ(are) surely onlaʿalāهُدًۭىguidancehudanمُّسْتَقِيمٍۢstraightmus'taqīmin٦٧
À chaque communauté, Nous avons assigné un culte à suivre. Qu’ils ne disputent donc point avec toi l’ordre reçu ! Et appelle à ton Seigneur. Tu es certes sur une voie droite.
22:68
وَإِنAnd ifwa-inجَـٰدَلُوكَthey argue (with) youjādalūkaفَقُلِthen sayfaquliٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuأَعْلَمُ(is) most knowingaʿlamuبِمَاof whatbimāتَعْمَلُونَyou dotaʿmalūna٦٨
Et s’ils polémiquent avec toi, alors dis : “C’est Allah qui connaît mieux ce que vous faites.
22:69
ٱللَّهُAllahal-lahuيَحْكُمُwill judgeyaḥkumuبَيْنَكُمْbetween youbaynakumيَوْمَ(on the) Dayyawmaٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrectionl-qiyāmatiفِيمَاconcerning whatfīmāكُنتُمْyou used (to)kuntumفِيهِin itfīhiتَخْتَلِفُونَdiffertakhtalifūna٦٩
Allah jugera entre vous, au Jour de la Résurrection, ce en quoi vous divergez."
22:70
أَلَمْDo notalamتَعْلَمْyou knowtaʿlamأَنَّthatannaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيَعْلَمُknowsyaʿlamuمَاwhatmāفِى(is) infīٱلسَّمَآءِthe heavenl-samāiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗand the earthwal-arḍiإِنَّIndeedinnaذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaفِى(is) infīكِتَـٰبٍ ۚa Recordkitābinإِنَّindeedinnaذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaعَلَى(is) forʿalāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiيَسِيرٌۭeasyyasīrun٧٠
Ne sais-tu pas qu’Allah sait ce qu’il y a dans le ciel et sur la Terre ? Tout cela est dans un Livre, et cela pour Allah est bien facile.
22:71
وَيَعْبُدُونَAnd they worshipwayaʿbudūnaمِنbesides Allahminدُونِbesides Allahdūniٱللَّهِbesides Allahl-lahiمَاwhatmāلَمْnotlamيُنَزِّلْHe (has) sent downyunazzilبِهِۦfor itbihiسُلْطَـٰنًۭاany authoritysul'ṭānanوَمَاand whatwamāلَيْسَnotlaysaلَهُمthey havelahumبِهِۦof itbihiعِلْمٌۭ ۗany knowledgeʿil'munوَمَاAnd notwamāلِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ(will be) for the wrongdoerslilẓẓālimīnaمِنanyminنَّصِيرٍۢhelpernaṣīrin٧١
Et ils adorent en dehors, d’Allah, ce en quoi Il n’a fait descendre aucune preuve et ce dont ils n’ont aucune connaissance. Et il n’y aura pas de secoureur pour les injustes.
22:72
وَإِذَاAnd whenwa-idhāتُتْلَىٰare recitedtut'lāعَلَيْهِمْto themʿalayhimءَايَـٰتُنَاOur Versesāyātunāبَيِّنَـٰتٍۢclearbayyinātinتَعْرِفُyou will recognizetaʿrifuفِىonfīوُجُوهِ(the) faceswujūhiٱلَّذِينَ(of) those whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūٱلْمُنكَرَ ۖthe deniall-munkaraيَكَادُونَThey almostyakādūnaيَسْطُونَattackyasṭūnaبِٱلَّذِينَthose whobi-alladhīnaيَتْلُونَreciteyatlūnaعَلَيْهِمْto themʿalayhimءَايَـٰتِنَا ۗOur VersesāyātināقُلْSayqulأَفَأُنَبِّئُكُمThen shall I inform youafa-unabbi-ukumبِشَرٍّۢof worsebisharrinمِّنthanminذَٰلِكُمُ ۗthatdhālikumuٱلنَّارُThe Firel-nāruوَعَدَهَاAllah (has) promised itwaʿadahāٱللَّهُAllah (has) promised itl-lahuٱلَّذِينَ(for) those whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟ ۖdisbelievekafarūوَبِئْسَand wretchedwabi'saٱلْمَصِيرُ(is) the destinationl-maṣīru٧٢
Et quand on leur récite Nos versets bien clairs, tu discerneras la réprobation sur les visages de ceux qui ont mécru. Peu s’en faut qu’ils ne se jettent sur ceux qui leur récitent Nos versets. Dis : “Vous informerai-je de quelque chose de plus terrible ? - Le Feu : Allah l’a promis à ceux qui ont mécru. Et quel affreux devenir ! ”
22:73
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO mankindyāayyuhāٱلنَّاسُO mankindl-nāsuضُرِبَIs set forthḍuribaمَثَلٌۭan examplemathalunفَٱسْتَمِعُوا۟so listenfa-is'tamiʿūلَهُۥٓ ۚto itlahuإِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whomalladhīnaتَدْعُونَyou invoketadʿūnaمِنbesides Allahminدُونِbesides Allahdūniٱللَّهِbesides Allahl-lahiلَنwill neverlanيَخْلُقُوا۟createyakhluqūذُبَابًۭاa flydhubābanوَلَوِeven ifwalawiٱجْتَمَعُوا۟they gathered togetherij'tamaʿūلَهُۥ ۖfor itlahuوَإِنAnd ifwa-inيَسْلُبْهُمُsnatched away from themyaslub'humuٱلذُّبَابُthe flyl-dhubābuشَيْـًۭٔاa thingshayanلَّاnotlāيَسْتَنقِذُوهُthey (could) take it backyastanqidhūhuمِنْهُ ۚfrom itmin'huضَعُفَSo weakḍaʿufaٱلطَّالِبُ(are) the seekerl-ṭālibuوَٱلْمَطْلُوبُand the one who is soughtwal-maṭlūbu٧٣
Ô hommes ! Une parabole vous est proposée, écoutez-la : “Ceux que vous invoquez en dehors d’Allah ne sauraient même pas créer une mouche, quand bien même ils s’uniraient pour cela. Et si la mouche les dépouillait de quelque chose, ils ne sauraient le lui reprendre. Le solliciteur et le sollicité sont [pareillement] faibles ! ”
22:74
مَاNotmāقَدَرُوا۟they (have) estimatedqadarūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaحَقَّ(with) dueḥaqqaقَدْرِهِۦٓ ۗ[His] estimationqadrihiإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَقَوِىٌّ(is) surely All-StronglaqawiyyunعَزِيزٌAll-Mightyʿazīzun٧٤
Ils n’ont pas estimé Allah à sa juste valeur ; Allah est certes Fort et Puissant.
22:75
ٱللَّهُAllahal-lahuيَصْطَفِىchoosesyaṣṭafīمِنَfromminaٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِthe Angelsl-malāikatiرُسُلًۭاMessengersrusulanوَمِنَand fromwaminaٱلنَّاسِ ۚthe mankindl-nāsiإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaسَمِيعٌۢ(is) All-HearersamīʿunبَصِيرٌۭAll-Seerbaṣīrun٧٥
Allah choisit des Messagers parmi les Anges et parmi les hommes. Allah est Audient et Clairvoyant.
22:76
يَعْلَمُHe knowsyaʿlamuمَاwhatmāبَيْنَ(is) before thembaynaأَيْدِيهِمْ(is) before themaydīhimوَمَاand whatwamāخَلْفَهُمْ ۗ(is) after themkhalfahumوَإِلَىAnd towa-ilāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiتُرْجَعُreturntur'jaʿuٱلْأُمُورُall the mattersl-umūru٧٦
Il sait ce qui est devant eux et derrière eux. Et c’est vers Allah que tout retournera.
22:77
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO you who believeyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَO you who believealladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟O you who believeāmanūٱرْكَعُوا۟Bowir'kaʿūوَٱسْجُدُوا۟and prostratewa-us'judūوَٱعْبُدُوا۟and worshipwa-uʿ'budūرَبَّكُمْyour Lordrabbakumوَٱفْعَلُوا۟and dowa-if'ʿalūٱلْخَيْرَ[the] goodl-khayraلَعَلَّكُمْso that you maylaʿallakumتُفْلِحُونَ ۩be successfultuf'liḥūna٧٧
Ô vous qui croyez ! Inclinez-vous, prosternez-vous, adorez votre Seigneur, et faites le bien ! Peut-être réussirez-vous !
22:78
وَجَـٰهِدُوا۟And strivewajāhidūفِىforfīٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiحَقَّ(with the) striving due (to) Himḥaqqaجِهَادِهِۦ ۚ(with the) striving due (to) HimjihādihiهُوَHehuwaٱجْتَبَىٰكُمْ(has) chosen youij'tabākumوَمَاand notwamāجَعَلَplacedjaʿalaعَلَيْكُمْupon youʿalaykumفِىinfīٱلدِّينِthe religionl-dīniمِنْanyminحَرَجٍۢ ۚdifficultyḥarajinمِّلَّةَ(The) religionmillataأَبِيكُمْ(of) your fatherabīkumإِبْرَٰهِيمَ ۚIbrahimib'rāhīmaهُوَHehuwaسَمَّىٰكُمُnamed yousammākumuٱلْمُسْلِمِينَMuslimsl-mus'limīnaمِنbeforeminقَبْلُbeforeqabluوَفِىand inwafīهَـٰذَاthishādhāلِيَكُونَthat may beliyakūnaٱلرَّسُولُthe Messengerl-rasūluشَهِيدًاa witnessshahīdanعَلَيْكُمْover youʿalaykumوَتَكُونُوا۟and you may bewatakūnūشُهَدَآءَwitnessesshuhadāaعَلَىonʿalāٱلنَّاسِ ۚthe mankindl-nāsiفَأَقِيمُوا۟So establishfa-aqīmūٱلصَّلَوٰةَthe prayerl-ṣalataوَءَاتُوا۟and givewaātūٱلزَّكَوٰةَzakahl-zakataوَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟and hold fastwa-iʿ'taṣimūبِٱللَّهِto Allahbil-lahiهُوَHehuwaمَوْلَىٰكُمْ ۖ(is) your Protector mawlākumفَنِعْمَso an Excellentfaniʿ'maٱلْمَوْلَىٰ[the] Protectorl-mawlāوَنِعْمَand an Excellentwaniʿ'maٱلنَّصِيرُ[the] Helperl-naṣīru٧٨
Et luttez pour Allah avec tout l’effort qu’Il mérite. C’est Lui qui vous a élus ; et Il ne vous a imposé aucune gêne dans la religion, celle de votre père Abraham, lequel vous a déjà nommés "Musulmans" avant (ce Livre) et dans ce (Livre), afin que le Messager soit témoin contre vous, et que vous soyez vous-mêmes témoins contre les gens. Accomplissez donc la prière (As-Salât), acquittez l’aumône (Az-Zakât) et attachez-vous fortement à Allah ! C’est Lui votre Maître. Et quel Excellent Maître ! Et quel Excellent soutien !
