Bismillah
بِسْمِ In (the) name bis'mi
In (the) name
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah l-lahi
(of) Allah
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ the Most Gracious l-raḥmāni
the Most Gracious
ٱلرَّحِيمِ the Most Merciful l-raḥīmi
the Most Merciful
Im Namen Allahs, des Allerbarmers, des Barmherzigen
90:1
لَآ Nay
Nay
أُقْسِمُ I swear uq'simu
I swear
بِهَـٰذَا by this bihādhā
by this
ٱلْبَلَدِ city l-baladi
city

(1)
Nein, Ich schwöre bei dieser Ortschaft
90:2
وَأَنتَ And you wa-anta
And you
حِلٌّۢ (are) free (to dwell) ḥillun
(are) free (to dwell)
بِهَـٰذَا in this bihādhā
in this
ٱلْبَلَدِ city l-baladi
city
٢ (2)
(2)
-, wo du in dieser Ortschaft deinen Aufenthalt hast,
90:3
وَوَالِدٍۢ And the begetter wawālidin
And the begetter
وَمَا and what wamā
and what
وَلَدَ he begot walada
he begot
٣ (3)
(3)
und bei einem (jeden) Erzeuger und dem, was er zeugt.
90:4
لَقَدْ Certainly laqad
Certainly
خَلَقْنَا We have created khalaqnā
We have created
ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ man l-insāna
man
فِى (to be) in
(to be) in
كَبَدٍ hardship kabadin
hardship
٤ (4)
(4)
Wir haben den Menschen ja (zu einem Leben) in Mühsal erschaffen.
90:5
أَيَحْسَبُ Does he think ayaḥsabu
Does he think
أَن that an
that
لَّن not lan
not
يَقْدِرَ has power yaqdira
has power
عَلَيْهِ over him ʿalayhi
over him
أَحَدٌۭ anyone aḥadun
anyone

Meint er etwa, daß überhaupt niemand Macht über ihn hat?
90:6
يَقُولُ He will say yaqūlu
He will say
أَهْلَكْتُ I have squandered ahlaktu
I have squandered
مَالًۭا wealth mālan
wealth
لُّبَدًا abundant lubadan
abundant

Er sagt: Ich habe Besitz in Mengen verbraucht.
90:7
أَيَحْسَبُ Does he think ayaḥsabu
Does he think
أَن that an
that
لَّمْ not lam
not
يَرَهُۥٓ sees him yarahu
sees him
أَحَدٌ anyone aḥadun
anyone
٧ (7)

Meint er etwa, daß niemand ihn gesehen hat?
90:8
أَلَمْ Have not alam
Have not
نَجْعَل We made najʿal
We made
لَّهُۥ for him lahu
for him
عَيْنَيْنِ two eyes ʿaynayni
two eyes
٨ (8)

Haben Wir ihm nicht zwei Augen gemacht,
90:9
وَلِسَانًۭا And a tongue walisānan
And a tongue
وَشَفَتَيْنِ and two lips washafatayni
and two lips
٩ (9)
(9)
eine Zunge und zwei Lippen
90:10
وَهَدَيْنَـٰهُ And shown him wahadaynāhu
And shown him
ٱلنَّجْدَيْنِ the two ways l-najdayni
the two ways
١٠ (10)

und ihn beide Hochebenen geleitet?
90:11
فَلَا But not falā
But not
ٱقْتَحَمَ he has attempted iq'taḥama
he has attempted
ٱلْعَقَبَةَ the steep path l-ʿaqabata
the steep path

Aber er ist nicht den steilen Paßweg hinaufgestürmt.
90:12
وَمَآ And what wamā
And what
أَدْرَىٰكَ can make you know adrāka
can make you know
مَا what
what
ٱلْعَقَبَةُ the steep path (is) l-ʿaqabatu
the steep path (is)

Und was läßt dich wissen, was der steile Paßweg ist?
90:13
فَكُّ (It is) freeing fakku
(It is) freeing
رَقَبَةٍ a neck raqabatin
a neck
١٣ (13)
(13)
(Es ist) die Freilassung eines Sklaven
90:14
أَوْ Or aw
Or
إِطْعَـٰمٌۭ feeding iṭ'ʿāmun
feeding
فِى in

يَوْمٍۢ a day yawmin
a day
ذِى of dhī
of
مَسْغَبَةٍۢ severe hunger masghabatin
severe hunger

oder zu speisen am Tag der Hungersnot
90:15
يَتِيمًۭا An orphan yatīman
An orphan
ذَا of dhā

مَقْرَبَةٍ near relationship maqrabatin
near relationship
١٥ (15)
(15)
eine Waise, die einem nahe ist,
90:16
أَوْ Or aw
Or
مِسْكِينًۭا a needy person mis'kīnan
a needy person
ذَا in dhā
in
مَتْرَبَةٍۢ misery matrabatin
misery
١٦ (16)
(16)
oder einen Armen, der dem Boden nahe ist.
90:17
ثُمَّ Then thumma
Then
كَانَ he is kāna
he is
مِنَ of mina
of
ٱلَّذِينَ those who alladhīna
those who
ءَامَنُوا۟ believe āmanū
believe
وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ and enjoin (each other) watawāṣaw
and enjoin (each other)
بِٱلصَّبْرِ to patience bil-ṣabri
to patience
وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ and enjoin (each other) watawāṣaw
and enjoin (each other)
بِٱلْمَرْحَمَةِ to compassion bil-marḥamati
to compassion
١٧ (17)
(17)
Und daß man hierauf zu denjenigen gehört, die glauben, einander die Standhaftigkeit eindringlich empfehlen und einander die Barmherzigkeit eindringlich empfehlen.
90:18
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those ulāika
Those
أَصْحَـٰبُ (are the) companions aṣḥābu
(are the) companions
ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ (of) the right (hand) l-maymanati
(of) the right (hand)
١٨ (18)
(18)
Das sind die Gefährten der rechten Seite.
90:19
وَٱلَّذِينَ But those who wa-alladhīna
But those who
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve kafarū
disbelieve
بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا in Our Verses biāyātinā
in Our Verses
هُمْ they hum
they
أَصْحَـٰبُ (are the) companions aṣḥābu
(are the) companions
ٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ (of) the left (hand) l-mashamati
(of) the left (hand)
١٩ (19)
(19)
Diejenigen aber, die Unsere Zeichen verleugnen, sie sind die Gefährten der unglückseligen Seite.
90:20
عَلَيْهِمْ Over them ʿalayhim
Over them
نَارٌۭ (will be the) Fire nārun
(will be the) Fire
مُّؤْصَدَةٌۢ closed in mu'ṣadatun
closed in

Über ihnen liegt ein (sie) einschließendes Feuer.
