بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
3:1
الٓمٓAlif Laam Meemalif-lam-meem١
Alif, Lâm, Mîm .
3:2
ٱللَّهُAllah al-lahuلَآ(there is) nolāإِلَـٰهَGodilāhaإِلَّاexceptillāهُوَHimhuwaٱلْحَىُّthe Ever-Livingl-ḥayuٱلْقَيُّومُthe Sustainer of all that existsl-qayūmu٢
Allah! Pas de divinité à part Lui, le Vivant, Celui qui subsiste par Lui-même (Al Qayyum) .
3:3
نَزَّلَHe revealednazzalaعَلَيْكَto youʿalaykaٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaبِٱلْحَقِّin [the] truthbil-ḥaqiمُصَدِّقًۭاconfirmingmuṣaddiqanلِّمَاthat whichlimāبَيْنَ(was)baynaيَدَيْهِbefore ityadayhiوَأَنزَلَand He revealedwa-anzalaٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَthe Tauratl-tawrātaوَٱلْإِنجِيلَand the Injeelwal-injīla٣
Il a fait descendre sur toi le Livre avec la vérité, confirmant les Livres descendus avant Lui . Et Il fit descendre la Thora et l’Évangile
3:4
مِنFromminقَبْلُbefore (this)qabluهُدًۭى(as) guidancehudanلِّلنَّاسِfor the mankindlilnnāsiوَأَنزَلَAnd (He) revealedwa-anzalaٱلْفُرْقَانَ ۗthe Criterionl-fur'qānaإِنَّVerilyinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelieve[d]kafarūبِـَٔايَـٰتِin (the) Versesbiāyātiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiلَهُمْfor themlahumعَذَابٌۭ(is) a punishmentʿadhābunشَدِيدٌۭ ۗsevereshadīdunوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuعَزِيزٌۭ(is) All-MightyʿazīzunذُوAll-Abledhūٱنتِقَامٍ(of) retributionintiqāmin٤
auparavant, en tant que guide pour les gens. Et Il a fait descendre le Discernement. Ceux qui ne croient pas aux signes d’Allah auront, certes, un dur châtiment! Et, Allah est Puissant, Détenteur du pouvoir de punir.
3:5
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllah l-lahaلَاnotlāيَخْفَىٰis hiddenyakhfāعَلَيْهِfrom Himʿalayhiشَىْءٌۭanythingshayonفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiوَلَاand notwalāفِىinfīٱلسَّمَآءِthe heavenl-samāi٥
Rien, vraiment, ne se cache d’Allah de ce qui existe sur la terre ou dans le ciel.
3:6
هُوَHehuwaٱلَّذِى(is) the One Whoalladhīيُصَوِّرُكُمْshapes youyuṣawwirukumفِىinfīٱلْأَرْحَامِthe wombsl-arḥāmiكَيْفَhow(ever)kayfaيَشَآءُ ۚHe willsyashāuلَآ(There is) nolāإِلَـٰهَgodilāhaإِلَّاexceptillāهُوَHimhuwaٱلْعَزِيزُthe All-Mightyl-ʿazīzuٱلْحَكِيمُthe All-Wisel-ḥakīmu٦
C’est Lui qui vous donne forme dans les matrices, comme Il veut. Point de divinité à part Lui, le Puissant, le Sage.
3:7
هُوَHehuwaٱلَّذِىٓ(is) the One Whoalladhīأَنزَلَrevealedanzalaعَلَيْكَto youʿalaykaٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaمِنْهُof itmin'huءَايَـٰتٌۭ(are) Versesāyātunمُّحْكَمَـٰتٌabsolutely clear muḥ'kamātunهُنَّthey (are)hunnaأُمُّthe foundationummuٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(of) the Bookl-kitābiوَأُخَرُand otherswa-ukharuمُتَشَـٰبِهَـٰتٌۭ ۖ(are) allegoricalmutashābihātunفَأَمَّاThen as forfa-ammāٱلَّذِينَthosealladhīnaفِىinfīقُلُوبِهِمْtheir heartsqulūbihimزَيْغٌۭ(is) perversity zayghunفَيَتَّبِعُونَ[so] they followfayattabiʿūnaمَاwhatmāتَشَـٰبَهَ(is) allegoricaltashābahaمِنْهُof itmin'huٱبْتِغَآءَseekingib'tighāaٱلْفِتْنَةِ[the] discordl-fit'natiوَٱبْتِغَآءَand seekingwa-ib'tighāaتَأْوِيلِهِۦ ۗits interpretationtawīlihiوَمَاAnd notwamāيَعْلَمُknowsyaʿlamuتَأْوِيلَهُۥٓits interpretationtawīlahuإِلَّاexceptillāٱللَّهُ ۗAllahl-lahuوَٱلرَّٰسِخُونَAnd those firmwal-rāsikhūnaفِىinfīٱلْعِلْمِ[the] knowledgel-ʿil'miيَقُولُونَthey sayyaqūlūnaءَامَنَّاWe believeāmannāبِهِۦin itbihiكُلٌّۭAllkullunمِّنْ(is)minعِندِfromʿindiرَبِّنَا ۗour LordrabbināوَمَاAnd notwamāيَذَّكَّرُwill take heedyadhakkaruإِلَّآexceptillāأُو۟لُوا۟menulūٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ(of) understandingl-albābi٧
C’est Lui qui a fait descendre sur toi le Livre: il s’y trouve des versets sans équivoque, qui sont la base du Livre, et d’autres versets qui peuvent prêter à d’interprétations diverses. Les gens, donc, qui ont au cœur une inclinaison vers l’égarement, mettent l’accent sur les versets à équivoque, cherchant la dissension en essayant de leur trouver une interprétation, alors que nul n’en connaît l’interprétation, à part Allah. Mais ceux qui sont bien enracinés dans la science disent : "Nous y croyons : tout est de la part de notre Seigneur !" Mais, seuls les doués d’intelligence s’en rappellent.
3:8
رَبَّنَاOur Lordrabbanāلَا(Do) notlāتُزِغْdeviatetuzighقُلُوبَنَاour heartsqulūbanāبَعْدَafterbaʿdaإِذْ[when]idhهَدَيْتَنَاYou (have) guided ushadaytanāوَهَبْand grantwahabلَنَا(for) uslanāمِنfromminلَّدُنكَYourselfladunkaرَحْمَةً ۚmercyraḥmatanإِنَّكَIndeed YouinnakaأَنتَYouantaٱلْوَهَّابُ(are) the Bestowerl-wahābu٨
"Seigneur ! Ne laisse pas dévier nos cœurs après que Tu nous aies guidés; et accorde-nous Ta miséricorde. C’est Toi, certes, le Grand Donateur !
3:9
رَبَّنَآOur LordrabbanāإِنَّكَIndeed, Youinnakaجَامِعُwill gatherjāmiʿuٱلنَّاسِ[the] mankindl-nāsiلِيَوْمٍۢon a Dayliyawminلَّا(there is) nolāرَيْبَdoubtraybaفِيهِ ۚin itfīhiإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَا(does) notlāيُخْلِفُbreakyukh'lifuٱلْمِيعَادَthe Promisel-mīʿāda٩
Seigneur! C’est Toi qui rassembleras les gens en un Jour au sujet duquel il n’y a aucun doute. Allah, vraiment, ne manque jamais à Sa promesse. ”
3:10
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelieve[d]kafarūلَنneverlanتُغْنِىَwill availtugh'niyaعَنْهُمْ[for] themʿanhumأَمْوَٰلُهُمْtheir wealthamwāluhumوَلَآand notwalāأَوْلَـٰدُهُمtheir childrenawlāduhumمِّنَagainstminaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiشَيْـًۭٔا ۖanythingshayanوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَand those wa-ulāikaهُمْthey (are)humوَقُودُ(the) fuelwaqūduٱلنَّارِ(for) the Firel-nāri١٠
Ceux qui ne croient pas, ni leurs biens ni leurs enfants ne les mettront aucunement à l’abri de la punition d’Allah. Ils seront du combustible pour le Feu,
3:11
كَدَأْبِLike behaviorkadabiءَالِ(of the) peopleāliفِرْعَوْنَ(of) Firaunfir'ʿawnaوَٱلَّذِينَand those whowa-alladhīnaمِن(were) fromminقَبْلِهِمْ ۚbefore themqablihimكَذَّبُوا۟They deniedkadhabūبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاOur Signsbiāyātināفَأَخَذَهُمُso seized themfa-akhadhahumuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuبِذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗfor their sinsbidhunūbihimوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuشَدِيدُ(is) severeshadīduٱلْعِقَابِ(in) [the] punishmentl-ʿiqābi١١
comme le gens de Pharaon et ceux qui vécurent avant eux. Ils avaient traité de mensonges Nos signes. Allah les saisit donc, pour leurs péchés. Et Allah est dur en punition.
3:12
قُلSayqulلِّلَّذِينَto those wholilladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelieve[d]kafarūسَتُغْلَبُونَYou will be overcomesatugh'labūnaوَتُحْشَرُونَand you will be gatheredwatuḥ'sharūnaإِلَىٰtoilāجَهَنَّمَ ۚHelljahannamaوَبِئْسَ[and] an evilwabi'saٱلْمِهَادُ[the] resting placel-mihādu١٢
Dis à ceux qui ne croient pas : "Vous serez vaincus bientôt; et vous serez rassemblés vers l’Enfer. Et quel mauvais endroit pour se reposer !"
3:13
قَدْSurelyqadكَانَit waskānaلَكُمْfor youlakumءَايَةٌۭa signāyatunفِىinfīفِئَتَيْنِ(the) two hostsfi-atayniٱلْتَقَتَا ۖwhich met l-taqatāفِئَةٌۭone groupfi-atunتُقَـٰتِلُfightingtuqātiluفِىinfīسَبِيلِ(the) waysabīliٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَأُخْرَىٰand anotherwa-ukh'rāكَافِرَةٌۭdisbelieverskāfiratunيَرَوْنَهُمThey were seeing themyarawnahumمِّثْلَيْهِمْtwice of themmith'layhimرَأْىَwith the sightrayaٱلْعَيْنِ ۚ(of) their eyesl-ʿayniوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuيُؤَيِّدُsupportsyu-ayyiduبِنَصْرِهِۦwith His helpbinaṣrihiمَنwhommanيَشَآءُ ۗHe willsyashāuإِنَّIndeedinnaفِىinfīذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaلَعِبْرَةًۭsurely (is) a lessonlaʿib'ratanلِّأُو۟لِىfor the ownersli-ulīٱلْأَبْصَـٰرِ(of) visionl-abṣāri١٣
Il y eut déjà pour vous un signe dans ces deux troupes qui s’affrontèrent: l’une combattait dans le sentier d’Allah; et l’autre, était mécréante. Ces derniers voyaient (les croyants) de leurs propres yeux, deux fois plus nombreux qu’eux-mêmes. Or Allah secourt qui Il veut de Son aide. Voilà bien là un exemple pour les doués de clairvoyance !
3:14
زُيِّنَBeautifiedzuyyinaلِلنَّاسِfor mankindlilnnāsiحُبُّ(is) loveḥubbuٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ(of) the (things they) desire l-shahawātiمِنَofminaٱلنِّسَآءِ[the] womenl-nisāiوَٱلْبَنِينَand [the] sonswal-banīnaوَٱلْقَنَـٰطِيرِand [the] heapswal-qanāṭīriٱلْمُقَنطَرَةِ[the] stored upl-muqanṭaratiمِنَofminaٱلذَّهَبِ[the] goldl-dhahabiوَٱلْفِضَّةِand [the] silverwal-fiḍatiوَٱلْخَيْلِand [the] horseswal-khayliٱلْمُسَوَّمَةِ[the] brandedl-musawamatiوَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِand [the] cattlewal-anʿāmiوَٱلْحَرْثِ ۗand [the] tilled landwal-ḥarthiذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaمَتَـٰعُ(is) provisionmatāʿuٱلْحَيَوٰةِ(of) lifel-ḥayatiٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ(of) the worldl-dun'yāوَٱللَّهُbut Allah wal-lahuعِندَهُۥwith Himʿindahuحُسْنُ(is an) excellentḥus'nuٱلْمَـَٔابِ[the] abode to returnl-maābi١٤
On a enjolivé aux gens l’amour des choses qu’ils désirent: femmes, enfants, trésors thésaurisés d’or et d’argent, chevaux marqués, bétail et champs; tout cela est l’objet de jouissance pour la vie présente, alors que c’est auprès d’Allah qu’il y a bon retour.
3:15
۞ قُلْSayqulأَؤُنَبِّئُكُمShall I inform youa-unabbi-ukumبِخَيْرٍۢof betterbikhayrinمِّنthanminذَٰلِكُمْ ۚthatdhālikumلِلَّذِينَFor those wholilladhīnaٱتَّقَوْا۟fear[ed]ittaqawعِندَwithʿindaرَبِّهِمْtheir Lordrabbihimجَنَّـٰتٌۭ(are) Gardensjannātunتَجْرِىflowstajrīمِنfromminتَحْتِهَاunderneath themtaḥtihāٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ[the] rivers l-anhāruخَـٰلِدِينَabiding foreverkhālidīnaفِيهَاin itfīhāوَأَزْوَٰجٌۭand spouseswa-azwājunمُّطَهَّرَةٌۭpuremuṭahharatunوَرِضْوَٰنٌۭand approvalwariḍ'wānunمِّنَfromminaٱللَّهِ ۗAllahl-lahiوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuبَصِيرٌۢ(is) All-Seerbaṣīrunبِٱلْعِبَادِof (His) slavesbil-ʿibādi١٥
Dis : "Puis-je vous apprendre quelque chose de meilleur que tout cela? Pour les pieux, il y a, auprès de leur Seigneur, des jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux, pour y demeurer éternellement, et aussi, des épouses purifiées, et l’agrément d’Allah ." Et Allah est Clairvoyant sur [Ses] serviteurs,
3:16
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaيَقُولُونَsayyaqūlūnaرَبَّنَآOur LordrabbanāإِنَّنَآIndeed, weinnanāءَامَنَّا(have) believedāmannāفَٱغْفِرْso forgivefa-igh'firلَنَاfor uslanāذُنُوبَنَاour sinsdhunūbanāوَقِنَاand save uswaqināعَذَابَ(from) punishmentʿadhābaٱلنَّارِ(of) the Firel-nāri١٦
ceux qui disent: “Ô notre Seigneur ! Nous avons foi; pardonne-nous donc nos péchés, et protège-nous du châtiment du Feu !”,
3:17
ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَThe patiental-ṣābirīnaوَٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَand the truthfulwal-ṣādiqīnaوَٱلْقَـٰنِتِينَand the obedientwal-qānitīnaوَٱلْمُنفِقِينَand those who spendwal-munfiqīnaوَٱلْمُسْتَغْفِرِينَand those who seek forgivenesswal-mus'taghfirīnaبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ[in the] before dawnbil-asḥāri١٧
ce sont, les endurants, les véridiques, les obéissants, ceux qui dépensent [dans le sentier d’Allah] et ceux qui implorent pardon juste avant l’aube.
3:18
شَهِدَBears witnessshahidaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuأَنَّهُۥthat [He]annahuلَآ(there is) nolāإِلَـٰهَgodilāhaإِلَّاexceptillāهُوَHimhuwaوَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُand (so do) the Angelswal-malāikatuوَأُو۟لُوا۟and ownerswa-ulūٱلْعِلْمِ(of) [the] knowledge l-ʿil'miقَآئِمًۢاstandingqāimanبِٱلْقِسْطِ ۚin justicebil-qis'ṭiلَآ(There is) nolāإِلَـٰهَgodilāhaإِلَّاexceptillāهُوَHimhuwaٱلْعَزِيزُthe All-Mightyl-ʿazīzuٱلْحَكِيمُthe All-Wisel-ḥakīmu١٨
Allah atteste, et aussi les Anges et les doués de science, qu’il n’y a point de divinité à part Lui, le Mainteneur de la justice. Point de divinité à part Lui, le Puissant, le Sage !
3:19
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلدِّينَthe religionl-dīnaعِندَnearʿindaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiٱلْإِسْلَـٰمُ ۗ(is) Islaml-is'lāmuوَمَاAnd notwamāٱخْتَلَفَdifferedikh'talafaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaأُوتُوا۟were givenūtūٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaإِلَّاexceptillāمِنۢfromminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiمَا[what]māجَآءَهُمُcame to themjāahumuٱلْعِلْمُ[the] knowledgel-ʿil'muبَغْيًۢاout of envybaghyanبَيْنَهُمْ ۗamong thembaynahumوَمَنAnd whoeverwamanيَكْفُرْdisbelievesyakfurبِـَٔايَـٰتِin (the) Versesbiāyātiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiفَإِنَّthen indeedfa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaسَرِيعُ(is) swiftsarīʿuٱلْحِسَابِ(in taking) accountl-ḥisābi١٩
Certes, la religion acceptée d’Allah, c’est l’Islam. Ceux auxquels le Livre a été apporté ne se sont disputés, par agressivité entre eux, qu’après avoir reçu la science. Et quiconque ne croit pas aux signes d’Allah... alors Allah est prompt à demander compte!
3:20
فَإِنْThen iffa-inحَآجُّوكَthey argue with youḥājjūkaفَقُلْthen sayfaqulأَسْلَمْتُI have submittedaslamtuوَجْهِىَmyselfwajhiyaلِلَّهِto Allahlillahiوَمَنِand (those) whowamaniٱتَّبَعَنِ ۗfollow meittabaʿaniوَقُلAnd saywaqulلِّلَّذِينَto those wholilladhīnaأُوتُوا۟were givenūtūٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaوَٱلْأُمِّيِّـۧنَand the unlettered peoplewal-umiyīnaءَأَسْلَمْتُمْ ۚHave you submitted yourselvesa-aslamtumفَإِنْThen iffa-inأَسْلَمُوا۟they submitaslamūفَقَدِthen surelyfaqadiٱهْتَدَوا۟ ۖthey are guidedih'tadawوَّإِنBut ifwa-inتَوَلَّوْا۟they turn backtawallawفَإِنَّمَاthen onlyfa-innamāعَلَيْكَon youʿalaykaٱلْبَلَـٰغُ ۗ(is) to [the] conveyl-balāghuوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuبَصِيرٌۢ(is) All-Seerbaṣīrunبِٱلْعِبَادِof [His] slavesbil-ʿibādi٢٠
S’ils te contredisent, dis leur: "Je me suis entièrement soumis à Allah, moi et ceux qui m’ont suivi". Et dis à ceux à qui le Livre a été donné, ainsi qu’aux illettrés: "Avez-vous embrassé l’islam?" S’ils embrassent l’islam, ils seront bien guidés. Mais, s’ils tournent le dos... Ton devoir n’est que la transmission [du message]. Allah, sur [Ses] serviteurs est Clairvoyant.
3:21
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaيَكْفُرُونَdisbelieveyakfurūnaبِـَٔايَـٰتِin (the) Signs (of)biāyātiٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَيَقْتُلُونَand they killwayaqtulūnaٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَthe Prophetsl-nabiyīnaبِغَيْرِwithoutbighayriحَقٍّۢrightḥaqqinوَيَقْتُلُونَand they killwayaqtulūnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaيَأْمُرُونَorderyamurūnaبِٱلْقِسْطِ[with] justicebil-qis'ṭiمِنَamongminaٱلنَّاسِthe peoplel-nāsiفَبَشِّرْهُمthen give them tidingsfabashir'humبِعَذَابٍof a punishmentbiʿadhābinأَلِيمٍpainfulalīmin٢١
Ceux qui ne croient pas aux signes d’Allah, tuent sans droit les Prophètes et tuent les gens qui commandent la justice, annonce-leur un châtiment douloureux.
3:22
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَThoseulāikaٱلَّذِينَ(are) the ones who alladhīnaحَبِطَتْbecame worthlessḥabiṭatأَعْمَـٰلُهُمْtheir deedsaʿmāluhumفِىinfīٱلدُّنْيَاthe worldl-dun'yāوَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِand (in) the Hereafterwal-ākhiratiوَمَاAnd notwamāلَهُم(will be) for themlahumمِّنanyminنَّـٰصِرِينَhelpersnāṣirīna٢٢
Ce sont eux dont les œuvres sont devenues vaines, ici-bas comme dans l’au- delà. Et pour eux, pas de secoureurs !
3:23
أَلَمْHave notalamتَرَyou seentaraإِلَى[to]ilāٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaأُوتُوا۟were givenūtūنَصِيبًۭاa portionnaṣībanمِّنَofminaٱلْكِتَـٰبِthe Scripturel-kitābiيُدْعَوْنَThey are invitedyud'ʿawnaإِلَىٰtoilāكِتَـٰبِ(the) Bookkitābiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiلِيَحْكُمَthat (it should) arbitrateliyaḥkumaبَيْنَهُمْbetween thembaynahumثُمَّthenthummaيَتَوَلَّىٰturns awayyatawallāفَرِيقٌۭa partyfarīqunمِّنْهُمْof themmin'humوَهُمand they (are)wahumمُّعْرِضُونَthose who are aversemuʿ'riḍūna٢٣
N’as-tu pas vu comment agissent ceux qui ont reçu une part du Livre, et qui sont maintenant invités au Livre d’Allah pour trancher leurs différends; comment un groupe des leurs tourne le dos et s’esquive ?
3:24
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaبِأَنَّهُمْ(is) because theybi-annahumقَالُوا۟sayqālūلَنNeverlanتَمَسَّنَاwill touch ustamassanāٱلنَّارُthe Firel-nāruإِلَّآexceptillāأَيَّامًۭا(for) daysayyāmanمَّعْدُودَٰتٍۢ ۖnumberedmaʿdūdātinوَغَرَّهُمْAnd deceived themwagharrahumفِىinfīدِينِهِمtheir religiondīnihimمَّاwhatmāكَانُوا۟they werekānūيَفْتَرُونَinventingyaftarūna٢٤
C’est parce qu’ils disent : "Le Feu ne nous touchera que pour un nombre de jours déterminés." Et leurs mensonges les trompent en religion.
3:25
فَكَيْفَThen how (will it be)fakayfaإِذَاwhenidhāجَمَعْنَـٰهُمْWe will gather themjamaʿnāhumلِيَوْمٍۢon a Day liyawminلَّاnolāرَيْبَdoubtraybaفِيهِin itfīhiوَوُفِّيَتْAnd will be paid in fullwawuffiyatكُلُّeverykulluنَفْسٍۢsoulnafsinمَّاwhatmāكَسَبَتْit earnedkasabatوَهُمْand theywahumلَا(will) notlāيُظْلَمُونَbe wrongedyuẓ'lamūna٢٥
Eh bien comment seront-ils, quand Nous les aurons rassemblés, en un Jour sur quoi il n’y aucun doute, et que chaque âme sera pleinement rétribuée selon ce qu’elle aura acquis ? Et ils ne seront point lésés.
3:26
قُلِSayquliٱللَّهُمَّO Allahl-lahumaمَـٰلِكَOwnermālikaٱلْمُلْكِ(of) the Dominionl-mul'kiتُؤْتِىYou givetu'tīٱلْمُلْكَthe dominionl-mul'kaمَن(to) whommanتَشَآءُYou willtashāuوَتَنزِعُand You take awaywatanziʿuٱلْمُلْكَthe dominionl-mul'kaمِمَّنfrom whommimmanتَشَآءُYou willtashāuوَتُعِزُّand You honorwatuʿizzuمَنwhommanتَشَآءُYou willtashāuوَتُذِلُّand You humiliatewatudhilluمَنwhommanتَشَآءُ ۖYou willtashāuبِيَدِكَIn Your handbiyadikaٱلْخَيْرُ ۖ(is all) the goodl-khayruإِنَّكَIndeed, Youinnakaعَلَىٰ(are) onʿalāكُلِّeverykulliشَىْءٍۢthingshayinقَدِيرٌۭAll-Powerfulqadīrun٢٦
Dis: “Ô Allah! Maître de l’autorité absolue. Tu donnes l’autorité à qui Tu veux, et Tu arraches l’autorité à qui Tu veux; et Tu donnes la puissance à qui Tu veux, et Tu humilies qui Tu veux. Le bien est en Ta main et Tu es Omnipotent.
3:27
تُولِجُYou cause to entertūlijuٱلَّيْلَthe nightal-laylaفِىinfīٱلنَّهَارِthe dayl-nahāriوَتُولِجُand You cause to enterwatūlijuٱلنَّهَارَthe dayl-nahāraفِىinfīٱلَّيْلِ ۖthe nightal-layliوَتُخْرِجُand You bring forthwatukh'rijuٱلْحَىَّthe livingl-ḥayaمِنَfromminaٱلْمَيِّتِthe deadl-mayitiوَتُخْرِجُand You bring forthwatukh'rijuٱلْمَيِّتَthe deadl-mayitaمِنَfromminaٱلْحَىِّ ۖthe livingl-ḥayiوَتَرْزُقُand You give provisionwatarzuquمَن(to) whommanتَشَآءُYou willtashāuبِغَيْرِwithoutbighayriحِسَابٍۢmeasureḥisābin٢٧
Tu fais pénétrer la nuit dans le jour, et Tu fais pénétrer le jour dans la nuit, et Tu fais sortir le vivant du mort, et Tu fais sortir le mort du vivant. Et Tu accordes attribution à qui Tu veux, sans compter."
3:28
لَّا(Let) notlāيَتَّخِذِtakeyattakhidhiٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَthe believersl-mu'minūnaٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَthe disbelieversl-kāfirīnaأَوْلِيَآءَ(as) alliesawliyāaمِنfromminدُونِinstead ofdūniٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۖthe believersl-mu'minīnaوَمَنAnd whoeverwamanيَفْعَلْdoesyafʿalذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaفَلَيْسَthen not he (has)falaysaمِنَfromminaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiفِىinfīشَىْءٍanythingshayinإِلَّآexceptillāأَنthatanتَتَّقُوا۟you feartattaqūمِنْهُمْfrom themmin'humتُقَىٰةًۭ ۗ(as) a precautiontuqātanوَيُحَذِّرُكُمُAnd warns youwayuḥadhirukumuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuنَفْسَهُۥ ۗ(of) Himselfnafsahuوَإِلَىand towa-ilāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiٱلْمَصِيرُ(is) the final returnl-maṣīru٢٨
Que les croyants ne prennent pas, pour alliés, des infidèles, au lieu de croyants. Quiconque le fait contredit la religion d’Allah, à moins que vous ne cherchiez à vous protéger d’eux. Allah vous met en garde à l’égard de Lui-même. Et c’est à Allah le retour.
3:29
قُلْSayqulإِنWhetherinتُخْفُوا۟you concealtukh'fūمَاwhatmāفِى(is) infīصُدُورِكُمْyour breastsṣudūrikumأَوْorawتُبْدُوهُyou disclose it tub'dūhuيَعْلَمْهُknows ityaʿlamhuٱللَّهُ ۗAllahl-lahuوَيَعْلَمُAnd He knowswayaʿlamuمَاwhatmāفِى(is) infīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَمَاand whatwamāفِى(is) infīٱلْأَرْضِ ۗthe earthl-arḍiوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuعَلَىٰ(is) onʿalāكُلِّeverykulliشَىْءٍۢthingshayinقَدِيرٌۭAll-Powerfulqadīrun٢٩
Dis : "Que vous cachiez ce qui est dans vos poitrines ou bien vous le divulguiez, Allah le sait. Il connaît tout ce qui est dans les cieux et sur la terre. Et Allah est Omnipotent ."
3:30
يَوْمَ(On the) dayyawmaتَجِدُwill findtajiduكُلُّeverykulluنَفْسٍۢsoulnafsinمَّاwhatmāعَمِلَتْit didʿamilatمِنْofminخَيْرٍۢgood khayrinمُّحْضَرًۭاpresentedmuḥ'ḍaranوَمَاand whatwamāعَمِلَتْit didʿamilatمِنofminسُوٓءٍۢevilsūinتَوَدُّit will wishtawadduلَوْ[if]lawأَنَّthatannaبَيْنَهَاbetween itselfbaynahāوَبَيْنَهُۥٓand between it (evil)wabaynahuأَمَدًۢا(was) a distanceamadanبَعِيدًۭا ۗgreatbaʿīdanوَيُحَذِّرُكُمُAnd warns youwayuḥadhirukumuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuنَفْسَهُۥ ۗ(against) Himselfnafsahuوَٱللَّهُand Allahwal-lahuرَءُوفٌۢ(is) Most Kindraūfunبِٱلْعِبَادِto (His) [the] slavesbil-ʿibādi٣٠
Le jour où chaque âme se trouvera confrontée avec ce qu’elle aura fait de bien et ce qu’elle aura fait de mal; elle souhaitera qu’il y ait entre elle et ce mal une longue distance! Allah vous met en garde à l’égard de Lui-même. Allah est Compatissant envers [Ses] serviteurs.
3:31
قُلْSayqulإِنIfinكُنتُمْyoukuntumتُحِبُّونَlovetuḥibbūnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaفَٱتَّبِعُونِىthen follow mefa-ittabiʿūnīيُحْبِبْكُمُwill love youyuḥ'bib'kumuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuوَيَغْفِرْand He will forgivewayaghfirلَكُمْfor youlakumذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗyour sinsdhunūbakumوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuغَفُورٌۭ(is) Oft-ForgivingghafūrunرَّحِيمٌۭMost Mercifulraḥīmun٣١
Dis : "Si vous aimez vraiment Allah, suivez-moi, Allah vous aimera alors et vous pardonnera vos péchés. Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.
3:32
قُلْSayqulأَطِيعُوا۟ObeyaṭīʿūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaوَٱلرَّسُولَ ۖand the Messengerwal-rasūlaفَإِنThen iffa-inتَوَلَّوْا۟they turn away tawallawفَإِنَّthen indeedfa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَا(does) notlāيُحِبُّloveyuḥibbuٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَthe disbelieversl-kāfirīna٣٢
Dis : "Obéissez à Allah et au Messager. Et si vous tournez le dos... Alors Allah n’aime pas les infidèles !"
3:33
۞ إِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaٱصْطَفَىٰٓchoseiṣ'ṭafāءَادَمَAdamādamaوَنُوحًۭاand Nuhwanūḥanوَءَالَand (the) familywaālaإِبْرَٰهِيمَ(of) Ibrahimib'rāhīmaوَءَالَand (the) familywaālaعِمْرَٰنَ(of) Imranʿim'rānaعَلَىoverʿalāٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَthe worldsl-ʿālamīna٣٣
Certes, Allah a élu Adam, Noé, la famille d’Abraham et la famille d’Imrân au-dessus de tout le monde.
3:34
ذُرِّيَّةًۢDescendentsdhurriyyatanبَعْضُهَاsome of thembaʿḍuhāمِنۢfromminبَعْضٍۢ ۗothersbaʿḍinوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuسَمِيعٌ(is) All-HearingsamīʿunعَلِيمٌAll-Knowingʿalīmun٣٤
En tant que descendants les uns des autres, et Allah est Audient et Omniscient.
3:35
إِذْWhenidhقَالَتِ[she] saidqālatiٱمْرَأَتُ(the) wifeim'ra-atuعِمْرَٰنَ(of) Imranʿim'rānaرَبِّMy LordrabbiإِنِّىIndeed, Iinnīنَذَرْتُ[I] vowednadhartuلَكَto Youlakaمَاwhatmāفِى(is) infīبَطْنِىmy wombbaṭnīمُحَرَّرًۭاdedicatedmuḥarraranفَتَقَبَّلْso acceptfataqabbalمِنِّىٓ ۖfrom meminnīإِنَّكَIndeed, YouinnakaأَنتَYouantaٱلسَّمِيعُ(are) the All-Hearingl-samīʿuٱلْعَلِيمُthe All-Knowingl-ʿalīmu٣٥
(Rappelle-toi) quand la femme d’Imrân dit : "Seigneur, je T’ai voué en toute exclusivité ce qui est dans mon ventre. Accepte-le donc de moi ! C’est Toi, certes, l’Audient et l’Omniscient."
3:36
فَلَمَّاThen whenfalammāوَضَعَتْهَاshe delivered herwaḍaʿathāقَالَتْshe saidqālatرَبِّMy Lordrabbiإِنِّىindeed Iinnīوَضَعْتُهَآ[I] (have) delivered [her]waḍaʿtuhāأُنثَىٰa femaleunthāوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuأَعْلَمُknows betteraʿlamuبِمَا[of] whatbimāوَضَعَتْshe deliveredwaḍaʿatوَلَيْسَand is notwalaysaٱلذَّكَرُthe malel-dhakaruكَٱلْأُنثَىٰ ۖlike the femalekal-unthāوَإِنِّىAnd that Iwa-innīسَمَّيْتُهَا[I] (have) named hersammaytuhāمَرْيَمَMaryammaryamaوَإِنِّىٓand that Iwa-innīأُعِيذُهَا[I] seek refuge for heruʿīdhuhāبِكَin Youbikaوَذُرِّيَّتَهَاand her offspringwadhurriyyatahāمِنَfromminaٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِthe Shaitaanl-shayṭāniٱلرَّجِيمِthe rejectedl-rajīmi٣٦
Puis, lorsqu’elle en eut accouché, elle dit : "Seigneur ! Voilà que j’ai accouché d’une fille." Or, Allah savait mieux ce dont elle avait accouché! Le garçon n’est pas comme la fille. "Je l’ai nommée Marie, et je la place, ainsi que sa descendance, sous Ta protection contre le Diable, le banni ."
3:37
فَتَقَبَّلَهَاSo accepted herfataqabbalahāرَبُّهَاher Lordrabbuhāبِقَبُولٍwith acceptancebiqabūlinحَسَنٍۢgoodḥasaninوَأَنۢبَتَهَاand reared her wa-anbatahāنَبَاتًاa rearingnabātanحَسَنًۭاgoodḥasananوَكَفَّلَهَاand put her in (the) carewakaffalahāزَكَرِيَّا ۖ(of) ZakariyazakariyyāكُلَّمَاWheneverkullamāدَخَلَentereddakhalaعَلَيْهَاupon herʿalayhāزَكَرِيَّاZakariyazakariyyāٱلْمِحْرَابَ[the] prayer chamberl-miḥ'rābaوَجَدَhe foundwajadaعِندَهَاwith herʿindahāرِزْقًۭا ۖprovisionriz'qanقَالَHe saidqālaيَـٰمَرْيَمُO MaryamyāmaryamuأَنَّىٰFrom whereannāلَكِfor youlakiهَـٰذَا ۖ(is) thishādhāقَالَتْShe saidqālatهُوَThishuwaمِنْ(is)minعِندِfromʿindiٱللَّهِ ۖAllahl-lahiإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيَرْزُقُgives provisionyarzuquمَن(to) whommanيَشَآءُHe willsyashāuبِغَيْرِwithoutbighayriحِسَابٍmeasureḥisābin٣٧
Son Seigneur l’agréa alors du bon agrément, la fit croître en belle croissance. Et Il en confia la garde à Zacharie . Chaque fois que celui-ci entrait auprès d’elle dans le Sanctuaire, il trouvait près d’elle de la nourriture. Il dit : “Ô Marie! D’où te vient cette nourriture? ” - Elle dit : “Cela me vient d’Allah.” Certes, Il donne la nourriture à qui Il veut sans compter.
3:38
هُنَالِكَThere onlyhunālikaدَعَاinvokeddaʿāزَكَرِيَّاZakariyazakariyyāرَبَّهُۥ ۖhis Lordrabbahuقَالَhe saidqālaرَبِّMy Lordrabbiهَبْgranthabلِى[for] melīمِنfromminلَّدُنكَYourselfladunkaذُرِّيَّةًۭoffspringdhurriyyatanطَيِّبَةً ۖpureṭayyibatanإِنَّكَIndeed, Youinnakaسَمِيعُ(are) All-Hearersamīʿuٱلدُّعَآءِ(of) the prayerl-duʿāi٣٨
Alors, Zacharie pria son Seigneur, et dit : “Ô mon Seigneur! Donne-moi, venant de Toi, une excellente descendance. Car Tu es Celui qui entend bien la prière.”
3:39
فَنَادَتْهُThen called himfanādathuٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُthe Angelsl-malāikatuوَهُوَwhen hewahuwaقَآئِمٌۭ(was) standing qāimunيُصَلِّىprayingyuṣallīفِىinfīٱلْمِحْرَابِthe prayer chamberl-miḥ'rābiأَنَّIndeedannaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيُبَشِّرُكَgives you glad tidingsyubashirukaبِيَحْيَىٰof Yahyabiyaḥyāمُصَدِّقًۢاconfirmingmuṣaddiqanبِكَلِمَةٍۢ[of] a WordbikalimatinمِّنَfromminaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَسَيِّدًۭاand a noblewasayyidanوَحَصُورًۭاand chastewaḥaṣūranوَنَبِيًّۭاand a Prophetwanabiyyanمِّنَamongminaٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَthe righteousl-ṣāliḥīna٣٩
Alors, les Anges l’appelèrent pendant que, debout, il priait dans le Sanctuaire : "Voilà qu’Allah t’annonce la naissance de Jean, confirmateur d’une parole d’Allah . Il sera un chef, un chaste, un prophète et du nombre des gens de bien."
3:40
قَالَHe saidqālaرَبِّMy Lordrabbiأَنَّىٰhowannāيَكُونُcan (there) beyakūnuلِىfor melīغُلَـٰمٌۭa songhulāmunوَقَدْand verilywaqadبَلَغَنِىَhas reached mebalaghaniyaٱلْكِبَرُ[the] old agel-kibaruوَٱمْرَأَتِىand my wifewa-im'ra-atīعَاقِرٌۭ ۖ(is) [a] barrenʿāqirunقَالَHe saidqālaكَذَٰلِكَThuskadhālikaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuيَفْعَلُdoesyafʿaluمَاwhatmāيَشَآءُHe willsyashāu٤٠
Il dit : "Ô mon Seigneur ! Comment aurais-je un garçon maintenant que la vieillesse m’a atteint et que ma femme est stérile ?" Allah dit : "Comme cela !", Allah fait ce qu’Il veut.
3:41
قَالَHe saidqālaرَبِّMy Lordrabbiٱجْعَلmakeij'ʿalلِّىٓfor melīءَايَةًۭ ۖa signāyatanقَالَHe saidqālaءَايَتُكَyour signāyatukaأَلَّا(is) that notallāتُكَلِّمَyou will speaktukallimaٱلنَّاسَ(to) the peoplel-nāsaثَلَـٰثَةَ(for) threethalāthataأَيَّامٍdaysayyāminإِلَّاexceptillāرَمْزًۭا ۗ(with) gesturesramzanوَٱذْكُرAnd rememberwa-udh'kurرَّبَّكَyour Lordrabbakaكَثِيرًۭاmuchkathīranوَسَبِّحْand glorify (Him)wasabbiḥبِٱلْعَشِىِّin the eveningbil-ʿashiyiوَٱلْإِبْكَـٰرِand (in) the morningwal-ib'kāri٤١
"Seigneur, dit Zacharie, donne-moi un signe !" - "Ton signe, dit Allah, c’est que pendant trois jours tu ne pourras parler aux gens que par gestes. Invoque [donc] beaucoup Ton Seigneur et glorifie-Le, en fin et en début de journée."
3:42
وَإِذْAnd whenwa-idhقَالَتِsaidqālatiٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُthe Angelsl-malāikatuيَـٰمَرْيَمُO MaryamyāmaryamuإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaٱصْطَفَىٰكِ(has) chosen youiṣ'ṭafākiوَطَهَّرَكِand purified youwaṭahharakiوَٱصْطَفَىٰكِand chosen youwa-iṣ'ṭafākiعَلَىٰoverʿalāنِسَآءِ(the) womennisāiٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ(of) the worldsl-ʿālamīna٤٢
Et (Rappelle-toi) quand les Anges dirent : "Ô Marie ! Certes, Allah t’a élue et purifiée; et Il t’a élue au-dessus des femmes des mondes."
3:43
يَـٰمَرْيَمُO MaryamyāmaryamuٱقْنُتِىBe obedientuq'nutīلِرَبِّكِto your Lordlirabbikiوَٱسْجُدِىand prostratewa-us'judīوَٱرْكَعِىand bow downwa-ir'kaʿīمَعَwithmaʿaٱلرَّٰكِعِينَthose who bow downl-rākiʿīna٤٣
"Ô Marie ! Obéis à Ton Seigneur, prosterne-toi, et incline-toi avec ceux qui s’inclinent :".
3:44
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaمِنْ(is) fromminأَنۢبَآءِ(the) newsanbāiٱلْغَيْبِ(of) the unseen l-ghaybiنُوحِيهِWe reveal itnūḥīhiإِلَيْكَ ۚto youilaykaوَمَاAnd notwamāكُنتَyou werekuntaلَدَيْهِمْwith themladayhimإِذْwhenidhيُلْقُونَthey castyul'qūnaأَقْلَـٰمَهُمْtheir pensaqlāmahumأَيُّهُمْ(as to) which of themayyuhumيَكْفُلُtakes charge (of)yakfuluمَرْيَمَMaryammaryamaوَمَاand notwamāكُنتَyou werekuntaلَدَيْهِمْwith themladayhimإِذْwhenidhيَخْتَصِمُونَthey (were) disputingyakhtaṣimūna٤٤
Ce sont là des nouvelles de l’Inconnaissable que Nous te révélons. Car tu n’étais pas là lorsqu’ils jetaient leurs calames [et tiraient au sort] pour décider qui se chargerait de Marie ! Tu n’étais pas là non plus lorsqu’ils se disputaient .
3:45
إِذْWhenidhقَالَتِsaidqālatiٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُthe Angelsl-malāikatuيَـٰمَرْيَمُO MaryamyāmaryamuإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيُبَشِّرُكِgives you glad tidingsyubashirukiبِكَلِمَةٍۢof a wordbikalimatinمِّنْهُfrom Himmin'huٱسْمُهُhis nameus'muhuٱلْمَسِيحُ(is) the Messiahl-masīḥuعِيسَىIsaʿīsāٱبْنُsonub'nuمَرْيَمَ(of) Maryammaryamaوَجِيهًۭاhonoredwajīhanفِىinfīٱلدُّنْيَاthe worldl-dun'yāوَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِand (in) the Hereafterwal-ākhiratiوَمِنَand ofwaminaٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَthose brought near (to Allah)l-muqarabīna٤٥
(Rappelle-toi,) quand les Anges dirent : “Ô Marie! Voilà qu’Allah t’annonce une parole de Sa part: son nom sera le Messie (Al-Masîḥ) Jésus ('Issâ), fils de Marie, illustre ici-bas comme dans l’au-delà, et l’un des rapprochés d’Allah .
3:46
وَيُكَلِّمُAnd he will speakwayukallimuٱلنَّاسَ(to) the peoplel-nāsaفِىinfīٱلْمَهْدِthe cradlel-mahdiوَكَهْلًۭاand (in) maturitywakahlanوَمِنَand (he will be) ofwaminaٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَthe righteousl-ṣāliḥīna٤٦
Il parlera aux gens, dans le berceau et en son âge mûr et il sera du nombre des gens de bien."
3:47
قَالَتْShe saidqālatرَبِّMy Lordrabbiأَنَّىٰhowannāيَكُونُis [it]yakūnuلِىfor melīوَلَدٌۭa boywaladunوَلَمْand (has) notwalamيَمْسَسْنِىtouch(ed) meyamsasnīبَشَرٌۭ ۖany manbasharunقَالَHe saidqālaكَذَٰلِكِThuskadhālikiٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuيَخْلُقُcreatesyakhluquمَاwhatmāيَشَآءُ ۚHe willsyashāuإِذَاWhenidhāقَضَىٰٓHe decreesqaḍāأَمْرًۭاa matteramranفَإِنَّمَاthen onlyfa-innamāيَقُولُHe saysyaqūluلَهُۥto itlahuكُنBekunفَيَكُونُand it becomesfayakūnu٤٧
Elle dit : "Seigneur ! Comment aurais-je un enfant, alors qu’aucun homme ne m’a touchée ?" - "C’est ainsi !" dit-Il. Allah crée ce qu’Il veut. Quand Il décide d’une chose, Il lui dit seulement : "Sois !"; et elle est aussitôt.
3:48
وَيُعَلِّمُهُAnd He will teach himwayuʿallimuhuٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaوَٱلْحِكْمَةَand [the] wisdomwal-ḥik'mataوَٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَand the Tauratwal-tawrātaوَٱلْإِنجِيلَand the Injeelwal-injīla٤٨
"Et (Allah) lui enseignera l’écriture, la sagesse, la Thora et l’Évangile,
3:49
وَرَسُولًاAnd (make him) a Messengerwarasūlanإِلَىٰtoilāبَنِىٓ(the) Childrenbanīإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ(of) Israelis'rāīlaأَنِّىIndeed, Iannīقَدْ[surely]qadجِئْتُكُم[I] (have) come (to) youji'tukumبِـَٔايَةٍۢwith a signbiāyatinمِّنfromminرَّبِّكُمْ ۖyour Lordrabbikumأَنِّىٓthat Iannīأَخْلُقُ[I] designakhluquلَكُمfor youlakumمِّنَfromminaٱلطِّينِ[the] clayl-ṭīniكَهَيْـَٔةِlike the formkahayatiٱلطَّيْرِ(of) the birdl-ṭayriفَأَنفُخُthen I breathfa-anfukhuفِيهِinto itfīhiفَيَكُونُand it becomesfayakūnuطَيْرًۢاa birdṭayranبِإِذْنِby (the) permissionbi-idh'niٱللَّهِ ۖ(of) Allahl-lahiوَأُبْرِئُAnd I curewa-ub'ri-uٱلْأَكْمَهَthe blindl-akmahaوَٱلْأَبْرَصَand the leperwal-abraṣaوَأُحْىِand I give lifewa-uḥ'yīٱلْمَوْتَىٰ(to) the deadl-mawtāبِإِذْنِby (the) permissionbi-idh'niٱللَّهِ ۖ(of) Allahl-lahiوَأُنَبِّئُكُمAnd I inform youwa-unabbi-ukumبِمَاof whatbimāتَأْكُلُونَyou eattakulūnaوَمَاand whatwamāتَدَّخِرُونَyou storetaddakhirūnaفِىinfīبُيُوتِكُمْ ۚyour housesbuyūtikumإِنَّIndeedinnaفِىinfīذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaلَـَٔايَةًۭ(is) surely a signlaāyatanلَّكُمْfor youlakumإِنifinكُنتُمyou arekuntumمُّؤْمِنِينَbelieversmu'minīna٤٩
et Il sera le Messager aux enfants d’Israël, [et leur dira] : "En vérité, je viens à vous avec un signe de la part de votre Seigneur. Pour vous, je forme de la glaise comme la figure d’un oiseau, puis je souffle dedans: et, par la permission d’Allah, cela devient un oiseau. Et je guéris l’aveugle-né et le lépreux, et je ressuscite les morts, par la permission d’Allah. Et je vous apprends ce que vous mangez et ce que vous amassez dans vos maisons. Voilà bien là un signe, pour vous, si vous êtes croyants !
3:50
وَمُصَدِّقًۭاAnd confirmingwamuṣaddiqanلِّمَاthat whichlimāبَيْنَ(was)baynaيَدَىَّbefore meyadayyaمِنَofminaٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِthe Tauratl-tawrātiوَلِأُحِلَّand so that I make lawfulwali-uḥillaلَكُمfor youlakumبَعْضَsomebaʿḍaٱلَّذِى(of) that whichalladhīحُرِّمَwas forbiddenḥurrimaعَلَيْكُمْ ۚto youʿalaykumوَجِئْتُكُمAnd I (have) come to youwaji'tukumبِـَٔايَةٍۢwith a signbiāyatinمِّنfromminرَّبِّكُمْyour Lordrabbikumفَٱتَّقُوا۟So fearfa-ittaqūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaوَأَطِيعُونِand obey mewa-aṭīʿūni٥٠
Et je confirme ce qu’il y a dans la Thora révélée avant moi, et je vous rends licite une partie de ce qui était interdit. Et j’ai certes apporté un signe de votre Seigneur. Craignez Allah donc, et obéissez-moi !
3:51
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaرَبِّى(is) my Lordrabbīوَرَبُّكُمْand your Lordwarabbukumفَٱعْبُدُوهُ ۗso worship Himfa-uʿ'budūhuهَـٰذَاThishādhāصِرَٰطٌۭ(is) the pathṣirāṭunمُّسْتَقِيمٌۭstraightmus'taqīmun٥١
Allah est mon Seigneur et votre Seigneur. Adorez-Le donc ! Voilà le chemin droit."
3:52
۞ فَلَمَّآThen whenfalammāأَحَسَّperceivedaḥassaعِيسَىٰIsaʿīsāمِنْهُمُfrom themmin'humuٱلْكُفْرَ[the] disbeliefl-kuf'raقَالَhe saidqālaمَنْWhomanأَنصَارِىٓ(will be) my helpersanṣārīإِلَىtoilāٱللَّهِ ۖAllahl-lahiقَالَSaidqālaٱلْحَوَارِيُّونَthe disciplesl-ḥawāriyūnaنَحْنُWenaḥnuأَنصَارُ(will be the) helpersanṣāruٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiءَامَنَّاwe believe[d]āmannāبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiوَٱشْهَدْand bear witnesswa-ish'hadبِأَنَّاthat webi-annāمُسْلِمُونَ(are) Muslimsmus'limūna٥٢
Puis, quand Jésus ressentit de l’incrédulité de leur part, il dit: “Qui sont mes partisans dans la voie d’Allah ? ” Les apôtres dirent: “Nous sommes les partisans d’Allah. Nous croyons en Allah. Et sois témoin que nous Lui sommes soumis !
3:53
رَبَّنَآOur Lordrabbanāءَامَنَّاwe believe[d]āmannāبِمَآin whatbimāأَنزَلْتَYou revealedanzaltaوَٱتَّبَعْنَاand we follow[ed]wa-ittabaʿnāٱلرَّسُولَthe Messengerl-rasūlaفَٱكْتُبْنَاthen write usfa-uk'tub'nāمَعَamongmaʿaٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَthe witnessesl-shāhidīna٥٣
Seigneur! Nous avons cru à ce que Tu as fait descendre et suivi le Messager. Inscris-nous donc parmi ceux qui témoignent !"
3:54
وَمَكَرُوا۟And they schemedwamakarūوَمَكَرَand plannedwamakaraٱللَّهُ ۖAllahl-lahuوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuخَيْرُ(is the) bestkhayruٱلْمَـٰكِرِينَ(of) the plannersl-mākirīna٥٤
Et ils [les autres] se mirent à comploter. Et Allah déjoua leur complot. Et Allah est le meilleur pour déjouer les complots .
3:55
إِذْWhenidhقَالَsaidqālaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuيَـٰعِيسَىٰٓO IsayāʿīsāإِنِّىIndeed, Iinnīمُتَوَفِّيكَ(will) take youmutawaffīkaوَرَافِعُكَand raise youwarāfiʿukaإِلَىَّto Myselfilayyaوَمُطَهِّرُكَand purify youwamuṭahhirukaمِنَfromminaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelieve[d]kafarūوَجَاعِلُand I will makewajāʿiluٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaٱتَّبَعُوكَfollow[ed] youittabaʿūkaفَوْقَsuperiorfawqaٱلَّذِينَ(to) those whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوٓا۟disbelieve[d]kafarūإِلَىٰonilāيَوْمِ(the) Dayyawmiٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۖ(of) [the] Resurrectionl-qiyāmatiثُمَّThenthummaإِلَىَّto Meilayyaمَرْجِعُكُمْ(is) your returnmarjiʿukumفَأَحْكُمُand I will judgefa-aḥkumuبَيْنَكُمْbetween youbaynakumفِيمَاabout whatfīmāكُنتُمْyou werekuntumفِيهِ[in it]fīhiتَخْتَلِفُونَdifferingtakhtalifūna٥٥
(Rappelle-toi) quand Allah dit : “Ô Jésus ! Certes, Je vais mettre fin à ta vie terrestre, t’élever vers Moi, te débarrasser de ceux qui n’ont pas cru et mettre jusqu’au Jour de la Résurrection, ceux qui te suivent au-dessus de ceux qui ne croient pas. Puis, c’est vers Moi que sera votre retour, et Je jugerai, entre vous, ce sur quoi vous divergiez.
3:56
فَأَمَّاThen as forfa-ammāٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelieve[d]kafarūفَأُعَذِّبُهُمْthen I will punish themfa-uʿadhibuhumعَذَابًۭا(with) a punishmentʿadhābanشَدِيدًۭاsevereshadīdanفِىinfīٱلدُّنْيَاthe worldl-dun'yāوَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِand (in) the Hereafterwal-ākhiratiوَمَاAnd notwamāلَهُمfor themlahumمِّنanyminنَّـٰصِرِينَhelpersnāṣirīna٥٦
Quant à ceux qui n’ont pas cru, Je les châtierai d’un dur châtiment, ici-bas tout comme dans l’au-delà; et pour eux pas de secoureurs."
3:57
وَأَمَّاAnd as forwa-ammāٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believe[d]āmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and didwaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ[the] righteous deedsl-ṣāliḥātiفَيُوَفِّيهِمْthen He will grant them in fullfayuwaffīhimأُجُورَهُمْ ۗtheir rewardujūrahumوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuلَا(does) notlāيُحِبُّloveyuḥibbuٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَthe wrongdoersl-ẓālimīna٥٧
Et quant à ceux qui auront cru et fait de bonnes œuvres, Il leur donnera leurs récompenses. Et Allah n’aime pas les injustes.
3:58
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaنَتْلُوهُ(is what) We recite [it]natlūhuعَلَيْكَto youʿalaykaمِنَofminaٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِthe Versesl-āyātiوَٱلذِّكْرِand the Reminder wal-dhik'riٱلْحَكِيمِ[the] Wisel-ḥakīmi٥٨
Voilà ce que Nous te récitons des versets et du sage rappel.
3:59
إِنَّIndeedinnaمَثَلَ(the) likenessmathalaعِيسَىٰ(of) IsaʿīsāعِندَnearʿindaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiكَمَثَلِ(is) like (the) likenesskamathaliءَادَمَ ۖ(of) AdamādamaخَلَقَهُۥHe created himkhalaqahuمِنfromminتُرَابٍۢdustturābinثُمَّthenthummaقَالَHe saidqālaلَهُۥto himlahuكُنBekunفَيَكُونُand he wasfayakūnu٥٩
Pour Allah, Jésus est comme Adam qu’Il créa de poussière, puis Il lui a dit : "Sois !", et il fut.
3:60
ٱلْحَقُّThe truthal-ḥaquمِن(is) fromminرَّبِّكَyour Lordrabbikaفَلَاso (do) notfalāتَكُنbetakunمِّنَamongminaٱلْمُمْتَرِينَthe doubtersl-mum'tarīna٦٠
La vérité vient de ton Seigneur. Ne sois donc pas du nombre des sceptiques.
3:61
فَمَنْThen whoeverfamanحَآجَّكَargues (with) youḥājjakaفِيهِconcerning itfīhiمِنۢfromminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiمَاwhatmāجَآءَكَcame to youjāakaمِنَofminaٱلْعِلْمِthe knowledgel-ʿil'miفَقُلْthen sayfaqulتَعَالَوْا۟Cometaʿālawنَدْعُlet us callnadʿuأَبْنَآءَنَاour sonsabnāanāوَأَبْنَآءَكُمْand your sonswa-abnāakumوَنِسَآءَنَاand our womenwanisāanāوَنِسَآءَكُمْand your womenwanisāakumوَأَنفُسَنَاand ourselveswa-anfusanāوَأَنفُسَكُمْand yourselveswa-anfusakumثُمَّthenthummaنَبْتَهِلْlet us pray humblynabtahilفَنَجْعَلand [we] invokefanajʿalلَّعْنَتَthe curselaʿnataٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiعَلَىonʿalāٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَthe liarsl-kādhibīna٦١
A ceux qui te contredisent à son propos, maintenant que tu en es bien informé, tu n’as qu’à dire : "Venez ! Appelons nos fils et les vôtres, nos femmes et les vôtres, nos propres personnes et les vôtres, puis proférons exécration réciproque en appelant la malédiction d’Allah sur les menteurs ."
3:62
إِنَّIndeedinnaهَـٰذَاthishādhāلَهُوَsurely it (is)lahuwaٱلْقَصَصُthe narration l-qaṣaṣuٱلْحَقُّ ۚ[the] truel-ḥaquوَمَاAnd (there is) nowamāمِنْ(of)minإِلَـٰهٍgodilāhinإِلَّاexceptillāٱللَّهُ ۚAllahl-lahuوَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَهُوَsurely Helahuwaٱلْعَزِيزُ(is) the All-Mightyl-ʿazīzuٱلْحَكِيمُthe All-Wisel-ḥakīmu٦٢
Voilà, certes, le récit véridique. Et il n’y a pas de divinité à part Allah. En vérité, c’est Allah qui est le Puissant, le Sage.
3:63
فَإِنAnd iffa-inتَوَلَّوْا۟they turn backtawallawفَإِنَّthen indeedfa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaعَلِيمٌۢ(is) All-Knowingʿalīmunبِٱلْمُفْسِدِينَof the corruptersbil-muf'sidīna٦٣
Si donc ils tournent le dos... alors Allah connaît bien les semeurs de corruption !
3:64
قُلْSayqulيَـٰٓأَهْلَO Peopleyāahlaٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(of) the Bookl-kitābiتَعَالَوْا۟Cometaʿālawإِلَىٰtoilāكَلِمَةٍۢa wordkalimatinسَوَآءٍۭequitablesawāinبَيْنَنَاbetween usbaynanāوَبَيْنَكُمْand between you wabaynakumأَلَّاthat notallāنَعْبُدَwe worshipnaʿbudaإِلَّاexceptillāٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaوَلَاand notwalāنُشْرِكَwe associate partnersnush'rikaبِهِۦwith Him bihiشَيْـًۭٔاanythingshayanوَلَاand notwalāيَتَّخِذَtakeyattakhidhaبَعْضُنَاsome of usbaʿḍunāبَعْضًا(to) othersbaʿḍanأَرْبَابًۭا(as) lordsarbābanمِّنfromminدُونِbesidesdūniٱللَّهِ ۚAllahl-lahiفَإِنThen iffa-inتَوَلَّوْا۟they turn awaytawallawفَقُولُوا۟then sayfaqūlūٱشْهَدُوا۟Bear witnessish'hadūبِأَنَّاthat webi-annāمُسْلِمُونَ(are) Muslimsmus'limūna٦٤
Dis : "Ô gens du Livre ! Venez à une parole commune entre nous et vous: que nous n’adorions qu’Allah, sans rien Lui associer, et que nous ne prenions point les uns les autres pour seigneurs en dehors d’Allah." Puis, s’ils tournent le dos, dîtes : "Soyez témoins que nous, nous sommes soumis."
3:65
يَـٰٓأَهْلَO Peopleyāahlaٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(of) the Bookl-kitābiلِمَWhylimaتُحَآجُّونَ(do) you arguetuḥājjūnaفِىٓconcerningfīإِبْرَٰهِيمَIbrahimib'rāhīmaوَمَآwhile notwamāأُنزِلَتِwas revealedunzilatiٱلتَّوْرَىٰةُthe Tauratl-tawrātuوَٱلْإِنجِيلُand the Injeelwal-injīluإِلَّاexceptillāمِنۢfromminبَعْدِهِۦٓ ۚafter himbaʿdihiأَفَلَاThen why don'tafalāتَعْقِلُونَyou use your intellecttaʿqilūna٦٥
Ô gens du Livre ! Pourquoi disputez-vous au sujet d’Abraham, alors que la Thora et l’Évangile,ne sont descendus qu’après lui ? Ne raisonnez-vous donc pas ?
3:66
هَـٰٓأَنتُمْHere you are hāantumهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِthose whohāulāiحَـٰجَجْتُمْarguedḥājajtumفِيمَاabout whatfīmāلَكُم[for] youlakumبِهِۦof itbihiعِلْمٌۭ(have some) knowledgeʿil'munفَلِمَThen whyfalimaتُحَآجُّونَ(do) you arguetuḥājjūnaفِيمَاabout whatfīmāلَيْسَnotlaysaلَكُمfor youlakumبِهِۦof itbihiعِلْمٌۭ ۚ(any) knowledgeʿil'munوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuيَعْلَمُknowsyaʿlamuوَأَنتُمْwhile youwa-antumلَا(do) notlāتَعْلَمُونَknowtaʿlamūna٦٦
Vous avez bel et bien disputé à propos d’une chose dont vous avez connaissance. Mais pourquoi disputez-vous des choses dont vous n’avez pas connaissance? Or, Allah sait tandis que vous ne savez pas.
3:67
مَاNotmāكَانَwaskānaإِبْرَٰهِيمُIbrahimib'rāhīmuيَهُودِيًّۭاa Jewyahūdiyyanوَلَاand notwalāنَصْرَانِيًّۭاa Christiannaṣrāniyyanوَلَـٰكِن[and] butwalākinكَانَhe waskānaحَنِيفًۭاa trueḥanīfanمُّسْلِمًۭاMuslimmus'limanوَمَاand notwamāكَانَhe waskānaمِنَfromminaٱلْمُشْرِكِينَthe polytheistsl-mush'rikīna٦٧
Abraham n’était ni Juif ni Chrétien. Mais, il était entièrement soumis à Allah (Musulman). Et il n’était point du nombre des polythéistes .
3:68
إِنَّIndeedinnaأَوْلَىthe best to claim relationshipawlāٱلنَّاسِ(of) peoplel-nāsiبِإِبْرَٰهِيمَwith Ibrahimbi-ib'rāhīmaلَلَّذِينَ(are) those wholalladhīnaٱتَّبَعُوهُfollow himittabaʿūhuوَهَـٰذَاand thiswahādhāٱلنَّبِىُّ[the] Prophetl-nabiyuوَٱلَّذِينَand those whowa-alladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟ ۗbelieve[d]āmanūوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuوَلِىُّ(is) a Guardianwaliyyuٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ(of) the believersl-mu'minīna٦٨
Certes, les hommes les plus dignes de se réclamer d’Abraham, sont ceux qui l’ont suivi, ainsi que ce Prophète-ci, et ceux qui ont la foi. Et Allah est l’allié des croyants .
3:69
وَدَّتWishedwaddatطَّآئِفَةٌۭa groupṭāifatunمِّنْfromminأَهْلِ(the) Peopleahliٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(of) the Bookl-kitābiلَوْiflawيُضِلُّونَكُمْthey could lead you astrayyuḍillūnakumوَمَاand notwamāيُضِلُّونَthey lead astrayyuḍillūnaإِلَّآexceptillāأَنفُسَهُمْthemselvesanfusahumوَمَاand notwamāيَشْعُرُونَthey perceiveyashʿurūna٦٩
Une partie des gens du Livre aurait bien voulu vous égarer. Or, ils n’égarent qu’eux-mêmes; et ils n’en sont pas conscients.
3:70
يَـٰٓأَهْلَO Peopleyāahlaٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(of) the Bookl-kitābiلِمَWhy dolimaتَكْفُرُونَyou denytakfurūnaبِـَٔايَـٰتِ[in] the Signsbiāyātiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَأَنتُمْwhile youwa-antumتَشْهَدُونَbear witnesstashhadūna٧٠
Ô gens du Livre ! Pourquoi ne croyez-vous pas aux versets d’Allah (le Coran), alors que vous [en] êtes témoins ?
3:71
يَـٰٓأَهْلَO Peopleyāahlaٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(of) the Bookl-kitābiلِمَWhylimaتَلْبِسُونَdo you mixtalbisūnaٱلْحَقَّthe truthl-ḥaqaبِٱلْبَـٰطِلِwith the falsehoodbil-bāṭiliوَتَكْتُمُونَand concealwataktumūnaٱلْحَقَّthe truthl-ḥaqaوَأَنتُمْwhile youwa-antumتَعْلَمُونَknowtaʿlamūna٧١
Ô gens du Livre ! Pourquoi mêlez-vous le faux au vrai et cachez- vous sciemment la vérité ?
3:72
وَقَالَتAnd saidwaqālatطَّآئِفَةٌۭa groupṭāifatunمِّنْofminأَهْلِ(the) Peopleahliٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(of) the Bookl-kitābiءَامِنُوا۟Believeāminūبِٱلَّذِىٓin whatbi-alladhīأُنزِلَwas revealedunzilaعَلَىonʿalāٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believe[d]āmanūوَجْهَ(at the) beginningwajhaٱلنَّهَارِ(of) the dayl-nahāriوَٱكْفُرُوٓا۟and rejectwa-uk'furūءَاخِرَهُۥ(at) its endākhirahuلَعَلَّهُمْperhaps they maylaʿallahumيَرْجِعُونَreturnyarjiʿūna٧٢
Ainsi dit une partie des gens du Livre : "Au début du jour, croyez à ce qui a été révélé aux Musulmans, mais, à la fin du jour, rejetez-le, afin qu’ils retournent (à leur ancienne religion).
3:73
وَلَاAnd (do) notwalāتُؤْمِنُوٓا۟believetu'minūإِلَّاexceptillāلِمَن(the one) wholimanتَبِعَfollowstabiʿaدِينَكُمْyour religiondīnakumقُلْSayqulإِنَّIndeedinnaٱلْهُدَىٰthe (true) guidancel-hudāهُدَى(is the) Guidancehudāٱللَّهِ(of) Allah l-lahiأَنlestanيُؤْتَىٰٓis givenyu'tāأَحَدٌۭ(to) one aḥadunمِّثْلَ(the) likemith'laمَآ(of) whatmāأُوتِيتُمْwas given to youūtītumأَوْorawيُحَآجُّوكُمْthey may argue with youyuḥājjūkumعِندَnearʿindaرَبِّكُمْ ۗyour LordrabbikumقُلْSayqulإِنَّIndeedinnaٱلْفَضْلَthe Bountyl-faḍlaبِيَدِ(is) in the Handbiyadiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiيُؤْتِيهِHe gives ityu'tīhiمَن(to) whommanيَشَآءُ ۗHe willsyashāuوَٱللَّهُand Allahwal-lahuوَٰسِعٌ(is) All-EncompassingwāsiʿunعَلِيمٌۭAll-Knowingʿalīmun٧٣
[Les gens du Livre disent à leur coreligionnaires] : "Et ne croyez que ceux qui suivent votre religion..." Dis : "La vraie direction est la direction d’Allah" - [et ils disent encore: Vous ne devez ni approuver ni reconnaître] que quelqu’un d’autre que vous puisse recevoir comme ce que vous avez reçu de sorte qu’ils (les musulmans) ne puissent argumenter contre vous auprès de votre Seigneur. Dis[-leur] : En vérité la grâce est en la main d’Allah. Il la donne à qui Il veut. La grâce d’Allah est immense et Il est Omniscient.
3:74
يَخْتَصُّHe choosesyakhtaṣṣuبِرَحْمَتِهِۦfor His Mercybiraḥmatihiمَنwhommanيَشَآءُ ۗHe willsyashāuوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuذُو(is) the Possessordhūٱلْفَضْلِ(of) Bounty l-faḍliٱلْعَظِيمِ[the] greatl-ʿaẓīmi٧٤
Il réserve à qui Il veut Sa miséricorde. Et Allah est Détenteur de la grâce immense.
3:75
۞ وَمِنْAnd fromwaminأَهْلِ(the) Peopleahliٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(of) the Bookl-kitābiمَنْ(is he) whomanإِنifinتَأْمَنْهُyou entrust himtamanhuبِقِنطَارٍۢwith a great amount of wealthbiqinṭārinيُؤَدِّهِۦٓhe will return ityu-addihiإِلَيْكَto youilaykaوَمِنْهُمAnd from themwamin'humمَّنْ(is he) whomanإِنifinتَأْمَنْهُyou entrust himtamanhuبِدِينَارٍۢwith a single coinbidīnārinلَّاnotlāيُؤَدِّهِۦٓhe will return ityu-addihiإِلَيْكَto youilaykaإِلَّاexceptillāمَاthatmāدُمْتَyou keep constantlydum'taعَلَيْهِover himʿalayhiقَآئِمًۭا ۗstandingqāimanذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaبِأَنَّهُمْ(is) because theybi-annahumقَالُوا۟saidqālūلَيْسَNotlaysaعَلَيْنَاon usʿalaynāفِىconcerningfīٱلْأُمِّيِّـۧنَthe unlettered peoplel-umiyīnaسَبِيلٌۭany [way] (accountability)sabīlunوَيَقُولُونَAnd they saywayaqūlūnaعَلَىaboutʿalāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiٱلْكَذِبَthe liel-kadhibaوَهُمْwhile theywahumيَعْلَمُونَknowyaʿlamūna٧٥
Et parmi les gens du Livre, il y en a qui, si tu lui confies un quintal [d’or] te le rend. Mais, il y en a aussi qui, si tu lui confies un dinār, ne te le rendra que si tu l’y contrains sans relâche. Tout cela parce qu’ils disent: “Ces (Arabes) qui n’ont pas de livre n’ont aucun chemin pour nous contraindre.” Ils profèrent des mensonges contre Allah alors qu’ils savent.
3:76
بَلَىٰNaybalāمَنْwhoevermanأَوْفَىٰfulfillsawfāبِعَهْدِهِۦhis covenantbiʿahdihiوَٱتَّقَىٰand fears (Allah)wa-ittaqāفَإِنَّthen indeedfa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيُحِبُّlovesyuḥibbuٱلْمُتَّقِينَthose who fear (Him)l-mutaqīna٧٦
Au contraire, quiconque remplit sa promesse et craint Allah... Allah aime les pieux.
3:77
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaيَشْتَرُونَexchangeyashtarūnaبِعَهْدِ(the) Covenantbiʿahdiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَأَيْمَـٰنِهِمْand their oathswa-aymānihimثَمَنًۭا(for) a pricethamananقَلِيلًاlittleqalīlanأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthose ulāikaلَاnolāخَلَـٰقَsharekhalāqaلَهُمْfor themlahumفِىinfīٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِthe Hereafterl-ākhiratiوَلَاand notwalāيُكَلِّمُهُمُwill speak to themyukallimuhumuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuوَلَاand notwalāيَنظُرُlookyanẓuruإِلَيْهِمْat themilayhimيَوْمَ(on the) Dayyawmaٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrectionl-qiyāmatiوَلَاand notwalāيُزَكِّيهِمْpurify themyuzakkīhimوَلَهُمْand for themwalahumعَذَابٌ(is) a punishmentʿadhābunأَلِيمٌۭpainfulalīmun٧٧
Ceux qui vendent à vil prix leur engagement avec Allah ainsi que leurs serments n’auront aucune part dans l’au-delà, et Allah ne leur parlera pas, ni les regardera, au Jour de la Résurrection, ni ne les purifiera; et ils auront un châtiment douloureux.
3:78
وَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaمِنْهُمْamong themmin'humلَفَرِيقًۭاsurely (is) a group lafarīqanيَلْوُۥنَthey distortyalwūnaأَلْسِنَتَهُمtheir tonguesalsinatahumبِٱلْكِتَـٰبِin (reciting) the Bookbil-kitābiلِتَحْسَبُوهُso that you may think itlitaḥsabūhuمِنَ(is) fromminaٱلْكِتَـٰبِthe Bookl-kitābiوَمَاand notwamāهُوَithuwaمِنَ(is) fromminaٱلْكِتَـٰبِthe Bookl-kitābiوَيَقُولُونَAnd they saywayaqūlūnaهُوَIthuwaمِنْ(is)minعِندِfromʿindiٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَمَاBut notwamāهُوَithuwaمِنْ(is)minعِندِfromʿindiٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَيَقُولُونَAnd they saywayaqūlūnaعَلَىaboutʿalāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiٱلْكَذِبَthe liel-kadhibaوَهُمْwhile theywahumيَعْلَمُونَknowyaʿlamūna٧٨
Et il y a parmi eux certains qui roulent leur langues en lisant le Livre pour vous faire croire que cela provient du Livre, alors qu’il n’est point du Livre; et ils disent : "Ceci vient d’Allah", alors qu’il ne vient pas d’Allah. Et ils disent sciemment des mensonges contre Allah.
3:79
مَاNotmāكَانَiskānaلِبَشَرٍfor a humanlibasharinأَنthatanيُؤْتِيَهُgives himyu'tiyahuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaوَٱلْحُكْمَand the wisdomwal-ḥuk'maوَٱلنُّبُوَّةَand the Prophethoodwal-nubuwataثُمَّthenthummaيَقُولَhe saysyaqūlaلِلنَّاسِto the peoplelilnnāsiكُونُوا۟Bekūnūعِبَادًۭاworshippersʿibādanلِّىof melīمِنfromminدُونِbesidesdūniٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَلَـٰكِنbut (would say)walākinكُونُوا۟Bekūnūرَبَّـٰنِيِّـۧنَworshippers of the Lordrabbāniyyīnaبِمَاbecausebimāكُنتُمْyou have beenkuntumتُعَلِّمُونَteachingtuʿallimūnaٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaوَبِمَاand becausewabimāكُنتُمْyou have beenkuntumتَدْرُسُونَstudying (it)tadrusūna٧٩
Il ne convient pas à un être humain à qui Allah a donné le Livre, la Compréhension et la Prophétie, de dire ensuite aux gens: “Soyez mes adorateurs, à l’exclusion d’Allah.”; mais au contraire, [il devra dire]: “Devenez des savants (dévots), obéissant au Seigneur, puisque vous enseignez le Livre et vous l’étudiez”.
3:80
وَلَاAnd notwalāيَأْمُرَكُمْhe will order youyamurakumأَنthatanتَتَّخِذُوا۟you taketattakhidhūٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَthe Angelsl-malāikataوَٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَand the Prophetswal-nabiyīnaأَرْبَابًا ۗ(as) lordsarbābanأَيَأْمُرُكُمWould he order youayamurukumبِٱلْكُفْرِto [the] disbeliefbil-kuf'riبَعْدَafterbaʿdaإِذْ[when]idhأَنتُمyou (have become)antumمُّسْلِمُونَMuslimsmus'limūna٨٠
Et Il ne va pas vous recommander de prendre pour seigneurs les Anges et les Prophètes. Vous commanderait-il de rejeter la foi, après que vous êtes devenus Musulmans?
3:81
وَإِذْAnd whenwa-idhأَخَذَtookakhadhaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuمِيثَـٰقَcovenantmīthāqaٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ(of) the Prophetsl-nabiyīnaلَمَآCertainly, whateverlamāءَاتَيْتُكُمI (have) given youātaytukumمِّنofminكِتَـٰبٍۢ(the) Bookkitābinوَحِكْمَةٍۢand wisdomwaḥik'matinثُمَّthenthummaجَآءَكُمْcomes to youjāakumرَسُولٌۭa Messengerrasūlunمُّصَدِّقٌۭconfirmingmuṣaddiqunلِّمَاthat whichlimāمَعَكُمْ(is) with youmaʿakumلَتُؤْمِنُنَّyou must believelatu'minunnaبِهِۦin himbihiوَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُۥ ۚand you must help himwalatanṣurunnahuقَالَHe saidqālaءَأَقْرَرْتُمْDo you affirma-aqrartumوَأَخَذْتُمْand takewa-akhadhtumعَلَىٰonʿalāذَٰلِكُمْthat (condition)dhālikumإِصْرِى ۖMy Covenantiṣ'rīقَالُوٓا۟They saidqālūأَقْرَرْنَا ۚWe affirmaqrarnāقَالَHe saidqālaفَٱشْهَدُوا۟Then bear witnessfa-ish'hadūوَأَنَا۠and I (am)wa-anāمَعَكُمwith youmaʿakumمِّنَamongminaٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَthe witnessesl-shāhidīna٨١
Et lorsqu’Allah prit cet engagement des Prophètes: "Chaque fois que Je vous accorderai un Livre et de la Sagesse, et qu’ensuite un Messager vous viendra confirmer ce qui est avec vous, vous devez croire en lui, et vous devrez lui porter secours." Il leur dit : "Consentez-vous et acceptez-vous Mon pacte à cette condition ?" - "Nous consentons", dirent-ils. "Soyez-en donc témoins, dit Allah. Et Me voici, avec vous, parmi les témoins .
3:82
فَمَنThen whoeverfamanتَوَلَّىٰturns awaytawallāبَعْدَafterbaʿdaذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthen thosefa-ulāikaهُمُtheyhumuٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ(are) the defiantly disobedientl-fāsiqūna٨٢
"Quiconque ensuite tournera le dos... alors ce sont eux qui seront les pervers."
3:83
أَفَغَيْرَSo is (it) other thanafaghayraدِينِ(the) religiondīniٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiيَبْغُونَthey seekyabghūnaوَلَهُۥٓWhile to Himwalahuأَسْلَمَ(have) submittedaslamaمَنwhatevermanفِى(is) infīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِand the earthwal-arḍiطَوْعًۭاwillinglyṭawʿanوَكَرْهًۭاor unwillinglywakarhanوَإِلَيْهِand towards Himwa-ilayhiيُرْجَعُونَthey will be returnedyur'jaʿūna٨٣
Désirent-ils une autre religion que celle d’Allah, alors que se soumet à Lui, bon gré, mal gré, tout ce qui existe dans les cieux et sur terre, et que c’est vers Lui qu’ils seront ramenés ?
3:84
قُلْSayqulءَامَنَّاWe believedāmannāبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiوَمَآand whatwamāأُنزِلَ(is) revealedunzilaعَلَيْنَاon usʿalaynāوَمَآand whatwamāأُنزِلَwas revealedunzilaعَلَىٰٓonʿalāإِبْرَٰهِيمَIbrahimib'rāhīmaوَإِسْمَـٰعِيلَand Ishmaelwa-is'māʿīlaوَإِسْحَـٰقَand Isaacwa-is'ḥāqaوَيَعْقُوبَand Yaqubwayaʿqūbaوَٱلْأَسْبَاطِand the descendentswal-asbāṭiوَمَآand whatwamāأُوتِىَwas givenūtiyaمُوسَىٰ(to) Musamūsāوَعِيسَىٰand Isawaʿīsāوَٱلنَّبِيُّونَand the Prophetswal-nabiyūnaمِنfromminرَّبِّهِمْtheir LordrabbihimلَاNotlāنُفَرِّقُwe make distinctionnufarriquبَيْنَbetweenbaynaأَحَدٍۢanyaḥadinمِّنْهُمْof themmin'humوَنَحْنُand wewanaḥnuلَهُۥto Himlahuمُسْلِمُونَ(are) submissivemus'limūna٨٤
Dis : "Nous croyons en Allah, à ce qu’on a fait descendre sur nous, à ce qu’on a fait descendre sur Abraham, Ismaël, Isaac, Jacob et les Tribus, et à ce qui a été apporté à Moïse, à Jésus et aux Prophètes, de la part de leur Seigneur: nous ne faisons aucune différence entre eux; et c’est à Lui que nous sommes Soumis."
3:85
وَمَنAnd whoeverwamanيَبْتَغِseeksyabtaghiغَيْرَother thanghayraٱلْإِسْلَـٰمِ[the] Islaml-is'lāmiدِينًۭا(as) religiondīnanفَلَنthen neverfalanيُقْبَلَwill be acceptedyuq'balaمِنْهُfrom himmin'huوَهُوَand hewahuwaفِىinfīٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِthe Hereafterl-ākhiratiمِنَ(will be) fromminaٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَthe losersl-khāsirīna٨٥
Et quiconque désire une religion autre que l’islam, ne sera point agrée, et il sera, dans l’au-delà, parmi les perdants.
3:86
كَيْفَHowkayfaيَهْدِى(shall) guideyahdīٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuقَوْمًۭاa peopleqawmanكَفَرُوا۟(who) disbelievedkafarūبَعْدَafterbaʿdaإِيمَـٰنِهِمْtheir beliefīmānihimوَشَهِدُوٓا۟and (had) witnessedwashahidūأَنَّthatannaٱلرَّسُولَthe Messengerl-rasūlaحَقٌّۭ(is) trueḥaqqunوَجَآءَهُمُand came to themwajāahumuٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتُ ۚthe clear proofsl-bayinātuوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuلَا(does) notlāيَهْدِىguideyahdīٱلْقَوْمَthe peoplel-qawmaٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ[the] wrongdoersl-ẓālimīna٨٦
Comment Allah guiderait-Il des gens qui n’ont plus la foi après avoir cru et témoigné que le Messager est véridique, et après que les preuves (évidentes) leur sont venues ? Et Allah ne guide pas les gens injustes.
3:87
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَThose ulāikaجَزَآؤُهُمْtheir recompensejazāuhumأَنَّthatannaعَلَيْهِمْon themʿalayhimلَعْنَةَ(is the) curselaʿnataٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِand the Angelswal-malāikatiوَٱلنَّاسِand the peoplewal-nāsiأَجْمَعِينَall togetherajmaʿīna٨٧
Ceux-là, leur rétribution sera qu’ils auront sur eux la malédiction d’Allah, des Anges et de tous les êtres humains.
3:88
خَـٰلِدِينَ(They will) abide foreverkhālidīnaفِيهَاin itfīhāلَاNotlāيُخَفَّفُwill be lightenedyukhaffafuعَنْهُمُfor themʿanhumuٱلْعَذَابُthe punishmentl-ʿadhābuوَلَاand notwalāهُمْtheyhumيُنظَرُونَwill be reprievedyunẓarūna٨٨
Ils y demeureront éternellement. Le châtiment ne leur sera pas allégé, et ils n’auront aucun répit.
3:89
إِلَّاExceptillāٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaتَابُوا۟repenttābūمِنۢfromminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaوَأَصْلَحُوا۟and reform[ed] themselveswa-aṣlaḥūفَإِنَّThen indeedfa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaغَفُورٌۭ(is) Oft-ForgivingghafūrunرَّحِيمٌMost Mercifulraḥīmun٨٩
excepté ceux qui par la suite se repentiront et se réformeront: car Allah est certes Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.
3:90
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievedkafarūبَعْدَafterbaʿdaإِيمَـٰنِهِمْtheir beliefīmānihimثُمَّthenthummaٱزْدَادُوا۟they increasediz'dādūكُفْرًۭا(in) disbeliefkuf'ranلَّنneverlanتُقْبَلَwill be acceptedtuq'balaتَوْبَتُهُمْtheir repentancetawbatuhumوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَand those wa-ulāikaهُمُtheyhumuٱلضَّآلُّونَ(are) those who have gone astrayl-ḍālūna٩٠
En vérité, ceux qui ne croient plus après avoir eu la foi, et laissent augmenter encore leur mécréance, leur repentir ne sera jamais accepté. Ceux-là sont vraiment les égarés.
3:91
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelieve[d]kafarūوَمَاتُوا۟and diedwamātūوَهُمْwhile theywahumكُفَّارٌۭ(are) disbelieverskuffārunفَلَنthen neverfalanيُقْبَلَwill be acceptedyuq'balaمِنْfromminأَحَدِهِمany one of themaḥadihimمِّلْءُfullmil'uٱلْأَرْضِearthl-arḍiذَهَبًۭا(of) golddhahabanوَلَوِ[and] (even) ifwalawiٱفْتَدَىٰhe offered as ransomif'tadāبِهِۦٓ ۗitbihiأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَThose ulāikaلَهُمْfor themlahumعَذَابٌ(is) a punishmentʿadhābunأَلِيمٌۭpainfulalīmunوَمَاand notwamāلَهُم(will be) for themlahumمِّنanyminنَّـٰصِرِينَhelpersnāṣirīna٩١
Ceux qui ne croient pas et qui meurent mécréants, il ne sera jamais accepté d’aucun d’eux de se racheter même si pour cela il (donnait) le contenu, en or, de la terre. Ils auront un châtiment douloureux, et ils n’auront point de secoureurs.
3:92
لَنNeverlanتَنَالُوا۟will you attaintanālūٱلْبِرَّ[the] righteousnessl-biraحَتَّىٰuntilḥattāتُنفِقُوا۟you spendtunfiqūمِمَّاfrom whatmimmāتُحِبُّونَ ۚyou lovetuḥibbūnaوَمَاAnd whateverwamāتُنفِقُوا۟you spendtunfiqūمِنofminشَىْءٍۢa thingshayinفَإِنَّthen indeedfa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaبِهِۦof itbihiعَلِيمٌۭ(is) All-Knowingʿalīmun٩٢
Vous n’atteindrez la (vraie) piété que si vous faites largesses de ce que vous chérissez. Tout ce dont vous faites largesses, Allah le sait certainement bien.
3:93
۞ كُلُّAllkulluٱلطَّعَامِ[the] foodl-ṭaʿāmiكَانَwaskānaحِلًّۭاlawfulḥillanلِّبَنِىٓfor (the) Childrenlibanīإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ(of) Israelis'rāīlaإِلَّاexceptillāمَاwhatmāحَرَّمَmade unlawfulḥarramaإِسْرَٰٓءِيلُIsraelis'rāīluعَلَىٰuponʿalāنَفْسِهِۦhimselfnafsihiمِنfromminقَبْلِbeforeqabliأَن[that]anتُنَزَّلَ(was) revealedtunazzalaٱلتَّوْرَىٰةُ ۗthe Tauratl-tawrātuقُلْSayqulفَأْتُوا۟So bringfatūبِٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِthe Tauratbil-tawrātiفَٱتْلُوهَآand recite itfa-it'lūhāإِنifinكُنتُمْyou arekuntumصَـٰدِقِينَtruthfulṣādiqīna٩٣
Toute nourriture était licite aux enfants d’Israël, sauf celle qu’Israël [Jacob] lui-même s’interdit avant que ne descendit la Thora. Dis [-leur] : “Apportez la Thora et lisez-la, si vous êtes véridiques ! ”
3:94
فَمَنِThen whoeverfamaniٱفْتَرَىٰfabricatesif'tarāعَلَىaboutʿalāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiٱلْكَذِبَ[the] liel-kadhibaمِنۢfromminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthen those fa-ulāikaهُمُtheyhumuٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ(are) the wrongdoersl-ẓālimūna٩٤
Donc, quiconque, après cela, forge des mensonges contre Allah... ceux-là sont, donc, les vrais injustes.
3:95
قُلْSayqulصَدَقَ(has) spoken the truthṣadaqaٱللَّهُ ۗAllahl-lahuفَٱتَّبِعُوا۟then followfa-ittabiʿūمِلَّةَ(the) religionmillataإِبْرَٰهِيمَ(of) Ibrahimib'rāhīmaحَنِيفًۭا(the) uprightḥanīfanوَمَاand notwamāكَانَhe waskānaمِنَofminaٱلْمُشْرِكِينَthe polytheistsl-mush'rikīna٩٥
Dis : “C’est Allah qui dit la vérité. Suivez donc la religion d’Abraham, musulman droit. Et il n’était point [du nombre] des polythéistes.”
3:96
إِنَّIndeedinnaأَوَّلَ(the) FirstawwalaبَيْتٍۢHousebaytinوُضِعَset upwuḍiʿaلِلنَّاسِfor the mankindlilnnāsiلَلَّذِى(is) the one whichlalladhīبِبَكَّةَ(is) at Bakkahbibakkataمُبَارَكًۭاblessedmubārakanوَهُدًۭىand a guidancewahudanلِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَfor the worldslil'ʿālamīna٩٦
La première Maison qui a été édifiée pour les gens, c’est bien celle de Bakkah (La Mecque) bénie et une bonne direction pour l’univers.
3:97
فِيهِIn itfīhiءَايَـٰتٌۢ(are) signsāyātunبَيِّنَـٰتٌۭclearbayyinātunمَّقَامُstanding placemaqāmuإِبْرَٰهِيمَ ۖ(of) Ibrahimib'rāhīmaوَمَنand whoeverwamanدَخَلَهُۥenters it dakhalahuكَانَiskānaءَامِنًۭا ۗsafeāminanوَلِلَّهِAnd (due) to Allahwalillahiعَلَىuponʿalāٱلنَّاسِthe mankindl-nāsiحِجُّ(is) pilgrimageḥijjuٱلْبَيْتِ(of) the Housel-baytiمَنِ(for one) whomaniٱسْتَطَاعَis ableis'taṭāʿaإِلَيْهِto [it]ilayhiسَبِيلًۭا ۚ(find) a waysabīlanوَمَنAnd whoeverwamanكَفَرَdisbelievedkafaraفَإِنَّthen indeedfa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaغَنِىٌّ(is) free from needghaniyyunعَنِofʿaniٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَthe universel-ʿālamīna٩٧
Là sont des signes évidents, parmi lesquels l’endroit où Abraham s’est tenu debout; et quiconque y entre est en sécurité. Et c’est un devoir envers Allah pour les gens qui [en] ont les moyens, d’aller faire le pèlerinage de la Maison. Et quiconque ne croit pas... Allah Se passe largement des mondes .
3:98
قُلْSayqulيَـٰٓأَهْلَO Peopleyāahlaٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(of) the Bookl-kitābiلِمَWhylimaتَكْفُرُونَ(do) you disbelievetakfurūnaبِـَٔايَـٰتِin (the) Versesbiāyātiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَٱللَّهُwhile Allahwal-lahuشَهِيدٌ(is) a Witnessshahīdunعَلَىٰoverʿalāمَاwhatmāتَعْمَلُونَyou dotaʿmalūna٩٨
Dis: "ô gens du Livre, pourquoi ne croyez-vous pas aux versets d’Allah (al-Qur˓ān), alors qu’Allah est témoin de ce que vous faites?"
3:99
قُلْSayqulيَـٰٓأَهْلَO Peopleyāahlaٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(of) the Bookl-kitābiلِمَWhylimaتَصُدُّونَ(do) you hindertaṣuddūnaعَنfromʿanسَبِيلِ(the) waysabīliٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiمَنْ(those) whomanءَامَنَbelieve[d]āmanaتَبْغُونَهَاseeking (to make) ittabghūnahāعِوَجًۭا(seem) crookedʿiwajanوَأَنتُمْwhile youwa-antumشُهَدَآءُ ۗ(are) witnessesshuhadāuوَمَاAnd notwamāٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuبِغَـٰفِلٍ(is) unawarebighāfilinعَمَّاof whatʿammāتَعْمَلُونَyou dotaʿmalūna٩٩
Dis : "Ô gens du Livre ! Pourquoi obstruez-vous la voie d’Allah à celui qui a la foi, et pourquoi voulez-vous rendre cette voie tortueuse, alors que vous êtes témoins de la vérité !" Et Allah n’est pas inattentif à ce que vous faites.
3:100
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO youyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَwhoalladhīnaءَامَنُوٓا۟believe[d]āmanūإِنIfinتُطِيعُوا۟you obeytuṭīʿūفَرِيقًۭاa groupfarīqanمِّنَfromminaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaأُوتُوا۟were givenūtūٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaيَرُدُّوكُمthey will turn you backyaruddūkumبَعْدَafterbaʿdaإِيمَـٰنِكُمْyour beliefīmānikumكَـٰفِرِينَ(as) disbelieverskāfirīna١٠٠
Ô les croyants ! Si vous obéissez à un groupe de ceux auxquels on a donné le Livre, il vous rendra mécréants après que vous ayez eu la foi.
3:101
وَكَيْفَAnd how (could)wakayfaتَكْفُرُونَyou disbelievetakfurūnaوَأَنتُمْwhile [you]wa-antumتُتْلَىٰis recitedtut'lāعَلَيْكُمْupon youʿalaykumءَايَـٰتُ(the) Versesāyātuٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَفِيكُمْand among youwafīkumرَسُولُهُۥ ۗ(is) His MessengerrasūluhuوَمَنAnd whoeverwamanيَعْتَصِمholds firmlyyaʿtaṣimبِٱللَّهِto Allahbil-lahiفَقَدْthen surelyfaqadهُدِىَhe is guidedhudiyaإِلَىٰtoilāصِرَٰطٍۢa pathṣirāṭinمُّسْتَقِيمٍۢstraightmus'taqīmin١٠١
Et comment pouvez-vous ne pas croire, alors que les versets d’Allah vous sont récités, et qu’au milieu de vous se tient Son Messager? Quiconque s’attache fortement à Allah, il est certes guidé vers un droit chemin.
3:102
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO youyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَwhoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believe[d]āmanūٱتَّقُوا۟FearittaqūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaحَقَّ(as is His) rightḥaqqaتُقَاتِهِۦ(that) He (should) be fearedtuqātihiوَلَاand (do) notwalāتَمُوتُنَّdietamūtunnaإِلَّاexceptillāوَأَنتُم[while you]wa-antumمُّسْلِمُونَ(as) Muslimsmus'limūna١٠٢
Ô les croyants! Craignez Allah comme Il doit être craint. Et ne mourez qu’en pleine soumission [en étant Musulmans].
3:103
وَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟And hold firmlywa-iʿ'taṣimūبِحَبْلِto (the) ropebiḥabliٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiجَمِيعًۭاall togetherjamīʿanوَلَاand (do) notwalāتَفَرَّقُوا۟ ۚbe dividedtafarraqūوَٱذْكُرُوا۟And rememberwa-udh'kurūنِعْمَتَ(the) Favorniʿ'mataٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiعَلَيْكُمْon youʿalaykumإِذْwhenidhكُنتُمْyou werekuntumأَعْدَآءًۭenemiesaʿdāanفَأَلَّفَthen He made friendshipfa-allafaبَيْنَbetweenbaynaقُلُوبِكُمْyour heartsqulūbikumفَأَصْبَحْتُمthen you becamefa-aṣbaḥtumبِنِعْمَتِهِۦٓby His Favorbiniʿ'matihiإِخْوَٰنًۭاbrothersikh'wānanوَكُنتُمْAnd you werewakuntumعَلَىٰonʿalāشَفَا(the) brinkshafāحُفْرَةٍۢ(of) pitḥuf'ratinمِّنَofminaٱلنَّارِthe Firel-nāriفَأَنقَذَكُمthen He saved youfa-anqadhakumمِّنْهَا ۗfrom itmin'hāكَذَٰلِكَThuskadhālikaيُبَيِّنُmakes clearyubayyinuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuلَكُمْfor youlakumءَايَـٰتِهِۦHis Versesāyātihiلَعَلَّكُمْso that you maylaʿallakumتَهْتَدُونَ(be) guidedtahtadūna١٠٣
Et cramponnez-vous tous ensemble au câble d’Allah (Habl Allah) et ne soyez pas divisés; et rappelez-vous le bienfait d’Allah sur vous: lorsque vous étiez ennemis, c’est Lui qui réconcilia vos cœurs. Puis, par Son bienfait, vous êtes devenus frères. Et alors que vous étiez au bord d’un abîme de Feu, c’est Lui qui vous en a sauvés. Ainsi, Allah vous montre Ses signes afin que vous soyez bien guidés.
3:104
وَلْتَكُنAnd let there bewaltakunمِّنكُمْamong youminkumأُمَّةٌۭ[a] peopleummatunيَدْعُونَinvitingyadʿūnaإِلَىtoilāٱلْخَيْرِthe goodl-khayriوَيَأْمُرُونَ[and] enjoiningwayamurūnaبِٱلْمَعْرُوفِthe rightbil-maʿrūfiوَيَنْهَوْنَand forbiddingwayanhawnaعَنِfromʿaniٱلْمُنكَرِ ۚthe wrongl-munkariوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَand those wa-ulāikaهُمُtheyhumuٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ(are) the successful onesl-muf'liḥūna١٠٤
Que soit issue de vous une communauté qui appelle au bien, ordonne le convenable, et interdit le blâmable. Car ce seront eux qui réussiront .
3:105
وَلَاAnd (do) notwalāتَكُونُوا۟betakūnūكَٱلَّذِينَlike those whoka-alladhīnaتَفَرَّقُوا۟became dividedtafarraqūوَٱخْتَلَفُوا۟and differedwa-ikh'talafūمِنۢfromminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiمَاwhatmāجَآءَهُمُcame to them jāahumuٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتُ ۚthe clear proofsl-bayinātuوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَAnd thosewa-ulāikaلَهُمْfor themlahumعَذَابٌ(is) a punishmentʿadhābunعَظِيمٌۭgreatʿaẓīmun١٠٥
Et ne soyez pas comme ceux qui se sont divisés et se sont mis à disputer, après que les preuves (évidentes) leur furent venues, et ceux-là auront un énorme châtiment.
3:106
يَوْمَ(On the) Dayyawmaتَبْيَضُّwould become whitetabyaḍḍuوُجُوهٌۭ(some) faceswujūhunوَتَسْوَدُّand would become blackwataswadduوُجُوهٌۭ ۚ(some) faceswujūhunفَأَمَّاAs forfa-ammāٱلَّذِينَthose whosealladhīnaٱسْوَدَّتْturn blackis'waddatوُجُوهُهُمْ[their] faces wujūhuhumأَكَفَرْتُمDid you disbelieveakafartumبَعْدَafterbaʿdaإِيمَـٰنِكُمْyour beliefīmānikumفَذُوقُوا۟Then tastefadhūqūٱلْعَذَابَthe punishmentl-ʿadhābaبِمَاfor whatbimāكُنتُمْyou used tokuntumتَكْفُرُونَdisbelievetakfurūna١٠٦
Au jour où certains visages s’éclaireront, et que d’autres s’assombriront. A ceux dont les visages seront assombris (il sera dit) : "Avez-vous mécru après avoir eu la foi ?" Eh bien, goûtez au châtiment, pour avoir renié la foi !"
3:107
وَأَمَّاBut as forwa-ammāٱلَّذِينَthose whosealladhīnaٱبْيَضَّتْturn whiteib'yaḍḍatوُجُوهُهُمْ[their] faceswujūhuhumفَفِىthen (they will be) infafīرَحْمَةِ(the) Mercyraḥmatiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiهُمْtheyhumفِيهَاin itfīhāخَـٰلِدُونَ(will) abide foreverkhālidūna١٠٧
Et quant à ceux dont les visages s’éclaireront, ils seront dans la miséricorde d’Allah, où ils demeureront éternellement.
3:108
تِلْكَThesetil'kaءَايَـٰتُ(are the) Versesāyātuٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiنَتْلُوهَاWe recite themnatlūhāعَلَيْكَto youʿalaykaبِٱلْحَقِّ ۗin truthbil-ḥaqiوَمَاAnd notwamāٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuيُرِيدُwantsyurīduظُلْمًۭاinjusticeẓul'manلِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَto the worldslil'ʿālamīna١٠٨
Tels sont les versets d’Allah; Nous te (Mohammad) les récitons avec vérité. Et Allah ne veut point léser les mondes.
3:109
وَلِلَّهِAnd to Allah (belongs)walillahiمَاwhatevermāفِى(is) infīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَمَاand whateverwamāفِى(is) infīٱلْأَرْضِ ۚthe earthl-arḍiوَإِلَىAnd towa-ilāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiتُرْجَعُwill be returnedtur'jaʿuٱلْأُمُورُthe mattersl-umūru١٠٩
À Allah appartient tout ce qui est dans les cieux et sur la terre. Et c’est vers Allah que toute chose sera ramenée.
3:110
كُنتُمْYou arekuntumخَيْرَ(the) bestkhayraأُمَّةٍ(of) peopleummatinأُخْرِجَتْraisedukh'rijatلِلنَّاسِfor the mankind lilnnāsiتَأْمُرُونَenjoiningtamurūnaبِٱلْمَعْرُوفِthe rightbil-maʿrūfiوَتَنْهَوْنَand forbiddingwatanhawnaعَنِ[from]ʿaniٱلْمُنكَرِthe wrongl-munkariوَتُؤْمِنُونَand believingwatu'minūnaبِٱللَّهِ ۗin Allahbil-lahiوَلَوْAnd ifwalawءَامَنَbelievedāmanaأَهْلُ(the) Peopleahluٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(of) the Bookl-kitābiلَكَانَsurely would have beenlakānaخَيْرًۭاgoodkhayranلَّهُم ۚfor themlahumمِّنْهُمُAmong themmin'humuٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ(are) [the] believersl-mu'minūnaوَأَكْثَرُهُمُbut most of themwa-aktharuhumuٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ(are) defiantly disobedientl-fāsiqūna١١٠
Vous êtes la meilleure communauté qu’on ait fait surgir pour les hommes vous ordonnez le convenable, interdisez le blâmable et croyez à Allah. Si les gens du Livre croyaient, ce serait meilleur pour eux, il y en a qui ont la foi, mais la plupart d’entre eux sont des pervers.
3:111
لَنNeverlanيَضُرُّوكُمْwill they harm youyaḍurrūkumإِلَّآexceptillāأَذًۭى ۖa hurtadhanوَإِنAnd ifwa-inيُقَـٰتِلُوكُمْthey fight youyuqātilūkumيُوَلُّوكُمُthey will turn (towards) youyuwallūkumuٱلْأَدْبَارَthe backsl-adbāraثُمَّthenthummaلَاnotlāيُنصَرُونَthey will be helpedyunṣarūna١١١
Ils ne sauront jamais vous causer de grand mal, seulement une nuisance (par la langue); et s’ils vous combattent, ils vous tourneront le dos, et ils n’auront alors point de secours.
3:112
ضُرِبَتْStruckḍuribatعَلَيْهِمُon themʿalayhimuٱلذِّلَّةُthe humiliationl-dhilatuأَيْنَwhereveraynaمَاthatmāثُقِفُوٓا۟they are foundthuqifūإِلَّاexceptillāبِحَبْلٍۢwith a ropebiḥablinمِّنَfromminaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَحَبْلٍۢand a ropewaḥablinمِّنَfromminaٱلنَّاسِthe peoplel-nāsiوَبَآءُوAnd they incurredwabāūبِغَضَبٍۢwrathbighaḍabinمِّنَfromminaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَضُرِبَتْand struckwaḍuribatعَلَيْهِمُon themʿalayhimuٱلْمَسْكَنَةُ ۚthe povertyl-maskanatuذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaبِأَنَّهُمْ(is) becausebi-annahumكَانُوا۟they used tokānūيَكْفُرُونَdisbelieveyakfurūnaبِـَٔايَـٰتِin (the) Versesbiāyātiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَيَقْتُلُونَand they killedwayaqtulūnaٱلْأَنۢبِيَآءَthe Prophetsl-anbiyāaبِغَيْرِwithoutbighayriحَقٍّۢ ۚrightḥaqqinذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaبِمَا(is) becausebimāعَصَوا۟they disobeyedʿaṣawوَّكَانُوا۟and they used towakānūيَعْتَدُونَtransgressyaʿtadūna١١٢
Où qu’ils se trouvent, ils seront frappés d’avilissement, à moins d’un secours providentiel d’Allah ou d’un pacte conclu avec les hommes. Ils ont encouru la colère d’Allah, et les voilà frappés de malheur, pour n’avoir pas cru aux signes d’Allah, et assassiné injustement les Prophètes, et aussi pour avoir désobéi et transgressé.
3:113
۞ لَيْسُوا۟They are notlaysūسَوَآءًۭ ۗ(the) samesawāanمِّنْamongminأَهْلِ(the) Peopleahliٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(of) the Bookl-kitābiأُمَّةٌۭ(is) a communityummatunقَآئِمَةٌۭstandingqāimatunيَتْلُونَ(and) recitingyatlūnaءَايَـٰتِ(the) Versesāyātiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiءَانَآءَ(in the) hoursānāaٱلَّيْلِ(of) the nightal-layliوَهُمْand theywahumيَسْجُدُونَprostrateyasjudūna١١٣
Mais ils ne sont pas tous pareils. Il est, parmi les gens du Livre, une communauté droite qui, aux heures de la nuit, récite les versets d’Allah en se prosternant.
3:114
يُؤْمِنُونَThey believeyu'minūnaبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiوَٱلْيَوْمِand the Daywal-yawmiٱلْـَٔاخِرِthe Lastl-ākhiriوَيَأْمُرُونَand they enjoinwayamurūnaبِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ[with] the rightbil-maʿrūfiوَيَنْهَوْنَand forbidwayanhawnaعَنِ[from]ʿaniٱلْمُنكَرِthe wrongl-munkariوَيُسَـٰرِعُونَand they hastenwayusāriʿūnaفِىinfīٱلْخَيْرَٰتِthe good deedsl-khayrātiوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَAnd thosewa-ulāikaمِنَ(are) fromminaٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَthe righteousl-ṣāliḥīna١١٤
Ils croient en Allah et au Jour Dernier, ordonnent le convenable, interdisent le blâmable et concourent aux bonnes œuvres. Ceux-là sont parmi les gens de bien.
3:115
وَمَاAnd whateverwamāيَفْعَلُوا۟they doyafʿalūمِنْofminخَيْرٍۢa goodkhayrinفَلَنthen neverfalanيُكْفَرُوهُ ۗwill they be denied ityuk'farūhuوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuعَلِيمٌۢ(is) All-Knowingʿalīmunبِٱلْمُتَّقِينَof the God-fearingbil-mutaqīna١١٥
Et quelque bien qu’ils fassent, il ne leur sera pas dénié. Car Allah connaît bien les pieux.
3:116
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievedkafarūلَنneverlanتُغْنِىَwill availtugh'niyaعَنْهُمْ[for] themʿanhumأَمْوَٰلُهُمْtheir wealthamwāluhumوَلَآand notwalāأَوْلَـٰدُهُمtheir childrenawlāduhumمِّنَagainstminaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiشَيْـًۭٔا ۖanythingshayanوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَand thosewa-ulāikaأَصْحَـٰبُ(are the) companionsaṣḥābuٱلنَّارِ ۚ(of) the Firel-nāriهُمْtheyhumفِيهَاin itfīhāخَـٰلِدُونَ(will) abide foreverkhālidūna١١٦
Quant à ceux qui ne croient pas, ni leurs biens, ni leurs enfants ne pourront jamais leur servir contre la punition d’Allah. Et ce sont les gens du Feu: ils y demeureront éternellement.
3:117
مَثَلُExamplemathaluمَا(of) whatmāيُنفِقُونَthey spendyunfiqūnaفِىinfīهَـٰذِهِthishādhihiٱلْحَيَوٰةِ[the] lifel-ḥayatiٱلدُّنْيَا(of) the worldl-dun'yāكَمَثَلِ(is) like (the) examplekamathaliرِيحٍۢ(of) a windrīḥinفِيهَاin itfīhāصِرٌّ(is) frostṣirrunأَصَابَتْit struckaṣābatحَرْثَ(the) harvestḥarthaقَوْمٍۢ(of) a peopleqawminظَلَمُوٓا۟who wrongedẓalamūأَنفُسَهُمْthemselvesanfusahumفَأَهْلَكَتْهُ ۚthen destroyed itfa-ahlakathuوَمَاAnd notwamāظَلَمَهُمُ(has) wronged themẓalamahumuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuوَلَـٰكِنْ[and] butwalākinأَنفُسَهُمْthemselvesanfusahumيَظْلِمُونَthey wrongedyaẓlimūna١١٧
Ce qu’ils dépensent dans la vie présente ressemble à un vent glacial qui s’abat sur un champ appartenant à des gens qui se sont lésés eux-mêmes, et le détruit. Car ce n’est pas Allah qui leur cause du tort, mais ils se font du tort à eux-mêmes.
3:118
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO youyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَwhoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believe[d]āmanūلَا(Do) notlāتَتَّخِذُوا۟taketattakhidhūبِطَانَةًۭ(as) intimatesbiṭānatanمِّنfromminدُونِكُمْother than yourselvesdūnikumلَاnotlāيَأْلُونَكُمْthey will spare youyalūnakumخَبَالًۭا(any) ruinkhabālanوَدُّوا۟They wishwaddūمَاwhatmāعَنِتُّمْdistresses youʿanittumقَدْIndeedqadبَدَتِ(has become) apparentbadatiٱلْبَغْضَآءُthe hatredl-baghḍāuمِنْfromminأَفْوَٰهِهِمْtheir mouthsafwāhihimوَمَاand whatwamāتُخْفِىconcealstukh'fīصُدُورُهُمْtheir breastsṣudūruhumأَكْبَرُ ۚ(is) greaterakbaruقَدْCertainlyqadبَيَّنَّاWe made clearbayyannāلَكُمُfor youlakumuٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ ۖthe Versesl-āyātiإِنifinكُنتُمْyou werekuntumتَعْقِلُونَ(to use) reasontaʿqilūna١١٨
Ô les croyants ! Ne prenez pas de confidents en dehors de vous- mêmes: ils ne failliront pas à vous bouleverser. Ils souhaiteraient que vous soyez en difficulté. La haine certes s’est manifestée dans leurs bouches, mais ce que leurs poitrines cachent est encore plus énorme. Voilà que Nous vous exposons les signes. Si vous pouviez raisonner !
3:119
هَـٰٓأَنتُمْLo! You arehāantumأُو۟لَآءِthoseulāiتُحِبُّونَهُمْyou love themtuḥibbūnahumوَلَاbut notwalāيُحِبُّونَكُمْthey love youyuḥibbūnakumوَتُؤْمِنُونَand you believewatu'minūnaبِٱلْكِتَـٰبِin the Book bil-kitābiكُلِّهِۦall of itkullihiوَإِذَاAnd whenwa-idhāلَقُوكُمْthey meet youlaqūkumقَالُوٓا۟they sayqālūءَامَنَّاWe believeāmannāوَإِذَاAnd whenwa-idhāخَلَوْا۟they are alonekhalawعَضُّوا۟they biteʿaḍḍūعَلَيْكُمُat youʿalaykumuٱلْأَنَامِلَthe finger tipsl-anāmilaمِنَ(out) ofminaٱلْغَيْظِ ۚ[the] ragel-ghayẓiقُلْSayqulمُوتُوا۟Diemūtūبِغَيْظِكُمْ ۗin your ragebighayẓikumإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaعَلِيمٌۢ(is) All-Knowingʿalīmunبِذَاتِof whatbidhātiٱلصُّدُورِ(is in) the breastsl-ṣudūri١١٩
Vous, (Musulmans) vous les aimez, alors qu’ils ne vous aiment pas; et vous avez foi dans le Livre tout entier. Et lorsqu’ils vous rencontrent, ils disent : "Nous croyons"; et une fois seuls, de rage contre vous, ils se mordent les bouts des doigts. Dis : "Mourrez de votre rage !" En vérité, Allah connaît fort bien le contenu des cœurs.
3:120
إِنIfinتَمْسَسْكُمْtouches youtamsaskumحَسَنَةٌۭa goodḥasanatunتَسُؤْهُمْit grieves themtasu'humوَإِنand ifwa-inتُصِبْكُمْstrikes youtuṣib'kumسَيِّئَةٌۭmisfortunesayyi-atunيَفْرَحُوا۟they rejoiceyafraḥūبِهَا ۖat itbihāوَإِنAnd ifwa-inتَصْبِرُوا۟you are patienttaṣbirūوَتَتَّقُوا۟and fear (Allah)watattaqūلَاnotlāيَضُرُّكُمْwill harm youyaḍurrukumكَيْدُهُمْtheir plotkayduhumشَيْـًٔا ۗ(in) anythingshayanإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaبِمَاof whatbimāيَعْمَلُونَthey doyaʿmalūnaمُحِيطٌۭ(is) All-Encompassingmuḥīṭun١٢٠
Qu’un bien vous touche, ils s’en affligent. Qu’un mal vous atteigne, ils s’en réjouissent. Mais si vous êtes endurants et pieux, leur manigance ne vous causera aucun mal. Allah connaît parfaitement tout ce qu’ils font.
3:121
وَإِذْAnd whenwa-idhغَدَوْتَyou left early morningghadawtaمِنْfromminأَهْلِكَyour householdahlikaتُبَوِّئُto posttubawwi-uٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believersl-mu'minīnaمَقَـٰعِدَ(to take) positionsmaqāʿidaلِلْقِتَالِ ۗfor the battlelil'qitāliوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuسَمِيعٌ(is) All-HearingsamīʿunعَلِيمٌAll-Knowingʿalīmun١٢١
Lorsqu’un matin, tu (Mohammad) quittas ta famille, pour assigner aux croyants les postes de combat et Allah est Audient et Omniscient.
3:122
إِذْWhenidhهَمَّتinclinedhammatطَّآئِفَتَانِtwo partiesṭāifatāniمِنكُمْamong youminkumأَنthatanتَفْشَلَاthey lost hearttafshalāوَٱللَّهُbut Allahwal-lahuوَلِيُّهُمَا ۗ(was) their protectorwaliyyuhumāوَعَلَىAnd onwaʿalāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiفَلْيَتَوَكَّلِlet put (their) trustfalyatawakkaliٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَthe believersl-mu'minūna١٢٢
Quand deux de vos groupes songèrent à fléchir, alors qu’Allah était leur allié à tous deux! Et, c’est en Allah que les croyants doivent placer leur confiance.
3:123
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadنَصَرَكُمُhelped younaṣarakumuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuبِبَدْرٍۢin Badrbibadrinوَأَنتُمْwhile you (were)wa-antumأَذِلَّةٌۭ ۖweakadhillatunفَٱتَّقُوا۟So fearfa-ittaqūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَعَلَّكُمْso that you maylaʿallakumتَشْكُرُونَ(be) gratefultashkurūna١٢٣
Certes, Allah vous a donné la victoire, à Badr, alors que vous étiez humiliés. Craignez donc Allah ! Afin que vous soyez reconnaissants !
3:124
إِذْWhenidhتَقُولُyou saidtaqūluلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَto the believerslil'mu'minīnaأَلَنIs it notalanيَكْفِيَكُمْenough for youyakfiyakumأَنthatanيُمِدَّكُمْreinforces youyumiddakumرَبُّكُمyour Lordrabbukumبِثَلَـٰثَةِwith threebithalāthatiءَالَـٰفٍۢthousand[s]ālāfinمِّنَ[of]minaٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ[the] Angelsl-malāikatiمُنزَلِينَ[the ones] sent downmunzalīna١٢٤
(Allah vous a bien donné la victoire) lorsque tu disais aux croyants; "Ne vous suffit-il pas que votre Seigneur vous fasse descendre en aide trois milliers d’Anges ?"
3:125
بَلَىٰٓ ۚYesbalāإِنifinتَصْبِرُوا۟you are patienttaṣbirūوَتَتَّقُوا۟and fear (Allah)watattaqūوَيَأْتُوكُمand they come upon youwayatūkumمِّن[of]minفَوْرِهِمْsuddenlyfawrihimهَـٰذَا[this]hādhāيُمْدِدْكُمْwill reinforce youyum'did'kumرَبُّكُمyour Lordrabbukumبِخَمْسَةِwith fivebikhamsatiءَالَـٰفٍۢthousand[s]ālāfinمِّنَ[of]minaٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ[the] Angelsl-malāikatiمُسَوِّمِينَ[the ones] having marksmusawwimīna١٢٥
Mais oui! Si vous êtes endurants et pieux, et qu’ils [les ennemis] vous assaillent immédiatement, votre Seigneur vous enverra en renfort cinq mille Anges marqués distinctement .
3:126
وَمَاAnd notwamāجَعَلَهُmade itjaʿalahuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuإِلَّاexceptillāبُشْرَىٰ(as) good newsbush'rāلَكُمْfor youlakumوَلِتَطْمَئِنَّand to reassurewalitaṭma-innaقُلُوبُكُمyour heartsqulūbukumبِهِۦ ۗwith itbihiوَمَاAnd (there is) nowamāٱلنَّصْرُ[the] victoryl-naṣruإِلَّاexceptillāمِنْfromminعِندِ[near]ʿindiٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiٱلْعَزِيزِthe All-Mightyl-ʿazīziٱلْحَكِيمِthe All-Wisel-ḥakīmi١٢٦
Et Allah ne le fit que (pour vous annoncer) une bonne nouvelle, et pour que vos cœurs s’en rassurent. La victoire ne peut venir que d’Allah, le Puissant, le Sage;
3:127
لِيَقْطَعَThat He may cut offliyaqṭaʿaطَرَفًۭاa partṭarafanمِّنَofminaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوٓا۟disbelievedkafarūأَوْorawيَكْبِتَهُمْsuppress themyakbitahumفَيَنقَلِبُوا۟so (that) they turn backfayanqalibūخَآئِبِينَdisappointedkhāibīna١٢٧
pour anéantir une partie des mécréants ou pour les humilier (par la défaite) et qu’ils en retournent donc déçus . -
3:128
لَيْسَNotlaysaلَكَfor youlakaمِنَofminaٱلْأَمْرِthe decisionl-amriشَىْءٌ(of) anythingshayonأَوْwhetherawيَتُوبَHe turnsyatūbaعَلَيْهِمْto themʿalayhimأَوْorawيُعَذِّبَهُمْpunishes themyuʿadhibahumفَإِنَّهُمْfor indeed, theyfa-innahumظَـٰلِمُونَ(are) wrongdoersẓālimūna١٢٨
Tu n’as (Mohammad) aucune part dans l’ordre (divin) - qu’Il (Allah) accepte leur repentir (en embrassant l’islam) ou qu’Il les châtie, car ils sont bien des injustes.
3:129
وَلِلَّهِAnd to Allah (belongs)walillahiمَاwhatmāفِى(is) infīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَمَاand whatwamāفِى(is) infīٱلْأَرْضِ ۚthe earthl-arḍiيَغْفِرُHe forgivesyaghfiruلِمَن[for] whomlimanيَشَآءُHe willsyashāuوَيُعَذِّبُand punisheswayuʿadhibuمَنwhommanيَشَآءُ ۚHe willsyashāuوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuغَفُورٌۭ(is) Oft-ForgivingghafūrunرَّحِيمٌۭMost Mercifulraḥīmun١٢٩
À Allah appartient tout ce qui est dans les cieux et sur la terre. Il pardonne à qui Il veut, et Il châtie qui Il veut.... Et Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.
3:130
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO youyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَwhoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūلَا(Do) notlāتَأْكُلُوا۟eattakulūٱلرِّبَوٰٓا۟the usuryl-ribaأَضْعَـٰفًۭاdoubledaḍʿāfanمُّضَـٰعَفَةًۭ ۖmultipliedmuḍāʿafatanوَٱتَّقُوا۟And fearwa-ittaqūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَعَلَّكُمْso that you maylaʿallakumتُفْلِحُونَ(be) successfultuf'liḥūna١٣٠
Ô les croyants! Ne pratiquez pas l’usure en multipliant démesurément votre capital. Et craignez Allah afin que vous réussissiez !
3:131
وَٱتَّقُوا۟And fearwa-ittaqūٱلنَّارَthe Firel-nāraٱلَّتِىٓwhichallatīأُعِدَّتْis prepareduʿiddatلِلْكَـٰفِرِينَfor the disbelieverslil'kāfirīna١٣١
Et craignez le Feu préparé pour les mécréants.
3:132
وَأَطِيعُوا۟And obeywa-aṭīʿūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaوَٱلرَّسُولَand the Messengerwal-rasūlaلَعَلَّكُمْso that you maylaʿallakumتُرْحَمُونَreceive mercytur'ḥamūna١٣٢
Et obéissez à Allah et au Messager afin qu’il vous soit fait miséricorde !
3:133
۞ وَسَارِعُوٓا۟And hastenwasāriʿūإِلَىٰtoilāمَغْفِرَةٍۢforgivenessmaghfiratinمِّنfromminرَّبِّكُمْyour Lordrabbikumوَجَنَّةٍand a Garden wajannatinعَرْضُهَاits widthʿarḍuhāٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ(is like that of) the heavensl-samāwātuوَٱلْأَرْضُand the earthwal-arḍuأُعِدَّتْprepareduʿiddatلِلْمُتَّقِينَfor the piouslil'muttaqīna١٣٣
Et concourez au pardon de votre Seigneur, et à un Jardin (Paradis) large comme les cieux et la terre, préparé pour les pieux,
3:134
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaيُنفِقُونَspendyunfiqūnaفِىinfīٱلسَّرَّآءِ[the] easel-sarāiوَٱلضَّرَّآءِand (in) the hardshipwal-ḍarāiوَٱلْكَـٰظِمِينَand those who restrainwal-kāẓimīnaٱلْغَيْظَthe angerl-ghayẓaوَٱلْعَافِينَand those who pardonwal-ʿāfīnaعَنِ[from]ʿaniٱلنَّاسِ ۗthe people l-nāsiوَٱللَّهُand Allahwal-lahuيُحِبُّlovesyuḥibbuٱلْمُحْسِنِينَthe good-doersl-muḥ'sinīna١٣٤
qui dépensent dans l’aisance et dans l’adversité, qui dominent leur rage et pardonnent à autrui - car Allah aime les bienfaisants ;
3:135
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd thosewa-alladhīnaإِذَاwhenidhāفَعَلُوا۟they didfaʿalūفَـٰحِشَةًimmoralityfāḥishatanأَوْorawظَلَمُوٓا۟wrongedẓalamūأَنفُسَهُمْthemselves anfusahumذَكَرُوا۟they rememberdhakarūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaفَٱسْتَغْفَرُوا۟then ask forgivenessfa-is'taghfarūلِذُنُوبِهِمْfor their sins lidhunūbihimوَمَنand whowamanيَغْفِرُ(can) forgiveyaghfiruٱلذُّنُوبَthe sinsl-dhunūbaإِلَّاexceptillāٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuوَلَمْAnd notwalamيُصِرُّوا۟they persistyuṣirrūعَلَىٰonʿalāمَاwhatmāفَعَلُوا۟they didfaʿalūوَهُمْwhile theywahumيَعْلَمُونَknowyaʿlamūna١٣٥
et pour ceux qui, s’ils ont commis quelque turpitude ou causé quelque préjudice à leurs propres âmes (en désobéissant à Allah), se souviennent d’Allah et demandent pardon pour leur péchés - et qui est-ce qui pardonne les péchés sinon Allah ? - et qui ne persistent pas sciemment dans le mal qu’ils ont fait.
3:136
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَThose ulāikaجَزَآؤُهُمtheir rewardjazāuhumمَّغْفِرَةٌۭ(is) forgivenessmaghfiratunمِّنfromminرَّبِّهِمْtheir Lordrabbihimوَجَنَّـٰتٌۭand Gardenswajannātunتَجْرِىflowstajrīمِنfromminتَحْتِهَاunderneath ittaḥtihāٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُthe riversl-anhāruخَـٰلِدِينَabiding foreverkhālidīnaفِيهَا ۚin itfīhāوَنِعْمَAnd an excellentwaniʿ'maأَجْرُrewardajruٱلْعَـٰمِلِينَ(for) the (righteous) workersl-ʿāmilīna١٣٦
Ceux-là ont pour récompense le pardon de leur Seigneur, ainsi que les Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux, pour y demeurer éternellement. Comme est belle la récompense de ceux qui font le bien !
3:137
قَدْVerilyqadخَلَتْpassedkhalatمِنfromminقَبْلِكُمْbefore youqablikumسُنَنٌۭsituationssunanunفَسِيرُوا۟then travelfasīrūفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiفَٱنظُرُوا۟and seefa-unẓurūكَيْفَhowkayfaكَانَwaskānaعَـٰقِبَةُ(the) endʿāqibatuٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ(of) the deniersl-mukadhibīna١٣٧
Avant vous, certes, beaucoup d’événements se sont passés. Or, parcourez la terre, et voyez ce qu’il est advenu de ceux qui traitaient (les Prophètes) de menteurs.
3:138
هَـٰذَاThishādhāبَيَانٌۭ(is) a declarationbayānunلِّلنَّاسِfor the peoplelilnnāsiوَهُدًۭىand guidancewahudanوَمَوْعِظَةٌۭand admonitionwamawʿiẓatunلِّلْمُتَّقِينَfor the God-fearinglil'muttaqīna١٣٨
Voilà un exposé pour les gens, un guide, et une exhortation pour les pieux.
3:139
وَلَاAnd (do) notwalāتَهِنُوا۟weakentahinūوَلَاand (do) notwalāتَحْزَنُوا۟grievetaḥzanūوَأَنتُمُand you (will be)wa-antumuٱلْأَعْلَوْنَ[the] superiorl-aʿlawnaإِنifinكُنتُمyou arekuntumمُّؤْمِنِينَbelieversmu'minīna١٣٩
Ne vous laissez pas battre, ne vous affligez pas alors que vous êtes les supérieurs, si vous êtes de vrais croyants.
3:140
إِنIfinيَمْسَسْكُمْtouched youyamsaskumقَرْحٌۭa woundqarḥunفَقَدْso certainlyfaqadمَسَّ(has) touchedmassaٱلْقَوْمَthe peoplel-qawmaقَرْحٌۭwoundqarḥunمِّثْلُهُۥ ۚlike itmith'luhuوَتِلْكَAnd thiswatil'kaٱلْأَيَّامُ[the] daysl-ayāmuنُدَاوِلُهَاWe alternate themnudāwiluhāبَيْنَamongbaynaٱلنَّاسِthe peoplel-nāsiوَلِيَعْلَمَ[and] so that makes evidentwaliyaʿlamaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believe[d]āmanūوَيَتَّخِذَand takewayattakhidhaمِنكُمْfrom youminkumشُهَدَآءَ ۗmartyrsshuhadāaوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuلَا(does) notlāيُحِبُّloveyuḥibbuٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَthe wrongdoersl-ẓālimīna١٤٠
Si une blessure vous atteint, pareille blessure atteint aussi l’ennemi. Ainsi faisons-Nous alterner les jours (bons et mauvais) parmi les gens, afin qu’Allah reconnaisse ceux qui ont cru, et qu’Il choisisse parmi vous des martyrs - et Allah n’aime pas les injustes.
3:141
وَلِيُمَحِّصَAnd so that may purifywaliyumaḥḥiṣaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūوَيَمْحَقَand destroywayamḥaqaٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَthe disbelieversl-kāfirīna١٤١
et afin qu’Allah purifie ceux qui ont cru, et anéantisse les mécréants.
3:142
أَمْOramحَسِبْتُمْdo you thinkḥasib'tumأَنthatanتَدْخُلُوا۟you will entertadkhulūٱلْجَنَّةَParadisel-janataوَلَمَّاwhile has not yetwalammāيَعْلَمِmade evidentyaʿlamiٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaجَـٰهَدُوا۟strove hardjāhadūمِنكُمْamong youminkumوَيَعْلَمَand made evidentwayaʿlamaٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَthe steadfastl-ṣābirīna١٤٢
Comptez-vous entrer au Paradis sans qu’Allah ne distingue parmi vous ceux qui luttent et qui sont endurants ?
3:143
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadكُنتُمْyou used tokuntumتَمَنَّوْنَwishtamannawnaٱلْمَوْتَ(for) deathl-mawtaمِنfromminقَبْلِbeforeqabliأَن[that]anتَلْقَوْهُyou met ittalqawhuفَقَدْthen indeedfaqadرَأَيْتُمُوهُyou have seen itra-aytumūhuوَأَنتُمْwhile you (were)wa-antumتَنظُرُونَlooking ontanẓurūna١٤٣
Bien sûr, vous souhaitiez la mort avant de la rencontrer. Or vous l’avez vue, certes, tandis que vous regardiez !
3:144
وَمَاAnd notwamāمُحَمَّدٌ(is) Muhammad muḥammadunإِلَّاexceptillāرَسُولٌۭa Messengerrasūlunقَدْcertainlyqadخَلَتْpassed awaykhalatمِنfromminقَبْلِهِbefore himqablihiٱلرُّسُلُ ۚ[the] (other) Messengersl-rusuluأَفَإِي۟نSo ifafa-inمَّاتَhe diedmātaأَوْorawقُتِلَis slainqutilaٱنقَلَبْتُمْwill you turn backinqalabtumعَلَىٰٓonʿalāأَعْقَـٰبِكُمْ ۚyour heelsaʿqābikumوَمَنAnd whoeverwamanيَنقَلِبْturns backyanqalibعَلَىٰonʿalāعَقِبَيْهِhis heelsʿaqibayhiفَلَنthen neverfalanيَضُرَّwill he harmyaḍurraٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaشَيْـًۭٔا ۗ(in) anythingshayanوَسَيَجْزِىAnd will rewardwasayajzīٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَthe grateful onesl-shākirīna١٤٤
Mohammad n’est qu’un Messager - des Messagers avant lui sont passés - S’il mourait, donc, ou s’il était tué, retourneriez-vous sur vos talons? Quiconque retourne sur ses talons ne nuira en rien à Allah ; et Allah récompensera bientôt les reconnaissants.
3:145
وَمَاAnd notwamāكَانَiskānaلِنَفْسٍfor a soullinafsinأَنthatanتَمُوتَhe diestamūtaإِلَّاexceptillāبِإِذْنِby (the) permissionbi-idh'niٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiكِتَـٰبًۭا(at a) decreekitābanمُّؤَجَّلًۭا ۗdeterminedmu-ajjalanوَمَنAnd whoeverwamanيُرِدْdesiresyuridثَوَابَrewardthawābaٱلدُّنْيَا(of) the world l-dun'yāنُؤْتِهِۦWe will give himnu'tihiمِنْهَاthereofmin'hāوَمَنand whoeverwamanيُرِدْdesiresyuridثَوَابَrewardthawābaٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ(of) the Hereafterl-ākhiratiنُؤْتِهِۦWe will give himnu'tihiمِنْهَا ۚthereofmin'hāوَسَنَجْزِىAnd We will rewardwasanajzīٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَthe grateful onesl-shākirīna١٤٥
Personne ne peut mourir que par la permission d’Allah, et au moment prédéterminé. Quiconque veut la récompense d’ici-bas, Nous lui en donnons. Quiconque veut la récompense de l’au-delà, Nous lui en donnons et Nous récompenserons bientôt les reconnaissants.
3:146
وَكَأَيِّنAnd how manywaka-ayyinمِّنfromminنَّبِىٍّۢa Prophetnabiyyinقَـٰتَلَfoughtqātalaمَعَهُۥwith himmaʿahuرِبِّيُّونَ(were) religious scholarsribbiyyūnaكَثِيرٌۭmanykathīrunفَمَاBut notfamāوَهَنُوا۟they lost heartwahanūلِمَآfor whatlimāأَصَابَهُمْbefell themaṣābahumفِىinfīسَبِيلِ(the) waysabīliٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَمَاand notwamāضَعُفُوا۟they weakenedḍaʿufūوَمَاand notwamāٱسْتَكَانُوا۟ ۗthey gave inis'takānūوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuيُحِبُّlovesyuḥibbuٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَthe patient onesl-ṣābirīna١٤٦
Combien de Prophètes ont combattu, en compagnie de beaucoup de disciples, ceux-ci ne fléchirent pas à cause de ce qui les atteignit dans le sentier d’Allah. Ils ne faiblirent pas et ils ne cédèrent point. Et Allah aime les endurants.
3:147
وَمَاAnd notwamāكَانَwerekānaقَوْلَهُمْtheir wordsqawlahumإِلَّآexceptillāأَنthatanقَالُوا۟they saidqālūرَبَّنَاOur Lordrabbanāٱغْفِرْforgiveigh'firلَنَاfor uslanāذُنُوبَنَاour sinsdhunūbanāوَإِسْرَافَنَاand our excesseswa-is'rāfanāفِىٓinfīأَمْرِنَاour affairsamrināوَثَبِّتْand make firmwathabbitأَقْدَامَنَاour feetaqdāmanāوَٱنصُرْنَاand give us victorywa-unṣur'nāعَلَىoverʿalāٱلْقَوْمِ[the people]l-qawmiٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَthe disbelieversl-kāfirīna١٤٧
Et ils n’eurent que cette parole : "Seigneur ! Pardonne-nous nos péchés ainsi que nos excès dans nos comportements, affermis nos pas et donne-nous la victoire sur les gens mécréants !"
3:148
فَـَٔاتَىٰهُمُSo gave themfaātāhumuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuثَوَابَrewardthawābaٱلدُّنْيَا(in) the worldl-dun'yāوَحُسْنَand goodwaḥus'naثَوَابِrewardthawābiٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۗ(in) the Hereafterl-ākhiratiوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuيُحِبُّlovesyuḥibbuٱلْمُحْسِنِينَthe good-doersl-muḥ'sinīna١٤٨
Allah, donc, leur donna la récompense d’ici-bas, ainsi que la belle récompense de l’au-delà. Et Allah aime les gens bienfaisants.
3:149
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO youyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَwhoalladhīnaءَامَنُوٓا۟believeāmanūإِنIfinتُطِيعُوا۟you obeytuṭīʿūٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūيَرُدُّوكُمْthey will turn you backyaruddūkumعَلَىٰٓonʿalāأَعْقَـٰبِكُمْyour heelsaʿqābikumفَتَنقَلِبُوا۟then you will turn backfatanqalibūخَـٰسِرِينَ(as) loserskhāsirīna١٤٩
Ô les croyants! Si vous obéissez à ceux qui ne croient pas, ils vous feront retourner en arrière. Et vous reviendrez perdants.
3:150
بَلِNaybaliٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuمَوْلَىٰكُمْ ۖ(is) your Protectormawlākumوَهُوَand Hewahuwaخَيْرُ(is the) bestkhayruٱلنَّـٰصِرِينَ(of) the Helpersl-nāṣirīna١٥٠
Mais c’est Allah votre Maître. Il est meilleur des secoureurs.
3:151
سَنُلْقِىWe will castsanul'qīفِىinfīقُلُوبِ(the) heartsqulūbiٱلَّذِينَ(of) those whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūٱلرُّعْبَ[the] terrorl-ruʿ'baبِمَآbecausebimāأَشْرَكُوا۟they associated partnersashrakūبِٱللَّهِwith Allahbil-lahiمَاwhatmāلَمْnotlamيُنَزِّلْHe sent downyunazzilبِهِۦabout itbihiسُلْطَـٰنًۭا ۖany authoritysul'ṭānanوَمَأْوَىٰهُمُand their refugewamawāhumuٱلنَّارُ ۚ(will be) the Firel-nāruوَبِئْسَand wretchedwabi'saمَثْوَى(is the) abodemathwāٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ[of] the wrongdoersl-ẓālimīna١٥١
Nous allons jeter l’effroi dans les cœurs des mécréants. Car ils ont associé à Allah (des idoles) sans aucune preuve descendue de Sa part. Le Feu sera leur refuge. Et quel mauvais séjour que celui des injustes !
3:152
وَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadصَدَقَكُمُfulfilled to youṣadaqakumuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuوَعْدَهُۥٓHis promisewaʿdahuإِذْwhenidhتَحُسُّونَهُمyou were killing themtaḥussūnahumبِإِذْنِهِۦ ۖby His permissionbi-idh'nihiحَتَّىٰٓuntilḥattāإِذَاwhenidhāفَشِلْتُمْyou lost couragefashil'tumوَتَنَـٰزَعْتُمْand you fell into disputewatanāzaʿtumفِىconcerningfīٱلْأَمْرِthe orderl-amriوَعَصَيْتُمand you disobeyedwaʿaṣaytumمِّنۢfromminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiمَآ[what]māأَرَىٰكُمHe (had) shown youarākumمَّاwhatmāتُحِبُّونَ ۚyou lovetuḥibbūnaمِنكُمAmong youminkumمَّن(are some) whomanيُرِيدُdesireyurīduٱلدُّنْيَاthe worldl-dun'yāوَمِنكُمand among youwaminkumمَّن(are some) whomanيُرِيدُdesireyurīduٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ ۚthe Hereafterl-ākhirataثُمَّThenthummaصَرَفَكُمْHe diverted youṣarafakumعَنْهُمْfrom themʿanhumلِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ ۖso that He may test youliyabtaliyakumوَلَقَدْAnd surelywalaqadعَفَاHe forgaveʿafāعَنكُمْ ۗyouʿankumوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuذُو(is the) Possessordhūفَضْلٍ(of) Bountyfaḍlinعَلَىforʿalāٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believersl-mu'minīna١٥٢
Et certes, Allah a tenu Sa promesse envers vous, quand par Sa permission vous les tuiez sans relâche, jusqu’au moment où vous avez fléchi, où vous vous êtes disputés à propos de l’ordre donné, et vous avez désobéi après qu’Il vous eut montré (la victoire) que vous aimez! Il en était parmi vous qui désiraient la vie d’ici-bas et il en était parmi vous qui désiraient l’au-delà. Puis Il vous a fait reculer devant eux, afin de vous éprouver. Et certes, Il vous a pardonné. Et Allah est Détenteur de la grâce envers les croyants .
3:153
۞ إِذْWhenidhتُصْعِدُونَyou were running uphilltuṣ'ʿidūnaوَلَاand notwalāتَلْوُۥنَcasting a glancetalwūnaعَلَىٰٓonʿalāأَحَدٍۢanyoneaḥadinوَٱلرَّسُولُwhile the Messengerwal-rasūluيَدْعُوكُمْwas calling youyadʿūkumفِىٓ[in]fīأُخْرَىٰكُمْ(from) behind youukh'rākumفَأَثَـٰبَكُمْSo (He) repaid youfa-athābakumغَمًّۢا(with) distressghammanبِغَمٍّۢon distressbighamminلِّكَيْلَاso that notlikaylāتَحْزَنُوا۟you grievetaḥzanūعَلَىٰoverʿalāمَاwhatmāفَاتَكُمْescaped youfātakumوَلَاand notwalāمَآwhatmāأَصَـٰبَكُمْ ۗ(had) befallen youaṣābakumوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuخَبِيرٌۢ(is) All-Awarekhabīrunبِمَاof whatbimāتَعْمَلُونَyou dotaʿmalūna١٥٣
(Rappelez-vous) quand vous fuyiez sans vous retourner vers personne, cependant que, derrière vous, le Messager vous appelait. Alors Il vous infligea angoisse sur angoisse, afin que vous n’ayez pas de chagrin pour ce qui vous a échappé ni pour les revers que vous avez subis. Et Allah est Parfaitement informé de ce que vous faites.
3:154
ثُمَّThenthummaأَنزَلَHe sent downanzalaعَلَيْكُمupon youʿalaykumمِّنۢfromminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiٱلْغَمِّthe distressl-ghamiأَمَنَةًۭsecurity amanatanنُّعَاسًۭاslumbernuʿāsanيَغْشَىٰovercomingyaghshāطَآئِفَةًۭa groupṭāifatanمِّنكُمْ ۖof youminkumوَطَآئِفَةٌۭwhile a groupwaṭāifatunقَدْcertainlyqadأَهَمَّتْهُمْworried [them]ahammathumأَنفُسُهُمْ(about) themselvesanfusuhumيَظُنُّونَthinkingyaẓunnūnaبِٱللَّهِabout Allahbil-lahiغَيْرَother thanghayraٱلْحَقِّthe truth l-ḥaqiظَنَّ(the) thoughtẓannaٱلْجَـٰهِلِيَّةِ ۖ(of) [the] ignorancel-jāhiliyatiيَقُولُونَsayingyaqūlūnaهَلIs (there)halلَّنَاfor uslanāمِنَfromminaٱلْأَمْرِthe matterl-amriمِنanyminشَىْءٍۢ ۗthingshayinقُلْSayqulإِنَّIndeedinnaٱلْأَمْرَthe matterl-amraكُلَّهُۥall (of) itkullahuلِلَّهِ ۗ(is) for AllahlillahiيُخْفُونَThey hideyukh'fūnaفِىٓinfīأَنفُسِهِمthemselvesanfusihimمَّاwhatmāلَاnotlāيُبْدُونَthey revealyub'dūnaلَكَ ۖto youlakaيَقُولُونَThey sayyaqūlūnaلَوْIflawكَانَwaskānaلَنَاfor uslanāمِنَfromminaٱلْأَمْرِthe matterl-amriشَىْءٌۭanythingshayonمَّاnotmāقُتِلْنَاwe would have been killedqutil'nāهَـٰهُنَا ۗherehāhunāقُلSayqulلَّوْIflawكُنتُمْyou werekuntumفِىinfīبُيُوتِكُمْyour housesbuyūtikumلَبَرَزَsurely (would have) come outlabarazaٱلَّذِينَthose who alladhīnaكُتِبَwas decreedkutibaعَلَيْهِمُupon themʿalayhimuٱلْقَتْلُ[the] deathl-qatluإِلَىٰtowardsilāمَضَاجِعِهِمْ ۖtheir places of deathmaḍājiʿihimوَلِيَبْتَلِىَAnd that might testwaliyabtaliyaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuمَاwhatmāفِى(is) infīصُدُورِكُمْyour breastsṣudūrikumوَلِيُمَحِّصَand that He may purgewaliyumaḥḥiṣaمَاwhatmāفِى(is) infīقُلُوبِكُمْ ۗyour heartsqulūbikumوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuعَلِيمٌۢ(is) All-Awareʿalīmunبِذَاتِof whatbidhātiٱلصُّدُورِ(is in) the breastsl-ṣudūri١٥٤
Puis, Il fit descendre sur vous, après l’angoisse, la tranquillité, un sommeil qui enveloppa une partie d’entre vous, tandis qu’une autre partie était soucieuse pour elle-même et avait des pensées sur Allah non conformes à la vérité, des pensées dignes de l’époque de l’Ignorance (Al Jâhiliyah). - Ils disaient: “Est-ce que nous avons une part dans cette affaire? ” Dis: “L’affaire toute entière est à Allah.” Ce qu’ils ne te révèlent pas, ils le cachent en eux-mêmes: “Si nous avions eu un choix quelconque dans cette affaire, disent-ils, nous n’aurions pas été tués ici.” Dis: “Eussiez-vous été dans vos maisons, ceux pour qui la mort était décrétée seraient sortis pour l’endroit où la mort les attendait. Ceci afin qu’Allah éprouve ce que vous avez dans vos poitrines, et qu’Il purifie ce que vous avez dans vos cœurs. Et Allah connaît ce que renferment les poitrines.
3:155
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaتَوَلَّوْا۟turned backtawallawمِنكُمْamong youminkumيَوْمَ(on the) dayyawmaٱلْتَقَىmetl-taqāٱلْجَمْعَانِthe two hosts l-jamʿāniإِنَّمَاonlyinnamāٱسْتَزَلَّهُمُmade them slipis'tazallahumuٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُthe Shaitaanl-shayṭānuبِبَعْضِfor somebibaʿḍiمَا(of) whatmāكَسَبُوا۟ ۖthey (had) earnedkasabūوَلَقَدْAnd surelywalaqadعَفَاforgaveʿafāٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuعَنْهُمْ ۗ[on] themʿanhumإِنَّindeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaغَفُورٌ(is) Oft-ForgivingghafūrunحَلِيمٌۭAll-Forbearingḥalīmun١٥٥
Ceux d’entre vous qui ont tourné le dos, le jour où les deux armées se rencontrèrent, c’est seulement le Diable qui les a fait broncher, à cause d’une partie de leurs (mauvaises) actions. Mais, certes, Allah leur a pardonné. Car vraiment Allah est Pardonneur et indulgent !
3:156
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO youyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَwhoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believe[d]āmanūلَا(Do) notlāتَكُونُوا۟betakūnūكَٱلَّذِينَlike those whoka-alladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievedkafarūوَقَالُوا۟and they saidwaqālūلِإِخْوَٰنِهِمْabout their brothersli-ikh'wānihimإِذَاwhenidhāضَرَبُوا۟they traveledḍarabūفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiأَوْorawكَانُوا۟they werekānūغُزًّۭىfightingghuzzanلَّوْIflawكَانُوا۟they had beenkānūعِندَنَاwith usʿindanāمَاnotmāمَاتُوا۟they (would have) diedmātūوَمَاand notwamāقُتِلُوا۟they (would have) been killedqutilūلِيَجْعَلَSo makesliyajʿalaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaحَسْرَةًۭa regretḥasratanفِىinfīقُلُوبِهِمْ ۗtheir heartsqulūbihimوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuيُحْىِۦgives lifeyuḥ'yīوَيُمِيتُ ۗand causes deathwayumītuوَٱللَّهُand Allahwal-lahuبِمَاof whatbimāتَعْمَلُونَyou dotaʿmalūnaبَصِيرٌۭ(is) All-Seerbaṣīrun١٥٦
Ô les croyants! Ne soyez pas comme ces mécréants qui dirent à propos de leurs frères partis en voyage ou pour combattre : "S’ils étaient chez nous, ils ne seraient pas morts, et ils n’auraient pas été tués." Allah en fit un sujet de regret dans leurs cœurs. C’est Allah qui donne la vie et la mort. Et Allah observe bien ce que vous faites.
3:157
وَلَئِنAnd ifwala-inقُتِلْتُمْyou are killedqutil'tumفِىinfīسَبِيلِ(the) waysabīliٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiأَوْorawمُتُّمْdie[d] muttumلَمَغْفِرَةٌۭcertainly forgivenesslamaghfiratunمِّنَfromminaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَرَحْمَةٌand Mercywaraḥmatunخَيْرٌۭ(are) betterkhayrunمِّمَّاthan whatmimmāيَجْمَعُونَthey accumulateyajmaʿūna١٥٧
Et si vous êtes tués dans le sentier d’Allah ou si vous mourez, un pardon de la part d’Allah et une miséricorde valent mieux que ce qu’ils amassent.
3:158
وَلَئِنAnd ifwala-inمُّتُّمْyou diemuttumأَوْorawقُتِلْتُمْare killedqutil'tumلَإِلَىsurely tola-ilāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiتُحْشَرُونَyou will be gatheredtuḥ'sharūna١٥٨
Que vous mouriez ou que vous soyez tués, c’est vers Allah que vous serez rassemblés.
3:159
فَبِمَاSo becausefabimāرَحْمَةٍۢ(of) MercyraḥmatinمِّنَfromminaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiلِنتَyou dealt gentlylintaلَهُمْ ۖwith themlahumوَلَوْAnd ifwalawكُنتَyou had beenkuntaفَظًّاrudefaẓẓanغَلِيظَ(and) harshghalīẓaٱلْقَلْبِ(at) [the] heartl-qalbiلَٱنفَضُّوا۟surely they (would have) dispersedla-infaḍḍūمِنْfromminحَوْلِكَ ۖaround youḥawlikaفَٱعْفُThen pardonfa-uʿ'fuعَنْهُمْ[from] themʿanhumوَٱسْتَغْفِرْand ask forgivenesswa-is'taghfirلَهُمْfor themlahumوَشَاوِرْهُمْand consult themwashāwir'humفِىinfīٱلْأَمْرِ ۖthe matterl-amriفَإِذَاThen whenfa-idhāعَزَمْتَyou have decidedʿazamtaفَتَوَكَّلْthen put trustfatawakkalعَلَىonʿalāٱللَّهِ ۚAllahl-lahiإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيُحِبُّlovesyuḥibbuٱلْمُتَوَكِّلِينَthe ones who put trust (in Him)l-mutawakilīna١٥٩
C’est par quelque miséricorde de la part d’Allah que tu (Muḥammad) as été si doux envers eux! Mais si tu avais été rude, au cœur dur, ils se seraient enfuis de ton entourage. Pardonne-leur donc, et implore pour eux le pardon (d’Allah). Et consulte-les à propos des affaires; puis, une fois que tu t’es décidé, confie-toi donc à Allah. Allah aime, en vérité, ceux qui Lui font confiance.
3:160
إِنIfinيَنصُرْكُمُhelps youyanṣur'kumuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuفَلَاthen notfalāغَالِبَ(can) overcomeghālibaلَكُمْ ۖ[for] youlakumوَإِنand ifwa-inيَخْذُلْكُمْHe forsakes youyakhdhul'kumفَمَنthen whofamanذَا(is)dhāٱلَّذِىthe one whoalladhīيَنصُرُكُمcan help youyanṣurukumمِّنۢfromminبَعْدِهِۦ ۗafter HimbaʿdihiوَعَلَىAnd onwaʿalāٱللَّهِAllah l-lahiفَلْيَتَوَكَّلِlet put (their) trustfalyatawakkaliٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَthe believersl-mu'minūna١٦٠
Si Allah vient à votre secours, nul ne pourra vous vaincre. S’Il vous abandonne, qui donc après Lui viendra vous secourir? C’est en Allah que les croyants doivent avoir confiance.
3:161
وَمَاAnd notwamāكَانَiskānaلِنَبِىٍّfor a Prophetlinabiyyinأَنthatanيَغُلَّ ۚhe defraudsyaghullaوَمَنAnd whoeverwamanيَغْلُلْdefraudsyaghlulيَأْتِwill bringyatiبِمَاwhatbimāغَلَّhe had defraudedghallaيَوْمَ(on the) Dayyawmaٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚ(of) Resurrectionl-qiyāmatiثُمَّThenthummaتُوَفَّىٰis repaid in fulltuwaffāكُلُّeverykulluنَفْسٍۢsoulnafsinمَّاwhatmāكَسَبَتْit earnedkasabatوَهُمْand theywahumلَا(will) notlāيُظْلَمُونَbe wrongedyuẓ'lamūna١٦١
Un Prophète n’est pas quelqu’un à s’approprier du butin. Quiconque s’en approprie, viendra avec ce qu’il se sera approprié le Jour de la Résurrection. Ensuite, chaque âme sera rétribuée pleinement pour ce qu’elle aura acquis. Et ils ne seront point lésés.
3:162
أَفَمَنِSo is (the one) whoafamaniٱتَّبَعَpursuesittabaʿaرِضْوَٰنَ(the) pleasureriḍ'wānaٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiكَمَنۢlike (the one) whokamanبَآءَdrawsbāaبِسَخَطٍۢon (himself) wrathbisakhaṭinمِّنَofminaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَمَأْوَىٰهُand his abodewamawāhuجَهَنَّمُ ۚ(is) helljahannamuوَبِئْسَand wretchedwabi'saٱلْمَصِيرُ(is) the destinationl-maṣīru١٦٢
Est-ce que celui qui se conforme à l’agrément d’Allah ressemble à celui qui encourt le courroux d’Allah? Son refuge sera l’Enfer; et quelle mauvaise destination !
3:163
هُمْTheyhumدَرَجَـٰتٌ(are in varying) degreesdarajātunعِندَnearʿindaٱللَّهِ ۗAllahl-lahiوَٱللَّهُand Allahwal-lahuبَصِيرٌۢ(is) All-Seerbaṣīrunبِمَاof whatbimāيَعْمَلُونَthey doyaʿmalūna١٦٣
Ils ont des degrés (différents) auprès d’Allah et Allah observe bien ce qu’ils font.
3:164
لَقَدْCertainlylaqadمَنَّbestowed a FavormannaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuعَلَىuponʿalāٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believersl-mu'minīnaإِذْasidhبَعَثَHe raisedbaʿathaفِيهِمْamong themfīhimرَسُولًۭاa Messengerrasūlanمِّنْfromminأَنفُسِهِمْthemselvesanfusihimيَتْلُوا۟recitingyatlūعَلَيْهِمْto themʿalayhimءَايَـٰتِهِۦHis Versesāyātihiوَيُزَكِّيهِمْand purifying themwayuzakkīhimوَيُعَلِّمُهُمُand teaching themwayuʿallimuhumuٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaوَٱلْحِكْمَةَand the wisdomwal-ḥik'mataوَإِنalthoughwa-inكَانُوا۟they werekānūمِنfromminقَبْلُbefore (that)qabluلَفِىcertainly inlafīضَلَـٰلٍۢ(the) errorḍalālinمُّبِينٍclearmubīnin١٦٤
Allah a très certainement fait une faveur aux croyants lorsqu’Il a envoyé chez eux un Messager issu d'eux-mêmes, qui leur récite Ses versets, les purifie et leur enseigne le Livre et la Sagesse, bien qu’ils fussent auparavant dans un égarement manifeste.
3:165
أَوَلَمَّآOr whenawalammāأَصَـٰبَتْكُمstruck youaṣābatkumمُّصِيبَةٌۭdisastermuṣībatunقَدْsurelyqadأَصَبْتُمyou (had) struck (them)aṣabtumمِّثْلَيْهَاtwice of itmith'layhāقُلْتُمْyou saidqul'tumأَنَّىٰFrom whereannāهَـٰذَا ۖ(is) thishādhāقُلْSayqulهُوَIthuwaمِنْ(is)minعِندِfromʿindiأَنفُسِكُمْ ۗyourselvesanfusikumإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaعَلَىٰ(is) onʿalāكُلِّeverykulliشَىْءٍۢthingshayinقَدِيرٌۭAll-Powerfulqadīrun١٦٥
Quoi ! Quand un malheur vous atteint - mais vous en avez jadis infligé le double - vous dites : "D’où vient cela ?" Réponds-leur : "Il vient de vous-mêmes ." Certes, Allah est Omnipotent.
3:166
وَمَآAnd whatwamāأَصَـٰبَكُمْstruck youaṣābakumيَوْمَ(on the) dayyawmaٱلْتَقَى(when) metl-taqāٱلْجَمْعَانِthe two hostsl-jamʿāniفَبِإِذْنِ(was) by (the) permissionfabi-idh'niٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَلِيَعْلَمَand that He (might) make evidentwaliyaʿlamaٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believersl-mu'minīna١٦٦
Et tout ce que vous avez subi, le jour où les deux troupes se rencontrèrent , c’est par permission d’Allah, et afin qu’Il distingue les croyants.
3:167
وَلِيَعْلَمَAnd that He (might) make evidentwaliyaʿlamaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaنَافَقُوا۟ ۚ(are) hypocritesnāfaqūوَقِيلَAnd it was saidwaqīlaلَهُمْto themlahumتَعَالَوْا۟Cometaʿālawقَـٰتِلُوا۟fightqātilūفِىinfīسَبِيلِ(the) waysabīliٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiأَوِorawiٱدْفَعُوا۟ ۖdefendid'faʿūقَالُوا۟They saidqālūلَوْIflawنَعْلَمُwe knewnaʿlamuقِتَالًۭاfightingqitālanلَّٱتَّبَعْنَـٰكُمْ ۗcertainly we (would have) followed youla-ittabaʿnākumهُمْThey humلِلْكُفْرِto disbelieflil'kuf'riيَوْمَئِذٍthat dayyawma-idhinأَقْرَبُ(were) neareraqrabuمِنْهُمْthan [them]min'humلِلْإِيمَـٰنِ ۚto the faithlil'īmāniيَقُولُونَsayingyaqūlūnaبِأَفْوَٰهِهِمwith their mouthsbi-afwāhihimمَّاwhatmāلَيْسَwas notlaysaفِىinfīقُلُوبِهِمْ ۗtheir heartsqulūbihimوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuأَعْلَمُ(is) Most Knowingaʿlamuبِمَاof whatbimāيَكْتُمُونَthey concealyaktumūna١٦٧
Et [afin] qu’Il distingue les hypocrites. On avait dit à ceux-ci : "Venez combattre dans le sentier d’Allah, ou repoussez [l’ennemi]" , ils dirent : "Bien sûr que nous vous suivrions si nous étions sûrs qu’il y aurait une guerre ." Ils étaient, ce jour-là, plus près de la mécréance que de la foi. Ils disaient de leurs bouches ce qui n’était pas dans leurs cœurs. Et Allah sait fort bien ce qu’ils cachaient.
3:168
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaقَالُوا۟saidqālūلِإِخْوَٰنِهِمْabout their brothersli-ikh'wānihimوَقَعَدُوا۟while they satwaqaʿadūلَوْIflawأَطَاعُونَاthey (had) obeyed usaṭāʿūnāمَاnotmāقُتِلُوا۟ ۗthey would have been killedqutilūقُلْSayqulفَٱدْرَءُوا۟Then avertfa-id'raūعَنْfromʿanأَنفُسِكُمُyourselvesanfusikumuٱلْمَوْتَ[the] deathl-mawtaإِنifinكُنتُمْyou arekuntumصَـٰدِقِينَtruthfulṣādiqīna١٦٨
Ceux qui sont restés dans leurs foyers dirent à leurs frères : "S’ils nous avaient obéi, ils n’auraient pas été tués." Dis : " Ecartez donc de vous la mort, si vous êtes véridiques !"
3:169
وَلَاAnd (do) notwalāتَحْسَبَنَّthinktaḥsabannaٱلَّذِينَ(of) those whoalladhīnaقُتِلُوا۟are killedqutilūفِىinfīسَبِيلِ(the) waysabīliٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiأَمْوَٰتًۢا ۚ(as) deadamwātanبَلْNaybalأَحْيَآءٌThey are aliveaḥyāonعِندَnearʿindaرَبِّهِمْtheir Lordrabbihimيُرْزَقُونَthey are given provisionyur'zaqūna١٦٩
Ne pense pas que ceux qui ont été tués dans le sentier d’Allah, soient morts. Au contraire, ils sont vivants, auprès de leur Seigneur, bien pourvus.
3:170
فَرِحِينَRejoicingfariḥīnaبِمَآin whatbimāءَاتَىٰهُمُbestowed themātāhumuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuمِنofminفَضْلِهِۦHis Bountyfaḍlihiوَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَand they receive good tidingswayastabshirūnaبِٱلَّذِينَabout those whobi-alladhīnaلَمْ(have) notlamيَلْحَقُوا۟yet joinedyalḥaqūبِهِم[with] thembihimمِّنْ[from]minخَلْفِهِمْ(but are) left behind khalfihimأَلَّاthat (there will be) noallāخَوْفٌfearkhawfunعَلَيْهِمْon themʿalayhimوَلَاand notwalāهُمْtheyhumيَحْزَنُونَwill grieveyaḥzanūna١٧٠
et joyeux de la faveur qu’Allah leur a accordée, et ravis que ceux qui sont restés derrière eux et ne les ont pas encore rejoints, ne connaîtront aucune crainte et ne seront point affligés.
3:171
۞ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَThey receive good tidingsyastabshirūnaبِنِعْمَةٍۢof Favorbiniʿ'matinمِّنَfromminaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَفَضْلٍۢand Bountywafaḍlinوَأَنَّand thatwa-annaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَا(does) notlāيُضِيعُlet go wasteyuḍīʿuأَجْرَ(the) rewardajraٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ(of) the believersl-mu'minīna١٧١
Ils sont ravis d’un bienfait d’Allah et d’une faveur, et du fait qu’Allah ne laisse pas perdre la récompense des croyants.
3:172
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaٱسْتَجَابُوا۟respondedis'tajābūلِلَّهِto Allahlillahiوَٱلرَّسُولِand the Messengerwal-rasūliمِنۢfromminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiمَآwhatmāأَصَابَهُمُbefell them aṣābahumuٱلْقَرْحُ ۚthe injury l-qarḥuلِلَّذِينَfor those wholilladhīnaأَحْسَنُوا۟did goodaḥsanūمِنْهُمْamong themmin'humوَٱتَّقَوْا۟and feared Allahwa-ittaqawأَجْرٌ(is) a reward ajrunعَظِيمٌgreatʿaẓīmun١٧٢
Ceux qui, quoiqu’atteints de blessure, répondirent à l’appel d’Allah et du Messager, il y aura une énorme récompense pour ceux d’entre eux qui ont agi en bien et pratiqué la piété .
3:173
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaقَالَsaidqālaلَهُمُto themlahumuٱلنَّاسُ[the people]l-nāsuإِنَّIndeedinnaٱلنَّاسَthe peoplel-nāsaقَدْ(have) certainlyqadجَمَعُوا۟gatheredjamaʿūلَكُمْagainst youlakumفَٱخْشَوْهُمْso fear themfa-ikh'shawhumفَزَادَهُمْBut it increased themfazādahumإِيمَـٰنًۭا(in) faithīmānanوَقَالُوا۟and they saidwaqālūحَسْبُنَاSufficient for usḥasbunāٱللَّهُ(is) Allahl-lahuوَنِعْمَand (He is the) bestwaniʿ'maٱلْوَكِيلُ[the] Disposer of affairsl-wakīlu١٧٣
Certes, ceux auxquels l’on disait : "Les gens se sont rassemblés contre vous; craignez-les !" - Cela accrut leur foi - et ils dirent : "Allah nous suffit; et Il est notre meilleur garant !"
3:174
فَٱنقَلَبُوا۟So they returnedfa-inqalabūبِنِعْمَةٍۢwith (the) Favorbiniʿ'matinمِّنَofminaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَفَضْلٍۢand Bountywafaḍlinلَّمْnotlamيَمْسَسْهُمْtouched themyamsashumسُوٓءٌۭany harmsūonوَٱتَّبَعُوا۟And they followedwa-ittabaʿūرِضْوَٰنَ(the) pleasureriḍ'wānaٱللَّهِ ۗ(of) Allahl-lahiوَٱللَّهُand Allahwal-lahuذُو(is) Possessordhūفَضْلٍ(of) Bountyfaḍlinعَظِيمٍgreatʿaẓīmin١٧٤
Ils revinrent donc avec un bienfait de la part d’Allah et une grâce. Nul mal ne les toucha et ils suivirent ce qui satisfait Allah. Et Allah est Détenteur d’une grâce immense.
3:175
إِنَّمَا(It is) onlyinnamāذَٰلِكُمُthatdhālikumuٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُthe Shaitaanl-shayṭānuيُخَوِّفُfrightens (you)yukhawwifuأَوْلِيَآءَهُۥ(of) his alliesawliyāahuفَلَاSo (do) notfalāتَخَافُوهُمْfear themtakhāfūhumوَخَافُونِbut fear Mewakhāfūniإِنifinكُنتُمyou arekuntumمُّؤْمِنِينَbelieversmu'minīna١٧٥
C’est le Diable qui vous fait peur de ses adhérents. N’ayez donc pas peur d’eux ! Mais ayez peur de Moi, si vous êtes croyants !
3:176
وَلَاAnd (let) notwalāيَحْزُنكَgrieve youyaḥzunkaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaيُسَـٰرِعُونَhastenyusāriʿūnaفِىin(to)fīٱلْكُفْرِ ۚ[the] disbeliefl-kuf'riإِنَّهُمْIndeed, theyinnahumلَنneverlanيَضُرُّوا۟will harmyaḍurrūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaشَيْـًۭٔا ۗ(in) anythingshayanيُرِيدُintendsyurīduٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuأَلَّاthat notallāيَجْعَلَHe will setyajʿalaلَهُمْfor themlahumحَظًّۭاany portionḥaẓẓanفِىinfīٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖthe Hereafterl-ākhiratiوَلَهُمْAnd for themwalahumعَذَابٌ(is) a punishmentʿadhābunعَظِيمٌgreatʿaẓīmun١٧٦
N’aie (ô Mohammad) aucun chagrin pour ceux qui se jettent rapidement dans la mécréance. En vérité, ils ne nuiront en rien à Allah. Allah tient à ne leur assigner aucune part de biens dans l’au-delà. Et pour eux il y aura un énorme châtiment.
3:177
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaٱشْتَرَوُا۟(have) purchasedish'tarawūٱلْكُفْرَ[the] disbeliefl-kuf'raبِٱلْإِيمَـٰنِwith the faithbil-īmāniلَنneverlanيَضُرُّوا۟will they harmyaḍurrūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaشَيْـًۭٔا(in) anythingshayanوَلَهُمْand for themwalahumعَذَابٌ(is) a punishmentʿadhābunأَلِيمٌۭpainfulalīmun١٧٧
Ceux qui auront troqué la croyance contre la mécréance ne nuiront en rien à Allah. Et pour eux un châtiment douloureux.
3:178
وَلَاAnd (let) notwalāيَحْسَبَنَّthinkyaḥsabannaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوٓا۟disbelievedkafarūأَنَّمَاthatannamāنُمْلِىWe give respitenum'līلَهُمْto themlahumخَيْرٌۭ(is) goodkhayrunلِّأَنفُسِهِمْ ۚfor themselvesli-anfusihimإِنَّمَاOnlyinnamāنُمْلِىWe give respitenum'līلَهُمْto themlahumلِيَزْدَادُوٓا۟so that they may increaseliyazdādūإِثْمًۭا ۚ(in) sinsith'manوَلَهُمْand for themwalahumعَذَابٌۭ(is) a punishmentʿadhābunمُّهِينٌۭhumiliatingmuhīnun١٧٨
Que ceux qui n’ont pas cru ne comptent pas que ce délai que Nous leur accordons soit à leur avantage. Si Nous leur accordons un délai, c’est seulement pour qu’ils augmentent leurs péchés. Et pour eux un châtiment avilissant.
3:179
مَّاNotmāكَانَiskānaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuلِيَذَرَto leaveliyadharaٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believersl-mu'minīnaعَلَىٰonʿalāمَآwhatmāأَنتُمْyou (are)antumعَلَيْهِin [it]ʿalayhiحَتَّىٰuntilḥattāيَمِيزَHe separatesyamīzaٱلْخَبِيثَthe evill-khabīthaمِنَfromminaٱلطَّيِّبِ ۗthe goodl-ṭayibiوَمَاAnd notwamāكَانَiskānaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuلِيُطْلِعَكُمْto inform youliyuṭ'liʿakumعَلَىaboutʿalāٱلْغَيْبِthe unseenl-ghaybiوَلَـٰكِنَّ[and] butwalākinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيَجْتَبِىchoosesyajtabīمِنfromminرُّسُلِهِۦHis Messengersrusulihiمَنwhommanيَشَآءُ ۖHe willsyashāuفَـَٔامِنُوا۟so believefaāminūبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiوَرُسُلِهِۦ ۚand His Messengerswarusulihiوَإِنand ifwa-inتُؤْمِنُوا۟you believetu'minūوَتَتَّقُوا۟and fear (Allah)watattaqūفَلَكُمْthen for youfalakumأَجْرٌ(is a) rewardajrunعَظِيمٌۭgreatʿaẓīmun١٧٩
Allah n’est point tel qu’Il laisse les croyants dans l’état où vous êtes jusqu’à ce qu’Il distingue le mauvais du bon. Et Allah n’est point tel qu’Il vous dévoile l’Inconnaissable. Mais Allah choisit par Ses Messagers qui Il veut. Croyez donc en Allah et en Ses Messagers. Et si vous avez la foi et la piété, vous aurez alors une récompense énorme.
3:180
وَلَاAnd (let) notwalāيَحْسَبَنَّthinkyaḥsabannaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaيَبْخَلُونَwithholdyabkhalūnaبِمَآof whatbimāءَاتَىٰهُمُ(has) given themātāhumuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuمِنofminفَضْلِهِۦHis Bountyfaḍlihiهُوَ(that) ithuwaخَيْرًۭا(is) goodkhayranلَّهُم ۖfor themlahumبَلْNaybalهُوَithuwaشَرٌّۭ(is) badsharrunلَّهُمْ ۖfor themlahumسَيُطَوَّقُونَTheir necks will be encircledsayuṭawwaqūnaمَا(with) whatmāبَخِلُوا۟they withheldbakhilūبِهِۦ[with it]bihiيَوْمَ(on the) Dayyawmaٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗ(of) [the] Resurrectionl-qiyāmatiوَلِلَّهِAnd for Allahwalillahiمِيرَٰثُ(is the) heritagemīrāthuٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗand the earthwal-arḍiوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuبِمَاwith whatbimāتَعْمَلُونَyou dotaʿmalūnaخَبِيرٌۭ(is) All-Awarekhabīrun١٨٠
Que ceux qui gardent avec avarice ce qu’Allah leur donne par Sa grâce ne comptent point cela comme bon pour eux. Au contraire, c’est mauvais pour eux: au Jour de la Résurrection, on leur attachera autour du cou de qu’ils ont gardé avec avarice. C’est Allah qui a l’héritage des cieux et de la terre. Et Allah est Parfaitement Connaisseur de ce que vous faites.
3:181
لَّقَدْCertainlylaqadسَمِعَheardsamiʿaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuقَوْلَ(the) sayingqawlaٱلَّذِينَ(of) those whoalladhīnaقَالُوٓا۟saidqālūإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaفَقِيرٌۭ(is) poorfaqīrunوَنَحْنُwhile wewanaḥnuأَغْنِيَآءُ ۘ(are) richaghniyāuسَنَكْتُبُWe will recordsanaktubuمَاwhatmāقَالُوا۟they saidqālūوَقَتْلَهُمُand their killingwaqatlahumuٱلْأَنۢبِيَآءَthe Prophetsl-anbiyāaبِغَيْرِwithoutbighayriحَقٍّۢ(any) rightḥaqqinوَنَقُولُand We will saywanaqūluذُوقُوا۟Tastedhūqūعَذَابَ(the) punishmentʿadhābaٱلْحَرِيقِ(of) the Burning Firel-ḥarīqi١٨١
Allah a certainement entendu la parole de ceux qui ont dit : "Allah est pauvre et nous somme riches ." Nous enregistrons leur parole, ainsi que leur meurtre, sans droit, des Prophètes. Et Nous leur dirons : "Goûtez au châtiment de la Fournaise !"
3:182
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaبِمَا(is) becausebimāقَدَّمَتْ(of what) sent forthqaddamatأَيْدِيكُمْyour handsaydīkumوَأَنَّand thatwa-annaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَيْسَis notlaysaبِظَلَّامٍۢunjustbiẓallāminلِّلْعَبِيدِto (His) slaveslil'ʿabīdi١٨٢
Cela, à cause de ce que vos mains ont accompli (antérieurement) !" Car Allah ne fait point de tort aux serviteurs.
3:183
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaقَالُوٓا۟saidqālūإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaعَهِدَ(has) taken promiseʿahidaإِلَيْنَآfrom usilaynāأَلَّاthat notallāنُؤْمِنَwe (should) believenu'minaلِرَسُولٍin a Messengerlirasūlinحَتَّىٰuntilḥattāيَأْتِيَنَاhe brings to usyatiyanāبِقُرْبَانٍۢa sacrifice biqur'bāninتَأْكُلُهُconsumes ittakuluhuٱلنَّارُ ۗthe firel-nāruقُلْSayqulقَدْSurelyqadجَآءَكُمْcame to youjāakumرُسُلٌۭMessengersrusulunمِّنfromminقَبْلِىbefore meqablīبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِwith the clear Signsbil-bayinātiوَبِٱلَّذِىand with whatwabi-alladhīقُلْتُمْyou speakqul'tumفَلِمَSo whyfalimaقَتَلْتُمُوهُمْyou killed themqataltumūhumإِنifinكُنتُمْyou arekuntumصَـٰدِقِينَtruthfulṣādiqīna١٨٣
Ceux-là mêmes qui ont dit : "Vraiment Allah nous a enjoint de ne pas croire en un Messager tant qu’Il ne nous a pas apporté une offrande que le feu consume". - Dis : "Des Messagers avant moi vous sont, certes, venus avec des preuves (évidentes), et avec ce que vous avez dit [demandé]. Pourquoi donc les avez-vous tués, si vous êtes véridiques ?"
3:184
فَإِنThen iffa-inكَذَّبُوكَthey reject youkadhabūkaفَقَدْthen certainlyfaqadكُذِّبَwere rejectedkudhibaرُسُلٌۭMessengersrusulunمِّنfromminقَبْلِكَbefore youqablikaجَآءُو(who) camejāūبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِwith the clear Signsbil-bayinātiوَٱلزُّبُرِand the Scriptureswal-zuburiوَٱلْكِتَـٰبِand the Book wal-kitābiٱلْمُنِيرِ[the] Enlighteningl-munīri١٨٤
S’ils te (Mohammad) traitent de menteur; des Prophètes avant toi, ont certes été traités de menteurs. Ils étaient venus avec les preuves claires, les Psaumes et le Livre lumineux.
3:185
كُلُّEverykulluنَفْسٍۢsoulnafsinذَآئِقَةُ(will) tastedhāiqatuٱلْمَوْتِ ۗ[the] deathl-mawtiوَإِنَّمَاand onlywa-innamāتُوَفَّوْنَyou will be paid in fulltuwaffawnaأُجُورَكُمْyour rewardujūrakumيَوْمَ(on the) Dayyawmaٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۖ(of) [the] Resurrectionl-qiyāmatiفَمَنThen whoeverfamanزُحْزِحَis drawn awayzuḥ'ziḥaعَنِfromʿaniٱلنَّارِthe Firel-nāriوَأُدْخِلَand admittedwa-ud'khilaٱلْجَنَّةَ(to) Paradisel-janataفَقَدْthen surelyfaqadفَازَ ۗhe is successfulfāzaوَمَاAnd notwamāٱلْحَيَوٰةُ(is) the lifel-ḥayatuٱلدُّنْيَآ(of) the worldl-dun'yāإِلَّاexceptillāمَتَـٰعُenjoymentmatāʿuٱلْغُرُورِ(of) delusionl-ghurūri١٨٥
Toute âme goûtera la mort. Mais c’est seulement au Jour de la Résurrection que vous recevrez votre entière rétribution. Quiconque donc est écarté du Feu et introduit au Paradis, a certes réussi. Et la vie présente n’est qu’un objet de jouissance trompeuse.
3:186
۞ لَتُبْلَوُنَّYou will certainly be testedlatub'lawunnaفِىٓinfīأَمْوَٰلِكُمْyour wealthamwālikumوَأَنفُسِكُمْand yourselveswa-anfusikumوَلَتَسْمَعُنَّAnd you will certainly hearwalatasmaʿunnaمِنَfromminaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaأُوتُوا۟were givenūtūٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaمِنfromminقَبْلِكُمْbefore youqablikumوَمِنَand fromwaminaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaأَشْرَكُوٓا۟associate partners with Allah ashrakūأَذًۭىhurtful thingsadhanكَثِيرًۭا ۚmanykathīranوَإِنand ifwa-inتَصْبِرُوا۟you are patienttaṣbirūوَتَتَّقُوا۟and fear (Allah)watattaqūفَإِنَّthen indeedfa-innaذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaمِنْ(is) ofminعَزْمِthe mattersʿazmiٱلْأُمُورِ(of) determinationl-umūri١٨٦
Certes vous serez éprouvés dans vos biens et vos personnes; et certes vous entendrez de la part de ceux à qui le Livre a été donné avant vous, et de la part des polythéistes, beaucoup de propos désagréables. Mais si vous êtes endurants et pieux... voilà bien la meilleure résolution à prendre.
3:187
وَإِذْAnd whenwa-idhأَخَذَtookakhadhaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuمِيثَـٰقَa Covenantmīthāqaٱلَّذِينَ(from) those whoalladhīnaأُوتُوا۟were givenūtūٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaلَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُۥYou certainly make it clearlatubayyinunnahuلِلنَّاسِto the mankindlilnnāsiوَلَاand (do) notwalāتَكْتُمُونَهُۥconceal ittaktumūnahuفَنَبَذُوهُThen they threw itfanabadhūhuوَرَآءَbehindwarāaظُهُورِهِمْtheir backsẓuhūrihimوَٱشْتَرَوْا۟and they exchangedwa-ish'tarawبِهِۦ[with] itbihiثَمَنًۭا(for) a pricethamananقَلِيلًۭا ۖlittleqalīlanفَبِئْسَAnd wretchedfabi'saمَا(is) whatmāيَشْتَرُونَthey purchaseyashtarūna١٨٧
Allah prit, de ceux auxquels le Livre avait été donné, cet engagement: “Exposez-le, certes, aux gens et ne le cachez pas.” Mais ils l’ont jeté derrière leur dos et l’ont vendu à vil prix. Quel mauvais commerce ils ont fait!
3:188
لَا(Do) notlāتَحْسَبَنَّthinktaḥsabannaٱلَّذِينَ(that) those whoalladhīnaيَفْرَحُونَrejoiceyafraḥūnaبِمَآin whatbimāأَتَوا۟(they have) broughtatawوَّيُحِبُّونَand they lovewayuḥibbūnaأَنthatanيُحْمَدُوا۟they be praisedyuḥ'madūبِمَاfor whatbimāلَمْnotlamيَفْعَلُوا۟they do yafʿalūفَلَاso (do) notfalāتَحْسَبَنَّهُمthink (that) theytaḥsabannahumبِمَفَازَةٍۢ(will) escapebimafāzatinمِّنَfromminaٱلْعَذَابِ ۖthe punishmentl-ʿadhābiوَلَهُمْand for themwalahumعَذَابٌ(is a) punishmentʿadhābunأَلِيمٌۭpainfulalīmun١٨٨
Ne pense point que ceux-là qui exultent de ce qu’ils ont fait, et qui aiment qu’on les loue pour ce qu’ils n’ont pas fait, ne pense point donc, qu’ils trouvent une échappatoire au châtiment. Pour eux, il y aura un châtiment douloureux!
3:189
وَلِلَّهِAnd for Allahwalillahiمُلْكُ(is the) dominionmul'kuٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗand the earthwal-arḍiوَٱللَّهُand Allahwal-lahuعَلَىٰ(is) onʿalāكُلِّeverykulliشَىْءٍۢthingshayinقَدِيرٌAll-Powerfulqadīrun١٨٩
A Allah appartient le royaume des cieux et de la terre. Et Allah est Omnipotent.
3:190
إِنَّIndeedinnaفِىinfīخَلْقِ(the) creationkhalqiٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِand the earthwal-arḍiوَٱخْتِلَـٰفِand (in the) alternationwa-ikh'tilāfiٱلَّيْلِ(of) the nightal-layliوَٱلنَّهَارِand the daywal-nahāriلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ(are) surely Signslaāyātinلِّأُو۟لِىfor menli-ulīٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ(of) understandingl-albābi١٩٠
En vérité, dans la création des cieux et de la terre, et dans l’alternance de la nuit et du jour, il y a certes des signes pour les doués d’intelligence,
3:191
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaيَذْكُرُونَrememberyadhkurūnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaقِيَـٰمًۭاstandingqiyāmanوَقُعُودًۭاand sittingwaquʿūdanوَعَلَىٰand onwaʿalāجُنُوبِهِمْtheir sidesjunūbihimوَيَتَفَكَّرُونَand they reflectwayatafakkarūnaفِىonfīخَلْقِ(the) creationkhalqiٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِand the earthwal-arḍiرَبَّنَاOur LordrabbanāمَاnotmāخَلَقْتَYou have createdkhalaqtaهَـٰذَاthishādhāبَـٰطِلًۭا(in) vainbāṭilanسُبْحَـٰنَكَGlory be to Yousub'ḥānakaفَقِنَاso save usfaqināعَذَابَ(from the) punishmentʿadhābaٱلنَّارِ(of) the Firel-nāri١٩١
qui, debout, assis, couchés sur leurs côtés, invoquent Allah et méditent sur la création des cieux et de la terre (disant): “ Notre Seigneur! Tu n’as pas créé cela en vain. Gloire à Toi! Épargne-nous du châtiment du Feu.
3:192
رَبَّنَآOur Lordrabbanāإِنَّكَindeed [You]innakaمَنwhommanتُدْخِلِYou admittud'khiliٱلنَّارَ(to) the Firel-nāraفَقَدْthen surelyfaqadأَخْزَيْتَهُۥ ۖYou (have) disgraced himakhzaytahuوَمَاand notwamāلِلظَّـٰلِمِينَfor the wrongdoerslilẓẓālimīnaمِنْ(are) anyminأَنصَارٍۢhelpersanṣārin١٩٢
Seigneur! Quiconque Tu fais entrer dans le Feu, Tu le couvres vraiment d’ignominie. Et pour les injustes, il n’y aura pas de secoureurs!
3:193
رَّبَّنَآOur Lordrabbanāإِنَّنَاindeed weinnanāسَمِعْنَا[we] heardsamiʿ'nāمُنَادِيًۭاa callermunādiyanيُنَادِىcallingyunādīلِلْإِيمَـٰنِto the faithlil'īmāniأَنْthatanءَامِنُوا۟Believeāminūبِرَبِّكُمْin your Lordbirabbikumفَـَٔامَنَّا ۚso we have believedfaāmannāرَبَّنَاOur Lordrabbanāفَٱغْفِرْso forgivefa-igh'firلَنَاfor uslanāذُنُوبَنَاour sinsdhunūbanāوَكَفِّرْand removewakaffirعَنَّاfrom usʿannāسَيِّـَٔاتِنَاour evil deedssayyiātināوَتَوَفَّنَاand cause us to diewatawaffanāمَعَwithmaʿaٱلْأَبْرَارِthe righteousl-abrāri١٩٣
Seigneur! Nous avons entendu l’appel de celui qui a appelé ainsi à la foi: "Croyez en votre Seigneur !" Et dès lors nous avons cru. Seigneur ! Pardonne-nous nos péchés, efface de nous nos méfaits, et place nous, à notre mort, avec les gens de bien.
3:194
رَبَّنَاOur Lordrabbanāوَءَاتِنَاgrant uswaātināمَاwhatmāوَعَدتَّنَاYou promised uswaʿadttanāعَلَىٰthroughʿalāرُسُلِكَYour Messengersrusulikaوَلَاand (do) notwalāتُخْزِنَاdisgrace ustukh'zināيَوْمَ(on the) Dayyawmaٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗ(of) [the] Resurrectionl-qiyāmatiإِنَّكَIndeed, Youinnakaلَا(do) notlāتُخْلِفُbreaktukh'lifuٱلْمِيعَادَthe promisel-mīʿāda١٩٤
Seigneur! Donne-nous ce que Tu nous as promis par Tes Messagers. Et ne nous couvre pas d’ignominie au Jour de la Résurrection. Car Toi, Tu ne manques pas à Ta promesse".
3:195
فَٱسْتَجَابَThen respondedfa-is'tajābaلَهُمْto themlahumرَبُّهُمْtheir LordrabbuhumأَنِّىIndeed, Iannīلَآ(will) notlāأُضِيعُ(let go) wasteuḍīʿuعَمَلَdeedsʿamalaعَـٰمِلٍۢ(of the) doerʿāmilinمِّنكُمamong youminkumمِّن[from]minذَكَرٍ(whether) maledhakarinأَوْorawأُنثَىٰ ۖfemaleunthāبَعْضُكُمeach of youbaʿḍukumمِّنۢfromminبَعْضٍۢ ۖ(the) otherbaʿḍinفَٱلَّذِينَSo those whofa-alladhīnaهَاجَرُوا۟emigratedhājarūوَأُخْرِجُوا۟and were driven outwa-ukh'rijūمِنfromminدِيَـٰرِهِمْtheir homesdiyārihimوَأُوذُوا۟and were harmedwaūdhūفِىinfīسَبِيلِىMy waysabīlīوَقَـٰتَلُوا۟and foughtwaqātalūوَقُتِلُوا۟and were killed waqutilūلَأُكَفِّرَنَّsurely I (will) removela-ukaffirannaعَنْهُمْfrom themʿanhumسَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْtheir evil deedssayyiātihimوَلَأُدْخِلَنَّهُمْand surely I will admit themwala-ud'khilannahumجَنَّـٰتٍۢ(to) Gardensjannātinتَجْرِىflowingtajrīمِنfromminتَحْتِهَاunderneath themtaḥtihāٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُthe rivers l-anhāruثَوَابًۭاa rewardthawābanمِّنْfromminعِندِ[near]ʿindiٱللَّهِ ۗAllahl-lahiوَٱللَّهُAnd Allah wal-lahuعِندَهُۥwith Himʿindahuحُسْنُ(is the) bestḥus'nuٱلثَّوَابِrewardl-thawābi١٩٥
Leur Seigneur les a alors exaucés (disant) : "En vérité, Je ne laisse pas perdre le bien que quiconque parmi vous a fait, homme ou femme, car vous êtes les uns des autres. Donc, ceux qui ont émigré, qui ont été expulsés de leurs demeures, qui ont été persécutés dans Mon chemin, qui ont combattu, qui ont été tués, Je tiendrai certes pour expiées leurs mauvaises actions, et les ferai entrer dans les Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux, comme récompense de la part d’Allah ." Quant à Allah, c’est auprès de Lui qu’est la plus belle récompense.
3:196
لَا(Let) notlāيَغُرَّنَّكَdeceive youyaghurrannakaتَقَلُّبُ(the) movementtaqallubuٱلَّذِينَ(of) those whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievedkafarūفِىinfīٱلْبِلَـٰدِthe landl-bilādi١٩٦
Que ne t’abuse point la versatilité [pour la prospérité] dans le pays, de ceux qui sont infidèles.
3:197
مَتَـٰعٌۭAn enjoymentmatāʿunقَلِيلٌۭlittleqalīlunثُمَّthenthummaمَأْوَىٰهُمْtheir abodemawāhumجَهَنَّمُ ۚ(is) hell jahannamuوَبِئْسَ[and] a wretchedwabi'saٱلْمِهَادُ[the] resting placel-mihādu١٩٧
Piètre jouissance! Puis leur refuge sera l’Enfer. Et quelle détestable couche !
3:198
لَـٰكِنِButlākiniٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaٱتَّقَوْا۟fearittaqawرَبَّهُمْtheir Lordrabbahumلَهُمْfor themlahumجَنَّـٰتٌۭ(will be) Gardensjannātunتَجْرِىflowstajrīمِنfromminتَحْتِهَاunderneath themtaḥtihāٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُthe riversl-anhāruخَـٰلِدِينَwill abide foreverkhālidīnaفِيهَاin it fīhāنُزُلًۭاa hospitalitynuzulanمِّنْfromminعِندِ[near]ʿindiٱللَّهِ ۗAllahl-lahiوَمَاAnd whatwamāعِندَ(is) withʿindaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiخَيْرٌۭ(is) bestkhayrunلِّلْأَبْرَارِfor the righteouslil'abrāri١٩٨
Mais quant à ceux qui craignent leur Seigneur, ils auront des Jardins sous lesquels coulent les ruisseaux, pour y demeurer éternellement, un lieu d’accueil de la part d’Allah. Et ce qu’il y a auprès d’Allah est meilleur, pour les pieux.
3:199
وَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaمِنْamongminأَهْلِ(the) Peopleahliٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(of) the Bookl-kitābiلَمَن(are those) wholamanيُؤْمِنُbelieveyu'minuبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiوَمَآand whatwamāأُنزِلَwas revealedunzilaإِلَيْكُمْto youilaykumوَمَآand whatwamāأُنزِلَwas revealedunzilaإِلَيْهِمْto them ilayhimخَـٰشِعِينَhumbly submissivekhāshiʿīnaلِلَّهِto AllahlillahiلَاNotlāيَشْتَرُونَ(do) they exchangeyashtarūnaبِـَٔايَـٰتِ[with] (the) Versesbiāyātiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiثَمَنًۭا(for) a pricethamananقَلِيلًا ۗlittleqalīlanأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَThoseulāikaلَهُمْfor themlahumأَجْرُهُمْtheir rewardajruhumعِندَ(is) withʿindaرَبِّهِمْ ۗtheir LordrabbihimإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaسَرِيعُ(is) swiftsarīʿuٱلْحِسَابِ(in taking) the accountl-ḥisābi١٩٩
Il y a certes, parmi les gens du Livre ceux qui croient en Allah et en ce qu’on a fait descendre vers vous et en ceux qu’on a fait descendre vers eux. Ils sont humbles envers Allah, et ne vendent point les versets d’Allah à vil prix. Voilà ceux dont la récompense est auprès de leur Seigneur. En vérité, Allah est prompt à faire les comptes.
3:200
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاO youyāayyuhāٱلَّذِينَwhoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believe[d]āmanūٱصْبِرُوا۟Be steadfastiṣ'birūوَصَابِرُوا۟and [be] patientwaṣābirūوَرَابِطُوا۟and [be] constantwarābiṭūوَٱتَّقُوا۟and fearwa-ittaqūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَعَلَّكُمْso that you maylaʿallakumتُفْلِحُونَ(be) successfultuf'liḥūna٢٠٠
Ô les croyants! Soyez endurants. Incitez-vous à l’endurance. Luttez constamment (contre l’ennemi) et craignez Allah, afin que vous réussissiez!
