المطففين
سورة المطففين (المطففين) هي السورة رقم ٨٣ في القرآن الكريم — وهي سورة مكية تتألف من ٣٦ آية. السور المكية نزلت قبل هجرة النبي محمد ﷺ إلى المدينة، وتركّز غالبًا على الإيمان وتوحيد الله والآخرة.

بسملة
بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
٨٣:١
وَيْلٌۭWoewaylunلِّلْمُطَفِّفِينَto those who give lesslil'muṭaffifīna١
Woe to those who give less [than due],
٨٣:٢
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaإِذَاwhenidhāٱكْتَالُوا۟they take a measureik'tālūعَلَىfromʿalāٱلنَّاسِthe peoplel-nāsiيَسْتَوْفُونَthey take in fullyastawfūna٢
Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full.
٨٣:٣
وَإِذَاBut whenwa-idhāكَالُوهُمْthey give by measure (to) themkālūhumأَوorawوَّزَنُوهُمْthey weigh (for) themwazanūhumيُخْسِرُونَthey give lessyukh'sirūna٣
But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss.
٨٣:٤
أَلَاDo notalāيَظُنُّthinkyaẓunnuأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthoseulāikaأَنَّهُمthat theyannahumمَّبْعُوثُونَ(will be) resurrectedmabʿūthūna٤
Do they not think that they will be resurrected
٨٣:٥
لِيَوْمٍFor a DayliyawminعَظِيمٍۢGreatʿaẓīmin٥
For a tremendous Day -
٨٣:٦
يَوْمَ(The) Dayyawmaيَقُومُwill standyaqūmuٱلنَّاسُmankindl-nāsuلِرَبِّbefore (the) Lordlirabbiٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ(of) the worldsl-ʿālamīna٦
The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds?
٨٣:٧
كَلَّآNaykallāإِنَّIndeedinnaكِتَـٰبَ(the) recordkitābaٱلْفُجَّارِ(of) the wickedl-fujāriلَفِى(is) surely inlafīسِجِّينٍۢSijjinsijjīnin٧
No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen.
٨٣:٨
وَمَآAnd whatwamāأَدْرَىٰكَcan make you knowadrākaمَاwhatmāسِجِّينٌۭ(is) Sijjinsijjīnun٨
And what can make you know what is sijjeen?
٨٣:٩
كِتَـٰبٌۭA bookkitābunمَّرْقُومٌۭwrittenmarqūmun٩
It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed.
٨٣:١٠
وَيْلٌۭWoewaylunيَوْمَئِذٍۢthat Dayyawma-idhinلِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَto the denierslil'mukadhibīna١٠
Woe, that Day, to the deniers,
٨٣:١١
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaيُكَذِّبُونَdenyyukadhibūnaبِيَوْمِ(the) Daybiyawmiٱلدِّينِ(of) the Judgmentl-dīni١١
Who deny the Day of Recompense.
٨٣:١٢
وَمَاAnd notwamāيُكَذِّبُcan denyyukadhibuبِهِۦٓ[of] itbihiإِلَّاexceptillāكُلُّeverykulluمُعْتَدٍtransgressormuʿ'tadinأَثِيمٍsinfulathīmin١٢
And none deny it except every sinful transgressor.
٨٣:١٣
إِذَاWhenidhāتُتْلَىٰare recitedtut'lāعَلَيْهِto himʿalayhiءَايَـٰتُنَاOur Versesāyātunāقَالَhe saysqālaأَسَـٰطِيرُStoriesasāṭīruٱلْأَوَّلِينَ(of) the former (people)l-awalīna١٣
When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples."
٨٣:١٤
كَلَّا ۖNaykallāبَلْ ۜButbalرَانَ(the) stain has coveredrānaعَلَىٰ[over]ʿalāقُلُوبِهِمtheir heartsqulūbihimمَّا(for) whatmāكَانُوا۟they used tokānūيَكْسِبُونَearnyaksibūna١٤
No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning.
٨٣:١٥
كَلَّآNaykallāإِنَّهُمْIndeed, theyinnahumعَنfromʿanرَّبِّهِمْtheir Lordrabbihimيَوْمَئِذٍۢthat Dayyawma-idhinلَّمَحْجُوبُونَsurely will be partitionedlamaḥjūbūna١٥
No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned.
٨٣:١٦
ثُمَّThenthummaإِنَّهُمْindeed, theyinnahumلَصَالُوا۟(surely) will burnlaṣālūٱلْجَحِيمِ(in) the Hellfirel-jaḥīmi١٦
Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire.
٨٣:١٧
ثُمَّThenthummaيُقَالُit will be saidyuqāluهَـٰذَاThishādhāٱلَّذِى(is) whatalladhīكُنتُمyou used tokuntumبِهِۦ[of it]bihiتُكَذِّبُونَdenytukadhibūna١٧
Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny."
٨٣:١٨
كَلَّآNaykallāإِنَّIndeedinnaكِتَـٰبَ(the) recordkitābaٱلْأَبْرَارِ(of) the righteousl-abrāriلَفِى(will be) surely inlafīعِلِّيِّينَIlliyinʿilliyyīna١٨
No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in ʿilliyyūn.
٨٣:١٩
وَمَآAnd whatwamāأَدْرَىٰكَcan make you knowadrākaمَاwhatmāعِلِّيُّونَ(is) Illiyunʿilliyyūna١٩
And what can make you know what is ʿilliyyūn?
٨٣:٢٠
كِتَـٰبٌۭA bookkitābunمَّرْقُومٌۭwrittenmarqūmun٢٠
It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed
٨٣:٢١
يَشْهَدُهُWitness ityashhaduhuٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَthose brought nearl-muqarabūna٢١
Which is witnessed by those brought near [to Allāh].
٨٣:٢٢
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلْأَبْرَارَthe righteousl-abrāraلَفِى(will be) surely inlafīنَعِيمٍblissnaʿīmin٢٢
Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure
٨٣:٢٣
عَلَىOnʿalāٱلْأَرَآئِكِthronesl-arāikiيَنظُرُونَobservingyanẓurūna٢٣
On adorned couches, observing.
٨٣:٢٤
تَعْرِفُYou will recognizetaʿrifuفِىinfīوُجُوهِهِمْtheir faceswujūhihimنَضْرَةَ(the) radiancenaḍrataٱلنَّعِيمِ(of) blissl-naʿīmi٢٤
You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure.
٨٣:٢٥
يُسْقَوْنَThey will be given to drinkyus'qawnaمِنofminرَّحِيقٍۢa pure wineraḥīqinمَّخْتُومٍsealedmakhtūmin٢٥
They will be given to drink [pure] wine [which was] sealed.
٨٣:٢٦
خِتَـٰمُهُۥIts sealkhitāmuhuمِسْكٌۭ ۚ(will be of) muskmis'kunوَفِىAnd forwafīذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaفَلْيَتَنَافَسِlet aspirefalyatanāfasiٱلْمُتَنَـٰفِسُونَthe aspirersl-mutanāfisūna٢٦
The last of it is musk. So for this let the competitors compete.
٨٣:٢٧
وَمِزَاجُهُۥAnd its mixturewamizājuhuمِن(is) ofminتَسْنِيمٍTasneemtasnīmin٢٧
And its mixture is of Tasneem,
٨٣:٢٨
عَيْنًۭاA springʿaynanيَشْرَبُwill drinkyashrabuبِهَاfrom itbihāٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَthose brought nearl-muqarabūna٢٨
A spring from which those near [to Allāh] drink.
٨٣:٢٩
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaأَجْرَمُوا۟committed crimesajramūكَانُوا۟used tokānūمِنَatminaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believedāmanūيَضْحَكُونَlaughyaḍḥakūna٢٩
Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.
٨٣:٣٠
وَإِذَاAnd whenwa-idhāمَرُّوا۟they passedmarrūبِهِمْby thembihimيَتَغَامَزُونَthey winked at one anotheryataghāmazūna٣٠
And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances.
٨٣:٣١
وَإِذَاAnd whenwa-idhāٱنقَلَبُوٓا۟they returnedinqalabūإِلَىٰٓtoilāأَهْلِهِمُtheir peopleahlihimuٱنقَلَبُوا۟they would returninqalabūفَكِهِينَjestingfakihīna٣١
And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting.
٨٣:٣٢
وَإِذَاAnd whenwa-idhāرَأَوْهُمْthey saw themra-awhumقَالُوٓا۟they saidqālūإِنَّIndeedinnaهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِthesehāulāiلَضَآلُّونَsurely have gone astraylaḍāllūna٣٢
And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost."
٨٣:٣٣
وَمَآBut notwamāأُرْسِلُوا۟they had been sentur'silūعَلَيْهِمْover themʿalayhimحَـٰفِظِينَ(as) guardiansḥāfiẓīna٣٣
But they had not been sent as guardians over them.
٨٣:٣٤
فَٱلْيَوْمَSo todayfal-yawmaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believed āmanūمِنَatminaٱلْكُفَّارِthe disbelieversl-kufāriيَضْحَكُونَthey will laughyaḍḥakūna٣٤
So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers,
٨٣:٣٥
عَلَىOnʿalāٱلْأَرَآئِكِthe thronesl-arāikiيَنظُرُونَobservingyanẓurūna٣٥
On adorned couches, observing.
٨٣:٣٦
هَلْHave (not)halثُوِّبَbeen rewardedthuwwibaٱلْكُفَّارُthe disbelieversl-kufāruمَا(for) whatmāكَانُوا۟they used tokānūيَفْعَلُونَdoyafʿalūna٣٦
Have the disbelievers [not] been rewarded [this Day] for what they used to do?
