النبإ

سورة النبإ (النبإ) هي السورة رقم ٧٨ في القرآن الكريم — وهي سورة مكية تتألف من ٤٠ آية. السور المكية نزلت قبل هجرة النبي محمد ﷺ إلى المدينة، وتركّز غالبًا على الإيمان وتوحيد الله والآخرة.

بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
٧٨:١
عَمَّAbout whatʿammaيَتَسَآءَلُونَare they asking one anotheryatasāalūna١
About what are they asking one another?
٧٨:٢
عَنِAboutʿaniٱلنَّبَإِthe Newsl-naba-iٱلْعَظِيمِthe Greatl-ʿaẓīmi٢
About the great news -
٧٨:٣
ٱلَّذِى(About) whichalladhīهُمْtheyhumفِيهِ(are) concerning itfīhiمُخْتَلِفُونَ(in) disagreementmukh'talifūna٣
That over which they are in disagreement.
٧٨:٤
كَلَّاNaykallāسَيَعْلَمُونَ(soon) they will knowsayaʿlamūna٤
No! They are going to know.
٧٨:٥
ثُمَّThenthummaكَلَّاNaykallāسَيَعْلَمُونَ(soon) they will knowsayaʿlamūna٥
Then, no! They are going to know.
٧٨:٦
أَلَمْHave notalamنَجْعَلِWe madenajʿaliٱلْأَرْضَthe earthl-arḍaمِهَـٰدًۭاa resting placemihādan٦
Have We not made the earth a resting place?
٧٨:٧
وَٱلْجِبَالَAnd the mountainswal-jibālaأَوْتَادًۭا(as) pegsawtādan٧
And the mountains as stakes?
٧٨:٨
وَخَلَقْنَـٰكُمْAnd We created youwakhalaqnākumأَزْوَٰجًۭا(in) pairsazwājan٨
And We created you in pairs.
٧٨:٩
وَجَعَلْنَاAnd We madewajaʿalnāنَوْمَكُمْyour sleepnawmakumسُبَاتًۭا(for) restsubātan٩
And made your sleep [a means for] rest
٧٨:١٠
وَجَعَلْنَاAnd We madewajaʿalnāٱلَّيْلَthe nightal-laylaلِبَاسًۭا(as) coveringlibāsan١٠
And made the night as clothing.
٧٨:١١
وَجَعَلْنَاAnd We madewajaʿalnāٱلنَّهَارَthe dayl-nahāraمَعَاشًۭا(for) livelihoodmaʿāshan١١
And made the day for livelihood.
٧٨:١٢
وَبَنَيْنَاAnd We constructedwabanaynāفَوْقَكُمْover youfawqakumسَبْعًۭاsevensabʿanشِدَادًۭاstrongshidādan١٢
And constructed above you seven strong [heavens].
٧٨:١٣
وَجَعَلْنَاAnd We placedwajaʿalnāسِرَاجًۭاa lampsirājanوَهَّاجًۭاburningwahhājan١٣
And made [therein] a burning lamp
٧٨:١٤
وَأَنزَلْنَاAnd We sent downwa-anzalnāمِنَfromminaٱلْمُعْصِرَٰتِthe rain cloudsl-muʿ'ṣirātiمَآءًۭwatermāanثَجَّاجًۭاpouring abundantlythajjājan١٤
And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water.
٧٨:١٥
لِّنُخْرِجَThat We may bring forthlinukh'rijaبِهِۦtherebybihiحَبًّۭاgrainḥabbanوَنَبَاتًۭاand vegetationwanabātan١٥
That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation.
٧٨:١٦
وَجَنَّـٰتٍAnd gardenswajannātinأَلْفَافًا(of) thick foliagealfāfan١٦
And gardens of entwined growth.
٧٨:١٧
إِنَّIndeedinnaيَوْمَ(the) Dayyawmaٱلْفَصْلِ(of) the Judgmentl-faṣliكَانَiskānaمِيقَـٰتًۭاan appointed timemīqātan١٧
Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time -
٧٨:١٨
يَوْمَ(The) Dayyawmaيُنفَخُ(in which) shall be blownyunfakhuفِىinٱلصُّورِthe trumpetl-ṣūriفَتَأْتُونَand you will come forthfatatūnaأَفْوَاجًۭا(in) crowdsafwājan١٨
The Day the Horn is blown and you will come forth in multitudes
٧٨:١٩
وَفُتِحَتِAnd is openedwafutiḥatiٱلسَّمَآءُthe heavenl-samāuفَكَانَتْand becomesfakānatأَبْوَٰبًۭاgatewaysabwāban١٩
And the heaven is opened and will become gateways.
٧٨:٢٠
وَسُيِّرَتِAnd are movedwasuyyiratiٱلْجِبَالُthe mountainsl-jibāluفَكَانَتْand becomefakānatسَرَابًاa miragesarāban٢٠
And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage.
٧٨:٢١
إِنَّIndeedinnaجَهَنَّمَHelljahannamaكَانَتْiskānatمِرْصَادًۭاlying in waitmir'ṣādan٢١
Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait
٧٨:٢٢
لِّلطَّـٰغِينَFor the transgressorslilṭṭāghīnaمَـَٔابًۭاa place of returnmaāban٢٢
For the transgressors, a place of return,
٧٨:٢٣
لَّـٰبِثِينَ(They will) be remaininglābithīnaفِيهَآthereinfīhāأَحْقَابًۭا(for) agesaḥqāban٢٣
In which they will remain for ages [unending].
٧٨:٢٤
لَّاNotيَذُوقُونَthey will tasteyadhūqūnaفِيهَاthereinfīhāبَرْدًۭاcoolnessbardanوَلَاand notwalāشَرَابًاany drinksharāban٢٤
They will not taste therein [any] coolness or drink.
٧٨:٢٥
إِلَّاExceptillāحَمِيمًۭاscalding waterḥamīmanوَغَسَّاقًۭاand purulencewaghassāqan٢٥
Except scalding water and [foul] purulence -
٧٨:٢٦
جَزَآءًۭA recompensejazāanوِفَاقًاappropriatewifāqan٢٦
An appropriate recompense.
٧٨:٢٧
إِنَّهُمْIndeed, theyinnahumكَانُوا۟werekānūلَاnotيَرْجُونَexpectingyarjūnaحِسَابًۭاan accountḥisāban٢٧
Indeed, they were not expecting an account
٧٨:٢٨
وَكَذَّبُوا۟And they deniedwakadhabūبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاOur Signsbiāyātināكِذَّابًۭا(with) denialkidhāban٢٨
And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial.
٧٨:٢٩
وَكُلَّAnd everywakullaشَىْءٍthingshayinأَحْصَيْنَـٰهُWe have enumerated itaḥṣaynāhuكِتَـٰبًۭا(in) a Bookkitāban٢٩
But all things We have enumerated in writing.
٧٨:٣٠
فَذُوقُوا۟So tastefadhūqūفَلَنand neverfalanنَّزِيدَكُمْWe will increase younazīdakumإِلَّاexceptillāعَذَابًا(in) punishmentʿadhāban٣٠
"So taste [the penalty], and never will We increase you except in torment."1
٧٨:٣١
إِنَّIndeedinnaلِلْمُتَّقِينَfor the righteouslil'muttaqīnaمَفَازًا(is) successmafāzan٣١
Indeed, for the righteous is attainment -
٧٨:٣٢
حَدَآئِقَGardensḥadāiqaوَأَعْنَـٰبًۭاand grapevineswa-aʿnāban٣٢
Gardens and grapevines.
٧٨:٣٣
وَكَوَاعِبَAnd splendid companionswakawāʿibaأَتْرَابًۭاwell-matchedatrāban٣٣
And full-breasted [companions] of equal age.
٧٨:٣٤
وَكَأْسًۭاAnd a cupwakasanدِهَاقًۭاfulldihāqan٣٤
And a full cup.
٧٨:٣٥
لَّاNotيَسْمَعُونَthey will hearyasmaʿūnaفِيهَاthereinfīhāلَغْوًۭاany vain talklaghwanوَلَاand notwalāكِذَّٰبًۭاany falsehoodkidhāban٣٥
No ill speech will they hear therein or any falsehood -
٧٨:٣٦
جَزَآءًۭ(As) a rewardjazāanمِّنfromminرَّبِّكَyour Lordrabbikaعَطَآءًa giftʿaṭāanحِسَابًۭا(according to) accountḥisāban٣٦
[As] reward from your Lord, [a generous] gift [made due by] account,
٧٨:٣٧
رَّبِّLordrabbiٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِand the earthwal-arḍiوَمَاand whateverwamāبَيْنَهُمَا(is) between both of thembaynahumāٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ۖthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniلَاnotيَمْلِكُونَthey have poweryamlikūnaمِنْهُfrom Himmin'huخِطَابًۭا(to) addresskhiṭāban٣٧
[From] the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Most Merciful. They possess not from Him [authority for] speech.
٧٨:٣٨
يَوْمَ(The) Dayyawmaيَقُومُwill standyaqūmuٱلرُّوحُthe Spiritl-rūḥuوَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُand the Angelswal-malāikatuصَفًّۭا ۖ(in) rowsṣaffanلَّاnotيَتَكَلَّمُونَthey will speakyatakallamūnaإِلَّاexceptillāمَنْ(one) who manأَذِنَpermitsadhinaلَهُ[for] himlahuٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُthe Most Graciousl-raḥmānuوَقَالَand he (will) saywaqālaصَوَابًۭا(what is) correctṣawāban٣٨
The Day that the Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] and the angels will stand in rows, they will not speak except for one whom the Most Merciful permits, and he will say what is correct.
٧٨:٣٩
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaٱلْيَوْمُ(is) the Dayl-yawmuٱلْحَقُّ ۖthe Truel-ḥaquفَمَنSo whoeverfamanشَآءَwillsshāaٱتَّخَذَlet him takeittakhadhaإِلَىٰtowardsilāرَبِّهِۦhis Lordrabbihiمَـَٔابًاa returnmaāban٣٩
That is the True [i.e., certain] Day; so he who wills may take to his Lord a [way of] return.
٧٨:٤٠
إِنَّآIndeed Weinnāأَنذَرْنَـٰكُمْ[We] have warned youandharnākumعَذَابًۭا(of) a punishmentʿadhābanقَرِيبًۭاnearqarībanيَوْمَ(the) Dayyawmaيَنظُرُwill seeyanẓuruٱلْمَرْءُthe manl-maruمَاwhatقَدَّمَتْhave sent forthqaddamatيَدَاهُhis handsyadāhuوَيَقُولُand will saywayaqūluٱلْكَافِرُthe disbelieverl-kāfiruيَـٰلَيْتَنِىO I wishyālaytanīكُنتُI werekuntuتُرَٰبًۢاdustturāban٤٠
Indeed, We have warned you of an impending punishment on the Day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I wish that I were dust!"
