Mecquoise 26 Versets Juz 1
الغاشية

La sourate Al-Ghashiyah (الغاشية) est le 88e chapitre du Saint Coran — une sourate Mecquoise de 26 versets. Les sourates mecquoises ont été révélées avant l'émigration du Prophète Muhammad (paix sur lui) à Médine et mettent souvent l'accent sur la foi, l'unicité de Dieu et l'au-delà.

بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
88:1
هَلْHashalأَتَىٰكَ(there) come to youatākaحَدِيثُ(the) newsḥadīthuٱلْغَـٰشِيَةِ(of) the Overwhelmingl-ghāshiyati١
T’est-il parvenu le récit de l’enveloppante ?
88:2
وُجُوهٌۭFaceswujūhunيَوْمَئِذٍthat Dayyawma-idhinخَـٰشِعَةٌ(will be) humbledkhāshiʿatun٢
Ce jour-là, il y aura des visages humiliés,
88:3
عَامِلَةٌۭLaboringʿāmilatunنَّاصِبَةٌۭexhaustednāṣibatun٣
préoccupés, harassés.
88:4
تَصْلَىٰThey will burntaṣlāنَارًا(in) a Firenāranحَامِيَةًۭintensely hotḥāmiyatan٤
Ils brûleront dans un Feu ardent,
88:5
تُسْقَىٰThey will be given to drinktus'qāمِنْfromminعَيْنٍa springʿayninءَانِيَةٍۢboilingāniyatin٥
et seront abreuvés d’une source bouillante.
88:6
لَّيْسَNot islaysaلَهُمْfor themlahumطَعَامٌfoodṭaʿāmunإِلَّاexceptillāمِنfromminضَرِيعٍۢa bitter thorny plantḍarīʿin٦
Il n’y aura pour eux d’autre nourriture que des plantes épineuses [Dharî'],
88:7
لَّاNotlāيُسْمِنُit nourishesyus'minuوَلَاand notwalāيُغْنِىit availsyugh'nīمِنfromminجُوعٍۢhungerjūʿin٧
qui n’engraisse, ni n’apaise la faim.
88:8
وُجُوهٌۭFaceswujūhunيَوْمَئِذٍۢthat Dayyawma-idhinنَّاعِمَةٌۭ(will be) joyfulnāʿimatun٨
Ce jour-là, il y aura des visages épanouis,
88:9
لِّسَعْيِهَاWith their effortlisaʿyihāرَاضِيَةٌۭsatisfiedrāḍiyatun٩
contents de leurs efforts,
88:10
فِىInfīجَنَّةٍa gardenjannatinعَالِيَةٍۢelevatedʿāliyatin١٠
dans un haut Jardin,
88:11
لَّاNotlāتَسْمَعُthey will heartasmaʿuفِيهَاthereinfīhāلَـٰغِيَةًۭvain talklāghiyatan١١
où ils n’entendent aucune futilité.
88:12
فِيهَاThereinfīhāعَيْنٌۭ(will be) a springʿaynunجَارِيَةٌۭflowingjāriyatun١٢
Là, il y aura une source coulante.
88:13
فِيهَاThereinfīhāسُرُرٌۭ(will be) thronessururunمَّرْفُوعَةٌۭraised highmarfūʿatun١٣
Là, des divans élevés.
88:14
وَأَكْوَابٌۭAnd cupswa-akwābunمَّوْضُوعَةٌۭput in placemawḍūʿatun١٤
et des coupes posées.
88:15
وَنَمَارِقُAnd cushionswanamāriquمَصْفُوفَةٌۭlined upmaṣfūfatun١٥
et des coussins rangés.
88:16
وَزَرَابِىُّAnd carpetswazarābiyyuمَبْثُوثَةٌspread outmabthūthatun١٦
et des tapis étalés.
88:17
أَفَلَاThen do notafalāيَنظُرُونَthey lookyanẓurūnaإِلَىtowardsilāٱلْإِبِلِthe camelsl-ibiliكَيْفَhowkayfaخُلِقَتْthey are createdkhuliqat١٧
Ne considèrent-ils donc pas les chameaux, comment ils ont été créés,
88:18
وَإِلَىAnd towardswa-ilāٱلسَّمَآءِthe skyl-samāiكَيْفَhowkayfaرُفِعَتْit is raisedrufiʿat١٨
et le ciel comment il est élevé,
88:19
وَإِلَىAnd towardswa-ilāٱلْجِبَالِthe mountainsl-jibāliكَيْفَhowkayfaنُصِبَتْthey are fixednuṣibat١٩
et les montagnes comment elles sont dressées.
88:20
وَإِلَىAnd towardswa-ilāٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiكَيْفَhowkayfaسُطِحَتْit is spread outsuṭiḥat٢٠
et la terre comment elle est nivelée ?
88:21
فَذَكِّرْSo remindfadhakkirإِنَّمَآonlyinnamāأَنتَyouantaمُذَكِّرٌۭ(are) a remindermudhakkirun٢١
Eh bien, rappelle ! Tu n’es qu’un rappeleur,
88:22
لَّسْتَYou are notlastaعَلَيْهِمover themʿalayhimبِمُصَيْطِرٍa controllerbimuṣayṭirin٢٢
et tu n’es pas un dominateur sur eux.
88:23
إِلَّاButillāمَنwhoevermanتَوَلَّىٰturns awaytawallāوَكَفَرَand disbelieveswakafara٢٣
Sauf celui qui tourne le dos et ne croit pas,
88:24
فَيُعَذِّبُهُThen will punish himfayuʿadhibuhuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuٱلْعَذَابَ(with) the punishmentl-ʿadhābaٱلْأَكْبَرَgreatestl-akbara٢٤
alors Allah le châtiera du plus grand châtiment.
88:25
إِنَّIndeedinnaإِلَيْنَآto Usilaynāإِيَابَهُمْ(will be) their returniyābahum٢٥
Vers Nous est leur retour.
88:26
ثُمَّThenthummaإِنَّindeedinnaعَلَيْنَاupon Usʿalaynāحِسَابَهُم(is) their accountḥisābahum٢٦
Ensuite, c’est à Nous de leur demander compte.
