Mecquoise 40 Versets Juz 30
النبإ

La sourate An-Naba (النبإ) est le 78e chapitre du Saint Coran — une sourate Mecquoise de 40 versets. Les sourates mecquoises ont été révélées avant l'émigration du Prophète Muhammad (paix sur lui) à Médine et mettent souvent l'accent sur la foi, l'unicité de Dieu et l'au-delà.

بِسْمِIn (the) namebis'miٱللَّهِ(of) Allahl-lahiٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Mercifull-raḥīmi
Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux
78:1
عَمَّAbout whatʿammaيَتَسَآءَلُونَare they asking one anotheryatasāalūna١
Sur quoi s’interrogent-ils mutuellement ?
78:2
عَنِAboutʿaniٱلنَّبَإِthe Newsl-naba-iٱلْعَظِيمِthe Greatl-ʿaẓīmi٢
Sur la grande nouvelle,
78:3
ٱلَّذِى(About) whichalladhīهُمْtheyhumفِيهِ(are) concerning itfīhiمُخْتَلِفُونَ(in) disagreementmukh'talifūna٣
à propos de laquelle ils divergent.
78:4
كَلَّاNaykallāسَيَعْلَمُونَ(soon) they will knowsayaʿlamūna٤
Eh bien non! Ils sauront bientôt.
78:5
ثُمَّThenthummaكَلَّاNaykallāسَيَعْلَمُونَ(soon) they will knowsayaʿlamūna٥
Encore une fois, non! Ils sauront bientôt.
78:6
أَلَمْHave notalamنَجْعَلِWe madenajʿaliٱلْأَرْضَthe earthl-arḍaمِهَـٰدًۭاa resting placemihādan٦
N’avons-Nous pas fait de la terre une couche ?
78:7
وَٱلْجِبَالَAnd the mountainswal-jibālaأَوْتَادًۭا(as) pegsawtādan٧
et (placé) les montagnes comme des piquets ?
78:8
وَخَلَقْنَـٰكُمْAnd We created youwakhalaqnākumأَزْوَٰجًۭا(in) pairsazwājan٨
Nous vous avons créés en couples,
78:9
وَجَعَلْنَاAnd We madewajaʿalnāنَوْمَكُمْyour sleepnawmakumسُبَاتًۭا(for) restsubātan٩
et désigné votre sommeil pour votre repos,
78:10
وَجَعَلْنَاAnd We madewajaʿalnāٱلَّيْلَthe nightal-laylaلِبَاسًۭا(as) coveringlibāsan١٠
et fait de la nuit un vêtement,
78:11
وَجَعَلْنَاAnd We madewajaʿalnāٱلنَّهَارَthe dayl-nahāraمَعَاشًۭا(for) livelihoodmaʿāshan١١
et assigné le jour pour les affaires de la vie,
78:12
وَبَنَيْنَاAnd We constructedwabanaynāفَوْقَكُمْover youfawqakumسَبْعًۭاsevensabʿanشِدَادًۭاstrongshidādan١٢
et construit au-dessus de vous sept (cieux) renforcés,
78:13
وَجَعَلْنَاAnd We placedwajaʿalnāسِرَاجًۭاa lampsirājanوَهَّاجًۭاburningwahhājan١٣
et [y] avons placé une lampe (le soleil) très ardente,
78:14
وَأَنزَلْنَاAnd We sent downwa-anzalnāمِنَfromminaٱلْمُعْصِرَٰتِthe rain cloudsl-muʿ'ṣirātiمَآءًۭwatermāanثَجَّاجًۭاpouring abundantlythajjājan١٤
et fait descendre des nuées une eau abondante.
78:15
لِّنُخْرِجَThat We may bring forthlinukh'rijaبِهِۦtherebybihiحَبًّۭاgrainḥabbanوَنَبَاتًۭاand vegetationwanabātan١٥
pour faire pousser par elle grains et plantes.
78:16
وَجَنَّـٰتٍAnd gardenswajannātinأَلْفَافًا(of) thick foliagealfāfan١٦
et jardins luxuriants.
78:17
إِنَّIndeedinnaيَوْمَ(the) Dayyawmaٱلْفَصْلِ(of) the Judgmentl-faṣliكَانَiskānaمِيقَـٰتًۭاan appointed timemīqātan١٧
Le Jour de la Décision [du Jugement] a son terme fixé.
78:18
يَوْمَ(The) Dayyawmaيُنفَخُ(in which) shall be blownyunfakhuفِىinfīٱلصُّورِthe trumpetl-ṣūriفَتَأْتُونَand you will come forthfatatūnaأَفْوَاجًۭا(in) crowdsafwājan١٨
Le jour où l’on soufflera dans la Trompe, vous viendrez par troupes,
78:19
وَفُتِحَتِAnd is openedwafutiḥatiٱلسَّمَآءُthe heavenl-samāuفَكَانَتْand becomesfakānatأَبْوَٰبًۭاgatewaysabwāban١٩
et le ciel sera ouvert et [présentera] des portes,
78:20
وَسُيِّرَتِAnd are movedwasuyyiratiٱلْجِبَالُthe mountainsl-jibāluفَكَانَتْand becomefakānatسَرَابًاa miragesarāban٢٠
et les montagnes seront mises en marche et deviendront un mirage.
78:21
إِنَّIndeedinnaجَهَنَّمَHelljahannamaكَانَتْiskānatمِرْصَادًۭاlying in waitmir'ṣādan٢١
L’Enfer demeure aux aguets.
78:22
لِّلطَّـٰغِينَFor the transgressorslilṭṭāghīnaمَـَٔابًۭاa place of returnmaāban٢٢
refuge pour les transgresseurs.
78:23
لَّـٰبِثِينَ(They will) be remaininglābithīnaفِيهَآthereinfīhāأَحْقَابًۭا(for) agesaḥqāban٢٣
Ils y demeureront pendant des siècles successifs.
78:24
لَّاNotlāيَذُوقُونَthey will tasteyadhūqūnaفِيهَاthereinfīhāبَرْدًۭاcoolnessbardanوَلَاand notwalāشَرَابًاany drinksharāban٢٤
Ils n’y goûteront ni fraîcheur ni breuvage,
78:25
إِلَّاExceptillāحَمِيمًۭاscalding waterḥamīmanوَغَسَّاقًۭاand purulencewaghassāqan٢٥
Hormis une eau bouillante et un pus.
78:26
جَزَآءًۭA recompensejazāanوِفَاقًاappropriatewifāqan٢٦
comme rétribution équitable.
78:27
إِنَّهُمْIndeed, theyinnahumكَانُوا۟werekānūلَاnotlāيَرْجُونَexpectingyarjūnaحِسَابًۭاan accountḥisāban٢٧
Car ils ne s’attendaient pas à rendre compte,
78:28
وَكَذَّبُوا۟And they deniedwakadhabūبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاOur Signsbiāyātināكِذَّابًۭا(with) denialkidhāban٢٨
et traitaient de mensonges, continuellement, Nos versets.
78:29
وَكُلَّAnd everywakullaشَىْءٍthingshayinأَحْصَيْنَـٰهُWe have enumerated itaḥṣaynāhuكِتَـٰبًۭا(in) a Bookkitāban٢٩
alors que Nous avons dénombré toutes choses en écrit.
78:30
فَذُوقُوا۟So tastefadhūqūفَلَنand neverfalanنَّزِيدَكُمْWe will increase younazīdakumإِلَّاexceptillāعَذَابًا(in) punishmentʿadhāban٣٠
Goûtez-donc. Nous n’augmenterons pour vous que le châtiment !
78:31
إِنَّIndeedinnaلِلْمُتَّقِينَfor the righteouslil'muttaqīnaمَفَازًا(is) successmafāzan٣١
Pour les pieux ce sera une réussite :
78:32
حَدَآئِقَGardensḥadāiqaوَأَعْنَـٰبًۭاand grapevineswa-aʿnāban٣٢
jardins et vignes,
78:33
وَكَوَاعِبَAnd splendid companionswakawāʿibaأَتْرَابًۭاwell-matchedatrāban٣٣
et des (belles) aux seins arrondis, d’une égale jeunesse,
78:34
وَكَأْسًۭاAnd a cupwakasanدِهَاقًۭاfulldihāqan٣٤
et coupes débordantes.
78:35
لَّاNotlāيَسْمَعُونَthey will hearyasmaʿūnaفِيهَاthereinfīhāلَغْوًۭاany vain talklaghwanوَلَاand notwalāكِذَّٰبًۭاany falsehoodkidhāban٣٥
Ils n’y entendront ni futilités ni mensonges.
78:36
جَزَآءًۭ(As) a rewardjazāanمِّنfromminرَّبِّكَyour Lordrabbikaعَطَآءًa giftʿaṭāanحِسَابًۭا(according to) accountḥisāban٣٦
A titre de récompense de ton Seigneur et à titre de don abondant.
78:37
رَّبِّLordrabbiٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavensl-samāwātiوَٱلْأَرْضِand the earthwal-arḍiوَمَاand whateverwamāبَيْنَهُمَا(is) between both of thembaynahumāٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ۖthe Most Graciousl-raḥmāniلَاnotlāيَمْلِكُونَthey have poweryamlikūnaمِنْهُfrom Himmin'huخِطَابًۭا(to) addresskhiṭāban٣٧
du Seigneur des cieux et de la terre et de ce qui existe entre eux, le Tout Miséricordieux; ils n’osent nullement Lui adresser la parole.
78:38
يَوْمَ(The) Dayyawmaيَقُومُwill standyaqūmuٱلرُّوحُthe Spiritl-rūḥuوَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُand the Angelswal-malāikatuصَفًّۭا ۖ(in) rowsṣaffanلَّاnotlāيَتَكَلَّمُونَthey will speakyatakallamūnaإِلَّاexceptillāمَنْ(one) who manأَذِنَpermitsadhinaلَهُ[for] himlahuٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُthe Most Graciousl-raḥmānuوَقَالَand he (will) saywaqālaصَوَابًۭا(what is) correctṣawāban٣٨
Le jour où l’Esprit et les Anges se dresseront en rangs, nul ne saura parler, sauf celui à qui le Tout Miséricordieux aura accordé la permission, et qui dira la vérité.
78:39
ذَٰلِكَThatdhālikaٱلْيَوْمُ(is) the Dayl-yawmuٱلْحَقُّ ۖthe Truel-ḥaquفَمَنSo whoeverfamanشَآءَwillsshāaٱتَّخَذَlet him takeittakhadhaإِلَىٰtowardsilāرَبِّهِۦhis Lordrabbihiمَـَٔابًاa returnmaāban٣٩
Ce jour-là est inéluctable. Que celui qui veut prenne donc refuge auprès de son Seigneur.
78:40
إِنَّآIndeed Weinnāأَنذَرْنَـٰكُمْ[We] have warned youandharnākumعَذَابًۭا(of) a punishmentʿadhābanقَرِيبًۭاnearqarībanيَوْمَ(the) Dayyawmaيَنظُرُwill seeyanẓuruٱلْمَرْءُthe manl-maruمَاwhatmāقَدَّمَتْhave sent forthqaddamatيَدَاهُhis handsyadāhuوَيَقُولُand will saywayaqūluٱلْكَافِرُthe disbelieverl-kāfiruيَـٰلَيْتَنِىO I wishyālaytanīكُنتُI werekuntuتُرَٰبًۢاdustturāban٤٠
Nous vous avons avertis d’un châtiment bien proche, le jour où l’homme verra ce que ses deux mains ont préparé ; et l’infidèle dira : "Hélas pour moi ! Comme j’aurais aimé n’être que poussière."
