العنكبوت

La sourate Al-'Ankabut (العنكبوت) est le 29e chapitre du Saint Coran — une sourate Mecquoise de 69 versets. Les sourates mecquoises ont été révélées avant l'émigration du Prophète Muhammad (paix sur lui) à Médine et mettent souvent l'accent sur la foi, l'unicité de Dieu et l'au-delà.

بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
29:1
الٓمٓAlif Laam Meemalif-lam-meem١
Alif, Lâm, Mîm .
29:2
أَحَسِبَDo thinkaḥasibaٱلنَّاسُthe peoplel-nāsuأَنthatanيُتْرَكُوٓا۟they will be leftyut'rakūأَنbecauseanيَقُولُوٓا۟they sayyaqūlūءَامَنَّاWe believeāmannāوَهُمْand theywahumلَاwill not be testedlāيُفْتَنُونَwill not be testedyuf'tanūna٢
Est-ce que les gens pensent qu’on les laissera dire : "Nous croyons !" sans les éprouver ?
29:3
وَلَقَدْAnd indeedwalaqadفَتَنَّاWe testedfatannāٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaمِن(were) before themminقَبْلِهِمْ ۖ(were) before themqablihimفَلَيَعْلَمَنَّAnd Allah will surely make evidentfalayaʿlamannaٱللَّهُAnd Allah will surely make evidentl-lahuٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaصَدَقُوا۟(are) truthfulṣadaqūوَلَيَعْلَمَنَّand He will surely make evidentwalayaʿlamannaٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَthe liarsl-kādhibīna٣
Certes, Nous avons éprouvé ceux qui ont vécu avant eux ; [Ainsi] Allah connaît ceux qui disent la vérité et ceux qui mentent.
29:4
أَمْOramحَسِبَthinkḥasibaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaيَعْمَلُونَdoyaʿmalūnaٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِevil deedsl-sayiātiأَنthatanيَسْبِقُونَا ۚthey can outrun UsyasbiqūnāسَآءَEvil issāaمَاwhatmāيَحْكُمُونَthey judgeyaḥkumūna٤
Ou bien ceux qui commettent des méfaits, comptent-ils pouvoir Nous échapper ? Comme leur jugement est mauvais !
29:5
مَنWhoevermanكَانَ[is]kānaيَرْجُوا۟hopesyarjūلِقَآءَ(for the) meetingliqāaٱللَّهِ(with) Allahl-lahiفَإِنَّthen indeedfa-innaأَجَلَ(the) Termajalaٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiلَـَٔاتٍۢ ۚ(is) surely cominglaātinوَهُوَAnd Hewahuwaٱلسَّمِيعُ(is) the All-Hearerl-samīʿuٱلْعَلِيمُthe All-Knowerl-ʿalīmu٥
Quiconque espère rencontrer Allah, alors le terme fixé par Allah va certainement venir. Et c’est Lui l’Audient, l’Omniscient.
29:6
وَمَنAnd whoeverwamanجَـٰهَدَstrivesjāhadaفَإِنَّمَاthen onlyfa-innamāيُجَـٰهِدُhe strivesyujāhiduلِنَفْسِهِۦٓ ۚfor himselflinafsihiإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَغَنِىٌّ(is) Free from needlaghaniyyunعَنِofʿaniٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَthe worldsl-ʿālamīna٦
Et quiconque lutte, ne lutte que pour lui-même, car Allah Se passe de tout l’Univers.
29:7
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and dowaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِrighteous (deeds)l-ṣāliḥātiلَنُكَفِّرَنَّsurely, We will removelanukaffirannaعَنْهُمْfrom themʿanhumسَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْtheir evil deedssayyiātihimوَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْand We will surely reward themwalanajziyannahumأَحْسَنَ(the) bestaḥsanaٱلَّذِى(of) whatalladhīكَانُوا۟they usedkānūيَعْمَلُونَ(to) doyaʿmalūna٧
Et quant à ceux qui croient et font de bonnes œuvres, Nous leur effacerons leurs méfaits, et Nous les rétribuerons de la meilleure récompense pour ce qu’ils auront accompli.
29:8
وَوَصَّيْنَاAnd We have enjoinedwawaṣṣaynāٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ(on) manl-insānaبِوَٰلِدَيْهِgoodness to his parentsbiwālidayhiحُسْنًۭا ۖgoodness to his parentsḥus'nanوَإِنbut ifwa-inجَـٰهَدَاكَthey both strive against youjāhadākaلِتُشْرِكَto make you associatelitush'rikaبِىwith Mebīمَاwhatmāلَيْسَnotlaysaلَكَyou havelakaبِهِۦof itbihiعِلْمٌۭany knowledgeʿil'munفَلَاthen (do) notfalāتُطِعْهُمَآ ۚobey both of themtuṭiʿ'humāإِلَىَّTo Meilayyaمَرْجِعُكُمْ(is) your returnmarjiʿukumفَأُنَبِّئُكُمand I will inform youfa-unabbi-ukumبِمَاabout whatbimāكُنتُمْyou usedkuntumتَعْمَلُونَ(to) dotaʿmalūna٨
Et Nous avons enjoint à l’homme de bien traiter ses père et mère, et "si ceux-ci te forcent à M’associer, ce dont tu n’as aucun savoir, alors ne leur obéis pas !" Vers Moi est votre retour, et alors Je vous informerai de ce que vous faisiez.
29:9
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and dowaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِrighteous deedsl-ṣāliḥātiلَنُدْخِلَنَّهُمْWe will surely admit themlanud'khilannahumفِىamongfīٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَthe righteousl-ṣāliḥīna٩
Et quant à ceux qui croient et font de bonnes œuvres, Nous les ferons certainement entrer parmi les gens de bien.
29:10
وَمِنَAnd ofwaminaٱلنَّاسِthe peoplel-nāsiمَن(is he) whomanيَقُولُsaysyaqūluءَامَنَّاWe believeāmannāبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiفَإِذَآBut whenfa-idhāأُوذِىَhe is harmedūdhiyaفِىinfīٱللَّهِ(the Way of) Allahl-lahiجَعَلَhe considersjaʿalaفِتْنَةَ(the) trialfit'nataٱلنَّاسِ(of) the peoplel-nāsiكَعَذَابِas (the) punishmentkaʿadhābiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَلَئِنBut ifwala-inجَآءَcomesjāaنَصْرٌۭvictorynaṣrunمِّنfromminرَّبِّكَyour Lordrabbikaلَيَقُولُنَّsurely they saylayaqūlunnaإِنَّاIndeed, weinnāكُنَّاwerekunnāمَعَكُمْ ۚwith youmaʿakumأَوَلَيْسَIs notawalaysaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuبِأَعْلَمَmost knowingbi-aʿlamaبِمَاof whatbimāفِى(is) infīصُدُورِ(the) breastsṣudūriٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ(of) the worldsl-ʿālamīna١٠
Et parmi les gens il en est qui disent : "Nous croyons en Allah !" Puis, si on les fait souffrir pour la cause d’Allah, ils considèrent l’épreuve de la part des hommes comme un châtiment d’Allah. Or, s’il vient du secours de ton Seigneur, ils diront certes: "Nous étions avec vous !" Allah n’est-Il pas le meilleur à savoir ce qu’il y a dans les poitrines de tout le monde ?
29:11
وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّAnd Allah will surely make evidentwalayaʿlamannaٱللَّهُAnd Allah will surely make evidentl-lahuٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūوَلَيَعْلَمَنَّAnd He will surely make evidentwalayaʿlamannaٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَthe hypocritesl-munāfiqīna١١
Et Allah connaît parfaitement les croyants et Il connaît parfaitement les hypocrites.
29:12
وَقَالَAnd saidwaqālaٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūلِلَّذِينَto those wholilladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūٱتَّبِعُوا۟Followittabiʿūسَبِيلَنَاour waysabīlanāوَلْنَحْمِلْand we will carrywalnaḥmilخَطَـٰيَـٰكُمْyour sinskhaṭāyākumوَمَاBut notwamāهُمtheyhumبِحَـٰمِلِينَ(are) going to carrybiḥāmilīnaمِنْofminخَطَـٰيَـٰهُمtheir sinskhaṭāyāhumمِّنanyminشَىْءٍ ۖthingshayinإِنَّهُمْIndeed, theyinnahumلَكَـٰذِبُونَ(are) surely liarslakādhibūna١٢
Et ceux qui ne croient pas disent à ceux qui croient : "Suivez notre sentier, et que nous supportions vos fautes !" Mais ils ne supporteront rien de leurs fautes. En vérité ce sont des menteurs.
29:13
وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّBut surely they will carrywalayaḥmilunnaأَثْقَالَهُمْtheir burdensathqālahumوَأَثْقَالًۭاand burdenswa-athqālanمَّعَwithmaʿaأَثْقَالِهِمْ ۖtheir burdensathqālihimوَلَيُسْـَٔلُنَّand surely they will be questionedwalayus'alunnaيَوْمَ(on the) Dayyawmaٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrectionl-qiyāmatiعَمَّاabout whatʿammāكَانُوا۟they usedkānūيَفْتَرُونَ(to) inventyaftarūna١٣
Et très certainement, ils porteront leurs fardeaux et d’autres fardeaux en plus de leurs propres fardeaux. Et ils seront interrogés, le Jour de la Résurrection, sur ce qu’ils inventaient.
29:14
وَلَقَدْAnd verilywalaqadأَرْسَلْنَاWe sentarsalnāنُوحًاNuhnūḥanإِلَىٰtoilāقَوْمِهِۦhis peopleqawmihiفَلَبِثَand he remainedfalabithaفِيهِمْamong themfīhimأَلْفَa thousandalfaسَنَةٍyear(s)sanatinإِلَّاsaveillāخَمْسِينَfiftykhamsīnaعَامًۭاyear(s)ʿāmanفَأَخَذَهُمُthen seized themfa-akhadhahumuٱلطُّوفَانُthe floodl-ṭūfānuوَهُمْwhile theywahumظَـٰلِمُونَ(were) wrongdoersẓālimūna١٤
Et en effet, Nous avons envoyé Noé vers son peuple. Il demeura parmi eux mille ans moins cinquante années. Puis le déluge les emporta alors qu’ils étaient injustes.
29:15
فَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُBut We saved himfa-anjaynāhuوَأَصْحَـٰبَand (the) peoplewa-aṣḥābaٱلسَّفِينَةِ(of) the shipl-safīnatiوَجَعَلْنَـٰهَآand We made itwajaʿalnāhāءَايَةًۭa Signāyatanلِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَfor the worldslil'ʿālamīna١٥
Puis, Nous les sauvâmes, lui et les gens de l’arche ; et Nous en fîmes un enseignement pour l’Univers.
29:16
وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَAnd Ibrahim wa-ib'rāhīmaإِذْwhenidhقَالَhe saidqālaلِقَوْمِهِto his peopleliqawmihiٱعْبُدُوا۟Worshipuʿ'budūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaوَٱتَّقُوهُ ۖand fear Himwa-ittaqūhuذَٰلِكُمْThatdhālikumخَيْرٌۭ(is) betterkhayrunلَّكُمْfor youlakumإِنifinكُنتُمْyoukuntumتَعْلَمُونَknowtaʿlamūna١٦
Et Abraham, quand il dit à son peuple : "Adorez Allah, et craignez-Le ! cela vous est bien meilleur si vous saviez."
29:17
إِنَّمَاOnlyinnamāتَعْبُدُونَyou worshiptaʿbudūnaمِنbesidesminدُونِbesidesdūniٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiأَوْثَـٰنًۭاidolsawthānanوَتَخْلُقُونَand you createwatakhluqūnaإِفْكًا ۚfalsehoodif'kanإِنَّIndeedinnaٱلَّذِينَthose whomalladhīnaتَعْبُدُونَyou worshiptaʿbudūnaمِنbesidesminدُونِbesidesdūniٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiلَا(do) notlāيَمْلِكُونَpossessyamlikūnaلَكُمْfor youlakumرِزْقًۭاany provisionriz'qanفَٱبْتَغُوا۟So seekfa-ib'taghūعِندَfromʿindaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiٱلرِّزْقَthe provisionl-riz'qaوَٱعْبُدُوهُand worship Himwa-uʿ'budūhuوَٱشْكُرُوا۟and be gratefulwa-ush'kurūلَهُۥٓ ۖto HimlahuإِلَيْهِTo Himilayhiتُرْجَعُونَyou will be returnedtur'jaʿūna١٧
Vous n’adorez que des idoles, en dehors d’Allah, et vous forgez un mensonge. Ceux que vous adorez en dehors d’Allah ne possèdent aucun moyen pour vous procurer nourriture; Recherchez donc votre subsistance auprès d’Allah ! Adorez-Le et soyez-Lui reconnaissants ! C’est à Lui que vous serez ramenés.
29:18
وَإِنAnd ifwa-inتُكَذِّبُوا۟you denytukadhibūفَقَدْthen verilyfaqadكَذَّبَdeniedkadhabaأُمَمٌۭ(the) nationsumamunمِّنbefore youminقَبْلِكُمْ ۖbefore youqablikumوَمَاAnd notwamāعَلَى(is) onʿalāٱلرَّسُولِthe Messengerl-rasūliإِلَّاexceptillāٱلْبَلَـٰغُthe conveyancel-balāghuٱلْمُبِينُclearl-mubīnu١٨
Et si vous criez au mensonge, d’autres nations avant vous, ont aussi traité (leurs Prophètes) de menteurs. Au Messager, cependant, n’incombe que la transmission claire.
29:19
أَوَلَمْDo notawalamيَرَوْا۟they seeyarawكَيْفَhowkayfaيُبْدِئُAllah originatesyub'di-uٱللَّهُAllah originatesl-lahuٱلْخَلْقَthe creationl-khalqaثُمَّthenthummaيُعِيدُهُۥٓ ۚrepeats ityuʿīduhuإِنَّIndeedinnaذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaعَلَىforʿalāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiيَسِيرٌۭ(is) easyyasīrun١٩
Ne voient-ils pas comment Allah commence la Création puis la refait ? Cela est facile pour Allah.
29:20
قُلْSayqulسِيرُوا۟Travelsīrūفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiفَٱنظُرُوا۟and seefa-unẓurūكَيْفَhowkayfaبَدَأَHe originatedbada-aٱلْخَلْقَ ۚthe creationl-khalqaثُمَّThenthummaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuيُنشِئُwill produceyunshi-uٱلنَّشْأَةَthe creationl-nashataٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ ۚthe lastl-ākhirataإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaعَلَىٰonʿalāكُلِّeverykulliشَىْءٍۢthingshayinقَدِيرٌۭ(is) All-Powerfulqadīrun٢٠
Dis : "Parcourez la Terre et voyez comment Il a commencé la création. Puis comment Allah crée la génération ultime. Car Allah est Omnipotent."
29:21
يُعَذِّبُHe punishesyuʿadhibuمَنwhommanيَشَآءُHe willsyashāuوَيَرْحَمُand has mercywayarḥamuمَن(on) whommanيَشَآءُ ۖHe willsyashāuوَإِلَيْهِand to Himwa-ilayhiتُقْلَبُونَyou will be returnedtuq'labūna٢١
Il châtie qui Il veut et fait miséricorde à qui Il veut ; et c’est vers Lui que vous serez ramenés.
29:22
وَمَآAnd notwamāأَنتُمyouantumبِمُعْجِزِينَcan escapebimuʿ'jizīnaفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiوَلَاand notwalāفِىinfīٱلسَّمَآءِ ۖthe heavenl-samāiوَمَاAnd notwamāلَكُمfor youlakumمِّنbesidesminدُونِbesidesdūniٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiمِنanyminوَلِىٍّۢprotectorwaliyyinوَلَاand notwalāنَصِيرٍۢa helpernaṣīrin٢٢
Et vous ne pourrez-vous opposer à Sa puissance ni sur Terre, ni au ciel ; et il n’y a pas pour vous, en dehors d’Allah, ni allié ni secoureur.
29:23
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaكَفَرُوا۟disbelievekafarūبِـَٔايَـٰتِin (the) Signsbiāyātiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiوَلِقَآئِهِۦٓand (the) meeting (with) Himwaliqāihiأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthoseulāikaيَئِسُوا۟(have) despairedya-isūمِنofminرَّحْمَتِىMy Mercyraḥmatīوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَAnd thosewa-ulāikaلَهُمْfor themlahumعَذَابٌ(is) a punishmentʿadhābunأَلِيمٌۭpainfulalīmun٢٣
Et ceux qui ne croient pas aux versets d’Allah et à Sa rencontre, désespèrent de Sa miséricorde. Et ceux-là auront un châtiment douloureux.
29:24
فَمَاAnd notfamāكَانَwaskānaجَوَابَ(the) answerjawābaقَوْمِهِۦٓ(of) his peopleqawmihiإِلَّآexceptillāأَنthatanقَالُوا۟they saidqālūٱقْتُلُوهُKill himuq'tulūhuأَوْorawحَرِّقُوهُburn himḥarriqūhuفَأَنجَىٰهُBut Allah saved himfa-anjāhuٱللَّهُBut Allah saved himl-lahuمِنَfromminaٱلنَّارِ ۚthe firel-nāriإِنَّIndeedinnaفِىinfīذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢsurely (are) Signslaāyātinلِّقَوْمٍۢfor a peopleliqawminيُؤْمِنُونَwho believeyu'minūna٢٤
Son peuple ne fît d’autre réponse que : "Tuez-le ou brûlez-le ! " Mais Allah le sauva du feu. C’est bien là des signes pour des gens qui croient.
29:25
وَقَالَAnd he saidwaqālaإِنَّمَاOnlyinnamāٱتَّخَذْتُمyou have takenittakhadhtumمِّنbesidesminدُونِbesidesdūniٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiأَوْثَـٰنًۭاidolsawthānanمَّوَدَّةَ(out of) lovemawaddataبَيْنِكُمْamong youbaynikumفِىinfīٱلْحَيَوٰةِthe lifel-ḥayatiٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ(of) the worldl-dun'yāثُمَّThenthummaيَوْمَ(on the) Dayyawmaٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ(of) the Resurrectionl-qiyāmatiيَكْفُرُyou will denyyakfuruبَعْضُكُمone anotherbaʿḍukumبِبَعْضٍۢone anotherbibaʿḍinوَيَلْعَنُand cursewayalʿanuبَعْضُكُمone anotherbaʿḍukumبَعْضًۭاone anotherbaʿḍanوَمَأْوَىٰكُمُand your abodewamawākumuٱلنَّارُ(will be) the Firel-nāruوَمَاand notwamāلَكُمfor youlakumمِّنanyminنَّـٰصِرِينَhelpersnāṣirīna٢٥
Et [Abraham] dit : “En effet, c’est pour cimenter des liens entre vous-même dans la vie présente, que vous avez adopté des idoles, en dehors d’Allah. Ensuite, le Jour de la Résurrection, les uns renieront les autres, et les uns maudiront les autres, tandis que vous aurez le Feu pour refuge, et vous n’aurez pas de protecteurs (ni de secoureurs).
29:26
۞ فَـَٔامَنَAnd believedfaāmanaلَهُۥ[in] himlahuلُوطٌۭ ۘLutlūṭunوَقَالَand he saidwaqālaإِنِّىIndeed I (am)innīمُهَاجِرٌemigratingmuhājirunإِلَىٰtoilāرَبِّىٓ ۖmy LordrabbīإِنَّهُۥIndeed, Heinnahuهُوَ[He] (is)huwaٱلْعَزِيزُthe All-Mightyl-ʿazīzuٱلْحَكِيمُthe All-Wisel-ḥakīmu٢٦
Lot crut en lui. Il dit : "Moi, j’émigre vers mon Seigneur ! Car c’est Lui le Tout Puissant, le Sage."
29:27
وَوَهَبْنَاAnd We grantedwawahabnāلَهُۥٓto himlahuإِسْحَـٰقَIsaacis'ḥāqaوَيَعْقُوبَand Yaqubwayaʿqūbaوَجَعَلْنَاand We placedwajaʿalnāفِىinfīذُرِّيَّتِهِhis offspringsdhurriyyatihiٱلنُّبُوَّةَthe Prophethoodl-nubuwataوَٱلْكِتَـٰبَand the Bookwal-kitābaوَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُAnd We gave himwaātaynāhuأَجْرَهُۥhis rewardajrahuفِىinfīٱلدُّنْيَا ۖthe worldl-dun'yāوَإِنَّهُۥAnd indeed, hewa-innahuفِىinfīٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِthe Hereafterl-ākhiratiلَمِنَ(is) surely, amonglaminaٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَthe righteousl-ṣāliḥīna٢٧
Nous lui donnâmes Isaac et Jacob, et plaçâmes dans sa descendance la Prophétie et le Livre. Et Nous lui accordâmes sa récompense ici-bas, tandis que dans l’au-delà, il sera parmi les gens de bien.
29:28
وَلُوطًاAnd Lutwalūṭanإِذْwhenidhقَالَhe saidqālaلِقَوْمِهِۦٓto his peopleliqawmihiإِنَّكُمْIndeed, youinnakumلَتَأْتُونَcommitlatatūnaٱلْفَـٰحِشَةَthe immoralityl-fāḥishataمَاnotmāسَبَقَكُمhas preceded yousabaqakumبِهَاwith itbihāمِنْanyminأَحَدٍۢoneaḥadinمِّنَfromminaٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَthe worldsl-ʿālamīna٢٨
Et [rappelle] Lot, quand il dit à son peuple : "Vraiment, vous commettez la turpitude où nul dans l’Univers ne vous a précédés.
29:29
أَئِنَّكُمْIndeed, youa-innakumلَتَأْتُونَapproachlatatūnaٱلرِّجَالَthe menl-rijālaوَتَقْطَعُونَand you cut offwataqṭaʿūnaٱلسَّبِيلَthe roadl-sabīlaوَتَأْتُونَand commitwatatūnaفِىinfīنَادِيكُمُyour meetingsnādīkumuٱلْمُنكَرَ ۖevill-munkaraفَمَاAnd notfamāكَانَwaskānaجَوَابَ(the) answerjawābaقَوْمِهِۦٓ(of) his peopleqawmihiإِلَّآexceptillāأَنthatanقَالُوا۟they saidqālūٱئْتِنَاBring upon usi'tināبِعَذَابِ(the) punishmentbiʿadhābiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiإِنifinكُنتَyou arekuntaمِنَofminaٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَthe truthfull-ṣādiqīna٢٩
Aurez-vous commerce charnel avec des mâles ? Pratiquerez-vous le brigandage ? Commettrez-vous le blâmable dans votre assemblée?" Mais son peuple ne fit d’autre réponse que : "Fait que le châtiment d’Allah nous vienne, si tu es du nombre des véridiques !"
29:30
قَالَHe saidqālaرَبِّMy LordrabbiٱنصُرْنِىHelp meunṣur'nīعَلَىagainstʿalāٱلْقَوْمِthe peoplel-qawmiٱلْمُفْسِدِينَthe corruptersl-muf'sidīna٣٠
Il dit : “Seigneu r! Secours-moi contre ce peuple de corrupteurs ! ”
29:31
وَلَمَّاAnd whenwalammāجَآءَتْcamejāatرُسُلُنَآOur messengersrusulunāإِبْرَٰهِيمَ(to) Ibrahimib'rāhīmaبِٱلْبُشْرَىٰwith the glad tidingsbil-bush'rāقَالُوٓا۟they saidqālūإِنَّاIndeed, weinnāمُهْلِكُوٓا۟(are) going to destroymuh'likūأَهْلِ(the) peopleahliهَـٰذِهِ(of) thishādhihiٱلْقَرْيَةِ ۖtownl-qaryatiإِنَّIndeedinnaأَهْلَهَاits peopleahlahāكَانُوا۟arekānūظَـٰلِمِينَwrongdoersẓālimīna٣١
Et quand Nos Messagers (les Anges) apportèrent à Abraham la bonne annonce , ils dirent : “Nous allons anéantir les habitants de cette cité car ses habitants sont injustes.”
29:32
قَالَHe saidqālaإِنَّIndeedinnaفِيهَاin itfīhāلُوطًۭا ۚ(is) Lutlūṭanقَالُوا۟They saidqālūنَحْنُWenaḥnuأَعْلَمُknow betteraʿlamuبِمَنwhobimanفِيهَا ۖ(is) in itfīhāلَنُنَجِّيَنَّهُۥWe will surely save himlanunajjiyannahuوَأَهْلَهُۥٓand his familywa-ahlahuإِلَّاexceptillāٱمْرَأَتَهُۥhis wifeim'ra-atahuكَانَتْShekānatمِنَ(is) ofminaٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَthose who remain behindl-ghābirīna٣٢
Il dit : "Mais Lot s’y trouve !" Ils dirent : "Nous savons parfaitement qui y habite : nous le sauverons certainement, lui et sa famille, excepté sa femme qui sera parmi ceux qui périront."
29:33
وَلَمَّآAnd whenwalammāأَن[that]anجَآءَتْcamejāatرُسُلُنَاOur messengersrusulunāلُوطًۭا(to) Lutlūṭanسِىٓءَhe was distressedsīaبِهِمْfor thembihimوَضَاقَand felt straitenedwaḍāqaبِهِمْfor thembihimذَرْعًۭا(and) uneasydharʿanوَقَالُوا۟And they saidwaqālūلَا(Do) notlāتَخَفْfeartakhafوَلَاand (do) notwalāتَحْزَنْ ۖgrievetaḥzanإِنَّاIndeed, weinnāمُنَجُّوكَ(will) save youmunajjūkaوَأَهْلَكَand your familywa-ahlakaإِلَّاexceptillāٱمْرَأَتَكَyour wifeim'ra-atakaكَانَتْShekānatمِنَ(is) ofminaٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَthose who remain behindl-ghābirīna٣٣
Et quand Nos Messagers (les Anges) vinrent à Lot, il fut affligé pour eux, et se sentit incapable de les protéger. Ils lui dirent : “Ne crains rien et ne t’afflige pas... Nous te sauverons ainsi que ta famille, excepté ta femme qui sera parmi ceux qui périront.
29:34
إِنَّاIndeed, weinnāمُنزِلُونَ(will) bring downmunzilūnaعَلَىٰٓonʿalāأَهْلِ(the) peopleahliهَـٰذِهِ(of) thishādhihiٱلْقَرْيَةِtownl-qaryatiرِجْزًۭاa punishmentrij'zanمِّنَfromminaٱلسَّمَآءِ(the) skyl-samāiبِمَاbecausebimāكَانُوا۟they have beenkānūيَفْسُقُونَdefiantly disobedientyafsuqūna٣٤
Nous ferons tomber du ciel un châtiment sur les habitants de cette cité, pour leur perversité."
29:35
وَلَقَدAnd verilywalaqadتَّرَكْنَاWe have lefttaraknāمِنْهَآabout itmin'hāءَايَةًۢa signāyatanبَيِّنَةًۭ(as) evidencebayyinatanلِّقَوْمٍۢfor a peopleliqawminيَعْقِلُونَwho use reasonyaʿqilūna٣٥
Et certainement, Nous avons laissé (des ruines de cette cité) un signe (d’avertissement) évident pour des gens qui raisonnent.
29:36
وَإِلَىٰAnd towa-ilāمَدْيَنَMadyanmadyanaأَخَاهُمْtheir brotherakhāhumشُعَيْبًۭاShuaibshuʿaybanفَقَالَAnd he saidfaqālaيَـٰقَوْمِO my peopleyāqawmiٱعْبُدُوا۟Worshipuʿ'budūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaوَٱرْجُوا۟and expectwa-ir'jūٱلْيَوْمَthe Dayl-yawmaٱلْـَٔاخِرَthe Lastl-ākhiraوَلَاand (do) notwalāتَعْثَوْا۟commit eviltaʿthawفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiمُفْسِدِينَ(as) corruptersmuf'sidīna٣٦
De même, aux Madyan (Nous envoyâmes) leur frère Chu'aïb qui leur dit : "Ô mon peuple ! Adorez Allah et attendez-vous au Jour Dernier, et ne semez pas la corruption sur Terre !"
29:37
فَكَذَّبُوهُBut they denied himfakadhabūhuفَأَخَذَتْهُمُso seized themfa-akhadhathumuٱلرَّجْفَةُthe earthquakel-rajfatuفَأَصْبَحُوا۟and they becamefa-aṣbaḥūفِىinfīدَارِهِمْtheir homedārihimجَـٰثِمِينَfallen pronejāthimīna٣٧
Mais ils le traitèrent de menteur. Le cataclysme les saisit, et au matin, ils gisaient sans vie dans leurs demeures.
29:38
وَعَادًۭاAnd Aadwaʿādanوَثَمُودَا۟and Thamudwathamūdāوَقَدand verilywaqadتَّبَيَّنَ(has) become cleartabayyanaلَكُمto youlakumمِّنfromminمَّسَـٰكِنِهِمْ ۖtheir dwellingsmasākinihimوَزَيَّنَAnd made fair-seemingwazayyanaلَهُمُto themlahumuٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُthe Shaitaanl-shayṭānuأَعْمَـٰلَهُمْtheir deedsaʿmālahumفَصَدَّهُمْand averted themfaṣaddahumعَنِfromʿaniٱلسَّبِيلِthe Wayl-sabīliوَكَانُوا۟though they werewakānūمُسْتَبْصِرِينَendowed with insightmus'tabṣirīna٣٨
De même (Nous anéantîmes) les 'Âd et les Thamûd. - Vous le voyez clairement à travers leurs habitations - Le Diable (Satan), cependant, leur avait embelli leurs actions, au point de les repousser loin du sentier; ils étaient pourtant invités à être clairvoyants.
29:39
وَقَـٰرُونَAnd Qarunwaqārūnaوَفِرْعَوْنَand Firaunwafir'ʿawnaوَهَـٰمَـٰنَ ۖand HamanwahāmānaوَلَقَدْAnd certainlywalaqadجَآءَهُمcame to themjāahumمُّوسَىٰMusamūsāبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِwith clear evidencesbil-bayinātiفَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟but they were arrogantfa-is'takbarūفِىinfīٱلْأَرْضِthe earthl-arḍiوَمَاand notwamāكَانُوا۟they couldkānūسَـٰبِقِينَoutstrip Ussābiqīna٣٩
De même, (Nous détruisîmes) Coré, Pharaon et Hâmân. Alors que Moïse leur avait apporté des preuves évidentes, ils s’enorgueillirent sur Terre. Et ils n’ont pas pu [Nous] échapper.
29:40
فَكُلًّاSo eachfakullanأَخَذْنَاWe seizedakhadhnāبِذَنۢبِهِۦ ۖfor his sinbidhanbihiفَمِنْهُمThen of themfamin'humمَّنْ(was he) whomanأَرْسَلْنَاWe sentarsalnāعَلَيْهِon himʿalayhiحَاصِبًۭاa violent stormḥāṣibanوَمِنْهُمand of themwamin'humمَّنْ(was he) whomanأَخَذَتْهُseized himakhadhathuٱلصَّيْحَةُthe awful cryl-ṣayḥatuوَمِنْهُمand of themwamin'humمَّنْ(was he) whomanخَسَفْنَاWe caused to swallowkhasafnāبِهِhimbihiٱلْأَرْضَthe earthl-arḍaوَمِنْهُمand of themwamin'humمَّنْ(was he) whomanأَغْرَقْنَا ۚWe drownedaghraqnāوَمَاAnd notwamāكَانَwaskānaٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuلِيَظْلِمَهُمْto wrong themliyaẓlimahumوَلَـٰكِنbutwalākinكَانُوٓا۟they werekānūأَنفُسَهُمْthemselvesanfusahumيَظْلِمُونَdoing wrongyaẓlimūna٤٠
Nous saisîmes donc chacun pour son péché: Il y en eut sur qui Nous envoyâmes un ouragan ; il y en eut que le Cri saisit ; il y en eut que Nous fîmes engloutir par la terre ; et il y en eut que Nous noyâmes. Cependant, Allah ne fut pas tel à leur faire du tort, mais ils se firent du tort à eux-mêmes .
29:41
مَثَلُ(The) examplemathaluٱلَّذِينَ(of) those whoalladhīnaٱتَّخَذُوا۟takeittakhadhūمِنbesidesminدُونِbesidesdūniٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiأَوْلِيَآءَprotectorsawliyāaكَمَثَلِ(is) likekamathaliٱلْعَنكَبُوتِthe spiderl-ʿankabūtiٱتَّخَذَتْwho takesittakhadhatبَيْتًۭا ۖa housebaytanوَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaأَوْهَنَthe weakestawhanaٱلْبُيُوتِ(of) housesl-buyūtiلَبَيْتُ(is) surely (the) houselabaytuٱلْعَنكَبُوتِ ۖ(of) the spiderl-ʿankabūtiلَوْif (only)lawكَانُوا۟theykānūيَعْلَمُونَknowyaʿlamūna٤١
Ceux qui ont pris des protecteurs en dehors d’Allah ressemblent à l’araignée qui s’est donné maison. Or la maison la plus fragile est celle de l’araignée. Si seulement ils savaient!
29:42
إِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaيَعْلَمُknowsyaʿlamuمَاwhatmāيَدْعُونَthey invokeyadʿūnaمِنbesides Himminدُونِهِۦbesides Himdūnihiمِنanyminشَىْءٍۢ ۚthingshayinوَهُوَAnd Hewahuwaٱلْعَزِيزُ(is) the All-Mightyl-ʿazīzuٱلْحَكِيمُthe All-Wisel-ḥakīmu٤٢
Allah connaît toute chose qu’ils invoquent en dehors de Lui. Et c’est Lui le Tout Puissant, le Sage.
29:43
وَتِلْكَAnd thesewatil'kaٱلْأَمْثَـٰلُexamplesl-amthāluنَضْرِبُهَاWe set forthnaḍribuhāلِلنَّاسِ ۖto mankindlilnnāsiوَمَاbut notwamāيَعْقِلُهَآwill understand themyaʿqiluhāإِلَّاexceptillāٱلْعَـٰلِمُونَthose of knowledgel-ʿālimūna٤٣
Telles sont les paraboles que Nous proposons aux gens ; cependant, seuls les savants les comprennent.
29:44
خَلَقَAllah createdkhalaqaٱللَّهُAllah createdl-lahuٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضَand the earthwal-arḍaبِٱلْحَقِّ ۚin truthbil-ḥaqiإِنَّIndeedinnaفِىinfīذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaلَـَٔايَةًۭ(is) surely a Signlaāyatanلِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَfor the believerslil'mu'minīna٤٤
C’est pour une juste raison qu’Allah a créé les cieux et la Terre. Voilà bien là une preuve pour les croyants.
29:45
ٱتْلُReciteut'luمَآwhatmāأُوحِىَhas been revealedūḥiyaإِلَيْكَto youilaykaمِنَofminaٱلْكِتَـٰبِthe Bookl-kitābiوَأَقِمِand establishwa-aqimiٱلصَّلَوٰةَ ۖthe prayerl-ṣalataإِنَّIndeedinnaٱلصَّلَوٰةَthe prayerl-ṣalataتَنْهَىٰpreventstanhāعَنِfromʿaniٱلْفَحْشَآءِthe immoralityl-faḥshāiوَٱلْمُنكَرِ ۗand evil deedswal-munkariوَلَذِكْرُand surely (the) remembrancewaladhik'ruٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiأَكْبَرُ ۗ(is) greatestakbaruوَٱللَّهُAnd Allahwal-lahuيَعْلَمُknowsyaʿlamuمَاwhatmāتَصْنَعُونَyou dotaṣnaʿūna٤٥
Récite ce qui t’est révélé du Livre et accomplis la prière (As-Salât). En vérité la prière (As-Salât) préserve de la turpitude et du blâmable. Et le rappel d’Allah est certes ce qu’il y a de plus grand. Et Allah sait ce que vous faites.
29:46
۞ وَلَاAnd (do) notwalāتُجَـٰدِلُوٓا۟arguetujādilūأَهْلَ(with the) People of the Bookahlaٱلْكِتَـٰبِ(with the) People of the Bookl-kitābiإِلَّاexceptillāبِٱلَّتِىby whichbi-allatīهِىَ[it]hiyaأَحْسَنُ(is) bestaḥsanuإِلَّاexceptillāٱلَّذِينَthose whoalladhīnaظَلَمُوا۟(do) wrongẓalamūمِنْهُمْ ۖamong themmin'humوَقُولُوٓا۟and saywaqūlūءَامَنَّاWe believeāmannāبِٱلَّذِىٓin that (which)bi-alladhīأُنزِلَhas been revealedunzilaإِلَيْنَاto usilaynāوَأُنزِلَand was revealedwa-unzilaإِلَيْكُمْto youilaykumوَإِلَـٰهُنَاAnd our Godwa-ilāhunāوَإِلَـٰهُكُمْand your Godwa-ilāhukumوَٰحِدٌۭ(is) Onewāḥidunوَنَحْنُand wewanaḥnuلَهُۥto Himlahuمُسْلِمُونَsubmitmus'limūna٤٦
Et ne discutez que de la meilleure façon avec les gens du Livre, sauf ceux d’entre eux qui sont injustes. Et dites : "Nous croyons en ce qu’on a fait descendre vers nous et descendre vers vous, et notre Dieu et votre Dieu est le même , et c’est à Lui que nous nous soumettons."
29:47
وَكَذَٰلِكَAnd thuswakadhālikaأَنزَلْنَآWe (have) revealedanzalnāإِلَيْكَto youilaykaٱلْكِتَـٰبَ ۚthe Bookl-kitābaفَٱلَّذِينَSo thosefa-alladhīnaءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُWe gave [them]ātaynāhumuٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaيُؤْمِنُونَbelieveyu'minūnaبِهِۦ ۖthereinbihiوَمِنْAnd amongwaminهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِthesehāulāiمَن(are some) whomanيُؤْمِنُbelieveyu'minuبِهِۦ ۚthereinbihiوَمَاAnd nonewamāيَجْحَدُrejectyajḥaduبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآOur Versesbiāyātināإِلَّاexceptillāٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَthe disbelieversl-kāfirūna٤٧
C’est ainsi que Nous t’avons fait descendre le Livre (le Coran). Ceux à qui Nous avons donné le Livre y croient. Et parmi ceux-ci, il en est qui y croient. Seuls les mécréants renient Nos versets .
29:48
وَمَاAnd notwamāكُنتَ(did) youkuntaتَتْلُوا۟recitetatlūمِنbefore itminقَبْلِهِۦbefore itqablihiمِنanyminكِتَـٰبٍۢBookkitābinوَلَاand notwalāتَخُطُّهُۥ(did) you write ittakhuṭṭuhuبِيَمِينِكَ ۖwith your right handbiyamīnikaإِذًۭاin that caseidhanلَّٱرْتَابَsurely (would) have doubtedla-ir'tābaٱلْمُبْطِلُونَthe falsifiersl-mub'ṭilūna٤٨
Et avant cela, tu ne récitais aucun livre et tu n’en n’écrivais aucun de ta main droite. Sinon, ceux qui nient la vérité auraient eu des doutes.
29:49
بَلْNaybalهُوَithuwaءَايَـٰتٌۢ(is) Versesāyātunبَيِّنَـٰتٌۭclearbayyinātunفِىinfīصُدُورِ(the) breastsṣudūriٱلَّذِينَ(of) those whoalladhīnaأُوتُوا۟are givenūtūٱلْعِلْمَ ۚthe knowledgel-ʿil'maوَمَاAnd notwamāيَجْحَدُrejectyajḥaduبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآOur Versesbiāyātināإِلَّاexceptillāٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَthe wrongdoersl-ẓālimūna٤٩
Il consiste plutôt en des versets évidents, (préservés) dans les poitrines de ceux à qui le savoir a été donné. Et seuls les injustes renient Nos versets.
29:50
وَقَالُوا۟And they saywaqālūلَوْلَآWhy notlawlāأُنزِلَare sent downunzilaعَلَيْهِto himʿalayhiءَايَـٰتٌۭ(the) Signsāyātunمِّنfromminرَّبِّهِۦ ۖhis LordrabbihiقُلْSayqulإِنَّمَاOnlyinnamāٱلْـَٔايَـٰتُthe Signsl-āyātuعِندَ(are) withʿindaٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiوَإِنَّمَآand onlywa-innamāأَنَا۠I (am)anāنَذِيرٌۭa warnernadhīrunمُّبِينٌclearmubīnun٥٠
Et ils dirent : "Pourquoi n’a-t-on pas fait descendre sur lui des prodiges de la part de son Seigneur ?" Dis : "Les prodiges sont auprès d’Allah. Moi, je ne suis qu’un avertisseur bien clair."
29:51
أَوَلَمْAnd is (it) notawalamيَكْفِهِمْsufficient for themyakfihimأَنَّآthat Weannāأَنزَلْنَاrevealedanzalnāعَلَيْكَto youʿalaykaٱلْكِتَـٰبَthe Bookl-kitābaيُتْلَىٰ(which) is recitedyut'lāعَلَيْهِمْ ۚto themʿalayhimإِنَّIndeedinnaفِىinfīذَٰلِكَthatdhālikaلَرَحْمَةًۭsurely is a mercylaraḥmatanوَذِكْرَىٰand a reminderwadhik'rāلِقَوْمٍۢfor a peopleliqawminيُؤْمِنُونَwho believeyu'minūna٥١
Ne leur suffit-il donc point que Nous ayons fait descendre sur toi le Livre et qu’il leur soit récité ? Il y a assurément là une miséricorde et un rappel pour des gens qui croient.
29:52
قُلْSayqulكَفَىٰSufficient iskafāبِٱللَّهِAllahbil-lahiبَيْنِىbetween mebaynīوَبَيْنَكُمْand between youwabaynakumشَهِيدًۭا ۖ(as) a WitnessshahīdanيَعْلَمُHe knowsyaʿlamuمَاwhatmāفِى(is) infīٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗand the earthwal-arḍiوَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūبِٱلْبَـٰطِلِin [the] falsehoodbil-bāṭiliوَكَفَرُوا۟and disbelievewakafarūبِٱللَّهِin Allahbil-lahiأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَthoseulāikaهُمُtheyhumuٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ(are) the losersl-khāsirūna٥٢
Dis : "Allah suffit comme témoin entre moi et vous." Il sait ce qui est dans les cieux et la Terre. Et quant à ceux qui croient au faux et ne croient pas en Allah, ceux-là seront les perdants.
29:53
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَAnd they ask you to hastenwayastaʿjilūnakaبِٱلْعَذَابِ ۚ[with] the punishmentbil-ʿadhābiوَلَوْلَآAnd if notwalawlāأَجَلٌۭ(for) a termajalunمُّسَمًّۭىappointedmusammanلَّجَآءَهُمُsurely (would) have come to themlajāahumuٱلْعَذَابُthe punishmentl-ʿadhābuوَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُمBut it will surely come to themwalayatiyannahumبَغْتَةًۭsuddenlybaghtatanوَهُمْwhile theywahumلَا(do) notlāيَشْعُرُونَperceiveyashʿurūna٥٣
Et ils te demandent de hâter [la venue] du châtiment. S’il n’y avait pas eu un terme fixé, le châtiment leur serait certes venu. Et assurément, il leur viendra soudain, sans qu’ils ne s’en rendent compte.
29:54
يَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَThey ask you to hastenyastaʿjilūnakaبِٱلْعَذَابِthe punishmentbil-ʿadhābiوَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaجَهَنَّمَHelljahannamaلَمُحِيطَةٌۢwill surely, encompasslamuḥīṭatunبِٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَthe disbelieversbil-kāfirīna٥٤
Ils te demandent de hâter [la venue] du châtiment, tandis que l’Enfer cerne les mécréants de toutes parts.
29:55
يَوْمَOn (the) Dayyawmaيَغْشَىٰهُمُwill cover themyaghshāhumuٱلْعَذَابُthe punishmentl-ʿadhābuمِنfromminفَوْقِهِمْabove themfawqihimوَمِنand fromwaminتَحْتِbelowtaḥtiأَرْجُلِهِمْtheir feetarjulihimوَيَقُولُand He will saywayaqūluذُوقُوا۟Tastedhūqūمَاwhatmāكُنتُمْyou usedkuntumتَعْمَلُونَ(to) dotaʿmalūna٥٥
Le jour où le châtiment les enveloppera d’en haut et sous leurs pieds. Il [leur] dira : "Goûtez à ce que vous faisiez !"
29:56
يَـٰعِبَادِىَO My servantsyāʿibādiyaٱلَّذِينَwhoalladhīnaءَامَنُوٓا۟believeāmanūإِنَّIndeedinnaأَرْضِىMy eartharḍīوَٰسِعَةٌۭ(is) spaciouswāsiʿatunفَإِيَّـٰىَso onlyfa-iyyāyaفَٱعْبُدُونِworship Mefa-uʿ'budūni٥٦
Ô Mes serviteurs qui avaient cru ! Ma Terre est bien vaste. Adorez-Moi donc !
29:57
كُلُّEverykulluنَفْسٍۢsoulnafsinذَآئِقَةُ(will) tastedhāiqatuٱلْمَوْتِ ۖthe deathl-mawtiثُمَّThenthummaإِلَيْنَاto Usilaynāتُرْجَعُونَyou will be returnedtur'jaʿūna٥٧
Toute âme goûtera la mort. Ensuite c’est vers Nous que vous serez ramenés.
29:58
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaءَامَنُوا۟believeāmanūوَعَمِلُوا۟and dowaʿamilūٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ[the] righteous deedsl-ṣāliḥātiلَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمsurely We will give them a placelanubawwi-annahumمِّنَinminaٱلْجَنَّةِParadisel-janatiغُرَفًۭاlofty dwellingsghurafanتَجْرِىflowtajrīمِنfromminتَحْتِهَاunderneath ittaḥtihāٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُthe riversl-anhāruخَـٰلِدِينَwill abide foreverkhālidīnaفِيهَا ۚin itfīhāنِعْمَExcellent isniʿ'maأَجْرُ(the) rewardajruٱلْعَـٰمِلِينَ(of) the workersl-ʿāmilīna٥٨
Et quant à ceux qui croient et accomplissent de bonnes œuvres, Nous les installerons certes à l’étage dans le Paradis sous lequel coulent les ruisseaux, pour y demeurer éternellement. Quelle belle récompense que celle de ceux qui font le bien,
29:59
ٱلَّذِينَThose whoalladhīnaصَبَرُوا۟(are) patientṣabarūوَعَلَىٰand uponwaʿalāرَبِّهِمْtheir Lordrabbihimيَتَوَكَّلُونَput their trustyatawakkalūna٥٩
qui endurent, et placent leur confiance en leur Seigneur !
29:60
وَكَأَيِّنAnd how manywaka-ayyinمِّنofminدَآبَّةٍۢa creaturedābbatinلَّا(does) notlāتَحْمِلُcarrytaḥmiluرِزْقَهَاits provisionriz'qahāٱللَّهُAllahl-lahuيَرْزُقُهَاprovides (for) ityarzuquhāوَإِيَّاكُمْ ۚand (for) youwa-iyyākumوَهُوَAnd Hewahuwaٱلسَّمِيعُ(is) the All-Hearerl-samīʿuٱلْعَلِيمُthe All-Knowerl-ʿalīmu٦٠
Et que de bêtes ne se chargent point de leur propre nourriture ! C’est Allah qui les nourrit ainsi que vous. Et c’est Lui l’Audient, l’Omniscient.
29:61
وَلَئِنAnd ifwala-inسَأَلْتَهُمyou ask themsa-altahumمَّنْWhomanخَلَقَcreatedkhalaqaٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضَand the earthwal-arḍaوَسَخَّرَand subjectedwasakharaٱلشَّمْسَthe sunl-shamsaوَٱلْقَمَرَand the moonwal-qamaraلَيَقُولُنَّSurely they would saylayaqūlunnaٱللَّهُ ۖAllahl-lahuفَأَنَّىٰThen howfa-annāيُؤْفَكُونَare they deludedyu'fakūna٦١
Si tu leur demandes : "Qui a créé les cieux et la Terre, et assujetti le soleil et la lune ?" Ils diront très certainement: "Allah". Comment se fait-il qu’ensuite ils se détournent (du chemin droit) ?
29:62
ٱللَّهُAllahal-lahuيَبْسُطُextendsyabsuṭuٱلرِّزْقَthe provisionl-riz'qaلِمَنfor whomlimanيَشَآءُHe willsyashāuمِنْofminعِبَادِهِۦHis slavesʿibādihiوَيَقْدِرُand restrictswayaqdiruلَهُۥٓ ۚfor himlahuإِنَّIndeedinnaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaبِكُلِّof everybikulliشَىْءٍthingshayinعَلِيمٌۭ(is) All-Knowerʿalīmun٦٢
Allah dispense largement ou restreint Ses dons à qui Il veut parmi Ses serviteurs. Certes, Allah est Omniscient.
29:63
وَلَئِنAnd ifwala-inسَأَلْتَهُمyou ask themsa-altahumمَّنWhomanنَّزَّلَsends downnazzalaمِنَfromminaٱلسَّمَآءِthe skyl-samāiمَآءًۭwatermāanفَأَحْيَاand gives lifefa-aḥyāبِهِtherebybihiٱلْأَرْضَ(to) the earthl-arḍaمِنۢafterminبَعْدِafterbaʿdiمَوْتِهَاits deathmawtihāلَيَقُولُنَّSurely, they would saylayaqūlunnaٱللَّهُ ۚAllahl-lahuقُلِSayquliٱلْحَمْدُAll Praisesl-ḥamduلِلَّهِ ۚ(are) for AllahlillahiبَلْButbalأَكْثَرُهُمْmost of themaktharuhumلَا(do) notlāيَعْقِلُونَuse reasonyaʿqilūna٦٣
Et si tu leur demandes : “Qui a fait descendre du ciel une eau avec laquelle Il fait revivre la terre après sa mort ? ” Ils diront très certainement: “Allah.” Dis : “Louange à Allah ! ” Mais la plupart d’entre eux ne raisonnent pas.
29:64
وَمَاAnd notwamāهَـٰذِهِ(is) thishādhihiٱلْحَيَوٰةُlifel-ḥayatuٱلدُّنْيَآ(of) the worldl-dun'yāإِلَّاbutillāلَهْوٌۭamusementlahwunوَلَعِبٌۭ ۚand playwalaʿibunوَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaٱلدَّارَthe Homel-dāraٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ(of) the Hereafter l-ākhirataلَهِىَsurely, itlahiyaٱلْحَيَوَانُ ۚ(is) the lifel-ḥayawānuلَوْif onlylawكَانُوا۟theykānūيَعْلَمُونَknowyaʿlamūna٦٤
Cette vie d’ici-bas n’est qu’amusement et jeu. Et la Demeure de l’au-delà est assurément la véritable vie. S’ils savaient !
29:65
فَإِذَاAnd whenfa-idhāرَكِبُوا۟they embarkrakibūفِى[in]fīٱلْفُلْكِthe shipl-ful'kiدَعَوُا۟they calldaʿawūٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaمُخْلِصِينَ(being) sinceremukh'liṣīnaلَهُto Himlahuٱلدِّينَ(in) the religionl-dīnaفَلَمَّاBut whenfalammāنَجَّىٰهُمْHe delivers themnajjāhumإِلَىtoilāٱلْبَرِّthe landl-bariإِذَاbeholdidhāهُمْtheyhumيُشْرِكُونَassociate partners (with Him)yush'rikūna٦٥
Quand ils montent en bateau, ils invoquent Allah en Lui vouant exclusivement leur culte. [Mais] Une fois qu’Il les a sauvés [des dangers de la mer en les ramenant] sur la terre ferme, voilà qu’ils [Lui] donnent des associés.
29:66
لِيَكْفُرُوا۟So that they may denyliyakfurūبِمَآ[in] whatbimāءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْWe have given themātaynāhumوَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ ۖand they may enjoy (themselves)waliyatamattaʿūفَسَوْفَBut soonfasawfaيَعْلَمُونَthey will knowyaʿlamūna٦٦
Qu’ils nient ce que Nous leur avons donné et jouissent des biens de ce monde ! Ils sauront bientôt !
29:67
أَوَلَمْDo notawalamيَرَوْا۟they seeyarawأَنَّاthat Weannāجَعَلْنَاhave madejaʿalnāحَرَمًاa Sanctuaryḥaramanءَامِنًۭاsecureāminanوَيُتَخَطَّفُwhile are being taken awaywayutakhaṭṭafuٱلنَّاسُthe peoplel-nāsuمِنْaround themminحَوْلِهِمْ ۚaround themḥawlihimأَفَبِٱلْبَـٰطِلِThen do in (the) falsehoodafabil-bāṭiliيُؤْمِنُونَthey believeyu'minūnaوَبِنِعْمَةِand in (the) Favorwabiniʿ'matiٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiيَكْفُرُونَthey disbelieveyakfurūna٦٧
Ne voient-ils pas que vraiment Nous avons fait un sanctuaire sûr [La Mecque], alors que tout autour d’eux on enlève les gens ? Croiront-ils donc au faux et nieront-ils les bienfaits d’Allah ?
29:68
وَمَنْAnd whowamanأَظْلَمُ(is) more unjustaẓlamuمِمَّنِthan (he) whomimmaniٱفْتَرَىٰinventsif'tarāعَلَىagainstʿalāٱللَّهِAllahl-lahiكَذِبًاa liekadhibanأَوْorawكَذَّبَdenieskadhabaبِٱلْحَقِّthe truthbil-ḥaqiلَمَّاwhenlammāجَآءَهُۥٓ ۚit has come to himjāahuأَلَيْسَIs there notalaysaفِىinfīجَهَنَّمَHelljahannamaمَثْوًۭىan abodemathwanلِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَfor the disbelieverslil'kāfirīna٦٨
Et quel pire injuste que celui qui invente un mensonge contre Allah, ou qui dément la Vérité quand elle lui parvient ? N’y a-t-il pas dans l’Enfer [qu'il y a] une demeure pour les mécréants ?
29:69
وَٱلَّذِينَAnd those whowa-alladhīnaجَـٰهَدُوا۟strivejāhadūفِينَاfor UsfīnāلَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْWe will surely, guide themlanahdiyannahumسُبُلَنَا ۚ(to) Our wayssubulanāوَإِنَّAnd indeedwa-innaٱللَّهَAllahl-lahaلَمَعَsurely (is) withlamaʿaٱلْمُحْسِنِينَthe good-doersl-muḥ'sinīna٦٩
Et quant à ceux qui luttent pour Notre cause, Nous les guiderons certes sur Nos sentiers, Allah est en vérité avec les bienfaisants.
