الروم

La sourate Ar-Rum (الروم) est le 30e chapitre du Saint Coran — une sourate Mecquoise de 60 versets. Les sourates mecquoises ont été révélées avant l'émigration du Prophète Muhammad (paix sur lui) à Médine et mettent souvent l'accent sur la foi, l'unicité de Dieu et l'au-delà.

بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
30:1
الٓمٓAlif Lam Meemalif-lam-meem١
Alif, Lâm, Mîm .
30:2
غُلِبَتِHave been defeatedghulibatiٱلرُّومُthe Romansl-rūmu٢
Les Romains ont été vaincus,
30:3
فِىٓInfīأَدْنَى(the) nearestadnāٱلْأَرْضِlandl-arḍiوَهُمBut theywahumمِّنۢafterminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiغَلَبِهِمْtheir defeatghalabihimسَيَغْلِبُونَwill overcomesayaghlibūna٣
dans le pays voisins , et après leur défaite ils seront les vainqueurs,
30:4
فِىWithinfīبِضْعِa fewbiḍ'ʿiسِنِينَ ۗyearssinīnaلِلَّهِFor Allahlillahiٱلْأَمْرُ(is) the commandl-amruمِنbeforeminقَبْلُbeforeqabluوَمِنۢand afterwaminبَعْدُ ۚand afterbaʿduوَيَوْمَئِذٍۢAnd that daywayawma-idhinيَفْرَحُwill rejoiceyafraḥuٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَthe believersl-mu'minūna٤
dans quelques années. A Allah appartient le commandement, au début et à la fin, et ce jour-là les Croyants se réjouiront.
30:5
بِنَصْرِWith (the) helpbinaṣriٱللَّهِ ۚ(of) Allahl-lahiيَنصُرُHe helpsyanṣuruمَنwhommanيَشَآءُ ۖHe willsyashāuوَهُوَAnd Hewahuwaٱلْعَزِيزُ(is) the All-Mightyl-ʿazīzuٱلرَّحِيمُthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmu٥
du secours d’Allah. Il secourt qui Il veut et Il est le Tout Puissant, le Tout Miséricordieux.
30:6
وَعْدَ(It is the) Promisewaʿdaٱللَّهِ ۖ(of) Allahl-lahiلَا(Does) notlāيُخْلِفُfailyukh'lifuٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuوَعْدَهُۥ(in) His promisewaʿdahuوَلَـٰكِنَّbutwalākinnaأَكْثَرَmost (of)aktharaٱلنَّاسِ[the] peoplel-nāsiلَا(do) notlāيَعْلَمُونَknowyaʿlamūna٦
C’est [là] la promesse d’Allah. Allah ne manque jamais à Sa promesse mais la plupart des gens ne savent pas.
30:7
يَعْلَمُونَThey knowyaʿlamūnaظَـٰهِرًۭا(the) apparentẓāhiranمِّنَofminaٱلْحَيَوٰةِthe lifel-ḥayatiٱلدُّنْيَا(of) the worldl-dun'yāوَهُمْbut theywahumعَنِaboutʿaniٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِthe Hereafterl-ākhiratiهُمْ[they]humغَـٰفِلُونَ(are) heedlessghāfilūna٧
Ils connaissent un aspect de la vie présente, tandis qu’ils sont inattentifs à l’au-delà.
30:8
أَوَلَمْDo notawalamيَتَفَكَّرُوا۟they ponderyatafakkarūفِىٓwithinfīأَنفُسِهِم ۗthemselvesanfusihimمَّاNotmāخَلَقَAllah (has) createdkhalaqaٱللَّهُAllah (has) createdl-lahuٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضَand the earthwal-arḍaوَمَاand whatwamāبَيْنَهُمَآ(is) between thembaynahumāإِلَّاexceptillāبِٱلْحَقِّin truthbil-ḥaqiوَأَجَلٍۢand (for) a termwa-ajalinمُّسَمًّۭى ۗappointedmusammanوَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaكَثِيرًۭاmanykathīranمِّنَofminaٱلنَّاسِthe peoplel-nāsiبِلِقَآئِin (the) meetingbiliqāiرَبِّهِمْ(with) their Lordrabbihimلَكَـٰفِرُونَsurely (are) disbelieverslakāfirūna٨
N’ont-ils pas médité en eux-mêmes ? Allah n’a créé les cieux et la terre et ce qui est entre eux, qu’à juste raison et pour un terme fixé. Beaucoup de gens cependant ne croient pas en la rencontre de leur Seigneur.
30:9
أَوَلَمْHave notawalamيَسِيرُوا۟they traveledyasīrūفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiفَيَنظُرُوا۟and observedfayanẓurūكَيْفَhowkayfaكَانَwaskānaعَـٰقِبَةُ(the) endʿāqibatuٱلَّذِينَ(of) thosealladhīnaمِنbefore themminقَبْلِهِمْ ۚbefore themqablihimكَانُوٓا۟They werekānūأَشَدَّmightierashaddaمِنْهُمْthan themmin'humقُوَّةًۭ(in) strengthquwwatanوَأَثَارُوا۟and they dugwa-athārūٱلْأَرْضَthe earthl-arḍaوَعَمَرُوهَآand built (on) itwaʿamarūhāأَكْثَرَmoreaktharaمِمَّاthan whatmimmāعَمَرُوهَاthey have built (on) itʿamarūhāوَجَآءَتْهُمْAnd came (to) themwajāathumرُسُلُهُمtheir Messengersrusuluhumبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ ۖwith clear proofsbil-bayinātiفَمَاSo notfamāكَانَwaskānaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuلِيَظْلِمَهُمْto wrong themliyaẓlimahumوَلَـٰكِنbutwalākinكَانُوٓا۟they werekānūأَنفُسَهُمْthemselvesanfusahumيَظْلِمُونَ(doing) wrongyaẓlimūna٩
N’ont-ils pas parcouru la Terre pour voir ce qu’il est advenu de ceux qui ont vécu avant eux ? Ceux-là les surpassaient en puissance et avaient labouré et peuplé la Terre bien plus qu’ils ne l’ont fait eux-mêmes. Leurs Messagers leur vinrent avec des preuves évidentes. Ce n’est pas Allah qui leur fît du tort; mais ils se firent du tort à eux- mêmes.
30:10
ثُمَّThenthummaكَانَwaskānaعَـٰقِبَةَ(the) endʿāqibataٱلَّذِينَ(of) those whoalladhīnaأَسَـٰٓـُٔوا۟did evil asāūٱلسُّوٓأَىٰٓthe evill-sūāأَنbecauseanكَذَّبُوا۟they deniedkadhabūبِـَٔايَـٰتِ(the) Signsbiāyātiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَكَانُوا۟and werewakānūبِهَاof thembihāيَسْتَهْزِءُونَmaking mockeryyastahziūna١٠
Puis, mauvaise fut la fin de ceux qui faisaient le mal, ayant traité de mensonges les versets d’Allah et les ayant raillés.
30:11
ٱللَّهُAllahal-lahuيَبْدَؤُا۟originatesyabda-uٱلْخَلْقَthe creationl-khalqaثُمَّthenthummaيُعِيدُهُۥHe repeats ityuʿīduhuثُمَّthenthummaإِلَيْهِto Himilayhiتُرْجَعُونَyou will be returnedtur'jaʿūna١١
C’est Allah qui commence la création; ensuite Il la refait ; puis, vers Lui vous serez ramenés.
30:12
وَيَوْمَAnd (the) Daywayawmaتَقُومُwill (be) establishedtaqūmuٱلسَّاعَةُthe Hourl-sāʿatuيُبْلِسُwill (be in) despairyub'lisuٱلْمُجْرِمُونَthe criminalsl-muj'rimūna١٢
Et le jour où l’Heure arrivera, les criminels seront frappés de désespoir.
30:13
وَلَمْAnd notwalamيَكُنwill beyakunلَّهُمfor themlahumمِّنamongminشُرَكَآئِهِمْtheirs partnersshurakāihimشُفَعَـٰٓؤُا۟any intercessorsshufaʿāuوَكَانُوا۟and they will bewakānūبِشُرَكَآئِهِمْin their partnersbishurakāihimكَـٰفِرِينَdisbelieverskāfirīna١٣
Et ils n’auront point d’intercesseurs parmi ceux qu’ils associaient [à Allah] et ils renieront même leurs divinités.
30:14
وَيَوْمَAnd (the) Daywayawmaتَقُومُwill (be) establishedtaqūmuٱلسَّاعَةُthe Hourl-sāʿatuيَوْمَئِذٍۢthat Dayyawma-idhinيَتَفَرَّقُونَthey will become separatedyatafarraqūna١٤
Le jour où l’Heure arrivera, ce jour-là ils se sépareront [les uns des autres].
30:15
فَأَمَّاThen as forfa-ammāٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believedāmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and didwaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِrighteous deedsl-ṣāliḥātiفَهُمْso theyfahumفِىinfīرَوْضَةٍۢa Gardenrawḍatinيُحْبَرُونَwill be delightedyuḥ'barūna١٥
Ceux qui auront cru et accompli de bonnes œuvres se réjouiront dans un jardin ;
30:16
وَأَمَّاBut as forwa-ammāٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievedkafarūوَكَذَّبُوا۟and deniedwakadhabūبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاOur Signsbiāyātināوَلِقَآئِand (the) meetingwaliqāiٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ(of) the Hereafterl-ākhiratiفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthen thosefa-ulāikaفِىinfīٱلْعَذَابِthe punishmentl-ʿadhābiمُحْضَرُونَ(will be) brought forthmuḥ'ḍarūna١٦
et quant à ceux qui n’auront pas cru et auront traité de mensonges Nos signes ainsi que la rencontre de l’au-delà, ceux-là seront emmenés au châtiment.
30:17
فَسُبْحَـٰنَSo glory be tofasub'ḥānaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiحِينَwhenḥīnaتُمْسُونَyou reach the eveningtum'sūnaوَحِينَand whenwaḥīnaتُصْبِحُونَyou reach the morningtuṣ'biḥūna١٧
Glorifiez Allah donc, soir et matin !
30:18
وَلَهُAnd for Himwalahuٱلْحَمْدُ(are) all praisesl-ḥamduفِىinfīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِand the earthwal-arḍiوَعَشِيًّۭاand (at) nightwaʿashiyyanوَحِينَand whenwaḥīnaتُظْهِرُونَyou are at noontuẓ'hirūna١٨
A Lui toute louange dans les cieux et la terre, dans l’après-midi et au milieu de la journée .
30:19
يُخْرِجُHe brings forthyukh'rijuٱلْحَىَّthe livingl-ḥayaمِنَfromminaٱلْمَيِّتِthe deadl-mayitiوَيُخْرِجُand He brings forthwayukh'rijuٱلْمَيِّتَthe deadl-mayitaمِنَfromminaٱلْحَىِّthe livingl-ḥayiوَيُحْىِand He gives lifewayuḥ'yīٱلْأَرْضَ(to) the earthl-arḍaبَعْدَafterbaʿdaمَوْتِهَا ۚits deathmawtihāوَكَذَٰلِكَand thuswakadhālikaتُخْرَجُونَyou will be brought forthtukh'rajūna١٩
Du mort, Il fait sortir le vivant, et du vivant, Il fait sortir le mort. Et Il redonne la vie à la terre après sa mort. Et c’est ainsi que l’on vous fera sortir (à la résurrection).
30:20
وَمِنْAnd amongwaminءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓHis Signsāyātihiأَنْ(is) thatanخَلَقَكُمHe created youkhalaqakumمِّنfromminتُرَابٍۢdustturābinثُمَّthenthummaإِذَآbeholdidhāأَنتُمYouantumبَشَرٌۭ(are) human beingsbasharunتَنتَشِرُونَdispersingtantashirūna٢٠
Parmi Ses signes: Il vous a créés de terre, - puis, vous voilà des hommes qui se dispersent [dans le monde]-.
30:21
وَمِنْAnd amongwaminءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓHis Signsāyātihiأَنْ(is) thatanخَلَقَHe createdkhalaqaلَكُمfor youlakumمِّنْfromminأَنفُسِكُمْyourselvesanfusikumأَزْوَٰجًۭاmatesazwājanلِّتَسْكُنُوٓا۟that you may find tranquilitylitaskunūإِلَيْهَاin themilayhāوَجَعَلَand He placedwajaʿalaبَيْنَكُمbetween youbaynakumمَّوَدَّةًۭlovemawaddatanوَرَحْمَةً ۚand mercywaraḥmatanإِنَّIndeedinnaفِىinfīذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢsurely (are) Signslaāyātinلِّقَوْمٍۢfor a peopleliqawminيَتَفَكَّرُونَwho reflectyatafakkarūna٢١
Et parmi Ses signes Il a créé de vous, pour vous, des épouses pour que vous viviez en tranquillité avec elles et Il a mis entre vous de l’affection et de la bonté. Il y a en cela des preuves pour des gens qui réfléchissent.
30:22
وَمِنْAnd amongwaminءَايَـٰتِهِۦHis Signsāyātihiخَلْقُ(is the) creationkhalquٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِand the earthwal-arḍiوَٱخْتِلَـٰفُand the diversitywa-ikh'tilāfuأَلْسِنَتِكُمْ(of) your languagesalsinatikumوَأَلْوَٰنِكُمْ ۚand your colorswa-alwānikumإِنَّIndeedinnaفِىinfīذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢsurely (are) Signslaāyātinلِّلْعَـٰلِمِينَfor those of knowledgelil'ʿālimīna٢٢
Et parmi Ses signes la création des cieux et de la terre et la variété de vos idiomes et de vos couleurs. Il y a en cela des preuves pour les savants.
30:23
وَمِنْAnd amongwaminءَايَـٰتِهِۦHis Signsāyātihiمَنَامُكُم(is) your sleepmanāmukumبِٱلَّيْلِby nightbi-al-layliوَٱلنَّهَارِand the daywal-nahāriوَٱبْتِغَآؤُكُم[and] your seekingwa-ib'tighāukumمِّنofminفَضْلِهِۦٓ ۚHis BountyfaḍlihiإِنَّIndeedinnaفِىinfīذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢsurely (are) Signslaāyātinلِّقَوْمٍۢfor a peopleliqawminيَسْمَعُونَwho listenyasmaʿūna٢٣
Et parmi Ses signes votre sommeil la nuit et le jour, et aussi votre quête de Sa grâce. Il y a en cela des preuves pour des gens qui entendent.
30:24
وَمِنْAnd amongwaminءَايَـٰتِهِۦHis SignsāyātihiيُرِيكُمُHe shows youyurīkumuٱلْبَرْقَthe lightningl-barqaخَوْفًۭا(causing) fearkhawfanوَطَمَعًۭاand hopewaṭamaʿanوَيُنَزِّلُand He sends downwayunazziluمِنَfromminaٱلسَّمَآءِthe skyl-samāiمَآءًۭwatermāanفَيُحْىِۦand gives lifefayuḥ'yīبِهِtherewithbihiٱلْأَرْضَ(to) the earthl-arḍaبَعْدَafterbaʿdaمَوْتِهَآ ۚits deathmawtihāإِنَّIndeedinnaفِىinfīذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢsurely (are) Signslaāyātinلِّقَوْمٍۢfor a peopleliqawminيَعْقِلُونَwho use intellectyaʿqilūna٢٤
Et parmi Ses signes Il vous montre l’éclaire avec crainte (de la foudre) et espoir (de la pluie), et fait descendre du ciel une eau avec laquelle Il redonne la vie à la terre après sa mort. Il y a en cela des preuves pour des gens qui raisonnent.
30:25
وَمِنْAnd amongwaminءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓHis Signsāyātihiأَن(is) thatanتَقُومَstandstaqūmaٱلسَّمَآءُthe heavensl-samāuوَٱلْأَرْضُand the earthwal-arḍuبِأَمْرِهِۦ ۚby His Commandbi-amrihiثُمَّThenthummaإِذَاwhenidhāدَعَاكُمْHe calls youdaʿākumدَعْوَةًۭ(with) a calldaʿwatanمِّنَfromminaٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiإِذَآbeholdidhāأَنتُمْYouantumتَخْرُجُونَwill come forthtakhrujūna٢٥
Et parmi Ses signes le ciel et la terre sont maintenus par Son ordre; ensuite lorsqu’Il vous appellera d’un appel, voilà que de la terre vous surgirez.
30:26
وَلَهُۥAnd to Him (belongs)walahuمَنwhoevermanفِى(is) infīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖand the earthwal-arḍiكُلٌّۭAllkullunلَّهُۥto Himlahuقَـٰنِتُونَ(are) obedientqānitūna٢٦
A Lui tous ceux qui sont dans les cieux et la Terre: tous Lui sont entièrement soumis.
30:27
وَهُوَAnd Hewahuwaٱلَّذِى(is) the One Whoalladhīيَبْدَؤُا۟originatesyabda-uٱلْخَلْقَthe creationl-khalqaثُمَّthenthummaيُعِيدُهُۥrepeats ityuʿīduhuوَهُوَand itwahuwaأَهْوَنُ(is) easierahwanuعَلَيْهِ ۚfor HimʿalayhiوَلَهُAnd for Himwalahuٱلْمَثَلُ(is) the descriptionl-mathaluٱلْأَعْلَىٰthe highestl-aʿlāفِىinfīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚand the earthwal-arḍiوَهُوَAnd Hewahuwaٱلْعَزِيزُ(is) the All-Mightyl-ʿazīzuٱلْحَكِيمُthe All-Wisel-ḥakīmu٢٧
Et c’est Lui qui commence la création puis la refait; et cela Lui est plus facile. Il a la transcendance absolue dans les cieux et sur la terre. C’est Lui le Tout Puissant, le Sage.
30:28
ضَرَبَHe sets forthḍarabaلَكُمto youlakumمَّثَلًۭاan examplemathalanمِّنْfromminأَنفُسِكُمْ ۖyourselvesanfusikumهَلIshalلَّكُمfor youlakumمِّنamongminمَّاwhatmāمَلَكَتْpossessmalakatأَيْمَـٰنُكُمyour right handsaymānukumمِّنanyminشُرَكَآءَpartnersshurakāaفِىinfīمَاwhatmāرَزَقْنَـٰكُمْWe have provided yourazaqnākumفَأَنتُمْso youfa-antumفِيهِin itfīhiسَوَآءٌۭ(are) equalsawāonتَخَافُونَهُمْyou fear themtakhāfūnahumكَخِيفَتِكُمْas you fearkakhīfatikumأَنفُسَكُمْ ۚyourselvesanfusakumكَذَٰلِكَThuskadhālikaنُفَصِّلُWe explainnufaṣṣiluٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِthe Versesl-āyātiلِقَوْمٍۢfor a peopleliqawminيَعْقِلُونَ(who) use reasonyaʿqilūna٢٨
Il vous a cité une parabole de vous-mêmes : Avez-vous associé vos esclaves à ce que Nous Vous avons attribué en sorte que vous soyez tous égaux [en droit de propriété] et que vous les craignez [autant] que vous vous craignez mutuellement ? C’est ainsi que Nous exposons Nos versets pour des gens qui raisonnent.
30:29
بَلِNaybaliٱتَّبَعَfollowittabaʿaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaظَلَمُوٓا۟do wrongẓalamūأَهْوَآءَهُمtheir desiresahwāahumبِغَيْرِwithoutbighayriعِلْمٍۢ ۖknowledgeʿil'minفَمَنThen whofamanيَهْدِى(can) guideyahdīمَنْ(one) whommanأَضَلَّAllah has let go astrayaḍallaٱللَّهُ ۖAllah has let go astrayl-lahuوَمَاAnd notwamāلَهُمfor themlahumمِّنanyminنَّـٰصِرِينَhelpersnāṣirīna٢٩
Ceux qui ont été injustes ont plutôt suivi leurs propres passions, sans savoir. Qui donc peut guider celui qu’Allah égare ? Et ils n’ont pas pour eux, de protecteur.
30:30
فَأَقِمْSo setfa-aqimوَجْهَكَyour facewajhakaلِلدِّينِto the religionlilddīniحَنِيفًۭا ۚuprightḥanīfanفِطْرَتَNaturefiṭ'rataٱللَّهِ(made by) Allahl-lahiٱلَّتِى(upon) whichallatīفَطَرَHe has createdfaṭaraٱلنَّاسَmankindl-nāsaعَلَيْهَا ۚ[on it]ʿalayhāلَاNolāتَبْدِيلَchangetabdīlaلِخَلْقِ(should there be) in the creationlikhalqiٱللَّهِ ۚ(of) Allahl-lahiذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaٱلدِّينُ(is) the religionl-dīnuٱلْقَيِّمُthe correctl-qayimuوَلَـٰكِنَّbutwalākinnaأَكْثَرَmostaktharaٱلنَّاسِmenl-nāsiلَا(do) notlāيَعْلَمُونَknowyaʿlamūna٣٠
Dirige tout ton être vers la religion exclusivement [pour Allah], telle est la nature qu’Allah a originellement donnée aux hommes - pas de changement à la création d’Allah -. Voilà la religion de droiture ; mais la plupart des gens ne savent pas.
30:31
۞ مُنِيبِينَTurningmunībīnaإِلَيْهِto Himilayhiوَٱتَّقُوهُand fear Himwa-ittaqūhuوَأَقِيمُوا۟and establishwa-aqīmūٱلصَّلَوٰةَthe prayerl-ṣalataوَلَاand (do) notwalāتَكُونُوا۟betakūnūمِنَofminaٱلْمُشْرِكِينَthe polytheistsl-mush'rikīna٣١
Revenez repentants vers Lui; craignez-Le, accomplissez la prière (As Salât) et ne soyez pas parmi les associateurs,
30:32
مِنَOfminaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaفَرَّقُوا۟dividefarraqūدِينَهُمْtheir religiondīnahumوَكَانُوا۟and becomewakānūشِيَعًۭا ۖsectsshiyaʿanكُلُّeachkulluحِزْبٍۭpartyḥiz'binبِمَاin whatbimāلَدَيْهِمْthey haveladayhimفَرِحُونَrejoicingfariḥūna٣٢
parmi ceux qui ont divisé leur religion et sont devenus des sectes, chaque parti exultant de ce qu’il détenait.
30:33
وَإِذَاAnd whenwa-idhāمَسَّtouchesmassaٱلنَّاسَpeoplel-nāsaضُرٌّۭhardshipḍurrunدَعَوْا۟they calldaʿawرَبَّهُمtheir Lordrabbahumمُّنِيبِينَturningmunībīnaإِلَيْهِto HimilayhiثُمَّThenthummaإِذَآwhenidhāأَذَاقَهُمHe causes them to tasteadhāqahumمِّنْهُfrom Himmin'huرَحْمَةًMercyraḥmatanإِذَاbeholdidhāفَرِيقٌۭA partyfarīqunمِّنْهُمof themmin'humبِرَبِّهِمْwith their Lordbirabbihimيُشْرِكُونَassociate partnersyush'rikūna٣٣
Et quand un mal touche les gens, ils invoquent leur Seigneur en revenant à Lui repentants. Puis s’Il leur fait goûter de Sa part une miséricorde, voilà qu’une partie d’entre eux donnent à leur Seigneur des associés,
30:34
لِيَكْفُرُوا۟So as to denyliyakfurūبِمَآ[in] whatbimāءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ ۚWe have granted themātaynāhumفَتَمَتَّعُوا۟Then enjoyfatamattaʿūفَسَوْفَbut soonfasawfaتَعْلَمُونَyou will knowtaʿlamūna٣٤
en sorte qu’ils deviennent ingrats envers ce que Nous leur avons donné. "Et jouissez donc ! Vous saurez bientôt."
30:35
أَمْOramأَنزَلْنَاhave We sentanzalnāعَلَيْهِمْto themʿalayhimسُلْطَـٰنًۭاan authoritysul'ṭānanفَهُوَand itfahuwaيَتَكَلَّمُspeaksyatakallamuبِمَاof whatbimāكَانُوا۟they werekānūبِهِۦwith Himbihiيُشْرِكُونَassociatingyush'rikūna٣٥
Avons-Nous fait descendre sur eux une autorité (un Livre) telle qu’elle parle de ce qu’ils Lui associaient ?
30:36
وَإِذَآAnd whenwa-idhāأَذَقْنَاWe cause people to tasteadhaqnāٱلنَّاسَWe cause people to tastel-nāsaرَحْمَةًۭmercyraḥmatanفَرِحُوا۟they rejoicefariḥūبِهَا ۖthereinbihāوَإِنBut ifwa-inتُصِبْهُمْafflicts themtuṣib'humسَيِّئَةٌۢan evilsayyi-atunبِمَاfor whatbimāقَدَّمَتْhave sent forthqaddamatأَيْدِيهِمْtheir handsaydīhimإِذَاbeholdidhāهُمْTheyhumيَقْنَطُونَdespairyaqnaṭūna٣٦
Et quand Nous faisons goûter une miséricorde aux gens, ils en exultent. Mais si un malheur les atteint à cause de ce que leurs propres mains ont préparé, voilà qu’ils désespèrent.
30:37
أَوَلَمْDo notawalamيَرَوْا۟they seeyarawأَنَّthatannaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيَبْسُطُextendsyabsuṭuٱلرِّزْقَthe provisionl-riz'qaلِمَنfor whomlimanيَشَآءُHe willsyashāuوَيَقْدِرُ ۚand straitens (it)wayaqdiruإِنَّIndeedinnaفِىinfīذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢsurely (are) Signslaāyātinلِّقَوْمٍۢfor a peopleliqawminيُؤْمِنُونَwho believeyu'minūna٣٧
N’ont-ils pas vu qu’Allah dispense Ses dons ou les restreint à qui Il veut ? Il y a en cela des preuves pour des gens qui croient.
30:38
فَـَٔاتِSo givefaātiذَاthe relativedhāٱلْقُرْبَىٰthe relativel-qur'bāحَقَّهُۥhis rightḥaqqahuوَٱلْمِسْكِينَand the poorwal-mis'kīnaوَٱبْنَand the wayfarerwa-ib'naٱلسَّبِيلِ ۚand the wayfarerl-sabīliذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaخَيْرٌۭ(is) bestkhayrunلِّلَّذِينَfor those wholilladhīnaيُرِيدُونَdesireyurīdūnaوَجْهَ(the) Countenancewajhaٱللَّهِ ۖ(of) Allahl-lahiوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَAnd thosewa-ulāikaهُمُtheyhumuٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ(are) the successful onesl-muf'liḥūna٣٨
Donne donc au proche parent son dû, ainsi qu’au pauvre, et au voyageur en détresse. Cela est meilleur pour ceux qui recherchent la face d’Allah ; et ce sont eux qui réussissent.
30:39
وَمَآAnd whatwamāءَاتَيْتُمyou giveātaytumمِّنforminرِّبًۭاusuryribanلِّيَرْبُوَا۟to increaseliyarbuwāفِىٓinfīأَمْوَٰلِ(the) wealthamwāliٱلنَّاسِ(of) peoplel-nāsiفَلَاnotfalāيَرْبُوا۟(will) increaseyarbūعِندَwithʿindaٱللَّهِ ۖAllahl-lahiوَمَآBut whatwamāءَاتَيْتُمyou giveātaytumمِّنofminزَكَوٰةٍۢzakahzakatinتُرِيدُونَdesiringturīdūnaوَجْهَ(the) Countenancewajhaٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthen thosefa-ulāikaهُمُ[they]humuٱلْمُضْعِفُونَ(will) get manifoldl-muḍ'ʿifūna٣٩
Tout ce que vous donnerez à usure pour augmenter vos biens au dépens des biens d’autrui ne les accroît pas auprès d’Allah, mais ce que vous donnez comme l'aumône (Az-Zakât), tout en cherchant la Face d’Allah ... Ceux-là verront [leurs récompenses] multipliées.
30:40
ٱللَّهُAllahal-lahuٱلَّذِى(is) the One Whoalladhīخَلَقَكُمْcreated youkhalaqakumثُمَّthenthummaرَزَقَكُمْHe provided (for) yourazaqakumثُمَّthenthummaيُمِيتُكُمْHe will cause you to dieyumītukumثُمَّthenthummaيُحْيِيكُمْ ۖHe will give you lifeyuḥ'yīkumهَلْIs (there)halمِنanyminشُرَكَآئِكُم(of) your partnersshurakāikumمَّنwhomanيَفْعَلُdoesyafʿaluمِنofminذَٰلِكُمthatdhālikumمِّنanyminشَىْءٍۢ ۚthingshayinسُبْحَـٰنَهُۥGlory be to Himsub'ḥānahuوَتَعَـٰلَىٰand exalted is Hewataʿālāعَمَّاabove whatʿammāيُشْرِكُونَthey associateyush'rikūna٤٠
C’est Allah qui vous a créés et vous a nourris. Ensuite Il vous fera mourir, puis Il vous redonnera vie. Y en a-t-il parmi vos associés, qui fassent quoi que ce soit de tout cela ? Gloire à Lui ! Il transcende ce qu’on Lui associe.
30:41
ظَهَرَHas appearedẓaharaٱلْفَسَادُthe corruptionl-fasāduفِىinfīٱلْبَرِّthe landl-bariوَٱلْبَحْرِand the seawal-baḥriبِمَاfor whatbimāكَسَبَتْhave earnedkasabatأَيْدِى(the) handsaydīٱلنَّاسِ(of) peoplel-nāsiلِيُذِيقَهُمso that He may let them tasteliyudhīqahumبَعْضَa partbaʿḍaٱلَّذِى(of) that whichalladhīعَمِلُوا۟they have doneʿamilūلَعَلَّهُمْso that they maylaʿallahumيَرْجِعُونَreturnyarjiʿūna٤١
La corruption est apparue sur la terre et dans la mer à cause de ce que les gens ont accompli de leurs propres mains; afin qu’ [Allah] leur fasse goûter une partie de ce qu’ils ont œuvré ; peut-être reviendront-ils (vers Allah).
30:42
قُلْSayqulسِيرُوا۟Travelsīrūفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiفَٱنظُرُوا۟and seefa-unẓurūكَيْفَhowkayfaكَانَwaskānaعَـٰقِبَةُ(the) endʿāqibatuٱلَّذِينَ(of) those whoalladhīnaمِن(were) beforeminقَبْلُ ۚ(were) beforeqabluكَانَMost of them werekānaأَكْثَرُهُمMost of them wereaktharuhumمُّشْرِكِينَpolytheistsmush'rikīna٤٢
Dis : "Parcourez la Terre et regardez ce qu’il est advenu de ceux qui ont vécu avant. La plupart d’entre eux étaient des associateurs."
30:43
فَأَقِمْSo setfa-aqimوَجْهَكَyour facewajhakaلِلدِّينِto the religionlilddīniٱلْقَيِّمِrightl-qayimiمِنbeforeminقَبْلِbeforeqabliأَن[that]anيَأْتِىَcomesyatiyaيَوْمٌۭa Dayyawmunلَّاnotlāمَرَدَّ(can be) avertedmaraddaلَهُۥ[it]lahuمِنَfromminaٱللَّهِ ۖAllahl-lahiيَوْمَئِذٍۢThat Dayyawma-idhinيَصَّدَّعُونَthey will be dividedyaṣṣaddaʿūna٤٣
Dirige tout ton être vers la religion de droiture, avant que ne vienne d’Allah un jour qu’on ne peut repousser. Ce jour-là [les gens] seront divisés :
30:44
مَنWhoevermanكَفَرَdisbelieveskafaraفَعَلَيْهِthen against himfaʿalayhiكُفْرُهُۥ ۖ(is) his disbeliefkuf'ruhuوَمَنْAnd whoeverwamanعَمِلَdoesʿamilaصَـٰلِحًۭاrighteousnessṣāliḥanفَلِأَنفُسِهِمْthen for themselvesfali-anfusihimيَمْهَدُونَthey are preparingyamhadūna٤٤
Celui qui aura mécru subira [les conséquences] de son infidélité. Et quiconque aura œuvré en bien... C’est pour eux-mêmes qu’ils préparent (leur avenir),
30:45
لِيَجْزِىَThat He may rewardliyajziyaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and dowaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِrighteous deedsl-ṣāliḥātiمِن(out) ofminفَضْلِهِۦٓ ۚHis BountyfaḍlihiإِنَّهُۥIndeed, Heinnahuلَا(does) notlāيُحِبُّlikeyuḥibbuٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَthe disbelieversl-kāfirīna٤٥
afin qu’ [Allah] récompense par Sa grâce ceux qui croient et accomplissent les bonnes œuvres. En vérité, Il n’aime pas les infidèles.
30:46
وَمِنْAnd amongwaminءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓHis Signsāyātihiأَن(is) thatanيُرْسِلَHe sendsyur'silaٱلرِّيَاحَthe windsl-riyāḥaمُبَشِّرَٰتٍۢ(as) bearers of glad tidingsmubashirātinوَلِيُذِيقَكُمand to let you tastewaliyudhīqakumمِّنofminرَّحْمَتِهِۦHis Mercyraḥmatihiوَلِتَجْرِىَand that may sailwalitajriyaٱلْفُلْكُthe shipsl-ful'kuبِأَمْرِهِۦat His Commandbi-amrihiوَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟and that you may seekwalitabtaghūمِنofminفَضْلِهِۦHis Bountyfaḍlihiوَلَعَلَّكُمْand that you maywalaʿallakumتَشْكُرُونَbe gratefultashkurūna٤٦
Parmi Ses signes, Il envoie les vents comme annonciateurs, pour vous faire goûter de Sa miséricorde et pour que le vaisseau vogue, par Son ordre, et que vous recherchiez de Sa grâce. Peut-être seriez-vous reconnaissants !
30:47
وَلَقَدْAnd verilywalaqadأَرْسَلْنَاWe sentarsalnāمِنbefore youminقَبْلِكَbefore youqablikaرُسُلًاMessengersrusulanإِلَىٰtoilāقَوْمِهِمْtheir peopleqawmihimفَجَآءُوهُمand they came to themfajāūhumبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِwith clear proofsbil-bayinātiفَٱنتَقَمْنَاthen We took retributionfa-intaqamnāمِنَfromminaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaأَجْرَمُوا۟ ۖcommitted crimesajramūوَكَانَAnd it waswakānaحَقًّاincumbentḥaqqanعَلَيْنَاupon Usʿalaynāنَصْرُ(to) helpnaṣruٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believersl-mu'minīna٤٧
Nous avons effectivement envoyé avant toi des Messagers vers leurs peuples et ils leur apportèrent les preuves. Nous Nous vengeâmes de ceux qui commirent les crimes [de la négation] ; et c’était Notre devoir de secourir les croyants.
30:48
ٱللَّهُAllahal-lahuٱلَّذِى(is) the One Whoalladhīيُرْسِلُsendsyur'siluٱلرِّيَـٰحَthe windsl-riyāḥaفَتُثِيرُso they raisefatuthīruسَحَابًۭا(the) cloudssaḥābanفَيَبْسُطُهُۥthen He spreads themfayabsuṭuhuفِىinfīٱلسَّمَآءِthe skyl-samāiكَيْفَhowkayfaيَشَآءُHe willsyashāuوَيَجْعَلُهُۥand He makes themwayajʿaluhuكِسَفًۭاfragmentskisafanفَتَرَىso you seefatarāٱلْوَدْقَthe rainl-wadqaيَخْرُجُcoming forthyakhrujuمِنْfromminخِلَـٰلِهِۦ ۖtheir midstkhilālihiفَإِذَآThen whenfa-idhāأَصَابَHe causes it to fall onaṣābaبِهِۦHe causes it to fall onbihiمَنwhommanيَشَآءُHe willsyashāuمِنْofminعِبَادِهِۦٓHis slavesʿibādihiإِذَاbeholdidhāهُمْTheyhumيَسْتَبْشِرُونَrejoiceyastabshirūna٤٨
Allah, c’est Lui qui envoie les vents qui soulèvent des nuages; puis Il les étend dans le ciel comme Il veut ; et Il les met en morceaux. Tu vois alors la pluie sortir de leurs profondeurs. Puis, lorsqu’Il atteint avec elle qui Il veut parmi Ses serviteurs, les voilà qui se réjouissent,
30:49
وَإِنAnd certainlywa-inكَانُوا۟they werekānūمِنbeforeminقَبْلِbeforeqabliأَن[that]anيُنَزَّلَit was sent downyunazzalaعَلَيْهِمupon themʿalayhimمِّن[before it]minقَبْلِهِۦ[before it]qablihiلَمُبْلِسِينَsurely in despairlamub'lisīna٤٩
même s’ils étaient auparavant, avant qu’on ne l’ait fait descendre sur eux, désespérés.
30:50
فَٱنظُرْSo lookfa-unẓurإِلَىٰٓatilāءَاثَـٰرِ(the) effectsāthāriرَحْمَتِ(of the) Mercyraḥmatiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiكَيْفَhowkayfaيُحْىِHe gives lifeyuḥ'yīٱلْأَرْضَ(to) the earthl-arḍaبَعْدَafterbaʿdaمَوْتِهَآ ۚits deathmawtihāإِنَّIndeedinnaذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaلَمُحْىِsurely He (will) give lifelamuḥ'yīٱلْمَوْتَىٰ ۖ(to) the deadl-mawtāوَهُوَAnd Hewahuwaعَلَىٰ(is) onʿalāكُلِّeverykulliشَىْءٍۢthingshayinقَدِيرٌۭAll-Powerfulqadīrun٥٠
Regarde donc les effets de la miséricorde d’Allah comment Il redonne la vie à la terre après sa mort. C’est Lui qui fait revivre les morts et Il est Omnipotent.
30:51
وَلَئِنْBut ifwala-inأَرْسَلْنَاWe sentarsalnāرِيحًۭاa windrīḥanفَرَأَوْهُand they see itfara-awhuمُصْفَرًّۭاturn yellowmuṣ'farranلَّظَلُّوا۟certainly they continuelaẓallūمِنۢafter itminبَعْدِهِۦafter itbaʿdihiيَكْفُرُونَ(in) disbeliefyakfurūna٥١
Et si Nous envoyons un vent et qu’ils voient jaunir [leur végétation], ils demeurent après cela ingrats (oubliant les bienfaits antérieurs).
30:52
فَإِنَّكَSo indeed, youfa-innakaلَا(can) notlāتُسْمِعُmake the dead heartus'miʿuٱلْمَوْتَىٰmake the dead hearl-mawtāوَلَاand notwalāتُسْمِعُmake the deaf heartus'miʿuٱلصُّمَّmake the deaf hearl-ṣumaٱلدُّعَآءَthe calll-duʿāaإِذَاwhenidhāوَلَّوْا۟they turnwallawمُدْبِرِينَretreatingmud'birīna٥٢
En vérité, tu ne fais pas entendre les morts; et tu ne fais pas entendre aux sourds l’appel, s’ils s’en vont en tournant le dos.
30:53
وَمَآAnd notwamāأَنتَyouantaبِهَـٰدِcan guidebihādiٱلْعُمْىِthe blindl-ʿum'yiعَنfromʿanضَلَـٰلَتِهِمْ ۖtheir errorḍalālatihimإِنNotinتُسْمِعُyou can make heartus'miʿuإِلَّاexceptillāمَن(those) whomanيُؤْمِنُbelieveyu'minuبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاin Our Versesbiāyātināفَهُمso theyfahumمُّسْلِمُونَsurrendermus'limūna٥٣
Tu n’es pas celui qui guide les aveugles hors de leur égarement. Tu ne fais entendre que ceux qui croient en Nos versets et qui sont alors entièrement soumis [musulmans].
30:54
۞ ٱللَّهُAllahal-lahuٱلَّذِى(is) the One Whoalladhīخَلَقَكُمcreated youkhalaqakumمِّنfromminضَعْفٍۢweaknessḍaʿfinثُمَّthenthummaجَعَلَmadejaʿalaمِنۢafterminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiضَعْفٍۢweaknessḍaʿfinقُوَّةًۭstrengthquwwatanثُمَّthenthummaجَعَلَmadejaʿalaمِنۢafterminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiقُوَّةٍۢstrengthquwwatinضَعْفًۭاweaknessḍaʿfanوَشَيْبَةًۭ ۚand gray hairwashaybatanيَخْلُقُHe createsyakhluquمَاwhatmāيَشَآءُ ۖHe willsyashāuوَهُوَand Hewahuwaٱلْعَلِيمُ(is) the All-Knowerl-ʿalīmuٱلْقَدِيرُthe All-Powerfull-qadīru٥٤
Allah, c’est Lui qui vous a créés faibles; puis après la faiblesse, Il vous donne la force ; puis après la force, Il vous réduit à la faiblesse et à la vieillesse: Il crée ce qu’Il veut et c’est Lui l’Omniscient, l’Omnipotent.
30:55
وَيَوْمَAnd (the) Daywayawmaتَقُومُwill (be) establishedtaqūmuٱلسَّاعَةُthe Hourl-sāʿatuيُقْسِمُwill swearyuq'simuٱلْمُجْرِمُونَthe criminalsl-muj'rimūnaمَاnotmāلَبِثُوا۟they remainedlabithūغَيْرَbutghayraسَاعَةٍۢ ۚan hoursāʿatinكَذَٰلِكَThuskadhālikaكَانُوا۟they werekānūيُؤْفَكُونَdeludedyu'fakūna٥٥
Et le jour où l’Heure arrivera, les criminels jureront qu’ils n’ont demeuré qu’une heure. C’est ainsi qu’ils ont été détournés (de la vérité);
30:56
وَقَالَBut will saywaqālaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaأُوتُوا۟were givenūtūٱلْعِلْمَthe knowledgel-ʿil'maوَٱلْإِيمَـٰنَand the faithwal-īmānaلَقَدْVerilylaqadلَبِثْتُمْyou remainedlabith'tumفِىbyfīكِتَـٰبِ(the) Decreekitābiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiإِلَىٰuntililāيَوْمِ(the) Dayyawmiٱلْبَعْثِ ۖ(of) Resurrectionl-baʿthiفَهَـٰذَاAnd thisfahādhāيَوْمُ(is the) Dayyawmuٱلْبَعْثِ(of) the Resurrectionl-baʿthiوَلَـٰكِنَّكُمْbut youwalākinnakumكُنتُمْwerekuntumلَاnotlāتَعْلَمُونَknowingtaʿlamūna٥٦
tandis que ceux à qui le savoir et la foi furent donnés diront : "Vous avez demeuré d’après le Décret d’Allah, jusqu’au Jour de la Résurrection, - voici le Jour de la Résurrection, - mais vous ne saviez point."
30:57
فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢSo that Dayfayawma-idhinلَّاnotlāيَنفَعُwill profityanfaʿuٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaظَلَمُوا۟wrongedẓalamūمَعْذِرَتُهُمْtheir excusesmaʿdhiratuhumوَلَاand notwalāهُمْtheyhumيُسْتَعْتَبُونَwill be allowed to make amendsyus'taʿtabūna٥٧
ce jour-là donc, les excuses ne seront pas utiles aux injustes et on ne leur demandera pas à chercher à plaire à [Allah].
30:58
وَلَقَدْAnd verilywalaqadضَرَبْنَاWe (have) set forthḍarabnāلِلنَّاسِfor mankindlilnnāsiفِىinfīهَـٰذَاthis hādhāٱلْقُرْءَانِ[the] Quranl-qur'āniمِنofminكُلِّeverykulliمَثَلٍۢ ۚexamplemathalinوَلَئِنBut ifwala-inجِئْتَهُمyou bring themji'tahumبِـَٔايَةٍۢa signbiāyatinلَّيَقُولَنَّsurely will saylayaqūlannaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوٓا۟disbelievekafarūإِنْNotinأَنتُمْyouantumإِلَّا(are) exceptillāمُبْطِلُونَfalsifiersmub'ṭilūna٥٨
Et dans ce Coran, Nous avons certes cité, pour les gens, des exemples de toutes sortes. Et si tu leur apportes un prodige, ceux qui ne croient pas diront : "Certes, vous n’êtes que des imposteurs."
30:59
كَذَٰلِكَThuskadhālikaيَطْبَعُAllah sealsyaṭbaʿuٱللَّهُAllah sealsl-lahuعَلَىٰ[on]ʿalāقُلُوبِ(the) heartsqulūbiٱلَّذِينَ(of) those whoalladhīnaلَا(do) notlāيَعْلَمُونَknowyaʿlamūna٥٩
C’est ainsi qu’Allah scelle les cœurs de ceux qui ne savent pas.
30:60
فَٱصْبِرْSo be patientfa-iṣ'birإِنَّIndeedinnaوَعْدَ(the) Promisewaʿdaٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiحَقٌّۭ ۖ(is) trueḥaqqunوَلَاAnd (let) notwalāيَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَtake you in light estimationyastakhiffannakaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaلَا(are) notlāيُوقِنُونَcertain in faithyūqinūna٦٠
Sois donc patient, car la promesse d’Allah est vérité. Et que ceux qui ne croient pas fermement ne t’ébranlent pas !
